Overall the things work, but the charger cable is too short. I literally have to place the tablet on the floor, close to the mains to charge it.

I contacted the company(Arcos) and was provided a different code that I attempted to use, it too was corrupted. I again contacted the company and the person assisting me tried to input three codes, while on the phone, to ensure that I would recieve a valid operating code, all three failed with the same "corrupted code" message. I was then told that a manager had already spoken to the French Headquarters and assured that a code would be forthcoming. That was four weeks ago. If one is looking to use this device as a DVR or wishes to be able to record video this is NOT the product for you. This experience also illustrates the poor customer service that was recieved. Beware!!!

Wix 24477 Cabin Air Filter for select Ford/Mercury models, Pack of 1

While this air filter is used in some cars as a cabin air filter, in the 2007 Ford Escape hybrid it is used as the air filter for the hybrid battery (in the back of the car). While you could drop by your Ford dealer and pick up the same part (5M6H-19N619-AD) for twice the price, this Wix filter is of top quality and a perfect fit. Just as good as the excellent Ford part. [The complex hybrid battery has it's own heat/cool system.]

BTW, in the hybrid this filter should be changed every 25,000 miles or so. I waited 50,000 miles but by then the original was filthy and that tends to trip the Ford hybrid service-soon idiot light (a wrench). You can change the filter without tools. It is under a plastic cover on the left side of the trunk. The Wix filter includes air-flow markings, making it easy to install.

If you have an Escape Hybrid this is the battery Air Filter. Most people never change this filter however it is extremely important as it's what keeps the hybrid battery cool in this filter can get clogged weight easily. It's an inexpensive replacement that will extend the life of your hybrid vehicle. It can be changed in about 30 seconds. I change this about every 10,000 miles a lot cheaper than replacing expensive hybrid batteries that overheat.

Why 4 stars instead of 5? The box. It is HUGE for the size of the air filter.

Other than that, it fits great into the rear battery A/C filter housing on my 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid. It does have a screen-printed set of arrows, telling you which way to position for correct filter flow which is a nice touch. The motorcraft filter I had didn't even label that.

Used this for a 2008 Escape Hybrid and it fit perfectly. This goes in the rear cargo area to filter air used to cool the hybrid components; very important job! It is at least as high quality as the OEM filter, maybe better. At half the price of what the dealer charges you cannot lose. Buy at least enough to get free shipping and save even more.

it serves the purpose, but the cord isnt long enough to reach from where i want my gps to hang from my windshield, so it not in my veiw while driving. i wished i knew how long it was before i purchased it. now i'll have to purchase a charger again and dang spend more money for longer charging cord. not to happy on length.

I am no car stereo enthusiast or expert, but I know enough to say that this is a very reasonable price and a good performing capacitor. Easy to install, comes with screws (4) for mounting. I would recommend getting some large ring terminals for your wires. I measured the posts @ 9/16", so not sure what the closest size it. I got some that were a bit too small and filed them down. Let me say, don't be fooled by somebodies typo in the title of this product. It is not for a Ford RAM 1500. MOPAR! It's for the Dodge RAM 1500. I have a 2006 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT 4X4 and these fit my truck perfectly! Out of the box, you'll notice that they're a somewhat stiff product. You'll have to bend them a little to get them under the pedals. Once in though, you'll see that they rise up on all four sides to easily retain any mud or water you may bring n on your boots. The front goes well up behind the pedals, the back rises up to fit snug against the rise in the floorpan where the seat mounts and the sides run tight up against the drivetrain center hump and the door scuff plate. It also has a circular rise that slides down right over the factory "hook" that holds the original floor mat except it's not a hole but a closed nipple so no worries about leaks from that area. Finally the in difference to my factory mat which started sliding around every time I got in or out of the truck, this mat has protrusions I'm going to call traction teeth that cover the entire bottom and grab your carpet so that there is absolutely no sliding around no matter how you get in and out of your vehicle. I highly recommend this product.

While the functioning of the video and gps seem to work fine, this unit has 2 fatal flaws. The camera itself is about a 2 inch x 6 inch diameter tube which is really kind of big to be mounted on your windshield. When you add the monstrosity of a window mount on it, it takes up half your windshield. REALLY DUMB design.

The other MAJOR fatal flaw is that the GPS module drains the battery and when fully drained, it resets the clock/date. On a full charge it took about 12-16 hours to drain the battery and it is much too inconvenient to disconnect the gps module every time you stop.

Another aspect that I do not like is the gps module is separate from the camera so you would have to have 2 cables running up the the unit. I did not really give it a good test because I sent it right back.

Sure seems like someone could make a really small, inexpensive car dvr...

Convenient Battery tester for a quick check of your car battery. With the engine off, connect the charger with the red electrode to the + terminal and the black electrode to the terminal. It gives a good indication of the reserve amount of your battery. Most of the time is shows 75% (or more); this is an indicator that the battery is in good shape. If it is 50%, it could indicate that the battery is starting to experience problems. A 50% reading can be misleading, as a battery at 70% can also give this reading. Also, AGM batteries have given me lower readings than the true capacity of the battery. If it is at 25%, one should get the battery checked or check the charging system.

With the engine on, it will test the alternator with either a red or green light on the top.

There are two issues I have. The first one is the cord for the black(-) electrode is very short. For conventional batteries, it works well. Some batteries are in the trunk and have connectors separated by long distances, and an additional extension (like alligator clip wires) is needed.

The second issue is the indicators shows only 100,75,50,25%. It needs more levels. A battery at 97% and one at 76% will result in only the 75% light being lit. A battery at 70% may only trip the 50% light. So, take several measurements.

Overall, it is worth having for a quick test of the battery and alternator.

This one is the smallest and thinnest of the Elph cameras that I have ever owned. Ryobi P260 Lithium Ion 18 Volt 1/2" Impact Wrench (Tool Only. Battery and Charger Not Included)

First, if you already own a bunch of Ryobi tools and a few of the 18v Lithium batteries then this will be a good addition to your tools collection. It is loud but works really well for a cordless 1/2" impact wrench. However, do not expect it to perform like an air impact wrench.

This is an inexpensive electric cordless impact wrench and not really meant for the tough jobs. If you expect to regularly and quickly remove lug nuts and rusted bolts, this is not the impact wrench to use. For those jobs, I have an Ingersol Rand 600 ft.lbs. air impact wrench.

If you are working on ATVs, Snowmobiles, Lawn and Garden equipment then this is a great tool to have around. It works well and quickly for those applications.

But if you are considering buying this on its own, it will cost you at least another $100 for a charger and batteries. And I don't think it is a good value then. Or if you are thinking of buying this to replace an air impact wrench then you will probably be disappointed.

Out of all the Ryobi tools I have, this one is the most sensitive about battery power. Feed this a fresh 3 amp hour NiMh (sold here at Amazon) or 3 ah lithium ion battery, it will handle just about any nut or bolt you point it at. Yet this tool struggles with tight nuts if battery is a little low on charge, or the battery is not 3 amp hour.

I did an engine, transmission, and harness swap between two cars. Project would not have been possible without this tool. I had to use a breaker bar with some head bolts. This tool can handle any head bolt after you crack it with a breaker bar.

Feed it a good battery, you will be pleased. I have owned this tool 9 months. Not as strong as a name brand pneumatic wrench, but good deal for the price. Certainly more powerful than other electric impact wrenches I have tried.

I'm already locked into one+ hardware with two drills and on my third set of two NiMH batteries. Drills have held up for 5+ years and the batteries have died predictably and consistently. I had my choice between the 1/4 in hex drive only model, or this 1/2" Impact wrench model.

My first test was to remove and retorque bolts holding bike axles on children's bikes. I used my standard one+ batteries and found I could kill a partially charged battery within four bolt-removal and torque attempts. A full charge on a standard one+ NiMH probably yields 8-10 applications of 100+ft/lb bolts.

I will definitely need LiIon batteries and charger to get more work out of a charge cycle however the investment in batteries and charger take the expense of ownership into dewalt and makita territory where I'm probably headed.

It is noisy however I'm happy to not be dragging a noisy compressor and 50 feet of hose along.

The pricing of this driver unit as a bare tool placed it in with 1/4 Hex drive units however the torque reserve is far greater than any of those units.

Unexpected benefits:

Where I would have used a stepped bit on my 18V drill before and struggled with binding, this thing will tear through any drilling task I've tried with a stepped bit. Using a little finessing with the speed I can apply lower torque and the driver works effortlessly. From that standpoint driving a 3.5 in deck screw into harder wood is like driving a screw into balsawood.

The NiMH batteries may bring more endurance to the tool however I've only used it for a series of small jobs.

If you're buying a set of tools, not tied to the one+ you have a lot of good choices. If you're stuck/committed to one+ tools and already use Li-Ion batteries it's a decent tool and will do what you need as long as you're not pushing it to 200ft/lb constantly. If you are you will be happier with Dewalt/Makita higher tier brands, air tools or electric(AC) powered tools.

No issues removing axle bolts on cars, lug nuts, crank pulley bolts, engine mounts.

Its been dropped, dragged, gotten wet and still performs fine.

I prefer using this over my Kobalt air impact, as it seems to have a bit more power.

Make sure to use the Lithium battery. The Ni-Cads don't do this impact justice.

It can be the difference of loosening a lug, or not.

Arrived quickly. I ordered both the key and the fob. Got ford to program and cut the key. Glad I did as ford would have charged me 260$ for everything, I bought on Amazon and paid $150 altogether so it saved me about $110. So Im more than satisfied.

Allstar Performance ALL80156 Battery Disconnect Switch

Ordered this switch, to replace the jammed OE, master chassis battery cut off switch (sometimes called the salesman switch) at the rear of our '97 American Tradition motor home. Old switch failed/jammed permanently in the off position one day, I broke the handle off using pliers to try and get it to turn on. I made sure this has the correct amperage, load ratings, shaft size for both the mount and the battery cabling etc. I suspect it will work without issue across many other similarly set-up American Coach or Fleetwood motor homes that have the same switch in the rear engine bay. The switch action itself is silky smooth, and gives a good responsive 'click' when moving between On -> Off and vice versa.

This works perfectly well. There is an assured "click" in both directions. The bezel showing "on" and "off" is just a sticker and I would have prefered something more substantial (made of metal), so I didn't even put it on. I just remember "pointing right is on" & "pointing left is off". The device was a little bigger than I expected it to be. It is probably about 3" in diameter. I am using it on a 12 volt lawn tractor.

I bought this product to replace an older unit that had a broken switch knob. Actually, all I needed was the switch knob, because the old product on the car was the same manufacturer. I bought this because I was tired of using pliers to disconnect the battery.

Sunforce 50033 15-Watt Solar Charging Kit

I am extremely pleased with the performance of this solar panel. We have one installed in a small cabin style 12-volt system intended only to charge personal electronics at a remote location. Just add a deep cycle battery and a DC to AC 120 power inverter, such as the Cobra CPI 480 400-Watt 12-Volt DC to 120-Volt AC Power Inverter with 5-Volt USB Output. It is great!

One WARNING for those new to such systems like we were. The charge controller that comes with this kit is just fine, but it is only for *MAINTAINING* a 12 volt battery. If that is your purpose, buy *this* kit.

But, if you want to add an inverter so that you can have AC, USB (and we even added a 12 volt car socket which is the most efficient), then buy the same panel *without* the charge controller and wiring kit. What you need is a charge controller like the Kintrex SPC0601 7 Amp 100 Watt 12 Volt Solar Power Charge Controller, and various connectors of course. The Sunforce controller only has connections for the solar panel and the battery. The Kintrex adds a load connector for power output which isolates the charge controller and gives you usable power output to your inverter. If you try to parallel the battery connection to your devices like I naively did, you risk overcharging your battery. (I vented a little hydrogen and oxygen, but did not do it long enough to ruin my battery.)

I will definitely be buying more of these panels for other projects. Once you understand the fairly simple wiring you can easily create a great low power system for a cabin. (Next, we will build a 60 or 90 watt system...)

HiI bought this set-up to keep my Motorhome charged when not using it. It is only 15 watts so can barely keep the battery up to charge if I am actually using any lights or other stuff but it will keep up with the draw of the refridgerator and minimal stuff. My only beef is the controller wires could have all been pre-terminated with connectors rather than having me do that. This was bought as a kit so it would have been nice if there was a connector on the input side of the controller that mated witht he connector on teh solar panel and a different style connector on the output that would be compatible with the cigarette-lighter adapter, etc. In other wordsall set up to just plug in and go.

Once I soldered and shrinkwrapped the new connectors on I'm pretty happy with it. Not everyone has the ability to properly terminate the wires.

I purchased this combo for off grid minimal lighting needs with high hopes. Package arrived dented, but contents appeared OK. Open circuit voltage on solar panel OK at 22v. However, max power output on sunny day was 1.6w (130mA@ 12.3v). This was on a day that my conventional 2.7kW system was producing 1.8kW. My plan is to return and try again, but purchasers should definitely check output.

This product has worked out well for me.

As I haven't isolated my truck battery its charging both truck and camper.

The vehicle has been unpluged from my 115V house access all summer.

I will say that it is a slow charge.

I was originally pleased with this purchase until, after about four months of use, the panel simply stopped working. There was no apparent damage and I carefully checked every connection for continuity. When I contacted customer service they replied by asking about the settings on my multimeter. I explained the situation to them but received no further response. I know how difficult it can be to troubleshoot a technical problem over the phone or by email but they didn't even try. It seemed like a good product at first but now it only functions as an overpriced door stop.

It may be worth more money to buy a transmitter which will broadcast on the best frequencies in your area.

I just got this transmitter at Walmart. It's a little bit different than the one listed here (FMT4RA instead of FMT4R), but it's a great little gadget. I needed to buy a battery operated transmitter for my car since my cigarette lighter is out of order and I don't want to replace it. I can be standing about 10 to 15 feet away and still hear the radio or iPod loud and clear! I had purchased one before this that was lousy--I had to literally hold the iPod up to the radio to hear anything. Since this new one is battery operated, I worried that the transmitter would be lousy, but that is not so. I'm very happy with this and can't wait to use it in my car. It's available at Wal-Mart in the auto department next to the mobile audio stuff for $12. Can't go wrong, but I'm planning to invest in some rechargeable batteries soon.

This is a decent product for the money. Works good, has several band width selections. Batteries last about 48 hours of use.

There is a slight hum in the background, but not significant.

A real difference for this would be having an internal rechargable battery, charged off a USB port. Now that would be perfect.
