Husky Liners Classic Style Custom Fit Molded Front Floor Liner for Select Jeep Liberty KJ Models (B

Husky Liners Classic Style Custom Fit Molded Front Floor Liner for Select Jeep Liberty KJ ModelsNear-perfect fit for my 2002 Jeep Liberty 3.7 V6.

I could not be more pleased. Make sure you remove your factory mats before installing.

I bought these floor mats about two months ago. They are a perfect fit for my 05' Jeep Liberty. No problems, thus far; just a lot of dirt and mud that didn't make it into the upholstery! I shall definitely recommend these floor liners for anyone wanting to protect their vehicle upholstery.

This floor liner is a perfect fit on my 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport/Freedom. It's pricey compared to cheap, generic liners but this is a must have for any car owner. It is especially advisable for using during the winter season and rainy season because it catches all the dirt and wetness so that your floor carpets are kept clean and dry all the time. It is certainly worth the investment and I highly recommend it.

Fyi, I first went online to huskyliners.com and emailed the manufacturer to make sure this is a perfect fit for my car. They are very courteous and helpful, and they emailed me back within 24 hours. I suggest you do the same before making a purchase. Also, when installing these on your car, the liners actually have marks on them that tell you which one goes to the passenger side or the driver's side of the car. These are supposed to make a PERFECT fit on your vehicle so if you find that it doesn't do that then you either purchased the wrong kind or you installed it incorrectly. You need not worry though (if you purchased the wrong kind) because Amazon.com has an excellent, customer-friendly returns policy.

I bought the front and rear floor liners for my 2002 Jeep Liberty. First of all, the pattern is not diamond like in the picture, it's rectangles with rounded corners. The actual liner is not as thick or as "rubber like" as I would like. It's more like thin plastic. Maybe it's just my liners, but they don't fit on the floor perfectly. Overall, they do what they're supposed to, and I guess that's what counts.

Pioneer DEH-P7400HD Mobile CD Receiver with HD Radio and MIXTRAX

Pioneer DEH-P7400HD Mobile CD Receiver with HD Radio and MIXTRAX
  • Enjoy your favorite music in a continuous mix with audio and visual effects with MIXTRAX
  • Built-in HD Radio
  • Direct control for iPod/iPhone (cable sold separately)
  • Rear USB Port
  • Full dot LCD display (192 x 48 pixels, 3-line)

This player is awesome! I was looking for a player that had the most for the value, this is definately it. I love the fact that it has rear USB instead of front USB. I routed an ipod cable from the back down to my glove box and the Ipod interface on this is great. I can control everything on the ipod right from the deck it self. Very easy to navigate with tons of options. One thing I can say about Pioneer is they definately have the BEST sound. Right out of the box this deck produces excellent sound. I did not even need to adjust the EQ. It was perfect. The color options on this are almost endless, the LED screen is great, you can use pandora from your phone, and HD Radio! The hd radio sound quality is like cd quality. I have NO complaints.

This does not have bluetooth.....and that doesnt bother me one bit. Also this is an outstanding price, I found them in stores for about 50 bucks more than amazon.

Purchased mine a couple of weeks ago and have it set up with Diamond Audio 663S components in the front run off a Boston Acoustics GT-275 amp, with JL Audio C2-600x running in the rear off the DEH-P7400HD internal power for a little extra fill.

I have not used the CD or the radio, but have been playing WAV and 320K MP3s off of 16GB and 32GB USB sticks. The sound quality more than met my expectations for the price of $125 here at Amazon. With the flash drives, it only takes a few seconds for the unit to scan the drive and start playing. I did try my WD Passport 320GB portable USB drive. The DEH-P7400HD worked fine in powering the drive and recognizing the files, but I find the navigation system for moving through folder structures and large numbers of files to be a little clunky when a whole hard drive full of files is available.

The DA tweeters I have are a little bright, so the built in 5 band EQ has been invaluable in taming them down and producing a flatter response. This is one of the many benefits of the HU, in that it has many different audio tweaking functions for getting your setup to sound the way that you want it. Just takes some experimentation, and some struggle with the less than user-friendly manual (probably the biggest con, but that's pretty typical for audio electronics manuals). For instance, I'll be installing an IDQ10 D4 sub and Crossfire monoblock amp this weekend, and I'm excited about the prospect of being able to adjust the HPF and LPF on the DEH-P7400HD from the front seat, rather than having to get out the driver's seat and adjust the LPF on the amp.

I saw on one review (not on Amazon) where someone complained that the pause button was buried in the menus; I have not found that to be a problem because one can hold in the SRC button on the top left for a couple of seconds, and the unit instantly shuts off--no need for a pause button.

It has a great remote, although I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it as the driver of the car when it seems just as easy to me to reach over to the unit.

Overall, I'd say this unit is a fantastic value for the price.

This radio has built in HD radio, and Usb/Ipod control, and a lot of customizable features. I have been installing stereo's for over twenty years, professionally at one point, now just recreation, and this is the best value I have seen...ever. Pioneer has been my favorite head unit simply for their reliability, but they have great features also.

I love this thing, I looked and looked because I didn't want to spend money on an off brand cd player that was going to break or just look cheap. I had a dual in my last car and it had a lot of features but the overall apperance was cheap, the display was blocky and the ipod hook up broke within a couple months.

This thing I fell in love with. I love the display its actually able to be read and doesn't look like an alarm clock. I have it set to match the colors perfectly to my dash. The rear usb i wasn't excited about but now i like it because i can keep the cord hidden instead of hanging out of my dash. Oh and I almost forgot it works with my IPhone5. That was a huge plus. When I bought it I figured it wouldn't work but i tried it out for s*** and giggles and Every feature of it works especially pandora which is Very cool in itself.

I've only had this thing for a few days so i can't vouch for the longevity but it seems well built and if it does ever break, i'll probably buy another on because its only 90 bucks and its worth it.

  • Plug in the USB Sync Cable into the USB Car or the Wall / Travel charger and take it on the go.

I ordered this because I needed a charger for my Samsung YP-K3 (music player) --I was excited that it fit but it also came with all this extra stuff I have no use for. Although I did not do my research either... it was still what I needed. SO two thumbs up!

Even though the website stated that this cable would fit my specific MP3 player (Samsung YP-K3), it did not fit. The connector was too small. It was only about $5-6 including shipping, so it's really not worth sending it back. This is the issue with buying something online can't try it before you buy it.........

This item was really perfectly fine. I have no problems with it and I still use it to charge my mp3 player.

Master Lock 263DAT Titanium High Security Steering Wheel Lock

Master Lock 263DAT Titanium High Security Steering Wheel LockWhen I initially started looking at steering wheel locks, I saw this one and thought, what a great deal and great price. It's like the original Club, but on steriods ! :D I was reluctant at first after hearing on the net claiming this could be picked by an ordinary pen! I contacted Masterlock after purchasing and they emailed me to assure that it cannot be picked with a pen. Perhaps it was with a previous model because this lock isn't a tumbler Kryptonite-style type. So when I received it, sure enough, it comes with a regular padlock-style lock and keys. It does need to be positioned correctly, though as the previous reviewer said, but I think it's an excellent steering wheel lock. And the red flashing led is a bonus, especially at night.

I got this steering wheel lock for my 2000 Honda Civic Si. My car got broken into and I found this bar laying on the back seat. Found the bar was bent in the middle. It's an awesome deterrent but the car thieves managed to get off without a problem. If they want your car bad enough they will find a way. Good thing I have an alarm with starter kill and a clutch pedal lock.

Buy Master Lock 263DAT Titanium High Security Steering Wheel Lock Now

Let's be honest, if someone really wants to steal your car, and if they have the motivation, they're going to do it. But that doesn't mean you should make it easy for them. The Masterlock Steering Wheel Lock gives theives a hard time. Its double hooks make cutting the steering wheel and slipping it off more difficult. Prying or otherwise tampering with the bar could easily set off the horn, giving the theif unwanted attention. My only compaint is that the bar is difficult to install on my Taurus, as I have to set the wheel in a certain position in order to get a snug fit. Other than that, it provides a good means to keep the joyriders away from my car. Use this or something like it (pedal lock, tire lock, gearshift lock) along with some common sense (don't leave your car unlocked, don't leave your valuables on display) and your car should be fine.

Read Best Reviews of Master Lock 263DAT Titanium High Security Steering Wheel Lock Here

Alright, I've read most of the reviews others have had regarding this lock and whether you love it or hate it really depends on your steering wheel. The four claws fit alright on the steering wheel of my Acura but it could be better. Nonetheless, this product is fantastic and I love the peace of mind it gives me. It is a little bit thinner than the original Club, but it is made from titanium so attempting to cut it with a hacksaw will be quite a difficult job. The flashing LED on the end is an added plus, giving off the illusion of a car alarm LED at night (if you don't have an alarm, that is). I've had this for a little over a month and use it religiously; if you're as paranoid as me, you should too. :D

Want Master Lock 263DAT Titanium High Security Steering Wheel Lock Discount?

I bought this because you can't beat it for the price (I paid ~27.50 after Shipping), and my car was stolen (but then recovered) prior to this purchase, which of course made me realize I needed to start being concerned about security and anti-theft measures.

PROS:

Price. It's cheap and generally speaking does its job.

The blinking LED is a super cool idea (provided it actually works -see CONS below)

It's relatively quick and easy to put on your wheel. Depends on the type of wheel, but anywhere from a couple seconds to about 20 seconds is all you'll need.

On my car, it still fit even though I had one of those leather wheel cover things.

It's light and not huge, meaning moving it around is easy.

(Although that could also mean it's weak and made with inferior materials. Not sure.)

CONS:

As others have said, the flashing LED goes out quickly. In my case, it died after ONE DAY, which really sucks because I think the blinking light is a fantastic idea and something that all clubs should have. Made me sad :(

The black plastic portion at the end that houses the flashing LED can literally be pulled off with your hands. On mine it actually fell off. I imagine this isn't helpful for you when a thief is working on breaking the club to get access to your car.

I am driving an older car (1987 Nissan Sentra 2-door hatchback) that for whatever reason has a thinner-than-normal steering wheel grip. This means that the club can slide around an inch or two once attached on the wheel. Not a big deal if you're just using it as a deterrent, but I think it's reasonable to assume that against actual attacks, this would make it a lot easier to break and/or remove.

The piece of metal that "comes out" when you attach this to your steering wheel, is about a third to half an inch thick. *It's also hollow*.

(A commenter pointed out, though, that if it's indeed titanium as claimed, it probably doesn't need to be super thick. I don't know if hollowed titanium or steel would be better, but they have a good point)

BOTTOM LINE:

Flaws considered, for the price it's a pretty good deterrent to a thief, who will very likely skip on to another car that's not clubbed, unless your car has particular appeal like being a luxury car or a classic. But if it's worth so much, wouldn't you be spending more to get a nice club?

It's definitely got room for improvement but the piece-of-mind to cost ratio is very good.

If they fixed the issues with the blinking LED being of such poor quality, I'd probably buy the product again.

Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo With Do-It-Yourself Programming

Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo With Do-It-Yourself ProgrammingI bought this because my remote quit working and wouldn't work after I put a new battery in it. I even tried the programming procedure described in the owner's manual, with no success.

The kit has one spare remote and very easy instructions to reprogram your new remote.

As a matter of fact it is possible that the only thing you really need is the instructions: When I received the kit, I tried the reprogramming procedure on my old remote and it worked! I didn't even need the new one. This is why I suggest you look online for the proper reprogramming procedure before you buy this; you may not need a new remote, just the proper programming instructions.

If you do need a new remote though, buy this. Don't go to a Chevy dealer; They'll charge you probably around $50 to reprogram your remote, and much more if they take you for a ride (like they tell you your car needs a new BCM for instance).

I received my remote yesterday afternoon for my 2003 Chevy Impala. It took me less than 5 minutes to program and be on my way to work. I am thrilled with the service and delivery as well as the ease of how it was programmed. The dealer wanted $55.00 for the remote and $75.00 to program it. Thanks.

Yaesu FT-60R DualBand Handheld 5W VHF/UHF Amateur Radio Transceiver - Dual Band

Yaesu FT-60R DualBand Handheld 5W VHF/UHF Amateur Radio Transceiver - Dual BandThis is a great radio. It is dual VHF/UHF (2M and 70cm bands) receive and transmit but it will scan many more including the NOAA radio weather channels. Plenty of memories and the ability to break memories into banks such as local repeaters or local fire/rescue.

It's true that the microphone connection is a phono plug however, the Yaesu external microphone/speaker plug goes in at a right angle so I don't know how anyone has pulled it out accidentally. I never have.

The one negative I have found is that the "0" (zero) key on the keypad activates a function to prefix transmissions with DTMF tones for Yaesu's "WIRES" repeater function. This is of course, very easy to activate accidentally and will send a DTMF prefix whether you meant to or not, reducing your audio to next to nothing so other stations don't hear your call sign or the call sign of the station you are calling. There's a way to disable this but why this feature was not assigned to a function key I don't know.

I purchased this radio just over a year ago from a major ham radio retailer. At that time, the price was about what it is on Amazon now, and has since decreased a decent amount. The radio itself, however is outstanding. As a new ham, all of the acronyms and features had me pretty confused, but within a week or two of use, the radio was much simpler to program and operate.

The build quality of the unit is notable, and definitely a step above other cheap knockoff radios that exist. My radio has held up very well to moderate use, and even survived a couple of spills with no real notable damage. As another review noted, the design of the accessory port leaves something to be desired, although I have found that routing your speaker mic cable under the belt clip aids in keeping the plug seated properly.

Programming the radio by hand is not something I would want to attempt with 50+ channels, but is doable. Get yourself a cable and search around for the software, and it goes much smoother.

Most of my club members have purchased the FT-60R, and the club owns an additional 10. Altogether we have had no real issues with any of them.

I would definitely recommended this HT as a solid performer for any ham looking to pickup an HT.

73's!

This is a great radio. Easy to use and lots of features. The only thing I don't like about it is the external microphone port doesn't have threads to secure the cable.

I use a HAM radio roughly about 2-3 times a year when I lend my time to the Miami Marathon and the MS150 as a volunteer radio operator. This radio replaced my old clunky Radio Shack VHF HTX-202 which was my very first radio. I love Yaesu because they always pump out a great product and I already have a Yaesu in my car as my mobile unit, therefore you can count on the interface being very similar.

This radio is very easy to use and you can usually figure out what you are doing even without the manual because it is rather intuitive as to how to set your tones and program the memory.

It has excellent range and the battery life is amazing, huge improvement over my last radio which was using NiCad primarily. It is quite light weight and fits nicely in your hand to allow for one hand operation.

The only thing I wonder is if this radio could use an upgraded antenna, not sure as of yet.

I am new to amatuer radio. I bought this radio to start working on my amateur license. Radio has a lot of useful features. Although I am not totally familiar with all of the feautres I am learning as I go along. I have already tested its transmission/receiving at 430.000mhz Hi setting power using basic communication, no repeater or extended antenna. Got a little over 1.5 miles in the city. Great radio bought it when my friend showed me a similar model which works fine.

Haven't used this charger much yet since I just got it but right off the bat I noticed that the spring-loaded buttons on the side which hold it in place in the lighter socket don't do a very good job of holding it firmly. It's pretty loose and trying to disconnect your USB cable will pull the whole thing out which is a little annoying. My other Scosche dual USB charger holds much more firmly (but doesn't offer the 2amp port for iPads).

Want PowerGen 2.1Amps / 10W Dual USB Car charger Designed for Apple and Android Devices - Black Discount?

Quick Summary: Pass this one up. Specs looks good on paper but performs horribly in the real world. It's not worth the cost or headache and you won't be happy with the PowerGen Dual USB Port 2A 10w (fast) Heavy Duty Charger Black.

I purchased the PowerGen Dual USB Port 2A 10w (fast) Heavy Duty Ouput Car Charger Black because the specs sounded great and was what I thought would fit my needs. However after having received it and used it for 4 months I can say that it was a waste of money. As other reviewers mentioned it does not fit well into the car outlet socket. The metal contacts on either side of the PowerGen are rounded and not flat. As a result you have very little surface area holding the PowerGen into the socket as only the very tops of the contacts are actually in contact with the side walls of the socket. As a result it falls out easily as your car vibrates or hits bumps in the road.

In addition I've had problems with the PowerGen actually working. When plugged in it lights up as it's suppose to but does not supply power to the devices plugged into it. I've tried both USB Ports and neither work. I've tried multiple cables and none work. I've tried Iphones and Ipads and none will charge.

I noticed this happening intermittently the first week I got it. I'd have my Iphone plugged in and it would be charging and then all of a sudden it'd stop charging. Thinking that the PowerGen had come loose in the socket I'd try pushing it back in and jiggling it and the phone would "bleep" and start charging again. At first I thought that it was just coming loose and it stopped happening after a while but it started happening again more frequently and I noticed that when the phone would stop charging that the blue light on the unit would still be on. Now 4 months later it's not working at all. It lights up but as I said before none of the ports gets power and nothing will charge. Not very useful except maybe as a night light.

Fortunately this PowerGen piece of junk wasn't too expensive as I now have to purchase another car USB charger. I can tell you this though, it won't be another PowerGen Dual USB Port piece of junk. If I could return it I would.

Was looking for a 2 port usb charger for my car as when we are on long trips both me and my wife need to have things plugged in. Just got this in today and ran it out to the car, It fit just fine in the cig lighter and looks like it's charging my iphone 5 just fine!

When it's plugged in, even if there is no usb cable attached the whole front of it glows with a blue light. It is a bit distracting, would have preferred just a small dim light to indicate it was receiving power, or maybe only light up fully if something is plugged in.

MAXSA Innovations Park Right Dual Laser Garage Laser Park

MAXSA Innovations Park Right Dual Laser Garage Laser ParkI first bought this (Maxsa) version of this device (virtually identical to the Sierra version, clearly the same manufacturer). All was well at first, both lights nice and bright. But after only two weeks, one of the laser lights went dim. It still comes on, but not nearly bright enough to be of use. Since we liked the system during the short time it worked, we decided to roll the dice again, hoping for a better outcome, so I ordered the Sierra version. Guess what, the EXACT same thing happened (one light on, but too dim to be of use), but this time time it happened DURING THE INITIAL AIMING PROCESS! So, I now have two of these things installed in my garage, each of them with only half of it working.

Don't waste your money.

Got this item so there would be space for me to walk to the other side of our garage (where the tools are) without having a vehicle in the way.

The first one died about a month after ordering it. The company I ordered from was gracious and sent me a replacement even though I was past the 30 day guaranteed return.

The second one is going strong and is fantastic. Just maneuver your vehicles into the places you want them to stop (and the garage door won't hit them) and adjust the lasers to hit the edge of the dash ahead of the steering wheel.

Great device that beats the tennis ball on a string any day!

The laser works great but you can't move the beam as wide as you need to get both cars..You need a high ceiling

My husband was able to install in less than 5 minutes and it works perfectly. Easy to adjust to accomodate our two cars and makes parking effortless. We were able to position the lights so they hit our dash boards so we know that when we reach a certain point we have room enough to walk completely around our cars and open the hatch with the garage door closed. We absolutely love it. Both beams are bright and we have had no problems making it wide enough for both cars as mentioned in previous reviews. Our garage does not have a particuarly high ceiling.

Want MAXSA Innovations Park Right Dual Laser Garage Laser Park Discount?

I have owned this for one month now and have had no negative issues with the lasers. To those that said the adjustments were limited, I too had a slight aiming problem. I found that mounting it 'backwards' (meaning the motion sensor facing the same direction you are driving in) provided a more suitable aiming pattern. To those that said the lights do not stay on long enough, this 'backwards' placement causes the motion sensor to detect the vehicles later in the approach, thus giving you more time to finish parking before the lights go out. I had my original GM fobs for 10 years before they deteriorated and broke. I've had this one for only a few weeks and they are breaking already. Looks like I will spend the additional money on the real GM fobs and have learned that you get what you pay for. I will say they looked and operated great for the first two weeks, the plastic is just not the same as the real deal.

I bought this item because my LOCK and UNLOCK were pretty much worn away. I took the old rubber insert out of my old shell and replaced it with the new rubber insert from the new shell which, in my case fit perfectly. For those who don't really need the shell, the rubber insert works just fine in the old one.

Case began to crack within a week of receiving it, Company sent out a replacement that lasted about 6 weeks befor it also began to crack. Recently ordered another one from another vendor.

Possibility of failty batch from manufacture.

I have had two GM remotes on the same keychain with the same keys for many years and never had this problem, like I said, It may be a manufactures batch problem.

I bought a couple of these cases to replace the worn out key fobs for my 2001 Tahoe. They look identical to the originals. It only took a coupe of minutes to pop the case open and move the electronics board to the new case. The hardest part was lining up the seal so I could snap the case shut. This took a little patience but the whole process only took a few minutes. The amazing part was the new key fobs worked even better than the originals. I used to have to press the buttons really hard to get the doors to lock or unlock. Now all I have to do is give the buttons a gentle push and they work. I think the quick cleaning job I did to the board before putting it into the case probably had something to do with this. Anyway they work like a charm, they look great and it was a breeze to make the switch. I highly recommend buying these if you are having problems with your old OEM fobs.

Schumacher 82-6-PE Dual-Rate Manual Charger

Schumacher 82-6-PE Dual-Rate Manual ChargerI have owned this charger for about 5 years now and i am impressed on how it still works considering that I use is all the time and slow charge batterys all night! Well worth the price.

To be brief, I bought this a few years ago (from Amazon)and I have used it a handfull of times to charge dead car batteries and it has worked as advertized. It works well. I am pleased with the purchase as I got it for a good price. I would suggest it to others who are looking for a "lessor amp" power charger who don't mind waiting a little longer to charge something versus a chager that is is a faster charger with higher amps such as 10 or 12. Very good value for the $$.

RCA AM/FM/CD Flip-Down In-Dash With Portable MP3 USB Player

RCA AM/FM/CD Flip-Down In-Dash With Portable MP3 USB PlayerOrdered this and installed in my car about a year ago. Took some minor adjusting to get it to fit right. Seemed like very good quality out of the box. But the problem with RCA is that if it's not ordered by an authorized RCA retailer then they will not honor any warranty. Needless to say the unit I received was in need of such service. So let's begin with the PROS: The usb mp3 player is a great idea and what sold me on this unit. Not that I ever expected to detach it and go for a jog with it but the ability to record a song off the radio and then take it home and put it on your computer is super cool. It's why I purchased this unit and why, despite it's flaws I would actually purchase this unit again without a second thought. I am not an audiophile while driving. I am at home but in my car I have the windows down and am typically in my car primarily to get from point A to points B and beyond. So my needs were for a nice sounding unit with upgrade capability if later deemed necessary. That was my basic need which just about every car stereo out there matched. Beyond that I wanted knobs. I hate buttons for volume and tuning. I'm 30 so I'm still on the knob side of technology. They just plain work better. And they are much better suited for driving than a button barely the size of my finger nail. For the most part all of the controls make sense. It also comes with a remote that is a great size with all the features you'd need without a plethora of unnecessary buttons. But it is not needed for any function that the radio's direct interface can't navigate. Now for the CONS: The mp3 player is absolute rubbish. Don't expect to use it for anything at all besides recording that rare song or newsbyte. If NPR is your thing it would be very well suited. But the audio quality is really sub-par. Also the CD player tends to almost eat CDs. In fact I don't even carry a single CD in the car anymore because of how bad it is. The interface mostly makes sense but of course if I were to design the layout I would pretty much change everything. The only thing I would keep is the one-knob-per-side layout. A classic that I still think is the way to go. Sound manipulation is limited to balance bass treble fader. Nothing spectacular but good enough for me and my stock Toyota speakers.

BOTTOM LINE:

A great idea with poor execution. I would buy this again only because I don't think anybody else has done this. The idea of a built in detachable mp3 player that charges itself as you drive seems very basic but still I have yet to see another one. And at this point not having one would really irk me. If you do buy this make sure it's through an RCA retailer. Based on how many things were/are wrong with mine you're probably gonna need it.

Clore JNC660 'Jump-N-Carry' 1,700 Peak Amp 12-Volt Jump Starter

Clore JNC660 'Jump-N-Carry' 1,700 Peak Amp 12-Volt Jump StarterIf you can't start your car or truck with this thing, you have bigger problems than a dead battery! This unit is one of the most powerful portable battery jumpers out there at 1700 peak amps. That's almost twice as powerful as many other lower quality competitors.

This is not a "multi-purpose" unit that you will find at the local big box store. It's not an air compressor, radio, flashlight, food processor and battery jumper. It's only a battery jumper, although it does have a "cigarette-lighter" style socket to power other items if needed.

This is a great product, but consider this before you buy it: This model may not be for everyone. This is a professional grade item and is not intended to be used by people unfamiliar with proper battery jumping procedures. Here's why I say this:

1. Some battery jumping devices have a feature that will alert you if you hook the jumper cables up incorrectly. This unit has no such feature.

2. Some have safety switches that remove power to the cables while you are hooking them up. This unit has no such switch.

3. Some battery jumpers have sophisticated chargers that won't allow you to overcharge the battery. Not this one. When you plug it in to recharge it, you can't just walk away for 2 days and let it charge. You have to monitor it during the recharging process.

4. Some battery jumpers have a set of generic lights to tell you the current state of charge of the booster box. Not this one. It has a voltmeter on the front and you need to know how to read it.

Now, none of these items is THAT big of a deal, but I thought it was worth mentioning. If you aren't familiar with how to properly jump-start a car, you may be better off with another model with more "dummy-proof" features.

One last comment: This Jump n Carry comes with a redeemable certificate for a one-time replacement unit. If (for ANY reason) this unit stops working during its lifetime, you send it back to the company with the certificate (along with $50) and they will repair or replace it, no questions asked. Not a bad deal!

Bottom Line: If you need the most power in a single-purpose jumper box, buy this one!

Per the manufacturer, all of the JNC660's manufactured AFTER May 2010 now have an AUTO CHARGE feature that allows for you to plug the unit into charge and not have to monitor the charging process. This was a very big drawback of this unit prior as noted in one of the 5 star reviews from G.Powers [Looking for the most powerful battery jumper? Read on..., November 21, 2007] However, the other 'dummy proof' features are still not included in this unit (reverse hookup and turning off power to the cables during hookup)

excellent transaction!!! great battery boosters! no need for a separate transformer, the unit plugs directly into the wall!! Being the owner of a car dealership, we put these through the test, using them 10-15 times a day, we have had other makes in the past, but nothing lasts as long as these, plus they give you a $40 one time coupon in case anything breaks, wheather you did it ot not , they will give you a new one. no questions asked!!!

The Jump-N-Carry has suprised me with its terrific power output. Also, suprising is the fact that although it was charged 2 1/2 months ago, I have had not had to re-charge it. It continues to have a terrific charge of power available!

Want Clore JNC660 'Jump-N-Carry' 1,700 Peak Amp 12-Volt Jump Starter Discount?

First off let me just say that this unit is a heck of a lot better than the ones in your box stores. I have a construction company so there is always something with a dead battery everyday. This unit works good for the first, second, and 'sometimes' third jump but that's usually it. After about 8 days of heavy use I can only get the unit to recharge to about 70%I may return it. My only other complaint is that when you are in a hurry and wrap the cables back up its very easy to slice into the cable with the handles.

Sony XM Satellite Radio Receiver Package DRN-XM01C

Sony XM Satellite Radio Receiver Package DRN-XM01C
  • Over 170 Crystal Clear Digital Channels With Coast To Coast Coverage
  • Two Line Backlit Display With 20 Characters Per Line To Show Song Title, Artist Name, and Style of Music
  • Transportable "Plug & Play" Receiver
  • Preset Function For Up To 5 Channels
  • Comes With a Cassette Adapter So You Can Easily Play Through Your Car's Cassette Player

Yes, really. In my experience, Sony makes good stuff, mostly. This DRN-XM radio is no exception. Yes, this radio is not the latest, feature-rich device around, but the damn thing does extremely well in picking up signals, even in my downstairs office where the signal must penetrate at least a foot of concrete. I am using the shark fin antenna and I have it stuck sideways on my metal filing cabinet which is about 18 feet from the basement window. I've used the smaller, low profile antenna down here also and it works just as well. I have another shark fin antenna on the radio installed in my pickup truck, and it very, very rarely loses a signal. The signal drops out a bit sometimes on the radio in the basement when I turn on the microwave which is a foot away from it, but that's not typical. I have 5 Sony DRN-XM02 radios and 1 DRN-XM01 radio. They look identical and work the same, but the DRN-XM02 has a fancier remote control on it and a whiter screen vs. the bluer screen of the DRN-XM01 and smaller remote with less buttons on it. I ended up paying for a lifetime subscription for one of my radios, which is great because I hate recurring, never-ending charges to my credit card, but I don't think XM/Sirius offers this option any longer. I've tried newer XM radios and they seem to have problems with keeping a consistently strong signal due to their tiny antennas. You folks can keep your newer XM radios with crappy signal strength and features that I'd never really care to use on a regular basis...I'll keep my Sony DRN-XM radios.

Buy Sony XM Satellite Radio Receiver Package DRN-XM01C Now

This was one of the early first XM units, and it has no extra features that all newer XM units have. It has a noisy fan. It has a display that went bad in a year and you can't read it anymore. It has NO built-in FM modulator. You have to use the big huge-sized 'shark fin' antenna with two antenna cables. It appears to have no built-in buffer as it has more dropouts than my SkyFi unit does. I suggest you buy the Delphi SkyFi2 or MyFi instead, do not buy this Sony unit unless you need it for spare parts. It's the first Sony item I've ever owned that I was really disappointed with. XM radio I like, but this old Sony XM I don't care for.

New Potato Technologies TuneLink Auto Bluetooth in Car Stereo Wireless Adapter for iPhone, iPod Tou

New Potato Technologies TuneLink Auto Bluetooth in Car Stereo Wireless Adapter for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad - - 1001-01002Basically, this peripheral is an expensive ($90) dongle that plugs into the power port in your car and connects to your phone (and other phones) via bluetooth. You can then either plug the dongle directly into your stereo via audio cable (short ~1 foot cable included) or it can also act as an FM transmitter. As far as I can tell, if you only want to stream via cable it doesn't matter if you have an iOS device or any other bluetooth enabled music device. I think you should be able to connect and stream music, though you will be lacking on a lot of the features of the device. I also haven't tried this yet so don't buy it with that specifically in mind as it is labeled as for iphone and ipod touch.

The dongle itself has just 2 jacks in the front of it, one for the audio cable and one for a USB cable. It says that it provides enough power to be able to charge the iphone / ipod as well as an iPad, if that's what you're hoping for. There are no buttons on the dongle to initiate a connection. This causes problems if you are listening to something while your car engine isn't on and then you turn it on. The connection will die and won't try to re-connect so the only thing you'll be able to do is either pull out your phone and tell it to reconnect or pull the adapter out of the port and plug it back in.

The device is controlled via your phone using an app from the app store. The app provides you the ability to find good radio frequencies that should best work with the FM transmitter and set the station the dongle will broadcast at. You can also use it to manage the currently playing song or handle the music that is currently playing. You can name your specific Tunelink device, set a default location (to help with FM frequency help) and set up options to automatically connect, automatically start playing, and even automatically load the TuneLink application when it connects.

An additional feature of this is the capability to have multiple people in the car connect to the adapter and share playback of the music through the Tunelink application. There are different modes that you can set it to to change how this works (automatically queuing, requesting to play something, etc). I have not tried this so I can't speak to how well it works.

Finally, the important bit of sound quality though I might not be the best judge. I have only used mine with a direct connection but it sounds as if my phone were directly connected to my stereo. I haven't tried out the FM transmitter portion yet, but one of the reviews on Amazon indicated it sounds "Very Very Decent" and other reviews I've read have said that it sounds really good, though suffers from the same problems as all FM transmitters.

Overall I'm VERY happy with my purchase. The convenience of just getting in my car and having my music start up as if I've got a CD in the player is great. Having the charge port on there makes it great for normal usage even if you're low on battery and it comes with a cable so no need to get another one or carry one with you. Sorry for the wall of text, but hope this helps.

Pros:

Easy connect

No hassle

FM Transmitter / Direct Audio link

Sharing?

Cons:

No control from the device (need to use a headset and voice commands or take your phone out to control things)

Can't force a reconnect on the device

Cost

This product gives me a high quality audio connection between my iPhone 3GS and Mazda3 factory stereo. It pairs easily from the first time and then I do not need to do anything to re-pair it. On short rides, I do not even take the phone out of my pocket as soon as I start the engine, in few seconds music just starts playing where it stopped last time. Of course I use AUX connection to my stereo to avoid any potential static in the city but I tried FM for a couple of days as well and it's very, very decent, volume is not much different from radio stations, and very clear sound if you take care to choose an empty frequency as you should anyway. Also, I set FM Volume to LOW for most clear sound. I can listen to Alan Parson's and Pink Floyd over FM just fine, to my surprise. Dynamic range and frequency response seem to be excellent.(this section of review is updated after weekend testing). I had other FM transmitters before and the sound never was that clear.

So I'm keeping it no questions; and it offers sharing the connection with other people in my car kids love that.

so, to be short, I am done with my car audio upgrades. Tunelink is not cheap but it's MUCH cheaper than to buy and install aftermarket ipod-enabled or bluetooth stereo; besides, it's portable. Oh yes, it charges the phone too, and even the cable is included.

Negatives? hmmm... well, it requires having an iPhone or touch.. though I've heard they have Droid version now.

Buy New Potato Technologies TuneLink Auto Bluetooth in Car Stereo Wireless Adapter for iPhone, iPod Tou Now

This thing was fabulous while it worked. It dropped signal a couple of times but nothing that unplugging/replugging in didn't fix. Unfortunately, the return window (through Amazon)expired today and it just so happens that as I was leaving for a road trip it quit working entirely. It's not communicating with the radio OR the application. It still has a pretty blue light but yeah not what I bought it for.

Update #1 New Potato has a one year warranty on their products so once I am home from my road trip I will contact them and exchange the defective equipment.

Update #2 Contacting the company was quick and painless as was getting a replacement once I sent them the defective unit. The last unit worked for month so I can't really judge the new one until that time has passed but so far so good. At the very least, New Potato is great.

Update #3 (November 2012) In the last month I've no longer needed this but it still works all this time later.

Setup, (if you even want to call it that), totally consists of plugging the Tunelink device into a powered outlet, plugging the AUX cable into the Tunelink and into car AUX port, pairing the Tunelink with your iphone and that's it. Done deal. Sounds quality is better than my factory installed XM radio. Tunelink is rock solid and I highly recommend it.

Want New Potato Technologies TuneLink Auto Bluetooth in Car Stereo Wireless Adapter for iPhone, iPod Tou Discount?

I must say that I was expecting to be dissapointed because of the price. But, this Tunelink worked better than I would have ever thought. The only draw back is that it plays the last song played as soon as you turn your car on. You can turn your bluetooth off in the settings to avoid this. But then again, it is a much cheaper alternative than having to rewire your sound system which I was ready to do. I have a 2007 Infiniti G-35 with bluetooth, but does not have bluetooth audio. I was tired of having to connect my iPhone with the audio cable in order to hear music. This worked and sounded better than expected. I gave this four stars only because it starts playing music before you ask it to. But on the other hand, the sound is so much better than CD or XM. You will not be dissapointed. It is awesome to get in the car and not have to look for the cable to hear music. It just plays, and sounds beyond your expectations. This is my first review that I write, and I felt I had to do it. I have always been the person that read reviews on items before purchasing them, and I never took the time to write a review. But with this one I had too. It is pretty impressive how such a small device can deliver such amazing sounds and connectivity. I have not tried the FM tuner, so I cannot comment on it. But, if you have an iPhone and bluetooth in your car, give it a try, for $90.00 you can't go wrong. I only hope that the manufacturer can correct the auto start on the music. But that can be me being spoiled. The more technology advances the more we expect. I was ready to spend over $300 to rewire my car just to have bluetooth audio. Sometimes we have to suck it up and make adjustments. Just being able to not have to connect a cable to my iPhone and hear the rich music with full bass and without engine noise is awesome. The sound is flawless. Let me know if it worked out for you.

Tekonsha 3040 2-Plug Brake Control Wiring Adapter for Toyota

Tekonsha 3040 2-Plug Brake Control Wiring Adapter for ToyotaMatched perfectly from the Tundra wiring harness to the controller. Very simple to mount and hook up and would recommend.

Ordered this adapter to hook up a Tekonsha P3 brake controller on my 2005 Toyota Sequoia. Knew I was looking for a connector somewhere under the panel near the parking brake. Removed the panel and looked high and low in this tight space for a connector that would fit with no success. As I was about to give up and go to a dealer I noticed a possible connector which was mostly hidden under black electrical tape used to attach it to other wires. Removed the electrical tape from this bundle and sure enough there was a connector that looked like it would almost fit. Realized there was a blank part attached to the connector and once I removed it, my wiring adapter clicked nicely into place. Attached my P3 brake controller in the indent to the right of the steering column on my Sequoia and plugged in the wire to the back of my brake controller. Great to see it light up and it appears to be operating as advertised. Word to the wise. Look under the black electrical tape for the connector and save yourself a bunch of time.
