It holds down the battery. It holds down the darn battery for Pete's sake. It does what it is suppose to do...

Purchased this as a replacement for my ford ranger, which was missing this item when I purchased it. Up in the rust belt, over time, these (and every other) bolts rust through and snap upon removal attempts, often leaving the remainder of the bolt seized onto the threads (penetrating oil doesnt help). Drill out the old one, clean up the threads, than drop this one in. Perfect fit, works great. These used to be easy to find locally, but, as time goes on, less and less ford vehicles are still on the road that utilize this part. Especially up here....

I recently purchased a battery for my BMW motorcycle, and used the drop down boxes to select the right model of the battery. It arrived on time and I charge the battery after adding the electrolites, and then discovered it was the wrong size for the battery opening. After several calls/emails I spoke with someone from the 3rd party that sold the battery, and they offered me a full refund and told me to keep the charged battery. No hassles and they even said they were sorry for the mixup. Cant ask for anything more. Now, I hope they went back and fixed the info in their system that leads folks to the wrong size, but I am satisfied with how I was treated by Amazon and the vendor.

I was suprised with the size of this thing when it arrived

Its front is the same size a regular car stereo, so big to fit anywere

Thus, it don't autoconect at all

Even the recording function only records in memory, so if you want to move the recording to computer, you'll have to play on it's own speakers and record with an external recording device

The battery also dont last more than few minutes by itself, probably it's an old stock, with deffective parts

This goes to garbage, and the good thing is it didn't cost much

Ive seen these things go through years of systematic abuse. Dragged on pavement, slammed, dropped endless times on concrete, and fiercely cussed because they simply ran out of grease. I saw a fellow smash his toe, and out of pure rage, he went completely insane and threw one of these things into a solid block wall not 4 feet away. It survived, having already suffered at least 3 years of abuse by numerous other people. The plastic part surrounding the motor is vulnerable, i have seen them break. I finally bought one. I have no regrets or complaints. Nothing cheap looking, sounding, or acting about them. Very nice set in a rugged, attractive carrying case. Nothing you would want to put in your wife's stocking or buy your girlfriend on her birthday, but definitely a nice addition in the guys garage. These are exceptional grease guns and I do recomment one. I dont know much about the other brands but if its not a Lincoln, then I just don't care.

This is the second Lincoln PowerLuber I've owned. The first went along with the rest of my construction equipment when I sold my excavation business. I have a couple of tractors and hated having to hold the grease tip on the fitting with one hand while trying to pump the handle with the other. Not a problem now. Also, in cold weather, or with stubborn fittings, the gun puts out more pressure than lever or hand pump guns. I recommend it. The 12 volt unit works fine for residential or small farm use. This converter worked perfectly for me. My wife and I were making an 8-hour drive for the Thanksgiving holiday and wanted to have power for a 13" MacBook Pro and our iPhones. The inverter did exactly what you would expect it charged our devices! It's pretty handy that this device has two plugs AND the USB port, and that's one of the reasons I picked it over some of the other similar models. However, be sure that if you use both plugs, the combined power requirements of the devices do not exceed 200 watts.

And that brings me to the next point. I specifically bought a less expensive, smaller model because 200 watts was more than adequate for our needs, so it didn't make sense to spend more for a 400W+ model that would likely be larger, louder and hotter than this one. The 13" MacBook Pro we have only uses 60 watts when charging, so this 200W charger was way more than necessary to do the job. If you have a big, power-hungry laptop or other device that you intend to charge with this, verify that your device is within the range supported by this converter or you will have problems.

I have no regrets about this purchase and would definitely recommend it to other folks who are considering it.

I've had this inverter for a couple of weeks. The great thing about this model is that it does not make that annoying high-pitched alarm that most inverters make when they go into low battery condition. I use this inverter for non-automotive use and needed something that would simply shut down quietly when the battery gets down to 11 Volts or lower without giving off noisy alarms. In addition, this model has no moving parts: it does NOT have a fan and operates very whisper quiet. It still does not seem to get hot though this maybe because I operate it in a cooler climate outdoors. I have not used the USB port on it yet.

I have gone through several makes of inverters and been frustrated with erratic operations, noisy alarms and loud fans and I'm happy I finally found this one.

I would definitely recommend this model.

I have to reduce my original 5-star rating to 3-stars. I got to test this under various conditions and no longer feel it meets my needs. As mentioned in my previous review, I don't use this inverter inside a Car with a starting type battery. Instead I use it with a non-car 12V 80 Amp-Hour deep cycle/marine battery. Deep-cycle batteries are designed to take more abuse by allowing the user to run the battery all the way down to 11 Volts (& sometimes as low as 10 Volts). However, this Wagan model goes into low-battery mode too soon at about 11.9 Volts. The specs on the actual packaging implies it can tolerate upto 8.5 Volts input. When I connected a 100 Watt incandescent light bulb to this inverter at a battery input voltage at 12.1 Volts, this inverter started cycling rapidly like "off-on-off-on-off-on..." every half second. My 100W bulb kept flickering rapidly and when I disconnected the 100W load, the battery recovered quickly to 12.1 Volts.

What's happening is, when smal loads like 40 to 75 Watts are connected to this inverter, it works fine (assuming battery is charged to 12.1+ volts). However, when connected to 100 W loads (less than 9Amp starting current), there is a voltage drop in the input side of the inverter. This is normal but the electronics in this inverter treats this momentary drop in volts as a low-battery condition and tries to shutdown. But within about a second, the battery quickly recovers back upto 12+ volts and the inverter tries to re-establish the connection to battery. But as soon as it re-connects to the battery, it again goes into low-battery mode and tries to shut down again. This cycles keeps repeating itself as off-on-off-on-off-on...Direct connection to battery terminals does not fix this.

The bottom line is: if you plan on using this inverter inside a vehicle with a 100W+ load (Laptops etc) AND are willing to turn on the ignition every half-hour or hour, create noise and gasoline pollution and engine wear and tear, this inverter should do the job. To be fair, this is a widespread design issue with most other brands as well and not just peculiar to Wagan.

What manufacturers should do is provide a selector switch to select between Deep CycleCar Starting batteries. Doing this will allow consumers to get more out of their batteries without artificially going into low-battery alarm/shutdown pre-maturely.

The search may be ending. Ironically, the PREVIOUS version of this model (http://www.amazon.com/Wagan-EL2402-SmartAC-Power-Inverter/dp/B000YQT6RS/ref=cm_rdp_product) works much better and that's the one I decided to keep. The previous model is silent without a fan and tolerates low-battery condition much better. I had a 100W incandescent bulb connected to this inverter for several hours and the inverter got barely warm to the touch. It does NOT make that annoyingly loud alarm that is common in other inverters when battery volts drop below 11.5V. Due to these reasons, the older Wagan model EL2402 enables me to get more use out of a "non-car" deep-cycle battery (i.e., a battery not used for starting an engine). I have had the older model for the past 5 months. Recommended before this rare older inverter runs out of stock!

I bought this little thing to connect a Nintendo Wii to our car dvd player during a road trip, it worked like a charm, no problems whatsoever, however, I'd recommend putting it on a place with some kind of ventilation as it can get pretty warm fast. I like that you can turn it on/off without having to disconnect. Its small too.

This is a great product for so many reasons. It works well, so more than one device can plug in at a time and work fine. It also can be hidden under the seat. Think about most of these type of power invertersthey normally stick out of the car like an ugly thing that never fits... This always fits in any car. It has the actual inverter seperate from the end of the cord that goes into the car... GREAT! Finally someone was smart!

I ordered this item to go along with my new Garmin Nuvi 2360LMT. I knew this model GPS didn't come with any kind of a case through research and wanted something to protect the screen when I toss it into my laptop bag or other place when traveling.

I wanted something sturdy to protect it from scratches and crushing, as sometimes things can get crushed in overhead bins when someone gets a bit overzealous in cramming their stuff in an already full bin. This item is listed as a hard case, so I thought I'd give it a try. I guess I couldn't have expected aluminum for the price at which this was offered, but it is a bit lightweight in terms of being a hard case. Without tearing the nylon covering off the material used, it feels as if it's a light weight plastic underneath. I rated the item a 4-star primarily for this reason. The phrase hard case just brings to mind something a little sturdier.

Truth be told, it will probably do just fine in most cases for me and I don't anticipate it being a problem, as long as I'm mindful of this. I'll just have to keep in mind that it isn't sturdy enough to toss in a pile of bags, or to not pay attention when placing it into overhead bins or gate checking a backpack. Under those conditions, it could crush enough to contact the screen of the GPS unit and lead to damage, particularly if something with a sharp corner presses against it with a bit of pressure. I'll just have to keep it in mind and be careful...

For the price, I'm pleased with what I received and would buy another if needed at this time. I'll post back if I run into any problems, or if it doesn't hold up as long as I think it should for the price and it's intended usage.

This hard case for my Nuvi 1690 is very nice and came at a very attractive price point...would definitely buy again!

Got this for my trip to the East Coast and parts of Canada. Was going to be driving after flying into NYC. I didn't want my new gps to get damaged in the luggage, so I purchased this holder/protector. I'd give this thing 5 stars for the price, but the lack of useful instructions & operating tips with the unit made me take away a star, & is probably the reason for some poor reviews here.

First, the unit does not have 4 "bands". It has 4 frequencies to choose from between 88.1-88.7mhz. If you have a crummy radio that only picks up strong stations, or picks up bits of a strong station on more than 1 place on the dial, most FM transmitters will give you problems with those basic & cheap radios.

I have not used this unit in a car yet (got it primarily for the laptop & mp3 player), but if you follow my tips, it shouldn't give you a problem.

When you open the battery cover, you'll find a black wire around the circumference inside. This is the transmitting antenna. If you grab the black tip of it, it extends out & through the hole in the battery cover when you replace the cover.

With the antenna wire not extended & remaining inside, I was able to listen to my music perfectly throughout an entire 2 bedroom apartment on my Eton E5 & Realistic DX-390 radios. On my Grindig Mini 300 & GE SuperRadio* I was only able to get good reception no further than the next adjoining room.

With the wire extended out through the battery cover hole, I was able to get perfect reception on all my radios through the entire apartment, the attic above, & the floor below me... in a metal frame building. With the E5 radio, I was able to pick up the transmitter from the ground floor, 3 floors below.

I tried to twist a couple feet of wire to the transmitter's antenna wire to extend it. No need to strip off the wire's insulation... radio waves easily pass right through it. I was able to pick up the transmitter on the ground floor with any radio, & on the E5 form across the street, & down the street a few doors.

It looks like someone handy could just loosen the screws inside & permanently solder a slightly longer antenna wire in it.

The instructions do warn to keep your player volume low or you'll overdrive & distort the transmitter. I find the transmitter input is sensitive enough to be overdriven with the volume set at under halfway on most players & laptops. So start off with the player volume on a very low setting, & the radio's volume at average or higher to get a very clean sound.

Since I have a lot of radios with built in speakers, from the size of a cigarette pack to a boom box, I couldn't see investing in amplified speakers for a player or laptop & still be somewhat portable & mobile. With the transmitter, any decent radio can serve as a wireless amplified speaker system... small enough to fit into a shirt pocket or a large loud box.

Blue & white LEDs require at least 3.6 volts to light, unlike older red, orange, yellow, & green LEDs than only require 2 volts. The transmitter probably uses 3 AAA cells for enough voltage to power the blue LED. The 3 rechargable AAA cells I'm using in it have lasted over a month so far, & are still going strong.

*Everyone seems to praise the GE SuperRadio as very sensitive. It is not, & is only a little more sensitive than any cheap radio you can buy from your drugstore. It is cheap though, & if you do pick up a good signal onit, it has excellent sound for a portable, rivaling many bigger & more expensive boom boxes. With the transmitter, I use it as a super great & loud, wireless powered speaker. It takes 6 "D" batteries, but they last months.

This little piece of worthless plastic trash does absolutely nothing. Batteries are in, iPod is on, doesn't work on any radio in the house, on any frequency, and does not work in the car. Oh, correction, it worked for about 2 seconds in the car, but was immediately overcome by static, and did not work again. Please do not waste your hard-earned money on this. Maxell, please stop ripping off America. Thanks.

I just bought this and am now listening to my iPod through my home stereo. Unlike the previous reviewer, I had no difficulty selecting a radio station (all four stations, 88.1, 88.3, 88.5 and 88.7 appear to work fine), or getting static instead of music.

The sound is good, and the only time I get any significant static is when I move the iPod a few feet away from my stereo receiver. Considering the low price of the item, I am very pleasantly surprised.

I bought this since it was the cheapest transmitter I could find. Maxell usually makes good accessories, but this one was not one of their better products. Although I could listen to music on my mp3 player, I couldn't put the player down while driving. I had to hold it while driving with one hand to get the best possible sound! Otherwise all I heard was static. Also, why does this small device need 3 AAA batteries? Kind of odd in my opinion. There's an on/off switch that you shouldn't forget about either or the batteries will drain. I'm probably going to buy a new one soon.

I am really surprised that there are no reviews for this great power inverter, I have seen it in Radioshack some time ago for 39.99$ and almost bought it there. Amazon offered much better price so I went for it. I have used it once in the camping trip last week and it performed great, we used it to power up the laptop computer and the drop light with 20Wat neon light in the tent. It is surprisingly well made for 20 bucks, solid aluminum convenient size casing, fan is quiet and it comes on and off intermittently as needed, it gives you a signal if your battery is getting low so you not drain it completely.I would reccomend this nice piece of equipment for a friend. This inverter provides a "Modified sine wave," not a true sine wave (if you hook this up to an oscilloscope, the waveform will be boxy instead of smooth). This isn't advertised on Amazon's page, nor on other websites. It is in the user manual. Some applications may be very finicky, so do some research on your particular device before you buy.

Also in the manual was that this inverter will automatically shut off if the load is too much. It will source more than 200 watts for 10 seconds for start up applications (e.g. motors). The manual said it will draw

I have been very impressed with the quality of construction of this item so far. I have had a number of car mounts for PDAs and UMPCs in the past that were cheap plastic an did last very long. This is a well made item.

I probably could go as high as four stars for this. I work in construction and live in the northeast so mud and snow are common in my life. Its not winter yet but my first impression of these mats is that they are light weight. I assumed they would be made of a heavy rubber. Thats really my only complaint. They fit well , installed easily and will suit my needs. I though that for the price they would be made tougher.

I purchased these mats for my new 2011 Chevy Malibu. Mats fit real well, really keep the dirt and wet out. Very easy to install.

Wanted a three piece set & they only had a four piece set for my car. The problem was that the picture showed a three piece online & on the box itself. They called it a generic photo but nowhere online or on the box does it clarify this. Ordered it twice & got the same thing.

Husky Liners Custom Fit Second Seat Floor Liner for Select Nissan/Infiniti Models (Black)

Installed these in a 2008 Nissan Aramada. These have the same issue that the front liners have, namely Husky didn't do their homework. On the Armada the door sills are actually a little below the carpet level, so when you install these you are left with a raised edge that sticks up to catch the feet of anyone entering the truck. Add in the fact that the raised edge has these super sharped nubs (intended to keep them from sliding around) and you have the potential for some serious damage to kids feet. The Twee One has already caught her feet a couple of times getting into the truck. Seriously NOT RECOMMENDED for Armada owners. If you take a look at the stock photo real close (use the larger image) you can actually see the raised nubs sticking out.

I bought these after my brother got weather tech mats for his vehicle and they kind of slid around a little. Not these they stay put and do everything you would want them to do. I will be buying these for all my vehicles. A must have. Don't ruin your car floor mats !!!!

Thinking about buying another iPhone charger?

1) Be careful to buy one that actually works (seriously). Apple has proprietary tech that each manufacturer licenses allowing the charger to communicate with the phone. Some cheapos don't incorporate the tech and wind up not actually charging the phone (for example, see this: USB Cable + Wall Charger for Apple Iphone 3g Ipod Touch Nano )

2) This charger is built out of (comparatively) high-quality materials and can hold up to being shoved in luggage/backpacks/purses/whatever

3) The cable can be used just by itself (has a USB end that goes into the wall plug)

4) The plug is ridiculously ginormous. I guess that's why it swivels, so this big hog can fit in a power strip regardless of plug orientation. (I assume they saved money making it so unnecessarily big.)

5) The connector firmly connects to the apple device (again quality build)

6) iPhone chargers are pricey, this is one of the cheapest that is built well

7) This one is eligible for Amazon Prime shipping

This is the second one of these I'm buying, because of price/value/reliability. I have both nicer and cheaper ones. Despite it's faults, this one seems "just right". 1 star off because the plug is so big.

I bought this charger for my iPod touch 4. I needed a wall charger for our trip to Europe. It worked perfectly! It charges the iPod much faster than the USB. I'm not sure if the faster charge affects battery life, though. Anyway, with a European plug adapter this charger worked just as well with Europe's 110 volt power as it does here. As a bonus the USB cord that comes with it seems to be of an even better quality than the Apple cord.

This is an 1amp charger, so it's not for an iPad. I got it for my iPod touch 4G. The cable that came with it is thicker like the other viewers said, and unlike some other Belkin cables, this one can be used for both charge and sync. The cable is a bit longer than the original apple one too. Overall this appears to be well made and worth what you paid for. Will update review if I should find it different after some use.

I bought this charger for having the convenience of an extra charger. I plugged in my iphone and overnight, the iphone was damaged beyond repair. Trying to talk to a human Belkin representative was next to impossible. I was moved around from customer service to sales to the technical support guys and then back to customer service. Amazon representative tried to help but didn't do much either. Do not buy this charger.
