CAR CHARGER FOR Apple Ipod / Iphone 3G Series

CAR CHARGER FOR Apple Ipod / Iphone 3G SeriesLast night my new iPhone 3GS touch screen started acting up. Couldn't get sliding working and I couldn't hit any keys or buttons like attempting to hit "A" would cause "G" to be pushed. Couldn't power off, because I couldn't get the slide to work! Then realized I had the new power charge plugged in. I unplugged, and voila: everything back to normal. Obviousy the charger is running to high voltage or current

This charger is not coming close to my iPhone again!

Car charger and cable appears to work OK, but that is not much of consolidation if the regular charger blows up your iPhone.

The price on this item seemed to good to be true. Three different chargers for the 3G iPhone for ten bucks? Happily, all of the cables work as advertised, and I love not having had to pay $30 for ONE official Apple charger.

I have always been worried about buying inexpensive cables for the 3g iphone. You never know who you can trust. Well, I have used all of the cables that this comes with now and they all are working great on my phone. My only complaint is the bright light that is always on on the wall charger. I would say it would not make a good changer for the bedroom unless you were also looking to buy a night light.

I lost my OEM iPhone charger and needed a replacement. This not only replaced it but I also gained two more chargers for a very affordable price. Everything works great.

I ordered this product. I only got a wall charger and a car charger. The wall charger only works sometimes. The car charger appears to work. However, I've not spent enough time using the car charger to say it works as advertised confidently.

Dissapointed in product and cannot reccomend. Should have purchased a higher quality product.

Blinc M1 Bluetooth 2.0 Integrated Communication Module Add On for All Helmets

Blinc M1 Bluetooth 2.0 Integrated Communication Module Add On for All HelmetsJust got the M1 in today and had to hook it up right away. I have not rode with it yet but testing it out around the house I noticed these points:

1. There is a slight static in background

2. The volume is GREAT for listening to music

3. The Music continues to play when using Vlingo (Droid Incredible) when it reads txt messages to me so I can't really hear what the "voice" is saying.

4. Tried calling another person and it worked great...they heard me fine and I can hear them perfect (again have not tried this on the road yet).

5. I mounted mine via the clip and holds tight. Might switch to adhesive mount for cleaner look at a later date.

6. Nice Matte Black finish

7. The cord length is fine...had extra I had to tuck into the helmet.

8. I found the user interface a little annoying to get used to...sometimes holding the button down for the "5" seconds didn't turn off and that type of thing...just have to get used to it.

Will update review upon first ride and test with product.

***4/11/2011 Update***

Product is GREAT!

1. You can't hear static when riding.

2. At 80mph could still hear when calling and person on other end could hear perfect. (I did not have wind blocker on helmet)

3. Once I got used to Blinc M1 the user interface works better.

4. Awesome part of product is that when synced to phone (HTC Incredible) the knob on side can be used to switch between songs!! Great for shuffle option on phone!

5. Clip mount works great...has not moved yet!

6. At just $100 I would highly recommend the purchase...can't beat the convenience.

PROS:

Paid $99 with free shipping. That's the cheapest one I've seen so far.

Controls are easy to use with gloves on, the dial for changing music tracks is very nice.

Loud. I can hear music at freeway speeds inside my full-face helmet.

People could understand me on the phone at 40mph.

CONS:

No dedicated plug for the charger, shares the same plug as the speaker/microphone assembly. You have to unplug one to plug the other in.

Proprietary charger plug.

The "clip" fastener was useless for me because the plug for the headset wiring sticks out pretty far and it would hit my shoulder and unplug. Using the stick-on mounting plate to place the unit higher on my helmet solved this.

OTHER:

Volume buttons could be bigger but they're adequate.

Play/Pause is handled by holding the "volume down" button for 3 seconds. Odd but acceptable.

It comes with a boom mic, it would have been better with a mic made specifically to go inside a full-face helmet.

Buy Blinc M1 Bluetooth 2.0 Integrated Communication Module Add On for All Helmets Now

I've owned the M1 for about a month now and have done about 250-300 miles using it. It does what it claims to do, which is why I gave it 4/5 stars but there are a few things that are really annoying.

Setup is easy, however, if you own a SHOEI RF1000 Helmet don't expect this unit to fit as easily as you see in the videos on Youtube. Unlike most of the helmets you see portrayed in the demos online the Shoei RF1000 does not allow you to pop out the rear padding of the helmet. I had to shove (with a pencil eraser) the wire between the helmet and the padding till it got stuck up there. So Shoei owners, and people who own helmets with a permanently attached rear padding, beware.

The microphone works great (I can only speak as to full-face helmet use)and up to 60 miles an hour the person on the other line doesn't really notice any difference. You can carry a conversation at 70 MPH but you will be straining a little. The speakers work great but I have a constant low buzz/squeaky noise coming from them when I get a call. I have yet to use this device to listen to music but I imagine you could hear music just fine no matter the speed. I ride a Honda 919 with Sato pipes so if your bike is quiet you could possibly get even better results.

I wish that there was some kind of clip holding the usb cables from the wiring to the unit as over time, I can definitely see the cables just falling out of the unit while going fast.

This is easy to use and setup and works pretty well. I will update this review once I get another m1 to communicate with my wife.

I bought this on a whim because I wanted to be able to listen to music on long rides. I opted for the permanent installation because the clip wouldn't fit my helmet. The clip was too small to fit around the bottom of my helmet (AFX DS-39 Awesome helmet BTW). So I carefully placed the speakers where they would fit comfortably on my ears, routed the wires through the bottom of the helmet and put everything back together. It was great, I had minimal wires showing where they connected to the unit and the speakers were just fine on the comfort scale.

I paired my phone to the unit and started playing some music. IT WORKED! Next, I wanted to test it on the road.

So I have a dual sport bike with a small Enduro tank bag. The tank bag has a velcro piece that sits on top with a clear plastic window that you can slide things in to. This, I figured, would be the perfect place to put my phone as it was the closest location to the bluetooth unit without being tied to my helmet (/joke).

Bottom line, this thing is crap. The phone was no more than 1.5 feet away from my helmet at all times and the signal would cut in and out. I'd rather listen to wind noise. It went a little something like this... 2 seconds of music, silence, 4 seconds of music, 5 seconds of silence, 2 seconds of music... you get the picture.

I could not, in good faith, recommend this to anyone in the market for a bluetooth helmet system. I am either going to sell this piece of junk or try to return it. I am very disappointed but that's what I get for buying the cheapest thing on the market.

I bought the Blinc M1 cold with no background check at all. I figured if I didn't like it I would take it back. Anyway, no offense to the negative reviews but, it sounds to me like most of the problems are taken care of if you read the directions. Maybe I got a good one Idono but mine works like a charm. My range is over 20' its clear as a bell and phone calls work as they are supposed to. The only fault I can find so far is it is a little cumbersome to make an outgoing call while riding and listening to music. The unit has to be at idle to place an outgoing call. Safety measure, again Idono. I have only used it for about 2hrs but music, phone calls in and out, work great. It's plenty loud to hear over the bike even with aftermarket exhaust. I don't think I have it turned up as as loud as it will go. I haven't tried it with my gps or the intercom. I ride mostly solo so I really won't use the intercom. As of now would I buy another. Yep. I can't imagine one any better and for the price I'm very happy with it. Everything fit great and the wires tuck into the helmet with no problem. Like one reviewer said you do have to get the ear pieces just right but it only take a few minutes of trial and error. This seems to be what I have been waiting for at a very reasonable price.

I would like to see a battery indicator and a way to charge the unit from 12 volts. These things would be nice but I like the low price better.

Optima 8002-002-FFP RedTop Group 34 Starting Battery

Optima 8002-002-FFP RedTop Group 34 Starting BatteryI've been using American-made Optimas in all my vehicles for years with great success. The worst of those lasted five years before getting weak, but all the others have made seven years, and of course, never any electrolyte seepage. I bought this battery to replace another seven-year-old that was just starting to show its age. This one is hot and was packed very well. Optima has apparently been listening to the myriad complaints of shipping damage.

This is my first Mexican-built Optima with the new, shorter warranty under Johnson Controls ownership, so time will tell how it lasts in comparison with the originals. If you are concerned with returns or warranty through Amazon, I suggest you read the policy regarding online retailers on Optima's own website. They have a very specific set of requirements which must be met to honor the warranty.

This is the best battery on the market in my opinion. I have used these in my vehicles for years and they never have let me down. If you like the best for your vehicle and don't mind spending a little more you wont be disappointed and they will actually save you money in the long run because they tend to last longer than regular lead acid batteries. I found that amazon has the best price so don't waste your time shopping around I did the research for you. I have a dodge diesel that requires two batteries and it starts up strong every time.

Buy Optima 8002-002-FFP RedTop Group 34 Starting Battery Now

Amazon will NOT warranty this battery.

This battery failed after 23 months. Amazon says it is to hazardous to return. Funny it was Okay to ship to me.

AutoZone, O'Reilly, NAPA, and Interstate Battery Stores will not warranty it. I finally contacted Optima Customer Service and after several emails they set me up with a local auto repair shop to charge and test the battery which they paid for. After verification that the battery was dead a new battery was shipped to me. I must say that Mary Jo at Optima Customer Service was very helpful and if you have an issue contact Optima FIRST.

Optima batteries are now manufactured by Johnson Controls in Mexico as are most of the car batteries sold in the US, well at least in Arizona. AutoZone, O'Reilly, NAPA, Wal-Mart, even the Sears DieHard and Interstate Batteries come from Johnson Controls and are made in Mexico. Seems that Johnson Controls has pretty much cornered the market here. I am not sure about Exide or Delco as there are no dealers near me.

In the past I've had good luck with Optima batteries and if this replacement lasts the 7-8 years I have come to expect I may buy another, but NOT from Amazon.

Other Notes:

I recently bought two Interstate batteries (Johnson-Controls I am told) from Costco because of price and warranty. Wal-Mart no longer extends their warranty past their three year free replacement. Wal-Mart used to pro-rate up to 108 months.

Works great. Shipping was fine no issue at all. Packaging was just fine and no damage to battery. Getting to fit in 2002 Acura MDX took a little extra effort but it is in and working.

I've only had this battery for a few weeks. It seems to be working fine on my Lincoln and I hope to get 9-10 years out of it. My last battery lasted 10 years but it was not an Optima. We'll see what happens with this one. Based on all the good reviews it should do at least as well.

RoadPro RPSL-681 12V Direct Hook-Up Ceramic Heater/Fan with Swivel Base

RoadPro RPSL-681 12V Direct Hook-Up Ceramic Heater/Fan with Swivel BaseJust installed one of these in my John Deere Tractor cab, and am pretty disapointed. I have seen these advertised as both 300 Watts and now Amazon is listing them as only 180 watts???? So am not sure if there is two models of this or not??? I bought it because of the review on here from the guy with the skid steer praising it??? I found mine will take 20 mins to defrost[about a foot square hole NOT the whole thing] the windshield if its ZERO degrees here in Northern Maine. I dont really know what it would be good for???? I would say it would be something that would heat up an area maybe 18"X18" square not the cab of a tractor, that is more like 4ft square. If you think it will heat up a vehicle anything like the vehicle heater, you are going to be very disapointed. As it's output is about 1/10th of that.............. I would not have bought it if I could have pluged one in before I bought!!! Maybe a better way of rating it is that a standard hairdryer[1500wt] will put out atleast times what this does; if you have a 300watt version; the 180watt version, they are selling now, would only put out than a hairdryer. So if you think about how long it would take to heat up the vehicle with a standard hairdryer and then assume it will take 8X longer you can see it is going to take a very LONG TIME!

This heater is a marked improvement over the 12v ceramic defroster type heater (powered by a cigarette lighter receptacle) tha I had installed. The unit wires directly to the battery with thicker gatuge wire. Alternatively, it can be wired to the main bus bar which is the case in my boat. The heater warms the cabin of my BellBoy classic glass cruiser. So, I am pleased with it and would recommend it for similar small-spaced applications.

I liked the size and the features, but the fan is very lacking and without a switch in the circuit the fan's power stays on unless you remove the fuses. All in all it kept me from freezing too much but could have been made a lot better.

I have this unit installed in my Subaru wagon. Forget about getting any heat. Turned to the windshield, it keeps a small portion of the windshield clear of condensation. Thats all it's good for. Hardly any heat, hardly any moving air from the fan.

An impressive looking gadget; but not really a heater. Not worth 50 cents.

Want RoadPro RPSL-681 12V Direct Hook-Up Ceramic Heater/Fan with Swivel Base Discount?

I bought this heater because, at the time, it was the best rated car heater on Amazon. The fan barely blew any heat out. I had to keep my hands directly over the heater to feel any heat at all.

After owning this heater for about two months, it caught fire in my Jeep I had to get rid of it. I would not recommend anybody purchase this heater.

XACT XS025 SIRIUS Satellite Radio Portable Boom Box

XACT XS025 SIRIUS Satellite Radio Portable Boom BoxTotally surprised. Solid, great sound for a boombox, antenna works great, signal comes in pretty much anywhere. Built-in FM transmitter means you can leave it on the windowsill and broadcast to your home stereo. Kicks a#% for its size and price. Power knob turns on radio and boombox at the same time (nice) and also functions as volume knob, glows blue in the dark. In/Out for my Ipod, awesome. Best of both worlds. You really don't need a home or a car kit with this boombox (because of its FM transmitter). Might look weird, but don't be put-off. Speakers also rotate for customized sound distribution.

The XACT XS025 boombox is a solid performer. It is not going to win any awards for sound quality or looks but it gets the job done and it does it well. If you want to bring your commercial free radio to a party, picnic or beach, this boombox will serve you well. I was surprised I was able to listen to satellite music inside my house. The blue lighted power/volume knob is kinda cool.

I like the fact that you can plug this boombox in or load it up with 700 D batteries (OK 8 D batteries but it is pretty heavy). You can get about 4 or so hours of listening time with battery power. Good enough for a typical party. If you are going to an all-nighter, bring spares.

Pros great reception, decent sound, AC/DC option, good battery listening time, cool volume light.

Cons U-G-L-Y, heavy when loaded with batteries, clunky carrying handle.

Buy XACT XS025 SIRIUS Satellite Radio Portable Boom Box Now

I'm actually glad that my stereo speakers do not have the connection that is required to hook up my Sirius receiver; otherwise, I may not have bought this. The boom box makes it easy to listen to satellite radio anywhere even outside. The reception is clear and the sound impressive. I also highly recommend satellite radio (Sirius, of course) you'll never listen to terrestrial radio again.

I love satellite radio but I would be cautious about buying an Xact unit. Xact products carry a 12 month warranty. At exactly 13 months the unit stopped working. Xact customer service informed me they were no longer responsible for the unit. Before buying this product search the web and you will find many "13 month" stories. Instead, I would suggest buying directly from Sirius.

Want XACT XS025 SIRIUS Satellite Radio Portable Boom Box Discount?

I picked this unit up at a local thrift store for the staggering amount of $10.00, new in the box, so that might color my judgment of it a little. I used the receiver in the car and swapped it in the boombox for home use, until I replaced the car unit with a Visor.

For this thing's size, it puts out a fair amount of sound, and the clarity is really amazing for speakers this size, which is about 3 inches, I'd say. It won't please the audiophile in your life, but it will bring the satellite radio out of the car and into your home.

It looks a little clunky and is quite heavy, especially when loaded down with batteries, but it's got a nice solid feel to it, unlike many of the current electronics out there. If you have an XAct that'll fit this, buy it. I have to take one star off for the receiver popping out on occasion, but other than that, it's a great accessory to have.

Schumacher SS-120A-PE 12 Amp Ship 'N' Shore Battery Charger

Schumacher SS-120A-PE 12 Amp Ship 'N' Shore Battery ChargerI purchased this for my trolling motor as my brother kept on me about getting a battery charger marine type. Anyway, it works just great and from my perspective, no second guessing, just simple hook it up and forget it! I now have the confidence that I am not overcharging, that I won't get stuck out in the middle of our lake with a drained battery and that my brother is now a happy fisherman as he comes up to the lake and uses MY pontoon and trolling motor which now always has a fully charged battery!!!! Hooray for simplicity and excellence in quality!

I ordered this charger thinking that with the Schumacher name it would last another 25 years like my old Schumacher charger. Nope. It charged one battery then died. I initiated a return with Amazon and got it replaced. Well the replacement charger would not even come on when I got it! Now I am sending 2 of these chargers back to Amazon and will look at another brand for my replacement charger. Wow how quality has changed when the items are made in Mexico instead of the USA where my old one was made. Says a lot about the shape of the country and the world in general.

its slow and methodical.. when the green light comes on the battery is truly topped off to the brim. I have a sears fast charger that does the job quicker ,but the battery gets hot and doesnt seem to go as long on the trolling motor as when i use the schumacker. I have a feeling my battery will last more years using this one.

I thought it was pricey but after using it for several weak batteries, I would not sell it for any amount. I reactivated a dead maintenance free battery that had not been used in over 5 years. Took 48 hours but it de-sulphated and revived at least one dead cell. Battery voltage is now 12.9 VDC and will operate the starter for a 15 hp generator engine. Battery envolved is a CP 12180 12volt 18 Amphour sealed lead acid.

I also use it on my trolling motor batteries and get a superior charge.

EDUP EP-B3502 Wireless Car Bluetooth Music Receiver Stereo Output A2DP For Phone Ipod 3.5mm

EDUP EP-B3502 Wireless Car Bluetooth Music Receiver Stereo Output A2DP For Phone Ipod 3.5mmSo i really wanted to enjoy my music and podcasts in my car that does not have a bluetooth option but it does have a aux plug so i bought this adaptor.

shipped quickly and was as described, pairing was very easy and delivers what it promises, i can listen to my iphone 4s output through the car stereo and am very happy with it, nice sound quality.

it only has 2 drawbacks, there is no sleep mode so i need to turn it off when before i exit the car or else the charge will drain by the end of the work day....

and if i try to charge while listening (from the lighter) there is a loud hiss that makes listenint while charging impossible.

so...

i charge while i listen to the radio, it charges quickly and lasts about 8 hours so i need to charge about once a week and just remember to shut it down before leaving the car, it pairs up very quickly and easily when i turn it back on.

so not all i dreamed for but for the price def' worth it.

I ordered this Bluetooth receiver with some trepidation because it was so inexpensive. The first unit I received would drop the connection after only a few minutes and the mini USB port was too large to hold the connector securely. I complained to the seller and they promptly sent me a replacement which seems to work satisfactorily. I was very satisfied with the seller's customer service.

Buy EDUP EP-B3502 Wireless Car Bluetooth Music Receiver Stereo Output A2DP For Phone Ipod 3.5mm Now

I used to have a Miccus Mini-jack RX: Bluetooth Music Receiver but when I got a new car with built-in bluetooth, I gave it to my husband. But then I found I wanted a similar device for myself to use with headphones and other speakers. Since I have a LifeProof Case on my iPhone, it is not easy to access the headphone jack, so I like to use bluetooth whenever possible. This device serves that purpose well enough considering the price, but it definitely has some quirks and annoying aspects.

First off, the charging port looks like an ordinary micro-USB port, but there must be something special about it, because EVERY time I have used a charging cord other than the one that came with it, it has killed the device. The first time this happened I thought it was defective, and I arranged for a return through the seller. But as I was packing it up to return, I noticed it had a couple of small holes--one on the top, and one on the side--like those found on many devices to perform a 'reset' by inserting a paper clip into the hole. I tried this, and the receiver turned on and worked again!

After that, I tried all the Micro-USB cables I had, and all of them caused the same problem except for the short one that came with the device. Putting the paper clip in the side hole always brought the device back to life, but I don't want to risk damaging the device permanently by using other cables. I'm not sure what the hole on the front is for.

I mostly use this receiver with ear buds for listening to audiobooks. In most apps, pressing the button once will cause the audio to pause, but then pressing it again does not always resume the audio playback. With some apps it will resume and others it won't. Pressing the button twice quickly will skip to the next track in some apps, but not all. I don't think these functions are documented.

One very annoying feature of this receiver is that it beeps--LOUDLY--when you turn it on and off, and when the battery is getting low. It's dangerously loud if you have it connected to earbuds or headphones. I have to be careful to remove the buds from my ears when turning it on and off. And when the battery is low it also emits a very loud, obnoxious beep. The warning beep is every few seconds so you can forget about using it until you go and charge it. It does work while being charged but since the charging cord is so short it usually isn't practical to do so.

The indicator lights on the receiver are part of the button. This makes it difficult to see the what the lights are doing as you are pressing the button. Bad design decision. I have to press the button with my thumbnail in order to see what is going on with the indicator lights.

I found the directions were not entirely accurate about turning it off and on. To turn it on, I press and hold the button for about 5-6 seconds, until the blue light starts flashing slowly. To turn it off, I press and hold the button for about 7-8 seconds until the blue and red lights both appear, and then you have to immediately release the button, or you'll end up turning it back on again if you hold it for too long.

When you plug it in to charge, it will display a solid red light while charging, and then a red and blue light after it is fully charged. I've never timed the battery life, but it's probably around 5-6 hours, which is about half that of the Miccus BluBridge.

Helpful hints:

Only use the short charging cord that came with this receiver.

If the receiver will not turn on, try resetting it by inserting a paper clip into the small hole on the side for a few seconds. Then try turning it on.

Remove any attached headphones from your ears before turning it off and on.

For my limited use, this worked out okay for the price, but if you don't mind spending a little bit more, the Miccus BluBridge Mini-jack RX is a better device. It has better controls and indicators, longer battery life, works more reliably in various apps, and seems to be of higher quality. If I was using this receiver in the car, I think the annoyances would be too much to put up with.

Our car isn't fully loaded with the newest built-in technologies. It has great safety features for traveling with my family, but we didn't splurge to get the upgraded in-car media or Bluetooth options. During longer road trips, my kids watch movies on an iPad, but the audio was limited to the crummy iPad built-in speakers. The kids also have headphones, but they're still young enough to be interested and engaged in the car, and will likely be seeking isolation benefits of headphones as they grow up. So, we steer clear of headphones in the car. Long story short, i was looking for options that would enable a connection with the auxiliary jack on my car stereo. I looked at long cables, and we even used the long cable a few times, but it just gets hung up on the stretch to the back seats. This Bluetooth receiver is perfect! Movies from the iPad now have awesome sound via the car speakers! I wouldn't say "cinematic quality," but compared to using build-in speakers for shared audio, the car stereo speakers are WAY better. We also no longer have to worry about the long cord getting caught on everything -or advertising "there's something connected" for people who may look in the car window during rest stops.

It does come with two connectors -to connect the little Bluetooth receiver to the audio jack. One is an actual audio cable and the other is a short plug. In the product photo you see the short plug -it actually has a male connector on both ends. I don't know how much clearance other people may need when connecting to audio jacks, but to me the short plug is still a little long. Why not just make it flush/flat and then eliminate the long cable (and added cost)? Since it does poke out of the dash a couple of inches, we need to make a deliberate effort to not bump it and accidentally break either the jack or the plug.

I do like this, and I'd recommend to others.

Peak PKC0JH 12 Volt 6" Clip-on Fan

Peak PKC0JH 12 Volt 6' Clip-on FanLiving in Arizona without back seat AC, the kids in the backseat have to sweat through every car ride in the summer. This fan is perfect. It plugs rights into the car charger, can clip to the headrest post or the coat hanger and blows vigorously enough cool the whole back row. Since we purchased it a few months ago, the fan has been tossed, crushed, and dropped and has withstood all of it. Especially for the price, if you need a fan for your car, this is a bargain.

The only complaint that I had was needing to assemble the clip on assembly when the fan arrived, but this only took a few minutes. Also beware with small children, the space between the wires on the cover are large enough for my one-year-old to slip his fingers in.

This fan really blows the air around. We are using it in our toy hauler (travel trailer). It is also very noisy but that is what we were looking for. We have a baby and needed some kind of white noise to help him sleep through us coming in at night. It has a very consistant hum.

Bought this to provide cooling for our dog during a herding trial last summer. Ran it off a Black & Decker Electromate power packBlack & Decker VEC026BD Electromate 400 Jump-Starter with Built-In Air Compressor. I agree with the other reviewer that the clamp is restrictive, but managed to position it so it directed the air where needed.

Slime 20017 Digital Tire Gauge 5-150 PSI with Lighted Tip

Slime 20017 Digital Tire Gauge 5-150 PSI with Lighted TipAfter using this gauge twice, it wouldn't turn on. So I figured the battery was dead and I took it apart to change it. It wasn't the battery that was bad but the battery/switch contacts. Almost an hour later I finally got them to work properly. The next time I used the gauge, in the space of four tires it went from working perfectly to needing three or four tries to get an accurate reading to not working at all. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of this product.

I've tried a variety of pencil and other gauges, but this one is tops. Works every time, and gives consistent results. I bought a few extras for family. Great product at great price.

I've had one of these for 5 years now and I think the battery is finally starting to go so I just bought another one. I drive a truck for a living and I use it regularly, sometimes at night so the light really helps. It's a great gauge, accurate and sturdy.

I bought one of these at a b&m store, that's brick & mortar, a year or two ago. I've used it a lot and like it so much I bought another from Amazon when I was buying some other stuff. It works well and seals the valve stem so the air loss is minimal. Excellent product IMO.

Want Slime 20017 Digital Tire Gauge 5-150 PSI with Lighted Tip Discount?

Not bad for under 10 bucks! Matches the pressure on my 3 pencil type gauges, but easier to use. Seals very well to valve stems. Holds pressure reading until reset by pressing it to next valve stem, or until auto-shutdown (about 1 minute with no activity). Better accuracy, and seals better than my $22 Accutire digital gauge. Light is a bonus at night. I've had this gauge several months and have used it dozens of times a week on two vehicles, and for experimenting with tire pressure on my new off road tires--zero problems. This is probably plenty accurate for most users, but I'm anal, and I'm shopping for a high end tire gauge. I'm curious to see how this will compare in accuracy.

UTX9 ATV Battery for DAZON Raider - Max (Kart) 150CC 04

UTX9 ATV Battery for DAZON Raider - Max 150CC 04This battery exactly replaced the battery on my generator. Same size and shape. The connectors are the same as well, so it was a direct replacement. It doesn't really clarify anywhere, but it is a 12v, 9a battery that comes completely sealed, fully charged, and ready to go. I set it into the holder, attached the leads, and it provided enough power to immediately start my generator. Nothing much more to say really. I recommend it.

Arrived 2 days earlier than stated. Worked right out of the box. Will use Chromebattery for my other bike battery needs.

LuguLake 12000 mAh Multi-function 12V 400Amp Portable Jump Starter with LED Flashlight, Power Bank

LuguLake 12000 mAh Multi-function 12V 400Amp Portable Jump Starter with LED Flashlight, Power Bank / Pack exteral power Battery, 12V Car Battery Charger, Output 5V/12V/19V, WhiteI was provided this power bank for review with the understanding that I will not be reviewing the jump start feature. Taking the battery out of my car or waiting for it to die was impractical, but there were so many other features to test.

I have never owned a power bank with so many functions. It's a power bank for laptops and small devices, a jump starter, and a flashlight all stored neatly in a lovely zippered case with a hand strap. I was impressed with the presentation.

JUMP STARTER

The power bank comes with two jumper cables. The wires are small in diameter compared to any jumper cables I've ever owned, but I'll keep this in my car in case I ever need it.

FLASHLIGHT

Other power banks have one little LED bulb they call a flashlight. This power bank has a real flashlight. It's bright, with multiple modes: always on, strobe, or flashing. Pay attention to the flashing. It doesn't just flash, it flashes SOS.

CHARGING A LAPTOP

This is the only power bank of 12000 mAh or smaller I've ever owned that not only charges small devices like cell phones and tablets, but also laptops.

It comes with eight laptop connectors. We have to just test them out to see which ones fit. I asked for a list from the manufacturer for the compatibilities and was given the following:

1) 4.8*1.7mm Asus/HP/NEC/Delta/Compaq

2) 5.0*3.0mm (with 1.0mm pin) Samsung

3) 5.5*1.7mm Asus

4) 5.5*2.1mm IBM/HP/NEC/Toshiba

5) 5.5*2.5mm Asus/HP/NEC/Delta/Compaq/IBM/Dell/Toshiba

6) 6.0*4.4*1.4mm Fujitsu/Sony/Samsung

7) 7.4*5.0*0.6mm HP/Dell

8) 7.9*5.5*0.9mm IBM/Lenovo

The connectors are labeled with letters in my kit, not numbers. The one labeled "C" fits my husband's Toshiba Satellite. None of them fit my Asus Eee PC.

I was impressed. It charged my husband's power hungry 17 inch laptop from dead to 60%. I didn't expect a full charge from a 12000 mAh power bank. I was happy it could do as much as it did.

CHARGING SMALL DEVICES

The power bank comes with seven connectors for small devices. I was emailed a couple of lists to identify the connectors. Both were different and neither of them appeared to match what I have. Here's the best I could come up with after some internet searching of connector photos and comparison with connectors from my other power banks:

* micro USB

* mini USB

* Nokia DC 2.0

* PSP

* LG

* Sony Ericsson

* Samsung G600

I am very sure of the micro USB and mini USB connectors, but beyond that is just my research and I could be wrong, as I don't own the other devices to test them out on.

I was able to charge my Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablets from dead to 83%. I'm a little disapointed with that. My other 12000 mAh power bank could give my Fire HD tablet a full charge with juice left over.

Of course, this power bank can also charge my iPhone 4S, though the connector for that is not supplied.

PROS:

+ multi-function: jump starter, power bank, flashlight

+ charges laptops

+ flashlight has multiple modes including SOS

+ comes with a case

+ comes with 8 laptop connectors and 7 small device connectors, neatly organized

CONS:

charges with AC adapter instead of a USB cord

larger than other 12000 mAh power banks

charging cable fits both input and output ports (easy to make an error)

does not fully charge a Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablet

small diameter for jumper cables

OVERALL IMPRESSION

My very first reaction when I opened the box was wow. This is a very good multi-function device. I've never had a power bank that could do so much. It's good to have in the car or on a camping trip or for emergencies.

If all you need just a power bank for charging cell phones on the go, I would go with something smaller, more portable. For a device that does everything, this is a great choice.

This product was provided for review by LuguLake Direct.

I've been playing with this kit for a while and really like it. The battery pack is a powerful one and at 12000 mAh is one of the best I've used. I tried a quick test on my iPad and it powered up in record time. If it can rapidly juice up a power hog, undoubtedly it will work with all your small devices. There are adapters for almost any kind of device. It doesn't have the 30-pin iPad/-iPhone adapter because you don't need it. You simply take off the plug and hitch your USB cable into the side of this unit.

One of the interesting things we accidentally discovered was a safety feature that would be perfect if you are on the road. You hold down the switch for three seconds to turn on the LED light, which is reasonably bright. If you lightly tap it again, you receive a strobe. Another light tap and you get the standard SOS signal. This was instantly recognized by another family member. If you never have to use this battery pack to jump start a car, it's worth carrying with you just in case of emergency. Everything comes in a nice faux leather case that closes with a dual nylon zipper system.

~ Mobile phone switch cable

~ 8-piece mobile phone connector set

~ Car adaptor

~ Home adapter

Input: 100 240V AC 50/60Hz

Output: 12V DC 1000mA

If you look at the interface you'll see from left to right a 19V 3.5 output port for a laptop, the battery indicator (five blue LED lights), a power switch, a 5V 2A output port for Smartphones, tablets, Kindle Fire, etc. a 12 V 5A output port for batteries, and a 12V 1A input port for self-charging. On the left-hand face there is the bright LED light/emergency signal and the port for the charging cables. The labeling has been silk-screened on and because it's silver, there isn't much contrast. I had to turn it back and forth to be able to read it, otherwise it blends in. My cables had a short in them so I was unable to try them with a car. This would be perfect to keep on hand for small engine batteries and general use. I really like this battery pack, especially because with all the added adapters, it's very useful even if you don't have to charge a car.

Buy LuguLake 12000 mAh Multi-function 12V 400Amp Portable Jump Starter with LED Flashlight, Power Bank Now

By par, this is the biggest battery power pack that I have. It also has the most attachments and accessories being a multi-function charger and car jump starter. It came with a zippered black leatherette case that otganizes everything with straps for each kind of attachments.

It came with 3 LEDs lit (out of 5 for full charge) so I plugged it to the wall with the AC adapter. The AC adapter is multivolt, it works 100V to 240V and 50 Hz to 60Hz, making it compatible with a lot of countries. It can also charge using the included cigarette lighter plug. Besides the 5V, 2Amp USB output that is normally used for tablets and phones, and the jump starter, it also provide a 19V, 3.5Amp output for notebooks and 12V, 2A output for a variety of car accessories.

For smaller charging jobs, it work excellent for my iPads, smartphones and mini speakers. With all the accessories included, what notably missing are the 30-pin Apple connector and the Lightning cable.

To jump start a car battery, it is important to make sure the power pack has enough juice. It should not have less than 3 LEDs in capacity which represents 60% of total full charge. Also you have to disconnect the charger within 30 seconds after starting your car. I have yet to test the full feature of the jump starter though. My battery on the Accord is three years old but not comletely gave up the ghost; so having this in my glove compartment will hopefully prove to be useful in times of emergency.

I have several power packs with LED flashlights, this has the brightest lamp I have seen so far. You turn it on by pressing the power button for two seconds. It will cycle from steady light and two modes of emergency flashing lights fast and slow.

The user manual is short but has done well explaining how to use the charger/jumper. Don't lose it or make a digital copy for future.

I was provided a sample of this product, so I could use it and write my unbiased review.

(#1 REVIEWER)This power pack combines many charging capabilities: mobile devices, laptops, and a car. This unit performed exceptionally well with my mobile devices (details below), jumper cables measured with a volt meter showed 12.24v which is sufficient to start a car, however it did not perform well recharging my laptop as I will detail below.

GENERAL

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This power pack is fairly small in size. The power pack itself is 3"x6"x1". It comes with a 7"x10"x1.5" faux leather case, which holds the unit and various cables and connectors that come in the package.
In addition to charging functions, the power pack has a led light. The light is very powerful and bright. It also has several modes: in addition to the steady light, it has a fast blink, and a slow blink. I plan to keep this charger in the car, and the blinking function could be quite useful in emergency situation.
I am attaching a photo collage that I will be referencing in this review, the photos can be located by following 'customer photos' link under the main photo. Photo #1 is a photo of the leather case with all the items included in this package. The package include 7 connectors for mobile devices, 8 adapters for laptop power port, and also includes a wall outlet adaptor, 12V car charger, and jumper cables with battery clamps.
MOBILE DEVICES
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The package contains 7 connectors for mobile devices, including mini USB and USB. The other connectors are not labelled and not explicitly listed in the documentation. I have tested this unit with four of our mobile devices (Nexus 7 Tab, Galaxy Nexus Phone, Galaxy 7.7 Tab, and iPad Mini). Mini USB fit my Nexus devices, but none of the included plugs fit iPad Mini or Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.

I always use the same test to measure the performance of various power banks so I can compare the relative performance of each unit. I charge various mobile devices for 10 minutes and measuring how much each unit was charge in that 10 minute period.

Here are the results of my tests with LuguLake 12000:

✔ Nexus 7 Tab:_____________________3%___ AC source

✔ Samsung Galaxy Nexus Phone:______8%___ AC source

✔ iPad Mini:______________________ 4%___ AC source

✔ Samsung Galaxy 7.7 Tab:_________ 4%___ AC source (with charging cable, discharging with a data cable)

I use Battery App by Elvison to determine how each device recognized the charging source. 'AC' status means the charging is at full charging rate. 'USB' status indicates charging at a lower charging rate. 'Discharging' status means that the charging rate is below the power that the device is consuming so it slows down the discharge rate but does not re-charge.

Photos #4,5,6 show the various devices as I was running the tests.

Prior to this battery pack the best test results I got was from Yubi Power YP840A 8400mAh (Nexus 7 was 7%(port1) and 4%(port2), Nexus phone was 7%(port1) and 8%(port2), Samsung Galaxy 7.7 3%(port1) and 0%(port2). As you see this one is on par or better with the best I have tested.

JUMPER CABLES

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To test the jumper cables, I attached the volt meter to battery clamps. As you can see in photo #2, the reading is 12.24v which is sufficient to jump the car. I now keep this case in my car and will update this review when I will have a chance to use it to restart a dead battery.
To jump the car the power back should be more than half full of charge. There are 5 lights that indicate the charging state of the pack and it should at least 3 light out of 5 on with a steady blue light. The manual recommends recharging the power every three months when it is not in use.
LAPTOP
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The package contains 8 adapters for laptop power plug, and one of them fit my IBM laptop.

✔ Laptop:_______charged from 20% to 35% in 30 minutes (external battery pack went from 100% full to empty)

By comparison, Intocircuit Power Castle Series PC26000 power pack, charge the same laptop from 5% to 69% in 1 hour (external battery pack went from 100% full to empty).

When LuguLake 12000 was done charging my laptop, I touched it to unplug from my laptop and had to drop it back on the table. It was extremely hot. If you use the power pack to charge your laptop please be careful how you handle immediately after it finished charging. The unit cooled off in about 10 minutes.

OTHER NOTES

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. The labels for outlets on the unit are written in faint grey font, they are hard to see on white background. Input and output ports look very similar, and the labels are very important.
2. The package itself and the manual are aimed at a Chinese market. Some of the writing in the box does not have English translations. The manual has one side in Chinese and the back in English. All but one page of the manual appear to have the same content, but Chinese language has one page that was not translated.
I received this unit for evaluation and testing from manufacture. Based on the tests it performed very well with my the mobile devices, but did not do well with the laptop. I also like the leather case that keeps everything neatly together.
Want LuguLake 12000 mAh Multi-function 12V 400Amp Portable Jump Starter with LED Flashlight, Power Bank Discount?
I was a bit skeptical (to say the least) when I was contacted by LuguLake to test and review this battery charger. I've charged my iPad and cell phone many times using batteries like this, but jump starting a car? Running my computer? After several e-mails concerning what it did (and how it did it), I agreed to accept a complimentary sample to consider for a review.
I don't think there is anything else out on the market today that does all of the things that this little battery (about the half size of a paperback book) does. Here are some of the features that really impressed me:
1) The sheer variety of the tips. You can charge anything, from cell phones to computers just attach one of the tips and hook it up. This will likely be the most used function from my perspective, it states it will run a computer up to 3 hours. Since computers vary in power consumption, I would carry it as a back up, but would test it before I considered how long it would charge my personal computer.
2) It has ALMOST every type of tip to charge mobile phones and devices. Well, except for the iPhone and iPad. If you are planning to use it to charge one of those, you will need to keep this specific cord in this kit.
3) It has connectors to jump start your car. You connect the red clamp to the positive and the black clamp to the negative (I know this is standard, but I wish they had put a small mark on the clamp, I have added a label in case I can't read the instructions if I ever need to use it). Then you plug it into the battery and turn it on, you can then start your car. Once it is started you simply remove the cables.
Will it work? That was the topic of several e-mails back and forth with LuguLake. They actually recommended that I disconnect my battery and use this to start the car to confirm it. In fact, they were very confident that it would work that way, since reviewers in other countries have done the test to prove it works. They actually ASKED me to try it so that I could confirm that it would work. They were confident enough of their product, that it impressed me. However, testing it this way was a bit out of my area of expertise, and I chose not to do so.
Along this same line, you might wonder about the batteries that use the power plug in your car as an alternative. These are actually small trickle chargers that take about 20 minutes to charge your battery enough for it to start on its own. LuguLake has decided to make theirs in a way that will actually jump start the car, so you can get on your way immediately. It is supposed to support three jump starts on your car, but hopefully you will need only one.
4) You can charge the battery either using the included charger for the car OR using your home power. Mine arrived fully charged. You need to "top it off" about once a month to make sure you have power when you need it, or make sure it is charged anytime you have used it. The car charger makes this easy if you are keeping it in your car.
5) It has an emergency light, with two kinds of flashers. In order to turn it on, you hold the power button down for approximately 5 seconds. You can then cycle through the different modes.
6) All of this comes in a nice black case about the size of a large hardcover book.
I have been able to test all of the features except for the jump start feature and actually hope I never need to test it under live conditions, and am happy to be able to recommend it to you based upon my experiences.
Camco 55572 18" 90 Degree 50 AMP Male/50 AMP Female Powergrip Locking Adapter
Camco 55572 18' 90 Degree 50 AMP Male/50 AMP Female Powergrip Locking AdapterFirst off, this adapter is very well made, heavy and well put together.
Can't agree to the other review. I ordered this for my RV and because of my power inlet having the door open from bottom to top, this adapter sticks up in the air when connected, not towards the ground. Called Camco and they concluded that this adapter is made correctly, my inlet on my RV is mounted wrong. The door on the inlet should open from right side to left side. After a survey from other Montana owners, everyone's inlet is mounted the same as mine, door opens bottom to top. So, my choice is to try to move the inlet so the door opens from right to left , or return the adapter.
EDIT: Upon further inspection, I found that my inlet plug was not mounted per the adapter's specifications. The adapter GROUND was on the left of the plug, and my campers inlet GROUND was at the top. I moved the inlet plug so the GROUND was on the left and the adapter works GREAT!!!!
This is a great plug, it puts almost no stress on the outside outlet on the side of the couch from the waight of the cord, the cord dont stick out past the sides of the couch and make a tripping hazard,easyer to install and remove not having to try to hold up and line up the heavy cord plug. IT IS A MUST HAVE FOR ME.
We just traded up to a 50 amp 5th wheel trailer. When we plug in the power cord it bends at a 90 degree angle putting stress on the cord. We purchased this and now my husband (the electrician) is much happier with the way the system fits together. We did have to turn the outlet on our trailer 45 degrees so that the adapter would lock into position but that was just the way our trailer was set up and was not a big issue for him to do. Excellant purchase, works exactly like we hoped and will extend the life of our power cord by eliminating the stress on the cord.
The RV end of the adapter was oriented completely wrong and made this thing useless.
With it plugged into the RV, instead of it hanging straight down and relieving the stress on the outlet, it ended up being up at around 10 o'clock. The orientation of the RV side is complete wrong. Even after removing the outlet from our RV and orienting so it was as close as possible to how the adapter was oriented, it hung at the 7 o'clock and was trying to unlock the plug. Totally defeats the intended purpose of the adapter.
If they corrected the orientation of the RV end so the ground lug was at the 12 o'clock, like every RV on the planet, it would be useful, but as is, don't waste your money.
We returned the item for a refund.
This is the permanent solution to a 50 amp power cord problem that places stress on the RV power inlet and the internal connections on the factory provided power cord. The item fits tight and properly into the socket on my Keystone Montana once I corrected the factory mis-install of the receptacle (this was a very easy 15 minute fix that involved 7 screws and rotating the receptacle head). Well worth the money. Package arrived ahead of schedule with no packaging or shipping issues.
Kinetik KHC1800 1800-Watt 12-Vault Power Cell
  • AGM Technology
  • Sealed Non-Spillable Design
  • Mount In Any Position
  • Ultra Low ESR
  • Superior Heat & Vibration Resistance
Had a kinetik 1400 before this and this was the best purchase I have made for my Sound System so far. Everything starts with good power sources, you can't have loudness and clarity without the power there for it and this supplies all of it and then some. Just going from a 1400 to an 1800 I can hear the difference, Never buy a capacitor again biggest waste of money if you ask me. Buy one of these as a spare for the trunk and run 1/0awg wire to power it.
I bought this item for a 2005 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. I installed about 1500 watts of stereo equipment in my truck and of course it put my electrical system to the test. After doing the big 3 I realized that my electrical system was still being over taxed. I decided to replace my oem battery with this one and it helped tremendously. My system sounds crystal clear no matter what I am playing and no more dimming lights, or battery gauge going crazy because of the electrical drain. BUT!!!! The battery post are screw in. That is not the problem. The problem is the post head was forged around a bolt, and since the head is lead it has stripped off the head. Kinetic should have produced these the same way an oem battery is designed to prevent this. For the price I paid I expected a little better quality. If you can find a battery post that is better built then go for it, because I am telling you, if your electrical system can't handle your stereo this is the fix. I have tried to run this battery down to a point were my truck wont start and I haven't yet. The stereo shuts off first and then I turn on the switch and the truck starts immediately. The battery post is the only reason I gave this a 3.
