Peak PKC0AQ 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Inflator/Inverter

Peak PKC0AQ 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Inflator/InverterPurchased the PKC0AQ approx 6 months ago figuring I might need it in case of an emergency, or perhaps if a coworker was in a jam. Nothing worse than getting stuck at work in the middle of winter. Fully charged the charger and kept at 100%, always wondering when the moment would arise where the Peak charger would save the day. Well, as luck would have it, my 5 year old left the van lights on overnight and "killed" the battery. Grabbed my handy-dandy Peak jump starter, hooked it up... and got 2 slow turn-overs. Period. Tried a few more times w/ power ~ 100%, same thing. Left the unit attached to see if serving as a charger would do the trick, still didn't work. Bottom line is: this unit will leave you stranded when you really need it. I'm just glad I found out in my driveway rather than in a parking garage, in the cold, at the end of a long work day.

Very cheap looking. The pressure gage for the air works sometimes, and there are times when the pressure goes over one-hundred when I start putting air on a tire. The jump starter works pretty good. The quality of this item definitely looks very cheap.

It arrived on time. On of the nice thingsis it is lighter than others that I shopped for. The light works well. It can be charged by either an extension cord or a car lighter. It dos not come with charging cords but standard cords will work I tried to run a CPAP machine using it and it only lasted a few hours. Antoher one at 300 amp lasted two entire nights. I am returning because i need something that will get me through at least one full night. 6-7 hrs.

For having a handy all-in-one device, I don't think it can be beat.

I have used all the features on the device and it functions just as expected.

Although the air gauge is not accurate, almost none of the gauges built into pumps are. I have no complaints.

KHOMO Pink Color MINI USB Car Power Adapter Charger + USB SYNC Cord Cable for Apple iPhone 4G 4S iP

KHOMO Pink Color MINI USB Car Power Adapter Charger + USB SYNC Cord Cable for Apple iPhone 4G 4S iPod Nano iPod Touch
  • Compatible with ALL iPhone models, All iPod models & All iPad models
  • Nice Hot Pink Color.
  • Miniature size.
  • Includes a 3ft Hot Pink Color USB Cable.
  • Brand: KHOMO Accessories.

This is my second time buying a USB cord from KHOMO & I've come to the conclusion that their products are only meant to work for a few weeks. Although the USB cord stopped working, the car adapter charger still works! It's really cute & small, it even lights up when it's plugged in. It isn't the color portrayed in the picture though, it's more of a fuchsia. The only reason why this product got 4 stars is because of the car adapter, would've gotten 5 if the USB cord wasn't included.

I ordered the pink car charger and it doesn't work. My iPhone says it's charging, but it isn't really charging. I have tried to charge it several times, but I always have to end up using my old car charger instead.

I've never written a feedback comment before but seeing how disappointing this product was, I felt obligated to do so, so other customers can be warned about this product. This product is cute and pink, BUT after a minute of charging my iphone 4 it'll stop charging then charges then stop charging then it'll charge, making that charging noise repetitively. It was quite annoying. The quality is worth the price you paid for.

This plug and cable will not charge the iPhone 4. A message comes on the screen which says that it's an unsupported accessory. I think the message might have ended with "you cheap skate", but I may just be misremembering.

I like to listen to podcasts while I drive around. This shockingly pink version was a bit cheaper than the other colors, so I ordered it anyway. I love the fact that I can drive around and listen to my podcasts while my iPod Touch battery actually GAINS a charge. Now I don't have to remember every night to plug in my iPod Touch so its battery won't die on me during the day. This product works well. It has a bright red LED on the plug that you slide in to your cigarette lighter, which means the LED stays lit even when the car is off and the key is removed. (You don't have to worry about this because the LED takes such a tiny amount of power that it won't wear down your car battery at all.) The plug is just the right length to slide all the way in to the cigarette lighter socket so I can still unplug the cord and shut the ash tray. Since the plug has a standard USB adapter on it, presumably you could plug any USB device into it, so you could charge or power other USB devices, as long as they don't draw too much power (probably not a good idea to plug in that USB coffee mug warmer you got for Christmas) but pocket cameras and cell phones with USB cables should probably be okay.

Miccus BluBridge Auto-Talk, Solar-Powered, Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit for Bluetooth Capable Phones

Miccus BluBridge Auto-Talk, Solar-Powered, Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit for Bluetooth Capable PhonesFirst things first: this is a very smartly designed product, but I had to return it. Here is the full story:

Pros:

Never really needs charging: Charges itself using the sun, even on cloudy days. In the 3 weeks I tried this speakerphone, I never had to manually recharge it after the first day. The solar charging makes it a truly wireless device!

Very easy to use: It synced quickly with my smartphone and the text-to-speech of the phonebook was pretty good. Basically it announces the name of the caller as written in your phonebook. There is a big easy-to-reach button to make and end calls.

Cons:

Low Volume: At maximum level the speaker volume is just sufficient for speeds up to 45 mph. My driving is mostly on highway (65 mph), where it becomes extremely hard to hear the other party on the speaker over the road noise. In the same car, Bluetooth headsets worked perfectly fine for me at these speeds.

So how much ever I liked this speakerphone for its solar charging and ease of use, the volume just wasn't enough for me, hence the return.

I've never been a fan of DWP (Driving While Phoning), whether it's me or the other guy. Let's face it, it's distracting. No matter how many times I hear people insist they can handle it, most of the time I'm stuck behind or cut off by someone, it turns out that person has a phone stuck to their ear.

But now that everyone and their granny has a cell phone, mobile yammering is here to stay, and any attempts to legislate or regulate it will be roughly as successful as putting toothpaste back in the tube. The best we can hope for is to mitigate the distraction factor a bit by getting everyone to use some type of hands-free device.

But hands-free stuff is a hassle. Wired headsets get tangled, lost, broken or subjected to the "I'm just in the car for a few minutes" cop-out. And BlueTooth headsets are quickly becoming the pocket protectors of the 21st century a fashion accessory only geeks want to wear.

The best solution, hands down, is BlueTooth integrated into your car. It's literally a no-brainer get in the car, your BT-enabled phone and the car silently shake hands and get to work. Get out of the car, your phone's back on its own. Ever since getting a car with BlueTooth a few months ago, I can't imagine being without it. Unfortunately, I have to do more than imagine, because I'm often relegated to driving my wife's car, a primitive 2008 model without BT.

But the folks at Miccus have come up with an exceptionally cool, gotta-have-it device called the BluBridge Auto-Talk that makes any car a BT-equipped ride. It's about the size of a closed flip phone, and is one of those little pieces of tech that was obviously designed by people who were paying attention to detail.

The first two rules for any device designed for use while driving should be simplicity and non-distracting. The BluBridge comes with a clear plastic cradle that sticks to the windshield with suction cups, placing it easily within reach. The basic functions of answering and making a call can be handled via a single Big Button that's easy to push without taking your eyes off the road. Bravo. And the sound is far better than I expected from such a miniscule device.

It's got a whole bunch of more intricate features too, including multilingual text-to-speech announcement ("call from two-one-two......"), voice dialing capability (if your phone supports it), and it'll even download your phone's contact list. Set these functions up once, and after that you only need the Big Button.

For me, my number one challenge with in-car devices is remembering to keep them charged. My number two challenge is keeping all those charger wires out of the way. The Miccus folks thought of that too. The back side of the BluBridge is outfitted with a small solar panel. So while it's sitting there stuck to your windshield, it's sucking up the sun and staying charged. Clever. And with a talk time of 800+ hours, even the most overcast environment should keep it charged.

The BluBridge is hands down one of the coolest and most cleverly designed gadgets I've gotten my hands on this year. It's my number one choice for stocking stuffer this holiday season. If more people got one for Christmas, the roads would be a whole lot safer.

I bought this product for my Mazda MPV (2001). It is a much needed add on to my car. The charger is a mini USB port so I had some trouble finding longer wires but soon realized I don't even need it. The product itself works great! This has taken me from Michigan to New York without any problems. The fact that I don't have to charge it is a big add on. The giant phone button does almost all necessary work and the text-to-speech synthesizer is acceptable.

This item is an excellent improvement over other hand free device offerings of this type. The unit is easy to set up and pair with your phone, and the solar charging is a great addition to this item.

However, I would have issued a 5 star rating if the unit did ALL of the functions as advertised, and it does not.

The manual states that you can basically upload the entire text phone book from your cell phone. This way when you get a call, the speaker will announce the call in the text manner as if in your phone. For example, if you have a friend Dave, and you have him in your cell phone's phone book as "Dave Cell Phone", when he calls, the AutoTalk should announce "Dave Cell Phone". Great feature, right? Mine doesn't work.

I followed the directions three times, and every time the phone book would NOT upload from my cell phone onto the Auto Talk. I e-mailed tech support, they answered once telling me what the phone SHOULD do, and I answered telling them what it IS NOT DOING, and haven't heard from them since.

Overall this is a great product that apparently needs to work out some glitches.

When that is done, and when their tech support actually SUPPORTS the item, this will be a five star product..

I have tried several hands free devices. Motorola, Parrot and others. This is by far the best that I have used. Unless you have a new car or a car like my Smart with a Pioneer system in it, this is the best (ADD TO OLDER CAR)

hands free device that I have found. I did have a slight problem. I found that you MUST charge the device before

trying to sync it to your phone. But even after it was fully charged it did not want to stay on. I would push the button, it would come on and immediately say power off and turn off. I went to the Miccus web site and under support found that other people must of had the same problem. I finally managed to get the device to stay on and

had no problem syncing the phone. I also loaded my phone book into the device. It will now announce a person calling by how you have them in the phone. For example when my wife calls me from her cell phone it says (Mary Cell calling). I also like the fact that when you turn it on several seconds later it says (Ready to accept calls) which tells me it is working. My other hands free devices would just turn on and you never knew if they actually connected unless you would look at the blue tooth in the phone settings. I am very happy with the Miccus BlueBridge

Auto-talk. This is the second one that I have bought. I also plan to buy a additional one for my wife for Valentine's Day

BatteryMINDer Charger/Maintainer/Desulfater - 12V, Model# 2012

BatteryMINDer Charger/Maintainer/Desulfater - 12V, Model# 2012I have a Corvette and live in snow country. That means putting the car away for the winter. Fortunately, I have a place to store the car. The down side is it isn't heated. Batteries will freeze if they are allowed to discharge. To prevent that, I need to either drive the Corvette regularly, bring the battery inside, or put it on a charger.

I started my career in electronics designing battery charging systems for hand held devices. I found that the "Ideal" charger is complicated: different features are needed to quickly charge a battery versus maintain it over the winter. Until recently, you needed a different charger for quick recovery versus long term storage. While not the end-all product, this charger is a great, full featured device that incorporates more of the ideal charger features.

Battery chargers come in many types: Bulk Chargers, trickle chargers, and smart chargers like BatteryMINDer.

Bulk chargers are designed to quickly recover from a "dead" battery. They tend to have little sophistication, just pouring out lots of energy quickly. This is fine for bringing up a partially discharged battery and getting the car started quickly. But such brutes may overcharge the battery if left on for extended periods. And, they may not have temperature compensation. The bottom line, they may ruin a battery if left connected for extended periods like the four months I need to store my car.

Trickle chargers try to tackle the storage problem. Prior generations of these chargers just used a low-current charger with a maximum voltage output. These "weak" chargers simply don't have the power to quickly recharge a battery, but are reasonable at keeping one "full" under some conditions. They are cheap and somewhat effective.

Neither of these "Dumb" chargers deal with significant details of maintaining a battery's charge. The voltage of a fully charged battery varies with temperature about 12.5mv per degree. That doesn't sound like much, but over the 100 degree temperature variation that is possible with the car in storage, this is 1.25 volts a significant voltage difference. If the charger's set point is too low, the battery will discharge; if too high, the battery will get too much energy and will over-heat. Such heat kills batteries by boiling off the water in the battery fluid.

Battery manufactures publish the "ideal" charge profiles for their products. Here is a typical charge profile: [ Google "lead acid battery charge profile"] This charging profile has four phases: bulk charge, absorption charge, float charge, and testing.

The "Smart Chargers" such as BatteryMINDer, solve these problem with with a micro-controller. They sense the state of charge in the battery, the outside temperature, and adjust charging accordingly. The BatteryMINDer provides all of the charge phases listed above, and adds two more: a Qualification phase and a desulfidization phase.

Qualification / Soft Start Phase this is to test for a very dead battery The charger is current limited, in this case to just 1/2 Amp. It uses this phase to check for reversed connection of the battery leads, damaged batteries, etc. For a salvagable battery, this phase slowly brings the battery up to a voltage level where it can be charged more quickly without generating excessive, damaging heat.

Bulk Charge/Fast Charge Here the unit puts out maximum current. The BatteryMINDer puts out 2A. This is far less than typical Bulk Chargers (up to 25 A), but will recharge a typical car battery in about 12 hours. This slower rate makes this charger a poor choice for the quick-fix where you find that you had left your lights on overnight and are late for work. Massive bulk chargers are a better choice here, but are more stressful on the battery.

Float Charge This mode is where the magic happens in these smart chargers. The Float Mode provides a temperature compensated trickle charge to the battery. It senses the ambient air temperature or with a low cost accessory the temperature at the battery to adjust the trickle voltage and current to the environment. Unlike simple trickle chargers, this mode pulses current on/off to achieve a complete charge. The tender stays in this mode for about 15-60 minutes, depending upon the brand.

Battery Test This mode turns off the charge entirely for a few minutes and then looks at the voltage over time. It is natural for the voltage to drop slightly. Excessively rapid drops indicate internal issues with the battery. The BatteryMINDer provides an LED indication for a damaged battery. For a normal battery, the rate of voltage drop is fed back into the Float Charge mode to adjust the on/off time of the current pulse to assure that the battery gets only the charge it needs.

The combination of temperature controlled float and battery testing makes this the perfect system for long term storage.

I ended up buying a cigarette adapter for the system about $6 more. This saves me the hassle of popping the hood. I just plug the adapter into the cigarette lighter adapter and plug in the BatteryMINDer. (Note: This only works on cars where the accessory/lighter socket is ON when the car is off. GM cars work this way).

I have reviewed the datasheets and found this the "Ideal" charger for me. (I still have a bulk/starter charger for the lights-left-on, gotta-get-to-work situation).

I will know next spring how well this worked, but I am confident.

This charger brings lead acid batteries back from the dead.

I had a battery so dead this smart charger wouldn't recognize it was connected. I used a "dumb" trickle charger on the dead battery overnight—the battery still wouldn't hold a charge but that gave it enough juice to hook up the BatteryMINDer. The BatteryMINDer ran its "Desulfater" program for two days after which I gave it a go—started my V6 on the first turn.

I'm interested to observe how much life I get from this battery now.

Buy BatteryMINDer Charger/Maintainer/Desulfater - 12V, Model# 2012 Now

After purchasing multiple batteries because they had sat dead for too long (I purchase a lot of wrecked vehicles that sit for months before they are sent to auction) I got to thinking there must be something out there that can revive an otherwise worthless battery. The final straw came on the last vehicle I repaired; a F250 diesel with two batteries that were only 9 months old, but would not charge sufficiently to start the truck. Faced with spending $200 to replace the batteries I began researching other options. The reviews on the BatteryMinder were enough to convince me to take a chance on it, although it still seemed too good to be true. I'm here to tell you that after a little over a week of desulfating the batteries are as good as new. I followed the recommendations in the instructions and tested the batteries every three days to verify the voltage was increasing and then removed the charger when they stopped gaining voltage. Do yourself a favor and give this thing a try the next time you are faced with replacing a battery that has gone bad. With the price of batteries these days the charger actually costs less than most batteries.

This is a great product. I don't know how it works, but it does. It both charges and desulfates the battery, or in my case the two batteries connected in parallel. I have 4 other BatteryMinder products, but I think this is probably the most capable of the ones I have.

Want BatteryMINDer Charger/Maintainer/Desulfater - 12V, Model# 2012 Discount?

I have had this BatteryMINDer for a little over a month now and I love it. We are connecting it to each of our vehicles (including motorcycles)for about a week at a time. This is one of those products that you don't realize the savings you have until a year or two after you purchase and use it. EVERY review I have read about the BatteryMINDer has been positive. It doesn't just charge your battery, it doesn't just trickle charge your battery after to prevent over heating and boiling out the battery acid, it desulphinates the plates inside which is the main reason batteries die after a few years. This will more than double the life of your car/boat/motorcycle/... battery. The price was great and the delivery was quick!

XAct XS027 Sirius Satellite Radio Portable Boombox with CD Player and AM/FM Tuner

XAct XS027 Sirius Satellite Radio Portable Boombox with CD Player and AM/FM Tuner
  • Satellite radio boombox for XAct XTR1 plug-and-play Sirius satellite radio receiver
  • Front docking slot holds receiver and delivers access to Sirius' 120 satellite stations
  • Top-loading CD player with 45-second shock protection supports CD-R/RW and MP3 discs
  • Digital AM/FM tuner with 10 presets; attached 4-inch full-range speakers (5 watts x 2)
  • Works with 8 D-size batteries; measures 20.8 x 10.2 x 5.25 inches (W x H x D); 1-year warranty

I purchased two of these units and found that the volume function on the remote does not work on either unit. I contacted XACT (which was a huge hassle) and talked to supervisor after supervisor and the only explanation they could give me to why the volume could not be adjusted from the remote was that " it was manufactured that way"... are you kidding, i had stereo's 20 years ago that had a remote that could control volume. Other than that the unit is fine, but I just feel a state of the art "deluxe" boom box should be able to adjust the voulume via the remote. Why else would you waste 2 buttons on the tiny remote. It is just a pain to have to physically increase or decrease the volume manually.

Buy XAct XS027 Sirius Satellite Radio Portable Boombox with CD Player and AM/FM Tuner Now

Must I give this unit 1 star? It deserves ZERO stars.

I purchased XACT model XS027 Boom Box from BEST BUY. The AM/FM "radio" in this model is pure junk. I have been a broadcaster and electronics product design engineer for over 30 years. Typically in a radio receiver design you have to choose between good selectivity (ability to select one channel and reject adjacent channels) and good sensitivity (ability to receive weak broadcasts). The fact that the XS027 does not have an external FM antenna (nor AM antenna) was surprising. I figured that perhaps it had a little bit better RF amplification and therefore would perform just as well. Combine that with the fact I live in the Northern California (Sacramento area) where there are an abundant number of 50K Watt stations on the air, I the last thing I expected was not being able to pick up a very strong local station.

But to my dismay, the AM/FM receiver design in the XS027 is pathetic. I can get some channels even though I am selected as much as 300KHz+ off frequency. For example KHWD 93.7 comes in just as good when the receiver is tuned to 93.4, 93,5, 93.6, 93.7 or 93.8 MHz. And it is not the only station to do that. And I am NOT even close to their transmitter(s).

Then there is KSEG 96.9; which I can not receive at all. I am in their grade A area, but their signal will not lock in on the XS027. KSEG's signal is "best" on the XS027 when I tune to 96.7. EVERY other receiver I have (including some that cost less than $10) pick them up just fine (on 96.9).

What gives? NO sensitivity AND NO selectivity????

Oh I suppose you really dont care about the AM/FM receiver since you figured that everyone would just use the satellite receiver. Well there is a slight bit of truth to that, but there are issues there too. I was out in the forest recently; a good distance away from any terrestrial transmissions. I was down in a canyon and unable to pull in anything on AM/FM (no surprise). Sirius came in just fine. But if I turned the volume up too high, without warning, the satellite receiver simply powered OFF. Once off, the load on the batteries was removed and so the satellite receiver powered back on. On and off like a flasher. Obviously if the batteries are not brand spanking new there is not enough power to operate the satellite receiver. But I used the same set of (dead) batteries to play CDs (at least when they'd play) for well over a week at a fairly high volume.

The CD player is not without its problems either. The spec claims to have a 45 second ESP, but even with the unit sitting solid on a table operating from AC power, CDs often skip, jump or stop playing altogether.

After all these troubles I decided that I must have a bad unit. Then I found out the same unit was on sale at Costco. So I returned my unit to Best Buy and bought an entirely new unit from Costco. The new unit works so identical to the prior unit it is scary. ALL of the same problems, right down to not being able to receive KSEG.

I had a conversation with some PR people from Sirius about this and they directed me to write to the manufacturer, US Electronics in New York. I wrote to them several months ago and did not receive any response. This design is so bad that it can not even be used for the purpose for which it was sold. To me that seems like a case for the FTC.

I've had the XM Delphi boombox for two years now. Today I bought the XS027 for a friend.

I too was frustrated with the volume control on my remote with the boombox. They need to put a info sticker on the remote. I have had equipment where the remote turned the volume knob with a motor. I like this type of analog volume control. I'm assuming the volume works with the car and home kits.

I think the box sounds really good. The inclusion of the radio and CD player is a plus for those very rare occasions. CD plays MP3 too. The aux is jack is something usually not included in products like this. Nice to see it and a rear line out jack on this product.

Want XAct XS027 Sirius Satellite Radio Portable Boombox with CD Player and AM/FM Tuner Discount?

The fact that XACT shipped this boombox without supporting the volume function on the remote is criminal. Basically I spent $130 for a pair of speakers. And now everytime I want to adjust the volume I have to walk across the room.

It's pretty neat the way the designed the box to 'flip' from satellite mode to fm/cd mode.

The cd player / radio are junk. Do not buy this item if you want to use it for anything other than satellie. The lcd display is tiny, not backlit, and hard to read. The radio doesn't even have a scan or seek function. I think they hired the cheapest engineer they could find to design the radio and CD because there was zero thought put into it. I could probably give our company intern a hundred bucks and a soldering iron and get something more innovative.

Another frustrating issue is that you cannot use a "universal" car type antenna with this unit. Yes, I know it comes with a home antenna but if you have an extra car antenna laying around and want to ever use it (say you permanently mounted the home antenna on your roof and want to listen to Sirus at your neighbors bbq with your car antenna) you are SOL unless you want to do what I did and hack the back of the unit up with a sharp knife so you can plug the antenna in.

All that said I am overall satisfied with it. For the money I would expect a nicer speaker setup than cardboard 4" full range but the sound is pretty decent and it looks cool hanging on my wall.

This radio is only good for Sirius. The CD player works on a whim and the controls are so tiny it was like they were designed for a mouse. The remote has never worked, even for selecting stations. No FM/AM reception and I live in a major metropolitan area on the east coast. It is far too big and bulky just for the Sirius part. I kept it tucked in a dark corner its infrequent usage warrants. My only regret about the review is that I cannot give it no stars.

APC BN600R 600VA Battery Back-up

APC BN600R 600VA Battery Back-upPurchased this at Sams Club for $49.99, same exact model.

Anyways I cannot say how it works hooked up to a computer but I am using it for my Cable Internet Box, my Voip Adapter, also my Router and my Base Station on my cordless phone system. Most of you know now that if you have voip and also a cordless phone system if the power goes out so does your internet, router, voip, and so on. In a day where everyone has cell phones why would I need this, well I also have an alarm system and if I needed medical / fire / or police hopefully it would call out before the battery died. Recently I got to see it in action, a wind storm came through trees down, power lines down and no power. I cannot say exactly how long power was out for, but it was close to 1-1/2 hours and everything still had power I even was on my laptop for a little bit using wireless internet.

For my use I am very pleased with this unit.

I baught this because we have terrible storms and wanted to protect our investments. It always allows us to properly shut down the PC durring power outages.

Buy Car Kit Vehicle Charger + Home Wall Travel Battery Charger for Verizon BlackBerry Bold 9650 - Curve Now

I got this mostly to replace my original wall charger, which I somehow misplaced while staying at a friend's even though I try to keep track of it well. I found the car charger quite useful too, since my Blackberry generally is lucky to carry a charge over 1 day even though I've replaced the battery several times and I do charge it each night. I like the option to charge it quick if I am out and want to make a call but find my phone is low, so I can keep the wall charger at home.

Neither are fancy, but get the job done. I can't complain with how cheap they were.

I purchased the chargers so I could have my phone readily available. I seen these and thought wow for this price I cant go wrong.

I was way way wrong! Not only did both chargers flake out after less than 2 weeks of use, but the car charger almost caused a fire in my car! I dont know if the random weirdness my phone now has about it was cause from the charger shorting out, but I can tell you that these products are dangerous and should be avoided!

The charger got so hot that it was almost to hot to pull out of the outlet, and caused my truck to smell of burnt plastic and electronics for nearly a week!

It was on the brink of catching on fire!

Please stay away and spend a little extra money on a name brand. I did after this happened and have not had an issue since. So to me that ruled out my vehicle outlet as the culprit.

And please please dont buy this for your teenagers cause Lord only knows what would have happened if this had happened to them.

These do not work for IPod or Ipod touch even though the description indicates that they do. Don't waste your money.

This is a great charger that is quite versitle in terms of devices that can plug into it. First I should warn you that you should check your device and make sure it is rated for the appropriate output voltage and amperage. However, after doing so I found that in addition to my Archos 5 internet tablet, I could also charge my Garmin 720 NUVI, 2 different cell phones, and 2 different bluetooth headsets with the appropriate USB cable (USB micro or mini). I highly recommend this as a replacement for any lost chargers for many USB mini/micro compatible devices.

Seems to be a good product and only problem there might be is it seems like cheaply made but so far so good. I would recommend it for the price.

Works great. Great quality at a great price. Multiple uses for charging any usb charge capable device. Using for phones, games, Wii chargers.

The car charger and usb cable work fine. The wall charger makes the zen act up while its charging, It's as if random commands are being sent through the charger to the zen. It was deleting songs and playlists. The replacement they sent did the same. I had to buy the very expensive wall charger made by Creative, which worked fine.

CTEK 56-260 Comfort Connect 1/4" Eyelet

CTEK 56-260 Comfort Connect 1/4' EyeletFor the longest time CTEK has aimed at the european car market with 8, 10 mm eyelets, DIN dashmount adapters, etc. For the first time we have their jack with 1/4" (YES INCH) eyelets. This makes for great compatibility on power panels with 1/4" hardware that never fit right with mm sized eyelets.

The 1/4 rings allow you to install a permanent jack for long term storage or recharging dead batteries on american cars. This is not the version with the red, green, yellow LEDs to indicate charge status on the battery those are higher priced by a few dollars and allow you to read the charge status of the battery by watching which LED flashes.

None of the LED indicator models that I have reviewed (priced higher than the simple jack like this) have american hardware yet, so if you want that feature just cut the xx mm ring off, strip the wire back and crimp on the connector which best fits your fuseblock. The blinking LEDs do not draw much power from the battery due to the brief flash, so you can ignore the power loss.

Ctek continues to expand their input and charger hardware.

I have the weathertech branded charger, that apparently is a CTEK charger. The comfort connect is a bit more sturdy than the typical pigtail. The length of this connector is perfect for my Ducati 848. It is hidden just inside the fairing but accessible.

Works great, using one on my wife's Honda 750 Aero and the one that came witht the chareeger on my Honda vtx 1300c. Easy to connect. I tuck mine in behind the side panel on the left side, so its not just hanging down from the bike, then just take the side panel off to plug it in. I may secure with a tie eventually, but it doesn't seem to go anywhere. Maybe now my batteries won't keep dying!

this is an attachment for a trickle charger which did not charge a car battery.

Thus is gets one star just like the unit itself

ACDelco 2SD43XG Battery Cable

ACDelco 2SD43XG Battery CableGood quality cable for the cheapest price around. How can you beat that? Too bad I snapped the post off my starter putting it on but that's my own stupidity and no fault of the cable. Just remember, don't over tighten the nut on the starter!

Cobra 29LTD Classic 40 Channel Mobile CB Radio With Special Edition Chrome Finish 29LTDCHR

Cobra 29LTD Classic 40 Channel Mobile CB Radio With Special Edition Chrome Finish 29LTDCHR
  • 29LTD Classic 40 Channel Mobile CB Radio with Special Edition Chrome Finish.
  • 29 LTD Classic New Look with Chrome Cabinet & Chrome Microphone.
  • Blue Channel LEDs and Signal Strength Meter.
  • Front Panel Mic Connector with 9' Cord.
  • 4 Watts AM RF Power Output.

I had reviewed this CB's details, along with several others. I'd heard stories of knobs falling off, radios flaking out after 2 months, etc. For that reason, I didn't want to buy a cheap piece of junk, so when I first clicked on this CB, it was somewhere at $120.00, (I forget the exact amount). I watched it for 4 weeks. It eventually dropped down to where I could afford it.

Firstly, Amazon.com needs a round of applause, seriously guys, well done. You said the CB would arrive March 26th to April 2nd, ... I got it today, Radio arrived 2 1/2 weeks before I expected it. What a very pleasant surprize. I have ordered from Amazon.com before and never had any problems.

Secondly the NEW shop (product provider) "Niko Key", were absolutely true to their word. Order shipped out WAY ahead of schedule and the Radio was brand new, (Verified by my Ham Radio Buddy). I really cannot tell you enough good things about it. It is absolutely solid, NOT a piece of junk. The knobs and buttons feel solid, (Like they would last for years). Very good reception and transmission verified. I am SO impressed that I want to order a second unit for the small RV I'll be getting soon.

Seriously, this radio "feels like" $200.00, but is currently, to my amazement only $45.00 at last check. I got the RoadPro RP-707 36" Magnet Mount CB Antenna Kit, to go with it. Also NOT expensive. I really did not expect the quality I got, for the price I paid. Set your SWR correctly and you will not have problems. Heck, I am STILL grinning!! Thank you SO much guys!

This is a great CB Radio. It's really popular because of its features and classic Cobra design. TUNE YOUR ANTENNA WITH THE CB'S BUILT-IN SWR METER AND SAVE THE LIFE OF YOUR TRANSMITTER!! You should get years and years of good talking with this Cobra 29LTD. I highly recommend it.
