This car charger is seemingly functional in all the right ways. It is indeed compact. There is a convenient little red led to let you know that the charger has power. I was able to plug in two cell phones and they charged, just as expected.

However.... I have doubts about how long this charger will last. It is rather flimsy. I felt like it might break the first time I pulled it back out of my car's outlet. What really did bother me was that the adjustable swivel is very weak. Don't expect this charger to stay in the position you set it to. Because of this, the charger does not stay out of the way of my cup holder, which is the reason I wanted the adjustable swivel in the first place.

Very good price, but you certainly get what you pay for.

This is exactly what I was looking for! The sleek black design matches my iPhone 4 perfectly. I was concerned about the product being bulky and unable to fit in the small area where my cigarette lighter is, but this is the perfect size. It is not intrusive and it fits perfect into the cigarette lighter. I wanted to be able to charge my iPhone and iPod at the same time while traveling and this is perfect for both purposes. Seemed like a good deal at first. But after about a year of light use, the internal connector got loose so I get intermittent power. Oh well, it wasn't expensive and it did work for a while.

Blinc M2 Bluetooth Helmet Communication Module with FM Tuner

Basically, it does what it says. It just works. I have mine paired with my DroidX and use WinAmp for music. I have it mounted in/on a Scorpion EXO-1000 sublim helmet. Any problems I've had have been with the device it's paired with, not the M2 itself. As others have stated, the FM tuner doesn't lock onto stations very well, and the few it does, they fade out fast.

Volume is very good, even at high speeds. My advice if you have low volume is to turn the device up all the way, then adjust the volume with the buttons on the top/bottom of the M2.

To others who get this that don't use the helmet clip and actually stick this directly to the helmet as I did, if you have a problem with the clip not locking, take something with a pointy tip and use it to "clean out" the "channel" that the clip hooks over on the M2 itself. I almost lost mine on the highway. Cleaning that channel out made it lock back in w/out a problem.

Two minor complaints:

1 When you turn on the M2, there's a horrifically loud beep through the headphones. It's deafening, and VCan has confirmed there's no way to turn it off or down. My solution is to not pair the device or turn it off when I have the helmet on. :)

2 It has a proprietary charging connector, so make sure you bring the charger with you when you hit the road!! VCan please standardize the charge connector to Mini USB or something. It's awful to be stranded w/ no way to charge this or even go out and buy a charger!

EDIT (6/13/2012) some further advice:

1 Mount the device to the left side of your helmet unless you have cruise control.

2 if you use an android phone with this, when you pair a bluetooth audio device, sometimes the volume gets "stuck" at odd levels. The only way to correct that is to start playing a music track, then turn the phone Bluetooth audio all the way up, then all the way down, then set the listening volume to all the way up. In other words, sometimes the phone needs to know the high a low volume points. If you're doing it with the helmet on, make sure you turn the VCan device volume down first.

This little guy is SUPER easy to install and sounds great. the music from my phone is super loud. the radio is super loud. the phone in it... I couldn't believe it, even with the super loud pipes on my bike people can still understand me. it's crazy! I love this thing! Totally worth the money. On a side note, sometimes my phone locks up but I don't think it's related to the M2. It's one good reason to get the FM radio version. Just so you don't have to stop and check things.

Also, I should add that 31 days after I got it, the left side stopped working but Amazon shipped a new one overnight free of charge.

I saw the promo video and was impressed. I ordered two units and installed them on the helmets. One fit well without the adhesive. The other required the adhesive (which I didn't want to use). The sound from my MP3 was great and I was impressed. However, the communication between the two units is horrible. You have to max out the volume and you get an echo effect; if you can hear the other person at all.

Both of the units have a problem getting the plug from the microphone/speakers to stay properly plugged into the main unit. If they are not plugged in all of the way, the sound does not play for both ear speakers. It usually will only have sound in one unless you press and hold the plug into the main unit. In addition, the unit has a hard time staying place in the mounting device connected to the helmet. It comes out too easily. I have not checked other brands, but I was disappointed to find that it only has a 90 day warranty. I would expect the typical year as most products have. I would not buy these if I could do it over again.

I purchased this about 2 weeks ago and thought I'd write about my experiences. Overall the unit is good. 95% of the time it does exactly what i want it to. Installation was a breeze. Took about 5 mins on my Scorpion Exo. My friends PGR helmet took a little longer but mostly due to the helmet, not the device. It comes with a quick clip and a more permanent adhesive attachment. I chose the clip just so i have the option to take it off. With the adhesive is it still possible to remove the device for security reasons. Looks great on my flat black helmet.

Music sounds great, calls are so-so. I can hear the music decently at 65+mph without a windshield. Calls are great up until about 60+ then the wind drowns them out unless the caller is screaming. When receiving a call it doesnt let you know who is calling(minor inconvenience, sure some phones will allow this). The controls are ok. Changing songs and volume is easy, just wish the volume buttons were larger; hard to press with gloves on. I also wish the unit had a dedicated pause/play button. The instructions say to hold the main button for 2 secs to pause and hit it again to resume music. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. I've had it pause for a second and continue playing for no reason. I usually turn it on, then press play on my phone before riding.

The battery life is fairly good. I generally get a full day of music without having to recharge. It does drain my phones battery fairly quickly, but that's to be expected with Bluetooth.

I have not paired it with a GPS unit yet, just the one on my phone but my buddy has had good reviews from that.

Both units seem to randomly freeze, which is highly annoying. it will freeze on and not play anything or turn off. When this happens, you have to restart it with the little clip they give you or let the battery drain to empty. Doing the restart causes it to forget your phone which is annoying. I forgot my clip when I was out riding one day and had to let it drain (which took all day) and recharge it that night. This seems to be a constant issue with these, from what I've read on forums. So returning it for a new one seems to not be any help. To sum up:

I bought this to use with my Arduino projects and I can't believe that I had lived without it before. The readout display seems accurate and the unit itself, while light, does not feel shoddily made. I ended up using electric tape to fasten two Breadboard jumper wire 70pcs pack to the two electrodes for easy use.

I recommend this product to any Arduino enthusiast as it easily handles any of the Voltage/current requirements for any project I have come across. I plugged this into my laptop in my home so that I could hear my MP3s or an audiobook on A) the kitchen radio and B) my cheapo shower CD player radio. It works GREAT! I don't even have the volume cranked up much on my laptop not even 20% of 100% volume. Maybe around 15% or so. I think if you put the volume up too high on your device that it is transmitting from, then you will get more distortion at the receiving radio. Also, the instructions say, "Note: for best results, select a frequency that has the weakest or no signal from a radio station." I chose the last / highest one 107.9. Works like a charm!!! Yeah, it stinks that it uses 2 x AAA batteries instead of an AC adapter, but for just $16.00 and change, it is more than worth the purchase. Plus, rechargeable AAA's go for only $9 $10 for a 4-pack, so it's not like it's going to break anyone's bank.

Also, to transmit to my bathroom's shower radio, if I drew an imaginary line through the 3 walls, I would say it is about 17-20 feet away. To get to the kitchen, that is also going through at least 3 walls, and I'd say it's closer to 20-25 feet away. Pretty sweet! :)

One final note when I first plugged it into my laptop, I had it actually sitting ON my laptop just to see what would happen. I got a lot of static / loud hum from my kitchen radio. But the instant I took it OFF my laptop and set it a whopping TWO INCHES away, it worked perfectly. Just a hint for non-tech people who don't understand interference. Both my laptop screen AND my 26" widescreen external monitor were on, but some people with older monitors might want to turn theirs off to keep any possible hum and/or interference down.

I've had a car with a broken tape deck and sporadic power supply to the lighter outlet, so I have always needed a battery-powered FM transmitter for listening to my iPod in my car. This one is the cheapest one I've ever had and so far the best. The signal is strong. I recently drove from Minneapolis to Detroit and back and only had to mess around with changing the stations once each way--waaaaay better than any of my other transmitters (the Griffin iTrip was the worst). The sound quality is adequate, but not perfect. As other reviewers have said bass can get distorted. I remedy that by turning the volume on my iPod down and turning up the volume on my car stereo. Every once in a while there is extra static, but it's almost exclusively when there is someone in my passenger seat. It may just be a combo of my car's FM receiver and the TuneFree transmitter, but it's not a huge deal. Battery lasts much longer than I expect it to. The only other drawback is that the blue light is super bright. It's a good way to gauge how low the battery power is getting though--if it doesn't hurt to stare directly into the blue light, you should keep some spare batteries around. I give this 5 stars because it works better than most more expensive devices and the slight drawbacks are not that much of a problem, especially when considering the face that this is under $20. I will also add that the device feels very cheap and flimsy, but I have had mine floating around in my purse for over a year and it's still working as well as it did when I got it.

I replaced a $8 piece of junk(bought only a week ago) with this and I made a awesome choice... Connected this to my computer and I am rocking crystal clear songs from my stereo system. It transmits clear waves, static-free tunes. This is definitely a 5-star product and worth the money. This product comes with a 1-year warranty also. As mentioned by others, it has a very bright blue light and I am thinking this sucks most of your battery. I have not tested the battery life as yet. This is a very good FM transmitter. I always use to have static interference with my old plug-in transmitter. This one has not had any static problems and works flawlessly. You can take it anywhere and make use of its very good range. One time I used it to make my own radio station that my roommates could listen to on their radios.

Great transmitter basically, I'm keeping it although it has it's draw backs.

Cons:

Packaging feels kind of cheap.

No digital controls or display, frequency is selected using a a set of switches according to the combination.

No fancy electronics in there to condition the audio input. You have to pick a good volume for the audio you send to it: if it's too loud, it will saturate and beats start to sound bad, and if it's too low you will have to turn your radio receiver up, and you start to pick up hiss from FM.

I still love it.

I bought this cable thinking that it would give me some sort of increased functionality over the standard iPhone USB cable -it does not. In fact, I get less functionality with this cable. I'm not sure if that's due to the cable itself or the way the vehicle handles the AUX inputs when the cable is used, but this is what I found:

When I connect the Hyundai iPod Cable to my iPhone 4, the Santa Fe's screen says "AUX connected" and my iPhone says it's charging. I can then play music over the Santa Fe's speakers but I need to use the phone to control everything -I can't select songs via the Santa Fe's music controls. I also can't pause or skip tracks.

If I use the standard, white iPhone USB cable I get much more functionality. The Santa Fe's screen shows me all of the album info (including album art) and allows me to play/pause/skip tracks. This also holds true if I'm playing Pandora on my phone.

In short, the cable that comes with your iPod/iPhone gives you MUCH more functionality than the Hyundai iPod Cable -don't waste your money on it.

The quality of the materials in the kit is great. The fuse holders and terminals are cromed nicely and were easy to install and connect. The only drawback to this kit is the length power cables included. If you are using this kit to install dual amps plan to supply extra cables.

Product works just fine, in that it charges my batteries, which it is supposed to do. I'll be honest, I have not tried the car adapter, and what with not being in the EU, I have not tried that one either. The only thing is that the wall adapter goes from a totally normal orange-ish light to kind of freaking out and flickering frantically back and forth between green and orange once the battery is charged. But maybe that's just something about my battery. Anyway, that indicates it's charged, and it works fine, so it's all good. (I'd probably give it four and a half stars if I could, because the flickering's a little weird, but since it doesn't affect its functionality, I'll go with five.)

At first, the red light charging indicator did not work in my car even though battery was getting charged. I thought the problem was with the indicator. But when powered on wall socket, the red light appeared. Then after subsequent uses, it started working properly in the car too. Could have given 4.5 but now that I don't have any problems with it, I will give a 5.

Frankly, these floor mats are absolutely underwhelming.

Was expecting a heavy-duty, rubberized mat capable of standing up to cold weather and rough use in my 2012 Econoline. Instead, the mats are plastic and very thin. Not sure they will make it through the upcoming autumn rains and winter snow.

Even though the description says it only fits Econolines up to 2005, it does in fact fit my 2006 E-350 Perfectly.

It fits like a glove, moulded perfecty to completely cover the Driver and Passenger area. These keep the dirt and grim off my cloth interior. They have a edge aound it so if its raining the water off my boots wont run all over the place.

When its time to clean them, I just pull them out and hose them down. Its that easy :)

These are so good I am ordering another set for my 2006 E-250.

I had purchased 3 of these to have as bach ups. Well one out of the 3 works.. The other two fell apart the minute I plugged them into my phone. In fact a piece of the end stuck in my phone and I had to use tweezers to get it out.. JUNK !!!

This car charger fell apart the second time I used it. The end that plugs into the phone broke in half while trying to disconnect it from the phone. It is truly a piece of junk. I guess you get what you pay for. My mistake.

Samsung ECS-K1F8BEGSTA Verizon Galaxy Nexus Car Mount Kit - Retail Packaging - Black

This is the US model (ECS-K1F8BEGSTA) and does not have 3 pins, nor does it have connectors on the base so you can leave your dock plugged into the audio and power ports.

Do not buy this model unless it's updated in place with the correct version. (Search Amazon for a similar model, ECS-K1F2BEGSTD, which is advertised as for the Nexus S, and has similar complaints but those seem to have been resolved. I'm not sure if ECS-K1F2BEGSTD works for Galaxy Nexus but if so, that would be the one to buy.)

It is NOT a real navigation mode car dock -in other words, there are not three metal pins on the inside of the plastic holder, which would initiate "car mode" -so this will not work as described. It does NOT put your Galaxy Nexus into navigation / car mode upon plugging it in.

What's worse, the connectors for audio and power have to be plugged directly in to the phone and CANNOT be left plugged into the base of the dock, which thereby makes it NOT A DOCK, either. (A "dock" is something you plug your device into without having to plug in the cables and connectors as well. This is a holder, not a dock.)

I got this dock from Verizon when I bought my Galaxy Nexus on release day. What a piece of garbage. Does not have the 3 pin connector. Tell me, why would I buy this overpriced hunk of junk when I could get a generic mount for a lower price that actually leaves space for you to plug into it?

Avoid at all costs.

This mount does not have the 3 pins to make it a true car dock. It will not charge your phone, or will it do audio passthrough like the GSM version does!@!!!

I came from the Droid X and an easy dock to use and had power in the dock. This dock is hard to use, I have to force the phone in and even harder to remove from the dock, sometimes dropping the phone in the car. Then the external power cable has to be connected to the phone in the dock. The Galaxy Nexus has three pins to charge the phone but this dock does not have this capability, the European version does. I have the VW Jetta that has a long reach to the windshield, so it is a long reach to work with the phone. It also is not very adjustable to angle the phone to remove light glare on the phone screen. Overall this is a cumbersome, hard to use dock with out power. I mount it to a bean bag I have for the Garmin.

This is the worst design for a car mount that I could possibly ever imagine. It is semi-hard rubber product, and it is EXTREMELY difficult to get the phone in and out of it -it puts a Death Grip on the phone, 360 degrees around all edges. Is that REALLY NECESSARY?!?!?! REALLY!?!?!?! My Nexus is not a hardened criminal convict that will do anything to escape the clutches of a car mount! It's just a phone! I shouldn't need both hands and a whole squad of Chuck Norrises to extract my phone from its car mount!

Also, rather than just have cut-outs for the volume and power buttons, they made a rubber "skin" to cover the buttons. It works OK but WHY!?!?!?! Also, the cut-outs for the micro-usb power and 3.5mm jacks are WAY TOO SMALL and do not allow most cables to be used. The power adapter that comes with it has a tiny little narrow plug, so that's OK, but TOUGH LUCK if you want to use any other normal micro-usb charger.

Samsung, you should be ashamed of yourself. This thing is a piece of garbage.

After major surgery with a Dremel tool to extract 80% of the unnecessary death-grip edging, I finally have a butchered product that I only need one hand to insert or extract my phone. Hooray indeed.

Odyssey 35-PC1400T Automotive and LTV Battery

This battery became weak after two years (to the month). I had a local auto parts store check it and it tested defective, so I had no choice but to purchase another battery to keep going. I also asked the store to charge and test the Odyssey and let me know what they found. They determined it would not charge past 83% and was defective.

I called Amazon. It's hazardous material and can't be returned to them. They gave me the phone number to call at Odyssey. I called Odyssey and they explained that since I didn't purchase the battery through a dealer that no dealer was under obligation to replace it. They said I had to go through the manufacturer (EnerSys) to get it replaced.

I called EnerSys and was directed to their customer service dept. I had to leave a message. I called again the next day and finally contacted the one and only person who could help. They explained that since I didn't purchase the battery through a dealer they would have to find one that would work with me and get back with me. No one called me back so I called again and they let me know they had a local dealer that would look at the failed battery, test it, and see what could be done. I then contacted that local dealer, delivered the Odyssey battery and they tested it for a day or so. Then the local dealer called me and let me know that they had determined that the battery was indeed defective and they would order a replacement. The replacement arrived in a couple of days, and I picked it up.

I thought listing all these steps might be helpul for those considering ordering this product. I still have faith in the battery. Everyone I speak to about this product says it is the best. I'm hoping I just got a bad one...

just bought it 5 months ago, everything was fine until i went to a lil vacation for 2 weeks, when i came back the battery was dead, charged the battery with a battery charger and just hold a charge to light up the gauge-face, tried to charge it with a friend's car and no result, amazon dont accept exchage because its a "hazardous item" and must be returned to a local odyssey dealer, but the nearest dealer is 100 miles from where i live :(

Custom Accesssories CU72226 Stick on Round Clock

The buttons on the clock intermitently function. It takes many attempts to set it. After you set it and you press a button to read date it resets to 12:00 and you need to start all over again.

Setting the clock is nonstandard and not intuitive. Clock has repeatedly changed settings spontaneously and sometimes had to be coaxed back to showing the time.

No complaints nothing special It's just a little plastic clock with a piece of velcro on the back. I bought it to mount on the front fork of my motorcycle so I could check the time while riding to and from work. It's working great so far. Made in China, but the instructions for setting the time were clear. The clock shipped with a piece of plastic blocking the battery contact inside, so the battery should be relatively fresh.

Note: I bought something similar to stick on the dash of my car a few years back when the clock on my radio quit working. That was a problem in TN on hot sunny days the inside of the car would get too warm and the velcro would fall off the dashboard (adhesive got too warm and slid off).

I bought it for my scooter and it fits great. It's the perfect size, but the only problem is the clock doesn't light up at night when riding.
