Rapid Car Kit Auto Plug-in Power Charger for Verizon LG Octane - LG Revolution - US Cellular LG Gen

Rapid Car Kit Auto Plug-in Power Charger for Verizon LG Octane - LG Revolution - US Cellular LG Genesis US760 - LG Versa VX9600 Cell Phone - BestCellBuy BrandI actually bought 3 of them with the idea of other family members and to have a backup in case one broke. Well, all 3 broke and failed to charge in a matter of days. The product seems to overheat and the cord/connector breaks so it doesnt work. I guess I should have wondered why so cheap(?) and now I know... I am returning all for refund.... Please save time and don't buy this product...

My wife had lost her car charger for her phone, and needed one quickly. We came onto Amazon found the perfect one, and she ordered it. It came very fast, and it has worked perfectly.

Great little charger! Doesn't take up alot of room in the car and the light on letting you know it's charging is nice. Could really use a longer cord straight cord though instead of the coiled one.

Although the charger does seem to charge my phone just fine when it's on, it falls out of the cigarette lighter socket at the slightest touch (I mean to the point that it fell out when I turned a corner, never mind actually trying to pick up the phone itself). The red light (to indicate that it is "on") is also very bright, to the point that it was distracting when driving at night. At such a cheap price, there is no point returning it, but I will definitely be looking for something else.

Peak PKC0AQ 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Inflator/Inverter

Peak PKC0AQ 700 Peak Amp Jump Starter with Inflator/InverterPurchased the PKC0AQ approx 6 months ago figuring I might need it in case of an emergency, or perhaps if a coworker was in a jam. Nothing worse than getting stuck at work in the middle of winter. Fully charged the charger and kept at 100%, always wondering when the moment would arise where the Peak charger would save the day. Well, as luck would have it, my 5 year old left the van lights on overnight and "killed" the battery. Grabbed my handy-dandy Peak jump starter, hooked it up... and got 2 slow turn-overs. Period. Tried a few more times w/ power ~ 100%, same thing. Left the unit attached to see if serving as a charger would do the trick, still didn't work. Bottom line is: this unit will leave you stranded when you really need it. I'm just glad I found out in my driveway rather than in a parking garage, in the cold, at the end of a long work day.

Very cheap looking. The pressure gage for the air works sometimes, and there are times when the pressure goes over one-hundred when I start putting air on a tire. The jump starter works pretty good. The quality of this item definitely looks very cheap.

It arrived on time. On of the nice thingsis it is lighter than others that I shopped for. The light works well. It can be charged by either an extension cord or a car lighter. It dos not come with charging cords but standard cords will work I tried to run a CPAP machine using it and it only lasted a few hours. Antoher one at 300 amp lasted two entire nights. I am returning because i need something that will get me through at least one full night. 6-7 hrs.

For having a handy all-in-one device, I don't think it can be beat.

I have used all the features on the device and it functions just as expected.

Although the air gauge is not accurate, almost none of the gauges built into pumps are. I have no complaints.

2003-2006 Nissan 350Z Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob w/ Free DIY Programming InstructionsMy remote key fob came with instructions and it was super easy to program and it works great. Plus it looks nice too !!

I can't speak for the ease of programming, because I had my husband do that part. But I got two and they work perfectly! I was pretty convinced that these would not work, considering they only cost 7 dollars. I was super suprised and pleased! I highly recommend for the person who needs an extra remote!

AIMS Power™ 400 / 800W Inverter

AIMS Power™ 400 / 800W InverterReturned inverter after total failure upon initial trial. Product defective right out of the box. Forced to pay for return shipping then they deducted the initial shipping cost from the refund!! This is the second AIMS inverter that failed the first one used maybe five times. They are 0 for 2 and I'm out a total of about $40 shipping. Their comment when I called about deducting the last shipping charge: "It's only $20." Now that's customer service. DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AND THEIR PRODUCTS RUN!!!!!

I have used this inverter about 10 times so far. Never have had an issue. The fan can be a little loud, but nothing that is too bothersome. I have charged cell phones and laptops from this and everything has worked well. Comes with a plastic case which makes it nice to transport.

GTMax Black 3.5mm FM Transmitter Car Charger for Google Nexus One

GTMax Black 3.5mm FM Transmitter Car Charger for Google Nexus OneI purchased the FM Transmitter Car Charger for the Nexus One phone.

I had problems with the item initially, and contacted the seller.

They were very nice and friendly and helped my replaced the product.

Although it took a while for the replacement item to reach me, there was a significant improvement.

However, although improved, there is still more static/feedback than desired.

But if you're on a budget, I think the quality matches the price.

APC BN600R 600VA Battery Back-up

APC BN600R 600VA Battery Back-upPurchased this at Sams Club for $49.99, same exact model.

Anyways I cannot say how it works hooked up to a computer but I am using it for my Cable Internet Box, my Voip Adapter, also my Router and my Base Station on my cordless phone system. Most of you know now that if you have voip and also a cordless phone system if the power goes out so does your internet, router, voip, and so on. In a day where everyone has cell phones why would I need this, well I also have an alarm system and if I needed medical / fire / or police hopefully it would call out before the battery died. Recently I got to see it in action, a wind storm came through trees down, power lines down and no power. I cannot say exactly how long power was out for, but it was close to 1-1/2 hours and everything still had power I even was on my laptop for a little bit using wireless internet.

For my use I am very pleased with this unit.

I baught this because we have terrible storms and wanted to protect our investments. It always allows us to properly shut down the PC durring power outages.

RoadPro 5027S 12V Smart Car Pot

RoadPro 5027S 12V Smart Car PotJust got this little 12v. pot for heating water, soup, etc. and didn't expect much since I had a recent bad experience with a 12v. coffee maker that, after waiting over an hour for something to happen, didn't work at all. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! This litle unit is well-made and has some very nice features, such as being able to remove the pot from the base for easy cleaning. I also like the fact that, as well as an "on" light, the pot lights up with a white light to let you know that it is seated correctly on the base. It also has a nice safety feature in that it will shut off if there's not enough water, so it won't "burn dry." Best thing, though, is that it really does work! It does take longer with 12v. units, but that's to be expected. However, in less than half an hour the water was bubbling merrily away! I am very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

I purchased this unit as my wife and I love the "coffee on the go" mode and figured to save a few bucks in the long run on the expensive Convenience Store drinks. So far, and that includes three vehicles, we have blown the fuse every time that we plug the RoadPro into the cigarette lighter. I am approaching half the cost of the unit in replaced fuses. I'm not saying that the unit will not work, in fact I believe that it will do what it claims if you can get the proper power to it. For many vehicles, it will require a heavier wire to be routed from the battery to a seperate 12 volt outlet. This takes the convenience away and adding new wiring to the vehicle adds cost to the use of the RoadPro.

Buy RoadPro 5027S 12V Smart Car Pot Now

Being an over-the-road driver I carried one of these for awhile in order to make coffee and hot cereal. It actually heats pretty well, and is a much better product than the previous one I had. However after about 3 months of 3-4 times a week use, it started to leak through the base and into the heating element. After that it quit completely. As this happened with 2 of these in a row, I tend to believe it's a design flaw. For occasional use, it's probably well worth it, but if you use it regularly, expect to replace it every couple of months.

What a treat to have hot tea or instant coffee on long road trips. Holds enough for 2 cups of your favorite brew. Takes about 15 minutes for hot water, 20 minutes to boil. Very handy.

Want RoadPro 5027S 12V Smart Car Pot Discount?

It takes around a half hour to heat water that is "cool to the touch" up to a temperature suitable for making tea, etc.

This really isn't the fault of the manufacturer. They are stuck making a product that can work on just about any car's accesory outlet (unfortunately some vehicles can't provide more than 10 Amps or so). I bought two of these gadgets and they consume around 8Amps (give or take a bit) or approximately 100watts. That sets how long it takes to heat water.

Otherwise, it is reasonably well built. The little bracket that comes with the car pot is a little cheesy, but everything else is fine.

Car Charger for the iPod Nano 1G, 2G and 3G, iPod Video, iPod Photo, iPod U2, iPod 3G, 4G, and iPod

Car Charger for the iPod Nano 1G, 2G and 3G, iPod Video, iPod Photo, iPod U2, iPod 3G, 4G, and iPod Classic, iPod Touch, and iPhone
  • Brand new non-OEM
  • LED power indicator and Vehicle Lighter Adaptor. (12v DC)
  • Plug never heats or overcharges the battery
  • Built-in charging circuitry protects your car against back-flow current and your iPod from excessive
  • iPod not included

Trust me, there is a good reason why these chargers are dirt cheap. I received two of them, and they were BOTH defective!

On the first charger, the light on the charger turned green when I plugged it into the 12V power port on my car, but it would not charge my iPod Photo. I noticed that the light on the charger itself blinked red for a split second when I plugged it into my iPod, but then quickly returned back to green and did nothing particually useful after that.

It took two full weeks to finally receive a replacement from "BargainCell", which was unfortunately ALSO defective. This charger was a different model than the first one, which had a red light that turned on when I plugged into the 12V socket. When I plugged it into my iPod, it started to charge for a few seconds, only to "reboot" quickly after that. My poor iPod kept restarting itself every few seconds, until a bad battery icon showed up on the screen and the iPod froze. My hunch is that the second charger was not sending a steady voltage to the iPod, which was causing it to crash.

Fortunately, my iPod did not seem to be damaged by either of these defective chargers. The iPod still charges when I plug it into my computer, and continues to play normally. I also know that the 12V power port on my car is not the cause of this problem, either, as I'm using it to successfully power both my GPS and my cell phone charger.

The most annoying thing from this experience is that I needed to go to the store and spend far more on a working name brand car charger for my iPod after wasting three weeks with these pieces of junk. Please learn from my mistake, and steer clear of this garbage.

This charger is dirt cheap for a reason!! It is horrible!! When I first used it, I was dissapointed right away with the 2 foot extended chord (pretty much max lenth), because unless you have a car charging port right next to you, it is almost impossible to use your ipod while charging it. Also, when I first plugged it in, the charging indicator light was RED! What a dissapointment! Finally, much like in the first review, my 30 gig video ipod showed identical symptoms to that of the first reviewer's. It continually restarted and shut off from the insufficient power supply, and would freeze on me as well. I as well went home later and plugged my ipod into the computer, and it worked just fine.

The product works fine.. But you know what, they just send by USPS, but charge a lumpsum shipping compared to product price.. They seem to make up the discount in the shipping charge, as I saw a similar product for less than this price in a local store... (That;s why 3*, otherwise the product itself is 5*)

Whistler Pro-800W 800 Watt Power Inverter

Whistler Pro-800W 800 Watt Power InverterA prime selling point is the internal technology it's designed to handle high startup loads for longer than most inverters. Note that a common load nowadays laptops and electronic equipment (which use their own transverters) have a high capacitive load. Power tools usually an inductive load. So you need an inverter that won't trip out while most modern (i.e. non resistive) loads start.

For my wife's van 3 laptops and a Wii is common. For my truck for various power tools. My trusty 400W would no longer reliably handle the load. Esp at startup without a plug which in first dance.

Don't look for cigarette lighter adapter it just won't work for 800W. They're common with 400W inverters but won't reliably supply them either (12-14v x 15 Amps is about 200 watts). And even your cigarette lighter wire is usually undersized (read not for continuous use at fused amperage) So don't ding any high power inverter over cigarette lighter adapters it's a simple technical requirement.

To handle the load, I'm running new fused power wires from the battery through the firewall to the dash.

Note one trick on running wire run two 10 gauge wires instead of one large one for each polarity. Just be sure each red/positive is individually fused at the battery and the you can tie them together at the inverter (each wire is self protected safe and both together supply needed current). This is a common trick used by HAMs and others. Much easier wire to work with and fuses (up to 40A) are standard automotive fuses and holders.

Here's a link to that wiring trick (or search for "most practical powerpole size for 700 watt inverter")

I use this power inverter to power a laptop, webcam, and video camera while storm chasing. The only problem I have is the USB slot. It will not keep up with a smart phone, at least with everything powered up and charging. I fixed that issue by adding a small extension cord.

Really this inverter works pretty good. Keep in mind you're getting what you pay for. If it's cheap, don't have overly high expectations for a product to last 20 years. Mine is used and abused as it sits in the floor of my car. Passengers kick and step on it all the time and it continues to function.

All in all I thinks it's worth the purchase.....

Slime COMP06 Pro Power Heavy-Duty 12-Volt Tire Inflator

Slime COMP06 Pro Power Heavy-Duty 12-Volt Tire InflatorI'm writing this review because the Amazon description doesn't inform you that you NEED 15 amps to power the device as clearly stated in the owner's manual. Unfortunately, I didn't know this before purchase so when I plugged it into my Honda Pilot which only supplies 10 amps, it didn't work. I called Slime customer service who confirmed that all their products require 15 amps.

Check your car owner's manual to make sure your power socket supplies 15 amps!

I'm giving it 5 stars because the device itself looks very high quality with a nice storage case. Slime customer service was also speedy and helpful. Too bad the Amazon item description was inadequate.

UPDATE: I have since bought the Black & Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator which works great with my car.

Great carry case, well made, very fast tire inflation, a good buy. Works well on larger SUV type tires. Not a cheesy, cheap compressor.

Buy Slime COMP06 Pro Power Heavy-Duty 12-Volt Tire Inflator Now

This pump is far and away superior to a cheaper unit I had been using. I like the coiled air hose and its screw-on connector to the tires and its quick-disconnect connector to the pump. Also, the pump-mounted switches are more substantial than the switch on my old pump, which was on the power cord and had to be replaced. As noted by others, the fabric carrying case does fit the unit snugly, but I've had no difficulty removing or replacing the pump or air hose in the case.

Read Best Reviews of Slime COMP06 Pro Power Heavy-Duty 12-Volt Tire Inflator Here

The Slime tire inflator is exactly what I wanted. I was seeking durability, portability and affordability. I got all three. The inflator is built much better than most tire inflators in the same price range. It is very portable, even including a handy case so it can be stowed neatly in the trunk. For me, the price was right as well.

I added five pounds pressure to each of my Toyota Corolla tires after receiving the unit. Within two to three minutes the additional pressure was reached. Inflating a flat tire may take up to 10 minutes, but that time is much better than using a hand pump!

The Slime also includes additional attachments for basketballs, beach balls, and other inflatables. The tire attachment screws on the valve, which I much prefer over the common clip.

I recommend this product highly -I don't believe you'll be disappointed if you are seeking an affordable, portable tire inflator!

Want Slime COMP06 Pro Power Heavy-Duty 12-Volt Tire Inflator Discount?

This 'heavy duty' inflator failed after only a few uses. It was typically very slow to inflate my car's tires, but would eventually fill them to the required pressure. At one point, my tire was very low on pressure and the Slime inflator managed to bring it up to pressure after several minutes. After that, however, the unit no longer worked.

Also, for me, having the unit powered by the car's power socket, and not having a 110V alternative, was inconvenient.

I would not buy this unit again.

Instapark 10 Watt Solar Panel Portable Solar Charger with Dual USB Ports for iPhone, iPad & all oth

Instapark 10 Watt Solar Panel Portable Solar Charger with Dual USB Ports for iPhone, iPad & all other USB Compatible Devices
  • 10 Watt high-efficiency mono-crystalline solar panel with foldable design offers excellent portability, ideal for emergency preparedness, backpacking, camping and other outdoor activities
  • Built-in dual USB charging ports for directly plugging in iPhone, iPad and other USB compatible mobile devices
  • No additional battery needed for charging external devices, 100% green energy with zero carbon footprint
  • Measures only 9 X 6 X 2 inches and weighs less than 1 lb
  • 1-year manufacturer's warranty

This device is rated to output 5 VDC at 2 amps max and it features dual USB port outputs to charge two devices at once. I had success with the product as it would charge an iPhone 4, two iPhone 4's simultaneously, iPad 2, iPad 3, an 11,000 mAh storage battery and a Kindle Fire. This is on a beautiful sunny day.

Here are my test results:

* Charging my wife's iPad 2 was OK. This charged it from 80 % to 100% in under one hour.

* Charging one iPhone was fast and easy.

* Charging two iPhones from 45% and 56% respectively to 100% simultaneously on both phones in 80 minutes.

* Charging an iPad 3 from 28% to 85% in 5 hours. This is a good job as the iPad 3 uses a lot of power to recharge and takes a long time even using the Apple AC wall charger. My iPad 3 did stop charging 3 times due to clouds passing over and the iPad 3 displayed the charging not supported with this accessory error each time. I had to disconnect it and plug it back in to resume charging.

* Charging an 11000 mAh battery was also slow. It charged the battery from 25% to 52 % in about 90 minutes. Charging 2 1/2 hours more raised the battery charge to 62 %. It is good that you can charge batteries in this manner as now you will have both a daytime and nighttime source of energy. This slow charging may have been due to a few clouds passing over on the first day of testing.

* Be very careful of exposing your electronic devices to the hot sun. I covered mine with a white towel and then covered that with a white cardboard box. High temperatures are not good on batteries, electronics and LCD displays. Left in the sun unprotected they will be damaged severely.

* Charging a Kindle Fire worked but again it was slow going due to randomly cloudy skies. The Kindle Fire LED lit power button did not light up but the Kindle Fire did charge.

This solar panel would be ideal for outdoor use by campers and anyone who needed to charge a phone, iPad, or a USB rechargeable battery, GPS or flashlight. This product is great for emergencies when you lose power.

The unit folds up nicely into a portable package that is small and lightweight. It is easy to pack or put into a backpack. The USB ports are contained in a Velcro closed pocket that is also large enough to hold your phone and the cable while it is charging. You can also carry extra USB cables in the pouch for your various electronic devices. The solar panel has multiple hanging loops to hang it on a wall, side of a tent or a line if you need to.

I tested the unit over 2 days and both days had nice sunny skies. Despite that fact the solar panel performed much better the second day. Full intense sunlight provides the best results and any clouds or shadows can stop your device from charging even though the solar panel resumes outputting the proper voltage and current levels when the sun returns. This is due to your electronic device charging circuit and this cannot be helped. Please watch my attached video and I hope it is informative for you.

I was provided a free sample of the device for testing and to provide an impartial review.

Buy Instapark 10 Watt Solar Panel Portable Solar Charger with Dual USB Ports for iPhone, iPad & all oth Now

I just spent a good long time deciding between the Instapark Mercury 10 and the Goal Zero Nomad 7 (usually sold as the Goal Zero 19010 Guide 10 Plus Small Adventure Kit). Hopefully you can benefit from my observations.

I spent about a week with my brother-in-law's Nomad 7, and ultimately bought the Mercury 10 (actually, the Instapark 10 Watts Solar Panel Portable Solar Charger with Dual USB Ports for iPhone, iPad & all other USB Compatible Devices, 5,200 mAh Battery Pack Included). Here's how the two compared:

FORM FACTOR:

These two units are almost identical in size. Folded, they're both 6" x 9" (or about the same height as an iPad and about 1.5" narrower). Unfolded, the Mercury 10 is a couple of inches longer because of the closure flap (which can be folded back behind the unit).

The Mercury 10 weighs more. On my scale, it comes in at 17.7 oz., about 5 oz heavier than the Nomad 7. This is because it provides three solar panels instead of two.

There's a difference in the thickness when they're folded. Both units have a tri-fold design. In the Nomad 7, two sections have solar panels in them and the third has the power connector and a storage pocket. With the Mercury 10, all three sections have solar panels in them. The storage pocket is on the outside and has the power connectors in it.

If you were to put the folded units side-by-side, the thickness would be about the same. But there's a subjective difference in feel. Closing the Nomad feels like closing a folder with a deck of cards inside, since it has its power connectors and battery chargers on the inside flap. It feels lumpy and awkward. The Mercury 10, on the other hand, folds completely flat, with accessory pouch and the bulky connectors on the outside. Again, it's purely subjective.

I will say this, though. I think Instapark came up with something brilliant when they decided to put the USB connectors on the back of the unit, inside the Mercury 10's storage pocket. This makes it so you can put smaller devices, like cell phones, in the pocket while they charge. This keeps them off dirty surfaces and uses the shade of the solar panels to protect them from heat.

It's also worth noting that both are housed in sturdy, black fabric with a Velcro closure, both have loops for hanging the panel, and both cover the solar panels with a thin plastic sheet for protection. Virtually identical.

POWER:

Which one you go with will probably come down to your power requirements.

The real measure of a solar panel's potency is how much current it pumps out. More current = faster recharge times. The Mercury 10 puts out twice the juice: 2 amps vs. 1 amp from the Nomad 7. Both panels can increase their output by working in tandem with a battery pack. The idea here is that the solar panel keeps the battery pack charged, and the battery pack charges your devices.

The Mercury 10 aims squarely at the USB market, since most devices charge off of USB these days. It offers two USB ports and can supply up to two amps of charging current. That's some significant juice for such a small unit. You'll be able to charge even large devices like iPads straight off the panel.

The Nomad 7 goes for a broader range of power options. If you want USB, it provides one port, but at only 0.5 amps. That's fine for phones and small devices, but isn't enough for a tablet. To charge a tablet, you'll have to use Goal Zero's optional battery pack in tandem with the panels.

The upside of the Nomad 7 is that it also lets you charge AA batteries (if you get the optional AA/AAA battery pack/recharger the Guide 10 Plus). That's a bonus for adventurers who need to charge batteries for their flashlights, GPS units, etc.

To charge AA/AAA batteries off of the Mercury 10, you'll have to get a separate USB battery charger. Instapark doesn't make one (why?), but Sanyo has a fantastic one the Eneloop USB battery charger. The Mercury 10 produces enough power to run four of these (eight batteries at a time).

The Nomad 7 also has a 12-volt option with a standard cigarette-lighter-sized plug. But at that voltage, it only produces 0.2 amps of juice, only enough for very small applications.

SUMMARY:

With the Nomad 7, you get lower weight and more power options, but at a lower output. If you get the add-on battery pack to improve the power output, you lose the weight advantage.

With the Mercury 10, you get a slightly heavier package because of the additional solar panel, but you gain twice* the output. However, you're limited to charging USB devices.

For me, power output and charging time matter. So the Mercury 10 was a no-brainer, especially paired up with a couple of AA/AAA USB battery chargers, which I could more than afford at the Mercury 10's lower price point.

[*How do you get twice the output from only 50% more panel area? Because the Mercury 10 keeps its operating voltage down to 5 volts. Lowering the voltage gives it a current boost. You see the same principle in reverse with the Nomad 7: it normally produces 1 amp at 6 volts. But when they double the voltage to 12 volts, the current gets cut in half.]

Good power output, enough to charge my phone and Nexus 7 pad in reasonable time, however, I question how durable the device is in the long term.

The entire solar panel is divided into three semi ridged sections. Each section puts out about 600mA under full sun. Each of the panel is designed to put out about 6V under full sun, there is a small regulator in the USB connector to convert it down to 5V for the device.

After receiving the device, although it looks fine, under microscope, I can see two of the panel have half of the solar cell cracked. As a result, the two damaged panel puts out about 450mA under full sun. This led me to question how easily these panel can have cracked cells resulting in degrading output capacity.

Packing weight for the panel is about 600g, it is a bit too heavy to use for backpacking.

Tested under full noon sun, output taken before the regulator, the short circuit current is 1558mA.

Full data:

6.16V 32mA

6.08V 116mA

5.89V 288mA

5.54V 586mA

5.33V 862mA

5.13V 1050mA

4.61V 1327mA

3.60V 1500mA

I'm not sure why as of this writing this product isn't getting amazing reviews but it deserves them! For the $60 bucks I paid, it is phenomenal. In full sun, I can SIMULTANEOUSLY charge an iPhone 4 and Galaxy S2 (two of the most power hungry types of phones). I've only used it a few times so far, but one of those times it was a completely cloudy afternoon & I left my android phone plugged into the solar panel while streaming audio all day. It was pretty neat to disconnect it at day's end with a charged battery all while in the field with no power outlets having been otherwise accessible :) It folds up the size of my hand and is probably half an inch thick or so, weighs about as much as my phone so it's lightweight and sturdy enough to toss into a backpack. There's a pocket to stick your phone in while charging that velcroes closed, handy when hanging it somewhere via the builtin straps on each corner or placing the panel on your dash as it secures the phone/loose wires etc... If you are thinking about getting something like this, look no further.

I really highly recommend this solar panel by Instapark. It is simply amazing to watch this panel charge up my 5200mah to 6000mah rechargeable power pack batteries As fast as it does. This Solar Panel has got to be maxing out really close to its 2 amp potential as is stated in the product info section. As the above reviewer mentioned, I too simply can't understand how it is possible that only two people ( as of now ) have reviewed this item.

I have been shopping around for really high quality and well priced solar panels for almost six months now. I have a 12 watt panel, very well made, totally up to new tech standards, and I really think just from observation that this 10 watt panel is putting out a good amount more then the 12 watt, 5volt model I purchased. And these panels are half the size of that one. They take up no room at all.

This is a really great buy! I love this panel and already have bought myself a second one. Right afterwards they raised the price about ten per cent! LOL!!

It also keeps charging even when the clouds move in, although I can't say at what precise output levels since I don't own a micro volt meter measuring thing.

I bought both of my 10 watt as kits with Instapark batteries. The 5600 mah one, is working fine. And it is the least expensive of the two offered. I also bought the panel along with the series 1800 I believe, it is the one that is rated at 5200mah, and it totally burnt out last night when I went to use it for the first time with my IPhone 4. I was kind've disappointed!

So the panel is beyond great. ya gotta get one for yourself to see its high end performance. But I do not know about instaparks batteries. I had to return a much larger one that also was brand new but was already acting up. If I mixing up battery info with the panel review it is only because they offer this panel alone and also with the two different battery kits. But putting that aside, the panel even looks great, comes with a well designed foldable system that reduces it to a very small and cool looking paperback book sized black kit with a separate well designed compartment where you can store your battery or evn your phone and has this wonderful Velcro closed pouch cover. So the whole kit will fit in any small to medium shoulder bag, knapsack, or even a large coat pocket. I will update my review since I bought these a month ago and am curious to see how long they maintain their outstanding performance. They work so well, that if they bring their prices back down that ten percent I am going to be getting a third one.

NOCO ID220S 6V-24V 125 Amp Battery Disconnect Switch

NOCO ID220S 6V-24V 125 Amp Battery Disconnect SwitchMy vehicle has a phantom leak, so I had been disconnecting the negative ground at night. I researched several battery disconnect options. Most top mounted battery disconnect complaints involved cheap parts that broke when installing. While the NOCO disconnect switch did not have any reviews, their other products are rated 4 stars or better. Also, this switch is advertised for 6 to 24 volts, 125 amps. I decided it was worth a try. I love that I can now just pop the hood and un/twist the knob as opposed to disconnecting the cable. I could not be happier.

That said, it should be noted, this disconnect switch is designed to fit on the negative battery terminal. And, as they note in their product description, this is a top mount switch. Also, when installing, play around with the position. For example, you might have to rotate the negative grounding wires around the switch post to get the best fit. Once you've decided you like the positioning, you can tighten everything down.

This does not fit standard car batteries properly. It may work ok for motorcycles but it is too small for standard car batteries. I ended up purchasing the correct item from the hardware store near me.

Works well and does what it says its suppose to do. Easy to install and great for a car that is going to sit for awhile.

It gets the job done but I needed to add copper shims to the end post as the negative battery cable would not tighten down enough to clamp down on the post. It seems strange that the effective post diameter is smaller than the nominal clamp inside diameter. Anyway, seems to work fine once the necessary adjustments were made.

  • One 2 or 4 gauge input and two 4 or 8 gauge inputs
  • All battery terminals feature platinum style finish

I bought this little terminal and found out it doesnt fit my KnuKonceptz 1/0 gauge cable, i must have overlooked the terminal and mistakenly got the wrong one. works great if you got 2 gauge cable and above. it requires a hex key to tighten onto battery top post and it has a fitting to snug up connection better to the battery post. Its a nice solid piece, compared to the others ive used. hopefully it works out great for anyone else

A great adapter! I have thrown away many others which would only work through one car speaker. Finally found one which uses the whole sound system in the car. It didn't compromise the quality of sound either ... works for us! We're happy with it :o)

This product works very well that I don't think I'd use the second tape that came with this order. But if for some reason I do, I don't doubt that it would work just as well as the first.

Produces very good quality sound. I had to reduce bass and change other settings to normal levels as this really was reproducing well.

Don't know why they are not doing well in other areas. Next time i buy any audio hardware, i will give Phillips a serious try.
