The circular port where the wire connecting the solar panel to the rest of the system is broken, meaning that we can't get any power from the solar panels. We still have a few weeks until our departure to a rural area so we still have time to get the product replaced. We tried to fix it ourselves, but to no avail. The box also came dented. We haven't had a chance to test it yet, but two stars in the hopes that it will ultimately work as expected.
It is just an OK product. If your outlet is mounted on the console, then it's great, but mine is on the front panel. The weight from the phone makes it sag, and then it doesn't stay secure in the outlet. I have maneuvered it to lay flatter on the console, but now I can't see it as well. However, for the purpose of charging and having handy while I'm in the car, it's good.

This universal smartphone car charger is very convenient. It comes with a phone holder, so you don't need to buy one separately, nor do you need one of those sticky pads on which to place the phone holder. Just stick the entire thing into your cigarette lighter (is that the still common term for those?). Like all the other say, it's hard for the power to stay connected even though firmly inserted into the socket. It looks like the manufacturer tried to fix it with some rubber gasket-like additions, but it didn't work very well. Also the pivot screw doesn't tighten down so that its position remains firm. Don't get me wrong, it's secure, but when tapping away on my phone the overall position changes and I have to 'fix' it when I'm done messing with it.

Ive seen these things go through years of systematic abuse. Dragged on pavement, slammed, dropped endless times on concrete, and fiercely cussed because they simply ran out of grease. I saw a fellow smash his toe, and out of pure rage, he went completely insane and threw one of these things into a solid block wall not 4 feet away. It survived, having already suffered at least 3 years of abuse by numerous other people. The plastic part surrounding the motor is vulnerable, i have seen them break. I finally bought one. I have no regrets or complaints. Nothing cheap looking, sounding, or acting about them. Very nice set in a rugged, attractive carrying case. Nothing you would want to put in your wife's stocking or buy your girlfriend on her birthday, but definitely a nice addition in the guys garage. These are exceptional grease guns and I do recomment one. I dont know much about the other brands but if its not a Lincoln, then I just don't care. This tool makes greasing equipment so much more enjoyable! This is the second Lincoln PowerLuber I've owned. The first went along with the rest of my construction equipment when I sold my excavation business. I have a couple of tractors and hated having to hold the grease tip on the fitting with one hand while trying to pump the handle with the other. Not a problem now. Also, in cold weather, or with stubborn fittings, the gun puts out more pressure than lever or hand pump guns. I recommend it. The 12 volt unit works fine for residential or small farm use. The 18 volt is best if you own more than a couple of pieces of equipment.
My worn out key fob battery died, so while searching for a new battery, I found this. At just about three times the price of the battery, you can have a new key fob. The thing will need supervision because it is non-descriminatory. It will over-charge your product, but what I like most about it is that it will always deliver voltage. So dead batteries can be charged, a trickle charge battery will only turn on if it senses 60% of the batteries full voltage.
I purchased this battery in March of 2008 and the battery is now dead as of January 2009. I contacted Optima to attempt to arrange a warranty exchange, and they passed the buck by directing me to contact Amazon, to which I was told that they would not honor a warranty exchange, or refund on account of the shipping restriction they have on this item. I am now stuck with a $150 paperweight on my workbench, and have since replaced my battery with an OEM style replacement battery from my local auto store that will actually honor my warranty should I need to use it.

I refused to accept delivery of this item. It was shipped with absolutely no protection. No padding, no box, nothing but a wrap of plastic to hold the spacer in place. Battery died after 20 months. After calling Amazon I discovered that Amazon does not honor any warranty on this battery. Optima doesn't either! Local shops don't either! I had to replace the battery locally, but next time I'll at least have a warranty. DON'T BUY THIS BATTERY ON-LINE!!!!!
Initially impressed but jack failed after three trips and seven months. Jack was never exposed to weather and is only lifting 300 lbs of tongue weight. Seems to be the switch as power gets to it but not out.

This is a must have if you have a heavy trailer, or a weight distribution hitch that requires you to lift the back of your vehicle up to hitch. This one will do the job. It is very quiet. Seller shipped and I recieved quickly.
These are not as good as the Weathertech molded floor mats, but they do protect the floor well. Weathertech doesn't make the molded mats for my older truck I just purchased, unfortunately. They're cheaper at least.
