VR3 Wireless FM Transmitter for iPod and MP3 Players

VR3 Wireless FM Transmitter for iPod and MP3 Playersif i could give this 0 stars i would...it only barely barely works if you hold it up to your sterio's faceplate, and even then, the sound is extremely low, extremely muffled, and extremely static...it's barely even audible...you get what you pay for here folks, save your money and get a more expensive/higher quality fm transmitter.

Bought at Walmart because I wanted something to broadcast to my radio, bad idea. Almost never works unless its a couple inches away from the antenna. DO NOT BUY THIS!

I bought this at walmart thinking I was getting a good deal, but as the last commenter said, it is full of flaws, u have to keep on adjusting it around the faceplate of the radio, it sucks, Literally

Cons:

Needs to be really close to your radio to get good quality I need to put it in the cup holder RIGHT under the radio.

If it falls out of the cup holder, quality gets awful.

Lets you select one of 4 frequencies they're all quite popular for devices like this, and the power is so low that my music is often drowned out by that of someone else driving near me.

Pros:

Works acceptably well under ideal conditions. You get what you pay for.

The product is just what was promised on the box, nothing more, nothing less. I will rather have a transmitter that works with a larger range of stations or frequencies, I will also prefer a different type of extension cord, it seems like the jack extension is very delicate and will easily break If I drag it two hard, however is treated with care it perform it job very well. It is a good alternative if you need to invest in an economic product that performs a good job.

7" Red Police Beacon Light

Rhode Island Novelty 7' Red Police Beacon LightNot a whole lot to say about this product for the time being, especially considering I just received the product today, however it appears to be made of good quality material and does its job as advertised. Unfortunately it does rotate faster than my blue beacon light but it is of a different brand so its not the lights fault. It also comes with a sturdy hanging wire for upside down mounting. The motor seems to be more quiet than my other beacon so all in all great purchase for the price.

This item worked as expected. I used it for a special effects and it did fine. It's inexpensive, plastic and about what you would expect for such a low price.

For the pretend policeman who has everything else to make his fantasy play come true. This is the topper, literally, and turns any bicycle or other conveyance into a police car. Perfect for kids that still have that old fashioned imagination, and think that playing outside is what summer is all about.

This light is really good especially for the price! I just wish that the bulb did not have a 2 hour duty cycle because I forgot about that and it blew out, oh well. The only other con is that over time I started to hear a sound when it rotated but some music will cover that up with ease

XO Vision IR620 Universal IR Wireless Foldable Headphones for In-Car Video Listening

XO Vision IR620 Universal IR Wireless Foldable Headphones for In-Car Video Listening
  • Extra foam cushioning for superior comfort
  • Auto Shut-Off saves battery
  • One size fits all - easily adjusts to fit any size head
  • Touch On/Off Switch and Volume Control conveniently located on side of headphone
  • Foldable Earcup design

To purchase the headsets from GM are currently around $80 a piece. I just purchased 4 for under that amount total! It does not get much better than that!

I just purchased a used GMC Yukon XL with the integrated DVD (Panasonic) and needed to get headsets and the remote ... these worked without a glitch!

One comment though to keep in mind is that these are single channel IR headsets. For example, my SUV supports two channels, one for the DVD, and one for the radio. Therefore, with a two channel headset, one could swap between the DVD and the radio/CD if one wanted. Due to the fact that these are only single channel, all I get is the DVD. However, my goal was to have the kids watch their DVD while I listen to the radio, so this is all that I needed.

I am not an audiophile, but they sounded fine enough to me. There was no buzz or hiss and felt comfortable enough. Lets put it this way ... the kids do not complain and stay quiet ... that is good enough for me.

(For the remote I got a universal remote at my local retail store for $7.)

You can't beat the price!

I have a 2009 Honda Pilot and 3 kids and the Honda's DVD Entertainment system only comes with 2 headsets. Hondas headsets are about $40-$50 each and since I don't think any headset will last with my kids, I decided to try XO Vision. These headphones work with the DVD system, sound pretty good, fit head sizes both large and small at a fraction of the Honda OEM headset price. I decided to get two pairs as back up or to entertain others. For the price of under $20 you can't go wrong.

I bought my 2005 GMC Yukon Denali used, about two months ago. It didn't have the factory head sets with it and after inquiring at the dealer for new ones ($65/each), I said "The kids can listen through the speakers... after all, it is a Bose system... I'm not spending $200 on 3 headsets!". Well, after two short months, I was ready to. I quickly realized a grown man can only take so much of Spongebob's laugh. I started searching for head phones that would be compatible with the video system. Found these and thought for the price I would give them a try. Got them today. Put the batteries in, turned them on, started the DVD, and they worked! No setup. No configuration. They just worked! (why cany other things be like that?)

The sound quality is very good. Which by my kids (ages 4, 7, 10) standards its "freakin awesome, dad!" The construction quality is pretty good but I fully expect them to break at some point. Not because they are flimsy, they are not. But because my kids are that good! They can bend a crowbar in a sandbox and at $16 a pop, daddy can afford a couple extra crowbars.

We actually bought these from Walmart, but I have resolved to write favorable review so people can get more info on specific products. We have a 2007 Honda Odyssey and the headphones for the DVD system have taken a beating from our children. Recently one of them lost the right ear sound and at first I thought I would try to fix the pair. Not so much, they were impossible to open so I quickly gave up and began my search. The factory sets are more than $50 a pair so I went looking and found these for 10 bucks on walmart. They arrived today and I immediately went out to see if they worked and they did without doing a single thing! Put the batteries in, cranked the car, and away we went! I only ordered one at first, in case we had compatibility issues for some strange reason, but they powered up and worked right away! Can you beat it? No syncing, or matching, nothing required for use. Headphones for 10 bucks? Sound is great, fit is fine, volume fantastic. Don't listen to the people who post negative reviews because they thought they would work with their portable DVD player which doesn't have IR capability. Those people are fools who didn't know what they were buying. You must actually do research to know that these are meant for in-car built in IR DVD systems. I just ordered 3 more sets so anyone in our van can enjoy listening to what's on the player. If anything goes wrong, I will update this review but as far as I am concerned, you can go ahead and get these for Honda systems. Unbelievable that I waited so long before finding these, but I am sold on them and won't be buying anything else. Take the leap and you'll be glad you did! ENJOY!

Schumacher SC-8000A Speedcharge Charger/Maintainer

Schumacher SC-8000A Speedcharge Charger/MaintainerThe meter accuracy on the SC-800A was within 0.05 volts, and the charging algorithms appear to work well, although they are not described in the instructions.

I observed that the voltage was generally limited to 15.5 for regular, 16.0 for deep cycle, and 14.7 for AGM batteries. The 30 amp capability is in the form of a long timed pulse of about 2 minutes followed by 12 amps for a similar time period, then repeating until the voltage has risen enough that it isn't required. The amperage isn't constant, it tapers down to limit the voltage in typical CC/CV fashion, although the algorithm appears to actually be more complex. For instance, on a particular AGM battery it went to 15.5 volts near the end of the charge (95%) with current at about 1.5 amps for about 30 minutes and then stopped (completed). I suspect that this was an automatic attempt to condition the battery. A DieHard 71227 charger (Schumacher makes the DieHard 71227 charger) did the same thing. After three discharge cycles, it stoped doing the "high-voltage treatment". Also, in AGM mode it went to 15.5 volts briefly during one of the 40 amp cycles. Although the instructions for DieHard Platinum and Odyssey batteries say to choose a charger with

Kensington Mini Battery Extender and Charger for iPod; iPhone 1G, 3G (Black)

Kensington Mini Battery Extender and Charger for iPod; iPhone 1G, 3G
  • Compatibility: iPod nano 1G, 2G, 3G; iPod classic 4G, 5G, 5.5G, 6G; iPod touch; iPhone 1G, 3G, 4
  • Power and charge your iPhone or iPod--extends playtime up to 30 hours of music or 6 hours of video (on iPod nano 3G) or 3 hours of talk (on iPhone)
  • Includes retractable USB charging cable
  • High-capacity rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery pack for increased energy efficiency
  • Small enough to keep connected to your iPhone or iPod

If you have an Apple iPhone 3G, then you probably have the same three complaints that everyone else does:

1) No video camcorder

2) No flash

3) Battery life is poor

Well, the Kensington Mini Battery Extender helps address the third flaw. I also bought an Incase Power Slider because I was wondering how they compared. I had read reviews and heard from people that the Mophie Juice Pack had problems with the rubber case falling off, so I decided to skip that one, although I played around with it a bit before buying the Incase.

All these products perform their basic function admirably they charge your iPhone when you don't have access to an outlet. I can't actually compare which one recharges the most or for the longest, but it's pretty safe to say that they should take care of you through most typical situations (e.g. a transcontinental flight, a busy day on the phone, or a night out with friends after a long day at work). Unless you are Jack Bauer and have a magical cell phone that never runs down, chances are that any of these will keep you in power.

But the fit and finish of these products is the real differentiator (along with price). In reverse order, are my preferences:

3) Mophie Juice Pack: Adds a little bulk to the iPhone, but the rubber covering can cause problems in the long run. But I also didn't like the design it only partially covers the iPhone, leaving the top part exposed. Seemed awkward to me, combine that with the high price, and this wouldn't be my first (or second) choice.

2) Kensington Mini Battery Extender: The design is very awkward. Other owners had talked about keeping it attached while using the phone not only does the connection feel flimsy (making me fear that the dock connector would be damaged), but it also looks unattractive. I'd only use this in an emergency situation or if I wasn't planning on using the phone at the same time. The only reason I have it as my second choice is because the price is right for less than $35 (MSRP is $39), you can have the same power backup as with the Mophie or the Incase. If you are on a budget, then this is a great option. Another possible scenario is if you want to have more than one battery extender/charger you can get three of these for the same price as one of the others.

1) Incase Power Slider: By far, the Power Slider had the best design. The two-part design completely encases the iPhone, increasing the dimensions only slightly. It's a little wider, a little longer, a little thicker, and a little heavier. But it's a very natural look, and most people wouldn't even realize it's also a battery pack. It's pretty easy to put on and take off, and feels like a second skin in the end without impeding the camera. But it is harder to access buttons, so I don't plan on using this on a daily basis only when I travel.

SUMMARY: Like I said, any of these will do the basic job, but the Kensington will do it cheaper and the Incase will do it in style.

Wanted to confirm that this works with Iphone 3g just fine. You can keep using your Iphone and listening to music etc while this is attached (it puts it into charging mode like plugging it into a wall outlet). Hoping to use this for my plane travel this week will report on battery life.

Also, wanted to say that this seems to charge fine with my Belkin Iphone charger (the set where you get wall and car charger with usb plug ins on both) it's really nice because the wall charger has two usb outlets so you can charge both the battery and Iphone at the same time without a laptop etc.

I tested this charger on my iPhone(first iphone version when they just came out.)

I drained my iphone down to 10% warning and plugged in a fully-charger Kensington Battery. It took about 70 minutes until the charger's juice was gone and it powered my iPhone to about 50%. Surely enough, 3 hours later of constant texting, my iphone gave me the 10% business.

The Good:

Truly Portable. Dimensions are 2.5 x 2 x 0.5 inches. (I'm not sure why at the time of this review, it shows dimensions as 5.2 x 6 x 1.5 units. I pondered why this was the case, and it turns out that these dimentions are in centimeters.) Dimensions blend in well with your iPhone: it doesn't stick out, but just extends the lenght of your iphone by 2 inches.

Charge and use your phone at same time: No need to wait til the power transfers.

Stylish: Yes, I said "stylish." Every time I plug this in, the other iPhone users turn their heads and wonder what my little attachment does. The brightly-lit blue energy bar really stands out and lets you charge in style.

Tiny charging retractible USB cable: While its 4 inches in closed position, its retractible up to 2 feet at full lenght. Its fully compatible with iphone's usb plug adapter, so you can charge your battery on the plug OR using computer's USB slot.

The Bad:

For emergencies only. It would be nice if this portable charger had more juice capacity than 50% of the iPhone's battery. Because of this, I don't carry it as much and only take it with me for emergency purposes. Its a good thing to keep in your car's glove compartment or at home for those blackouts.

Bottom Line: Perfect for emergencies, but will leave you wishing for more juice in the long run.

With my morning 30 minute conference calls, I barely get by each day without needing to recharge my iPhone.

What drew me to this was the all in one style design. No cables or mess to deal with. Here's the low down:

Cons:

Simultaneous charging (connected to my Macbook Pro) took a little longer than preferred, but I guess it was because my iPhone was completely dead.

Pros:

Tiny battery pack was able to charge my iPhone to about 65% from dead which was impressive in a relatively short period of time

Battery indicator was extremely helpful

Small enough to keep in my pocket without the weight and bulk

The smartest thing about this battery pack is that it leaves about a 1.5mm gap on the bottom of the iPhone so the microphone isn't blocked. Genius.

Oh yeah, it comes with a plastic cap to protect the connector if you toss it in your work bag or something.

Just got this battery from amazon today. It works great.

To test it out on my new 3G iPhone, I drained the phone's battery completely. The external battery was not charged out of the box so I fully charged the external battery through my computer, which took about 3 hours. Then I attached the charged external battery to the iPhone. I kept the iPhone off while it was being charged by the external battery. The external battery charged my iPhone back to 80% battery life. The charge took about 1 hour.

Also, I have a case on the iPhone and did not encounter any issues with charging the phone with the external battery. The case did not have to come off!

Excellent product. I'll use this just about daily at work/home.

RCA AM/FM/CD Flip-Down In-Dash With Portable MP3 USB Player

RCA AM/FM/CD Flip-Down In-Dash With Portable MP3 USB PlayerOrdered this and installed in my car about a year ago. Took some minor adjusting to get it to fit right. Seemed like very good quality out of the box. But the problem with RCA is that if it's not ordered by an authorized RCA retailer then they will not honor any warranty. Needless to say the unit I received was in need of such service. So let's begin with the PROS: The usb mp3 player is a great idea and what sold me on this unit. Not that I ever expected to detach it and go for a jog with it but the ability to record a song off the radio and then take it home and put it on your computer is super cool. It's why I purchased this unit and why, despite it's flaws I would actually purchase this unit again without a second thought. I am not an audiophile while driving. I am at home but in my car I have the windows down and am typically in my car primarily to get from point A to points B and beyond. So my needs were for a nice sounding unit with upgrade capability if later deemed necessary. That was my basic need which just about every car stereo out there matched. Beyond that I wanted knobs. I hate buttons for volume and tuning. I'm 30 so I'm still on the knob side of technology. They just plain work better. And they are much better suited for driving than a button barely the size of my finger nail. For the most part all of the controls make sense. It also comes with a remote that is a great size with all the features you'd need without a plethora of unnecessary buttons. But it is not needed for any function that the radio's direct interface can't navigate. Now for the CONS: The mp3 player is absolute rubbish. Don't expect to use it for anything at all besides recording that rare song or newsbyte. If NPR is your thing it would be very well suited. But the audio quality is really sub-par. Also the CD player tends to almost eat CDs. In fact I don't even carry a single CD in the car anymore because of how bad it is. The interface mostly makes sense but of course if I were to design the layout I would pretty much change everything. The only thing I would keep is the one-knob-per-side layout. A classic that I still think is the way to go. Sound manipulation is limited to balance bass treble fader. Nothing spectacular but good enough for me and my stock Toyota speakers.

BOTTOM LINE:

A great idea with poor execution. I would buy this again only because I don't think anybody else has done this. The idea of a built in detachable mp3 player that charges itself as you drive seems very basic but still I have yet to see another one. And at this point not having one would really irk me. If you do buy this make sure it's through an RCA retailer. Based on how many things were/are wrong with mine you're probably gonna need it.

Whistler XTR-690SE High Performance Radar Detector

Whistler XTR-690SE High Performance Radar Detector
  • Total Band protection with selectable bands
  • Exclusive twin alert periscopes
  • Intellicord-ready
  • Real Voice alerts
  • Enhanced High Performance with new Ka Max Mode

I purchased this radar detector about a month ago, and so far I have been impressed. At roughly $160, it is very cheap when compared to some of the other brands that are out there. The sensitivity is excellent on KA and K band. Unfortunately, in Southern California I have yet to be alerted to a K band threat that actually is a patrol car/motorcycle. KA band seems to be the only indicator of a patrol unit.

Laser has been activated many times, of these times I have used the LSID which gives the Pulse Per Second ID on the display. They have been in the 900's most of the time with one alert in the 600's. The 600 one was a police car, but the 900's were false alerts. So make sure you use LSID to make sure it is a real laser threat, especially if you drive the same route everyday.

False-alerts are a big problem with this detector though. I have driven on the freeway with this detector for a while now, and the K band alerts too frequently. Driving through random parts of the city activate a full strength K band alert at level 9, only to shut off completely half a second later. I have no idea what causes this. Of course, the occasional speed trap off to the side of the freeway will alert to a K band as well but it will steadily increase to level 9 and slowly back to level 1 (3..5..4..7..8..9...6...5...2...1.....). This shows that the source is stationary, and it normally will be a gun either on the freeway or just a few hundred feet off the side of the highway.

For the price, you can't beat all of the features though. The KA band sensitivity, especially with the KAID feature, is excellent. It picks up KA as far as the 400 dollar models, with a frequency display. In So Cal, 34.7 is the key. The red display is perfect for me, its dim enough to live with daily, though not at all bright enough to see during the day. I had the xtr-695 previously (it broke) and the color display is not necessary.

Overall a great radar detector if you're on a budget. If you aren't, save and get the Bel Sti Driver, the performance on that thing is insane, and false alerts as non-existent. I would not recommend the Passport 9500 series, there have been too many complaints with it for the money. I don't think they have perfected the GPS technology yet.

I travel for work once or twice a month so I wanted something to carry with me and for 99.00 on sale I figured I would give it a go. I have 3 other Whistler remotes all about 8 years old I ran this unit in each car to check to see its performance, it was about the same or worse then my 8 year old Whistler remotes , K and KA were better with my older remotes they picked up the signal little quicker and after passing the moving radar this unit went quiet the remote was still getting signal. In one location there is a K band radar speed board so I know its always there so I ran them both the units each day past this radar site the radar is facing the oppposite direction of travel the remote nailed the signal almost half mile before the new one , once passed the radar the remote keeps picking up the signal good 1/4 to 1/2 mile longer then the new one. On the way back the remote again sniffed out the signal good 1/4 mile before the new unit in fact the new unit on the dash picked the signal when the radar board was clearly in site if it was real radar I would have been nailed thanks to the remote I had warning before even seeing the board

I was going to buy the Xtr 695SE it is the same unit as this one but with out the multi color display , and this is also a unit Whistler makes for walmart called 693SE all the same inside. Most reviews were pretty good its not a top of the line Bel or Escort but for cheap it works for me for travel , but I would think that the top of the line units from Whistler should be better then my 8 year old remotes maybe they didnt do any changes and just slap new form factors on the same old hardware

So my old Whistler remotes have little better sniffing power then this new one , for the price its not bad not worth more , for the higher price get a Bel or Escort I have owned both in the past and must better quality and performance but for travel if this one gets ripped off it wont hurt as much as a 500.00 Bel or Escort but again it dosnt work no where as good as those units

Want Whistler XTR-690SE High Performance Radar Detector Discount?

I just got this less than a week ago, I'm an old time Whistler customer, and they do make stuff that lasts for years. I'm not a speeder, this is just to keep me from speeding when I'm not paying attention. I drive a large SUV so speeding is not what this thing is meant to do.

Pros:

1Look and feels just like a top end radar detector, sounds just likes the V1 for 1/3 of the price.

2Way too many features, I love the voice alerts, so you don't have to memorize the sound of every band, really handy

3Price, is very attractive VS. the top end models.

4In City mode, almost no false on X-band at all, this is the most annoying band in the city typically from super market doors and garage door openers.

5Radar Band ID, is really cool, if you can isolte the rest of the generic KA signals.

6Three years Warranty, most top end models offer just one year, and they have terrible reviews on customer service?

Cons:

1With POP Enabled, you keep getting false pop alerts to the point that going the speed limit and turning it of is much easier on your mind.

2With KA Max enabled, you keep getting Pulse and KA false signals, same as con-1

3Compass has to display the bearing next to the heading N/S/E/W, nice if you were flying a F-18, but in the city do you really need to know that you're going N320? It is actually very distracting, I had to disable the compass to get rid of this throw back feature from when detector almost went absolute due to the new radar technology so they had to entice you with other features in order to justify the price for the unit.

4It doesn't come with a hardwire kit or the dash pad as noted (What's in the box) I contacted Amazon to alert them, and they gave me a discount on the unit as a result (Thanks Amazon, Excellent customer service). The unit that comes with those items is the Whistler Pro-78se High Performance Radar Detector and not this one. You can verify the contents from the Whistler website directly.

5The Whistler XTR-695SE comes with the option to change the color display, comes with an external speaker out jack and the function keys can eliminate at night if enabled, otherwise it's the same exact unit as the XTR-690SE!

All in all, features for the price, it's not bad, I may need to tweak the selections a bit to see if I get better results, less chatter and only alerts when you really need them.

Update Jan 2012:

I just took a 700 Mile trip with this unit, after turning off pop mode, the unit is much quiter. In Highway mode, every time it alerted with a band-ID the cop was about a mile or two down the road.

I bought this primarily to pick up the highway patrol. They use Ka around here and this guy did wonderful with that. k worked great as well. Unfortunately, the unit still picks up all the automatic doors at stores. That really bothers me, but don't they all? I keep the volume at max because I listen to my stereo on those long boring trips quite loud. After probably 7 months the speaker blew. I pulled it and couldn't find anything about it on the web. Guess its trash now

Peak PKC0AC 1.5 Amp Linear Charger/Maintainer

Peak PKC0AC 1.5 Amp Linear Charger/MaintainerThe last Charger/Maintainer of this quality I purchased from another source for about $40.00 plus shipping. From Amazon I paid about $25.00 and got free shipping. If you have a vehicle that doesn't get driven much, the battery will eventually die an early death and have to be replaced, often at great expense. This device keeps your battery fully charged without over charging. It has two lamps, one that tells you when it is charging and one that lights when it is fully charged. I checked mine today and it was fully charged! Highly recommended.

Not a big fan of the Peak PK0AC 1.5 Charger. I think by now I have learned my lesson to stay away from linear battery chargers. This charger just does not provide the same performance and safety features as many of the smart chargers.

Schumacher XM1-5 1.5 Amp Fully Automatic Power Charger and Maintainer

Schumacher XM1-5 1.5 Amp Fully Automatic Power Charger and MaintainerI've had this unit for about a year now to keep my fair weather car battery up to par in the cold northeast winters. I contemplated getting one of the cheaper, brick type battery maintainers, but when I found this one, I liked the fact that it is voltage and polarity sensing. Even when shorted, the current does not flow until the clamps are properly configured & polarized on the terminals. You get what you pay for and this quality unit from Schumacher is well worth the $$.

i have used this product for about 8 months now. it is used to charge 6 and 12v batteries on multiple child electric cars. fully automatic switching between 6 and 12v. all that you have to do is hook up the alligator clips and plug it in. the very easy to read indicator lights on the front panel indicate whether or not you have a good connection. they also indicate with color change from yellow to green when you reach a full charge. i use this every time to charge the small cars, i threw away the cheap chargers that came with the cars. this is so much more dependable.

to the people that have problems, are you trying to charge batteries that this product is not intended for? the manual that comes with this charger tells you what batteries (volt and amps) that you should use it for. if used as intended, this is a great charger.

Received this charger / maintainer to hook up to my ATV battery and immediately began using it. Have owned it for over 2 weeks now and it has run flawlessly, the automatic switch over works perfectly, the included quick connect wiring makes this thing super simple to hook up to your most often charged / maintained piece of equipment and the fact that it is so small makes it super easy to store when not in use. I cannot comment on its durability since i have had it such a short time but I will be sure to edit this review if something changes in its functionality. Also, the manual clearly states that this is suitable for large batteries only to "maintain a fully charged battery" but that it will ruin larger batteries if an attempt is made to "charge" said batteries.

"Marine" and "Water Proof" need to be left off of the description.

Unit worked OK first time out, although it didn't seem to have the volume it should have had for a 4X50 Watt system. Second time out, a very brief rain shower hit and my marine water proof system quit. What little water hit this unit was blown in because the top was up on my pontoon boat. I emailed PYLE about the problem on my one month old system and they have yet to reply.

Don't people research this type of stuff before they purchase it? I bought one of these with 4 speakers to use on my fishing boat.

Everything works excellent. Decent enough sound quality. Installation is a breeze. For me the SD card function and AUX port are awesome. Nice bright display. Works for me.

The down side, controls take some getting used to & can be confusing, as in like to many options. The remote control is a line of sight device, meaning you have to have it pointed directly at the radio, but it does work from a distance. After 2 years on a boat I'm surprised the remote hasn't fallen in the lake anyways.

Would I recommend it? Sure, decent price and value. It's a great deal for a boat with an outboard setup because the power consumption is very low. My old radio got pulled out because of it constantly draining the battery down. This one does not. I can listen to for two days while I'm fixing up the boat on the driveway or working in the garage and still not to have to worry if my batteries have enough charge to hit the lake when the phone rings.

Being that this is a very cost-effective packaged deal I can't say that I'm too disappointed in it's overall delivery. In all I felt that the set up did just as I hoped for in sound quality performance and was, most definitely, a drastic improvement over the previously installed (stock) stereo.

Areas it was lacking were the overall quality cosmetically of the receiver -all plastic parts on receiver that were kinda "cluncky" when pressed. Something annoying: After only having the unit for a month it began to randomly switch back and forth between USB connection and the radio setting -this happened often and usually when it was hot out (it's not too uncommon for stereos to "freak" out when they get hot, it's just annoying!). Also, the grilles began rusting very easily and quickly from when we installed them and we only ventured into fresh water areas.

All in all, a good stereo for the price paid but if they worked out all the little issues it would be a great base stereo.

NOCO HF170S Auto Shut-Off Battery Filler - 2.25 Quart

NOCO HF170S Auto Shut-Off Battery Filler - 2.25 QuartThis battery filler was just the thing I needed to make the chore of checking the water levels and adjusting them easily. No need for two hands and a funnel anymore.

A must when you have an electric golf cart that is being charged after every use. Just boil some water and keep it filled and it will aromaticity fill the batteries to the right level.

As another reviewer noted, the spring loaded auto stop fell out and it will not go back together permanently. The product fell apart on me after the first use. The distributer replaced it; but, the replacement was broken right out of the box. The problem is that the product uses two rubber rings to retain spring loaded components of the pour spout/auto stop mechanism. In the original, the ring slipped off because of the spring pressure and the ring is too small to find, In the replacement, one of the rubber rings was broken. I had enough parts to get a working product; but, I am not optimistic about the product life. Knowing about the problem will cause me to be careful when using and I may get reasonable use for my $15. I gave the product a two star rating because the distributor responded quickly to replace the product.

The water does in fact indeed shut off upon reaching the necessary level. Makes not having to funnel water back into the remaining cells of the battery easy and a no-brainer as well for accidental overfill.

Had this battery filler for 8 months and the spring loaded auto stop has fallen out and it will not go back together permanently. I have to reassemble it often as the tip stays in the battery holes or falls off into the golf cart chassis. Going to purchase a different brand.

Schumacher XP750C Instant Portable Power Source

Schumacher XP750C Instant Portable Power SourceI bought this jumper battery because my car was stuck in the garage, and I couldn' jump it with another car.

Even though it said to charge it for 36 hours after purchase, I used it anyway right out of the box, and it started my car twice.

I like the fact that you just leave this thing plugged in all the time and it knows how to keep the charge on the unit, and, as it claims, "intelligently charge" as the label said the algorithm is smart enough not to overcharge.

The LED flashlight isn't very powerful, but guess what, in a pinch this light would probably last for days if not weeks on that huge battery.

The compressor was a real bonus. I used it right away. It is very convenient to check your tires, sine the unit is not tethered to an electrical outlet. It took about a minute and a half for my tire to go from 25 lbs to 35 lbs. And after I did 5 tires, it quit on me and the tubing got hot. I read the instructions and noticed that compressing sucks a lot of power from the battery, and that you shouldn't use the compressor for more than 10 minutes at a time. So I had to wait half an hour for the unit to cool off, and then pumped the other 3 tires on my other car. This thing makes it VERY convenient to pump/check your tires. The built in pressure gauge needs to be angled upwards a little bit to be more user friendly, bc I had to keep tilting the unit to be able to see the pressure value while it was sitting on the ground. The compressor is something I'll be using quite a bit. The jump start feature is nice for emergencies and road trips, and the 12V cigarrete socket and USB socket means this thing can be used as a general purpose battery. It's the biggest battery I have in the house, so it's nice to have it.

I like the nice compact size without comprising the proformance. The air compressor works very

well for about 10mins at a shot(just like the manual will tell you). Also nice is the fact that

using the air compressor does not deplete the battery. Still plenty of juice for a jump! Great

product for the price!!

I bought it for several reasons, I won't go in details but one reason is that I constantly left the lights on in the car. So I have it in my truck all the time.

It is a bit heavy, but I don't mind.

With all the features is a great addition to my tool set.

During the first few day a plastic cleat (to hold the air hose) broke. I wrote to Schumacher and they sent me new ones with no fuss, so I can say that their support is good so far.

And I really like to have a portable power source!!

We carry this along with a chainsaw whenever we go to the cabin. Had to use it recently when our snowmobile battery went belly up. Used it to start the snowmobile 6 times over the weekend without a re-charge. Only thing I would change is the length of the leads. They could be a bit longer but they work fine.

LCD Cigarette Lighter Voltage Digital Panel Meter Volt Voltmeter Monitor Car By Buyincoins

LCD Cigarette Lighter Voltage Digital Panel Meter Volt Voltmeter Monitor Car By BuyincoinsI kept going back to these specialists who said everything was a ok. About a year after the accident (and I don't know how many alternators from different places) I finally found a working alternator.

The first time I looked for this device (which was after I found my working alternator) it took me at least a week to find it because it apparently wasn't sold in the English speaking world. The reason I looked so long and hard for it is because I thought it must exist and it might be better than one I might make. For the task it's accurate.

The second time I looked for it, it came right up! I didn't have to fight to find it again. I bought the second one for a friend who doesn't want to convert her vehicle to maintenance free side terminals, so she can tell when to clean her top posts and clamps. Or maybe get a new battery and alternator.

I would recommend unplugging the meter when the vehicle is not going to be in use for a week or more. I have tested its' current draw at .0372 A. It is an LED device and will drain a battery (in time). The amp hour rating of a battery isn't of much use unless you also know how many hours a battery supplied its' rated current, so with that caveat in mind, a 25 amp hour battery might power this meter for 28 days (14 days with a safety factor of 100%).

Both meters (which were purchased at separate times) arrived within the first few days after I ordered them even though I was told it could take about a month.

I recommend everyone whos' vehicles don't have either a digital voltage gauge, or an accurate analog voltage gauge on their instrument panel get this volt meter. It's cheap. It's easy, just plug it in. It's peace of mind. I've had mine for a year or so and it still works, and is still accurate. I gave one to a friend.

for the price it worked as expected checked accuracy against multimeter and it was close. would buy it again.

I looked for weeks to find this at an auto parts or retail dealer and could not find one. I needed to know if my motorcycle was charging at speed. I purchased 4 of these in one order and managed to keep one on my work bench. One is on my motor cycle and my riding buddies keep grabbing it to check thier bikes. My son grabed one and took it back to college with him so he would not need to use his multimeter to help this girlfriends in distress with dead cars. Great tool to monitor car battery and charging system quick. Great gift idea.

This device does what it says. I use it around all of my vehicles and 12 volt powerpacks. It is accurate and handy for a quick look at the car's voltage. I gave one to a friend, and he leaves it in the 12 volt outlet of his car all of the time, with no problems. This is a very efficient way to monitor your car's voltage.

Ryobi P260 Lithium Ion 18 Volt 1/2" Impact Wrench (Tool Only. Battery and Charger Not Included)

Ryobi P260 Lithium Ion 18 Volt 1/2' Impact WrenchFirst, if you already own a bunch of Ryobi tools and a few of the 18v Lithium batteries then this will be a good addition to your tools collection. It is loud but works really well for a cordless 1/2" impact wrench. However, do not expect it to perform like an air impact wrench.

This is an inexpensive electric cordless impact wrench and not really meant for the tough jobs. If you expect to regularly and quickly remove lug nuts and rusted bolts, this is not the impact wrench to use. For those jobs, I have an Ingersol Rand 600 ft.lbs. air impact wrench.

If you are working on ATVs, Snowmobiles, Lawn and Garden equipment then this is a great tool to have around. It works well and quickly for those applications.

But if you are considering buying this on its own, it will cost you at least another $100 for a charger and batteries. And I don't think it is a good value then. Or if you are thinking of buying this to replace an air impact wrench then you will probably be disappointed.

Out of all the Ryobi tools I have, this one is the most sensitive about battery power. Feed this a fresh 3 amp hour NiMh (sold here at Amazon) or 3 ah lithium ion battery, it will handle just about any nut or bolt you point it at. Yet this tool struggles with tight nuts if battery is a little low on charge, or the battery is not 3 amp hour.

I did an engine, transmission, and harness swap between two cars. Project would not have been possible without this tool. I had to use a breaker bar with some head bolts. This tool can handle any head bolt after you crack it with a breaker bar.

Feed it a good battery, you will be pleased. I have owned this tool 9 months. Not as strong as a name brand pneumatic wrench, but good deal for the price. Certainly more powerful than other electric impact wrenches I have tried.

First thing I did to test this gun was remove lugs on my 4x4 truck . worked like a champ with a 3/4 charged old style nicad battery that is two years old. I put those lugs on myself with an air impact months ago.

second thing was four inch screws, no problems there. its loud but thats to be expected from an IMPACT wrench. very happy with this purchase.

I will mostly use this for construction work but its nice to know I can fix my vehicles with it too!

The chuck adapter is fantastic and if you pull the tip and insert the bits properly they cannot fall out. If this is unclear to anyone its all in the directions.

I'm already locked into one+ hardware with two drills and on my third set of two NiMH batteries. Drills have held up for 5+ years and the batteries have died predictably and consistently. I had my choice between the 1/4 in hex drive only model, or this 1/2" Impact wrench model.

My first test was to remove and retorque bolts holding bike axles on children's bikes. I used my standard one+ batteries and found I could kill a partially charged battery within four bolt-removal and torque attempts. A full charge on a standard one+ NiMH probably yields 8-10 applications of 100+ft/lb bolts.

I will definitely need LiIon batteries and charger to get more work out of a charge cycle however the investment in batteries and charger take the expense of ownership into dewalt and makita territory where I'm probably headed.

It is noisy however I'm happy to not be dragging a noisy compressor and 50 feet of hose along.

The pricing of this driver unit as a bare tool placed it in with 1/4 Hex drive units however the torque reserve is far greater than any of those units.

Unexpected benefits:

Where I would have used a stepped bit on my 18V drill before and struggled with binding, this thing will tear through any drilling task I've tried with a stepped bit. Using a little finessing with the speed I can apply lower torque and the driver works effortlessly. From that standpoint driving a 3.5 in deck screw into harder wood is like driving a screw into balsawood.

The NiMH batteries may bring more endurance to the tool however I've only used it for a series of small jobs.

If you're buying a set of tools, not tied to the one+ you have a lot of good choices. If you're stuck/committed to one+ tools and already use Li-Ion batteries it's a decent tool and will do what you need as long as you're not pushing it to 200ft/lb constantly. If you are you will be happier with Dewalt/Makita higher tier brands, air tools or electric(AC) powered tools.

Want Ryobi P260 Lithium Ion 18 Volt 1/2" Impact Wrench (Tool Only. Battery and Charger Not Included) Discount?

I have owned this for about a year now.

No issues removing axle bolts on cars, lug nuts, crank pulley bolts, engine mounts.

Its been dropped, dragged, gotten wet and still performs fine.

I prefer using this over my Kobalt air impact, as it seems to have a bit more power.

Make sure to use the Lithium battery. The Ni-Cads don't do this impact justice.

It can be the difference of loosening a lug, or not.

Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2002 Toyota Prius With Do-It-Yourself Programming

Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2002 Toyota Prius With Do-It-Yourself ProgrammingI lost one, ordered this one to replace it, followed the directions, and now everything's fine. No complaints.

I received this fob very quickly, and the instructions for setting it up were decent (although I'll warn you: Toyota makes it really complicated, with opening and closing your door a couple of times, inserting and removing the key several times, opening and closing the doors again, etc.).

The new fob looks nearly identical to my previous remote, which means it's not taking up any more room in my pocket than the old one did (unlike some after-market remotes that are a lot larger).

The one gripe I've got is that the battery died about 6 months after I received it. Now, I realize that a new battery is just $4 or so, but my original Toyota battery lasted 6 years before I needed to replace it.

Overall, a minor disappointment, but one I can live with.

I bought a used 2002 Prius that came without the remotes. I hesitantly purchased two remote, and was not sure if they are going to work. The remotes arrived within a few days. The instruction tells you to a website to read the instruction on how to program the remotes. I printed the instructions and wnet ahead with the procedure. It is kind of strange with all inserting the key and turn on turn off, then open door close door but the remotes worked like a charm. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy. I give it two thumbs up for this product and ease of programming.

2. Each time you enter the car you must turn on the monitor with the slide switch, choose the cam with the mode button, and
