Battery Tender 021-0144 Battery Tender Plus 6V Battery Charger
~ The "gassing point" of a 6-volt battery is 6.9 volts. Therefore, applying any voltage greater than 6.9 volts for an extended period of time will overheat the battery and warp the separator plates, permanently damaging the battery.~
(Note: This last paragraph above is the diagnosis for why 99% of all 6 or 12 volt motorcycle batteries fail after only a short life. People unknowingly use a standard 6 or 12 volt battery charger on their new battery which overheats the battery and permanently warps the separator plates. Use a Battery Tender from day one and your battery will outlive it's warranty period.)
I also recommend using "Charge It"(AGL890277Y), a cadmium additive from J.C. Whitney.
Directions for 3-cell, 6-volt M/C batteries:
"Use 1/3 of a 2.5 oz. bottle of "Charge It" into each of the three battery cells BEFORE the acid (electrolyte) is installed. Each cell receives 0.833 fluid ounces of "Charge It" and 7.167 ounces of acid.
Note: By adding "Charge It" into the battery first, you will only have to fill the battery with acid up to the upper level line, instead of having to measure exacting amounts of each." 1941-1959 Mechanics & Owners Guide to Harley-Davidson OHV Big Twins Vol. 1

BESTEK 150w power inverter car dc 12v to 110v ac inverter dc adapter laptop charger notebook adapte
- with UV oil coated, shiny surface. compact amazing appearance. Converters 12-volt DC power from a vehicle battery into 120-volt AC power. Simply plug the inverter into your vehicle's DC outlet, and connect your device to the inverter's AC outlet or USB port.
- New upgraded version ! Dual USB port: DC5V, 3.1A in all. Save your charge time. one is 1A, the other is 2.1A special for iPad.
- Input & output isolated keep you from the electric shock.
- Protections: Short circuits, overload, over temperature, low battery voltage, over battery voltage.
- Soft start, surge protection, auto-shut down protects your device and the inverter from the overheating, over load , low load, short circuit, low voltage and over voltage.
What I like about this:
(1) Works very well charged laptop, cell phone ... so far so good
(2) Corded, instead of plugged this will keep it safe as well as a good utility since I can reach it to power a laptop in the rear seats
(3) Single unit with both 110v as well as 12v USB power so I can charge my laptop as well as iphone at the same time
(4) Safe, enclosed unit
(5) Cool, has a inbuilt fan which keeps switching on/off a couple of times whenever it needs to cool off the fan is pretty silent, you can hear it only when your car is parkedNice package, pretty quiet I wasn't having any problems with this little inverter... until the fan developed a loud whine on startup. Okay I'm willing to cut it some slack, it was still putting out good power and the sound faded fairly quickly...
And then it wouldn't fade out. It sounds like the fan bearings have gone, after less than four months.
I can't say I'd recommend this unit but it's better than no inverter at all. And seeing the fan noise didn't start for a couple of months you're probably okay using this in a short-term situation. I don't know if it's a problem with this model, or if I just got lucky but I wouldn't get a second unless I was really hard up for power. Can't believe we've used anything else for the car and so glad we no longer need any special car chargers. We can just plug our phones, computers and DVD player right in. An essential traveling companion.
The fan does produce some noise, but it's not that noticeable when driving. Also it seems that if we put it in certain positions the noise is lessened. Regardless, the broad usefulness, small size, and great price outweighs any noise.I like this item,it is a good price, the only drawback is the usb ports don't seem to charge anything very fast.Using in my car to charge laptop/phone so i can use my other accessory outlet for my ipod transmitter...Does great for me, though i would recommend disconnecting it if you are shutting the vehicle off to ensure you do not drain your car battery.

There are a couple issues, one the power/volume knob is tiny, makes it hard to switch on depending on where you mount this. The other issue is the unit is pretty long, finding a mounting location that can fit this entire unit is hard if you're trying to integrate it into a vehicle dash.I have mine in my Chevrolet Silverado, which I use for personal and business it works good and I love the weather bands when traveling out to Louisiana ,when I first installed it I used a 4 foot Fire stick antenna and could not get the swr,s to match so I put a 4 foot Francis on it swr,s matched perfect after that I also run Francis on my company semi also with a Cobra 25 all souped up, overall I like the radio and would recommend it to anybody trucking or personal.Seems like it will be a nice CB if I can get one that works properly. The first one I got had a problem with the mic. As soon as I plugged it in it automatically keyed itself. I'm glad I had the Antenna plugged in or it probably would have cooked the transmitter right then. Second I think it had a short because as I was trying to move it on my dash it came on even though the volume/power knob was completely off. At first I thought I might have bumped it but I was able to repeat the same thing by holding it at a slight angle. I was also getting SWR readings all over the place. I would check it one minute and would read .75 without any adjustment to the antenna or anything else I would key the mic and get readings as high as 4. Thanks to amazons return policy I should have another one tomorrow and hopefully I will be able to give a better review.
*Update* *Update* *Update*
Got my second unit in and it works like a champ. Cobra really needs to work on their quality control because their bad units and subsequent bad reviews will likely start impacting sales very soon if not already. The second radio functions flawlessly and sounds crystal clear transmitting and receiving.
I gave it 4 stars for the first unit being bad. I would have left off 2 stars but amazons return policy made the return and receiving of the second one nearly painless.

Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2004 Mazda 6 With Do-It-Yourself Programming
I'm very happy with this remote because it gets really annoying having to manually unlock the doors/trunk and not being able to set the alarm. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I'd like to thank the sellers for the very fast shipping and saving me from having to spend a fortune at the Mazda dealer.Between my husband and myself, we tried to program the key fob 10 times. We followed the instructions that were included, but it never worked. We finally ended up searching online for better directions and it worked on the fist try. We followed these instructions that we found online and these worked for our 2004 Mazda 6 wagon:
Step 1: Open drivers door and leave open.
Step 2: Lock and unlock the drivers door using the power door lock switch on the door.
Step 3: Insert key into the ignition.
Step 4: Turn key to on position and return to off position. (IMPORTANT use ON position NOT ACC position). Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. Leave key in the ignition.
Step 5: Open and close the drivers door 3 times. (Door should be left open after this step).
Step 6: ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors.
Step 7: Press the unlock button on remote twice. (This is different than other posts that say you can push any button. Our experience is that it has to be the unlock button.)
Step 8: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series of door locks and unlocks. You're done!
We would've given them 5 stars for price and very prompt shipping, but the inaccurate/incomplete instructions and typos brought our review down a star.

Master Lock 2953AT 12-Volt DC Portable Winch
It has a built in handle for carrying, detachable power and control cords, and enough cable to get you within 25 feet or so of whatever you are winching. It has a 2000 lb rating, and will pull that much easily. Not quickly, but easily. It has a manual crank that can be attached to the shaft. It also has a very handy mounting plate designed to slip over the ball on a ball-hitch.
The clutch is manual, and drag is set by means of a threaded knob on the shaft. It is very simple to use. Simply connect the power and control cables, loosen the clutch, pull the cable to whatever you need to pull and hook it up. Then tighten the clutch and press the button on the control handle and start winching. Be patient. There is only one speed and it is slow. But it works.
I have tested the winch by hanging it from a beam and picking up the front of a truck with no problem. Then we really put it to the test by using it to pull our garden tractor out of the mud. It was a long pull so we needed to add a tug strap but it was easy enough to hook up. The pull was painless. The winch is slow because it gets it's power through gearing. It is quite a drain on a car battery, so it helps to leave your engine running while you pull.
Not something you would want to use every day but very handy to have around. For my money this is a 5-star tool. Great for the boat owner or for use around the farm. While mowing my lawn, my Sears Lawn Tractor got away from me. While I was working to get it unstuck, it rolled down a steep hill. (Had it not hit a tree, it would have gone off a 20 foot cliff). The wheels got stuck behind large rocks. I bought the winch to pull it up a 40 foot hill, with at least a 45 degree incline. I had to use an additional tow rope even though the instructions warn against this. The winch pulled the tractor up and saved me the money and embarrassment of having to call a tow truck. It worked beyond my expectations.

I have a bad back, I love to kayak, and have two, a 138 and a 160t Old Town kayaks. My back couldn't get the 160t up on trailer with out straining 70lbs.(I have 3 Cockers that go with me, they can't help lift), I now just align it and press a button. It goes right up and I'm not injured or sore, so I can kayak longer and further. I give leverage 10 stars on this one. Yes, it takes a little time to set it up, but well worth it. I'm over 60. I've got it down to only a couple of minutes now.

the most frustrating thing is the speed; it is ultra slow, ULTRA...it also kept coming off of it's mounting bracket as there is a lot of wiggle room when placed over the mounting studs...it would seem you really need to make further arrangements in bolting this to it's mounting plate, a lunch pin for example.i mounted it on the tractor and went to haul up some logs. the cable run is about 30feet; sounds like a lot until getting down in a ravine and seeing just how short that is...i attached an added chain, but still there was only a 30foot run at a time before having to go back down and make new attachments.
i do belive the pulling data is very accurate, i tried to pull my 2500 pound tractor on a 5% grade. it did it BUT i could have retired in the process...ULTRA slow.
there may be times when very slow is good as in tightening fence lines, pulling in a boat....but most of what i do around the farm speed is more important to me...if i were to guess i would say it winches in at about 6inches a minute. they say not to run the motor more than 8-12 minutes...so, gee that figures out to be a whopping 6feet in 12 minutes....
the setup seems solid except the plastic housing which if rather flimsy, as evidenced when it fell off the mounting plate...maybe a fall of 1 1/2 foot...the housing got big deep scrathes and seperated at the seam. they mention it is not waterproof, well you can surely believe that.
i will keep it as for the price it will have some uses, like fence pulling, lifting the motorcycle from a rafter/pulley to change tires etc...but for log pulling, moving something up to the flatbed well there are faster ways.

Husky Liners Custom Fit Second Seat Floor Liner for Toyota RAV4 for Select Toyota RAV4 Models (Tan)
( $92.00), so I found a liner for my car model made in China for $38.00 which got really good reviews and does the job for much less. I wish China would make some Husky -type liners at a more reasonable cost than Husky is asking.
If it weren't for the enormous high price for a piece of molded rubber that does not cost that much to mass produce and does not take a rocket scientist to invent, I would have given it 5 stars.Good quality, custom fit and attractive. Should hold melted snow that I bring in on my boots in the winter better than a traditional floor mat. Appears to be durable. Not cheap, but worth the expense.

Pioneer DEH-150MP Single DIN Car Stereo With MP3 Playback
- In-Dash AM/FM, CD, MP3 Receiver with Remote
- Single-line, multi-segmented LCD display with LED back light is 35% larger
- Power Output: Peak: 50 watts x 4 channels RMS: 14 watts x 4 channels
- Theft-deterrent, detachable face plate with anti-dust design
- Wireless remote control included
I have been a professional in the automotive service business for over 40 years, and I just could not believe how GREAT this unit sounds. It puts out great high, midrange, and bass frequencies equally well. With its multiple equalizer and bass boost settings it provides incredibly rich, full range, quality sound at a price (about $60) that just seems impossible to beat.
Although you will need to read up on all of its various settings and adjustments to "dial in" exactly what you want in the way of your own particular musical experience, it'll be well worth your time investment. The aux input jack is another great feature that lets you update your vehicle to easily connect an iPod or any other sound device up to it using a standard headphone mini-plug. The remote control that is included is also a nice touch even if you don't use it much. Imagine having a picnic somewhere, or using it in your RV, with this stereo providing the musical entertainment, and being able to control it from the very compact and lightweight remote you can keep in a shirt pocket. How cool is that?
It has a large, clear, screen display and an attractive, high-end-looking removable faceplate that offers some theft prevention, or at least theft-deterrent qualities.
Installation is very simple, as it will fit into any single-DIN slot by itself, or into any double-DIN slot if you add a single-DIN-sized pocket or spacer. Since almost every vehicle sold in the US in the last 30 years (at least up until the latter 2000s) uses the DIN mounting standard, there are very few vehicles in which this unit won't fit easily. It comes with screws to mount it to most vehicle manufacturers'stock mounting brackets. But if your vehicle is missing those brackets it's still no problem because it also comes with its own very thin sheet metal "sleeve" that can mount generically and sturdily to almost any factory stock or aftermarket DIN-sized frame/faceplate components. You then simply slide the unit into that sleeve and add the trim plate that is also included to complete a custom-looking installation.
To make things really easy and provide for a clean, factory-looking wiring job, I would suggest also buying and using an aftermarket wiring harness adapter (like the Metra 70-1720 Radio Wiring Harness I used for my friend's '93 Honda Accord, which was available through Amazon.com for only $3.55 when I bought it). That way you can connect the new stereo's wiring harness to the adapter at any convenient location outside of the car (like on your workbench or kitchen table) and then simply plug the adapter harness connector into your vehicle's factory radio wiring harness connector just as though you were plugging a factory radio into it. This makes for a neat, incredibly simple, and professional installation at VERY little additional cost.
If you are buying this unit to replace another unit that was stolen from your vehicle, and the thieves damaged or removed the factory wiring harness connector plug and some of the factory wiring, you can also inexpensively bring your vehicle radio wiring back to "like-new" condition by getting a "reverse wiring adapter harness" (like the Metra 71-1720 Reverse Wiring Harness I also bought for my friend's '93 Honda Accord). You then wire this "reverse" harness to the wiring in your dash that the thieves cut/damaged. You will then have a factory-type connector again, into which you connect the adapter harness connector as described in the above paragraph. Again, a great professional installation job.
Overall, this unit from Amazon is an AMAZING value... Thanks Amazon!!!

The only reason I replaced the factory radio was to have a line in port so I could listen to my ipod as I drive. This stereo is great for people like me. If you just casually listen to the radio and want to use the line in port now and again, this is a great option. There aren't a whole lot of other bells and whistles, but that saves me money in the end. I purchased a dash kit and wire harness from Amazon as well making the install really quick and painless.Read Best Reviews of Pioneer DEH-150MP Single DIN Car Stereo With MP3 Playback Here

PowerLine 1,300mA Universal AC Adapter with Compatibility Tips and USB Power Port 90304
I'm so mad at myself, but it's not the charger's fault! Ugh!!!
Minus 1 star because the USB port does NOT simultaneously work when the charger is charging one of the tips! That really sucks cause I thought I would be able to charge my baby monitor AND cell phone/ipod at the same time from the same outlet!
BE VERY CAREFUL AND READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PLUGGING IT INTO ANY DEVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't make my mistake! I'm paying for it now!!!This Powerline Universal AC adapter can be used in place of disposable batteries. In addition, there is an USB power port for devices that draw power via an USB cord. It is NOT a charger; it cannot be used for electronic gadgets with rechargeable batteries, although the USB port can be used as a power outlet for devices with built-in or plugged-in chargers. This adapter plugs into a 100-120VAC outlet only and thus may not be compatible with the electrical grids of some foreign countries. The current draw is rated at 1300 mA; that is large for an AC adapter (See Footnote). I bought an exact model of this adapter in a retail store about 3-1/2 years ago and it is still functioning perfectly. It is a proven product, folks.
The blades of this AC adapter can be folded flat for easy storage. There are 5 voltage settings: 3V, 4.5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V, and 12V, and an USB power setting. It comes with 7 interchangeable plugs of various sizes, secured in a storage bar. Note that you can only use either the USB port or a power plug at any single time, but not both at the same time. Before you install a plug onto the cord, you need to find out the polarity of your device; it is either tip positive or tip negative. You can usually find the information right next to the power socket of your electronic device. Install the plug by lining up the + or symbol with the word "Tip" on the plug receptor of the cord. The wrong polarity may harm electronic gadgets with delicate integrated circuits. It is therefore best to obtain the polarity information ahead of time.
Footnote: If you are buying an adapter to replace an old one that came with a product, buy one with a current rating equal to or more than the original.
Buy PowerLine 1,300mA Universal AC Adapter with Compatibility Tips and USB Power Port 90304 Now
I bought it as a companion to an electronic and unfortunately it didn't work, tested it with other items and it works just fine! Ended up returning the other piece but keeping this charger. I have gone around testing it with other electronics like my cell phone using the USB port and it also works. I am really happy with this purchase! This adapter does not allow you to use the USB port at the same time as the universal tip part. Also, the 1.3A rating is for the tip portion only. The USB portion is a mere 300mA.Rated down one point because there was no mention that the tips are in 90 degree configurations. Makes the tips shorter than a straight configuration and more apt to not fit in all the way. Barely stays in my device because it's too short. Otherwise, the adapter works well.Monday, November 18, 2013

Ryobi P260 Lithium Ion 18 Volt 1/2" Impact Wrench (Tool Only. Battery and Charger Not Included)
This is an inexpensive electric cordless impact wrench and not really meant for the tough jobs. If you expect to regularly and quickly remove lug nuts and rusted bolts, this is not the impact wrench to use. For those jobs, I have an Ingersol Rand 600 ft.lbs. air impact wrench.
If you are working on ATVs, Snowmobiles, Lawn and Garden equipment then this is a great tool to have around. It works well and quickly for those applications.
But if you are considering buying this on its own, it will cost you at least another $100 for a charger and batteries. And I don't think it is a good value then. Or if you are thinking of buying this to replace an air impact wrench then you will probably be disappointed.Out of all the Ryobi tools I have, this one is the most sensitive about battery power. Feed this a fresh 3 amp hour NiMh (sold here at Amazon) or 3 ah lithium ion battery, it will handle just about any nut or bolt you point it at. Yet this tool struggles with tight nuts if battery is a little low on charge, or the battery is not 3 amp hour.
I did an engine, transmission, and harness swap between two cars. Project would not have been possible without this tool. I had to use a breaker bar with some head bolts. This tool can handle any head bolt after you crack it with a breaker bar.
Feed it a good battery, you will be pleased. I have owned this tool 9 months. Not as strong as a name brand pneumatic wrench, but good deal for the price. Certainly more powerful than other electric impact wrenches I have tried.First thing I did to test this gun was remove lugs on my 4x4 truck . worked like a champ with a 3/4 charged old style nicad battery that is two years old. I put those lugs on myself with an air impact months ago.
second thing was four inch screws, no problems there. its loud but thats to be expected from an IMPACT wrench. very happy with this purchase.
I will mostly use this for construction work but its nice to know I can fix my vehicles with it too!
The chuck adapter is fantastic and if you pull the tip and insert the bits properly they cannot fall out. If this is unclear to anyone its all in the directions.I'm already locked into one+ hardware with two drills and on my third set of two NiMH batteries. Drills have held up for 5+ years and the batteries have died predictably and consistently. I had my choice between the 1/4 in hex drive only model, or this 1/2" Impact wrench model.
My first test was to remove and retorque bolts holding bike axles on children's bikes. I used my standard one+ batteries and found I could kill a partially charged battery within four bolt-removal and torque attempts. A full charge on a standard one+ NiMH probably yields 8-10 applications of 100+ft/lb bolts.
I will definitely need LiIon batteries and charger to get more work out of a charge cycle however the investment in batteries and charger take the expense of ownership into dewalt and makita territory where I'm probably headed.
It is noisy however I'm happy to not be dragging a noisy compressor and 50 feet of hose along.
The pricing of this driver unit as a bare tool placed it in with 1/4 Hex drive units however the torque reserve is far greater than any of those units.
Unexpected benefits:
Where I would have used a stepped bit on my 18V drill before and struggled with binding, this thing will tear through any drilling task I've tried with a stepped bit. Using a little finessing with the speed I can apply lower torque and the driver works effortlessly. From that standpoint driving a 3.5 in deck screw into harder wood is like driving a screw into balsawood.
The NiMH batteries may bring more endurance to the tool however I've only used it for a series of small jobs.
If you're buying a set of tools, not tied to the one+ you have a lot of good choices. If you're stuck/committed to one+ tools and already use Li-Ion batteries it's a decent tool and will do what you need as long as you're not pushing it to 200ft/lb constantly. If you are you will be happier with Dewalt/Makita higher tier brands, air tools or electric(AC) powered tools.I have owned this for about a year now.
No issues removing axle bolts on cars, lug nuts, crank pulley bolts, engine mounts.
Its been dropped, dragged, gotten wet and still performs fine.
I prefer using this over my Kobalt air impact, as it seems to have a bit more power.
Make sure to use the Lithium battery. The Ni-Cads don't do this impact justice.
It can be the difference of loosening a lug, or not.
