Samsung ECS-K1E1BEGSTA Car mount kit for SGH-I717 with Suction Holder, Dashpad and Car Charger - Re
fit like a glove.
when phone is docked, it defaults to 'Voice talk' profile until changed
3.5mm audio out, when docked audio default to output until changed in settings
dedicated power port
included dc power cord (4 feet)
strong suction
comes with dash plate
one issue...if phone in direct sunlight...dock and phone get very hot.
Another issue...if using Samsung cover it barely fits in the dock. The good:
1. The sliding micro USB connector connects and disconnects from the device very easily.
2. Many apps have functionality that is only activated when dock connector is engaged (eg. Spotify actually switches to landscape orientation).
3. The phone fits the mount perfectly, and looks nice mounted on the dash.
The bad:
1. There is very annoying interference from the car engine when using the audio out from the dock. I tried two chargers (including the official Samsung car adapter), and two audio cables, thinking it may be a grounding issue, but the interference remains. My Kensington LiquidAUX Bluetooth hands-free/charger has no interference at all, so I have to suspect this dock is at fault.
2. The package did NOT include the mounting plate that was advertised.
3. The suction cup doesn't adhere to any surface (including the glass) for longer than 15 minutes without falling off. The mounting plate would probably solve this had it been included. I was uncomfortable leaving my phone in the unit for fear it would take fall damage, until I worked around it by milling two channels through the base with a Dremel tool, and driving two bolts directly through it and into my dash, mounting it very securely.
4. The dock angles up and out at a steep angle, and the plastic isn't rigid enough to support the weight of the phone, causing it to shake a great deal while driving. The phone fits so tightly that it's in no danger of falling out, but the rattling noises caused by this are extremely annoying. I fashioned a kick-stand out of a small aluminum rod to solve this, but a product should not require this many workarounds.
Other thoughts:
I can't fault Samsung for their precision engineering on this, but this dock is incompatible with every case I have, including the 0.2mm ultra-thin case I purchased hoping it would fit. If you feel a case is a necessity to protect your camera lens, look for a different dock. The base and suction cup are great quality and attaches nicely. I was looking for a mount for a Galaxy Note 2 and this one came up and appeared to fit the bill. When I got it mounted, the Note 2 didn't fit well. You have to angle it just right in order for it to charge properly. I have already gotten rid of the packaging so can't send it back and had to buy another one. I don't know if it is designed for the Note 1 and the changes were just subtle enough to make the mount not suited for the Note 2. Shame on me for not keeping the packaging, but a little disappointed that the description was misleading.Be aware, this won't fit the Note 2 at all.
Check out the iBolt. Its great and a perfect fit with any case installed. It does not fit Samsung Note II !
Otherwise it looked solid, OEM product. I was forced to purchase aftermarket holder. Not happy camper

DEWALT Bare-Tool DW059B 1/2-Inch 18-Volt Cordless Impact Wrench (Tool Only, No Battery)
While I've found this impact wrench to be more than capable, it has two major short-comings for those considering a battery operated impact for shop/professional use.
First, the anvil incorporates a detent pin, for retaining the socket. This makes the placing/changing a socket on the impact difficult, for most sockets. While those sockets with considerable wear usually go-on without much fight, most sockets either have to be forced onto the anvil, or the detent pin has to be manually depressed to get the socket to slip over the pin. Removing the socket can be even more problematic, if the detent pin is accidently placed into the retainer-hole that is drilled into most impact sockets. You must use a small diameter phillips or torx screwdriver to manually depress the detent pin, before it will release the socket.
Second, the "trigger" switch is non-standard and functionally poor in design. Unlike most impacts, the switch is a pivoting type of rocker-switch that is approximately 2" in length. This requires you to either reposition your hand to change from removing a bolt/nut to tightening a bolt/nut or to use your index finger for removal and ring-finger to tighten. Several people "inadvertently" used the impact in the wrong direction before getting use to the rocker-switch, and in one case significant shop-time was wasted extracting a bolt that was sheared as a result.
To the positive, this impact is very strong when it comes to bolt/nut removal. I've had it remove 32mm axle-nuts, where a 25" breaker bar could not "break" the axle-nut loose after repeated tries and this was not on a fresh battery. I routinely use it to remove pinch-bolts (spindles), subframe bolts (front wheel drive transmissions), and U-bolts (rear axle assemblies), without any significant problem.
Overall, I rate this cordless impact as follows:
Ability (5) outperforms other battery-operated impacts in the same price and torque range
Design (3) detent pin significantly increases time required to change sockets; the rocker-switch can be difficult for some to adapt to especially when you routinely change between an air-impact and cordless-impact.
Price (5) performs nearly as well as higher-priced cordless impacts, such as Milwaukee and Snap-On
Useability (3) again due to the added time required to change impact sockets (detent pin) and non-standard trigger-switch, it detracts from use in situations where the socket must be frequently changed.
If DeWalt were to produce this same cordless impact with a hog-ring type retaining anvil, as well as a single-pull switch and separate directional switch like the DC823B I could see this becoming the defacto standard in mid-range cordless impact wrenches.
Overall, I rate the DeWalt DW059B/K Impact Wrench a (4). Great price without the battery. Very powerful. Able to easily remove lug nuts without effort or the need for a breaker bar.
Get it if you need something small (relatively) that can remove multiple sets of wheels without breaking a sweat.
Only gripe...the trigger. It isn't like a regular dewalt drill where there is the button you push back and forth to change the direction the drill goes when you pull the trigger, the trigger has an upper and lower portion...a little harder to use but fine none the less.
Buy DEWALT Bare-Tool DW059B 1/2-Inch 18-Volt Cordless Impact Wrench (Tool Only, No Battery) Now
First of all, I never had air before. So I bought this instead of buying compressor and the hole nine yards.I already had a 18v dewalt drill with a nicad battery. The battery is about 1 year old with not much use. At first when receiving this impact drill, I felt weak power so right away I made sure by fully charging the battery I had and trying it out. It worked well, but with automotive you know there are some stubborn bolt/nuts because of normal oxidation and things. So I would use heat/breaker bar then this which worked fine.
So just a month ago I bought the new dewalt lithium-ion battery with charger. Charged the battery and it sat for like 2 weeks. Finally had some work to do on a car where my elcheapo air tools frustrated me. Pulled out the impact drill and plugged in the new battery.
This beast blasted nuts off that I even had a hard time with a 18 inch breaker bar(more to do with position clearance; I have some guns on my arm).
So I came to the part where I put the new parts in. Normally I would torque to specs but I would at least use the drill to get close where i don't need to ratchet. I accidentally broke a bolt with this drill. It works so fast that I wasn't able to release and sure enough it snapped off the bolt with nut. Luckily it was an easy fix but I just wanted to warn people not to underestimate the ft pounds mentioned on this tool.
great job dewalt and great job amazon for price and delivery.Good tool and price but one problem, the socket retaining device broke the very first time I used it.
The impact socket wouldn't come off for anything the first time, I ended up putting the socket in a vice and pounding the socket off with a punch and hand sledge though the center of the socket. Retainer parts flew when it finally busted loose. Don't think there was anything I could have done differently. I'm sure I could send the unit back but it seems to hold the sockets on just fine without the retainer. Besides I don't see how a replacement wrench would be any different.
As far as strength goes, it was able to break a 8" long 3/8" lag bolt in half. I've been grabbing it every time since I got instead of my 1/2" IR pneumatic impact. It's been able to break loose tractor tire lug nuts that were torqued to 250 ft/lbs.
Hard to beat that.I purchased this to remove lug nuts from my cars and trucks. I went with the bare tool as I already had 18v Dewalt tools that worked great. Opened it up, inserted a freshly charged battery and tried to take the lug nuts off my Ford Super Duty (14mm) with no luck. Doesn't even seem to be trying. I typically torque them to around 125 lb. ft. I haven't had the opportunity to try it on other, smaller nuts yet, but I'm not too hopeful. Still trying to decide whether to keep it or send it back. Very disapointed.

Kinetik HC1400R - 1400 Watt 12 Volt Power Cell Reverse Terminal Battery, Pack of 1
At the moment im only running about 500 watts RMS and it doesn't skip a beat.
I'm soon going to be running about 1000 RMS and will probably revise my review then.
Either way, I was very concerned about if it would fit under the hood, luckily for me it did and I have a 2002 Hyundai accent.
So as the product description states it will fit in Honda civics Hyundai accents and other sub-compact cars. Still take very careful measurements.
Kinetiks customer support is also very helpful, if you ever have any questions you can call and you get connected directly to a real human being.
Right now it's also dealing well with extreme weather conditions, 20 degrees and lower, and still doing well.
Sits at 13+ volts on average.
Basically I'm never going back to traditional lead acid batteries, they leak, they lose their charge, they don't output as many volts, they can't deep discharge and recharge slower.
AGM's are twice the price roughly but if you have electronics in your car, well worth it and kinetik batteries are excellent and put out a lot of cranking amps and amp hours for their size.

iPod nano 1st generation
iPod nano 2nd generation (aluminum)
iPod mini 1st generation
iPod 4th generation
iPod 4th generation (color display)
iPod 5th generation (video)
Although the compatibility list does not mention it, this add-on definitely works with the iPod classic, because that's what I'm using. The terminal is the current standard 30-pin connector, so if your iPod is more recent than the above list, chances are that it will probably work... but I can only speak for the classic.
CONTENTS:
The package comes with:
iPod Bluetooth transmitter
manual
One funny note regarding the packaging: I couldn't believe how HUGE the packaging was for such a small item!! The main photo on the package depicts an iPod with the transmitter cleverly placed in view right below the iPod photo, where it would plug in. It certainly catches the eye.
USAGE:
It couldn't be simpler You just turn on your iPod and connect the transmitter to the port, and in order to activate it, you set your receiving device into pairing mode and then hold down the button on the transmitter for about 7 seconds until the two devices are paired. That's it.
SOUND:
Overall, I find the sound quality on the receiving side to be excellent. I base my opinion on headphone comparisons between:
a) plugging directly into the iPod and
b) plugging into my Bluetooth receiver unit
As far as I can tell, the sound is pretty much identical, although a bit lower in volume, but that may due to my Bluetooth receiver.
For reference, I'm using the transmitter in conjunction with the Sony HWS-BTA2W Bluetooth wireless audio transmitter/receiver as my Bluetooth receiver. Both these two devices support Bluetooth 2.0 and A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). For audio comparisons, I used a pair of Sony MDR-V700DJ Monitor Series Headphones.
One important thing to note is that you cannot control the volume of the transmitted sound. I'm not exactly sure why that is, but it appears to be by design. All your iPod controls behave as they normally do and you can even move the volume slider up or down, however it has no effect on the transmitted sound. Some functions, however, do still affect the sound, such as "Sound Check", "Volume Limit", and all the "EQ" settings. Since these features still work, I'm assuming that the lack of volume control is by design. The volume output is the max allowed by the Volume Limit setting.
My only guess is that the volume control is to be used in conjunction with AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), but I don't have such a device to confirm. I don't know if this happens on other iPod bluetooth adaptors, but I could see the inability to control the volume via the iPod becoming an issue if you want to use it with a BT headset (unless the headset has volume controls)
RANGE:
The packaging states "Line of Sight approx 10m (30 ft)". I had thought that Bluetooth did not require line of sight, but Sony clearly states so and for the most part, it holds true for this unit. I have tested up to around 25 feet with clear line of sight and the sound remaind crisp and clear. Clothing also did not present any problems. I buried the iPod and transmitter under a pile of ski clothing with no effect.
But once you block the path with walls or other sources of interference, the signal will start to become choppy or completely cut off. Be warned that your body can also block the signal. Cupping my hands completely around the transmitter would pretty much turn the signal to crap beyond only a few feet from the BT receiver. In most cases, as long as I'm witin a one or two feet, the signal still comes through, but the more I block the signal and the further I go, the more the signal would degrade, as is to be expected.
As far as home use goes, as long as I'm in the same room and not actively trying to block the signal, I haven't had any problems.
DESIGN:
The design is about as simple as you can get. It has a single big button in the center, which you can use for various functions (turning on/off, pairing) and a bright blue light which signals the unit's activities. It is completely powered by the iPod, so no extra power supply or battery is required.
I have seen similar Bluetooth attachments for the iPod which are little blocks the same width as the iPod. Personally, I prefer the small design of the Sony. One major factor that I like about it is that I can plug it into my iPod without removing it from its protective case. I use a leather casing by INCASE which only leaves me an opening for the 30-pin connector at the bottom.
My main pet peeve that I have about most block adaptors is that while they may blend better with the iPod in overall shape, there aren't any cases (that I know of) available that fit an iPod WITH attachments, so if you use a case and want to connect something, chances are you'll have to remove the iPod from its case before plugging in your accessory. The Sony might make for an odd shape, but for my purposes at least, it works better and I think that it still looks pretty slick.
One thing that Sony could have added, however, is a locking clip for the transmitter. The transmitter sits pretty snugly and doesn't feel like it'll fall out by accident, but it would have been nice to have that extra sense of security.
CONCLUSION:
The unit is a bit pricey, but overall I'm quite satisfied with its functionality. The sound quality is good and for my purposes, I haven't had any problems with signal strength.
As an aside, my primary goal was to connect my iPod to my home speaker system. I was originally looking at the iPod Universal Dock, but found it to be completely worthless, since the remote control could only play/pause/skip prev/next and control the volume. For actually selecting music, I still had to go up to the dock in order to browse for my music. And who wants to get up to change music anyway? :)
Using this Bluetooth setup, I can now use my iPod as a fully functional "remote" (except for volume) and have my music come out of my main speaker system. I do wish I could have the option of charging my iPod while it's broadcasting (since the charging port is occupied by the transmitter), but the fact that I can keep my iPod in its protective case and the nice compact size and look of the transmitter makes for a decent tradeoff. Bottom line: If you have a nice home speaker setup, I totally recommend going this route!
**UPDATE 12/13/2007**
Just a few more quick notes and clarifications (as if this review wasn't long enough, eh?) since I've been using it for about a month now... and I still LOVE this device!
Usage:
I should clarify my above comment that it only requires pairing with your receiving device ONCE (like most BT devices). After the initial pairing you can unplug it and only plug it back into the iPod when you want to use it. If you're near your previously paired receiving device, all you have to do is plug the transmitter into your iPod and hit play, and the receiver should immediately pick up your audio signal. To preserve battery life, the iPod transmitter only transmits if you're actually playing music, which is pretty good.
Lack of volume control:
After having read other reviews for similar attachments, the fixed volume output appears to be normal. For my purposes, it would have been nice if I could have controlled volume directly from the iPod, but I'll live. At least I know that it wasn't necessarily a design-flaw in this particular device. If you've tried another Bluetooth transmitter for your iPod, you may be stunned at just how small this one is (see my product picture relative to coins).
As others have said, it pairs very easily and since it draws power from the iPod, it doesn't require charging.
Some additional notes:
The size of the button is very convenient for any size fingers (many units feature extremely small buttons).
The unit fits securely in the iPod and does not break connection if you shake the iPod, and I mean SHAKE it. Great even for robust exercise.
The power it draws from the iPod is minimal, having only a negligible effect on the battery charge. In this configuration, it outlasts the charge of my Motorokr S9 Headphones
The sound quality is excellent. My previous Bluetooth transmitter was never so clear.
The range is the best I've come across for a Bluetooth device. As an experiment, I connected the device to my iPod in my bedroom and then went downstairs to do some laundry. The sound was clear and uninterrupted until I got to the laundry room door, about 30-35 feet from my iPod.
You really can't go wrong with this unit. It's more expensive than some of the others, but you'll love the convenience and level of performance.

This Bluetooth adapter does work with the iPhone in spite of the message you get when you plug it in. The message states that it doesn't and asks you if you want to switch to airplane mode. Just answer no and continue. The key to getting it to work is to start whichever application you are using to play before you plug in the adapter. My only problem is that occasionally if I'm moving with the iPhone on my belt, the sound will "cut out" for a second.Read Best Reviews of Sony Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter for iPod (Black) Here
I just received my iPhone 3G this week, and like many people, I was extremely unhappy that it did not come with Bluetooth support for my Motorola S9 stereo headset. For the life of me, I can't figure out why Apple chose not to support the Bluetooth A2DP standard. I expected more from a company on the leading edge of digital stereo and smart phone integration.Fortunately, Sony came to the rescue with their TMR-BT8IP Bluetooth Transmitter. This small device plugs into the iPhone 30-pin connector and gets power from it, so there is no charging necessary (very nice). It comes in black or white, so it matches the current iPhone colors nicely. Sony Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter for iPod (White) Sony Bluetooth Wirleless Transmitter for iPod (Black)
I have been using the Motorola S9 with my Samsung Blackjack for about a year and half, and I love it. I have become hooked on listening to high quality stereo with no wires to get tangled. As an added bonus, you can pick up phone calls without missing a beat, and even redial without touching the phone. Motorola MOTOROKR S9 Bluetooth Version 2 Wireless Stereo Headset for Cell Phone
Getting everything to play well together was a pain, but now that it's working, I'm a very happy with Sony, and Motorola, but still annoyed with Apple! Apple fumbled the ball here, which added an unnecessary $60 expense to the iPhone along with hours of frustration...
Hopefully, the following instructions can help mitigate some frustration for other buyers of iPhone.
The trick to getting everything to play together is to recognize that the iPhone's built-in Bluetooth is used to control the phone features of the headset, and the Sony Bluetooth transmitter is used to control the stereo music features of the headset. You must pair the headset with the Sony transmitter first, and then pair the headset with the iPhone.
1. Turn off Motorola headset
2. Turn on bluetooth on iPhone
3. Plugin Sony to iPhone
4. Answer no to the iPhone Prompt "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone" this comes up every time :(
5. Press and hold Sony button for 7 seconds until blue LED flashes quickly
6. Press and hold Motorola headset power button until blue LED goes solid
7. Sony and Motoorla will automatically pair
8. Stereo music should now be heard on headset
9. Press and hold Sony button for 3 seconds until it tops playing music
10. Unplug Sony transmitter from iPhone
11. Turn off Motorola headset
12. Use iPhone Bluetooth control to start scanning for devices
13. Press and hold Motorola headset power button until blue LED goes solid
14. Motorola headset should show up on iPhone as unpaired
15. Pair iPhone with Motorola headset
16. Headset can now answer incoming calls using left ear button or iPhone answer
17. Plugin Sony to iPhone
18. Press and hold Sony button for 2 seconds
19. Stereo music should now be heard on headset
Even I still have trouble getting this script to work consistently, but rest assured, if you're persistent, it can be made to work, and it works very well. It's just a shame it has to be this painful Shame on you Apple...
Want Sony Bluetooth Wireless Transmitter for iPod (Black) Discount?
I bought this because I had already purchased the Sony DRBT-50 headphones ( which are also Bluetooth ).I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it paired with the headphones, and how good the sound quality was.
The range seems to be about 20 ft ( unobstructed view ) from the iPod with this transmitter and the DRBT-50s..
( which was also a pleasant surprise, I am used to bluetooth's range usually being about 12 ft or so with the equipment I currently own ) After that range the signal started to drop out.
The device is powered by the iPod, so it cuts down on the playing time of the iPod ( I haven't determined how long it will last yet )
There is no way to control the volume with the iPod or this device, I needed to use the volume controls on the headphones ( which did a good job )
All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this "Waterproof" hard case to house my cell phone for an upcoming motorcycle trip. Upon its arrival, I looked it over and it didn't seem so waterproof to me. Firstly, the hole on the bottom is a rather large slit that doesn't seal tight around the cable. Secondly, the plastic window looks to be stitched in from the inside of the case with no glue around the edges, which could allow water to seep in. Thirdly, There is no seal or flap around the zipper to keep water out. A quick rinse under the faucet proved my suspicions. This thing leaks like Niagara Falls with water coming in through the zipper and seams. To me, when a product is advertised as "Waterproof", you should be able to hold it under water at some depth for some time and not have any leakage. We can get caught in some massive downpours here in Florida after-all. On Amazon, it is advertised as "Waterproof", but the included instructions say "Water Resistant". This is a blatant misrepresentation of it capabilities.Other issues: The advertised size is 8x6x4 inches. My case measures 6x4x2 inches even though the model number matches the advertised one. The advertisement says it comes with 3 pieces of foam to customize the fit for your phone. Mine came with one hard thick piece of rubbery material that is not very customizable. The hole for the cable mentioned earlier is located at the bottom center of the case if using it horizontally. This isn't very conducive for cell phones that are normally used in a vertical fashion. Most cell phones have their connectors at the top or bottom when holding them vertically straight up and down. I simply don't have enough room to bend my cable around to make it to the hole with the way the connector sticks out from the bottom of the phone (see my size comments above).
Overall, I have never seen any product so misrepresented on Amazon such as this one. I am extremely disappointed.

All around good product,PROS: mounts easy, houses my Garmin nuvi snug (comes with foam pads of different thickness'that you remove for the right fit)
I use a big windshield and in a heavy rain the Nuvi has yet to get wet inside the case.
My Nuvi does not have a plug in for an ear piece so I dont hear the turn warnings but that is not the fault of the mount.
CONS: The only con for this mount is that you cant see the screen very well in direct sunlight.
(I jury rigged a viser for it, it helps somewhat.
Want Arkon GPS032 Handlebar Mount for 3.5 - 4.3-Inch GPS Devices Discount?
Good CaseI used it with a Garmin Nuvi 265 and then a 1300 on my Motorcycle. Rotary adjustment is good (~20 degrees in all directions). It seals up well too. Touchscreen operations are affected some by the clear plastic cover, but not bad. good price too. When my wife and I were planning a 2 month motorcycle trip this year, I thought about buying a motorcycle GPS but considered the price ($500-$600) ridiculous. When I saw the Amazon listing for the Akron GPS032 Handlebar Mount for 3.5-4.3 inch GPS Devices it seemed like just what I was looking for. The mount installed easily on my Harley (Springer Softail) and I later found out it also fit and installed easily on the much larger diameter handlebars of my wife's HD Fatboy. I also purchased the Battery Tender female cigarette lighter type connecter which plugged conveniently into the Battery Tender pigtail that was already mounted on my bike.I just placed my inexpensive GPS into the case, turned it on and then zipped it up, using the touch screen through the clear plastic front to put in my destinations. Anytime I was concerned somebody might steal the GPS off the bike at night, it was a snap to unzip the case and take out the GPS and to reinstall it in the morning. I am happy to report that after 58 days, 20 states plus Alberta, Canada, old route 66 from end to end, rain, sleet, a little snow and 9,566 miles, the mount stayed firmly attached (did not move due to vibration or bumps from the road), the GPS stayed dry and nothing on the mount cracked or broke. The GPS itself was sometimes hard to read because of the sun shining on it but that had nothing to do with the mount and I could usually cup my hand in such a way that I could read the GPS. I don't usually write reviews but I thought this well made, inexpensive product deserved one and the review may be of some value to fellow bikers.

Bulldog Security Deluxe500B Remote Starter with Keyless Entry, LCD Remote and Bypass Module
Update 09/2012: Since original installation 01/2012, which was nine 9 months ago, the door unlock portion of module not functioning properly. Was hard to get through to tech support and then customer service for RMA; but did receive an RMA-. Unit being returned for repair/replacement. who knows what they will do. Disappointed that they have no mechanism to do an exchange or reverse credit to get another unit which will result in an additional visit under the dash once i receive back. I think they could work on that aspect of their operation. Otherwise, unit did work well for the first 9 months. Not sure how other manufacturers handle these situations.I have used several Bulldog systems and have had good luck with them all.
Because they are sold in local stores, auto parts stores and Meijers, I have replaced remotes without shipping.
I have one like this now and am ordering another for my wife's new Lincoln.
The only problem I've had is on my car which I park all summer, the remote eventually drains the battery. Unpluging the connector from the unit solved that problem.
Uses AAA battery so replacement is easy and cheap.
Range is good and they offer wiring diagrams and manuals on the web.

Unit took some time to install--not for the faint of heart. Anyone can do in, but you WILL have to read the instructions thoroughly before and during the installation process. Once installed the unit works great--comparable to th $500 two-way unit I had professionally installed in our minivan. Highly recommend this starter.I bought this system when it was priced at $130 about a month ago. I installed it and it was working well. Having this makes life so much nicer for the everyday commuter. However, the two way function on the remote has seemed to go bad. I requested a replacement and should be receiving it at the beginning of next week. As long as the part is replaced I would recommend purchasing this product. Especially now that the price has dropped 50 bucks!! I will update when I have received the replacement and the system is back in working order.AWESOME !!!! this thing does everything. alarm. door locks, awesome remote with screen that shows you what the car is doing. you can program the starter to torn on like a alarm clock, if your car is in a parking structure it will start on a timer every day or the same time every morning, the display shows how long it has been running. It has aux channels too. for power windows, power sun roof. I use my aux channels on a work truck to light the rear lights when I'm loading the truck. and another aux channel for my power tailgate.
It even comes with an ignition bypass module.
I'm buying one for my pathfinder.

Associated Equipment 6006 6/12/24V 70/65/30 Amp Charge 280 Amp Cranking Assist Charger with Wheels
It is a great charger except for one deplorable thing! It has heavy plastic insulation on the cables and electrical cord! They are so stiff you would think it was crap from China, and that's just at 50 degrees F. I have no idea how much more contemptable they'll be when the weather REALLY gets COLD, when a person generally most often needs a charger. So if you want flexible cables get one with rubber insulation.......yeh right, like anyone nowadays bothers to tell you that or even mention the type of insulation. If it gives me problems at 25 degrees below F., I will probably swap them out with #3 or #4 welding cable, and if I do, they will will be 3 feet longer, to reach high up on my old tractors.
Had this charger the aforementioned excellent cable insulation, I would readily give it 5 Stars. This charger does not have all the bells and whistles, to go haywire, plain, simple, durable, and will hopefully last 20 plus years easily, as long as no dummy goes and touches/sparks the charging clamps together! (Knocks the sap out of and dramatically shortenes the life of the rectifier(s).
I hope someone at Associated reads and fixes this, until they do I will have to recommend Century brand made in Minnesota....it gets cold there, they know. One would want to make sure about the cable insulation first, though.
My Matco (made by them) lasted 28 years, with only 2 recifier replacements, now not to be had) Don't get me wrong, Associated is good American built product, it is just a shame they cut a corner. lssmonikeratyahoodotcomWe have a lot of Equipment that are 24 volt systems and this just what we needed to service them. I would reccomend this to other customers.

Universal High Output 4-key Remote Control for Single Color LED Motorcycle/car/atv Accent Neon Kit
Now about this little engine that could ;)....there are four buttons: A,B,C and D...'A' is solid state mode that has three brightness settings......'B' is the strobe mode that also has three different strobe patterns.....'C' is the 'breathe' mode which has three different speeds and 'D' switches the lights off. Note the lights can be turned ON with either of the function buttons (A,B or C) which is really cool.
The controller is nice and looks expensive! It has the slide cover that slides up to cover the buttons and slides down to expose them. Its made of metal and really strong. I only which this package came with two!
I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a neat simple 'one colour' control unit. Built strong and quality written all over it!
Definitely a BEST BUY!I love the remote set up. Very easy to use. I wish it had like a strobe pattern. So far great just got it installed on gsxr1000The controller itself is the best option out there for the price range.
The problem I have it the keyfob. Mine sucked. Out of the box it would work intermittently, and only after tapping it off a hard surface would it work. I tried replacing the batteries, checking the contacts, the keyfob I have just doesn't work. I understand sometimes you get a bad piece, but I emailed the company 3 days ago and have still yet to get a response.
If you order this product, and it WORKS.. You'll be very happy. But if it doesn't, don't expect any help from them. This item did not function correctly when it arrived. As soon as power was applied to the unit via the included switch, my LEDs would stay on solid and the remote had no command over the module. I decided to pull the unit apart and check the circuit. What I found was a SMT (SURFACE MOUNT TECHNOLOGIE) Resistor was not soldered properly! I have a pretty good understanding of circuits. So, in my case it was an easy fix. The module functions properly now. Although, I would recommend returning the unit or exchanging for a new one. The unit does seem to be of higher quality than most other brands I have seen out there. Its possible that I just received a bad ONE or one from a bad batch. Worth a shot for $40.00 . I gave a four star rating because this particular brand is among the best out there on the market.
