It's OK. It does the job for the most part, however it is not secured well in the power socket and when you make turn faster than 10 mph it rotates to the side and falls out. I have to constantly make sure it is plugged in and re-adjust it. Not a convenient thing to do when driving..

It is a rare occasion that I buy something from Amazon that doesn't work out. This one is a dud. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3. I have tried every position that I can get the holder in and it is not strong enough to hold my phone upright. It stays upright for a while, but then it slowly moves (rotates) downward. But, that's not the only problem. In an attempt to give it some stability, they added some rubber gaskets to beef up the part that goes into the charger hole (sorry for that technical description). While that seemed like a good design choice to me, what it does is interfere with the charging connection. Blue light on, off, on, off, etc. Every time it makes and then breaks the connection, the Galaxy gives you a little beep. I thought at first that I had screwed up a setting on the phone it sounded like an alarm going off. I guess if your car charger is positioned exactly right you will be able to get the phone rest upright on a flat surface. I have a Lincoln MKZ and a Dodge Ram 1500, the holder doesn't work for either.

I purchased this for use in my car (Chevy Malibu) which has a plug that is almost horizontal. The flexible neck bends easily to hold the phone vertically, and the connection is plenty strong to hold the phone exactly where I need it. Most of the time I use it as a mount, but when needed I have expandable USB cables to plug in for power. There is a blue LED on the base which lights up when the mount is inserted enough for power. It holds the phone just fine even when it is not inserted enough to trigger the power.

The mount easily adjusts to hold either my Samsung Galaxy S3 and my wife's iPhone 4S.

My only complaint is the that the universal mount is a little thick on the bottom corners. This makes is a challenge to tap the 'back' arrow on the Galaxy S3. If not for this minor issue (which is not an issue with the iPhone) I would give it a 5 star rating.

Not worth the money, trust me. Why? Because it's poorly designed, you risk damaging your phone using this. It keeps on falling out, and won't stay still when you make a turn. There is no way I would trust this product to hold a $600 phone.

I purchased this amp kit about a month ago for my Rockford T8002 sub amp. I actually read all of the other reviews after I purchased the kit, thank God for that too. I might not have bought it if I had read them first. That would have been a shame, because this is actually a very good kit as far as kits go. Especially considering the price. The kit had everything you need from loom to zip ties to crimp connectors, everything. I read the other reviews about the crimp connectors and I keep reading things such as hammer and vice grips and pliers. These are CRIMP connectors, hello. Use crimpers, crimp pliers. I didn't even use my large crimpers, I used my regular Klein crimpers. The crimp fittings went right on and crimped right onto the wire, solid and stable by the way. The wire, which I keep hearing so much about, is indeed 0 or 1/0 cable size by the AWG code. The problem here is we have all been spoiled to companies over sizing their cable. I read one company, not naming any names, they had three different size and capacity 1/0 cable. Sorry folks, but if it is larger than .3249" in diameter it is no longer officially 1/0, but it is a larger guage. The RCA cable is well made, nothing extravagant, but it gets the job done and done well. Someone actually made a reference to the remote lead not being very large in relation to the other cables especially the power wire. They have absolutely NOTHING to do with each other. The remote lead usually connects to a TL494CN pulse width modulator chip which requires maybe three electrons to turn on. (That was a joke by the way.) I have never seen a remote lead correctly wired conduct more than 500mA. The wire included will have no problem with that current flow. I am sorry but for less than $40 this kit gets a 5 star rating. No, it isn't an Esoteric Ultra Flow kit, but then again, it didn't cost $120 either. In the end, this kit gets the job done!!

I NEVER do reviews but this one was worth the hassle. I own a 2000 F250 Superduty. I have an Xplod deck with JL AUDIO 450/4 used only for my door speakers and a JL AUDIO 1000/1 only for my W7. I usually dont go cheap and buy cheap audio equipment but I say all the other good reviews and said what the hell. So I installed it after taking out JL AUDIO power wire which sucks by the way. (Wore out too fast) My volt meter which used to read 11.6V now is about 13.6 which is a great power difference and Im pretty happy with the product. If your running the same power I am or less you will be happy with this kit.

I ordered this amp kit with a Load of doubt's. A 0 awg kit being cca and actually perform to even close to my expectations. I like the gravel around my sub woofer box was blown away. I could not believe the power and ground wire. I swear It looks like a rope you would expect to see hanging in a tree over a lake for a swing. I used this to hook up a boss nxd 4500 watt onyx mono block amp. Let me tell you something,this may or may not be true 0 awg but i had to wrap the end around and sweet talk it into the big holes for the power and ground with out any casing near the opening. The fuse holder is meh,but those are cheap to moderately expensive depending on what you want.

The remote wire leaves something to be desired,even for 18 gauge it was very fragile but if your nice with it,it will do just fine.

The terminal ends if you dont have the proper crimp tool is a nightmare,if you dont have the money for a crimp tool use a soldier gun and proper soldier and you will be fine.

I did not use the battery connect as i have side post so i cant comment on it's function but it looks decent.

All I can add is that for a 40 dollar 0 gauge kit,this is a hot item. It's Not a world renown name,it is a cca kit,and it is in my opinion a great kit for the every day driver install,but most likely not a good kit for competition style amps/subs

I've owned several power inverters since I travel just about half of the week every week. I'm always working from the car. This is the best design I've seen so far for a power inverter. First, it has two inputs which is great. This way I can plug my laptop in and still be able to charge...a cell phone, or run another electronic device such as a portable DVD player. Another solid feature is the internal fan. This enables the unit to stay COOL. Other inverters I've had get so hot, you can barely touch them, which probably led to their malfunction in the first place. The other great feature is that the fuse for this device is EXTERNAL. Which means if it blows, its easy to replace. The last couple I've had have died and the fuse was the culprit, but since it was internal, it wasn't a simple fix. So thats a great design innovation on this one. Its also good that the power inverter comes with battery clips too..this way you can run it from the car lighter or the battery direct.

This is quite a nice unit for the money. Mine came with two cords the cigarette lighter cord shown in the picture and a cord with alligator clips for connecting directly to the battery. It has an automatic short circuit detector and shutdown, a low battery voltage alarm and low voltage shutdown so you won't wreck your car battery, and automatic overload detection and shutdown. It has two outlets, a power switch, and an automotive type fuse, and an attractive metal case. Fairly impressive for the price.

I've only had this for a week so I can't speak about its reliability. I can confirm the fan noise, but I looked around a bit and that seems to be a common complaint about all the small inverters. The outlets have a ground pin, but users should not be deceived -unless the unit itself is grounded (to a ground stake) the only ground is the chassis of the car. That's true for all of these units.

I was about to leave on a long road-trip. I liked the fact it had 2 plugs. But when it arrived and I opened it to check the manual, I discovered it requires a special connection to the car battery and was not recommended for most cars. I checked my car manual and discovered it could only handle 100 WATTS, so the purchase was totally useless. Please check your car manual before you purchase such an item. In fact, on the road trip, we burned out the car adapter by overloading it with 3 devices with standard car charger adapters. We also found that another AC adapter overheated, and would not supply sufficient power, unless the other devices were unplugged.

This powerful yet inexpensive inverter is very well made. With its 300 Watt continuous capability you can successfully power up various devices in your car. Modified sine wave is suitable since most of the modern electronic devices have switching supply anyway. Only direct electrical motor devices may have some problem with this.

The only drawback in my opinion is that the fan is always running what creates a certain sound. It would be essential to run the fan only in case of large power consumption and a significant temperature raise. The similar "smart fan" feature has been employed almost everywhere these days. The unneeded noise in the car caused by this fan is just a little annoyance and forced me to give this excellent unit only 4 stars.

Otherwise, this is a highly recommended buy.

This 1/0 Through wall connection was a bit loose around the 1/0 cable. It tightened down good but I'd say it's splash proof at best. I've added silicone sealant around the inner gasket so water will not come into the cab from the engine bay.

I have bought this in the past and now its all i use when doing an install when having to go threw the fire wall to run my power wires. Seems to hold up much better then the rubber boots I was using. As long as you can get to it to tighten.

This is truly well built. The white part of the Grommet tightens to attach the grommet to the firewall whereas the black part consists of tiny grooves which tightens around the wire as you turn thereby creating a tight waterproof seal. The grommet itself is very firm and seems to be able to stand high temperatures. One point to note, there is no 'stinger' logo or writing anywhere on this grommet.

I bought some 1/0 welding cable for my audio system, this product wont even get remotely tight. Also it claims you only need to drill a 1" hole, wouldn't go in no matter what I did. Threw this away and just used some rubber grommets and some silicone instead.

Had no real use for the key chain, but the price on the package was right. The charger cable did actually fit into my Sony Walkman and it works. Both the car charger connector and wall charger accept standard USB cables and each one works. All three items are solid and appear well made--the cable is not flimsy. The real test to this inexpensive stuff is how long does it last? My set has functioned through 2 weeks of use and seems fine. I'd take a chance on these again. Certainly any life after three months will be a bonus.

If you own a Nuvi 765T you probably know by now that when constantly using the unit powered from the car's cigarette lighter, the original battery will drop dead and loose its ability to charge pretty quickly. This is a very practical solution to refurbishing your Nuvi 765T GPS. It comes complete with a screwdriver and lever needed to unscrew and pry the unit open. A double-sided tape would have been a nice add-on but I was able to use the one I peeled off the old battery from inside the GPS. There is also not much room for the battery to room around inside so I wasn't too worried. All in all, it took me 3 minutes to replace the battery.

Highly recommendable to make a low cost battery uplift to your used / battery depleted unit.

I live in the Chicago area and leave my unit in the car all year around. Not good for battery life but if I leave it in the house, it will never be with me when I REALLY NEED IT! I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought this kit with a DVD to tell me how to install a new battery in my Garmin Nuvi 765T. I was very pleasantly surprised to see (by watching the enclosed DVD that ran without a hitch on my computer) that I just had to unscrew two small screws in the back, use the green shimmy tool to GENTLY pry open the case (and this was the hardest part took me probably about 6 minutes, but it wasn't awful...just had to be careful and patient the video made it look a bit easy), disconnect two circuits on the board which came out easily, take out the old battery (again, a little patience required because of the cement-like glue they use to hold it to the back of the Garmin's case), use a piece of double-sided tape which I had in a drawer (didn't come in the kit...sounds like some people get double-sided tape and others don't) to seat the new battery where the old one was and stick it down, then go in reverse!

Having the DVD helped relieve any anxiety about the "procedure" of opening up my GPS. It really was easier than I had expected. The battery showed 4 bars (full) on my Garmin when I booted it back up, which made me smile. :) Charging now for the heck of it and I plan to give it a shot tomorrow since I use my GPS several times a week. Now I can spend the money I saved on maps for life. Thanks, seller, for a GREAT product I'll definitely be back if I need your help again! :D CHEERS!

I am not sure whether our Garmin is simply a lemon or whether this product is. It might well be the former but either way we have no functioning GPS. Installation was simple thanks to the accompanying video and our Garmin appeared to kick in with full power when we first charged it up. But, alas, it drained, displayed "Low Battery," and stopped working within 30 minutes just as it had prior to switching out the battery. Very annoying. I would make sure you truly have a battery issue before you purchase this because we obviously can't go back to Garmin now having opened the unit and installed this.

I thought my Garmin was a goner after I allowed the battery to get fried by the sun while in my vehicle. I was actually looking for a replacement when I came across this product. It came with everything needed (including special tools) to replace the battery and a DVD with very clear instructions. It took me maybe 10 minutes to complete and my Nuvi has worked great ever since.

This is a surprisingly good product. I have a very good GPS in my car, integrated with OnStar. I bought the Magellan so that I could plug it into a rental car after flying to Florida. I also bought the adapter so that I could program in the places I wanted to visit before I left home in Canada.

The Magellan was quite good almost as good as the one in my car, which cost about 30 times more. It is very easy to program and it is easy to read and hear in strange surroundings. Most of Florida is pretty simple to navigate on one's own but Miami is a nightmare for all but the cognoscenti. There, the Magellan was dead-accurate. I would have been lost without it. It saved my bacon several times.

My only quibble would be the geeky voice with a Spanish accent, but I guess that's the state of the art. Also, be careful programming the right options. If you "minimize freeways," Magellan can take you on a horrendous detour to save a two buck toll. Once I made this mistake once and realized the error, there was no problem.

Schumacker battery chargers die young and suddenly. I have owned 3 different Schumacker battery chargers and all three only lasted about 500 hours of charging. They just stop charging. I have owned a different brand charger for about 35 years and another for about 20 years. Both of these chargers still work fine. I believe that Schumacker chargers have a design flaw.

The length on this is important. It allows you to be on the side of the car's battery from behind so that you don't have to risk turning the car around the opposite direction (useful on high-speed roads/highways, etc). Good length and solidly built.

There are plenty of jumpers in the market. These are better than most. Good, thick cable and nice clamps. The bag is great because even with a clean, well-maintained engine compartment this avoids risk of transferring grease or acid from a car battery onto something else in your trunk. This product works very well that I don't think I'd use the second tape that came with this order. But if for some reason I do, I don't doubt that it would work just as well as the first.

Produces very good quality sound. I had to reduce bass and change other settings to normal levels as this really was reproducing well.

Don't know why they are not doing well in other areas. Next time i buy any audio hardware, i will give Phillips a serious try.
