Blinc M2 Bluetooth Helmet Communication Module with FM Tuner

Blinc M2 Bluetooth Helmet Communication Module with FM TunerBasically, it does what it says. It just works. I have mine paired with my DroidX and use WinAmp for music. I have it mounted in/on a Scorpion EXO-1000 sublim helmet. Any problems I've had have been with the device it's paired with, not the M2 itself. As others have stated, the FM tuner doesn't lock onto stations very well, and the few it does, they fade out fast.

Volume is very good, even at high speeds. My advice if you have low volume is to turn the device up all the way, then adjust the volume with the buttons on the top/bottom of the M2.

To others who get this that don't use the helmet clip and actually stick this directly to the helmet as I did, if you have a problem with the clip not locking, take something with a pointy tip and use it to "clean out" the "channel" that the clip hooks over on the M2 itself. I almost lost mine on the highway. Cleaning that channel out made it lock back in w/out a problem.

Two minor complaints:

1 When you turn on the M2, there's a horrifically loud beep through the headphones. It's deafening, and VCan has confirmed there's no way to turn it off or down. My solution is to not pair the device or turn it off when I have the helmet on. :)

2 It has a proprietary charging connector, so make sure you bring the charger with you when you hit the road!! VCan please standardize the charge connector to Mini USB or something. It's awful to be stranded w/ no way to charge this or even go out and buy a charger!

EDIT (6/13/2012) some further advice:

1 Mount the device to the left side of your helmet unless you have cruise control.

2 if you use an android phone with this, when you pair a bluetooth audio device, sometimes the volume gets "stuck" at odd levels. The only way to correct that is to start playing a music track, then turn the phone Bluetooth audio all the way up, then all the way down, then set the listening volume to all the way up. In other words, sometimes the phone needs to know the high a low volume points. If you're doing it with the helmet on, make sure you turn the VCan device volume down first.

This little guy is SUPER easy to install and sounds great. the music from my phone is super loud. the radio is super loud. the phone in it... I couldn't believe it, even with the super loud pipes on my bike people can still understand me. it's crazy! I love this thing! Totally worth the money. On a side note, sometimes my phone locks up but I don't think it's related to the M2. It's one good reason to get the FM radio version. Just so you don't have to stop and check things.

Also, I should add that 31 days after I got it, the left side stopped working but Amazon shipped a new one overnight free of charge.

I saw the promo video and was impressed. I ordered two units and installed them on the helmets. One fit well without the adhesive. The other required the adhesive (which I didn't want to use). The sound from my MP3 was great and I was impressed. However, the communication between the two units is horrible. You have to max out the volume and you get an echo effect; if you can hear the other person at all.

Both of the units have a problem getting the plug from the microphone/speakers to stay properly plugged into the main unit. If they are not plugged in all of the way, the sound does not play for both ear speakers. It usually will only have sound in one unless you press and hold the plug into the main unit. In addition, the unit has a hard time staying place in the mounting device connected to the helmet. It comes out too easily. I have not checked other brands, but I was disappointed to find that it only has a 90 day warranty. I would expect the typical year as most products have. I would not buy these if I could do it over again.

I purchased this about 2 weeks ago and thought I'd write about my experiences. Overall the unit is good. 95% of the time it does exactly what i want it to. Installation was a breeze. Took about 5 mins on my Scorpion Exo. My friends PGR helmet took a little longer but mostly due to the helmet, not the device. It comes with a quick clip and a more permanent adhesive attachment. I chose the clip just so i have the option to take it off. With the adhesive is it still possible to remove the device for security reasons. Looks great on my flat black helmet.

Music sounds great, calls are so-so. I can hear the music decently at 65+mph without a windshield. Calls are great up until about 60+ then the wind drowns them out unless the caller is screaming. When receiving a call it doesnt let you know who is calling(minor inconvenience, sure some phones will allow this). The controls are ok. Changing songs and volume is easy, just wish the volume buttons were larger; hard to press with gloves on. I also wish the unit had a dedicated pause/play button. The instructions say to hold the main button for 2 secs to pause and hit it again to resume music. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. I've had it pause for a second and continue playing for no reason. I usually turn it on, then press play on my phone before riding.

The battery life is fairly good. I generally get a full day of music without having to recharge. It does drain my phones battery fairly quickly, but that's to be expected with Bluetooth.

I have not paired it with a GPS unit yet, just the one on my phone but my buddy has had good reviews from that.

Both units seem to randomly freeze, which is highly annoying. it will freeze on and not play anything or turn off. When this happens, you have to restart it with the little clip they give you or let the battery drain to empty. Doing the restart causes it to forget your phone which is annoying. I forgot my clip when I was out riding one day and had to let it drain (which took all day) and recharge it that night. This seems to be a constant issue with these, from what I've read on forums. So returning it for a new one seems to not be any help. To sum up:

Pros:

music sound

battery life

ease of install

aesthetics

able to sync multiple items at once

waterproof

small and easily removable.

cons:

phone call sounds

volume buttons are tiny(not much of con, just prefer them to be bigger)

No dedicated pause/play button

Randomly freezes and is a pain to reset.

I purchased 2 of these and I feel it was worth the money. I can hear the music at highway speeds clearly. However, the intercom function is a different story. It works well up to about 40-50 mph, then there is a lot of distortion. Overall I am pleased with my purchase, and I would recommend this product to others. By the way, I have full faced helmets.

VCT VP-6 Adapter Plug for Australia & New Zealand - Black Angled Polarized

VCT VP-6 Adapter Plug for Australia & New Zealand - Black Angled PolarizedThis plug adapter worked well and served it's purpose to allow me to use my US electronics while vacationing in Sydney. Be aware though, that it will not convert the voltage. You must check your electronics to be sure they will convert 120V/240V. Most newer laptops, cameras, and phone chargers will do this for you; therefore, this adapter will work great with those to simply be able to plug them in the wall.

Be aware that electronics like hair dryers and curling irons will need a different adapter that will convert voltage from 240V (Asia) to 120V (USA).

I used this to connect my laptop to Austrilian plugs during my few trips there. Every time it worked great with good grip. I have no complaints. And it is cheaper than rivals.

It's simple and it works. Most of all, it's not overly bulky. My only complaint is that you can't get a very tight fit between the adapter and the appliance, so it falls out easily.

I have seen far worse adapters then these, and also far cheaper ones too(unfortunetely these were in South America, so I cannot get them anymore)these even though chinese, seem solid. Both ends fit ok, do not wobble or are loose. Delivery OK, no problems.

Fishman PRO-EQ Platinum Bass Preamp/EQ/DI

Fishman PRO-EQ Platinum Bass Preamp/EQ/DI
  • Outputs: Main, XLR main, Tuner/Send
  • Depth control
  • Compressor, 5-band EQ
  • Operates on 9V battery or optional AC adapter

I've owned this unit for about a year and I absolutely love it. First of all, it's built like a tank; MUCH sturdier than I expected, and heavy so it stays in place wherever you put it. This is a very well designed eq. So far I've only used it for a passive electric bass, but it allows me to use only this and a power amp; ANY old power amp (that old stereo, for example, or I use it with my tiny Crate power block), and get a great sound and full function. Most stomp box eq's don't allow for this, because they aren't an actual preamp. But this is, so you can plug it directly into a power amp. This has all the essentials and nothing extra. Excellent compressor, phase switch to cut feedback on an acoustic bass (genius!), pre/post on the xlr out with a ground lift; so it's a direct box too. Great voicing on the eq. This unit is first class in design, function and build quality, and I'm about to buy a spare. Even the battery box is the best design I've ever seen. You don't need an expensive bass amp, just get this and a power amp! Jim Parfitt, Seattle

Buy Fishman PRO-EQ Platinum Bass Preamp/EQ/DI Now

This is a great DI box if you are looking for something that complements your bass without coloring the sound. I play a fairly clean sound with NS Design EUB, Warwick Thumb, etc. I use a Demeter HBP-1 when I use an amp, which is warm but clean. I can say that the Fishman Pro-EQ Platinum Bass accurately reproduces my instruments' sound without overly coloring the sound. It is warm, and the compression in the DI box is a great feature. If you are looking for something that will make your bass sound like it is running through an overdriven SVT this is not the box. It is a very well balanced DI with the right controls for getting a bass to sound natural and full through the house. If you want to color your sound or are going for the sound of a particular amp, then go with a Sansamp or one of the other capable boxes built for that purpose. This box seems built with clean bass and upright bass in mind.

I bought one of these Fishman PRO-EQ Platinum Bas Preamps about three years ago, planning to use the EQ, Compression and "Depth" (high-pass filter) features to improve the sound of my odd acoustic bass. It's an upright guitarrón, very much modified from the Mariachi configuration. It is tuned E1-A1-D2-G2-C3-F3, straight across in fourths, like a double bass. It has three piezo transducers for its six strings. The original guitarrón sound with round-wound strings was kind of a twangy thump. But I now have settled on Rotosound 88 TruBass strings, which are black nylon-wrapped flat wounds that give it a dark, thumpy sound, but with plenty of sustain when I want it. Recognizing that my upright guitarrón will never sound LIKE a double bass, the idea is to get it to sound as much like one as possible. The Fishman preamp is a big help toward that objective.

The Fishman has a warm, even tone that seems to smooth out the rough spots in my instrument, which tended toward having a boomy A1 open string. The setup is easy and sensible. After I had used the Fishman for about a year, I bought a Headway EDB-1, which has even more controls, including a notch filter that I thought would be even more effective on my A1 string. After trying the Headway for another year, I went back to my Fishman. I just could not achieve the evenness of tone with the Headway, despite its more detailed features. And the Headway did not produce the warm tone that I had missed in my Fishman. My instrument through the Fishman sounds better into all my combo-amps, whatever their size and power. And, as others have mentioned, the Fishman has a heavy and sold feel, despite being made of plastic (it feels like heavy, high-impact plastic).

So, I'll be selling the Headway, and I've already bought a second Fishman for backup.

Want Fishman PRO-EQ Platinum Bass Preamp/EQ/DI Discount?

After several performances I have found the Fishman Platinum Bass pedal to be very effective at controlling feedback. We frequently play fairly loud music with drums banging away; I need gainy, big bass sound from my upright to settle effectively in the mix. With this pedal I can find a good mix of compression and sustain control that really limits the feedback while maintaining a moderately natural sound. The highs still come through, as well. As is usually the case, when I'm too close to my amplifier and I play arco there still tend to be some feedback problems, but this is extremely difficult to curtail. All-in-all a great little box for a reasonable price.

Auto Socket Duplicator 5 in 1 Car Charger - 4 port 12V DC Plus USB Port

Auto Socket Duplicator 5 in 1 Car Charger - 4 port 12V DC Plus USB Port
  • Plugs into car cigarette lighter! 1-into-4 12V DC auto adapter, Simultaneously power or charge four devices!
  • Includes adapter plug, 50" cord and bracket for mounting anywhere in your car
  • One USB port with 5 Volt/ 1 Amp output to charge USB compatible devices
  • Built in fuse for circuit protection
  • 2 Year warranty

Only had this for a little over a week now, but it appears to be a solid splitter. The long cord provides the length necessary to power back seat devices from the dashboard panel. I have powered two portable DVD players, an iPhone (via USB port) and a GPS on it simultaneously and have seen no issues so far. Both the housing and extension cord appear rugged and sturdy. Port caps are fixed to the housing, so there are not "pieces/parts" to lose or misplace. Highly recommended.

Buy Auto Socket Duplicator 5 in 1 Car Charger - 4 port 12V DC Plus USB Port Now

I bought this to replace the Vision 3-way adapter which fell apart after just a few weeks of use. As soon as this one arrived, I knew it would be different. This is not cheap plastic and gimmicky blue LEDs. This feels like an appliance, not a gadget. It's solid and heavy, not particularly pretty, and has a serious power cord with an easy-access fuse right in the plug. I'm using it to power and charge a GPS, an FM transmitter, a Bluetooth headset, and a smart phone. Everything works perfectly. This unit seems well-insulated, too; the FM transmitter gets much cleaner sound when plugged into this than it ever did in my old splitter.

One star off for putting the USB port in the back. When installed inside the cubby in my dashboard, the back is not accessible at all. It's not a big deal for me, because I just put a little USB adapter in one of the lighter ports, but it's a dumb design. One other note: I didn't use the mounting plate (the spot is tight enough that it doesn't need it) but the included screws look like they're way too short for the job. A few times pushing and pulling on plugs, they would rip right out of whatever you had screwed them into. So, if you plan to mount this with screws, I recommend buying better ones.

All-in-all, I'm very satisfied.

I got this so I can plug in more than 1 thing and to not have cords running up the center of the dash. Works fine, just wish it had more mounting options. There is a plate that snaps on the back which can be mounted using provided double sided tape or 4 very small screws. The USB port is on the bottom so if you are mounting it very low make sure there is enough clearance for the cord to plug in and curve back upward.

Works as advertised. I was powering (2) portable DVD players through the "lighter" ports and (1) Ipad using the USB.

I read through the reviews of many similar products and they all talked about fuses blowing. I've had 3 devices plugged in for a week straight without any problems or blown fuses. Great product.

Edit: I've had this plugged in constantly and occasionally taken it on trips in other people's cars and still no blown fuses since Oct. 2011.

Power Bright PW200-12 Power Inverter 200 Watt 12 Volt DC To 110 Volt AC

Power Bright PW200-12 Power Inverter 200 Watt 12 Volt DC To 110 Volt ACI own several inverters I've collected over the years. PB makes the best ones in my opinion and I own 3 of theirs.

PROS:

durable construction

quiet = fan only comes on when unit gets warm after initial power up

cool color :-)

CONS:

nope...nada....nothing here

Get this...you won't be sorry :-)

It's got an internal fan and heat sync system. The 10v and 0.1mA drop off protections where my selling points cause it's inverting from a 12V solar panel. Has good overload protection too, and is light weight.

Mine came in blue.

I have only used this once camping, but it powered everything we needed with no problem. We used a mattress pump and stereo at the same time with no issues. I have no idea how long the car battery would have lasted because I left the car on the whole time. What you can't see from the photo is that there is a car adapter wired directy into the unit. I was worried about this when I purchased it, but it was there.

Only reason i gave a four was its bulkiness. But this is absolutely a great device. It makes no noise at all in the car, unlike my old black and decker inverter. Charges very quickly and conveniently in the car. Two outlets are great. I would highly recomend this inverter if you need it for traveling.

Audiovox SIR-PNP3 Sirius Satellite Radio Receiver

Audiovox SIR-PNP3 Sirius Satellite Radio ReceiverI love the SIR-PNP3 so much that I immediately bought a second one. And then a third one, two months later! The PNP3 is the 3rd generation of this Audiovox Sirius "shuttle" receiver, and SIRIUS and Audiovox have hit a grand slam home run with the PNP3. The display on the PNP3 is the brightest and clearest of any SIRIUS (or XM receiver) that I've seen. I haven't listened to AM or FM at all since I started my SIRIUS subscription. I use the Audiovox SIR-PNP3 both in the car and the home. The wireless FM transmitter is of high quality and mighty: You can set up the PNP3 in one room, and simultaneously listen to SIRIUS through any and all of your FM radio receivers located in nearby rooms, (at broadcast distances of upwards of 100 feet in my experience.) And, if you are someone who doesn't yet know much about satellite radio: SIRIUS is better than XM: Absolutely True!

If you don't own a Sirius radio yet may I suggest you log on to your favorite electronic store site now and buy one. I got my PNP3 today, hooked it up in my Eclipse in about 15 mins, ran the antenna wire in less than that, logged onto the Sirius site to activate and have been listening to pretty much anything I want ever since.

(For those with an Eclipse here is a tip for install, I had a tough time finding a location for the radio and finally realized I could drill two small mounting holes right into the ashtray and bolted it right to the lid of the tray. Once it was bolted on and the angle was adjusted, I placed the ashtray back into the holder and voila! a nice mounting location and no damage to any expensive parts so when I sell the car all I have to do is replace the cheap ashtray.

Wiring the antenna was a sinch-rear roof mounted it, ran the wire into the car through the hatchback and then easily tucked it into the headliner and ran it along the rubber molding, inside the fuse box to get it under the dash and then ran it along the underside of the existing dash wiring and into the center console. )

Anyhow, the sound is superior to the regular FM radio even when using the modulator. This little unit really sounds great. Not the Audiovox of my younger years by any means. This is a very good quality product. Channel choices are nice and the display options are great-you can view channel choices by channel name or you can view the artist and/or song that is playing on each channel so you can decide what you want to listen to at that moment.

The unit has very user-friendly and logical functions. It's compact size forces some buttons to be a bit small, but not to the point of being unusable by any means.

I took a drive tonight to test it out and the stations were rock solid-I live in a rural area. Reception around my town and in the country didn't fade once. I can't wait to hear Howard on Sirius along with the many other talk shows, comedy shows, special news shows and, of course, music. This is amazing technology at an amazingly low price. GET ONE NOW!!!!

Buy Audiovox SIR-PNP3 Sirius Satellite Radio Receiver Now

A definate step up from the PNP2. The PNP3 has a 2.5 G chip that does not burn as hot as the PNP2 (you'll notice the difference after the radio is on for several hours), the screen is a bit larger (great for viewing across the room), , 2 different fonts you can use, it's a LOT sleeker than the PNP2. I think the most beneficial change is that the remote allows you to work the volume, where they the previous you had keep getting up to change it. Plus you can dim the brightness of the screen or set it for auto dim.

Sports fans will like this new feature. It has a "sports zone" (not this is not listed on the box or directions, BUT it's in EVERY PNP3) which allows you to view each and every NFL, NHL, NBA or NCAA game playing along with the current score, and current time in the game. ALL of this without even switching the currnet channel you're on! To view this, say suppose you're listening to something but are wondering what channelor the score a NBA or NFL (I'll use those two as an example) is on. You go to category and just scroll (using remote or right on the receiver) through the categories and right at the end after traffic (or before pop as you can scroll backwords) Sirius AUTOMATICALLY lumps the current games being played into the league (example all the NFL games on one screen, NBA on another, NCAA on another, and so on). Then you highlight the game you want info on and it'll show you. All of this without changing the current channel on or missing a beat of the music! And if you like the game, you just hit the select button and you go to that game on Sirius! So no more switching through channels to see what channel that game is on or wondering the score. Just go to the Sirius game zone and you'll find out that information right away!

And don't forget about Howard Stern coming Jan, 1, 2006 excusive to Sirius! Other talk programs include (but are not limited to) Jay Thomas, G. Gordon Liddy, Rusty Humphries, MAXIM Talk Channel, Out Q (Gay Talk channel), Air America, Tony Snow, Laura Ingram, and MANY more!!!

You want music? Sirius has EVERY TYPE of music you can think of commercial free! There is a 24/7 Elvis channel that broadcasts LIVE from Graceland 24/7, Top 20 hits, 5 different country music channels with varius types of country music, ten different Rock channels, Hip hop channels, Pop, classical, Jazz, dance, Latin&World and more!

You want news? There are ten differnet news channels including FOX news, CNN, NPR and more!

From England and miss English Soccer? Wake up early Saturday AM (time change has you up around 6:00 AM Eastern) and you'll hear LIVE games from Europe!

There are two differnet comedy channels which have nothing but comedy 24/7. One channel is a "clean" the other is "X" rated comedy.

The PNP3 has a Song Seek feature that allows you to mark your favorite songs so that anytime in the future the song is played on Sirius on ANY channel, it'll beep to let you know it's being played and what channel it's on!

There is also a FM Broadcast feature which allows the unit to broadcast on a FM frequency. Meaning you can have the receiver playing in one room, and in another room turn any FM radio onto a channel that's not used and listen to what's on your Sirius! Note you must select a FM channel that's not used in your area and the range for this is only a few rooms, but that's enough for most places. This feature is better in the PNP3 than in the PNP2 as with the PNP3 it's always on and easier to use and activate.

Did I mention the ability to store up to 31 preset stations? That's ten for A setting, ten for B setting and ten for C setting and one Jump station!

And a dimming or auto dim feature which allows you to set the screen brightness to your level of ease. Meaning if you like it bright or have sensative eyes and went it dim. Then you set it to your liking!

It has an alarm, snooze button, auto off so that you can go to sleep and have it turn off at a set time, and even a button to allow you to switch back to the previous channel you were on!

For travelers, there's a jump button that automatically seeks out travel information (detours, jamms, weather, etc.).

You'll also need either a homekit or carkit (depending on where you want to listen), or you can use the receiver both home and auto by simply removing it when you go home/car. OR you can purchase the SIRPBB3...the boombox for the PNP3...NOTE the SIRBB1-2 boombox will NOT fit this PNP3 as the connections are different.

Understand that this PNP3 uses a 2.5 G chip (the brains of the unit) and the PNP2 used a 2.0 chip. The 2.0 chips are not being made anymore, so that once all the PNP2 are gone, that's it. And again the reason is that the 2.5 G chips are made better to not get as hot and play better.

And I didn't even get into all the stations Sirius has! For a comlete listing, go to:

http://www.sirius.com

And look at the prices, you won't find any lower a price around than here!! Add all of this together along with Sirius programming and you have yourself one heck of a receiver!

Sirius Satallite Radio is probably one of the best purchases I've made in years. This has something for everyone..even truck drivers. What I like about it is the commercial free, uncensored music and of course Howard Stern.

the reciever gets warm, which I thought was a bit weird. Other than that I had no problem with it. The reception however, is horrible and drove me absolutly nuts. dont bother purchasing Sirius without an antenna. I purchased the Terk SIR6 Outdoor Home Antenna and I'll update it on how it improved

UPDATE: Reception is horrible where I live...even with the new antenna...if you live in an area with trees, and you have no roof access, dont bother getting sirius satallite radio. Pisses me off that I didnt do the homework that I should have before I bought all of this

I purchased this receiver just after Christmas and I couldn't be happier. Extremely user friendly once installed(which is good because the manual is somewhat confusing). I especially like the scrolling knob and simple remote that makes things easy. I installed the antenna right on my dashboard up near the front of the windshield and I have perfect reception (I'm in the St. Louis metro area). I recommend purchasing the home kit as well. I did and I have it using the FM modulator to use around my home and I'm able to receive a strong signal throughout most of my home. Beware, however, that this is a discontinued product so the accessories are limited...and once they're gone, that's it. I'm also very happy with the Sirius programming. Great music selection as well as talk, news and entertainment. I believe satelite is still in its infancy and will continue to get bigger and better. Good luck and hope this helps.

Mini Battery Charger Kit for Nikon EN-EL3a, EN-EL3e Fuji NP-150, Olympus BL-M1, BL-M5, Pentax D-LI5

Mini Battery Charger Kit for Nikon EN-EL3a, EN-EL3e Fuji NP-150, Olympus BL-M1, BL-M5, Pentax D-LI50 Batteries - with fold-in wall plug, car & EU adaptersI own two because I almost lost the first one. This charger has been to Africa, Ireland, and a good portion of the US with me. Worked great with both 120v and 220v. It's been more reliable than my Nikon supplied one. It's compact enough to fit in my camera case so I always have it.

I recommend it highly.

Based on reviews of product I thought this would be a great find. I was REALLY disappointed. Product seemed cheaply made. Tried to recharge two different ENEL3e batteries and neither would take a charge after leaving them plugged in for over 3 hours. I've been using Nikon batteries and charger for over 6years and never had any difficulty with Nikon battery chargers.

I was also disappointed in supplier SF Planet. I requested 1 day shipping and product was sent in soft Priority Mail envelope (rather than a box) which resulted in external product packaging being deformed. Supplier finally sent me return authorization but not after first suggesting an exchange and then asking me to describe what did't work?? After having paid for expedited shipping I chose not to pay to return product--it goes in trash.

Based on the other reviews of this product, perhaps I just got a lemon but based on my personal experience I would not recommend this product or make any future purchases from SF Planet.

I bought this based on reviews and price and am pleased so far. I use Nikon and off brand batteries. I haven't seen how long the charge lasts afterwards. But, I think it will be fine. Only the wall piece came. The other pieces pictured were not included.

Kicker 09ZCK44 Z-Series 4AWG Amplifier Kit with 4-Channel Interconnects ROHS Compliant

Kicker 09ZCK44 Z-Series 4AWG Amplifier Kit with 4-Channel Interconnects ROHS Compliant
  • Complete kits with Direct-Control components
  • Comes with Signal cables and 16 AWG Super Twist Speaker Wire

If you've been shopping around for a quality amp wiring kit, you probably know there are a lot of imitators out there. By that I mean companies selling "4-gauge" wire that really isn't 4 gauge.

This Kicker kit is the real deal. True 4 awg power/ground cables, true 16 awg speaker wires, and high quality RCAs. The cables are all OFC and super flexible I'm holding the ground cable in my hand now and can easily bend it 180 degrees in a 1 inch radius.

As is typical with Amazon, the item description is a bit lacking here's what you get:

20' of blue 4 awg power cable with a ring terminal and about 3' of tech flex installed on one end.

3' of grey 4 awg ground cable with a ring terminal installed on one end.

20' of grey 18 awg wire for the remote turn on.

16' of 4 channel twisted pair RCA cable.

60' of 16 awg blue/grey speaker wire.

An inline fuse holder with a 100A AFS fuse.

A firewall grommet (not the greatest available, but will do the job)

An assortment of cable ties, spade terminals, and disconnects.

Overall it's a high quality kit with just about everything you need to install an amp and upgrade your car's audio system. I spent who know how many hours looking at different brands and comparing products and 3 companies aways stood out Monster, Rockford Fosgate, and Kicker.

This Kicker kit gives you a ton of value for your dollar, even at the average price found on other websites--but this deal here on Amazon is a steal.

I actually needed two more channels, so I picked up another set of RCA's and one extra spool of speaker wire, but armed with this I had all components needed to do a complete install of one sub, 2 6x9's, and set of satellites for my Accord. Worth the price and I had piece of mind knowing that Kicker provided true 4 AWG wire. The kit was complete and I had the help of my brother and one other friend (none of us being mechanics) we were able to do a complete install in 2 days. There was no need to worry about having to run to the store and get something else. If you've ever worked on your house or car, then you know what that's like to realize you forgot something or need extra parts.

Odyssey PC535 Powersports Battery

Odyssey PC535 Powersports BatteryI put this into my BMW R1200R when the original battery started to develop a weakness. It works beautifully and strong. Never a problem in the past year in temperatures between 20F-100F. It adds to the faith I have in my motorcycle. This is not a direct fit but modifying the battery by cutting some plastic and bending the terminals was not an issue.

Strong battery and with slight modifications i am able to use this in my Suzuki M109r. plenty o' juice... I would buy again!

I bought this battery to replace the crappy battery that comes stock on my '08 BWM R1200GS motorcycle. And fortunately for me I replaced it just before a huge cold snap gripped Texas for more than a week (temps were hovering around 15F the whole week). Even though I let the bike sit in the parking lot for a week due to icy roads, when I finally got around to starting it in very cold weather it cranked without any hesitation. I know for a fact my original battery wouldn't even have clicked. I am one happy customer.

PA-1500 - Nakamichi 1200 Watt RMS Mono Digital Bass 1 Ohm Amplifier with Remote

PA-1500 - Nakamichi 1200 Watt RMS Mono Digital Bass 1 Ohm Amplifier with Remote
  • Includes Wired Bass Remote
  • 1200 Watts RMS Power Output
  • Bass EQ Built In
  • Extremely Efficient Digital Design

I'm an audiophile who's been gradually upgrading my gear and after hearing my friends big kenwood amp (1150w rms 1 ohm) running a Kicker CVX 12 sealed I decided I wanted to catch him up. I was hoping it would at least match his amp and it certainly did and then some!

The sound of the bass from this amp is very different to alot of amps I've heard. It really runs well even with the bass boost basically off as it doesn't seem to need it. It reproduces lower frequencies very well while keeping the sub nicely in control for the more musical higher bass like a bass guitar. It makes a friend of mine's JBL P1224 sound like a higher class of subwoofer than it is, especially when comparing it to his pioneer 600w rms (1 ohm stable) amp on it :) Couldn't be happier.

If you want audiophile quality bass with true 1200w rms volume (really feels like it delivers it) then this amp has got to be a great choice. I don't know how it compares to amps from people like JL audio but it certainly smokes the mainstream brands. Oh, and the build quality certainly doesn't let it down either!

This Nakamichi amp won't let you down.

This amp is incredible! I'm using it to push a 1400 watt 10' sub & it sound great. I've used 3 other amps in the past, but none possess the power this Nakamichi Amp has. The seperate sub control feature is cool to. This amp is truly a classic!

I just got this amp not long ago, finally have it wired and set up right. I am using it to push 3 10" old school JL Audio W6's wired to run at 1 ohm. This amp has plenty of CLEAN power. My system sounds great!!! A great buy for the price. I am probably going to order another for my other car, which will have two Sundown Audio SA-12's in a ported box wired to run 1 ohm, perfect for this amp. I beleive this will be a awesome combo.

Belkin F8Z414ttP AC Charger with Swivel Plug & Charge Sync Cable for iPod and iPhone

Belkin F8Z414ttP AC Charger with Swivel Plug & Charge Sync Cable for iPod and iPhone
  • Belkin F8Z414ttP iPhone AC Charger with Swivel Plug & Charge Sync Cable
  • Compatibility: Apple
  • iPod classic 120GB 160GB (2009) iPhone 3GS iPhone 4 iPod nano 5th generation (video camera) iPod touch 2nd generation - Mini-phone Male Stereo Audio - RCA Male Stereo Audio - 84" - Black
  • 1 x Mini-phone Male Stereo Audio
  • 2 x RCA Male Stereo Audio

Thinking about buying another iPhone charger?

1) Be careful to buy one that actually works (seriously). Apple has proprietary tech that each manufacturer licenses allowing the charger to communicate with the phone. Some cheapos don't incorporate the tech and wind up not actually charging the phone (for example, see this: USB Cable + Wall Charger for Apple Iphone 3g Ipod Touch Nano )

2) This charger is built out of (comparatively) high-quality materials and can hold up to being shoved in luggage/backpacks/purses/whatever

3) The cable can be used just by itself (has a USB end that goes into the wall plug)

4) The plug is ridiculously ginormous. I guess that's why it swivels, so this big hog can fit in a power strip regardless of plug orientation. (I assume they saved money making it so unnecessarily big.)

5) The connector firmly connects to the apple device (again quality build)

6) iPhone chargers are pricey, this is one of the cheapest that is built well

7) This one is eligible for Amazon Prime shipping

This is the second one of these I'm buying, because of price/value/reliability. I have both nicer and cheaper ones. Despite it's faults, this one seems "just right". 1 star off because the plug is so big.

I bought this charger for my iPod touch 4. I needed a wall charger for our trip to Europe. It worked perfectly! It charges the iPod much faster than the USB. I'm not sure if the faster charge affects battery life, though. Anyway, with a European plug adapter this charger worked just as well with Europe's 110 volt power as it does here. As a bonus the USB cord that comes with it seems to be of an even better quality than the Apple cord.

This is an 1amp charger, so it's not for an iPad. I got it for my iPod touch 4G. The cable that came with it is thicker like the other viewers said, and unlike some other Belkin cables, this one can be used for both charge and sync. The cable is a bit longer than the original apple one too. Overall this appears to be well made and worth what you paid for. Will update review if I should find it different after some use.

My son needed a second charger so he didn't have to worry about taking it between his parents' houses. This is great. I was tempted to buy the cheap ones, but I think it was well worth it to spend the money for a brand name. It's well made and transfers data well, too!

I bought this charger for having the convenience of an extra charger. I plugged in my iphone and overnight, the iphone was damaged beyond repair. Trying to talk to a human Belkin representative was next to impossible. I was moved around from customer service to sales to the technical support guys and then back to customer service. Amazon representative tried to help but didn't do much either. Do not buy this charger.

Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Speakerphone (Black, Retail Packaging)

Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth SpeakerphoneThis is a review for Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Speakerphone

I'm not one to take my time to write reviews, but after purchasing three of these speakerphones I thought maybe it would be helpful to tell you why this is the best speakerphone I have ever used.

We live in California and, by law, have to have our Cell Phones connected by Bluetooth if we use them in the car. I have probably used 4-5 different brands and configurations in the past 5 years all with mixed results, until I came across the Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Speakerphone. I really dislike using in-ear Bluetooth devices (for many reasons, but mainly because they interfere with hearing and make you look like a . . . . ). Speakerphones I have used in the past (including the less expensive Jabra products) seemed to never clearly pick-up my voice and transmit it to the caller. When I purchased my first Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Speakerphone (after reading a glowing CNET Review) I started using it as soon as I charged it for a couple of hours. It is the easiest, most user friendly product I have bought in a long time.

Getting up and running requires:

1. Charge unit (USB)

2. Turn on Cell Phone and put in pairing mode

3. Turn on Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Speakerphone it will find the phone and announce "Connected"

4. That's it, your done.

Now to use it you only have to do one thing and remember 2 words:

1. Attach the Speakerphone to your visor and turn it on.

2. Remember 2 words when it announces by name an incoming call. a) Answer (connects you to an incoming call) or b) Cancel (phone goes straight to you voice answer message).

It really is that easy. There is a lot more that the Speakerphone will do, and there is a one year subscription to a second party company that keeps all your contacts + more so you can call one number and transfer to anyone in your contacts, send text, etc. But you really don't need to know or use any of that.

Oh, I forgot, the main reason I like the Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Speakerphone is that my clients have no clue that I am even on a Bluetooth device when I talk to them in the car. No extraneous noise, no wind noise, just a clear voice. That, plus the ease of use is why I keep buying more of these and giving them to my wife, children, etc.

Did I mention that once you turn the Jabra Freeway on you don't have to touch/recharge it for a month or more (my experience, moderate use). It turns itself on when I get in the car, and turns itself off when I exit (motion detector).

Pros: All of the above. Plus, iTune music sounds pretty good through the 3 speakers and podcasts are great (you can also transmit the music/podcast to you FM radio) the Speakerphone "knows" to to stop the music/podcast if a call comes in.

Cons: It takes a couple of minutes for the speakerphone to turn-off automatically when you you leave the car. For a short time, if you are fairly close to the car (in you home or office) the unit still picks-up calls. This has happened to me only once, and my iPhone asks if I want to not use the Bluetooth on the screen, so it really is a minor annoyance.

I got the Freeway along with my iPhone 4S. It connected easily, and reconnects every time I get into my car. I sit down, and by the time I turn the ignition, it's reconnected (and lets you know by saying so). It works great as a speakerphone, callers sound good and I sound good to them. The volume goes up pretty high so you can still hear fine if you have a loud car. If you press and hold the big phone button for about 2 seconds, Siri will activate if you have it on your iPhone. Siri will use the Freeway's mic and speaker to talk to you. It's great to just press the button overhead and be able to have all of Siri's functions. If you're listening to music while you activate Siri, the music will fade out, and when you're done with it, the music fades back in.

Playing music is fairly mediocre through the speaker. While I didn't expect amazing sound out of the tiny package, it's hardly the amazing surround sound that Jabra advertises. Most songs are going to sound fine, but if you have anything with heavy bass, it gets pretty distorted. It's good enough to listen to music on my commute, and more than enough to listen to podcasts with.

The battery life is great, I seem to be getting the full 14 hours. Playing music counts as talk time, and when you check the battery status, the Freeway gives it to you in terms of talk time left. So if you have a full charge and drive a half hour with music, it'll tell you that you have 13 1/2 hours of talk time left. Since it shuts off soon after you get out of your car, it's not draining battery while idle.

As a side note, the unit won't shut up if you flip your visor down. I've never had it shut off on me while I had the visor flipped down facing both the windshield and the side window. You just have to be careful not to mash buttons when you're gripping the visor.

Overall it's good as a speakerphone, extension of Siri, and voice-only audio such as podcasts. Music could sound better, but I understand there's only so much you can get out of a tiny speaker. I haven't used any other Bluetooth speakerphones to compare this to, but I'm pretty happy with it.

Buy Jabra FREEWAY Bluetooth Speakerphone (Black, Retail Packaging) Now

The Jabra Freeway is very sleek and comes with a free and optional one-year subscription to VoiceAssist.

Setting the unit up was easy.

1. Before I could use the Jabra Freeway, I charged it for two hours using the supplied USB cable with car charger.

2. Next I made sure the cell phone was Bluetooth-enabled and turned on the Jabra unit.

3. It immediately went into pairing mode. As it is pairing with the phone device, the prompts on the phone needed to be followed and the supplied security code had to be entered (not everyone will have to enter a security code; it depends on the phone)

4. After this I began making and answering calls using voice commands, checking the battery power of the unit, etc. To make a call, I had to press the Voice button to wake up the unit and say "phone commands." If I was unsure of how to speak to the unit I would say "What can I say?" and it would give me options.

What I found very frustrating was:

1. Once I was done with a call, ending the call is not hands free. I couldn't say "hang-up, or cancel, or end" because that doesn't work. Instead I had to press the "answer end button" (which is the "phone icon" on the Jabra device) or end the call via the phone end button.

2. I also disliked having to press the Voice button every time I wanted to make a call because this meant it was not totally hands free. The only hands free part is if someone is calling you, the unit then automatically awakes and you can tell it to "answer" or "ignore" the incoming call.

3. Many times I asked the unit to make a call. Twice it brought up the EZ tip calculator, once it brought up the one-minute beep "application," and another time it brought up some other application on the phone that I didn't ask for. Another time I tried to call someone and instead it brought up the address book and rambled off both the mobile and work number without giving me the option to dial either one.

What I really loved was the optional VoiceAssist package even though I had difficulty getting this set up because the code to redeem the free one-year subscription was hidden underneath a sticker either Amazon or the manufacturer put on the box. However, VoiceAssist has the best live customer service around. In fact we called each other almost five times to get this situation resolved in a few hours. Hopefully, new purchasers won't have this experience where the offer code is hidden between stickers and impossible to read even after being held up to the light.

Below are the steps I took to get VoiceAssist to work:

1. I had to first redeem the free offer code on the box by going to [....].

2. Once signed in online to [....], I imported all my Gmail contacts into the VoiceAssist application and also set up a connection to my review_maven twitter account ([....]).

3. Once registered and after I cleaned up the Gmail import which had about an 85% accuracy rate, I then needed to program the number of 949-257-0923 under the name of VoiceAssist into the Bluetooth phone.

4. After this I had a lot of fun:

I used the Jabra unit to call VoiceAssist.

Once connected I used another set of VoiceAssist commands to "call" people in my contact list (they had to have a phone # in the Gmail contact listed that was imported), to "post to Twitter," to "read my e-mail" on Gmail--which it read very well (except it said it couldn't read the pictures), and to send an email, which it sent okay though some of my message was garbled. However, since an MP3 was attached to the email, the person receiving it could play that to get the full message.

The two posts to my Twitter account were okay, buy it got VoiceAssist wrong and typed voices instead and it typed Jabra as Java. You can look on the review_maven account to see the posts for May 28. 2011.

I didn't have the phone functionality to try the FM Transmitter or play music features of the Jabra device.

Below are some of the key features that I liked and some things I disliked:

PROS:

1. The Jabra unit is pretty easy to set up

2. The Jabra Freeway has a long battery life (about 14 to 17 hours)

3. You can pair two Bluetooth phones to the device with the last phone paired being the primary one

4. Jabra Freeway comes with a car charger for charging in your vehicle or with a 12Volt Battery Pack; the USB cable that is used to plug in the car adapter can be used without the adapter for charging with your PC

5. A free one-year subscription to VoiceAssist is supplied with purchase

6. Voice Assist understands commands better than the Jabra unit itself

7. I could check and send email and post to Twitter with VoiceAssist (Posting to Facebook is also possible.)

8. VoiceAssist provides SUPERB customer service.

CONS:

1. VoiceAssist setup was difficult and the instructions that came with the device did not tell you to program in the telephone number to VoiceAssist. Instead the Jabra instructions tell you to call VoiceAssist making you assume it's already pre-programed in the device.

2. Managing your contacts online in the VoiceAssist web site is somewhat cumbersome as the tool is in its infancy. For instance, every time I edited one of my 100+ contacts it kept going back to the first one after I saved the edit--then I had to scroll through the entire list again to go back to where I wanted to in the contact list.

3. Answer/End button is not intuitive on the Jabra unit (it's the phone icon on the Jabra Freeway); although the instructions do tell you where it's located.

4. The Jabra Freeway did not always understand my voice commands Voice Assist understood my commands much better but that still was not perfect)

5. Jabra is from the UK and only an automated help line is provided along with a website. Other than this you can send an email and wait for a response--no live support here

In summary, although Jabra will work with any Bluetooth phone, I did not feel I could get it to work exceptionally well with the Verizon LG phone I tried it with. I cannot be sure whether it was because of my or my boyfriend's voices (as we both tried it), the phone, or just the functionality of the device. Despite this, the Jabra Freeway is a very sleek unit and I felt that it responded better the more familiar I got with the device. In addition, the other reviewers are raving about the Freeway. Although VoiceAssist was not perfect, I absolutely loved that optional add-on.

Updated May 30, 2011 I sent an email to Jabra with two simple questions to see how responsive their email support was and I can tell you it's great. I sent it over the weekend and got a response this morning. The only thing that wasn't great was that one of my simple questions was answered wrong. I had asked where the answer/end button was and according to the manual it is the phone icon on the Jabra device; however the reponse I got was to "Slide the On/Off power switch to turn the speakerphone on or off" so the question was either misunderstood or the tech did not know the answer. I think it's the former.

Updated November 7, 2011 I recommended this to a former colleague and this is what he said about the device verbatim. "Regarding the Jabra device, it has worked very well. I will admit, I have not used any of the advanced features much (other than initially playing with them) as honestly I have not needed them. It has strictly been used as a straight bluetooth device and for that purpose it has worked extremely well. The speaker quality is above and beyond competing devices and the functionality (recognizing bluetooth connections regularly, turning off when it doesn't detect a device, etc) are features that are useful and allow it to stick out from the pack of competing devices. Overall, it has proven useful when I needed it."

I don't give 5 stars that often, but I love this thing.

The calls are very clear as advertised and they can hear me fine as well. It's fantastic being able to finally answer calls hands free in the car; no having to have an earpiece or anything.

I love that you can connect two Bluetooth devices at once; I don't have a smartphone, but I can connect my basic cellphone with Bluetooth to this device, as well as my iPod Touch to send music to it!

The size makes it great to take it with you anywhere and use it as a speakerphone/speakers at home.

It looks great on the sun visor of the car, as well on a desk.

There is also a built-in FM transmitter. Personally, the transmitter doesn't seem that much of an advancement to send a clear strong signal than other FM transmitters that I've owned (still getting a static or fuzzy sound on a higher volume), but still, it is definitely a nice bonus to have!

The device is also firmware upgradeable if there are any improvements in the future.

It uses a Micro USB to charge.

If you ever feel like using your cellphone in the car, when you think about the safety and traffic ticket costs, this product is a no brainer worthy investment. The versatility of this product being suitable for home use just makes it even better. Fantastic design.

Recommended.

Jabra I stand up and give you a standing ovation for the Jabra Freeway Speakerphone. I previously was using the Jabra CRUISER2 Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone but sadly had to give it up to my dear husband who refused to use a headset. I did not mind because this way I was able to acquire the newer model. The Jabra Freeway is the newest model since the Cruiser 2. It is a tad bit larger, but offers a few more features such as automatic turn on and off with the built-in motion sensor, and acoustically optimized HD quality microphones and surround sound speakers. You pretty much give all the commands by your voice. For example when you call comes in, you can just say "answer" or "ignore". If you want to make a call, just hit the "Voice" button once and say "phone commands", then say "call mobile". It is that easy. That is one big difference between the Cruiser 2 and the Freeway. With the Cruiser 2 you had to hold and count the seconds on the action button to make it do certain commands such as last redial or voice dial. With the Freeway everything is done with the touch of one button and I don't have to hold it for 1, 2 or 3 seconds!

I got so excited about talking about the actual usage of the speakerphone that I almost forgot to mention the setup. I am using it with the Verizon iPhone 4G and setup with so simple it took less than one minute. The automated programmed voice is very clear to hear and understand. This is the first time I have had to actually turn the volume down on a speakerphone because it was too loud! The sound is crystal clear. I really do not know how anyone can give this item a bad review unless it does not work with their particular brand of phone. in regards to the FM transmitter functions, it works as well as other types of transmitters I have tried. There is NO wireless FM transmitter out there that is not going to be static free. Think about, the only way is be able to be static free is to be directly plugged into your radio and not be "wirelessly". This speakerphone will be primarily used for phone calls and not for my the FM transmitter. I can hear perfectly loud and clear by the units speakers and have no need to be using it to play my iTunes music through it. the speakers alone will be sufficient for me to hear my calls loud and clearly.

Now lets get to the Voice Assist. Forget about it. Not worth it. I did sign up for it since it is a free trial offer for one-year but I don't see any use for it. I asked myself do I really need to urgently send someone a text message or post a status on Facebook? Is it that important that I can't wait till I am out of the car and on my computer, iPad or iPhone. I can wait I am not that important to be posting about my life's every moment for all to know. Also, what most might not realize is that you have to call a landline phone number that uses airtime off your cellular plan in order to use the Voice Assist. Signing up was not as much of a hassle as some made it sound. Just make sure to read the instructions on the Voice Assist website and you should have no problems. You have to download the firmware upload and apply it, THEN enter your UPC code after the firmware update is applied. This is for units purchased from Amazon ONLY.

YOU WILL LOVE THIS SPEAKERPHONE. I am curious to see what is next for Jabra since I can not imagine how something so perfect could be improved. Well now that I think about it, maybe they will come up with "Park Assist" on their next units. :-)

EDIT: I almost forgot to add one more thing. This comes with a really nice long micro USB cord. Not one of those "bungee" ones either. It is straight and long enough to fit plugged into a 12V that is inside my center console glovebox while charging the speakerphone still clipped to my sunvisor (while parked of course).

Powerbuilt 648539 Computer Memory KeeperThis product worked great but it is important to note that many newer cars don't supply power to the 12V outlet unless the car is in accessory mode. To do so, turn the key until only the radio turns on. Then, while leaving the key turned, turn the radio off (using the power button on the radio). Also turn off all headlights, dome lights, etc... You don't want any of these things taking power away from the ECM and radio preset memory.

If you aren't sure if your car has this issue, try plugging in something like a phone charger and see if it supplies power to the phone while the key is off.

I had a 2004 Lexus GX470 that needed a battery. I purchased a new battery at BJs but they do not install, so that task fell on me. I was concerned about losing the codes on the radio, etc with a battery swap. This little device got me through the job nicely. No lost codes.

Item was defective upon receipt. Wish it worked but it didn't. Bought another from different seller. Good concept, poor execution in the quality assurance department.

This item works, but seems to be under-powered. I live in a large urban area (Houston) where the FM dial is almost completely full and, as a result, this little unit has to fight through a ton of transmissions. Given that it only has to broadcast a few feet, you'd think it'd be powerful enough to send a clear signal but it's not. Most of the time my music is accompanied by static and the volume has to be turned up very high on both my device and the radio for anything to be heard. As a comparison, I can comfortably listen to the radio on volume level 16 with the windows rolled up but, using my pmp, I need to have the volume at 30 on the device itself and around 45 on the radio.

Also, as a minor inconvenience, the display is not positioned for easy reading.

Pros: Can listen to music without being hostage to a radio or a stack of discs (5 stars)

Cons: Not powerful enough. (-1 star)

Husky Liners Classic Style Custom Fit Molded Front Floor Liner for Select Ford/Lincoln Models (Blac

Husky Liners Classic Style Custom Fit Molded Front Floor Liner for Select Ford/Lincoln ModelsI've had these for 2 years now in my F-150 and they are still in like new condition. Very heavy duty. Put through Michigan winters (salt / snow), mud, daily use... just wipe em off and they still look new.

Favorite part is how they have a little retaining wall which helps when its raining/ snowing. Keeps all the water or mud from running off the mat. These have no doubt saved my carpet.

So far these are great. They all fit very well and I continually receive comments on how good they look. I have the gray interior and went with black mats and they compliment each other very well.

These fit very well and I was quite surprised at how exact they are engineered to fit all the little odd shapes.

They have what seems to be a very good backing system to keep them in place and so far have not slipped a bit.

Very satisfied so far with all of the Husky Liners I purchased for this vehicle.

Also, I did get the best prices on Amazon for all of the pieces and I checked many different sites/stores.
