Husky Liners Custom Fit Front Center Hump Liner for Select Dodge Ram Models (Black)

Husky Liners Custom Fit Front Center Hump Liner for Select Dodge Ram ModelsIf you are having problems with your floor mats bunching under need the gas pedal or under the rear seats you won't be sorry with these liners

I love them

This matt is about as thin as a raincoat, and made of hard plastic not rubber. So before you install it you may need to set it out in the sun for a bit until it softens up. Especially if it arrives out of its packaging like a fruit rollup. If you have a coin tray on the floor at the front of the center console you will have to unbolt it to allow the matt to slip underneath. You can poke holes out where the bolt locations are, or just use a pair of children's safety scissors to cut slots and shimmy it underneath the tray like a piece of paper. It serves its purpose, preventing drink spills from getting on your carpeted hump. But for the money, I just wish it were thicker and make of a better material like rubber. That way you won't be worried about tearing a hole threw it when a passenger wants to rest their boot on it.

EnercellTM 90W Portable AC Power Inverter

EnercellTM 90W Portable AC Power Inverter
  • Continuous AC power: 90W
  • Peak power: 180W for one cycle
  • Output voltage: 115VAC RMS +/-10VAC, 5VDC +/-0.25VDC
  • Output frequency: 60Hz +/-3Hz
  • No-load current draw: 0.5A

Run AC powered devices with modest power requirements for short periods of time away from AC power or in a power outage or plug into your car or a emergency sealed lead acid battery for longer run times.

This device, about half the size and weight of a brick, contains a 14.8V 000mAh lithium battery and an 90W inverter. The inverter can be powered off the internal battery or external 12VDC source. The internal battery theoretically has a 56watt*hour capacity but in practice about 40Watt*hours makes it through the inverter. On the internal battery, run time is about 12 hours with no load, 1:50 with a 19W load (digital oscilloscopeRigol DS1052E 50 MHz Digital Oscilloscope with 2 channels plus USB storage and connectivity and 1 GSa/sec sampling with switching supply), and an estimated 25minutes with a 90W load. To estimate runtime, divide 40Watt*hours by the sum of the average power consumption in watts of the device to be powered and 3.3watts internal waste. Use a Kill-A-Watt meter ($25) to measure the average power consumption of devices which may be lower than the worst case values on nameplate. BTW, the Kill-A-Watt P3 International P4400 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage MonitorP3 International P4460 Kill A Watt EZ Electricity Usage MonitorP3 International P4480 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor with Electronic Graphic Timer displays "dC" instead of roughly 60Hz when connected to the output of the Enercell.

It is generally a mistake to use an inverter to power low power devices when running off local battery. The low efficiency of the inverter and AC supply combined is perhaps 60% compared to about 87% with a 12V car charger/adapter and the quiescent current when the load is not drawing power is around 3.5-25W for the inverter/ac supply vs about 0.035W for the adapter. AC powered devices are also often less efficient. It was a mistake not to include a 12V power outlet on this device. USB port is only rated for 500mA and does not have a separate power switch meaning you are wasting 3.3W instead of 0.035W. This device should have been built with a metal case/passive cooling instead of a power sucking fan. The fan uses relatively low power, sounds like it has poor quality bearings, and runs whenever the inverter/usb is on or whenever connected to an external power source. Because the life expectancy of the fan is poor, this might not last long use as a UPS for your DSL/cable modem.

With an external $80 26pound U1 size 12V 35Ahsealed lead acid deep cycle battery Lead Acid Battery(and separate charger or solar panels) run time can be extended about 10fold. A 20W solar panel ($60) LiteFuze® 20W Mono-crystalline Solar Panel 20 Watt High-Efficiency Durable Heavy Duty Long Lasting Frame could recharge this device in about 1 day, although the specs don't say if the "12V" input will withstand the 20V open circuit voltage of a "12V" solar panel. And it certainly doesn't claim to have maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) or it might be a good match for a small solar panel. The Li-Ion battery back inside is worth about $50 but has about 1/10th the capacity of a heavier and larger $80 sealed deep cycle lead acid battery (smaller than average car battery). Since the enercell is Li-Ion and doesn't bring out the battery connections, you can't just add a battery and expect this device to keep it topped off.

BTW, the internal battery pack should be charged at least once a month due to internal leakage if you want it to have juice when you need it; for maximum shelf life, though, when not needed to be ready it is best to store at 40% charge.

Run a piece of AC powered test equipment such as a digital oscilloscope without cords or available ac power. Run a 6W netbook for about 4 hours (netbook battery will run 4-10hours). Or run it in car or on emergency battery at lower efficiency if you neglected to buy the car charger. Laptop maybe an hour, if that. High powered desktop computer, not at all. Power out, phone lines up, netbook charged but you didn't buy a 12V adapter for your DSL modem? Run it for a few hours on this device to get disaster info. Maybe run your wireless router, too, halving the runtime. Run a 27W Razor 23" LED backlit LCD 1080P HDTV for about 1.3 hours, long enough to catch a newscast in an emergency, if you don't have a battery operated TV. Don't try to run your 50" TV; it will probably overload this device. My HLT71 battery operated TV draws about 8W when not trying to charge internal battery) so it could run almost 4 hours extra. Maybe you forgot to upgrade your battery operated TV to work with digital TV and need to power your converter box. Maybe you need to fire up your AC powered CB or ham radio (QRP) base station long enough to get out a distress call. You aren't going to cook, heat or cool your house, do your laundry, or keep your food refrigerated (you might run a 50W thermoelectric cooler for about 45minutes but those need to run close to 24hours/day to keep food cold). You might run a clip on fan for a couple hours. You aren't going to run power tools. You can charge your cell phone but there are more efficient ways to do that. Slow chargers would be particularly inefficient with this device. You didn't think about emergencies when you bought your AC only weather radio? Well, you can run it off this device long enough to check the forecast but you can't run it 24hours/day to monitor for alerts (without inefficient use of external battery). Run your AC powered AM/FM or Shortwave radio for a bit if you don't have a battery powered one. It doesn't have a built in flashlight. Run a 16W compact fluorescent for about 2 hours. You can loan a little power to your neighbor or bring a little inside from your car. I would not plan on using this device as the primary way to run anything in an emergency but it can be useful for those things that slipped through the cracks in your planning.

This is a cute little device that didn't have great bang for the buck or capacity as a serious source of emergency power, particularly with the design flaws and inadequate documentation, at its retail price (particularly in a bad economy) but at closeout prices is a good deal. Add to that the product packaging and documentation which fails to tell you what you needed to know, for the few people who even knew it existed during the short stay on retail shelves, so people would be reluctant to shell out $100 for enough units to keep it in production. Less power than a jump start pack with inverter, 12VDC, and USB outlets but originally in the same price range, though smaller and lighter you pay a premium for the small size.Xantrex XPower Powerpack 600HD Portable Power SourceCobra CJIC 350 500 Amp Portable Jump-Start/Air Compressor with A/C and D/C Power OutletsEnergizer 84020 12V All-In-One Jump-Start System with Built-In Air Compressor and Power Inverter Those devices would have similar considerations, however, and should be evaluated for battery capacity, efficiency, and quiescent power consumption.

This is a very handy power source for running any AC device within the 90W capacity limit. It integrates a lithium battery with the small AC inverter in one small package. It has a cooling fan so there is some ambient noise. I use this device to power a pair of Audioengine2 powered speakers (which are remarkable in themselves) so my application is noise sensitive. I house the inverter inside a softpack carrier wish is used to carry the speakers and this pretty well baffles the noise. Could be used to provide extra power to laptops as well. The Enercell can be recharged from a 12-volt cigarette lighter or from a 120-volt wall outlet.

Just bought another one under $10. What a steal for a portable 120 vac or USB source.

I must say I'm very happy with the price! At less than $10, it is cheaper than most inverter on the market, yet it doubles as a batter back up as well as an inverter. I've just received the product and did some short test, so far I'm happy. Will know more once I go on a trip to Florida. I plan to use it as the inverter in the car and as power backup for my laptops and ipads.

Now, a few things I wasn't happy: the picture on amazon made it look much smaller than it is. The real thing is very thick, almost like a cube. Also, although the fan noise is not very loud, it is the whiny type that can be annoying. Hopefully with music on, it won't be too much trouble.

This llittle fella was the answer to a prayer. I needed to video record a special concert that lasted four hours. I recorded the sound on a separate device so the few parts to assemble the better.. The max batteries for the Canon camera only last 100 min. so I would have needed 3 @ $137.00 each. I discovered this unit which allowed me to plug the AC adapter for the camera in and record the entire night. It was incredible!! I have since done the same thing for another concert and it seems to last about 320-340 minutes. I have also powered my laptop for an additional 2½ hours when necessary.. I have already bought 2 more.

Ended up getting 2 more. Great to have on hand for home or your car. would make a great gift

Cobra MicroTalk CXT125 16-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GRMS Two-Way Radio

Cobra MicroTalk CXT125 16-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GRMS Two-Way Radio
  • 16 Mile Range
  • 22 Channels
  • 6 Rechargeable AAA batteries and "Y" wall charger included
  • Belt Clip included for easy carrying
  • Lead-Free Packaging

I bought the 2-way radio for our cruise we took. I bought it after reading about similar cobra products and liked the fact that batteries were rechargeable. After the initial charge the 2-way radio worked fine. We could communicate on the ship with each other to find where the other was, the voice was clear and crisp. One draw back was not having sub-channels on this product, as a result we could hear other conversations from other users. Even though the feature lists 16 mile range, I would say the maximum range was about 1 to 1.5 miles on an island without any major obstacles. The initial charge lasted a while but when the initial charge was gone, one of the radios would not recharge again and after a while the other failed to recharge. I tried charging for over 2 days but still no luck. I don't know where the failure was, whether it was the charger or the batteries themselves. I really like these radios but were useless without recharge so I ended up in returning to Amazon.

I bought this set of two walkies at Walmart for $24 and was attracted to the small size, simple design, and rechargeable batteries. I had intended to give them to my kids so when they hike about on our 25 acres of upstate forest, I can keep in touch with them. 16 miles under ideal conditions and 1 mile in the city according to the back panel. From the front lawn of our suburban home, without more than a few trees blocking, the signal faded after 1500 feet. By a mile, mostly static and largely inaudible. I would suggest that at $24, they are a great toy and within 1000ft, certainly as clear as a bell. Don't rely on them for anything over a mile especially if staying in contact is critical.

I also bought this at Walmart. Charged it up for 15 hours per instructions. The wall charger never even got warm. Indicator still showed less than 10% charge. Put in fresh AAA's, same deal. Boxed them back up and returned next day.

White Micro USB Cable + USB Car Charger + USB Wall Charger For Barnes & Noble Nook Touch

White Micro USB Cable + USB Car Charger + USB Wall Charger For Barnes & Noble Nook TouchThis charger fell apart the first time I used it. Charger would not work in my car. I do not recommend this item at all!

I bought this for my new Evo Shift. It works fine. I've had no problems. You get the car and wall charger. It's a 3rd of the price elsewhere. Great buy.

I posted another review but it was mysteriously removed!

The truth is the truth.

The wall charger provided with the white cable provided locks your phone while it's being charged, the phone also gets over heated.

The car charger with the white cable provided worked for the first three days if you wrap the cord around the phone. After those 3 days it no longer worked.

I have a usb cable that came with the phone and it works well with the car charger, I haven't tried it with the wall portion.

When the seller read my first negative review, they immediately sent me a refund and asked me to remove my review. I didn't remove it. I'm guessing they took it upon themselves to remove it.

The refund a was a nice gesture, however it doesn't change the fact that this is not a quality product.

Samsung Nexus S Multimedia Vehicle Dock with Car Charger Adapter - Car Kit - Retail Packaging - Bla

Samsung Nexus S Multimedia Vehicle Dock with Car Charger Adapter - Car Kit - Retail Packaging - BlackIn the product listings, and even on the back of the box for this Nexus S Vehicle Navigation Mount it boasts:

"FEATURES

Auto Detect: Automatically puts the Handset in Vehicle Menu Mode when Docked"!

No, it doesn't. I can see no way the phone would know it is docked, since the dock is just a passive piece of plastic, and there are no connectors between the dock and the phone. This seems to be like claiming that putting your phone in a plastic case will open Google Maps. So why is this 'feature' is advertised on the product box, yet there is no mention of it in the product user guide. This feature does not seem to exist.

Worse still, the side of the box shows a picture of the dock, with an arrow pointing to the back of the dock where the thumb-tightener is, boasting a wonderful:

"Integrated Micro USB Charging Port"!

Where is this "integrated port"? There is no such port. What there is, is a standard cigar charger cable bundled loose in the box. How is a loose cable "integrated"? How is a regular micro-USB charger plug an "integrated port"?

What it feels like is Samsung designed this product, then realized how bad it was, so made up some lies to put on the packaging. Sadly the end result is a very unhappy customer, and Samsung guilty of false advertising.

Even worse is although the thick plastic is matte, it is a reflective matte, so it reflects up onto your windscreen, obscuring your view of the road. Great! Hey Samsung, ever tried driving in a sunny place like LA with this thing?

Finally, the beveling joint has an extremely small range of motion, so much so that I could not find any suitable location in my car, except one that left the phone screen facing the ceiling. Unbelievable.

Do not buy this product, you will be sorely disappointed. I recommend the Nexus S Active Dock from ProClip, which does have a real, actual, "integrated charging port".

Granted, the word "Dock" in the title is wrong. It is not a dock but a holder.

As a holder, it is excellent. It firmly sticks to the window but still comes off easily if you flip the lever. There's a knob that you can turn to unlock the plastic part that embraces the phone to adjust its orientation. The knob is in convenient position and you only need to turn it a bit to unlock. Once locked, the whole thing is rigid and holds the phone reliably. I have another holder where the mechanism is not that good and slowly follows gravitation and you have to readjust every 100 miles or so. Not so with this one: I used the Nexus S as GPS device for thousands of miles and this holder fully satisfied me.

The plastic part that holds the phone has another lever behind to release it. So you can take it off and it works like a protector for your phone. I found it to be very comfortable to do this. It does require some practice so you until you're able to get it off because this lever is somewhat obstructed. If you know where it is it works very well.

The only thing that sucks a little about this holder is when you try to take the phone out of it. There's yet another lever that's supposed to let the phone come off easily but that's a bad joke. I always end up prying open the two edges at the phone's top. This works OK, but you need two hands and it's not an elegant, quick movement. Also it requires some practice so you don't push the buttons on the phone or touch the display.

For less then 20 Dollars this is a definitive buy.

Buy Samsung Nexus S Multimedia Vehicle Dock with Car Charger Adapter - Car Kit - Retail Packaging - Bla Now

Works well as a mount, the design of the base is a nice way to hide the suction cup latch means. As a plus it does include the power supply. The dock doesn't offer any charging connection like certain docks do (think Nexus One or some of the Droid branded docks from Motorola) so you'll have to plug the power in each time. But for $18 or so it's not a bad deal.

The main thing I don't like is that it's hard to get the phone in and out sometimes. Might be the way you have to hold it but I've yet to get it to go smoothly, essentially you're snapping the phone in to place in the dock.

Read Best Reviews of Samsung Nexus S Multimedia Vehicle Dock with Car Charger Adapter - Car Kit - Retail Packaging - Bla Here

The box clearly states that the phone will go into 'car mode' when docked but it is absolutely not the case! I understood this from reading the reviews before buying but it's still a damn shame.

That said it suctions great on any flat surface, the phone is held in tightly and it's not too difficult to pop in or out. Wish it was a little more integrated like actually putting the phone into car mode and having the connectors for charging and audio actually be part of the holder so I don't have to manually plug it in and out every time but it works.

Want Samsung Nexus S Multimedia Vehicle Dock with Car Charger Adapter - Car Kit - Retail Packaging - Bla Discount?

I have a Sprint Nexus S 4G phone. The mount is wonderful. Extremely easy to get the phone in and out. The phone does not vibrate while in the mount. Unfortunately, Samsung screwed everything up by including an under powered car charger. The Samsung car charger has a power output of 700mA. When the phone's GPS and WiMAX radios are on at the same time the charger can't keep up. I used Google Navigation for a short 5 mile trip. The phone's battery level dropped from 96% to 82% while plugged into the charger. This phone requires a charger with a minimum power output of 1,000mA. As if Samsung's false advertising on the box about the mount's capabilities wasn't bad enough.

Schumacher XP500 Instant Portable Power Source

Schumacher XP500 Instant Portable Power SourceWe bought this at Walmart a few months ago with little to no research ( which isn't like me at all) so I was very surprised to find the

unit works like a champ. It was bought specifically to start a riding mower whose battery always seems to be dead. Far easier to take this unit to the mower then to try jump starting it with a vehicle.I was delighted it worked so well. I was given the chance to help a stranded motorist with a dead battery as few weeks ago and thought here is a chance to see if it can crank the big trucks not just the mower.

I remember the look on the guys face when I pulled this from the back seat of my truck..He said that little toy isn't going to

start this truck..I simply hooked the terminals red to + and Black to the asked him to turn over the engine..truck started without the slightest

hesitation...the look on his face was well worth the money we paid for this unit.

The operation is simple enough..after the unit is fully charged per the manual..hook the terminals up to the battery posts and turn the knob to the on position

boom ,,done ..There are a row of led lights but they are high up on unit with no real way to aim or focus the light which might be handy changing a tire at night.

There is also usb port for small devices which is cool.

The only thing I didn't like is the way this plugs into the wall (for charging/recharging)..the prongs simply flip up from the back ..this makes it easy for the unit to not make contact..a small cord would have been nice..maybe one can bought ..I don't know.

So all in all it's a excellent unit and I plan to buy at least one for each vehicle for emergencies and we are getting my dad one for Christmas as well.

This is going to be my second battery charger of this brand; I got my first second hand and I have never had an issue with it. This is a great resource for not only jumping car batteries, but for power outages as well; the USB port makes and the 12 volt adapter makes it easy to plug in multiple devices for charging and the built in LED light is surprisingly bright given its size. It's light in weight so transporting is no issue as well and the battery life is great (I haven't yet fully drained the charge after multiple uses and hours). I used this on a camping trip, during Hurricane Irene and a freak Nor'easter this past October and it was a life saver especially going for days without power. I highly recommend this product for your charging and utility needs!

Schumacher SAC-109 Male-to-Male Connector

This is plenty good enough for boosting a compact car battery. My kids have stranded the car a few times by setting off the car alarm and not resetting it until the battery is too low to start the car. After some late night rescues with jumper cables I needed another solution. XP500 was it. I have never tested it with a totally dead car battery, but it works well to help a low battery. I wish it had a needle meter instead of LEDs, and it should come with the male-male 12v connector. I made a 20' one with 2 $.99 male plugs and some heater cord. The XP500 sits in the trunk getting charged up from the automobile charging system.

This device does what it's supposed to. After a lengthy initial charge, the monthly recharge doesn't take too long if you haven't used it. Has started a small Honda Fit battery that was practically dead and currently sits in the back of that car. Has a LED light which would be useful in a dark situation.

The power on device is a rotary dial for some reason. I'm not sure why it's not just a switch. Clamps are strong, but a little big, I had to work to position the positive in the small space available on the actual battery so it could make contact with the terminal. Be aware of that if you have a modern battery with fuses or other hard plastic around the terminal.

Want Schumacher XP500 Instant Portable Power Source Discount?

I had TWO: 1st returned after not taking a charge and the led lights not working correctly. (also wouldn't start the car and I ended up calling a wrecker for $30 bucks anyway)

Replacement, I charged and charged... Green light never came ON but did Glow some. After 3 days I unplugged it, let it sit and the indicator when pushed lit the green light (OK).

3 days ago, battery dead again so I hooked it up, let it sit awhile and tried to start the car. turned over poorly a few times then nothing! I tried as long as I could and it went dead very fast, what there was of it.

Luckily, a neighbor came by and I got a jump from him. Drove around awhile and all was well.

I plugged the unit in to re-charge (push button showed nothing lit! red, amber, OR green)! Lit up red as normal and I thought nothing of it.

An hour later, I glanced over and it was GREEN (charged) again! Waaaay too fast.

So, I sent it back for refund. I don't trust it, it wouldn't do the job (it's only a 6 cylinder, not a Peter Built for the love of Mike)!

Any product with a special return sticker on them all OUGHT to tell you something!

I am going to spring for a commercial grade and be done with this nonsense...

Schumacher IPD-1800 Instant Power Jump-Starter with Docking Station

Schumacher IPD-1800 Instant Power Jump-Starter with Docking StationThe reasons that I bought this charger is because it has a docking stations which can be used to charge and store the unit when not in use. After the charging is completed, the docking station will enter a "floating charge" mode to prevent overcharging. Some other charger need to be monitored carefully since overcharging can damage the battery. With this unit, I can just leave it and forget it... Also, this unit is small enough that my wife can use it to jumpstart her minivan. Some other multifunction charger are so heavy, you'd have to be a weightlifter to carry the thing.

** UPDATE ** I originally wrote the glowing review below. This was a great product, while it lasted. Unfortunately, about 1 week after the 1-year warranty period ran out, the unit stopped accepting a charge. That is, I could not charge it either using the cradle or directly from the wall adapter. I called Schumacher and they could not offer me any help. A shame, but I can no longer recommend this device and I will be looking for a replacement.

UPDATE: I paid $88 for this when I purchased it in February, 2008. I see the price has increased, so I just wanted to note this difference so you take my comment about 'heck of a deal for the price' and 'comparison shopping' in the appropriate context. I am still very pleased with the unit but wanted to make clear that I am no longer completely certain that it's the best deal on the market. I have not recently done any comparison shopping to figure out if other units prices have changed.

Original review: Let me begin by saying that this is a sturdy, well-built piece of machinery. It also clearly can get the job done, period. My V6 Toyota Land Cruiser had a _completely_ flat battery, with a totally crudded-over positive terminal. I hooked this puppy up, and my engine ROARED back to life within 10 seconds of the connection being made. I haven't ever heard my engine start like that before, even when jumped from other jumper packs. Now, to comment on some other aspects of this equipment: It comes with a charging cradle, but you don't need to use it, because the AC adapter that plugs in to the cradle can also be plugged directly in to the jumper pack itself. So you can just stash the AC adapter in the car with the jumper pack, for mobile use. Also, this _can_ be used to power small appliances, but you'll need a cigarette-lighter adapter, because this doesn't have a regular outlet, only a cigarette-lighter outlet. Anyway, this is a heck of a deal for the price. I did a lot of comparison shopping to get the best value, and I'm very, very pleased.

Buy Schumacher IPD-1800 Instant Power Jump-Starter with Docking Station Now

I purchased this unit based on all the positive reviews, but unfortunately, I cannot say the same. I guess I must have received a defective unit. The main battery would not charge through the dock and the LED's on the dock were not in synch, as it showed full charge whether the main unit was attached or not, even before charging. The battery charged fine on its own and I concluded that either the dock itself or the battery contacts must be faulty. I could have done without the dock, but the idea of unprotected contacts being bare makes no sense. What made me decide to return it however was the unpleasant experience with Schumacher. After 3 days of calling, each time I was given the run around and they had no records of my issue (Like I was calling for the first time). Finally they decided I had to ship the entire unit (at my cost) so they can "test it". So much for customer service and warranty on a brand new unit out of the box. I decided to return it to Amazon and they paid for the return shipping. The 3 stars is a balance of 1-2 stars for the product, 0star for Schumacher, and 5+ stars for Amazon.

I am very impressed with this product as far as it's dependability and ease of use. I had a problem with a battery drain on my vehicle in which the battery would be dead every morning when I would go to start it. I used this product every day for a few weeks to jump off the car until we could find the source of the drain. It worked flawlessly every time I needed it. I had always been scared to jump start a battery, but with this product, it is so easy I didn't have any worries. I could even throw it in the trunk and take it with me when I thought I might need it.

I have had it about 6 months now and I love it! The peace of mind is well worth it!

Husky Liners Classic Style Custom Fit Molded Front Floor Liner for Select Subaru Legacy/Outback Mod

Husky Liners Classic Style Custom Fit Molded Front Floor Liner for Select Subaru Legacy/Outback ModelsMy stock subaru liners slip (most importantly on the drivers side). I was nonplussed by the expense of these liners, but my brother recommended them. Performance: very good, no slippage. Shape: pretty good cut. I didn't make any additional cuts, although if you want more rapid access to a subie gas cover release, you might need to. This plastic is hard and I expect the edges could lacerate skin, so some tape might be required to mitigate this possibility. I read a review for this product before (where did all of them go?) where someone complained about having to trim these 'custom' liners for the price. Yea, but they are really $30/each and made in the US. For the quality, I would expect small modifications to fit the idiosyncrasies of your vehichle.

These floor liners are top notch. They keep all the mud, dirt and snow from ruining your carpet and can handle any spills the kids can throw at them. I had these in my old Explorer and bought new ones when I bought my new truck. Very much worth the money!!

Garmin Nuvi 760 Battery Replacement Kit with Installation Video, Tools, and Extended Life Battery.

Garmin Nuvi 760 Battery Replacement Kit with Installation Video, Tools, and Extended Life Battery. #361-00019-11
  • Guaranteed for One Full Year
  • High Capacity 1250 mAh 3.7V Battery
  • Replaces Garmin Nuvi 760 Battery
  • Kit Includes How To Video Instructions on DVD and Tools
  • Warranty and Instructional Video Available Only With Kit Purchased from Innovate88

My Nuvi 760 really never worked quite right, even when new. After purchase, I noticed complaints online regarding the battery and its rather poor capacity. What concerned me most was that the battery pack would get VERY hot during charging (which Garmin considers normal) and then would only last fifteen minutes before low battery shut down. My GPS was not the subject of the recent Garmin battery recall, so that was not an option.

I wanted to update the maps because I really do like the GPS, so I had a decision to make: Trash it and get a new one, or attempt to replace the battery, test it and then update the maps if successful.

I went online to Amazon and found this kit for $20.00 or so and thought, well, I'll try it and if it doesn't work, I'm only out $20.00 and I saved the cost of a map update. I ordered the kit and received it in two days, which I consider quite fast.

I opened the kit and found the shim tool, two screwdrivers, a CD and the battery pack itself. I put the CD in my DVD player and watched the installation video. Then I got to work and opened the case. Everything went just like they said in the video. Screws came out, case opened, battery came out, replaced the battery, snapped the case back together and installed the screws. Really easy. But my experience may not be typical, as I used to work on aviation electronics, so my easy may not be your easy.....

I plugged it in and it has worked flawlessly ever since. It no longer gets hot while charging and goes at least five hours before low battery shutdown.

I am very happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to replace the battery in their Garmin Nuvi. It is very inexpensive, high quality, and you get to keep the tools. At least I think you do. No one has called asking for them back......

Even if you have never worked on electronics before, take a whack at it. Just be patient and follow the instructions. It's only $20.00 and you just might save your favorite GPS.

I was so distraught to have my Garmin GPS constantly going off due to a "low battery". It was relatively new to us, and loved it when we took road trips a few times a year. However when checking with Garmin, they said the battery could not be replaced and we needed to buy a new one. I felt this was ridiculous.

After some research I came upon this Battery Replacement Kit. I was a bit skeptical but after reading the reviews and knowing it had a Guarantee, I ordered the kit. It came very promptly and was installed in just a few minutes after watching the installation CD. As others had said, you do need some double sided tape to hold the battery in place. I had read that when I purchased, so I had some on hand. In replacing the battery, we did not lose any of the previously entered information, such as settings, locations, and favorite places.

I would highly recommend this purchase if your unit is failing. Now I have the tools, and if I need another battery in the future, I will order the battery alone, which is very inexpensive. Also, if you have friends with with a Garmin, you can loan them your tools and they can just order the battery.

Goal Zero 14101 Luna USB LED Stick Light

Goal Zero 14101 Luna USB LED Stick LightThe Luna Light is great low cost lighting system for any camper who wants a low current drain and effective camp light. It works extremely well with the Goal0 Guide 10 battery packs with the USB port. There is more than sufficient light for a tent or small camp space at a 20 hour operation time on the Guide 10.

There may be too much light output for people who want to save battery power. An attenuating adapter (homemade, insert a resistor inline) may just do the trick to reduce light output and save even more battery energy. Here is an idea to save your night vision adaptation, use a clear red soda straw (or similar, cellophane, etc.) over the light tube. Instant night vision retention for virtually no cost. You could also use a clear yellow soda straw to help keep the bugs away at night. Bugs love this white light at night and can actually block a lot of the light from the tube as they fight for position on the light tube. Use it in the tent only AFTER you have zipped the door shut or you may have a lot of unwelcome company :-)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AFTER THREE MONTHS USE:

I bought a second Luna Light shortly after testing the first one. I have put at least 50 hours of use on the first and maybe 20 hours on the second and all LEDs are still working just fine, no loss of light output. The Luna Light is very lightweight and weighs around 42 grams / 1.4 ounces and it takes virtually no room in a backpack.

The Luna Light when used in a backpacking / camping scenario lasted a 3 day / 2 night trip on the original Eneloop rechargeable batteries in a Goal0 Guide 10 powerpack (168 grams / 5.9 ounces w/ batt, 2000 mAh), awesome.

For the next trip purchased a lightweight (39 grams) IOGEAR 3+1 ports unpowered USB hub and a bunch of USB extension cables here on Amazon. The goal was to make a small USB power distribution network from the Guide 10 for the 2 Luna Lights and a Kaito 500 AM/FM/SW radio with USB. The two Luna Lights were sufficient to light the outside and inside of the tent for the night. I have taken them camping at least 5 times since purchase.

After 3 months of good use, I am still delighted with the product's versatility and performance. I have not noticed any deterioration in the mechanical parts of the light, although, these lights are treated very gently (flexing kept to a minimum). The Luna Lights worked well during a power outage, nice to have the extra light in an emergency, or maybe a better description: "an unexpected camping experience in the house."

I've used USB worm lights in the past and was never happy with the performance. It was a single LED that could only produce a barely usable light that only shined on a small area. Meet the Luna Light. It's a 10 LED USB light that actually throws a decent amount of light for a small area. I say small area because it's not a high performance flashlight like a Fenix or Surefire that produces a large amount of retina burning light. It's designed to used with the Goal0 11401 Guide 10 with 4 Goal Zero AA Batteries power pack or a laptop's USB port. When plugged into the Guide 10, it provides enough light for the inside of your tent, the arm of a recliner to shine on a book or any place else where you need light for the immediate area. When plugged in a laptop's USB port, it floods the keyboard with plenty of usable light, in fact, I'm using mine now to write this review. I have not experienced any poor connections as a previous reviewer has described. I've used computers and USB devices in the past where they were out of spec that the connections were to loose or to tight. Then again, the reviewer may have a lemon. Hey, no one is perfect. In conclusion, I'm very satisfied with the light and it works perfectly for it's intended use.

Buy Goal Zero 14101 Luna USB LED Stick Light Now

Ok, so I bought this to go along with my goal zero stuff. I bought it from Goal Zero expecting it to be built like a tank but unfortunately it is not quite like that. The usb end is cheap plastic and loose around the flexible shaft instead of sealed to the shaft like I would expect. The light itself is super lite weight overall I suppose it needs to be. All the weight is supported by the usb port it's being plugged into.

That being said, the light performs as I expected it too. Its very flexible and stays where you put it. It's pretty bright for such a small little guy.

We'll see how it holds up after a few months use.

Was looking for the perfect keyboard light, and the Goal Zero Luna USB LED Stick Light proved to be just that. The quality of light provided with this simple plug-in USB device was exceptionally good, and far better than this user initially expected from the product images and description.

Where this Goal Zero stick light stands apart from others if first in the actual quality of light provided when plugged into the USB port of a notebook computer. My MacBook Pro has an illuminated keyboard, which is perfect for night work. But my Window 7 PC notebook has a regular keyboard, and for late night work when one has tired eyes, it has proven to be the perfect answer. It's all black except for a small, tasteful Goal Zero logo, and it has an excellent 9" bendable neck that's sturdier than many that I've encountered.

Had purchased a Logiix USB 10 LED Red Light locally some months back, but found the red illumination to be more distracting than anything, especially when editing photos where correct color balance is so important, so it was put aside and later given to a friend.

Out of curiosity, I plugged the Luna USB LED Stick Light into the battery base of my Super Bright LED USB Laptop Light which holds 3-AA cells. It had a freshly charged set of Sanyo eneloop Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, so I plugged it in and just left it on. Ended up with the Stick Light still functioning after about 44 hours, and dimmed at 48 hours, so no complaints with this one at all.

This Goal Zero Luna USB LED Stick Light works like a charm when it's plugged into the StarTech 5ft Desktop USB Extension Cable A Male to A Female, and with that cord length it offers a very versatile work light at a computer desk. It has doubled up quite well as a decent reading light when plugged into any number of USB wall chargers. The quality of light is excellent, and the neutral color temperature makes it easy on the eyes. Highly recommended for overall versatility and quality.

I've used this light on several camping trips now and it works very well as a decent light. I've found that it would be nice to have a lower power option of perhaps half the lights on in cases where I wanted to leave it on all night as a night light for kids. Overall it works as designed which is nice but I have a couple of suggestions for improvements.

1. A switch so I can turn it off with out unplugging it. This is because when you need it in the dark you have to fumble around to get it plugged in.

2. A lower power option to only like half or less of the LEDs.

My USB connection is doing well, but it does put it's full weight on the connector so you need to not bump or pull it around once it's in your battery, especially if you use it in your computer as a night light for typing away (which it works great for).

4 stars for working well, a nice product. Not 5 since it could use a few adjustments.

Billet Optima Battery Hold Down Tray Bracket Plain

Billet Optima Battery Hold Down Tray Bracket PlainI have installed this product in my custom car and it looks right at home. It's very well made and functions very well to hold the battery in place, (mine is trunk mounted, bolted to the floor). It is machined very well with a brushed finish. The surface finish brush marks would be quite labor intensive to remove if you wanted to polish it. The Optima battery fits in it like a glove with all cut outs in the aluminum in the correct place.

There are several nice holders for the Optimas, but I think this one is the best of the bunch. Available in satin or polished, and very sturdy.

Battery Post and Terminal Cleaner

Battery Post and Terminal CleanerDoes what it was designed to do! My battery posts clean and clear of buildup. For the price its a good deal.

I've had several of these over the years lost some, loaned some (and never got them back) but mostly, when I tended to need them, they were at home in the big tool box.

Now I bought three one for each car's toolbox. Should I have a problem, or someone I'm parked near has a problem, I have the tool I need.

I've tried the plastic ones and they didn't hold up. Usually I busted them by putting something heavy on them, dropping them too many times or set them on a hot radiator and they melted. I've had metal ones get some rust spots but never had one break.

Buy Battery Post and Terminal Cleaner Now

This is great for cleaning the battery terminals for the car. Cheap and effective. If you pour baking soda on the terminals and then add some water it really cleans the corrosion off well (you can also use Coke to clean the terminals). Then after that you can use this device before reattaching the terminals.

NOCO D800 Blue Hammer Indent Crimping Tool

NOCO D800 Blue Hammer Indent Crimping ToolI have used various crimping tools for years, at the race track, on the road and at home. I fulltime in a Truck Camper now and space is a premium! For a long time I would use expansion joints in concrete curbs and sidewalks, when a crimping tool was not available. Now for crimping cables for solar and other power options, the NOCO D800 Blue Hammer Indent Crimping Tool is an excellent tool to have and use. I look at things for what they are and don't compare them to something they are not. If you are looking for something like a hydraulic crimper, get that, as it does not provide that clean look. I look for something that works, functional and a small and inexpensive investment is part of the decision. Great addition to my tool box! (Keep your hands away from the lifting lever, too!)

Crimping huge 1/0 wire as never been so easy. set the fitting in the tool and tap a few times with a hammer. Voila, solid crimp.

Works great, cheaper than pretty much any other style lug crimper and way easier to use than the hinged type that ancor marine produces( plus 1/4 the cost). the casting is a little poor and doesnt really hold up the pin the way its supposed to but its not really much of a deal breaker and has no impact on the quality of crimps it produces

PA-1500 - Nakamichi 1200 Watt RMS Mono Digital Bass 1 Ohm Amplifier with Remote

PA-1500 - Nakamichi 1200 Watt RMS Mono Digital Bass 1 Ohm Amplifier with Remote
  • Includes Wired Bass Remote
  • 1200 Watts RMS Power Output
  • Bass EQ Built In
  • Extremely Efficient Digital Design

I'm an audiophile who's been gradually upgrading my gear and after hearing my friends big kenwood amp (1150w rms 1 ohm) running a Kicker CVX 12 sealed I decided I wanted to catch him up. I was hoping it would at least match his amp and it certainly did and then some!

The sound of the bass from this amp is very different to alot of amps I've heard. It really runs well even with the bass boost basically off as it doesn't seem to need it. It reproduces lower frequencies very well while keeping the sub nicely in control for the more musical higher bass like a bass guitar. It makes a friend of mine's JBL P1224 sound like a higher class of subwoofer than it is, especially when comparing it to his pioneer 600w rms (1 ohm stable) amp on it :) Couldn't be happier.

If you want audiophile quality bass with true 1200w rms volume (really feels like it delivers it) then this amp has got to be a great choice. I don't know how it compares to amps from people like JL audio but it certainly smokes the mainstream brands. Oh, and the build quality certainly doesn't let it down either!

This Nakamichi amp won't let you down.

I just got this amp not long ago, finally have it wired and set up right. I am using it to push 3 10" old school JL Audio W6's wired to run at 1 ohm. This amp has plenty of CLEAN power. My system sounds great!!! A great buy for the price. I am probably going to order another for my other car, which will have two Sundown Audio SA-12's in a ported box wired to run 1 ohm, perfect for this amp. I beleive this will be a awesome combo.

Tripp Lite APS2448UL Inverter / Charger 2400W 48V DC to 120V AC 15A Hardwire UL rated

Tripp Lite APS2448UL Inverter / Charger 2400W 48V DC to 120V AC 15A Hardwire UL ratedI've had one of these inverters for at least 4 years, and am now buying another. I use it fairly hard, for a mobile power source for construction mainly. My first one is in for repair, as the extremely dusty location it was in finely took its toll. It worked great for power tools, except for my compressor which it wouldn't run properly (it would turn over, but really slowly). It does make a bit of noise on stereo's, as it is not a "true sine" inverter, so I wouldn't get this to run delicate electronics. The tiny on off switch and dip switches would be the main drawbacks to this inverter, in my eyes. Its a good product for its price range. (currently ~$650, it cost me ~$900 4+ years ago...)

The Tripp Lite Inverter/Charger unit is perfect for our All-Electric farm tractor as it increases the usability of the tractor substantially. The inverter is used year around cutting tree limbs, splitting logs, running water pumps and powering electric tools anywhere on the farm . We even use it to power a workshop running tools up to 3HP.

Thanks to Amazon for your excellent service and good price.Mini Farming: Self-Sufficiency on 1/4 Acre

I purchased the Tripp Lite APS2448UL as a heavy duty computer battery backup. Shortly after I made all the connections, I heard a small pop and saw a puff of smoke come up from the unit but saw no change in the operation of the unit. Of course I immediately call the Tripp Lite customer service department and told them what happened. The person on the phone was intent on trying to figure out the problem. They had me do a series of tests and when everything checked out ok, he gave me a incident number and told me to call if anything else happened. About 15 days later the unit stopped working and all my batteries were drained. I called back and they promptly send me a new unit. Had me return the old one to them in the box that the new one came in. They sent a pre-paid shipping label. This time, there was no popping sound but the unit again died in a few days and my batteries were drained. After spending a long time on the phone, trying to figure out what was going wrong, we finally discovered that the 2 sets of dip switches read from right to left instead of left to right. In other words, Block A is on the right and Block B is on the left. Also the dip switches themselves read from right to left. Switch 1 is on the far right and switch 4 is on the far left. After charging my batteries up with a separate charger and re-setting my dip switches, everything is working great now. I am convinced that the first unit that I had was ok, just had the switches set backwards. I don't know about the popping and smoke. My complaint is that the instruction manual should have been clear on the reverse order of the switches. On the other hand, the response from Tripp Lite tech support was top-notch.

Whether you need a backup power supply for a telephone switch, or are building an off grid solar power system the APS 2448 is a lot of product for the money.

Most importantly: It does what it says. Produces power from 48v of lead acid and charges them when you give it power. Smoothly.

Cons: The controls and dip switches are small. so are the display LEDs. The mounting forks are plastic, and you have to mount it horizontally (like its pictured), and not upright on its side.

I really like the part that you can adjust the sensitivity so the inverter only comes on when the refrigerator wants to start and doesn't have to be on all the time. Really saves on batteries. I bought mine to keep the furnace, refrigerator and freezers working during the power outages and so far it has worked very well for over a year. It is very easy to connect up and has been the best back up power inverter I have had to keep the appliances running. Being modified sine wave though, it doesn't work well on devices with CPU's and such like some phones, clock radios, cable boxes and DVD players so I have a nice small pure sine wave unit for them.

THIS GUY IS A SCAMMER. THE KEY HE SENT WAS ALREADY CUT AND PROGRAMMED FOR USE IN ANOTHER CAR (HIS OLD CAR OR HE STOLE IT PRESUMABLY)... DO NOT BUY IT. IT IS COMPLETELY USELESS.

It works only if you go to a dealer to program it, at my place the programming is asked $106 by the dealer. So at first I went to a locksmith, but...they cannot get it done, and they also destroy my old key!!! I have to tow my car to dealer...

Do not go to a locksmith, go to dealer directly although the price is high, but they know how to get it worked.
