I am using this as a utility winch on my car trailer. People kept telling me I needed a larger winch, but this one has done pretty well. It will not drag a car up onto the trailer if it had no wheels, but I have pulled cars with 4 flat tires. I used it last week to drag a car side ways so I could get it lined up with the trailer. Very happy with this unit! The only thing that would make it better would be a longer cable for the switch. I would like to be able to reach the back of the trailer with it in my hand.

I bought this winch for my car hauler based on some other reviews here. Reviews were right on the money. Its not the fanciest winch, but cant beat it for the money. It is powerful enough to pull a car w/ 4 flat tires on to the hauler.....just barely. The remote switch is easy to use and install and I didnt have any problems with the line. My only complaint would be a better spring to prevent backlash when freespooling, but easy enough to straighten out.

This product met my needs. It's ideal for pulling a rolling load up to 3500 pounds onto a trailer, or up a 17% driveway. I used it to pull a boat weighing 3500lbs up 23 foot 17% grade drive way. Its works great!

First of all, I bought this to be a trailer winch to pull a race car onto a trailer. For $100-150, there is nothing that compares to this winch. The only other winches in this price range are ATV winches that aren't strong enough to pull a car onto a trailer. Still, this winch isn't "high quality" either there is a reason it is so cheap. This isn't comparable to a $400 winch. This winch is very capable of pulling a 3500lb car onto a trailer, but here are the downsides:

1. It struggles the entire time if you load this motor for 40ft without giving it a break in between, especially on a hot day, you will probably burn up the motor after only a few uses.

2. It moves slow under load. It might be rated for 8ft/min without load, but it will drop quite a bit when you are pulling a car up a trailer.

The solution is a pulley block (and no, it doesn't really pull that much slower if at all with a pulley block because the motor isn't straining nearly as much). Combine this winch with a $25 pulley block, and it will do the job and do it reliably without sounding like the motor is going to burst into flames at any moment. The only real downside to using a pulley block is the fact that you are only able to use half the line length, or in this case 20 ft. My trailer plus ramps are 20ft, so if my car is further away than that, I have to pull the car up to the ramps without the pulley block, then switch.

So ultimately, if money isn't a concern, go with a $400 winch. But if you want to do this the least expensive way, you can make this winch work (contrary to what people on forums will tell you), and you will save a bundle of money.

Actually, Life just got better. This OEM part really was better than anticipated. I didn't know it placing the phone in the cradle activated Car Mode. That was pretty cool. However, a recent Verizon 'no-choice' update to the phone base software resulted ina delay of about 30 seconds for the Car Mode to kick-in. But Life if still Good.

I was looking for a way to keep my phone handy when driving. I use a bluetooth for hands free talk while driving but I struggled to find a way to make it easy to interac t with the phone while on the move. This vehicle power cord is for the Oregon and Colorado models. I got it for my Oregon 400T. It is fine except for the 90 degree angle of the plugin to the GPS. When plugged in to the GPS the cord faces forward toward you, so the cord is in front (at the bottom) of the GPS when you are using it. Why didn't Garmin make a straight connector so the cord points down, or a 90 degree plug that positions the cord to the rear of the GPS? Do they know something I don't? Maybe a car mount device requires it this way, or, as with the carry case they supply (read my review), the power cord was designed for the Colorado model and just applied to the Oregon model. The power cord is over 5 feet long.

Great vehicle power cable. The 90 degree front facing plug-in allow the cable to be used in the Garmin Marine Mount. If you have that mount, it makes perfect sense. I use this with my Oregon 400t with LakeMaster Lake Maps installed on it. I have the Garmin Marine Mount on my fishing boat and use the power cable to plug the Oregon into an auxilary power plug in my boat. When combined with the aforementioned, it turns my Oregon 400t into a great GPS for fishing and marine use. Tested under field condtions and works flawlessly. I'd highly recommend this power cable!

So for the cash you won't be disappointed with what you get. This kit offers more than most do at an increased price. Now although it is not solid copper and is not quite 1/0 AWG more like 2/0AWG it is however as they say good enough for government work. It has served me well in powering a 4000/1 watt and a 1600/4 watt amps both in the Stax family of amps by Power Acoustik. I liked that the wire was very flexible and easy to strip and install of course once you get it past the fire wall and pull up the carpet. I just wished it came with a wire protector for the firewall but other than that. OH and don't forget to pick up 2 ANL fuses for the distribution block. And now let the current flow! Alright, so this is a pretty decent package. the wire itself isn't that great, if you're looking for 0awg because you need to power a super sick fatty system then get some better wire than this. That being said, it powers my 1700watt RMS D class mono amp and my 1600 peak 4 channel speaker amp just fine. The wire isn't pure copper so you won't get the most power possible out of it but for the system I've got there have been no problems. On the plus the fused distribution block is reallllllly nice. That part alone runs for $30-40 depending where you shop, and the ground distribution block is also sweet which would run you about $20 alone. So really, you're getting the wire, ANL fuse and fuse holder (which is also poor quality) for like 10 bucks. All in all you get a sweet set up for the price, but highly NOT recommended to those who want to upgrade to a super powerful high quality system, other than that this is the way to go!

I bought this kit in November. I thought for the price the wires were a descent deal however, my kit was missing pieces from the battery terminal that made it useless. I had already run and cut the cables so I couldn't just repackage it and sent it back to amazon for a replacement so I tried to call the company (DB LINK) and they were nice but said they couldnt send me just the terminal, I asked if I could just buy it? Nope, send it back to amazon for a new one...Urrrghhhh! So I paid for the wires and a distribution block... bummer.

The price of $68 is a good deal for what it comes with. I have no clue how large 0 gauge is supposed to be so I can't comment on it like other reviews.

I will give all the negatives even though they are not that serious at all and will not prevent me from a future purchase. With that said, the battery terminal will not work unless you add a midi fuse but I can't find one at 250 amps so I bypassed it with some custom made parts.

The included fuse holder that takes an ANL fuse but is kind of cheaply made. I had to tape the sides to keep the top from opening.

The fuse seats on the fused distribution block were slightly smaller than the fuses that I put in so to tighten them down, it bent the metal parts on the fuses slightly.

Some of the Allen wrench screws of the same size wire had different sizes.

If you add a capacitor, you will most likely need 2 more ring connectors.

All in all, I thought that this was a great buy and I highly recommend it.

The wire is really nice, it does not break when you bend it and is extremly flexiable for its size. I looked at this kit because of its price, for $65 it is well worth the money. I'm not for sure if it is a true 0 gauge wire or not, but it is defentially 2 or maybe even 1 gauge. It came as advertised and with all of the accessories of very nice sturdy quality. Will consider DB Link products for sure in future builds.

Lisle 11120 Battery Brush

The side for the battery post works great. The bristle side crushed downward after cleaning one set of connectors, similar to what a wire brush looks like when it's been used for a really long time. I twisted the bristles in both directions and saw no difference. I took a wire brush and brushed the bristles back to their original position. Besides that, it's a pretty good product.

Note: Don't turn the post cleaning side counterclockwise, it will not work and may break.

The only battery brush i could find that was made in America. It cost more but its worth it and has outlasted all the other

junk brushes I have found at the local hardware stores and auto parts places. It doesn't cost much more so I don't understand

why these brushes are so hard to find.

I love buying products made in the USA and this one is, so that gets points right away, but the plastic body is fairly cheaply molded. But in my experience these brushes don't really last forever anyway. The good news is that this is a little tool WELL worth owning, I noticed when I took my battery terminals off, my + was very corroded underneath so I was happy to have cleaned them both up for the winter, then I sprayed the terminals with marine corrosion block. If you are buying a brush buy this one over the cheap import and at least you are showing extra support for the USA

Jabra Cruiser Bluetooth Car Kit, Speakerphone-Bulk Packaged

The product worked as advertised. I was able to set it up in seconds for the blue tooth option. since I don't use the FM radio in my van I did not set up the FM transmitter. I can hear other people just fine and I have not heard anyone say they can't hear me or ask me to repeat myself. Only 1 little glitch after a month of using it. It did disconnect and reconnect once but I think i passed someone else using the same frequency which caused it. The price here was 20% cheaper that Best Buy and it was delivered free. I would recommend this product to all of my friends.

I've been through my share of Bluetooth (BT) headsets so when I found this I was really hoping that the reviews were going to be good and at least 1/2 true. I was and still am blown away with how well this BT Speaker phone works in the car with two different phones. It has an amazing enough battery life the issue ends up being where you put the charger because it doesn't need to be charged very often. Also, the BT connection to my iPhone and then the re-broadcast to the car stereo has been great. A few times when going on a trip or putting the speaker in a rental I've had to switch stations but that was due to local radio stations bleeding through. Only negative that I have on this device is that once it starts talking about a low battery you may as well shut it off because there is no mute, the female voice will say low battery every few minutes until it dies but that is not very often. Great Product, been really happy with it.

I bought the Jabra Cruiser 2 on the recommendation of my friend who owned this version. I was so impressed by the Jabra Cruiser 1 that I figured they couldn't mess things up by improving on the 2. I was poorly mistaken: there are less functions from a bluetooth audio player (AD2P) that the Cruiser 1 had and the quality of the FM transmitter was terrible. The Cruiser 1, on the other hand, seemed flawless and is a much more compact bluetooth receiver. The call quality and the speaker quality are good (haven't really reported any "can't hear you" responses") but the thing I love about this is that it doubles as an FM transmitter for my iPhone (or any bluetooth AD2P capable device). The quality is better than most dedicated FM transmitters I've used in the past (griffin, belkin, you name it) and being able to listen to your calls through your car speakers is much better than through a receiver, especially when you're driving on the highway with all the road noise your car produces. The music portion (AD2P) is my favorite because it offers a play skip reverse set of buttons on this receiver, so no need to look at your phone/player if you want to skip the song or what-not while driving. It helps that they give you an "auto-search" ability, by pressing the volume up button for 5 seconds. And it even auto-shuts off after a period of inactive use, to preserve battery. I LOVE this device

HIGHLY recommend. It's too bad these devices are hard to come by locally.. I hate the 2nd gen. one but I can't return it because i lost the receipt, otherwise I'd pick up ANOTHER cruiser 1 (i already have 2 in my house hold!)

Was very excited to get this unit. Setup was a breeze, and was simply to use. Sound quality thru the car stereo was surprisingly good. Only drawback with FM transmitter was wouldn't tune below 88.1, which most units I have used can which is where all the unused US frequencies are (in other word clear channels so you aren't constantly retuning the channel).

Unfortunately 3 days into using it, the FM transmitter button wouldn't consistently turn the transmitter on or off which is the reason I bought this unit over others. Returned for refund and am shopping for something else.

I used it to create back-up for my basement sump pumps (3 pumps with 30Amps total power). Connected with 3 110 Ah Farm and fleet deep cycle batteries. This product worked great but it is important to note that many newer cars don't supply power to the 12V outlet unless the car is in accessory mode. To do so, turn the key until only the radio turns on. Then, while leaving the key turned, turn the radio off (using the power button on the radio). Also turn off all headlights, dome lights, etc... You don't want any of these things taking power away from the ECM and radio preset memory.

If you aren't sure if your car has this issue, try plugging in something like a phone charger and see if it supplies power to the phone while the key is off.

I had a 2004 Lexus GX470 that needed a battery. I purchased a new battery at BJs but they do not install, so that task fell on me. I was concerned about losing the codes on the radio, etc with a battery swap. This little device got me through the job nicely. No lost codes.

I bought this doo-dad so I could charge my Plantronics 510 blue tooth earpiece in my car. The added bonus is that with the two USB ports I can now charge my phone and earpiece at the same time. The only real price for that is that this unit is a bit bulky compared to my prvious car-phone charger; it certainly makes for a longer plug. The blue LED light on the unit is a bit bright at night on dark roads out in the sticks, but it really hasn't been much of a problem. USB adapter cables for various devices are dirt cheap so this way you don't have to buy a new car charger every time you change devices. You can also charge Ipods and other similar devices without needing 110V power. I may get a second one for the second vehicle.
