This plug adapter worked well and served it's purpose to allow me to use my US electronics while vacationing in Sydney. Be aware though, that it will not convert the voltage. You must check your electronics to be sure they will convert 120V/240V. Most newer laptops, cameras, and phone chargers will do this for you; therefore, this adapter will work great with those to simply be able to plug them in the wall.

Be aware that electronics like hair dryers and curling irons will need a different adapter that will convert voltage from 240V (Asia) to 120V (USA).

I used this to connect my laptop to Austrilian plugs during my few trips there. Every time it worked great with good grip. I have no complaints. And it is cheaper than rivals.

It's simple and it works. Most of all, it's not overly bulky. My only complaint is that you can't get a very tight fit between the adapter and the appliance, so it falls out easily.

For less than five bucks I got this bundle with two chargers and cover for my brightside. Feels nice to the touch although the slider function seems a bit hindered from this. But it's nice to have the extra protection and the car charger. I wish all little devices used the micro usb plug companies like Apple with their new "unique" charger only serve to make us pay more to them and trash all the old charger cables. What an un-pc and eco-unfriendly move Apple! The chargers here fit my other phones, my kindle and I love this about it.

I have been very pleased with this battery isolator to say the least, I have not had an ounce of issues with it. I have it installed in the engine compartment on my pickup truck to allow alternator charging of an onboard battery in my slide-in truck camper.

The last review is correct about the manual lacking good information....When my buddy and I installed mine, we had to look up a diagram on google images to understand the correct setup.

But since this is a review for the product, not the manual, I gave it 5 stars for a few reasons.

1. I've had it for 7 months and over that time I've done countless system modifications and it still works perfectly.

2. Once you tighten the nuts down, you're worry free. The lock washers on there are an awesome addition. Your terminals will rip off the wires before they ever come loose from the studs on here.

3. It's an emergency safety feature. If you leave your lights on and drain the starting battery, when you turn the key to on, it engages the solenoid, and the auxilliary battery typically will provide the extra current it takes to engage the starter motor/solenoid and get you on your way.

Note: When it says ignition wire, you can pick any dedicated ignition circuit. I chose the ignition fuse in the panel by the driver's side door, but you could also get away with using your remote wire circuit if you so choose.

Product works just as intended. It is loud when the relay latches, very loud when compared to the 80-amp model, but it's not really that huge of a deal. Installation is easy with two minor problems.

1. Manual is pretty much worthless

2. The mounting posts are blocked by the width of the cylinder, makes using a normal screwdriver near impossible.

For my sound system, I use two batteries-one in the front and one in the back. My tech told me to get an isolator to control the one in the back. So I bought this in may 2011. The tech installed a switch that turned it on and off and there was an audible 'click' when it was turned off or on. In January of 2012, it stopped working. He couldn't figure out why and so I had to replace it...I couldn't find any other brand and that is the only reason I bought this brand again. So far though I haven't had any probs and I hope it continues this way. I am just letting you know my experience so that you can judge for yourself...it could have been that I got a faulty one or a connection prob or sheer bad luck. I bought this amp mostly because it fit my current build budget. Its major selling point was that it is cea-2006 compliant, meaning it truly produces the RMS wattage that is advertised opposed to other companies that say it has 1000watts but really only puts out about 200 watts.. the led hifonics logo looks nice and the heat sinks are a great upgrade from previous models, reminds me of the older JL slash heat sinks. I found out the hard way that BMW deactivates the cigarette lighter on recent BMW models, thus making it impossible for this product to work. You must buy a product with battery clips instead of the cigarette lighter version.

Modern cars have a host of electronic gear inside of them, gear that drains the battery even as your car sits parked in a garage. I lived in NYC for the entire time I had my 2003 M3 and didn't drive it very often. Result: The battery was often dead. Solution: A trickle charger. These chargers put a low current into the car battery and then, when the battery is fully charged, you don't have to unplug it. Instead you leave your car plugged in, and the charger keeps your battery topped off. Unplug when you're ready to drive and off you go! Great if you don't use your car often and want to have it fully charged when you finally do need to use it.

Not so great if you're expecting an instant charge. If you need to start your dead car soon, jump it or push it down a hill and pop the clutch. Note: try these solutions at your own risk.

The other great thing about this little baby is how you can just plug in to your lighter. So convenient!

On the downside you need a power socket somewhere in the vicinity and possibly a very long extension cord or 2.

And you'll need a car model that works with this. Newer cars can't be charged with this through your lighter socket, so make sure that this is the correct charger for your car. Newer cars need to trickle charge through the connection under the hood or through the battery. I haven't tried it so I don't know what's involved, except that you need some kind of adapter with allegator clips. Amazon's compatibility program doesn't seem to realize this and will happily tell you that your car will work with this charger without any adapter.

I used this for years until just recently, when I got a new car AND started driving more frequently, which was another way to solve the problem!

I works well on my '02 M3 convertible. Usually it will take a while (e.g., overnight) to get it fully charged. The plastic shell on the cigarette charger plug got a crack when I accidentally dropped it on the ground, but it still works. Perhaps they could've used more durable material.

I use Optima Blue Top batteries as a power backup with a pure sinewave inverter/charger. They are powerful and can be mounted at any angle since they are sealed and don't vent gas like a flooded battery. Being sealed, the posts don't corrode like regular batteries and the can be used indoors with care. When under a load they hold at 12 volts for a long time and recharge much faster than most batteries and do not heat up even when charged fast, like 70 amps. Optima could package them a little better for shipping one was cracked at the bottom. A piece of stryofoam in the bottom of the box would have saved it from damage. Amazon did send a replacement. Awesome battery which does not require a whole lot of charging to keep it topped off when setting during the winter months; I have a regular WalMart Deep Cycle battery for starting and it does require alot of changing. Recovery time after a full day of fishing is much less than regular deep cycle batteries. If you are a fisherman and want a battery the will deliver this is it but if you are running one of the larger trolling motors purchase the next step up in this battery. Well worth the money.

Amazon has not corrected the packaging problem with these batteries. The battery arrived in a box with a single layer of bubble wrap over the top of the battery. The top of the battery was cracked and the cells inside were visible. I purchased this battery to replace a blue top optima I have had for 8 years. The best battery I have ever owned! I used it for everything from powering 12volt lights in a cabin, to the only power supply in my rock crawler that has a 8k lb winch, 3k lb winch, off-road driving lights, 6 auxiliary lights, air compressor and 300 watt stereo system. I highly recommend the battery, however...do not buy it from amazon. I did get my money back. At first the rep said they could only refund half. I said that was unacceptable and they agreed to a full refund.

Master Lock 2953AT 12-Volt DC Portable Winch

Let's not get carried away. This is not a big winch like the ones you see fastened to the bumpers of monster 4-wheelers. It is much simpler than that. And for what it is designed to do it works very well. For infrequent light duty winching this is the perfect tool.

It has a built in handle for carrying, detachable power and control cords, and enough cable to get you within 25 feet or so of whatever you are winching. It has a 2000 lb rating, and will pull that much easily. Not quickly, but easily. It has a manual crank that can be attached to the shaft. It also has a very handy mounting plate designed to slip over the ball on a ball-hitch.

The clutch is manual, and drag is set by means of a threaded knob on the shaft. It is very simple to use. Simply connect the power and control cables, loosen the clutch, pull the cable to whatever you need to pull and hook it up. Then tighten the clutch and press the button on the control handle and start winching. Be patient. There is only one speed and it is slow. But it works.

I have tested the winch by hanging it from a beam and picking up the front of a truck with no problem. Then we really put it to the test by using it to pull our garden tractor out of the mud. It was a long pull so we needed to add a tug strap but it was easy enough to hook up. The pull was painless. The winch is slow because it gets it's power through gearing. It is quite a drain on a car battery, so it helps to leave your engine running while you pull.

Not something you would want to use every day but very handy to have around. For my money this is a 5-star tool. Great for the boat owner or for use around the farm.

While mowing my lawn, my Sears Lawn Tractor got away from me. While I was working to get it unstuck, it rolled down a steep hill. (Had it not hit a tree, it would have gone off a 20 foot cliff). The wheels got stuck behind large rocks. I bought the winch to pull it up a 40 foot hill, with at least a 45 degree incline. I had to use an additional tow rope even though the instructions warn against this. The winch pulled the tractor up and saved me the money and embarrassment of having to call a tow truck. It worked beyond my expectations.

I have a bad back, I love to kayak, and have two, a 138 and a 160t Old Town kayaks.

My back couldn't get the 160t up on trailer with out straining 70lbs.(I have 3 Cockers that go with me, they can't help lift), I now just align it and press a button. the most frustrating thing is the speed; it is ultra slow, ULTRA...it also kept coming off of it's mounting bracket as there is a lot of wiggle room when placed over the mounting studs...it would seem you really need to make further arrangements in bolting this to it's mounting plate, a lunch pin for example.

i mounted it on the tractor and went to haul up some logs. the cable run is about 30feet; sounds like a lot until getting down in a ravine and seeing just how short that is...i attached an added chain, but still there was only a 30foot run at a time before having to go back down and make new attachments.

i do belive the pulling data is very accurate, i tried to pull my 2500 pound tractor on a 5% grade. it did it BUT i could have retired in the process...ULTRA slow.

there may be times when very slow is good as in tightening fence lines, pulling in a boat....but most of what i do around the farm speed is more important to me...if i were to guess i would say it winches in at about 6inches a minute. they say not to run the motor more than 8-12 minutes...so, gee that figures out to be a whopping 6feet in 12 minutes....

the setup seems solid except the plastic housing which if rather flimsy, as evidenced when it fell off the mounting plate...maybe a fall of 1 1/2 foot...the housing got big deep scrathes and seperated at the seam. they mention it is not waterproof, well you can surely believe that.

i will keep it as for the price it will have some uses, like fence pulling, lifting the motorcycle from a rafter/pulley to change tires etc...but for log pulling, moving something up to the flatbed well there are faster ways.

Milwaukee 0880-20 18 Volt Cordless Wet/Dry Vacuum,

This vacuum works great. I find that it works well even as the batteries are going down. It does eat batteries pretty quickly but I'm able to get everything done I need. I also vacuum more often now that I have it. One thing to keep in mind is that is does not come with batteries. It really only makes sense to buy it if you are already invested in Milwaukee tools.

This is a great portable vacuum. My problem is that it was described as having "a long continuous run time." That time is actually, according to both Milwaukee (personal communication) and personal experience, about 11 minutes on a fully charged 18V battery. That was less than I expected and will necessitate buying a second battery. This vacuum with two batteries at $51.18 each becomes a pretty expensive proposition. I can recommend this vacuum only if you are already invested in Milwaukee portable tools and 18-volt lithium ion batteries.

One saving grace is that if you don't anticipate using the vacuum very long at any given time, the batteries do have a short recharge time, so one battery might be sufficient.

This is definitely the Milwaukee Tool quality that I have come to respect. It has plenty of pick-up power and best of all it works with my 18V Compact Li-ion batteries that came with my drill (It also works on 18V Ni-Cad batteries as well). The battery bay has two different mounts that allow the use of either style Milwaukee 18V battery (however, only one battery can be used at any given time). It has a float inside the pick-up chamber that turns it off if too much water comes in. The hose and cabinet are made from heavy duty material making it great for rugged use. It comes with two small wands one of which is for cracks and crevices and the other for general pick up. These are kept nicely tucked away under the lid in their perspective storage areas. The only thing I wish they would have added is a small brush attachment but that is a minor thing. My wife has already snagged it to use on the carpeted steps because of how easy it is to use. Very pleased indeed!

Since I already own several Milwaukee 18V cordless tools and 2 batteries, this was a fantastic addition. For small jobs, this thing can't be beat. Lightweight, sturdy, extremely portable, great suction, good attachments. For jobs like vacuuming the car, picking up sawdust or drywall, and other small projects around the house, this is the first vacuum I go to. It's very well made, and I'm actually really impressed with the hose on it really high quality and it stretches to probably 5 feet or so, but re-coils nicely. Much better quality than any typical wet/dry vac hose. And since it's a standard 1 1/4 hose, you can add a variety of additional attachments. Plus, you can use it as a blower too.

I have no idea what the continuous run-time is, I haven't used it for more than about 5 minutes straight. But, on a single V18 battery, I can use it intermittently for several weeks (1-2 minutes at a time every 3rd or 4th day) before I need to recharge the battery. This vacuum is compatible with all 4 versions of Milwaukee 18V batteries (V18, M18, M18 compact, and NiCad).

3 limitations: 1.) It's cordless, so don't expect to run it for a half hour straight and vacuum your entire house. 2.) To make it so portable, the storage for the attachments is small. It will only hold the 2 attachments it comes with, so if you add anything else (like a brush tool), you'll need to store them separately. 3.) It's got a special lock-in hose, so you can't take any 1 1/4" shop-vac hose and plug that in.

For what it's worth, my wife rolled her eyes when she saw this show up (thought I was just buying another toy). But she had to admit that she loves this thing now too. Keeps it in the hall closet and it's the first thing she grabs to vacuum up the cat litter off the floor.

If you have the batteries already, it's a great addition. But if you're just looking for a portable vacuum, this is probably close to a $150 investment by the time you're done (just look at the "frequently bought together" section of this page).

I took a chance and purchase this item. It was worth it. I am using a 32GB Micro SD card have it set to record @ 5 minutes intervals.

I am very please with this item. I would not recommend for night use due to the fact that the LED light are very bright and would be an distraction to un-coming traffic.

Other than that the quality is not HD but you can't get anything with a better price budget.

camera has suprisingly good video quality, the only downside we haven't recorded any falling meteorites yet. if you need accountability on a road this one is a good choice.

I concur with the previous review that camera will stop recording in 15 seconds to 4 minutes depending on Loop setting if the camera sees no motion (this is a separate issue from Motion Detection setting). I spent many hours of trial and error to get around this bug and could not do it. No documentation on Motion Detection and Gsensor setup options. Another example was Loop recording options were 1,2,3 minutes not 5,10,15 minutes as stated in the poorly written manual. I had version 1.00 of the firmware (2012/11/13). Camera has potential; the image quality was good for a $55 camera at all the selectable resolutions. I bet version 2.00 will work. Returned it.

The first one I accidentally put the bias the wrong way and it broke (my fault). The second one just stopped working for no reason after two days of use.

I'm a big fan of the high-end Flukes so I've worked with the best. Well, these defintitely aren't the best, but you can't beat what you get for the price. I got it for my brother for his car and it does the job well.

First, the bad:

1. No auto shut-off. You gotta make sure you turn it off or the battery will just keep draining away.

2. No auto-sensing. You gotta set the dial for the range you're looking for. But hey, I like it so much I don't care that I can't be so lazy.

And the good:

1. All the features. You get all the standards PLUS a tach and a dwell-meter! That'll about cover your carbureted cars.

2. Price. You can find multimeters that can't do the extras for the same price and even more. Great bargain.

3. Alligator clips. Simple things but it'd be a pain without them.

Plus, this thing will handle all the home electrical work.

As for the rest: I won't vouch for its durability but Actron is a decent company. They go towards affordable but not junky. The case is made of a light plastic, but it doesn't seem fragile. As for the tolerances, they're not bad:

This multimeter is an all around good tool. It has all the features you need plus some of the features that only the more expensive ones have. Like the battery tester and backlight display. I am studying electronics right now and I find myself getting a ton more use out of it than I thought I would. It is easy to use and the instruction manual that comes with it tells you how to perform most common tests that it does with pictures to go along. There are comperable multi-meters out there that cost less but most would cost more. There are certainly better multi-meters than this one but they will cost more. The only bad things I can say about this tool is that the battery is hard to get to. You have to remove 2 screws in the back and pry it apart. Actron should have just put one of those slide off battery covers on it. Also most multi-meters come with some sort of rubber, protective sleeve, that also has a lanyard for your hand so you dont drop it. If this mult-meter had a lanyard and the battery was easier to get out, I would have given it a 5 Stars.

This will perform any test a neophyte electrician will do. The instruction manual is well written and understandable. Instructions provided for most ignition tests of classic cars and sensor testing of newer cars.

I had been eyeing this multimeter for a while, and when it went on sale for half its list price, I grabbed it. It arrived promptly and works very well. The unit has a solid feel to it and the blue rubberized case around it and the "stand" behind are good features to have when working around places where it might get bumped like in the engine compartment. I found the included alligator clips a useful bonus a lot many of the ones in the mid thirties price range don't have this.

Two minor flaws it needs a 9 volt battery and doesn't ship with one. That was a minor annoyance not many people have these just lying around the house. Why not design the meter using AA batteries or just ship it with a 9V battery?

Second is that there is no sticky film protecting the (rather large) LCD display. For a meter that is meant for harsh outdoor environments in which it might get scratched, this is definitely an oversight.

But overall I am pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it as a solid entry level multimeter.

I purchased my multimeter in January of 2009 and was satisfied with the ease of use and the functionality. The booklet included with the meter was very helpful. I have a classic car and purchased the meter to find shorts and set the dwell. Recently as I began to use the tool, the dwell read 45 when turned on and not connected. When connected it was obviously way off as the car would not have run if the reading had been correct. I tested the rpm reading which also was incorrect. I tried several times to switch it off and on, but that didn't have any effect nor did removing and reinstalling the battery. I emailed customer service describing my problem. Their response was to ask about the purchase date. Once they had that information,they informed me that my meter was out of warranty and there was no way to repair it.

I realize that there are much more expensive multimeters, but I used this meter 4-5 times in two years. That seems like a quality issue.

I received my mirror in the mail in just a few days. It was described as "used like new". It was still in the box with all original packaging. It had never been installed. The mirror itself is wonderful. It took me 30 min to install it (just 3 wires) and took 10 min to activate it.

At about ten percent of its introductory price and with the ability to provide almost the level of a GM built in OnStar, this is a great deal. It was easy to install but professional installation would normally be recommended. I'd give it 5 stars if they included the option to buy an adapter to read your computer in the car to give you the diagnostic abilities of built-in devices. But that is not a good reason to pass on getting this peace of mind for your car and an excellent Bluetooth speakerphone for your cell phone as well.

I contacted the seller to make sure this would fit my TomTom. He assured me it would. When I received it, it would not fit because the rubber around it was to thich to go in. I did not return because the price was so low. I just cut a little of the rubber off and used it.
