After a lengthy amount of time researching and conversing with other motorcycle owners, I decided to step up to the plate and bought what these others believed to be the best, which was the YTX14-BS Yuasa battery. I own a 2003 Yamaha V-star 1100 and the size was a perfect fit. I was initially weiry of an after market product due to the slight differences in size [don't be]. I shopped many other websites, but I came back to my "old faithful" site, AMAZON.COM. The shipping time was better than their estimated amount of days, which put be back on my motorcycle quicker.

My first Yuasa AGM battery lasted 7 years! I used a float charter about 1 week per month. With this kind of service life, I gladly bought my 2nd one. Highly recommend the Yuasa maintenance free AGM batteries.

I recently purchased a battery for my BMW motorcycle, and used the drop down boxes to select the right model of the battery. It arrived on time and I charge the battery after adding the electrolites, and then discovered it was the wrong size for the battery opening. After several calls/emails I spoke with someone from the 3rd party that sold the battery, and they offered me a full refund and told me to keep the charged battery. No hassles and they even said they were sorry for the mixup. Cant ask for anything more. Now, I hope they went back and fixed the info in their system that leads folks to the wrong size, but I am satisfied with how I was treated by Amazon and the vendor.

This item is a bit bulky to carry around on a key chain. The flash light literally worked for half a second, even with a new battery, never to light again. I really wanted it for the lock de-icer, and that part works, or it wouldn't have received 3 stars. Good idea, but the design and 'cheapness' could be improved upon.

The lock de icer works. The metal bar is thin enough to fit most key holes and it heats up quickly given that the batteries are good. The de icer also has a hidden sharp knife for cutting a rope or the seat belt of a car. The only thing I didn't like very much is the light. It is an incandescent light bulb instead of an led light, and the switch for it is a push-button, which means that it can get pushed accidentally when there is enough pressure on it in a person's pocket, bag, or purse. This can drain the battery if it happens often.

I only bought this to help deice the lock on my mailbox. It did the trick and I'm sure I'll get use out of it next winter as well. Sorry, I didn't have any need for the other features so I can't really comment on any of those.

I urchased a green and an orange set including a wall charger, car charger and cable from AUCTION SHIPPER (Camsdigital). Neither work for my iPhone 3gs,4 or 4s. I bought a remote for my 2001 Chevy Impala, went to a dealer and got it programmed. I thought it was fine until I notice my trunk kept opening on its own. A few days went by and I contacted the dealer where I got it programmed and they said it was the remote that was making a mistake. This is a great price for a fob when dealerships are trying to charge hundreds.

This is a great radio for GMRS. All you have to do is contact Motorola and send them your frequency list and your license and they will send you the code plug. Buy the programming cable and download the free software from their website. You can set this radio up to use GMRS repeaters. Once you load the radio with your frequencies you can change the PL Codes from the front radio just like a bubblepack radio so you can use differnt repeaters that use the same frequency pair. Or you can just do it all from the software. The speaker is supper loud and clear for its size. Even if you turn it up all the way it's still clear. I was very impressed with its clarity. The mic is clear also and can be adjusted to three differnt mic gain levels. You can switch from repeater to direct easily by programming one of the buttons on the radio to do that. I ordered this product for emergency purposes for our family.

Unfortunately, after multiple calls with Motorola and the FCC, the FCC says that this radio can only be used with a business license, and for business purposes. That means it's a complete no go for personal use (even if you are a business).

The FCC also noted that the information in the Motorola manual was incorrect wrt licensing: You cannot apply directly for a license, but instead need to work through an aggregator to purchase a license.

Basically, this peripheral is an expensive ($90) dongle that plugs into the power port in your car and connects to your phone (and other phones) via bluetooth. You can then either plug the dongle directly into your stereo via audio cable (short ~1 foot cable included) or it can also act as an FM transmitter. As far as I can tell, if you only want to stream via cable it doesn't matter if you have an iOS device or any other bluetooth enabled music device. I think you should be able to connect and stream music, though you will be lacking on a lot of the features of the device. I also haven't tried this yet so don't buy it with that specifically in mind as it is labeled as for iphone and ipod touch.

The dongle itself has just 2 jacks in the front of it, one for the audio cable and one for a USB cable. It says that it provides enough power to be able to charge the iphone / ipod as well as an iPad, if that's what you're hoping for. There are no buttons on the dongle to initiate a connection. This causes problems if you are listening to something while your car engine isn't on and then you turn it on. The connection will die and won't try to re-connect so the only thing you'll be able to do is either pull out your phone and tell it to reconnect or pull the adapter out of the port and plug it back in.

The device is controlled via your phone using an app from the app store. The app provides you the ability to find good radio frequencies that should best work with the FM transmitter and set the station the dongle will broadcast at. You can also use it to manage the currently playing song or handle the music that is currently playing. You can name your specific Tunelink device, set a default location (to help with FM frequency help) and set up options to automatically connect, automatically start playing, and even automatically load the TuneLink application when it connects.

An additional feature of this is the capability to have multiple people in the car connect to the adapter and share playback of the music through the Tunelink application. There are different modes that you can set it to to change how this works (automatically queuing, requesting to play something, etc). I have not tried this so I can't speak to how well it works.

Finally, the important bit of sound quality though I might not be the best judge. I have only used mine with a direct connection but it sounds as if my phone were directly connected to my stereo. I haven't tried out the FM transmitter portion yet, but one of the reviews on Amazon indicated it sounds "Very Very Decent" and other reviews I've read have said that it sounds really good, though suffers from the same problems as all FM transmitters.

Overall I'm VERY happy with my purchase. The convenience of just getting in my car and having my music start up as if I've got a CD in the player is great. Having the charge port on there makes it great for normal usage even if you're low on battery and it comes with a cable so no need to get another one or carry one with you. Sorry for the wall of text, but hope this helps.

This product gives me a high quality audio connection between my iPhone 3GS and Mazda3 factory stereo. It pairs easily from the first time and then I do not need to do anything to re-pair it. On short rides, I do not even take the phone out of my pocket as soon as I start the engine, in few seconds music just starts playing where it stopped last time. Of course I use AUX connection to my stereo to avoid any potential static in the city but I tried FM for a couple of days as well and it's very, very decent, volume is not much different from radio stations, and very clear sound if you take care to choose an empty frequency as you should anyway. Also, I set FM Volume to LOW for most clear sound. I can listen to Alan Parson's and Pink Floyd over FM just fine, to my surprise. Dynamic range and frequency response seem to be excellent.(this section of review is updated after weekend testing). I had other FM transmitters before and the sound never was that clear.

So I'm keeping it no questions; and it offers sharing the connection with other people in my car kids love that.

so, to be short, I am done with my car audio upgrades. Tunelink is not cheap but it's MUCH cheaper than to buy and install aftermarket ipod-enabled or bluetooth stereo; besides, it's portable. Oh yes, it charges the phone too, and even the cable is included.

Negatives? hmmm... well, it requires having an iPhone or touch.. though I've heard they have Droid version now.

This thing was fabulous while it worked. It dropped signal a couple of times but nothing that unplugging/replugging in didn't fix. Unfortunately, the return window (through Amazon)expired today and it just so happens that as I was leaving for a road trip it quit working entirely. It's not communicating with the radio OR the application. It still has a pretty blue light but yeah not what I bought it for.

Update #1 New Potato has a one year warranty on their products so once I am home from my road trip I will contact them and exchange the defective equipment.

Update #2 Contacting the company was quick and painless as was getting a replacement once I sent them the defective unit. The last unit worked for month so I can't really judge the new one until that time has passed but so far so good. At the very least, New Potato is great.

Update #3 (November 2012) In the last month I've no longer needed this but it still works all this time later.

Setup, (if you even want to call it that), totally consists of plugging the Tunelink device into a powered outlet, plugging the AUX cable into the Tunelink and into car AUX port, pairing the Tunelink with your iphone and that's it. Done deal. Sounds quality is better than my factory installed XM radio. Tunelink is rock solid and I highly recommend it.

I must say that I was expecting to be dissapointed because of the price. But, this Tunelink worked better than I would have ever thought. The only draw back is that it plays the last song played as soon as you turn your car on. You can turn your bluetooth off in the settings to avoid this. But then again, it is a much cheaper alternative than having to rewire your sound system which I was ready to do. I have a 2007 Infiniti G-35 with bluetooth, but does not have bluetooth audio. I was tired of having to connect my iPhone with the audio cable in order to hear music. This worked and sounded better than expected. I gave this four stars only because it starts playing music before you ask it to. But on the other hand, the sound is so much better than CD or XM. You will not be dissapointed. It is awesome to get in the car and not have to look for the cable to hear music. It just plays, and sounds beyond your expectations. This is my first review that I write, and I felt I had to do it. I have always been the person that read reviews on items before purchasing them, and I never took the time to write a review. But with this one I had too. It is pretty impressive how such a small device can deliver such amazing sounds and connectivity. I have not tried the FM tuner, so I cannot comment on it. But, if you have an iPhone and bluetooth in your car, give it a try, for $90.00 you can't go wrong. I only hope that the manufacturer can correct the auto start on the music. But that can be me being spoiled. The more technology advances the more we expect. I was ready to spend over $300 to rewire my car just to have bluetooth audio. Sometimes we have to suck it up and make adjustments. Just being able to not have to connect a cable to my iPhone and hear the rich music with full bass and without engine noise is awesome. As long as you have a good enough alternator, these small batteries will power anything longer than any other similar battery for longer, and with a more constant voltage.

Safety Siphon - Safe Multi-Purpose Self Priming Pump

He purchased this on Amazon and is very easy to use and fast.

He made this video review because there is too many people who say they cant get it to work, and its just too simple!

This, at its most basic, is a foot valve at the end of a hose. How it works:

1. The foot valve prevents liquid in the hose from flowing out that end.

2. Each time you push the end with the valve down into liquid, more liquid enters the hose but cannot flow back out.

3. When enough liquid has entered the hose and the top of the liquid in the hose is below the valve (the end in the liquid) gravity takes over and your liquid will flow into the an empty container which is at a lower level than the full container.

The proper technique then is not to "shake" the end in the liquid but to push it down into the liquid so that each time it goes into the liquid, more enters the hose.

The foot valve does not form a perfect seal when you pull the end out of the liquid, so a little will flow back out. The key then is to push it down and pull it out fairly rapidly.

Used correctly, this is a brilliant product which I have used frequently over the past 2 years and which my mechanic had previously recommended to me. And it is even cheaper now than when I bought it. The instructions suck though.

I haven't used this yet in a "real" situation (i.e. siphoning gas from a neighbor's car). But I did try siphoning water from my sink to my bathtub.

As others have noted, it was tricky to get this siphon to work especially in shallow liquid. But after a little practice, suddenly it worked pretty well.

I found it worked best when I moved the hose really straight in an up/down motion as opposed to just shaking it hopefully.

I think the good thing about this siphon is its overall simplicity. It's basically a hose, making it pretty durable and also easy to clean.

The downside is that the ball bearing inside doesn't create a great seal. Hence if you stop shaking the hose, the fluid will flow back into the source tank pretty quickly.

I was looking for more information before purchasing this product, but never found the description I needed. In case someone else wants it, the tubing is 6 feet long which seems to be enough for what I will want. It also says it can be attached to a garden hose with a 1/2" adapter. The tubing has an inside diameter of about 1/2", and the packaging claims it will siphon up to 3 1/2 gallons a minute. It says it can siphon gas, diesel and kerosene as well as water or oil and should be cleaned thoroughly before storage. Even after cleaning, I would get separate siphons before using the same one for different uses.

I hesitated to buy this, my experience with gimmick items tends to be negative.

This safety siphon really gets the job done. I do a lot of 4Wheeling and often have to use 2 5 gallon Jerry Cans of extra fuel in my outings. The new models with the Carb approved spout are extremely slow to pour out the gas, and they also tend to spill when you angle it to empty out the fuel. Plus it was painful to have to carry these things as they slowly poured out. I really needed a solution, and not one that involved changing neoprene gaskets every few weeks.

Enter safety siphon. I saw the videos of it working, but still was hesitant, but I figured anything is better than having to do this gassing up by hand. So, I took the plunge, when I got it, I practiced emptying out my bathroom sink with it into my bathtub. Had somewhat of a hard time getting it to work. After playing with it, I realized what I was doing wrong. Because it was shallow, it was harder to begin with, but I was stopping too early before I hear a continuous "clicking" sound from the ball inside the priming pump moving up and down on its own. Second, I had the hose too high to allow the flow to reach to the downward part of the hose so that when gravity pulled it down, it would start the vacuuming process.

So, I repositioned the hose to have a more downward decline to it, and I started shaking it up again. I immediately see the water starting to flow through the hose, it got some air in there, but I keep shaking it, and then I started to hear rapid clicking from the inside ball once the water in the hose had reached the downward slope, and it started flowing out of there pretty fast.

The neat thing is, it is a vacuum at that point, and you can suck out all the liquid with it all the way until it is empty and you hear what sounds like someone finishing up the last bit of a soft drink with a straw.

Later I got to test it on my jerry cans, boy was it a lot easier to dump out the fuel on these. It took me less than 2 minutes to empty each 5 gallon can. I am very happy with this product, no spills, no having to lift the heavy cans and hold them there for the roughly 5 minutes it would take to empty one out. I haven't had the product long enough to truly rate but appears to be standard Sprint branded charger. Just wanted potential buyers to note that this does not come with the micro usb cables that are pictured in the second image for this product. The description doesn't state that it does, I just didn't pay close enough attention after seeing the image which showed the charger and the cables. Great price though.

This batery is da shi... i do car audio profeshionaly I allways recomend this battery for anyone with a system 700 rms power or more dont waste your money on a cap most caps are garbe and they suck with high power system only they realy good 50 frad would make a diffrice and thosse are like 70 more for the same price u get a battery this battery is hevey but very small with thiss your lights nevery dim befor i had this with my 2 12s cvr's i would go to the drive in movie theater and i dont like to leave the car on the hole time .. when the movie was done my car was dead now with extra battery no problum at all running the system with car off ... stop thinking just buy it now!!!

Now I'm not sure if this thing is good or if I just need a alternater because I got this thinking it will not have my lights dim but they still do I have a brand new battery under the hood so I have to look into it but just do your research before buying this the reason for the 3 stars

This battery isnt a fraud, it is just the previous version of the kinetik KHC600b, which is the HC600b. Im using this battery on 500rms amp for now and it made a noticeable improvement in loudness, and volts dont drop at all. Im upgrading to a hifonics brz1700.1 and It will handle it no doubt. I can recommend this to anyone needing a little extra power. if you have dimming lights, adding a battery and upgrading your engine grounds helps tons. look into the big 3 upgrade, I used knukonceptz 4 gauge wire from amazon and it is true to AWG size and the most affordable.
