These floor mats fit my 1993 Toyota Pickup, Ext Cab, 4x4 really well. I picked up a cheaper pair of rubber mats from the auto store, but they always bugged me that they didn't fit that well and shifted out of place when I got in my truck.

These are modeled to the contours of the floor for a snug fit, and have good 'teeth' on the underside so they don't slip around. I also really liked that they weren't too thick, like a lot of rubber mats, keeping my knees out of my chest was well worth the entry price.

Kuryakyn 4219 Chrome L.E.D. Battery Gauge

After experiencing catastrophic stator-rectifier failure on a long motorcycle ride, I installed a Kuryakyn battery gauge. The gauge displays a series of LED lights with red on the left, then orange to the middle and green from center to right. As long as you have green lights flickering, you know the charging system is working. In the event of system failure, you get red/orange warning lights, and instead of a dead battery and motorcycle beside the road, you have some time to remove headlight fuse and shut off any other non-essiential electrical accessories, and hopefully have enough battery left to get home or to help. Pros: This thing is tiny, so you can mount it about anywhere, bright easy to see day or night. You can order it in chrome or black finish. Connect to any source that is normally on when riding, like tail light circuit. Negatives: In my opinion, the red light on the left is almost distractingly bright (of course you can tape over it).

This is a nice looking volt meter that looks good on your bike. It installs with very strong double-back tape. It's accurate enough to use as a baseline reference. Mine reads a little on the low side, but then, I connected it at the end of a small diameter switched accessory line. My Fluke meter showed lower voltage out there then at the battery. So I just consider what it normally reads as my standard to compare to if there are problems.

This thing is pretty bright. Enough so that you may be drawn to look at it too much. And in the wrong place at night I suspect it could be quite annoying. I decided to mount it on the steering neck, just below the handle bars. Meaning, when I look at it, I see it past the bottom of the handlebars. Most of the time I can't see it unless I look down. And at night it's far enough away, and at only a small angle up from flat, so I don't get the full brightness all the time.

It's a good gauge to add to your bike. But don't get obsessed with looking at it all the time.

I had problems with battery going dead so I bought this gauge to watch my electical system. It is just plain inaccurate. I gave it one star because it doesn't do it's basic function. I compared with a Fluke meter that I know is accurate and there is 2 volt difference. I called Kuryakyn and they said don't worry about the numbers, only the LEDs. However, there explanation of the LED scale doesn't match the 8 16 Volt scale.

Good product, easy to install. Only negative is the red and yellow and green LED's are always illuminated. At night they are a little distracting. Wish only the LED corresponding to the voltage would illuminate.

DEI 010480 Cell Saver - Battery Insulation Kit

My original battery wrap insulation was looking pretty sad when I replaced my car battery (size Group 58) recently, so I got this one. Pretty easy to install just trim the wrap to the height of the battery (I overlapped the excess going around the battery) and use the supplied tape to secure the wrap. Tip don't make it too snug that way you can slip it off when you need to service or remove the battery. Has a insulation pad that fits underneath the battery. Can make for a snug fit for the hold-down clamp when you first put it back in, but all fits OK.

The battery insulation kit has worked well, my battery is in back by the firewall a very hot area, also by exhaust manifold. Idiot design that kills batteries from Ford. The material keeps battery much cooler which will extend its life. Heat is the killer of batteries.

I'm not sure what happened with the previous review there, but I have had mine working as an aux battery with a 4000 watt system for over a year now without any problems. A few people told me to get this to help with the dimming of my headlights. They said it would work great so I looked up reviews on it, they were all good almost to good to be true so I bought it. When I got it I tested it and it was charged enough to use, so I wired it up exactly like the booklet said and it was fine. It has worked great for a month untill today driving home from work the battery terminal melted right out of the battery. I couldn't believe it 200 bucks gone. I stayed within the wattage that kinetik suggests and I also hooked it up the way they suggest so the only conclusion I can come to is this thing is crap save your money.

It has performed well, discharging slowly as power is drawn from it at night and then recharging quickly when the sun comes up the next morning. It is installed on my 26 foot travel trailer. I use a single 80 watt solar panel connected to a 30 amp solar regulator to keep the battery charged up when it is installed on the trailer, and during the winter I remove the battery from the trailer, and I connect the battery to a battery tender in my garage. Ultrastart U1272-pro Remote Car Starter / Keyless Entry Combo with 2,800 Foot Range

This kit is very straight forward and has quite a few options as far as 2nd and 3rd optional ouptuts go. I was able to wire it so that holding the unlock button 3 sceonds pops the trunk on my wifes 01 ford taurus completely elimininating the need for the factory key fob. I could also use an output to engage rear defroster if I wanted to. Fob feels sturdy and like it should last quite some time. Range is excellent also.Seems it is good for about 250 yards (real world), about 80-100 yards if walls/interference are present.

Problem is, Ultrastart does not allow access to wiring resources or much of anything unless you are an authorized reseller with login so you'll need to use something like bulldogsecurity.com for diagrams and colors and adapt them to this kits wiring. "They are close to each other anyways on hookups"

This remote starter seems to be hard to install, but it's very easy to do it if you know what your trying to do. I used to install bulldog remote starters, but they have a very short range compared to this, and ULTRASTART starters are even cheaper. The actual range is about 200-250 yards without interference. I highly recomend this; it's worth the money, plus, the remotes look fancy. Also it comes with manuals that explain clearly how to install it. GOOD DEAL

Having done some minor previous electrical work on vehicles and having an EE degree was helpful in this endeavor. This unit is more geared towards professional installers, which I am not. However, using resources available on the web such as the12volt.com and bulldog.com will allow you to struggle through the installation. I installed this on a 2002 Ford Taurus. The installation of the basic start and unlock functions were not too difficult, but time consuming, requiring the connecting of quiet a few wires, two of which were in the engine compartment (tach and hood release). Cleanly running wires from the interior through the firewall took some effort. Enabling some more advanced functions such as the trunk release and dome lights to come on when the unlock is done was a little more involved, requiring additional relays and diodes to protect the 200ma current max provided by the aux outputs. The relay was needed for the trunk release since the existing car button engaged the solenoid directly, which would fry the aux output. The "dome supervision" signal was difficult to access in this particular vehicle so I instead diode isolated (from each other) the door trigger and unlock signal and added a relay to pull these signals down when the unlock signal from the unit was sent. This allowed the activation of the interior lights when the unlock button on the remove was pressed. I Still have an aux2 output that I have not taken advantage of and could potentially use it to control something else.

I installed an Ultrastart U1272 in my truck, 3 years ago. I purchase another at Christmas time and installed it in my daughter's car. I have installed five or six remort start systems and I like the Ultrastart the best. It has a long range, which is VERY important, plus it has the ability to program a "security" start. This requires you to press the start button, twice to start the vehicle. This is importand when you have a 'long range' unit, otherwise you are unintentionally starting the vehicle as you walk through the house (with your keys in you pocket). I love the SIR-PNP3 so much that I immediately bought a second one. And then a third one, two months later! The PNP3 is the 3rd generation of this Audiovox Sirius "shuttle" receiver, and SIRIUS and Audiovox have hit a grand slam home run with the PNP3. The display on the PNP3 is the brightest and clearest of any SIRIUS (or XM receiver) that I've seen. I haven't listened to AM or FM at all since I started my SIRIUS subscription. I use the Audiovox SIR-PNP3 both in the car and the home. The wireless FM transmitter is of high quality and mighty: You can set up the PNP3 in one room, and simultaneously listen to SIRIUS through any and all of your FM radio receivers located in nearby rooms, (at broadcast distances of upwards of 100 feet in my experience.) And, if you are someone who doesn't yet know much about satellite radio: SIRIUS is better than XM: Absolutely True!

If you don't own a Sirius radio yet may I suggest you log on to your favorite electronic store site now and buy one. I got my PNP3 today, hooked it up in my Eclipse in about 15 mins, ran the antenna wire in less than that, logged onto the Sirius site to activate and have been listening to pretty much anything I want ever since.

(For those with an Eclipse here is a tip for install, I had a tough time finding a location for the radio and finally realized I could drill two small mounting holes right into the ashtray and bolted it right to the lid of the tray. Once it was bolted on and the angle was adjusted, I placed the ashtray back into the holder and voila! a nice mounting location and no damage to any expensive parts so when I sell the car all I have to do is replace the cheap ashtray.

Wiring the antenna was a sinch-rear roof mounted it, ran the wire into the car through the hatchback and then easily tucked it into the headliner and ran it along the rubber molding, inside the fuse box to get it under the dash and then ran it along the underside of the existing dash wiring and into the center console. )

Anyhow, the sound is superior to the regular FM radio even when using the modulator. This little unit really sounds great. Not the Audiovox of my younger years by any means. This is a very good quality product. Channel choices are nice and the display options are great-you can view channel choices by channel name or you can view the artist and/or song that is playing on each channel so you can decide what you want to listen to at that moment.

The unit has very user-friendly and logical functions. It's compact size forces some buttons to be a bit small, but not to the point of being unusable by any means.

I took a drive tonight to test it out and the stations were rock solid-I live in a rural area. Reception around my town and in the country didn't fade once. I can't wait to hear Howard on Sirius along with the many other talk shows, comedy shows, special news shows and, of course, music. This is amazing technology at an amazingly low price. GET ONE NOW!!!!

The PNP3 has a 2.5 G chip that does not burn as hot as the PNP2 (you'll notice the difference after the radio is on for several hours), the screen is a bit larger (great for viewing across the room), , 2 different fonts you can use, it's a LOT sleeker than the PNP2. I think the most beneficial change is that the remote allows you to work the volume, where they the previous you had keep getting up to change it. Plus you can dim the brightness of the screen or set it for auto dim.

You go to category and just scroll (using remote or right on the receiver) through the categories and right at the end after traffic (or before pop as you can scroll backwords) Sirius AUTOMATICALLY lumps the current games being played into the league (example all the NFL games on one screen, NBA on another, NCAA on another, and so on). Then you highlight the game you want info on and it'll show you. All of this without changing the current channel on or missing a beat of the music! And if you like the game, you just hit the select button and you go to that game on Sirius! So no more switching through channels to see what channel that game is on or wondering the score. Just go to the Sirius game zone and you'll find out that information right away!

Sirius Satallite Radio is probably one of the best purchases I've made in years. This has something for everyone..even truck drivers. What I like about it is the commercial free, uncensored music and of course Howard Stern.

the reciever gets warm, which I thought was a bit weird. Other than that I had no problem with it. The reception however, is horrible and drove me absolutly nuts. dont bother purchasing Sirius without an antenna. I purchased the Terk SIR6 Outdoor Home Antenna and I'll update it on how it improved

UPDATE: Reception is horrible where I live...even with the new antenna...if you live in an area with trees, and you have no roof access, dont bother getting sirius satallite radio. Pisses me off that I didnt do the homework that I should have before I bought all of this

I purchased this receiver just after Christmas and I couldn't be happier. Extremely user friendly once installed(which is good because the manual is somewhat confusing). I especially like the scrolling knob and simple remote that makes things easy. I installed the antenna right on my dashboard up near the front of the windshield and I have perfect reception (I'm in the St. Louis metro area). I recommend purchasing the home kit as well. I did and I have it using the FM modulator to use around my home and I'm able to receive a strong signal throughout most of my home. Beware, however, that this is a discontinued product so the accessories are limited...and once they're gone, that's it. I'm also very happy with the Sirius programming. Great music selection as well as talk,news and entertainment. I believe satelite is still in its infancy and will continue to get bigger and better. Good luck and hope this helps.

My requirement for this product was being able to export GPS tracking logs and the HD camera. Honestly, having two cameras was a bonus.

Good:

1. This product was very easy to use and install. It will start when it senses power on and will automatically shut down after power-off. Minor issue was the device initially powered on with Russian as its default language, so there was some difficulty in understanding the on-screen dialogs.

2. The proprietary program does a good job of exporting the videos and a Google Earth KML file of the track logs.

3. The fields of view are quite wide and clear at the edges.

Bad:

1. The proprietary viewer program is the real downfall of this device, especially as exporting is the requirement. The camera will format the SD card and then install the viewer program onto the card, which will then allow viewing the files. However, the program requires a minimum 4 GB card and will format it with a hidden partition, which is where all of the data is stored. Thus, the proprietary program is the only way to get to the data.

2. The micro SD form factor is difficult to find suitable cards locally and even harder to keep track of.

3. There are two cameras on this unit, one facing forward and one facing the interior of the car. Each captures a 640x480 image and this device is "HD" only in the sense that both images displayed together make it HD. Thus, the saved, exported output is only an AVI file with its own manipulation problems.

Improvements / Wish List:

1. Get rid of the proprietary program and allow generic output formats.

2. Improve the GPS system such that an external antenna is no longer required. This is problematic in final installation with hiding the cable.

Bottom line:

I would recommend this device, given it limitations, and rate it at only three stars because of that proprietary program limitation. Otherwise, the device meets my requirements.

Adding to the last review, I figured a way to extract the video files off the SD card. The video files are AVI and stored in a "unseeable" partition that windows will not display. Using a free file recovery software ( I used TestDisk ), I was able to pull all the videos off the disk. The are stored in 2min blocks, with numbering that increases.

Overeall this unit works great for what I need it for. The windshield suction cup mount is huge and in my opinion, is a vision impairment so Im working on a "homemade" mount that will put it up by the rear-view mirror and out of the way.

This gauge works well and is easy to read. It seats well and does mostly what it should.

There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding from what I have read in other reviews. Let's clear a few things up.

First of all, you do NOT have to wait ten seconds between readings. You DO have to hit the recall button on the bottom between readings.

Secondly, you DO NOT have to send the unit back to replace the batteries. The instructions VERY clearly state the model number of user replaceable batteries (if you were to read the instructions).

The hose was flexible for me in 30 degree weather contrary to what I have read elsewhere. Maybe it gets stiff in really cold weather but then I use mine in the garage.

Very Nice Gauge

I had the same problem described by R. Nielsen. The gauge would not take a new reading after I pressed the release valve to let air out. It only took a new reading if it was removed from the tire completely and reconnected. I called the manufacturer, who told me that it sounded like a problem and that I should return the gauge to them for a replacement. I returned it to Amazon as defective and got a new one with the same problem. I contacted the manufacturer again and they again asked me to send the gauge in for a replacement. I have sent the gauge to the manufacturer at my expense. The second replacement also had the problem. Customer service told me that they had sent the second replacement from the wrong batch/crate.

Six weeks later (November 27th) I received a properly functioning gauge. So it seems that a properly manufactured example of this gauge really does work properly. There was just a very large run of defective ones. At this point, I would give this item 3 stars: 4 for performance and price, minus one for the hassle involved in getting one that isn't defective.

I like this gauge. For the price, it is efficient and accurate. Yes the hose is a bit stiff, but hardly more than a minor annoyance. As for any leaks, I have had none (so far). The fitting over the tire valve stem seems just fine to me. Just get it on snugly; grips the stem just fine. I also simply bleed the pressure out of the gauge between readings and all is good to go for the next reading, so not sure what others here are talking about when they say they need to press the recall button. I only use that for calibration. In addition, I do not understand what one other reviewer was referring to when having to wait 10 seconds between reads... As I bleed, sure, the pressure reading is not accurate, but once you stop the bleeding while using the bleed valve, the current pressure is immediately updated for me...

Overall, definitely recommended, at least for now. If that changes, I'll be sure to update here.

December 7, 2010 UPDATE: 3 years later, this is still working flawlessly! No leaks, battery still good.

May 6, 2012 UPDATE: Still working great; almost 5 years owning it. I did have to replace the batteries in late 2011.

After reading the other reviews here on Amazon I was a little apprehensive. It did appear that the more negative reviews were the older ones. The company that makes the gauge itself has also switched hands so I took a chance.

The gauge is fast and accurate. You have both a digital readout and a bar readout around the circumference that is reminiscent of an analog gauge. The digital readout gives you a reading to a tenth of a pound and is MUCH larger and easier to read than the bar around the outside edge. The readout changes on the fly even while bleeding air. The hose is very soft and flexible. The connection on the end is awesome. The seal is great. Not ONCE have I bleed air unintentionally while trying to make a seal. The clip is solid. You can clip it on to the stem and let go and it holds on tight. The blue backlighting is bright and even.

I have no idea why you would want to clip it on and monitor the pressure for more than a second but you can if you like. The hose also remains pressurized after you disconnect it from the tire. This permits you to stare at the reading for up to one full minute. You can tap the bleed valve to reset the gauge or just plug it into the next tire and the pressure equalizes with the tire to give you the new reading. You do not have to hit a reset button (The reset button picture in the product image is now just the ON button. There is no reset button). The only time you have to press the bleed valve to get a reading is if you leave pressure in the hose and let the device go into standby while still pressurized. When you turn it on with pressure in the hose the display reads "BL" prompting you to press the bleed valve before taking a reading.

The bleed valve button is easily usable while holding the gauge in the left hand. It does not bleed air terribly fast but you are apparently considering the purchase of a tire pressure gauge with a decimal point; you are obviously are O-C-D enough to want to do it right. Of course the readout is not accurate while it is bleeding. Is an analog gauge? No. You have to let the bleed valve close to get an accurate reading.

The flexible hose is a blessing and a nuisance. It's great because it allows you hold the gauge comfortably and easily see the readout when the tire stem is in an awkward position. On the downside it means you have to use two hands to take a reading. My old gauge was a little one piece analog number that allowed me to press it to the tire stem while holding the compressor hose in the other. On the whole the benefit outweighs the disadvantage for me.

The gauge is larger than I expected. Including the rubber grip/padding around the outside it is about 2 and 5/8 inches across and 1 and 3/8 inches deep. I'm a six foot tall guy and it fits very comfortably in my hand. It may be too large to hold solidly if you have small hands. The hose is 12 inches long which sounds unnecessary but it's actually just right.

Lastly... It's an LCD display. This means that it's polarized. It is viewable from all normal angles. It is not visible when viewing from a steep angle above or from very steep angles on the sides or from below. You can't see it if you're wearing polarized sunglasses. It's far from a problem. You will not have trouble reading the display under any normal circumstances.

Final thoughts: It's a quality product. Buy it.

To be honest I had second thoughts of getting this gauge because of a lot of negative reviews, glad I discounted them, either because some seem not to know how to operate the gauge or some earlier units had some battery troubles, maybe the fault lays of listing the "oldest reviews" before the newest.

I will admit I am somewhat anal about pressure in my tires maybe because being a motorcycle rider for the last 30 years or because I just brought new tires for my car for $120 a piece filled with free nitrogen, I wanted to see if the nitrogen pressure did hold until the next tire rotation, (8,000 miles) see if it drops any less than plain air, it holds way better than regular air, less than 1/2 lb.

This gauge is really made well, works flawlessly, so easy to read with that blue digital screen, seems accurate I mean reading in tenths of a pound !

One of the best things about it ? the only tire pressure gauge I ever owned that doesn't lose air from the tire as you set the valve on the stem of the tire, this is a first for me, all gauges leak a bit when setting on valve, not this one, I just hold it on a read the gauge, one might hear the tiniest of a hiss when releasing the valve and hose off the tire valve, truly amazing, I love this gauge I would have paid $50 for it !

The only gauge one needs, remember up to 60 lbs, psi, if one has to measure tire pressure of 61 or higher forget this gauge it's made to read up to 60 lbs, anything more which I tried, the screen doesn't even light up over 60 lbs. (they should make a different model to read above 60 lbs, for large work vans and large suv's) check your air pressure "plate" mounted in all cars, trucks, driver side door frame, this is what you need to put in the tires on your model car, if you have the same type tires, never use the MAX air pressure, stamped on the tire side wall your checking.

Remember this gauge has a timer on it, if one takes too long going from the front to the rear of the car, unscrewing the tire valves, bleeding out the air from the last tire you checed, it will "time-out" the unit will turn off, you must turn on the gauge, button at top of gauge, at this point make sure your reading 0.0, if your not press on the "bleeder valve" to make sure all the air is out ! if you hold or push it too long it switches from psi to metric, easy to flip back, just hold it a little longer, one other tip, again make sure you "bleed out" all the air of the tire you just got a reading on, before you test the next tire, tire gauge must read "0.0" lbs to check pressure, pretty simple enough !
