I recently got my mom the Samsung Rugby II with AT&T. I got this charger set for her for Christmas and she is thrilled to have the extra chargers around. They are a great price, and she says they charge the phone just fine. Maybe they won't last as long as the OEM charger because of how cheap they are(who knows), but they are working just fine now. It will be especially nice to use the USB data cable to get some decent ringtones and backgrounds onto her phone. The Rugby II comes without much, so the data cable will be very helpful in sprucing it up. Very happy with the purchase.

Couldn't be happier. AT&T wanted 30 bucks for a car charger alone. It may bave been a little better quality, who knows... it's was made in China too, and $2.00 for a wall charger, car charger and UBS cable was just about what I figure any trio of products made in China is worth; including an HP computer, an iPhone and a Hugo Boss shirt.

Battery Disconnect Switch with Key

I wanted a cost-effective way to turn off my battery power to my RV, and this seemed to fit the bill. I especially liked the fact that it has a weather cover when the key is not inserted, and when it was, the boot also kept the weather out.

Well I drilled the necessary holes in the battery box cover and made the installation, hooking up the battery leads last and then installing the cover back onto the battery box. That was it! Works beautifully. I put a keep string to tie the key on to the RV when it is being used, as I don't want to risk losing the key.

Product came in quickly and is doing its job but not without an issue. When I initially installed it, it would not cut the power off to my RV. After breaking the nuts loose to take it out I decided to check one last time and it was working. Re-tightened the nuts was not working again. Apparently, if you "over-tighten the nuts it will cause this to malfunction and not cut the power off as it should. Not sure why but, this was my experience.

Woke up to find this alarm had completely drained my battery. Apparently this alarm goes off at the slightest vibration & keeps going until it's sucks the life out of the car's battery. Pretty useless item anyways, not even loud enough to hear when indoors, so what's the point?! Thanks for the additional headache & time waste of having to call for a jump start.

This is a great economical car alarm! Its very easy to hookup and simple to use. Comes with 14 button remote. I read another reviewer state it had killed their battery and gave false alarms so I assume they did not know that there are sensitivity settings easy selectable through the remote. When it rains really hard for example that may be enough to set it off so I go to the next sensitivity and I don't hear a peep. Whats nice about this alarm is that it senses via vibration and or electrical changes. One possible flaw however is that these signals are picked up better closer to the front and front sides of the vehicle than the rear since the unit is mounted under the hood and being that the unit is self contained. The alarm cycles so it goes off after about 10 minutes so it would have to be continuously triggered to kill a car battery. The loudness is reasonable. The transmitter has four buttons. One for set, deactivate, sensitivity and honestly I forget the other but think its to program or reprogram. The remote range is also reasonable. All in all as I said I'm very happy with this unit. Now if they can come up with a 2 wire alarm that flashes lights and unlocks or locks doors at a reasonable price then I'm on board!

1)alarm is not very loud (so forget about using it as a panic device), 2)often did not pick up signal from transmitter (had to be close to vehicle) so forget using it to locate your car, and 3)design seems dangerous leads get clamped to car battery but there is nothing keeping the clamps from coming off, causing a short, or worse a fire yikes!

I've had two of these and they work VERY GOOD for the price. I had one on a van. You have to READ the setup and set the sensitivity to motion. YES it is configurable. Pretty good for a cheap alarm to protect your Ferrari? I have one now I am setting up on an electric (2 wheel) scooter. I have to mount a small 12v battery to power it because the scooter is 48v.

I bought two of these for my, and my wifes car as we both have the JVC-KDHR1 head unit. It worked fine for my wife, who has an older iPod. Though navigating the menus via the head unit can be complicated and confusing until you get used to it.

This unit did not work for me however. I have the same head unit, but use an iPod Touch. When connected the head continuously displays "CHECKING" and the iTouch displays "External Device Connected" whenever video or music is selected. No audio can be played or heard when the unit is connected. The problem seems to be that the iTouch is "aware" that an external controller is connected, but the JVC head unit is incapable "talking" to the iTouch. Apparently the external control interface, or command protocol, for the iTouch is different than previous iPods. Either JVC must implement this interface in their newer head units, or the iTouch needs to have a software mode that emulates an older iPod.

I would be happy, even happier, if I could simply connect the iTouch via the control cable and have it 1) charge the iTouch, and 2) provide audio to the head unit. I don't need to control the iTouch via the head unit. This way it would function just like any iPod speaker/amplifier docking station. I feel certain there should be some hack or way of "fooling" the head unit into simply accepting the iTouch audio and provide charging voltage, but I haven't yet discovered one.

In the interim I purchased another JVC connector cable that simply converts the same head unit input to a line level RCA stereo connection. I connect to that cable with, yet another, adapter cable that converts dual RCA (male) to 1/8" stereo (male) for the iTouch headphone jack. I also purchased a combination cigarette lighter holder-mount/charger/FM transmitter for the iTouch ridiculously cheap on eBay. I tried the FM transmitter and found the resulting audio extremely weak. So now I keep the iTouch mounted and connected to the holder for charging, and also connected to the head unit via the 1/8" headphone output. It's a complicated arrangement that also results in ignition noise, probably due to the multitple grounding paths provide by both cables. Still it's better than just the FM transmitter until a better solution becomes available.

I bought the adapter to go with the JVC car stereo with HD radio. I felt the IPod adapter would be superior to the generic adapter because you can charge your IPod while you drive. The thing I didn't count on is that you give up all ability to control the IPod, except through the stereo unit.

Now, everyone knows that Apple is renowned for its user interface. Well, forget about using the click wheel, looking at lists of songs, etc. You are forced to navigate through the contents of your IPod using a one-line monochromatic display. Frankly, this sucks. There should be an option as to where you can control your IPod. I am returning the IPod adapter and going with the generic headphone jack.

From Lowe's (same author) This inverter has so far (about three weeks of use) proven reliable and easy to use. The question is does the average person need a "6000" watt inverter. From what I've learned, it depends mainly on what your appliance starting loads require, not the operating load. If you're going to run a modern refrigerator or microwave oven I've found the 3000 watt starts and runs ok. But I wouldn't recommend it for the big microwave ovens--the 3000 watt unit just can't keep up with the demand. A small airconditioner that has a 1000 watt operating consumption may well require 4000-5000 watts over 5-10 seconds to start its compressor. The 3000 watt inverter has been known to kick off line after only a couple of seconds at 4500 watts and therefore won't start the airconditioner. This 6000 watt inverter does well here with plenty of operating juice to keep stuff running, but puts a real drain on the batteries.

Also worth noting is this 6000 watt inverter seems to maintain more voltage stability--I've run it at around 3000 watts and the its output voltage never dropped below 118 VAC and its frequency remained steady at 59-60 cycles per second.

Botom line is that to-date, I'm very satisfied with the 6000 watt inverter's performance and reliability

First I bought a small inverted thinking it will be enough to power up a big air condition and it failed. Then, I bought this humongous powerful inverter and at first it also failed. Their customer service is GREAT explain the problem. I was connecting the inverter with gauge 4 cables and it was powering up most stuff, but when it came to the 10,000 BTU air condition it failed. Then, they told me to change does weak gauge 4 cables and get gauge 0. After, that it was a beauty. This is hooked up with 2 106AH marine battery for now which I am going to put 10 in total. They are being charge by solar panels for now I only have 360 watts with gauge 4 wires, later I will put for 1000 watts of solar panels.

Quick update, the A/C actually sucks about 4,600 watts for a good 10 seconds before it drops down to regular watt at 890 watts. Sense this thing actually is 6,000 watts and 12,000 peak there is no problem. With does 2 106AH marine battery it last just over 1 hour at night and 1h20min at night.

I have purchased this unit to be used if the grid goes down and not as my primary power source. It is larger than what I actually need but the price so reasonable I wanted a system that could easily take care of my needs. I have an ample battery bank so my peace of mind is in control.

Ordered Stanley Model LI1000 jump starter 3/7/12 and received unit 3/9/12. Spent weekend unsuccessfully attempting to charge it and then found that Amazon doesn't accept returns on this item! I then called the manufacturer, Stanley, and they expected me to pay shipping charges to repair an item that they released as defective. Then I called Amazon and was promised an immediate replacement--the "brightest" spot in the whole transaction. We'll see how well the replacement performs. So far this booster pack has only been used a handful of times, but it has not failed me yet. I charged it up immediately when I got it and it sat in the box for months before the first use. I used it to jump start a 2002 3/4 ton GM truck with 8.1 liter engine. The truck's battery was totally flat. This booster pack was connected to the truck and I pressed the button to start the boost process (note that this will only boost for a short period of time before you need to push the button again safety feature I guess). What you must understand about this jumper is that it may or may not assist to start a bad battery (a battery that will no longer take a charge and you must replace). I say may or may not because it depends on the size of what you are jumping. Unfortunately all my cars are eight cylinder vehicles, so I am not that lucky. Until this winter, this jumper has NEVER failed to jump start my vehicles. It's hard to say whether this was a fair test. I eventually used, not a jump-starter, but a recharger on the battery, which since then has worked fine. So we'll see how the jump-starter works if there's a next time, but it did not work in the emergency that I had.

These units have their batteries sealed inside (non-changeable). I was a little concerned purchasing them and not knowing the manufacture date. However, when I received them, the date code was very recent (only 3 months old, my last ones were still working after 11 years, but I figured it was time to change them with this tire swap). The TPMS units were the OEM parts in perfect factory sealed condition and worked perfectly when installed. The price was great from Amazon ($15 each less than the best dealer or parts store price) and they were delivered as expected. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Part works well and is priced well, but didn't come with the nut to secure it to the wheel. They probably expected you to have the nut from the replaced part, but if you don't.....

Got a set of 4 sensors and had them installed. Dealer could not get them to work because of weak batteries.

ordered another set of 4 sensors and the dealer checked them before trying to install them, found all 4 sensors

also had batteries too weak to activate the tpms. Returned the second set and ordered a set of dorman sensors. The dorman sensor batteries were ok and they worked like they should have when the dealer installed them. Lots of wasted time making 3 trips to finally getting the results that should have happened the first trip to get the sensors installed.

I purchased these cables based solely on internet research. Coleman seems to be a well respected company. After inspecting the 08660 twenty foot long four gauge cables, I am satisfied with my purchase. The materials appear to be of good quality, and the clamp design is intuitive. There is a top of page review dated September 14th 2006 by Privacy Advocate titled "Slight disappointment" in which he describes his concern about the clamps having only one side of the jaw plated with copper. This actually is an intelligent design. The copper cable is connected to only one jaw (the jaw that is copper plated for increased conductivity). Copper plating the non-connected jaw would be counter productive. I recommend purchasing a minimum length of twenty feet, a minimum of four gauge cable, and clamps rated a minimum of 500 amps. The length is recommended because you may not always be able to place a boost vehicle nose to nose or side by side. The gauge and amps are particularly important if you live in a cold climate. Check the vehicle OEM battery specifications regarding cold cranking amps (CCA) for a clear understanding of why gauge and amps are important.

For the price and in the right situations these are good cables. Good length, good ga. wire and copper connectors. But for me where they fall short is at the clamps and this type of clamp seems to be on MANY cables available today. I could not see it in the photos but the clamps are uneven at the ends because of the extra notch the manufacturer adds on one side to make it easier to connect to side terminal batteries. Also there are NO teeth on the end of the jaws so you HAVE to make your connection using the teeth on the sides of the jaws. This does not sound like a big deal until you are in a tight situation and have to clamp onto a top post battery straight down, then you have an uneven clamp end and no teeth to grip the post. I happen to also have a car (a domestic) with a remote mounted battery, not a HOT ROD or modified car, just a stock factory production car where the manufacturer could not fit the battery under the hood for space saving and design reasons and put it elsewhere in the car. Remote batteries used to be a rare thing on mostly European cars but it is fairly common now on all makes of cars. With the battery not under the hood or in the trunk I have a Pos. and Neg. lug under the hood at the end of battery cables to jump the car with. The Pos. lug is surrounded by plastic in a depression to prevent anything from accidentally hitting it and shorting. Because of this there is little room and I can not get the side of these jumper cable clamps to grab the lug, I need teeth on the end of the jaws to grip the Pos. lug. I'm returning these cables and for $15 more (on sale) than the price of these cables I got the same length, the same 4 ga. wire, clamps with teeth on all 3 sides, even jaw ends, a side terminal connection in the jaws, and they came with a hard plastic storage case, safety glasses and gloves. After shopping around for a week I found this is a great deal. I shopped all over the Net and in my local stores comparing prices wire length, size, and end clamps. There are many great items for great prices at Amazon but if you need what I need in a jumper cable go to your local SEARS.

These cables are made with aluminum wire which has been tarted-up with a copper coating. The jaws are steel, also deceptively copper plated. The insulation on the wire is some cheesy substance that I suspect will crack and fall off within a few years. I would rate these three stars if they were sold as what they were, instead of pretending to a quality that they don't possess. If you need a long set of jumper cables that will start your car, and you don't expect them to last too long, these will probably do the job for you. If you expect quality components and a lifetime of service from the tools you buy, keep looking.

The cables are made in the USA, which is great, but they are not copper cables. They are the much cheaper "copper clad aluminum" cables that are of much lower quality. The product description states, "Extra Heavy-Duty" and "the strongest consumer grade available", which CCA is not. I need the jumper cables for emergency use only so they hopefully won't be used much. If you need to unroll and roll up the cables often look for copper cable, not this product. This kind of information should have been in the product description, but then if it was, I wouldn't have made this purchase.

Garmin GPS Nuvi 255w Accessory Bundle - Car Charger + Home Travel AC Charger + USB Data Cable

I ordered these to put into a second vehicle, and to charge my new GPS from wall outlets. Neither the car charger nor the wall charger would charge the GPS. The GPS reacted to being plugged in as if it were plugged into a USB cable to a computer, or cycled through an attempt to open maps.

The AC charger in this combination destroyed the battery in my new Garman. I thought the problem was the Garman itself. I was wrong. When I received the replacement Garman from Amazon I called the Garman help line. Under the guidance of the Garman representative I hooked up the AC charger to my replacement Garman. The displays I should have gotten in that charging situation did not occur. What I did experience during that charging raised concern with the representative. He told me to disconnect the AC charger immediately. He then instructed me to charge the unit using a usb connection to my computer. When I did that the charging procedure worked perfectly.

I returned the AC Charger to Amazon and was told I would get a full refund.

I ordered a new AC Charger directly from Garman. When I received that AC charger I immediately hooked it up to my Garman and it worked perfectly.

I'll most likely deal with Garman directly if I want to obtain any other additions to my new Garman.

I want to say at the outset that I have absolutely no complains with either the functioning of my GPS and nor with the accessories bundle. My complaint is with item presentation on Amazon's website. T

There was no explaination on why a newbie to GPS purchasing would even need such items. I, in my ignorance bought the total package. But, I had bought the GPS and the accessory bundle under the false assumption that all items would be shipped together from Amazon. WRONG!!! They are from separate vendors. I paid full shipping on each individual accessory. In one case, a 0.75 connection cord cost me five dollars.

Was grateful for this package of replacement chargers. Didn't need all three, but it was a good price. And it was posted and arrived quicker than I expected.

Sometimes you get what you pay for... Both of these adapters have worked for me now for a few months. I have not had them fall apart, but them do not seem extremely durable. For the price I would not be upset if one stopped working...

I bought this, specifically, for the car charger with USB. Figured, it couldn't hurt to have an extra usb outlet plug. Unfortunately, the car charger, literally, fell apart. No cracks or anything, just came apart. It was cheap, so I just threw it away without complaining.

On a positive note, the usb plug thing hasn't fallen apart.

These are so useful! I don't know how I lived without them before! So many things charge via USB these days, and there is no reason to spend big money on specialized chargers to charge them! You can hear even while racing in a loud race car. Works fine...Don't break it though, I broke the first one I had, and they can not fix it.
