I was sure that if I was lucky enough to receive the remote, that I wouldn't be able to program it. In preparation for this scenario, I called the dealer I got my car from; they wanted over 250 dollars for the remote and the programming. 250??!! I figured that I'm a fool for thinking I could get the remote for less than $25, and expect it to work. I read some of the online forums regarding issues arising in an attempt to program their own fobs; I was doomed for failure. I'm not a typically pessimistic person, but I just figured if it's too good to be true it probably is. BUT IT'S NOT!!!! I ordered my fob late one night, and decided I'd give it a few days before I check to see if it has shipped yet or not. 2 days later, I arrived home from work thinking "I wonder if it's even being processed yet...", checked my mail in the usual fashion and lo and behold, what do I see? A small yellow envelope with the first keyless remote I have ever owned in it. :) I bought a used fob, but you wouldn't know by looking at it. It was in wonderful condition; spotless even. So I pulled out the the paper the directed me to the programming "how to", told my boyfriend that I'd be out for about 30 minutes and not to panic if he hears a car alarm (which I wasn't even completely convinced by car was equipped with). I followed the instructions step by step, and CLICK, a lock in unison. "No way", I think, "must have been a fluke". So I shut the door again and pushed the lock...CLICK....and the unlock...CLICK. It worked!!!!! Like a charm as a matter of fact :) I was back into my house in less than 5 minutes. So.....just for fun....I figured I should probably test the PANIC feature. Success, all the way around. Fast, cheap, quality product. I'm very, very pleased with this transaction! Thank you!!!!

I bought this product for my 2005 Toyota Matrix. When I bought it, it did not have a keyless entry remote. I was hesitant to buy but decided to try this product out. I received the item in two days!! I purchased this unit to replace a KEC player in a conversion van with a 23" LCD HD TV. The KEC provided a very good picture but began to experience issues, playing only certain discs, freezing in mid play, etc.

The Plexon was easy to install, but that is the only attribute. It is a very noisy unit and takes excessive time to load a video. The picture quality was noticeably worse than the KEC while playing the same disc. It was incapable of even displaying its' own logo clearly on the screen while taking forever to load a video. The sound output is unacceptably low, to the point that both the DVD player and the TV had to be nearly maxed out just to be audible over normal conversation. Playing the same disc at the same levels on the KEC would be painfully deafening.

In short the Plexon is inadequate in every way. Thank you Amazon for having a good return policy and standing behind your sales, because this player is unacceptable. I removed it minutes after testing it!

Ok, I shopped around online for about a month looking for a dual amp wiring kit. While I am not a certified car audio installer, from my study and being a cable man I have learned about gauge quality, size, standards, and signal flow. With that aside I was confused as to rather or not I'd get a good quality zero gauge cable kit or if it would/wouldn't be AWG (American standard gauge or whatever.) So I searched out youtube videos of this Cadence Cable compared to others out there. After all the searching I settled on this Kit and I tell you what!!!! This cable is thick(0Guage.) They don't give you more isolation to make the cable LOOK-LIKE its bigger than it is. IT IS! And it has more than enough flex for running the cable around obstacles.

Oh, don't be fooled like I was by the picture. These distribution blocks are VERY WELL constructed as well. The only thing I'd think is not right is that I was assuming by what I have researched that a zero gauge wire should be fused with more than 150A fuse more like 250A or 300A...but as I said I'm no expert.

All in all if you are on a budget, have a 3000 watt< system, and want to get it right the first time, don't worry so much about AWG and those $100,$200+ BIG NAME kits and get this one or the $89 kit that has a digital volt display and gold plated connections. Good luck on your install (make'em roll there windows up lol)

These are true gauge sizes... Actually, the 1/0 is a little bigger than spec. Only issue with the kit is the distrbution block for the ground (1 into 4) is of no use to this kit as the terminals are 4 & 8 awg. Not a big deal. Non fused distribution blocks are a dime a dozen. Even with this small issue I would rate this product 6 ★ if I could. It's a little pricey but worth every penny... And still cheap considering the power wire alone would cost more than this kit from a dealer. This kit will definately power your 5000 w and under system.

On a side note, I would also recommend using a different remote wire as this one is very slight and could easily break. Still 100 percent satisfied.

1. You ARE getting the advertised wire gauges.

2. The 0ga power and ground wires are copper clad aluminum.

The distribution blocks and fuse blocks included with the kit are very high quality, as is the battery terminal.

This is a great quality switch for battery disconnection. My son has an older BMW 735i that is plagued with parasitic draw on the battery. The battery would go dead if the car wasn't driven for several days. After months of troubleshooting I came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to be able to repair the problems without a dealer's service intervention. There was no way I was going to pay the more for service than the car was worth so I began looking for an alternative solution. This is it. I mounted this switch directly below the rear passenger seat and ran the negative cable off of the battery terminal to this switch and then back to ground. My son turns the switch on when he gets in the car and off before he gets out. No battery problems for about 3 weeks now. It is almost undetectable unless you are looking for it. I wouldn't do this in a newer vehicle because it would cause computer issues with engine management and such but in an older vehicle this works perfectly. One last thing, I was worried about it getting warm because of the current going through it but that doesn't happen. Great product!

Belkin 300w DC/AC Inverter

We bought this item so that we could use our laptop in the car and also to be able to plug in more items in our RV. I like that it has two outlets.

Some people have said it was "loud" but I didn't understand that at all. Yes, there is a quiet "whirring" sound from the fan, but if you're driving down a highway or have the radio on low, you'd never hear the fan.

I think it was a good purchase. Worth the money and I'd recommend it to a friend.

This Belkin inverter is much louder than the 140 watt inverter (which is difficult to hear at all). You can easily drowned out the noise with your radio but the pitch was a little too high for me.

The 300 watt unit is only a little bigger with a second outlet than the 140 watt inverter. It comes with an automotive type fuse (30 amp) which does seem to be very useful if your car lighter fuse is 10 or 15 amp.

I have had this unit for over a year and am very pleased. I use it for my laptop and Direct TV while we travel. I must be getting deaf because I do not notice any loud noise. You have to darn near have your ear close to it just to hear the fan running. This inverter has not given me any problems what so ever. I would have to guess that I have between 250 and 300 hours on this unit using both receptacles at the same time. I like it.

Worked great for me on a recent trip to Florida. Only used one of the two outlets to recharge my laptop computer battery. This spotlight is a point object spotlight. Meaning it has a very narrow focused beam that travels a long distance. It is not good for illuminating a large area like a wide beam flashlight will do.

I bought this spotlight a little over a year ago. I was very satisfied with the long throw capabilities and has been very useful. However, a few weeks ago, when the light was switched on, it would only stay on for about one minute, go out, and start beeping rapidly. The red light on the back flashed rapidly too. It does this on a full charge. When charging, it appears to charge normally, but will not stay on. The short lifespan is very disappointing and there does not appear to be a way to replace the battery.

I think the build quality is good. One reviewer stated that it takes two hands to turn the light on and off, I disagree with this statement. I can easily turn the light on and off using one hand. The multicolored LED and the audible alarmnare both very useful features. My only complaint is the fact that the 12 volt power cord was not included. Really? How much could that cost a dollar? Luckily, the cord from my old spotlight fits. I wanted this unit for my boat and the waterproof feature is awesome.

I am a retired police officer . . we LOVE light sources and are constantly assessing them. We prefer an intense light that has great distance as opposed to one that throws out a weak, lateral flood light (just move the spot around, and besides, you'll have about a 30 foot diameter of lateral light in front of you) . . plus that intense spot. This is the most effective, powerful and intense hand held, portable light source I have EVER held and used. . . it is comparable to the spot lights mounted on our police vehicles . . I just got this yesterday, 10/21/11, and I must say I'm pretty darn impressed for just $12.95. It is not awesome, still a bit of static. My tuner is set at the lowest frequency of 87.7 I believe, and it sounds pretty sharp. Give it a try. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong!

Husky Liners Custom Fit Heavy Duty Front Floor Mat (Tan)

I was searching for CUSTOM FIT floor mats and this product came up. It is NOT a custom mat. We were purchasing for a 2008 Honda Odyssey with tan interior. Although the mats would fit in the car, they do not fit like the factory mats that came with the car and the tan color is not even close to matching any of the interior of the vehicle.

The floor mats themselves appear to be good quality, and if you are looking for rugged floor mats and do not care about them being a perfect fit/color, then I would recommend these mats, but I would probably suggest buying the black ones rather than the tan.

But if you are looking for a custom mat that matches your vehicle like the factory mats, then you will be disappointed with these.

Also to note, these mats are two individual mats that fit in front of the driver's and passenger's front seat. They do not cover the front of the vehicle the way the factory mat does, and would probably require some trimming for an ideal fit.

THE MATS SEEM VERY DURABLE. I WAS EXPECTING THE FIT TO BE BETTER. SEEMS LIKE THEY NEED TO BE TRIMMED TO FIT. IT WAS A GOOD PURCHASE.

Bought this item June 19th 2012. Unit worked fine, as advertised for 1 week. Then it started giving a "Device not found" error. Called USA Spec, I was told that sometimes an overflow of data occurs, just needs to be unplugged so it resets. Did that a few times until it finally started to work again. After a few days, the same problem. Reset it again, worked fine for a few more days.

This time, while I was in the process of unplugging and plugging, it started to work. I discovered that the black plug going to the back of the radio was intermittent.

I got on the phone with USA Spec, VICTOR asked me all kind of questions about the failure and for the invoice of the product. I quickly emailed it to him while we were on the telephone. After he reviewed it he said that I had to pay $20.00 for the harness/cable, that I did not pay full retail value for the product and therefore it had no warranty.

This is the first time that I hear this. Furthermore, he said that the company that sold me the adaptor is not a distributor of their products. Like I am supposed to know. I purchased from AUDIOSAVINGS through AMAZON, no problems whatsoever with them, they shipped the item promptly.

This could not be easier to install. Once I got my Dash open,(The only challenging part.) It just clicked right in and was working right away. Sound is great and there are so many control options, you cant go wrong. My only gripe is you cant put your entire ipod on shuffle without putting it on direct play mode, and you cant see song info in this mode. Kind of a bummer.

I installed the unit into my 2008 F150 and it took me about 10 minutes. The hardest part was putting the trim back around the radio (pushing the tabs properly to lock them in). Otherwise it would have taken 5 minutes.

I was using my iPod plugged into the line-in above the stereo, but it sounded pretty bad. The first time I played a song through this unit, it almost brought tears to my eyes. The sound quality is superb for MP3/AAC.

I was dissapointed at first that you can't select genres from the iPod (I knew this when I bought it), but I figured I would give a shot at making a play list for each genre and just pop all the respective songs into those. This solution worked perfectly. Now I have my playlists each named with a number in front (1-, 2-, 3-, etc) with 1 being mine, and 2 being my wifes, and the rest are each genre.

This unit fits the bill perfectly, keeping the factory radio in place and allowing me to dump all my songs into one play list and then turn on random play and enjoy.

Only one complaint...it seems to react slowly accessing the info from the radio when you are searching through lists, such as artists or albums. This may be the radio, the unit, or the interaction between the radio/unit/ipod. It's not enough to take away a star.

NPower Powerpack Emergency Power Source with Air Compressor - 500 Amps, 400 Watts

I've owned this unit now for about 3months & very happy in making purchase. First off, the power generator is absolutely quiet, unlike other powerpackswhich makes machine drilling noises. Second, the usb power source is very useful when needing charging of USB accessories. Now the few complaints are, Laptop computers are not recommended for charging. Laptops in general, draw a lot of recharging power40minutes of charging will literaly drain a fully charged powerpack source. Lastly the air inflator is not that good, even for an average, may take a while to inflate those tires. Jumpster works perfectly & recharing is done effortless.

I have bought three of these gems. The first was bought as a gift, when I got to examine it I had to have one for myself. They have gotten me out of several jams already, flat or low tires, dead or low batteries, have even used them to operate power windows after the door switch failed. I keep one in each of my trucks and don't go anywhere without one with me. The powerpack is well made and designed, they make appreciated gifts. All of mine were shipped from Northern Tool through Amazon. You have to recharge the unit every 3 months or so as the charge will run down.

Seems to be identical to the Cobra brand unit. Blue plastic instead of yellow and at a higher price. Worth considering which one to purchase.

I went and bought this powerpack for my father, seeing as though it would be a reliable product.( my sister's car would occasionally need a jump start along with the compressor and usb charger) we bought it in July, only fully charged it once. It was still nearly full but then Hurricane Sandy starts up. We use up all the battery for powering whatever was crucial. Here's the kicker, tried to charge it again once power was restored. left it plugged in for about 6 hours. still reading empty. We went over to the ac adapter. it's uncomfortably warm to the touch and that's never good. tried another couple of hours, still nothing. Extremely dissapointed.

I originally purchased this for camping and emergency power. While I haven't used it for an emergency yet, I have used it for a weekend camping trip. We were able to charge our cell phones, and laptop (to watch some movies at night), and recently used it to jump start my 4 wheeler. Very well made, the battery is a little small but much bigger would have made it to bulky and heavy to move around. All in all I would recommend this booster/generator to anyone who requires a portable power source simply excellent when camping.

I also wanted to mention that the battery is easily replaced in this unit.

I have this DVR for 4 days.

The video quality is not that bad at this price. Please see my videos.

I use the following setting: SxGA(HD), 2 minutes file length, Transcend 8GB SDHC card (class 6). There are 6 seconds gap between the files. Something will happen in 6 seconds that you may miss.

37 files X 2 min = 74 min; 7 GB memory used.

The day time video is shaking a lot because my wife held it due to the suction cup could not stick on the windshield more than 15 seconds. I though it maybe the windshield too cold (36 degree F) so I tried it on the dress mirror at home with different methods clean both side, moisture the cup with water, with alcohol. It always falls down in 15 seconds.

I took out my Gamin GPS suction cup and tie the DVR on it with rubber band. Gamin suction cup sticks on the windshield like glued on it even in the evening with colder weather and raining time.

I took the night video with the same setting as the day video. You only can see the license plate number that at font of you with HIGH mount on a van or SUV. The license plate on a sedan car will reflect the lights that from your car low beam.

I also took a night video in a clear night with / without the head-light on.

The raining night video shows local and high way.

I can hear the conversation with a little background noise on the playback records.

Once, the DVR suddenly stopped record without any reason while I was driving (cigar lighter power code was connected).

DVR was frozen twice in the last day. I had to take out battery to turn it off.

I decide to return this item and order another. It took a while for me to pull out the SD card.

I received a new one on 12/23/2011 and use it every day without any problem.

I set the record time to 10 min the longest record time, and the gap between the 2 files is 10 seconds. I tried both class 6 and class 10 SDHC cards and got same 10 seconds gap. I have to set it back to 2 min with 6 seconds gap. Lost 6 seconds record is better than lost 10 seconds record.

The video quality is better than the video I posted on Amazon. Because after I cut and combined the footages, it lost the quality during the save time. I will re-post the original video late.

The temperature drop to 28 F last night and this morning the DVR completely die because my wife forgot to bring it home and left it in the car which parked outside. I took it in home and let it seat for few hours to warm up and recharged the battery, but the DVR still could not be turned on. Lucky it still in 30 day return period and I always save the package until 30 day return period past.

Now I use $60 Kodak EasyShare Touch M577 14 MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom and 3-Inch LCD Touchscreen Black with NAVGEAR Universal Dash Mountas the DVR. The Kodak M577 has 14 megapixels and 5X wide-angle optical zoom, and it easy to record videos in HD (only allow to record 29 min in HD, after 29 min it automatically stop record, you have to press the record button again to start another 29 min record) the battery only last for 80 min, but it enough for 20 min commute each way. The bad is that it cannot record while charging.

I have been using my F198 for a few days now [aug 15, 2011]...

In VGA mode it takes a decent picture. This mode is good enough to see stop lights & the cars in the field of view. The wide angle lense provides a very good picture of what is going on, but there is some loss of clarity. You can read the licence plate of cars stoped directly in front of you, and with some time you might pick up a letter/number at a time for moving cars. It is much like a cell phone cam & shows cars pulling in your lane, or crossing the light well.

I set the motion detect mode on. At first it was not active at the time I started recording, but then I stopped the car powering the F198 down & when I powered back up, it was in motion detect mode. The mode is not sensitive enough & is not acceptable for use when driving, so I advise leaving motion detect mode off.

At VGA resolution, it could record three 15 minute clips on 2 Gb. Then it deletes the oldest file when creating a new file. This process takes 2-3 seconds.

The F198 has a car-off detection & will stop recording when the car is off. This requires a switched circuit. The F198 detects loss of power & properly closes the active file using the battery before powering down. When the power input comes back, the F198 automatically resumes recording. If your cigar lighter is not switched... this feature will not work.

The menu is a bit difficult, so read the directions. The IR led mode works well from about 3-4 feet. similar to filming with a flashlight. You do not want to use IR mode for night driving because you will be recording the windsheid reflection... use standard mode.

The mount did not have a swivel end on it, so you end up extending it more than desired to get the correct angle. A better mount willl lower the profile of the camera in the window.

The LCD screen does not switch off when closed. This would be nice, but my battery did not go dead when recording over night.

I believe I got about what I expected because I first looked the camera up on the internet google/yahoo & also saw a video on you-tube. It is useful & of reasonable quality for the very low price.

Updated Aug 1, 2012: This camera has been working non-stop 24 hrs in my car for almost 1 year. The swevil at the camera connection is a bit loose & can't be tightened, so occasionally the camera may get turned if I drive too rough.

Using this item for 2 weeks. It creates new files any 2, 5 or 15 minutes of recording (you can choose). It has 3 quality modes (VGA, DL, SxGA(HD)). Tried sxga, but the fps amount is not enough and the picture is intermittent, not comfortable to watch.

VGA has too low resolution but movement is smooth. The best choice for me became DL mode.

Picture quality is not impressive. You can recognize the licence plate number of the cars only near you. And it's almost impossible to do in the night on moving cars. Night vision is pretty good, but the headlights of oncoming cars create large white holes on the picture. The same with the stop lights of the cars in front of you.

Plastic is very low quality, but I didn't expect more for this price.

The dashboard mount works perfect, you just have to make the surface wet a little, and it will hold like with glue.

Not bad device but I'd like it to have better picture quality.

I have been using this camera every single day, every time I drive, for about 2 months now. The picture quality is nothing special. Its pretty much like watching a video on TV recorded by a police car. There isn't much detail but it does catch whatever happens in front of the car.

The battery does not hold a charge for more than a few minutes so the camera has to be plugged into the 12V at all times. Also the connection between the 12V cable and the camera is pretty loose so sometimes the cable falls out of the camera when going over bumps. Taping the cable to the camera helps.

I use a 32GB memory card so it can record about 9-10 hours. What I like about the camera is that the LCD does not have to be opened all the time. The camera records with the LCD closed. Also, to start recording, all I have to do it hold the power button for about 3 seconds to hear a chirp sound and the camera starts recording automatically. It records in 2/5/15 minute intervals and afterwards it records over the old videos.

Overall I think that this camera is pretty ok. Its cheap but after all you get what you pay for.

***3 Month UPDATE: So it has been 3 months now since I'v been using this camera pretty much every single day. It still works just like the first day when I used it. There are normal signs of wear and tear but nothing serious.

One flaw I forgot to mention the first time when I wrote this review is that the date and time on the camera doesn't save. Because the battery doesn't hold a charge for very long, it resets the time and date. I would assume that if the camera was connected to the 12V 24/7, then maybe the time and date would not reset.

Anyways, I'm actually thinking about getting another one of these cameras for my other car. I just saw a scam attempt video online of how a car backed up into another car on the highway to do a scam. If the second car didn't have a dash cam, he'd be in trouble.

***4 Month UPDATE: I ended up buying a second camera for my weekend car. Although the new camera was supposed to be the same, its actually a bit different... better than the first one I got. When I bought my first camera 4 months ago, the camera was sent from California whereas the new camera was sent from Shanghai (Amazon seller BestDeal777). It seems like I received an updated model because the software looks newer and the power connection is different.

With my old camera, the 12V power connection was round, similar to a headphone jack and easily fell out. The connection in the new camera is USB (mini-B), works great and doesn't fall out. As far as the software in the new camera, the camera turns on a lot quicker and there is no "Welcome" screen. When the camera is turned off but connected to power, it shows a "full battery" icon or "charging battery" icon on the screen. The recording modes are in 2/5/10 minute increments. I use a Transcend 16GB Class 10 SDHC Card (TS16GSDHC10) with the camera and there is absolutely zero time loss between videos. In the video mode section, there are 3 options. One is "720p HD" the other "480" and the third is even smaller... I don't remember. The one that I use is 720p and it records in wide screen mode. On my 16GB SD card, I am able to get about 3.5 hours of video. Although it says 720p HD, it is not HD but whatever.

One thing I don't like is that with the old camera when I turn it on, it automatically starts recording and while recording, the indicator light flashes. In the new camera, it does not automatically start recording and the indicator light does not flash while recording. So in order for me to know for sure if it is recording, I have to open the screen. Not a huge flaw but a bit annoying.

***1 Year UPDATE

Both cameras still work however with some issues. On the first camera, the 12V cable fuse blew after about 8 months and I had to get a new cable. I ended up buying this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004ZL5ARI/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00. Although it is for Sirus Radio, the connection and power output are almost identical and have no issues with it. The second problem, still with the 1st camera is that the power connection inside the camera is really lose now it barely gets any power most of the time... not many options with this unfortunately. My weekend car camera has zero issues. It ended up falling to the floor about 5 times so far because the suction cup didn't hold well but thankful the camera still works.

Few tips:

+Use 2 minute clips, not 5/10/15 min clips-the shorter the easier and faster they will transfer to PC

+When the memory card is full, Format it! this way you will not have any gaps in between clips. When the card is full, the camera will stop recording in order to erase old clips. This can take several seconds or a minute+.

+Use the lowest resolution. I tried all 3 and there is no difference in playback quality. The main difference is that you'll be able to record 9.5 hrs vs. 3.5 hrs.

+DO NOT leave the camera plugged into the 12V for a week or 2 without driving the car. It WILL drain your car battery.

+Get the camera from overseas (Chine, Hong Kong, etc). It might be a newer model with a better connection and software.

I bought this as a way of protecting myself in my cab. I have the camera pointed inwards so I can see my passengers, and if needs be (which I hope never happens) identify a run-out or worse, a robber. The picture quality is pretty good, for the price. The night vision feature is decent. The audio completely sucks, sound is really garbled can't understand anything hardly being said, which means I won't be producing my own "Taxi cab Confessions". All in all, the purpose I bought it for, it works well enough.
