Mini Battery Charger Kit for Olympus LI-10B & LI-12B Batteries - with fold-in wall plug, car & EU a

Mini Battery Charger Kit for Olympus LI-10B & LI-12B Batteries - with fold-in wall plug, car & EU adaptersI lost the main battery charger for my camera battery, so I ordered this one. I like that the whole unit just plugs into the wall, rather than having a plug plus a long cord and then having to put the actual unit somewhere. Haven't tried out the car adapter charger yet.

Charger arrived on time, quick service. It was stated it was charger for L1-10B and L1-12B ( which is my battery) but on the package it stated for L1-10B battery nothing about the L1-12B... I did use it and it seemed to work OK, but was not real comfortable with using it!

This charger went with me to Europe and back and worked perfectly. The most appealing part of the deal for me was the EU adapter which also functioned as needed. It is really portable I had no problems carrying it through my travels. This charger kept my camera going for about a year until I lost my camera. I cant say how long it will function beyond a year, but it had no signs of slowing down.

Crimestopper RS7-G3 Gen 3 2 Way Paging Remote Start System

Crimestopper RS7-G3 Gen 3 2 Way Paging Remote Start SystemThe remote unit is very sensitive and it is easy to turn the car on when you don't mean to do so.

I bought this remote starter for my wife. She is now able to start her car from her station at work. She works in a building that has a metal exterior and is at least 1500 feet from her car. She no longer has to get into a cold car after she is done with work, we are from Wisconsin and it gets very cold here. In fact, the outside temperature as I write this is 15 degrees below zero with a wind chill of 31 below zero! To say that she loves it is an understatement! The primary key fob has a screen on it that shows whether or not the car has actually started. It's timer function is a great idea, the car will shut off after 20 minutes if you haven't inserted the key into ignition of the car, just in case you forget that you've started the car, eliminating the possibility of running the car out of gas. I highly recommend this remote start. In fact, I'm thinking of ordering another one for myself to install in my truck.

I bought two RS7-G3 about 2 months ago. They work great. The one way side kick transmitter does not look like the one on Amazon.com. The unit does not have a seperate wire for car starter disable. I had to use diodes to split the signal for the bypass transponder and car starter disable. I had to purchase diodes and relays seperately...

Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE compatible Universal Car Mount Lighter Socket Dock with USB and

Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE compatible Universal Car Mount Lighter Socket Dock with USB and Charging PlugThis car mount seemed impressive. I liked that it could hold a phone and charge (you have to use your phones cable)it. Plus, I was happy that I could connect my GPS device too. Upon receiving it I went to my car to check it out. The set-up was simple, but when it was connected (only phone with charging cable) the charging power would go off and on. I finally adjusted angles and had it as tight in the lighter connection as possible and it would keep a steady power light. When I added my GPS unit (making everything very front heavy), the power would cut out anytime I hit a bump (unless I held it secure)which would make my GPS unit turn on and off. Very frustrating. Therefore, if you buy this item, be ready for a few bumps in its consistent bumping.

Came in 1 day earlier than expected which is a good thing! Works great! Everything is great!!! Thing is huge and powers my dual 15" Kicker L7s with ease. Only thing was it didnt fit in to the original battery space so you have to buy either a battery relocator or a battery relay. Either way its a great battery!!

I have had this battery now for about 3 years. It is bigger than the standard German (BMW) car battery. No big deal, I put it on its side with the optional side mounts. First thing I noticed, it definitely goes dead rather quickly when tailgating, etc. compared to a deep cycle like the Optima Yellow Top. The worse part is shortly after a year my car low voltage indicator light would come on if the car sat for a few days. I contacted Kinetik and they said I had allowed the voltage to get too low when the car wasn't in use for about 3 months. I purchased the C-Tek charger per their recc. and now I have to plug the car in on a regular basis to get the voltage up. I can't complain too bad because the battery is still working (with routine charge), but I would try a different brand, especially because it wouldn't keep voltage after 13 months and the company blamed me and wasn't about to replace it.

Jensen JP30 300 Watt Power Inverter

Jensen JP30 300 Watt Power Inverter
  • JENSEN Dual-Outlet 300-Watt Continuous DC To AC Inverter - dual-Outlet

this inverter does wonders. On a road trip this past summer, we drove from colorado all the way out to new york city, with many stops in between. The whole time, we had the tv and ps2 hooked up thru the inverter, and never did we have any problems. played constantly, it was great. DEFINITELY BUY IT if you are looking for a way for your kids to have fun in the car, or wherever. WORTH EVERY LAST PENNY!

I've owned several power inverters since I travel just about half of the week every week. I'm always working from the car. This is the best design I've seen so far for a power inverter. First, it has two inputs which is great. This way I can plug my laptop in and still be able to charge...a cell phone, or run another electronic device such as a portable DVD player. Another solid feature is the internal fan. This enables the unit to stay COOL. Other inverters I've had get so hot, you can barely touch them, which probably led to their malfunction in the first place. The other great feature is that the fuse for this device is EXTERNAL. Which means if it blows, its easy to replace. The last couple I've had have died and the fuse was the culprit, but since it was internal, it wasn't a simple fix. So thats a great design innovation on this one. Its also good that the power inverter comes with battery clips too..this way you can run it from the car lighter or the battery direct.

This is quite a nice unit for the money. Mine came with two cords the cigarette lighter cord shown in the picture and a cord with alligator clips for connecting directly to the battery. It has an automatic short circuit detector and shutdown, a low battery voltage alarm and low voltage shutdown so you won't wreck your car battery, and automatic overload detection and shutdown. It has two outlets, a power switch, and an automotive type fuse, and an attractive metal case. Fairly impressive for the price.

I've only had this for a week so I can't speak about its reliability. I can confirm the fan noise, but I looked around a bit and that seems to be a common complaint about all the small inverters. The outlets have a ground pin, but users should not be deceived -unless the unit itself is grounded (to a ground stake) the only ground is the chassis of the car. That's true for all of these units.

Want Jensen JP30 300 Watt Power Inverter Discount?

I was about to leave on a long road-trip. I liked the fact it had 2 plugs. But when it arrived and I opened it to check the manual, I discovered it requires a special connection to the car battery and was not recommended for most cars. I checked my car manual and discovered it could only handle 100 WATTS, so the purchase was totally useless. Please check your car manual before you purchase such an item. In fact, on the road trip, we burned out the car adapter by overloading it with 3 devices with standard car charger adapters. We also found that another AC adapter overheated, and would not supply sufficient power, unless the other devices were unplugged.

This powerful yet inexpensive inverter is very well made. With its 300 Watt continuous capability you can successfully power up various devices in your car. Modified sine wave is suitable since most of the modern electronic devices have switching supply anyway. Only direct electrical motor devices may have some problem with this.

The only drawback in my opinion is that the fan is always running what creates a certain sound. It would be essential to run the fan only in case of large power consumption and a significant temperature raise. The similar "smart fan" feature has been employed almost everywhere these days. The unneeded noise in the car caused by this fan is just a little annoyance and forced me to give this excellent unit only 4 stars.

Otherwise, this is a highly recommended buy.

GNS 5870 MFI GPS BT Receiver for iPod, iPhone and iPad

GNS 5870 MFI GPS BT Receiver for iPod, iPhone and iPad
  • First Apple certified Bluetooth GPS receiver
  • Made for iPod iPhone iPad
  • compatible to iPod touch 2G+3G, iPhone 3G+3GS+4, iPad
  • supplies also GPS information to PDA, handhelds and notebooks
  • high sensitive 32 channel GPS

Like some, I bought the Wi-Fi only iPad because I specifically didn't want the 3G capability. But in hindsight, I did miss at least the GPS capability. So to make up for my "remorse", I ordered the external bluetooth GNS 5870. It pairs quickly with the iPad buetooth and locked on to 6 satellites (based on one app's notification) through a large upstairs window in about 2 or 3 minutes. It was a little faster I believe through my car windshield. And it stayed locked on even after walking briefly into a shopping mall with it in my shirt pocket. How accurate? Two iPad apps say accuracy is within 30 feet but this reading is through an apartment window. The accuracy of Wi-Fi only was reported as 213 feet. But the GNS 5870 works very well all by itself and thats why five stars. I would not rate it less just because the "touch and slide" on and off is slightly finicky and can be unexpectedly activated by certain movements within a coat pocket etc. Its very portable at 1 3/4 x 3 inches and has a nice rubberized body except for the 1/2 inch wide plastic touch strip. The total GNS 5870 cost at $160.00, means I'm paying about $30.00 more than the iPad 3G model would have cost.

None of my views would matter though, if the GNS 5870 cannot work with the few iPad mapping, navigation, and GPS apps that are compatible with the Wi-Fi only iPad. So I discuss these apps not as an endorsement, but just to show that the GNS 5870 does work well without Wi-Fi and with no extra expense of a 3G data plan. It should be noted however, that this does not replace the usefulness or maybe the overall accuracy of the iPad 3G, as the iPad 3G has three modes of triangulation: Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS, which provide navigation assistance when some of the modes like satellite are not available. My uses however, may be in areas of no Wi-Fi and no cell towers. In this case, my Wi-Fi only IPad with the GNS 5870 will probably be as useful as the 3G model.

That said, I have tried all the following apps riding in my car with the GNS 5870 resting on the dash. The device tracks fine with the following apps that store map data internally in the iPad: Topo Maps, MotionX GPS HD and the iPhone app Navigon MyRegion. It also works fine with the iPad Google Maps but only in "classic" and "terrain" views. This is because Google's map base is not stored internally in the iPad and must be first accessed on the fly through Wi-Fi. The "satellite" and "hybrid" views are too large I believe to be cached in the app itself. For the same reasons, the GNS 5870 does not play well with Google Earth because the app does not store large data fields internally. But smaller, less memory intensive map areas and routes in Google Maps ("classic" and "terrain") can be cached and used later using only the GNS 5870. These are erased from the cache however after any changes are made. The GNS 5870 works and tracks with the app Big World although this app also uses the Google Maps data base and I'm not sure how much of that map base is stored internally.

But if you are having Wi-Fi only iPad "buyers remorse", and you still want GPS, this is one excellent way to go. And if I get lost 30 feet from where I want to go then I'm in big trouble anyway.

The GNS 5870 was purchased to add true functionality to the iPad Foreflight App in the cockpit. Since day one, it has preformed flawlessly on all domestic and international flights. It allows the iPad to be used in several different areas of the aircraft without any degregation to the quality of the GPS Signal. Additionally, I have not encountered any problems turning the device on and off as has been mentioned in other reviews. I wholeheartedly recommend this device to fellow pilots without hesitation.

I purchased this GPS for my WiFi Apple iPad and even though my emails said the expected delivery day would be more then a month ahead of my order date, I recieved it within a few days (it took some time to get to the US from Germany). The initial setup with my iPad worked flawlessly and I was able to pickup an extremely accurate GPS signal lock within seconds using the Maps app that shipped with the iPad. I was very impressed ... Until I couldn't shut the unit off. It worked a couple of times turning on and off, but now I am unable to just swipe my finger across the touch sensor to shut it off. Without a real switch, I'm stuck waiting for a reply from their email team as to what I should do to resolve the problem.

Otherwise it works great. I have tested it using the Maps app, Google Earth, and WiFiFoFum (yes, I snagged this lovely app from the app store when it was still available, no jailbreak here ;). I'd rank it a 5 star if the switch would still be working after less then a day of testing it.

Want GNS 5870 MFI GPS BT Receiver for iPod, iPhone and iPad Discount?

I'm a Flight Test Engineer by trade. IF the GNS 5870 were a piece of equipment in an airliner cockpit, it would be considered non-certifiable per FAR 25.1301(d). Granted, it's NOT a piece of equipment in an airplane cockpit, but that's where a lot of people who buy this device (myself included) will try to use it. So buyer beware. When I purchased the device, the Bad Elf was all the rage and this really sounded like a better product. I read the reviews For and Against, including several anecdotal descriptions about a quirky power switch. Admittedly, I chuckled at the thought of some who idiot couldn't get shut his device off. The day I got the device, I had ZERO problems switching the device on and off. "Swipe On, Swipe Off" I couldn't believe people were having problems simply swiping their finger across the device. It seemed ridiculously easy. Call it beginner's luck because the next day after my first flight with the device I had a couple of "mis-swipes." OK, Nothing to be concerned about. I'm sure even the swiftest of finger swipers occasionally need to recalibrate their digits. ---To digress for a second, in terms of Bluetooth/GPS performance, the until synched instantly with my iPad and to use it with Foreflight HD is a thing of beauty. It captured a signal quickly, tracked very well and I was wowed. ----My next flight with the device required a fuel stop. Parked at the pumps, I tried to turn it off and it wouldn't. 10 20 30 swipes of varying pressures and nada. I took a deep breath, shook out my hand and tried again with a very very light touch and again and again and again and still couldn't get it to shut off. Frustrated, I left the device on while I refueled and dined on my $100 hamburger. Returning to the plane, I swiped once more just for the hell of itand it magically went off. Of course, now I was getting ready to fly again and needed to turn it back on. It took me 30 finger swipes to coax it back on. The I flew home and had to turn it off again. Let's not go there. This frustrating sequence of events now describes every flight on which I attempt to use the GNS 5870. I've now got over 50 flight hours of use on the thing (and calluses on my fingertips).

This of course assumes that the unit is fully charged. As difficult as the unit is to turn off, I find that when stowed / transported inside a protective case itself in my flight bag, all it takes is a mosquito fart's worth of pressure to bump the switch, turn the device on and drain the battery just in time for my next flight in IMC.

I must admit, the next point of contention could be true of any bluetooth device. Using the supplied suction cup holder, I fixed the GNS 5870 to the upper windshield of a C-172 and while flying found that the device spat out some rather interesting EMI that caused my glareshield-mounted magnetic compass to oscillate 30 degrees in each direction. Relocating the GNS 5870 to a side window eliminates this problem.

Lastly, I've also been unable to acquire a GPS signal whatsoever while flying in the cockpit of transport category airplanes. This blocking of the GPS signal is generally attributed to these airplane's heated windshield wiring/circuitry. Interestingly enough, the makers of the XGPS150 bluetooth GPS receiver have issued a firmware update to correct this issue in their device. This coupled with their device using a revolutionary concept known as "The Simple On/Off Button" (something the GNS 5870 designers apparently have never heard of) are two reasons why I've just ordered an XGPS150 to replace my GNS 5870.

I was extremely disappointed to find that my GNS 5870 did not work when it arrived. The unit employs a "touch-swipe" on-off switch which requires the user to run his/her finger over the LED screen in order to turn it on and off. However, the unit required several dozen swipes to turn off, and will not turn back on no matter how many times I swipe it.

Contacting the manufacturer, I was advised that I must send the unit back to a service center for a firmware update.

I am disappointed on three dimensions: 1.) in the design of the product, which represents a triumph of design sizzle over functionality: what genius decided that a fancy swipe mechanism was better than a just-plain on-off switch to power the unit? 2.) that a brand-new unit was shipped directly from the manufacturer without current firmware; and 3.) the firmware is not easily updatable directly through the USB port (though since the unit won't turn on, I won't protest too loudly about this).

I'm excited about the functionality of this unit as a supplement to ForeFlight on my iPad in an airplane cockpit. But the actual arrival of the device was a big letdown.

Voltec 10-00477 Power Inverter, 400-Watt

Voltec 10-00477 Power Inverter, 400-WattWe bought 1 of these from best buy several years ago when we had a power outage for a week. We ran the refrigerator, deep freezer, tv, and lights ( not all at the same time) and never had any problems with it. It also charged our phones and mp3 players. I guess we got a good one cause it still works like a charm. If you need an inexpensive inverter, this one does the job.

It works but my husband said it;s like a ww2 tank machine, it makes a very loud noise while in use.

All Power America APG3004 1000-Watt 2-Cycle Gas Powered Portable Generator

All Power America APG3004 1000-Watt 2-Cycle Gas Powered Portable GeneratorPurchase first one, came damaged during shipping and doesn't work. I called Amazon and they shipped out second one and I have to pull it like 20 times just to start it up! When it FINALLY does work, it seems like it is going to stop again It just keeps stalling. Only works for like 15 minutes and then just stops again. In the end, I had to call the manufacturer who promised me that they will refund my purchase. As of this date, I have still not received my refund.

I bought this generator several months ago on a whim at Cost U Less in St. Croix where I live. I figure that if a Hurricane hit us it may be useful to have backup power. This proved to be one of the best purchases I ever made.

On Wednesday night into early Thursday we got hit with Hurricane Omar, a Category 3 storm. After the storm we had no power. My basement apartment that is occupied by a tenant was flooded. I fired up this little 2 stroke generator and plugged my wet vac into it. It worked great, it could handle the load the 3HP wet vac put on it (this is only a 2HP generator, we gained an entire horse :)). Within an hour and a half her apartment was cleaned up pretty good.

That night we still had no power. I was able to power up my 47" LCD TV, Satellite Box, DSL modem, and Linksys router off of it. I got about 6 hours with this load on 1 gallon of oil/fuel mixture....not bad. The next night we still had no power so my wife added her laptop to this load and got about 5 hours on a gallon of fuel.

Now it would not power my refrigerator or my water pumps from the Cistern which was a bit disappointing. The startup load of the fridge was just too great. Also, like all 2 stroke motor's, starting it can be a pain...when you let gas sit in it for a while the mixture gets a little oil heavy...adding a small amount of gas and "shaking" it seems to get it started again. You will have to yank the cord a few times which is challenging for my wife. It also is loud (as all 2 stroke motor's tend to be).

For the $130 I paid for this I got my money's worth. Just being able to get online and watch my Satellite TV after the storm made life post-Omar much easier. I am very glad I bought this product. It's not a solution to all your power problems but in a pinch such as the one I was in it has worked out great.

As with buying anything made in china, you take a risk on whether or not it will be quality. Of course, someone has to take these risks to let others know what to expect.

What you get when you buy this is, a 800 watt continuous 2 stroke generator. Nothing else in this description can you take to heart, its almost all lies(china).

First of all, you can make this as quiet as a $2000 honda gen for about $40, if you want to put some time in by checking things, fixing a few things(not that they were broke, more of piece of mind) If you dont want to do any of that, stop here, dont buy this, go spend thousands on a little honda, and be done with it. If you have some skills, and patience, continue reading.

-You must first remember mix gas + oil with this, or it will die quickly.

-You must then remember to start a little rich(more oil than needed) to seat the mechanical parts in. Id run a tank of gas(rich) with no load thru it to get the engine and electric motor broke in.

-If you have trouble starting it...make sure the fuel line is turned on...really..thats probably %90 of people who complain, or they used old gas or didnt mix it properly.

-Then(since it is made in CHINA) I would do a quick once over on all fasteners, and wires, I would recommend adding some auto wire tubing to the wires under the gas tank, for added longevity against chaffing.

-This little buggar is LOUD, Specs (from CHINA) say 65 db, well let me tell you, that would have to be(heres the catch, 65 db from HOW FAR AWAY? who knows, its china) 100 feet(ok not THAT much) or so away for it to be reading those levels. I read 100-130 db right next to the unit, and 100-110 about 10 feet away, non exhaust side. Very loud, can cause hearing loss actually at close distances, luckily about %30 can be reduced by simply making an ingenuous muffler out of a spray paint can...im not going to explain how to do this, simply look at the picture...figure it out, its not that hard, take a can, poke some holes in it, stuff a steel tube half way through, stuff with fiber glass, shove it off the stock muffler exit. BAM, expect 70-80 db after that.

-Next step to taking this little turd to honda specs (50-60 db) is making a 4(yes 4...no front) sided box, and putting a few office building acoustic ceiling tiles in, or acoustic foam if you can find some. I assume you can understand how to make a box, with one side missing and no bottom yes? Its not that hard, glue the tiles on, make sure the box is much bigger (read ~6 inches on all SIDES, not top) to allow for air flow.

Put the spraycan muffler on, start er up, I add a small fan behind the unit, that will be in the box with it to help cool it, as a downside of anything that absorbs sound is it usually is very insulating.

So put the fan behind it, off to the side, cover er up, aim the exhaust away from you, walk 10 feet away, and PRESTO, 60 db ratings, or close to HONDA specs...

Can be done in one day, so is $1800 in savings worth one day of project work to you? If no, buy a honda. If yes, well get this made in china sucker, and put a little effort into your savings.

(will add pics soon)

-Brad

I have the Champion version of this generator. I bought mine at Cabelas for $100. It required starting fluid when I first bought it because I used it so infrequently and it would smoke after I started it. After 3 years of owning it I bought a travel trailer with a small 5000 btu AC. I have used it many times to run the AC and a few accessories. It does a good job. After actually running for a few hours and getting broken in, it now starts on the first or second pull, actually gets more quiet under load, and I can keep 700-800 watts consistently powered. I only gave 4 stars because it was hard to start before the break in was done. Fuel economy is not great, but it is a cheap genny that does exactlly what it is suppose to do!

Well, I am Festival & Fair vendor. I booked a Labor Day weekend event that required me to provide my own electricity. I figured i'd buy a small portable generator to provide electricity to a strand of lights strung around my tent. Amazon has been great all around. I got it in 2 days like promised. I took it to my festival. I am a woman and it was easy enough for me to start. I ran it for like 3 hours. I was packed with customers and the light just died. Customers fled, money was lost. Other vendors tried to get it started but upon inspection realized the gas was pouring out from the bottom. I had no lights what so ever for the rest of the night. Now I am forced to buy a 500.00 generator from the local Home Depot in order to salvage my weekend. Stay away, stay far away from this hunk or crap or it to will leave you in the dark.

DB Link BTN1 Negative Battery Terminal

DB Link BTN1 Negative Battery Terminal
  • Negative Terminal
  • 4-,8-,10-Gauge Input

Years and years ago I moved the battery in my Saab 900 from the front, crammed in against the turbo, into the trunk. I used an Optima Red Top probably not the best battery, but what was available at the time in a sealed, non-venting battery. The battery cable was all very high quality braided, silicone insulated stuff but the terminals I've used have been crappy parts store pieces. Inexplicably, I found it IMPOSSIBLE to find battery terminals that fit the negative post of this battery properly they were always loose, and no matter how hard I clamped down never fit right. A couple years back my Red Top stopped holding a charge, so I replaced it with another Red Top and had the same stupid problem with the negative post! So I tried other terminals... and nothing seemed to work right. This stuff is standardized so I can only blame cheapo terminals from Autozone. My last negative terminal literally broke in half over the winter, so I replaced it and the positive side (hey, they gotta match) with these DB Link parts. I was not up for spending $80 on solid gold, LED whathaveyou terminals I just wanted a nice piece that would fit well and last. I think I've found what I was looking for. These terminals installed easily on my battery cable, clamped BOTH posts tightly and completely, and in general appear nicely made. For thirteen bucks each, I think they were a superb choice and I'm looking forward to a long term relationship. In fact, I think I'm gonna order another pair for the other Saab!

After spending hours working on this POS in 100 degree heat I can tell you that you're better off trying to remove your own appendix than buying this thing. The problem is that the ring is simply too large to get a secure fit on the negative post of most batteries. Even screwed in all the way to the point of nearly shearing the screw I can still spin the terminal on the post. I even tried making modifications to it but to no avail. Don't waste your time or money on this. You'll just end up with more gray hairs than you started with. I only wish I could rate it 0 stars. Actually I think they OWE me stars, that's how bad it is.

Lelani Dashboard Hula Doll - Flower Placing Pose / GreenI just got this in the mail today. Shipping, at the very least, was very speedy. However, when I opened my package, I noticed that not only was my hula girl wearing a yellow dress, not a green one, the dress was made of string and not any straw type substance. The hula girl looks nothing at all like the picture, even the base is different. The hand positions are flat and unnatural. Overall, the hula girl I got in the mail from this company did not resemble what I was led to believe I had ordered.

I ordered this for a friend who wanted to use it to keep her focus on preparing for an upcoming vacation. The figurine was exactly as depicted, well painted and with shimering skirt. Came ahead of projected time. She shakes like quake the only problem is the double sided tape does hold fast to the dash, could be the sun/heat exposure, sticky back velcro seams to have done the trick.

Like the other reviewer said. It's doesn't even resemble the picture at all. Bought as a gift for bf and when we went to put it up. The skirt (yes they were made of strings and not the straw materials)immediately fell apart. I got some super glue and put it back but now the sticker on the base doesn't stick well. I decided not to bother returning it because it seems more like a hassle instead. She now sits in front of his monitor doing nothing.

Don't be like me and think I was going to get lucky. And I doubled check, this is the one I ordered from.

I know this is going to sound crazy and maybe a little insane, but bear with me here. Okay, here goes: this product is exactly what it says it is, and exactly what you think it is. No more, no less.

I have no idea which sellers the customers who complained about getting the wrong item ordered from, but for what it's worth, I just received the item pictured. The paint could have been a little better, and the skirt glued a little straighter, but on the other hand it isn't supposed to be fine sculpture, so I'm pretty happy overall.

USB AC Wall Charger for iPod

USB AC Wall Charger for iPod
  • Compatible with iPod 3G, 4G, 5G, nano 1G, 2G, 3G, iPod classic and touch
  • Includes dock connector-to-USB cable and shuffle cable

Bought this to charge the 3 ipods we have from the wall sockets. Use them all the time on trips and this way we don't have to bring a laptop. Works great and with the Belkin name we know that it's not going to harm the sensitive electronics these apple products have. can charge almost any apple product out there except maybe a laptop. get it.

I like the Belkin brand, but the item I got was not the same as the picture. The cable does not have lock-release buttons; which was the only reason I bought this item. I didn't need the shuffle cable nor the wall adapter, just the ipod charger cable. It's way too much trouble to return, so I'll just give it away, but beware.

Additionally, the ipod/itouch will not sync using the supplied USB cable.

This charger is good for charging only. The cable can't be used as a data cable for the Ipod. This is adjustable voltage, so good for travelers.

Do not buy this product if you have a 3G or 4G iPod Shuffle...the tip will not go all the way into the port for charging. The charging cord meant for the Shuffle has four weird pieces of plastic jutting out all around the metal tip making it impossible to insert the tip all the way into the port. I was puzzled as to why it was made with these protrusions, so I scanned the manual that came in the package and the packaging itself and in teeny tiny letters I found the problem "for use with 2G Shuffle only". Would have been nice to know this before I bought it. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am sick and tired of these companies not giving accurate or full descriptions of their products. I would think Amazon would monitor this to cut down on items being returned!

LuguLake 12000 mAh Multi-function 12V 400Amp Portable Jump Starter with LED Flashlight, Power Bank

LuguLake 12000 mAh Multi-function 12V 400Amp Portable Jump Starter with LED Flashlight, Power Bank / Pack exteral power Battery, 12V Car Battery Charger, Output 5V/12V/19V, WhiteI was provided this power bank for review with the understanding that I will not be reviewing the jump start feature. Taking the battery out of my car or waiting for it to die was impractical, but there were so many other features to test.

I have never owned a power bank with so many functions. It's a power bank for laptops and small devices, a jump starter, and a flashlight all stored neatly in a lovely zippered case with a hand strap. I was impressed with the presentation.

JUMP STARTER

The power bank comes with two jumper cables. The wires are small in diameter compared to any jumper cables I've ever owned, but I'll keep this in my car in case I ever need it.

FLASHLIGHT

Other power banks have one little LED bulb they call a flashlight. This power bank has a real flashlight. It's bright, with multiple modes: always on, strobe, or flashing. Pay attention to the flashing. It doesn't just flash, it flashes SOS.

CHARGING A LAPTOP

This is the only power bank of 12000 mAh or smaller I've ever owned that not only charges small devices like cell phones and tablets, but also laptops.

It comes with eight laptop connectors. We have to just test them out to see which ones fit. I asked for a list from the manufacturer for the compatibilities and was given the following:

1) 4.8*1.7mm Asus/HP/NEC/Delta/Compaq

2) 5.0*3.0mm (with 1.0mm pin) Samsung

3) 5.5*1.7mm Asus

4) 5.5*2.1mm IBM/HP/NEC/Toshiba

5) 5.5*2.5mm Asus/HP/NEC/Delta/Compaq/IBM/Dell/Toshiba

6) 6.0*4.4*1.4mm Fujitsu/Sony/Samsung

7) 7.4*5.0*0.6mm HP/Dell

8) 7.9*5.5*0.9mm IBM/Lenovo

The connectors are labeled with letters in my kit, not numbers. The one labeled "C" fits my husband's Toshiba Satellite. None of them fit my Asus Eee PC.

I was impressed. It charged my husband's power hungry 17 inch laptop from dead to 60%. I didn't expect a full charge from a 12000 mAh power bank. I was happy it could do as much as it did.

CHARGING SMALL DEVICES

The power bank comes with seven connectors for small devices. I was emailed a couple of lists to identify the connectors. Both were different and neither of them appeared to match what I have. Here's the best I could come up with after some internet searching of connector photos and comparison with connectors from my other power banks:

* micro USB

* mini USB

* Nokia DC 2.0

* PSP

* LG

* Sony Ericsson

* Samsung G600

I am very sure of the micro USB and mini USB connectors, but beyond that is just my research and I could be wrong, as I don't own the other devices to test them out on.

I was able to charge my Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablets from dead to 83%. I'm a little disapointed with that. My other 12000 mAh power bank could give my Fire HD tablet a full charge with juice left over.

Of course, this power bank can also charge my iPhone 4S, though the connector for that is not supplied.

PROS:

+ multi-function: jump starter, power bank, flashlight

+ charges laptops

+ flashlight has multiple modes including SOS

+ comes with a case

+ comes with 8 laptop connectors and 7 small device connectors, neatly organized

CONS:

charges with AC adapter instead of a USB cord

larger than other 12000 mAh power banks

charging cable fits both input and output ports (easy to make an error)

does not fully charge a Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablet

small diameter for jumper cables

OVERALL IMPRESSION

My very first reaction when I opened the box was wow. This is a very good multi-function device. I've never had a power bank that could do so much. It's good to have in the car or on a camping trip or for emergencies.

If all you need just a power bank for charging cell phones on the go, I would go with something smaller, more portable. For a device that does everything, this is a great choice.

This product was provided for review by LuguLake Direct.

I've been playing with this kit for a while and really like it. The battery pack is a powerful one and at 12000 mAh is one of the best I've used. I tried a quick test on my iPad and it powered up in record time. If it can rapidly juice up a power hog, undoubtedly it will work with all your small devices. There are adapters for almost any kind of device. It doesn't have the 30-pin iPad/-iPhone adapter because you don't need it. You simply take off the plug and hitch your USB cable into the side of this unit.

One of the interesting things we accidentally discovered was a safety feature that would be perfect if you are on the road. You hold down the switch for three seconds to turn on the LED light, which is reasonably bright. If you lightly tap it again, you receive a strobe. Another light tap and you get the standard SOS signal. This was instantly recognized by another family member. If you never have to use this battery pack to jump start a car, it's worth carrying with you just in case of emergency. Everything comes in a nice faux leather case that closes with a dual nylon zipper system.

~ Mobile phone switch cable

~ 8-piece mobile phone connector set

~ Car adaptor

~ Home adapter

Input: 100 240V AC 50/60Hz

Output: 12V DC 1000mA

If you look at the interface you'll see from left to right a 19V 3.5 output port for a laptop, the battery indicator (five blue LED lights), a power switch, a 5V 2A output port for Smartphones, tablets, Kindle Fire, etc. a 12 V 5A output port for batteries, and a 12V 1A input port for self-charging. On the left-hand face there is the bright LED light/emergency signal and the port for the charging cables. The labeling has been silk-screened on and because it's silver, there isn't much contrast. I had to turn it back and forth to be able to read it, otherwise it blends in. My cables had a short in them so I was unable to try them with a car. This would be perfect to keep on hand for small engine batteries and general use. I really like this battery pack, especially because with all the added adapters, it's very useful even if you don't have to charge a car.

Buy LuguLake 12000 mAh Multi-function 12V 400Amp Portable Jump Starter with LED Flashlight, Power Bank Now

By par, this is the biggest battery power pack that I have. It also has the most attachments and accessories being a multi-function charger and car jump starter. It came with a zippered black leatherette case that otganizes everything with straps for each kind of attachments.

It came with 3 LEDs lit (out of 5 for full charge) so I plugged it to the wall with the AC adapter. The AC adapter is multivolt, it works 100V to 240V and 50 Hz to 60Hz, making it compatible with a lot of countries. It can also charge using the included cigarette lighter plug. Besides the 5V, 2Amp USB output that is normally used for tablets and phones, and the jump starter, it also provide a 19V, 3.5Amp output for notebooks and 12V, 2A output for a variety of car accessories.

For smaller charging jobs, it work excellent for my iPads, smartphones and mini speakers. With all the accessories included, what notably missing are the 30-pin Apple connector and the Lightning cable.

To jump start a car battery, it is important to make sure the power pack has enough juice. It should not have less than 3 LEDs in capacity which represents 60% of total full charge. Also you have to disconnect the charger within 30 seconds after starting your car. I have yet to test the full feature of the jump starter though. My battery on the Accord is three years old but not comletely gave up the ghost; so having this in my glove compartment will hopefully prove to be useful in times of emergency.

I have several power packs with LED flashlights, this has the brightest lamp I have seen so far. You turn it on by pressing the power button for two seconds. It will cycle from steady light and two modes of emergency flashing lights fast and slow.

The user manual is short but has done well explaining how to use the charger/jumper. Don't lose it or make a digital copy for future.

I was provided a sample of this product, so I could use it and write my unbiased review.

(#1 REVIEWER)This power pack combines many charging capabilities: mobile devices, laptops, and a car. This unit performed exceptionally well with my mobile devices (details below), jumper cables measured with a volt meter showed 12.24v which is sufficient to start a car, however it did not perform well recharging my laptop as I will detail below.

GENERAL

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This power pack is fairly small in size. The power pack itself is 3"x6"x1". It comes with a 7"x10"x1.5" faux leather case, which holds the unit and various cables and connectors that come in the package.
In addition to charging functions, the power pack has a led light. The light is very powerful and bright. It also has several modes: in addition to the steady light, it has a fast blink, and a slow blink. I plan to keep this charger in the car, and the blinking function could be quite useful in emergency situation.
I am attaching a photo collage that I will be referencing in this review, the photos can be located by following 'customer photos' link under the main photo. Photo #1 is a photo of the leather case with all the items included in this package. The package include 7 connectors for mobile devices, 8 adapters for laptop power port, and also includes a wall outlet adaptor, 12V car charger, and jumper cables with battery clamps.
MOBILE DEVICES
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The package contains 7 connectors for mobile devices, including mini USB and USB. The other connectors are not labelled and not explicitly listed in the documentation. I have tested this unit with four of our mobile devices (Nexus 7 Tab, Galaxy Nexus Phone, Galaxy 7.7 Tab, and iPad Mini). Mini USB fit my Nexus devices, but none of the included plugs fit iPad Mini or Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.

I always use the same test to measure the performance of various power banks so I can compare the relative performance of each unit. I charge various mobile devices for 10 minutes and measuring how much each unit was charge in that 10 minute period.

Here are the results of my tests with LuguLake 12000:

✔ Nexus 7 Tab:_____________________3%___ AC source

✔ Samsung Galaxy Nexus Phone:______8%___ AC source

✔ iPad Mini:______________________ 4%___ AC source

✔ Samsung Galaxy 7.7 Tab:_________ 4%___ AC source (with charging cable, discharging with a data cable)

I use Battery App by Elvison to determine how each device recognized the charging source. 'AC' status means the charging is at full charging rate. 'USB' status indicates charging at a lower charging rate. 'Discharging' status means that the charging rate is below the power that the device is consuming so it slows down the discharge rate but does not re-charge.

Photos #4,5,6 show the various devices as I was running the tests.

Prior to this battery pack the best test results I got was from Yubi Power YP840A 8400mAh (Nexus 7 was 7%(port1) and 4%(port2), Nexus phone was 7%(port1) and 8%(port2), Samsung Galaxy 7.7 3%(port1) and 0%(port2). As you see this one is on par or better with the best I have tested.

JUMPER CABLES

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To test the jumper cables, I attached the volt meter to battery clamps. As you can see in photo #2, the reading is 12.24v which is sufficient to jump the car. I now keep this case in my car and will update this review when I will have a chance to use it to restart a dead battery.
To jump the car the power back should be more than half full of charge. There are 5 lights that indicate the charging state of the pack and it should at least 3 light out of 5 on with a steady blue light. The manual recommends recharging the power every three months when it is not in use.
LAPTOP
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The package contains 8 adapters for laptop power plug, and one of them fit my IBM laptop.

✔ Laptop:_______charged from 20% to 35% in 30 minutes (external battery pack went from 100% full to empty)

By comparison, Intocircuit Power Castle Series PC26000 power pack, charge the same laptop from 5% to 69% in 1 hour (external battery pack went from 100% full to empty).

When LuguLake 12000 was done charging my laptop, I touched it to unplug from my laptop and had to drop it back on the table. It was extremely hot. If you use the power pack to charge your laptop please be careful how you handle immediately after it finished charging. The unit cooled off in about 10 minutes.

OTHER NOTES

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. The labels for outlets on the unit are written in faint grey font, they are hard to see on white background. Input and output ports look very similar, and the labels are very important.
2. The package itself and the manual are aimed at a Chinese market. Some of the writing in the box does not have English translations. The manual has one side in Chinese and the back in English. All but one page of the manual appear to have the same content, but Chinese language has one page that was not translated.
I received this unit for evaluation and testing from manufacture. Based on the tests it performed very well with my the mobile devices, but did not do well with the laptop. I also like the leather case that keeps everything neatly together.
Want LuguLake 12000 mAh Multi-function 12V 400Amp Portable Jump Starter with LED Flashlight, Power Bank Discount?
I was a bit skeptical (to say the least) when I was contacted by LuguLake to test and review this battery charger. I've charged my iPad and cell phone many times using batteries like this, but jump starting a car? Running my computer? After several e-mails concerning what it did (and how it did it), I agreed to accept a complimentary sample to consider for a review.
I don't think there is anything else out on the market today that does all of the things that this little battery (about the half size of a paperback book) does. Here are some of the features that really impressed me:
1) The sheer variety of the tips. You can charge anything, from cell phones to computers just attach one of the tips and hook it up. This will likely be the most used function from my perspective, it states it will run a computer up to 3 hours. Since computers vary in power consumption, I would carry it as a back up, but would test it before I considered how long it would charge my personal computer.
2) It has ALMOST every type of tip to charge mobile phones and devices. Well, except for the iPhone and iPad. If you are planning to use it to charge one of those, you will need to keep this specific cord in this kit.
3) It has connectors to jump start your car. You connect the red clamp to the positive and the black clamp to the negative (I know this is standard, but I wish they had put a small mark on the clamp, I have added a label in case I can't read the instructions if I ever need to use it). Then you plug it into the battery and turn it on, you can then start your car. Once it is started you simply remove the cables.
Will it work? That was the topic of several e-mails back and forth with LuguLake. They actually recommended that I disconnect my battery and use this to start the car to confirm it. In fact, they were very confident that it would work that way, since reviewers in other countries have done the test to prove it works. They actually ASKED me to try it so that I could confirm that it would work. They were confident enough of their product, that it impressed me. However, testing it this way was a bit out of my area of expertise, and I chose not to do so.
Along this same line, you might wonder about the batteries that use the power plug in your car as an alternative. These are actually small trickle chargers that take about 20 minutes to charge your battery enough for it to start on its own. LuguLake has decided to make theirs in a way that will actually jump start the car, so you can get on your way immediately. It is supposed to support three jump starts on your car, but hopefully you will need only one.
4) You can charge the battery either using the included charger for the car OR using your home power. Mine arrived fully charged. You need to "top it off" about once a month to make sure you have power when you need it, or make sure it is charged anytime you have used it. The car charger makes this easy if you are keeping it in your car.
5) It has an emergency light, with two kinds of flashers. In order to turn it on, you hold the power button down for approximately 5 seconds. You can then cycle through the different modes.
6) All of this comes in a nice black case about the size of a large hardcover book.
I have been able to test all of the features except for the jump start feature and actually hope I never need to test it under live conditions, and am happy to be able to recommend it to you based upon my experiences.
Associated Equipment 6006 6/12/24V 70/65/30 Amp Charge 280 Amp Cranking Assist Charger with Wheels
Associated Equipment 6006 6/12/24V 70/65/30 Amp Charge 280 Amp Cranking Assist Charger with WheelsI purchased this charger because of its versatility and durability (Heavy Duty).
It is a great charger except for one deplorable thing! It has heavy plastic insulation on the cables and electrical cord! They are so stiff you would think it was crap from China, and that's just at 50 degrees F. I have no idea how much more contemptable they'll be when the weather REALLY gets COLD, when a person generally most often needs a charger. So if you want flexible cables get one with rubber insulation.......yeh right, like anyone nowadays bothers to tell you that or even mention the type of insulation. If it gives me problems at 25 degrees below F., I will probably swap them out with #3 or #4 welding cable, and if I do, they will will be 3 feet longer, to reach high up on my old tractors.
Had this charger the aforementioned excellent cable insulation, I would readily give it 5 Stars. This charger does not have all the bells and whistles, to go haywire, plain, simple, durable, and will hopefully last 20 plus years easily, as long as no dummy goes and touches/sparks the charging clamps together! (Knocks the sap out of and dramatically shortenes the life of the rectifier(s).
I hope someone at Associated reads and fixes this, until they do I will have to recommend Century brand made in Minnesota....it gets cold there, they know. One would want to make sure about the cable insulation first, though.
My Matco (made by them) lasted 28 years, with only 2 recifier replacements, now not to be had) Don't get me wrong, Associated is good American built product, it is just a shame they cut a corner. lssmonikeratyahoodotcom
We have a lot of Equipment that are 24 volt systems and this just what we needed to service them. I would reccomend this to other customers.
Schumacher INC-12V-OBD 6' Cable Assembly
Schumacher  INC-12V-OBD 6' Cable AssemblyI have a mercedes benz c-class and have hear horror stories of people unpluging their batteries to change them. On some mercedes models it can damage the safety systems, security system, and delete the cars memory of driving habits and the engine control unit. This is essentially a DIYer version of what the dealer uses. Mercedes benz wanted to charge over $300 for a new battery, and thats when I bought this and saved over half that amount. Even if you dont have a benz or beamer, this thing saves the radio settings, and any other memory settings on the car so its definitely a must for ANY time you disconnect a battery from ANY car. I highly recommend it. Keep in mind you will need a power source for this. I just bought an extension with aligator clips and I just connect it to a motorcycle battery I have laying around. ALSO, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you not touch the positive side of the battery cable to ground (metal) when changing the battery since the ECU is still hooked to power, and this could seriously damage the car, and when a positive battery cable is unhooked, its rather easy to do, so take care and keep that in mind.
The OBD2 memory saver is a great product for '96 and newer vehicles. I have used this item a dozen times since I purchased it. Not having to retrieve anti theft codes, reprogram memory seats, etc is such a headache reliever. Great product.
