My daughters 2009 Chev Cobalt key fob stopped working and upon opening I noticed the prongs that hold the battery in place where broken. They appeared to have been broken when she was replacing the battery. I chalked the damage up to a 19 yr old not know what she was doing and went online to start looking for a replacement. I ordered the FIRST replacement (not through Amazon) the very next day from a company that had really good reviews (even paid more to go with the higher reviewed, five stars, company). Long story short the fob looked fine from the outside, so I decided to pop open the case to inspect the battery prongs and found one of the two soldering points was broken and knew it wouldn't make it through one battery replacement. I had to return that fob for a refund since the highly rated company I ordered it from didn't have any more in stock. They where not happy I wasn't willing to wait on a replacement. Next, I went on Amazon and ordered another Fob (new, not refurbished like from the first company). The new fob was delivered in about 3 days later and looked almost perfect, except the case appeared to have been pried open before. I could tell by the apparent screw driver markings in the plastic near the pry point. I carefully popped it open and checked the prongs. The soldering points were intact on this one, but I don't have much confidence in them lasting if you have to replace the batter more than two or three times. Bad design GM, thanks a lot!

Unfortunately I used them for my 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt and of course Chevy makes no way to manually sync these to my vehicle. I did plenty of research on the internet and even through my very expensive All-Data program, which is what most of the major mechanics use for diagnosis, step by step walkthroughs and even legal time allowed by the government for each repair done and even that program told me I had to get it flashed by a dealership, which wanted $80 a piece, but I called around. Did some negotiating and got one dealership to flash both of my new key FOBs for $25. All in all with a bunch of internet time, research and negotiations I saved almost $200. Worth it.

I love listening to sirius in my office during the day. The channels I like to listen to are Court TV and CNN, which are not available via the computer. The only down side to the boombox is that there is no carrying handle. There is a place to put one's hand, but it is not conducive to carrying. It is perfect if you are going to put in one place and keep it there.

Here is the new and updated version of the SIR-BB2! Since they do not make the BB2 anymore, this is what you want if you have the PNP3 as it'll allow you to take the boombox anywhere! Note, the PNP2 and other Sirius receivers will not work with this, only the PNP3.

Improvements include a better and lounder volume so that if you're outside you'll hear the program much better! The volume is adjusted by either pushing a down or up button. Also it's not as "thick" as the BB2.

Plug in some D Cell batteries and you can go portable with it!

Works a treat. Easy to make phone calls with my iPhone voice dialer. Battery life seems very extended.

I have had some connection issues but cannot pin them on the device. Not sure if it is or isn't the device. Clarity of signal (in my case) depends on the weather, geography, and phase of the moon (joke possibly).

Device appears well made. Nothing flimsy. Comes with multiple mounting options. Auto charger is a removable usb port. By that I mean the standard charging USB macro/mini cord comes out and you can replace it with your iPhone charge cord. Most (like my beloved TomTom XL 340S 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator) are molded into one unit.

My wife says she hears me fine, I can hear her fine as well.

I have NO idea how you could hit your legs with this device unless you installed it on the OUTSIDE of the steering wheel. Fits my F150 like it was made for it.

And goodness knows you can't (or couldn't) beat the price. Multi hundred dollar options exist and I paid less than 20.

i bought this blue tooth device to avoid getting in accidents and tickets for using cell phones without an ear piece...i had tried many and none had the excellent voice clarity of this bluetooth system on both ends of the conversation...i have already bought another system for my father...the only downside is that placement of the device on top of the steering wheel partially obscures the dashboard...the device can probably be placed on other parts of the steering wheel (and stickers are provided for placement elsewhere) but i am not sure of the sound quality in other locations and i was unable to turn the steering wheel unless the device was on top (it would hit my legs)...

I bought this device to add hand-off phone technology to my 2006 Highlander Hybrid. I tried the various devices that hang on the ear, but they did not work for me. This device worked right out of the box. The only problem I had was finding a place for it on the steering wheel that did not interfere with my view of the dashboard. The charger does charge as advertised but I was a little disappointed with the performance. I have used many LiPo chargers and got the feeling it should be a little quicker. I put my amp meter on the charge line and found that even thought its rated at 1 Amp (the recommended current to charge a stock AR.Drone battery) it was a little shy and sometimes dips quite low at about 700mA during the charging process. In the end it does charge as advertised but not the fastest.

That being said I use one of these and found it charges in under an hour, worth a consideration ... note this charger comes with battery clips so you can open the hood of your car and charge from your car battery on location:

The cord does not allow the GPS to work while it's plugged in. Renders it pretty much useless. Other than that it does the job.

Ok so I got something similar that directly put my GPS on power sync mode so I was unable to use while driving. But here's a trick that might work depending on your GPS.

Turn on you car, plug the charger in your car (in the cigarette lighter adapter) but don't plug it to your GPS yet.

Turn on your GPS, when you see the battery sign on the top right of your screen (the sign that shows how much battery is left) touch that sign for about 8 seconds, your GPS should turn to diagnostic mode, plug your charger to the GPS then press exit, your GPS should now work as usual!

You will have to do this every time, but it only takes a few seconds to do all this....

NO RING OF LIGHT: So many reviewers of products complained about the light ring feature being a distraction. This model features a simple round green LED light that is not much brighter than the console button lights in my car. I ended up twisting the light to the 3 o'clock position where the USB connector blocks my direct line-of sight to it. If I wanted to, a small piece of black electrical tape would cover the LED completely and easily since it is away from the USB connection. This is the 1 feature I valued to prefer it over the Belkin # F8J090bt04-BLK, which has the same power output and small form factor.

Is it cheap, no. But would I rather spend less and give up some these features.......no. I would have bought the version of this product less the 4' cord if a good coiled cord were available(I didn't like the Griffin coiled cord). Thanks for reading!

The iPhone wall outlet chargers are super-quick at charging. I have gone from 30% to 90% in about an hour. You get used to that kind of speed charging and this 2.1 AMP car charger give you exactly that! Initially, I scoffed at the price for these high AMP chargers and bought a 1 AMP car charger. Since my ride to work in less than 20 minutes, I would probably get 10% more charge off the 1 AMP charger, but with this 2.1 AMP charger, I manage to juice up about 25%. The really cool part of this charger is that I can pull out the USB cable and continue charging my phone via my laptop USB port.

The charger is well-designed and has a robust construction Apple worthy! The charger sits flush with my power outlet with just enough of it popping out to get an easy grip for removal. The charger does not have any edges, it blends well into the dash with only the distinctive green bezel being highlighted adds a little color to my drab dash. I also love the new low-profile negative (outer) terminal design. No more accidental snagging and ripping the terminal out of the charger. It also helps with a smoother insertion and removal from the power outlet.

The lightning connector is well designed and fits most cases without any issue (check images above)

The car charger I was using before this was the Kensington K39224US PowerBolt Micro Car Charger for iPad, iPhone and iPod, including iPhone 4. Since I upgraded to the iPhone 5, I only had to buy a Apple Lightning to USB Cable to keep using that one, which is 2.1 amps, like this one by Belkin.

After using the Belkin, I would say it is comparable to the Kensington charger, but it already comes with a Lightning to USB cable, so that may figure in one's comparison of their prices if one doesn't already have a cable.

In a 30 minute drive, my iPhone 5 increased in charge from 50% to 89% using the Belkin, for an average of 1.3% increase in charge per minute. This seems comparable to my former charger.

Either product is excellent, and the fact that they can charge any of the Apple products quickly, assuming you have the proper USB cables, is convenient.

Taylor Cable 20670 Battery Terminal Cover - Pair

I purchased a set of these terminal covers 2 years ago to prevent possible accidental electrical sparking from the battery terminals on an old farm tractor. The uncovered battery was sitting directly under the gas tank and those exposed terminals made me a little uncomfortable. The covers fit well (snugly) and have also held up well. For a correct fit, it is necessary to note if the shape of your terminals are compatible with the shape of these covers -I believe the terminal type for these covers is called a "straight terminal". In order to install the covers over the terminals I had to disconnect the battery cables on the opposite end from the terminal (i.e., where the cables connected to the tractor) and then slide the covers onto the cable from that end -these covers don't snap open allowing you to put them over the cable/terminal and then snap them closed, as I believe some do. But, that probably makes them a little more likely to remain in place and not be knocked off.

These did not work for my car be sure to get the right product for your car.

Bought this carrying case and set of cables for Garmin 2460LMT. I wanted the case so I could put the Garmin in my carry on and not worry about scratching it. The case is ok although it's a tight fit and will probably not last. The cables don't fit the 2460LMT. Perhaps the cables will work with some of the other models listed. They're just the standard mini-USB so I'll just save them for other devices.

I first bought this (Maxsa) version of this device (virtually identical to the Sierra version, clearly the same manufacturer). All was well at first, both lights nice and bright. But after only two weeks, one of the laser lights went dim. It still comes on, but not nearly bright enough to be of use. Since we liked the system during the short time it worked, we decided to roll the dice again, hoping for a better outcome, so I ordered the Sierra version. Guess what, the EXACT same thing happened (one light on, but too dim to be of use), but this time time it happened DURING THE INITIAL AIMING PROCESS! So, I now have two of these things installed in my garage, each of them with only half of it working.

Don't waste your money.

Got this item so there would be space for me to walk to the other side of our garage (where the tools are) without having a vehicle in the way.

The first one died about a month after ordering it. The company I ordered from was gracious and sent me a replacement even though I was past the 30 day guaranteed return.

The second one is going strong and is fantastic. Just maneuver your vehicles into the places you want them to stop (and the garage door won't hit them) and adjust the lasers to hit the edge of the dash ahead of the steering wheel.

My husband was able to install in less than 5 minutes and it works perfectly. Easy to adjust to accomodate our two cars and makes parking effortless. We were able to position the lights so they hit our dash boards so we know that when we reach a certain point we have room enough to walk completely around our cars and open the hatch with the garage door closed. I have owned this for one month now and have had no negative issues with the lasers. To those that said the adjustments were limited, I too had a slight aiming problem. I found that mounting it 'backwards' (meaning the motion sensor facing the same direction you are driving in) provided a more suitable aiming pattern. To those that said the lights do not stay on long enough, this 'backwards' placement causes the motion sensor to detect the vehicles later in the approach, thus giving you more time to finish parking before the lights go out. Even with the motion sensor facing the wrong way, it easily detects your vehicle before you are under the device.

It's very easy to use and install but the sound quality is horrible. Always hear static no matter which station I tune to. When I receive a call I can hardly hear it even on max volume in the car. They can hear me well, but I can hardly hear them. For the cost I suppose you pay for what you get, but I would rather have skipped this purchase and paid more for quality. Even when the volume on my radio and phone is on max the music is not as loud as it should be. Just overall a bad quality of sound playback on this item.

I was so excited to buy this item, but the signal interfered with the radio in my car. It made an awful sound whenever I attempted to use it and on which ever station I chose, I looked online and found that this had happened with other Vue owners as well. In the end I still gave the product 3 stars though because I gifted it to a friend with a Celica and he LOVES it.

It works and its a very simple set up.

However, in my little car it tended to obsessionally tip over on one side.

Also, The static you hear when you are listening to your mp3 songs can get annoying but it's somewhat difficult to change the station because the placement of the station display is at the top of the thing and you can't see it without taking your eyes off the road longer than I, at least, am comfortable with.

The hands free talking feature is very cool and works well but listening to music is not a great experience. It just depends what you value most. I do use it enough to not have sent it back but I don't use it as much as I thought I would.

Ok, hopefully I have done something wrong in installing this unit, because no one else talks about the fact that the unit is top heavy with the Blackberry in it. If I turn a corner, the unit itself turns around. I am very disappointed at the asethetics of this unit. Any suggestions? I haven't bothered with the FM transmission thing. Sounds like a good idea, but the thing is a hinderence when it is flopping around like a fish. It is difficult to keep the unit upright, and the flexible tube is awkward to bend. At this point, I would rather have a unit that securely holds the Blackberry. I don't care if it charges it or has the call through the radio. Have emailed the manufacturer, but have heard nothing. Going to look into returning this. Too aggervating fo me!

This product works great with my Verizon Moto Droid. I'm able to listen to music, podcasts, and Google Navigation through my car audio system. Since there is nothing currently specifically marketed for the Droid, I figured this would work since it has the connections I need. I tested the hands-free feature and that works so well that the people on the other end did not know they were on speakerphone. The audio quality is as good as one could expect from a radio transmitter. I'm not sure about the durability of the spine in the long run, but for now, it's up to the task of holding up my (relatively heavy) Droid. Since this is a universal product, the placing of the ports isn't ideal for my particular phone. The audio cord comes from the bottom up to connect to the top of my phone, and the USB input is on the wrong side. This presents a bit of a cable management challenge. However, I knew this going in, so it was not a surprise.

I was a little worried that the USB charger would not work since I've had products fail to charge via USB before, but this is able to seamlessly charge my Droid via the provided Micro-USB.

Overall, though not overly elegant, this is a fine product to suit my needs.

My son gave me his old GPS unit with a burned out charger, so naturally I wanted to spend as little as possible on a replacement. A Garmin OEM replacement was over $21, so that was out of the question as I wasn't even sure his unit worked. Many of the imported knockoffs listed had poor ratings. People complained that the units didn't work correctly and were stuck in computer programming mode. I've always had good luck the GTMax brand of knock-off products so I put my faith in it and ordered it, apparently the first person do so as there were no reviews and it was dirt cheap at $1.99 plus $2.98 for shipping. But I figured, for under $5 total, I could throw it away if it didn't work. The product arrived quickly and I was again impressed with the quality construction of this GTMax product. I was even more more impressed when the big blue indicator light on the end that lit up when I plugged it in to the car charger and the perfect length coiled cord that stayed out of my way. The Nuvi 1200 unit imediately lit up and loaded and I was off on my first trip with no problems. I would highly recommend this well-priced, well-made product for those needing a replacement charger for their Garmin Nuvi 1200. Since they list many more models that take the same charger, you can probably assume it will also work well with all the models listed, It certainly did with mine.

I've owned 80-100 yellow tops, I put them in everything I own. They used to be good when they were made in Colorado, when they switched manufacturing to Johnson Controls in Mexico they changed the construction and they keep cracking. I've had a dozen crack a cylinder. These are complete crap now.

Some background: I'm a mechanical engineer and I've built and worked on at least half a dozen powerchairs used for a competitive indoor sport, power soccer. I've used a data logger to look at battery voltage under load, and I've compared MK gel batteries, Optima Yellowtops (from a local distributor), and Odyssey PC1500s. I have also seen other people using Interstate AGMs, and other "deep cycle" batteries for the same application, and have seen the trouble they've had with them.

Compared to gel batteries, the Yellowtops provide a lot of power, and feel more "peppy" regardless of if they're full or nearly empty. This is a big "pro" for people who need their chairs to perform at their full potential, but potentially a "con" if you don't pay attention to how discharged the batteries are, since they hold up well enough that you can run them down to a really deep discharge and prematurely shorten their life. I found that if you're not careful, don't take any precautions to keep them fully charged, and use them hard, you can kill them in six months.

These batteries can easily charge at 20 amps and higher, similar to the Odysseys, and better than any gels. If you keep them topped up and charge them above 28.8 volts (14.4 each, two in series) whenever you use them, and don't run them down till the chair slows down, you can get well over a year of power soccer use out of them.

They are a little smaller than other batteries, both mechanically and in terms of stored energy. They rattle around inside a Group 24 battery box, which can be a little disturbing, and they don't last as long on a charge as a set of Odyssey PC1500. They also don't hold up for as many cycles under the same use as the PC1500 because you're using a larger portion of their capacity, and lead batteries don't hold up well under that treatment.

In summary: If you're on a tight budget but want something better than gels, if these are on sale then the Yellowtops are what you want. If you really need the best, step up to the Odyssey PC1500. Also, don't forget to use a proper three stage charger that terminates the CV portion above 14.4 volts and below 14.8 volts.

Sales people will tell you "Yellowtops aren't for wheelchairs" or "Odyssey batteries aren't for wheelchairs", but that's BS. Pay attention to charging, don't trust the joystick lights, and these things are fabulous for high performance chairs.

I bought this battery through Autozone (that way I wouldn't have to worry about any type of weird warranty exchange through amazon). Eventhough i love amazon, i HIGHLY encourage buying this battery through an approved seller, that way, if your battery needs warranty exchange, you can just drop off and replace easy.

First thoughts:

After install, the first start takes a few seconds longer than any start I've had with preceding batteries. Of course, I had a lower CWA than the previous batteries, so that was probably it. After the first start and all the parts had power again, every start was clean, perfect and, dare I say, better than previous batteries.

The drain on my battery from peripherals (with the vehicle not on) is CONSIDERABLY less than previous batteries. I have no tested, nor want to test a heavy drain on the battery, but, since this battery can actually handle the drain without damage.

So far the battery is superb, and offers a lot of power to my accessories. Previously, when the sub hit hard (I have no capacitor, too lazy) the lighting would slightly dim. NO MORE! Very excited.

I'll keep this review updated periodically with any news on the performance of this battery!

Optima were an excellent battery in the 1990's and early 2000's. The batteries they built and sold in that era would easily last ten years. But in the last eight or nine years, they have lowered the quality level in their batteries to the point that they barely make it past the warranty period. I am now stuck with two gel-cel boat anchors, which died six weeks after the warranty period. That is almost $400. Both were lightly used in race cars that saw the track 12 times per year. That is 36 Sundays of use for each battery. And to top it all off, I now must pay hazardous recycling fees to get rid of these boat anchors. I will not be buying Optima brand products again.

The charging is fine and the status indication very nice to have !!!

Also I checked the audio noise during the charging my iPhone, I did not get so strong noise from this device...

The test has done with my HONDA pilot 2007 model with SONY FM transmitter via. headphone connection.

And an additional comment, it is not generating heat during charing my iPhone.
