Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe With Do-It-Yourself Programming

This was not the remote for my Tahoe, however it was a GM remote and still worked, I am not downgrading it for that, as it warns of that in the description. Why I am downgrading this, the instructions were completely useless, basically telling me to use a website. That website did not have the instructions for my Tahoe. Fortunately, thanks to the internet and its wonderful search capabilities, I did get it to work. However, once it worked, the batteries that came with it were so weak I had to unlock my Tahoe from close enough to touch it. Once I bought new batteries, I got a little bit more range, but it still only works within about 15 paces from my Tahoe. Overall though, I fear I did get what I paid for, because this price is outrageously low.

Would still consider buying again because of the price.

7" Red Police Beacon Light

Not a whole lot to say about this product for the time being, especially considering I just received the product today, however it appears to be made of good quality material and does its job as advertised. Unfortunately it does rotate faster than my blue beacon light but it is of a different brand so its not the lights fault. It also comes with a sturdy hanging wire for upside down mounting. The motor seems to be more quiet than my other beacon so all in all great purchase for the price.

This item worked as expected. I used it for a special effects and it did fine. It's inexpensive, plastic and about what you would expect for such a low price.

This light is really good especially for the price! I just wish that the bulb did not have a 2 hour duty cycle because I forgot about that and it blew out, oh well. The only other con is that over time I started to hear a sound when it rotated but some music will cover that up with ease

I bought 3 of these blankets as Christmas gifts and one for myself as we live in a very cold climate. All three stopped working within 6 weeks and even when they did work they did not heat up very fast and were not very warm once they did. Not sure what the malfunction is but these were definitely not worth the money.

Used the blanket in the car Christmas day for about 1.5 hours. Plugged it in New Years Eve, no longer works. Checked the fuse, ok. Checked the outlet, ok. Blanket just died. Thanks to Amazon for good return policies.

I ordered this from amazon on Black Friday, 2009. After several attempts in different cars, I've returned it. It just does not heat! At best, by the time we reach my son's school, which is a 10 minute drive, it feels room temperature...probably because by that time the car's heater has warmed it up to the touch.

Not only does it not work as it should, the quality is very disappointing. Imagine two thin pieces of fleece covering wires, which are plainly felt when the blanket is over/under you.

I'm happy a few people have been happy with the performance of this blanket, but sadly, I am not one of them. If you decide to order this, be sure to test it out immediately so you will be able to return it to amazon within their return time frame if it doesn't work.

The RoadPro 58" travel blanket is a nice luxury riding in cold climates. The blanket is very soft and quite warm even when it is not plugged in. Once the blanket is turned on it provides a nice warmth throughout -without any noticeable hot spots. In general the blanket can provide warmth without feeling too "hot".

Areas that we enjoy-

Takes about 5 minutes to achieve maximum warmth.

Areas for improvement

While the blue fabric is a slip-cover it can not be removed. It would be great if it could be machine washed since the blanket will often exposed to snow/slush/salt from the your shoes.

One temperature the heating elements are not adjustable

If you leave the travel blanket plugged in when the engine is off IT WILL DRAIN YOUR BATTERY! Be very careful, especially since car batteries are already less efficient in cold weather.

No plug in for home use the travel blanket can only be plugged into a 12V DC plug. There are ways that you can get around this but they do not come standard with the travel blanket.

Looking at the review it appears that there are many more negatives than positives, however the negatives are relatively minor. The final verdict is that it is soft and works very well to help keep you warm.

This is a great radio for GMRS. All you have to do is contact Motorola and send them your frequency list and your license and they will send you the code plug. Buy the programming cable and download the free software from their website. You can set this radio up to use GMRS repeaters. Once you load the radio with your frequencies you can change the PL Codes from the front radio just like a bubblepack radio so you can use differnt repeaters that use the same frequency pair. Or you can just do it all from the software. The speaker is supper loud and clear for its size. Even if you turn it up all the way it's still clear. I was very impressed with its clarity. The mic is clear also and can be adjusted to three differnt mic gain levels. You can switch from repeater to direct easily by programming one of the buttons on the radio to do that. I ordered this product for emergency purposes for our family.

Unfortunately, after multiple calls with Motorola and the FCC, the FCC says that this radio can only be used with a business license, and for business purposes. That means it's a complete no go for personal use (even if you are a business).

The FCC also noted that the information in the Motorola manual was incorrect wrt licensing: You cannot apply directly for a license, but instead need to work through an aggregator to purchase a license.

I paid less than $1 plus shipping for this charger for my Philips GoGear MP3 player. I tried it and it worked fine. Put it in the wall socket connected it to the MP3 player and went to bed. A small led red light lights up on the charger while charging. Next morning MP3 player fully charged.

Now I don't have to plug my MP3 player into my laptop for the MP3 player to be charged.I take the charger to work. If the MP3 player charge getting low I just plug the charger and the MP3 player in.

I bought this thinking I would save some money because Lexus wants around $70 for this key. The key only cost me about $7 and Lexus charged me $25 to cut the key to fit my ignition. The problem is after about a week I took the key out of my pocket and there was a chip of plastic broken off from around the screw. The key hasn't completely broken away from the plastic but with this compromised structural integrity, it's probably just a matter of time. Even if they refund the money or give me a replacement, I will still have to pay Lexus to cut the key again. If I had it to do again, I would just give Lexus the 68 bucks or so because then I would be able to complain to them and probably they would replace it free of charge.

The standard Lexus keybody is weak and eventually breaks. A dealer replacement is over $100.00 (key + cutting). Save yourself time and money. Buy 2 bodies, get them cut by your local locksmith or at the dealer and gain the piece of mind knowing you're covered when the inevitable break happens.

The communicators work great and do all they are supposed to. They are clear, loud, and have lots of distance. Easy to setup and operate also. On the down side, While they are weatherproof, The rubber outer covering does not do well with the sun beating on it while parked, it has a tendency to lift and seperate and gets sticky.. Also, the manual compression mount for the helmet keeps the plug in the communicator rubbing your jacket collar and damages the fit of the plug causing it to flex and get loose and damage the circuit board.. I have replaced both communicators due to this problem within the first year and have since moved them up the helmet with the sticky mount. That seems to have cured the plug problem. Other then these two issues, I'm very happy with them..

This product works very well, I would recommend them for every rider carrying a passenger. No yelling to hear each other, a much safer ride.

What a lifesaver!!! I cautiously bought this after reading reviews, and I am happy to say that it worked without fail for 3,800 miles round trip. We averaged 9 hours a day in the car. We didn't have a single issue. The video and audio on both screens were great. I love that it has memory so we don't have to restart the movie each time we stopped. My 5 year old son quickly learned how to use the player, so I only had to reach around to change out the discs. My husband installed the player quickly and easily.

I was looking for a new DVD player that my kid could use both in and out of the car.

So what I wanted in a new portable DVD player: 1. A player does not have button on the front so my kid can't touch the buttons. 2. A sturdy car mount. 3. Memory, so it'd pick up where the DVD left off.

There are a couple other players out there that could also work, but I chose this one because of the car mount. I am very pro-car safety and don't want a DVD player to go flying off in an accident and end up killing my child. I also liked the quick-release feature, as I don't want to leave the player sitting out in my car for someone to steal. The mount for this works perfectly in my Prius; it's made of plastic and connects around the headrest poles using 4 screws. The piece that actually holds the player can be removed, leaving the horizontal mount attached to the headrest so you can just pop the holding piece with the player right back on.

Very simple, but a thousand times better than players with just velcro straps that force you to remove the whole shebang to hide the player.

In addition, the mount is the first of its kind. Instead of tying straps around seat headrests, you unscrew a clamp-style thing and attach it to the bars of the headrest.

I purchased a Nextbase Click9 Duo about a year ago. I absolutely loved the units and the flexibility they provided for my family. The units performed great until about 3 months ago (8 months of ownership and very light use). Now, neither unit functions properly, each with it's own problem. At that time I was still within the factory warranty period. I sent an email to Nextbase USA regarding the matter with no response. I also tried calling the customer support number only to reach a generic voicemail box. I left a message and, again, received no reply. I continued to reach someone through those two means for about a month with not one response. I then attempted to contact Nextbase USA through their Amazon and eBay stores. I did receive a very slow response from the eBay store requesting more information as well as when and where I bought the item from (which happened to be from the eBay store). I provided the requested information and a week later I was told I need to contact customer support using the Nextbase USA website. I explained that I have tried to do so for nearly two months (at that point) and received no response. From that point on I have not been able to get in contact with the eBay store either.

I bought these units with the hope that a more expensive unit would last longer than the cheaper units I've owned in the past. I got about the some life out of these units, for three times the price, and half the customer service of any other unit on the market. STAY AWAY FROM NEXTBASE! NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY!

I ordered this switch at 11pm, and got it two days later! Quick! Build quality is excellent and very robust.

This is a great way to connect two batteries without fear of draining your starting battery.

I am using it in my boat. Put the switch on one of the terminals on the second battery (this battery should also be connected to all peripheral electronics, like the radio, lights, cigarette lighter, etc). Turn it off when you are relaxing with the engine off, if the secondary battery is depleted, your main starting battery is unaffected. Flip the switch on when the engine is running and the alternator will charge the second battery! Also, if your primary battery is a dud, turn the switch on and start the boat with the secondary battery.

I purchased and wasted my Money on many other types of Battery Disconnect switches but none worked on my Dual Battery equipped 2012 Silverado 3500HD. General Motors did not provide any space around Battery terminals that would accept any other cut-off switch only their own supplied terminal assembly. I was able to modify the Wirthco 20108 Knife-Blade T-4 Battery Disconnect Switches to overcome this space problem. One I installed on the drivers side in a horizontal switch actuation plane, the other had to be modified at the contact blade to open the switch without using the full stroke. Worked out Great.

Installed this last week and I am very happy. These type of battery disconnects are becoming increasingly rare and for some reason are getting more and more expensive. I did a TON of research and this is the least expensive one I could find. It's a good product and does the job well.

Swift Hitch SH02 Portable Wireless Camera System

I've only used this twice so far and both times it has proven to be a real treat to have, as I didn't need the wife's help to get our trailer hooked up to the truck. I was able to back up and stop in the perfect spot the very first time. No more in and out, in and out, move an inch to the left, no the other left and so on. Anybody that has a trailer knows exactly what I'm saying. It was easy to charge both units, easy to set up and very easy to use. The magnet works great and I know I'll use the suction cups on the back of our trailer sooner or later. My only bit of disapointment was trying to see the screen when it is really sunny outside, as the brightness seems to make the actual picture very, very light gray and tough to see the screen clearly. I've not yet used it in the dark, but I'm sure it will be great there. I'm really glad I went with the SH02 model rather than the SH01, as the carry case with the foam protection around each piece is great, with all the charging cords and everything needed to use this set-up was in there, also I wanted the suction cup set-up as well. In my opinion, it was a good deal for the price!

PLEASE READ THE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS ATTACHED TO THIS REVIEW, BEYOND MY ORIGINAL POSTING.

We bought the kit that included the suction cups which are needed for vehicles with fiberglass hatches, tail gates, etc. The suction cups are connected to a triangle metal plate which substitutes a metal plate for the camera unit to stick to. The suction cup adapter fell off the glass window of a Tahoe. We then wet the suction cups with basically the same result. The magnetic base camera unit has a tendency to slide on all metal surfaces that I tried. This is not good.... The actual magnet in the base of the unit is recessed ever so slightly so that actual metal to magnet contact is not achieved. The magnetic "force" causes some magnetic field to hold it in place but the vibrations from backing up the car cause it to slide. In other words, the magnet is not strong enough to hold it in place. I called the manufacturing company and they had no helpful suggestions. I am going to try and remove the magnet and install a thin spacer to raise the actual magnet above the camera's metal base. That way, the actual magnet should make contact with a metal surface. The recession in the base is very minimal, but just enough to weaken the sticking power of the magnet. I am not exactly sure how I am going to fix the suction cup issue.

This item is a nice piece of kit but has 2 important drawbacks: its very difficult to see the screen in the typical bright sunlight that many times I have to hitch; and the screen is too small to see dark detail. Part of the problem is that if the hitch itself is in shadow, the camera light sensor darkens the image to compensate for the area its receiving thus making the ball or the bar (Hensley hitch)impossible to discern. You can adjust the camera view but there are just so many places on which you can mount the camera that will also accommodate a sight angle that eliminates bright areas so that the hitch is viewable.

The camera works well and my husband hitched the boat by himself on the first try.

He also uses the camera when he works on the car. In the past, he would use a flashlight and a mirror to look for items he couln't see under the hood. Now he uses the camera and can also do this at night since the camera operates well in the dark. The camera is used to look up into the fireplace, under the house, in the attic and for lost toys under the bed and couches.I recomend this to everyone.
