Bluetooth Car Kit Speakerphone with Multi-point, Echo Cancellation & Noise Suppression for all Moto

Bluetooth Car Kit Speakerphone with Multi-point, Echo Cancellation & Noise Suppression for all Motorola phonesThis is my second one of these bluetooths. The first one didn't break, it got stolen from my car. I had it for about two years and I was so happy with it that I didn't want to replace it with anything else, so I'm glad they still make them. The battery seems to last forever. Every few months, I decide to recharge it just in case, but I've never had the battery die on me. I just don't get it, it never dies. I hear perfectly on it and I've never had anyone ask me to repeat anything or tell me they couldn't hear me. It couldn't be easier to program or operate. I hope this one lasts forever or that they never stop making them.

It was time to face the reality that holding a phone to my ear/face was not only unsafe, it was frustrating. I looked at a lot of options for a hands-free system and chose this one with my fingers crossed. That trick must work sometimes because this was an easy and effective way to keep the phone in my pocket and my eyes on the road. It was easy to set up and works well. Those I talk to have no problem hearing me with the unit attached to the visor over the driver's seat.

Downsides: I haven't figured out how to integrate it with the speak-to-call and message reading systems of the phone. I don't know if that will work, but it doesn't work out of the box. Also, I have to train myself to turn it off when I leave the car. It has such a long range that I can be 50 feet from the unit and it still picks up the calls so I have to put the phone on speaker to hear the caller. There's always something.

Milton 1260 Battery-Starter Charging System Tester

Milton 1260 Battery-Starter Charging System TesterI gave this Milton Industries model 1260 Battery Tester the lowest possible rating for three reasons: 1) poor load switching design, 2) poor calibration and, 2) poor Customer Service attitude (which reflects on the Company's attitude).

1) After having this tester for about a week and having tested 7 batteries the load switch failed. Removal and disassembly of this switch (after talking with Milton, see below) revealed that most of the internal plastic supporting material had severely melted. This was a DPST momentary rocker switch. It had no external or internal identification markings. Milton recommended replacement switch p/n: P10-2-1N from Toolsavings of Chicago. This new switch was similar but not exactly the same as the original part. It was identified as made by Arcolectric Corp with a 1551 part number. In Arcolectric's literature (see http://www.arcolectric.com/pdfs/RockerSwitches_199.pdf pp 26 & 27) this switch has a 20 amp at 24vdc rating. With the new switch installed I subsequently used the Tester to measure two different batteries while using a clamp-on DC Amp meter. I measured an average of 120 amps, or 60 amps per switch contact set (IF the load is equally distributed between the two contact sets). Conclusion: At least the replacement Load switch (and probably the original Load switch) is grossly underrated, by a factor of 1/3, for this application. Burnout of this switch is apparently a common occurrence since doing a search for battery testers on Amazon.com strangely also includes a listing for this 1260 switch.

2) I found that the analysis meter reads between 0.4 and 0.5 volts high (at 12.5 vdc when compared with three accurate digital voltmeters). This is an incredible amount of error when proper analysis requires a basic accuracy of 0.1 volt.

3) When I called Milton's Customer Service and said the Load switch quit working the person said "I must of had it on too long", i.e. it was the customer's fault for the problem. For each test I only had the switch on for the literature recommended 10 second test evaluation interval. If the company believes this is wrong then they should correct their written procedures. Additionally, I suggested that they could just send me a new switch since it looked like replacement of the switch would be an easy task, and that it would save us both time and money if I were to do the work. They wouldn't agree to do it that way, that instead I would have to send the unit back to them for warrantee service. Also, I found it interesting that none of the packaging or accompanying literature listed their phone number (toll free or otherwise). I had to find it by doing an internet search. Conclusion: This is not a customer friendly company.

Finally, in all fairness, I must say that I think that parts of the design are very good. The expanded scale meter is quite readable with clearly defined analysis colored areas. Also, the use of a separate set of wires within the two cables to the battery terminal clips is critical for properly measuring true battery voltage.

I had two Battery testers ,one was my old Snap On that I had for over 30 years , like a fool I sold it in a garage sale because I had bought a new MILTON 1260 tester, well after using the meter 2 times the load switch quit,a disassembly of the switch showed the little plastic contacts MELTED and the switch failed. Its funny that after using my Snap On all of these years Milton is saying that I held the switch on two long. The switch is under rated, a much heavier switch is needed, I will find my own replacement switch and repair it myself.IF I WERE TO DO IT AGAIN I WOULD NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT,IT HAS A VERY POOR LOAD SWITCH.

Buy Milton 1260 Battery-Starter Charging System Tester Now

Had this tester for 2 years. Used the tester maybe a total of 10 times. After only minimal use the Load Switch failed. When I contacted Milton they we little or No help. Its a useful piece of equipment but rendered usless with a defective Load switch and Milton wanted nothing to do with correcting the problem.

We use them all the time.... Had many over the years and never a problem. The Warranty helped sell also. Very easy to use.

Pyle PLCM4300WIR Rear View Mirror Wireless Back-Up Camera System with 4.3-Inch TFT Touch Screen and

Pyle PLCM4300WIR Rear View Mirror Wireless Back-Up Camera System with 4.3-Inch TFT Touch Screen and Universal Mount Low Lux Camera with Scale Line
  • 4.3'' TFT/ LCD Video Monitor Built-In into Full Size Rearview Mirror with Built-In Anti-Glare -
  • Dual Video Inputs AV1 (DVD, TV, GPS, ETC) AV2 (camera) with Automatic Reverse Line Trigger - Low Lux Night Vision Camera with CMD sensor
  • Touch Screen On Screen Display - Signal System: NTSC/PAL/Auto Switch - 170° L/R Viewing Angle
  • Universal Clip On Over Existing Rearview Mirror - Contrast Ratio: 300:1 - Power Supply DC 12 Volts
  • 16:9 Wide Screen Video Format - 2.4 Gig Hz Wireless Video Sender
  • Receiver Allows for Wireless Video Transfer from Rear Mount Camera to Front Mount Video Monitor (Max Distance 25 Meter/ 82.02 Feet) -
  • Screen Dimensions: 3.03''W x 0.98''H x 10.78''D
  • Resolution: 480(H) x 271(V) - Universal Mount Micro Sized Video Camera - Camera Dimensions: 0.59'' x 0.82''

The good news is that the system is flexible. The bad news is that installation is not a simple task, and the system is not a complete panacea to all rear vision problems.

1. The mirror, with its built-in LCD, fits over the existing mirror, and seems to me to be likely to fit a wide variety of factory models. The problem is that it is a little darker than a standard mirror.

2. You can mount the camera wherever makes sense, rather than being locked into, say, the license plate rim. This is a huge benefit for a car like ours, a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, with its massive spare tire smack in the middle of the back end of the car. We ended up mounting it atop the center brake light. High up so it gets a good view, and it's not blocked by anything, including the Thule bike rack (T2 with extension, tray model).

3. You can choose to use the wireless transmitter and receiver, or the wire, to connect the camera to the screen. We chose wired because everyone we spoke with said that wireless was spotty, suffering interference. We didn't test that, so I am only reporting what we heard. But it's hard to argue with the idea that a hard-wired system will provide better performance than a wireless system. And although there is less effort required to configure it as wireless, that is only one of the many steps/connections in the overall process. So I am not sure how much time (or money) you save.

4. Installation was a bit daunting, and I am pretty handy. We ended up getting it installed professionally, about $200 or $300. Yeah, that adds to the cost! But they did a very nice job. If you think you'll do it yourself, just make sure you either have experience or have time to learn.

5. Performance is good, not perfect. The screen is relatively small. In daylight the view is pretty good, while at night it is poor. You can still see, given the light from the brake and reverse lights, but it's not exactly crystal clear. It would be nice to have infrared, or even white LED light, but you can see something. The grid lines are not to scale (possibly because of where we placed the camera?). But it's OK, a definite improvement over the terrible visibility rearward from the front seat of the Jeep.

The bottom line: OK system, flexible in many ways, big improvement if you have terrible visibility, not super-easy to install. I guess I'm glad I bought it and got it installed, but it was fairly expensive in the end. Hopefully it will help us not crunch into things...

Buy Pyle PLCM4300WIR Rear View Mirror Wireless Back-Up Camera System with 4.3-Inch TFT Touch Screen and Now

I installed this Pyle wireless backup mirror system about 3 months ago and am very satisfied with its performance. I bought one of the like new returns when price was below half the new price. The return came without the original box, but included all the wiring and the instructions.

The main reason I selected this unit over the others brands and models was that the clip on screen is nearly the exact size of a standard rearview mirror. This was important as I park in a public transportation parking lot during the work day and did not want the unit easily visible for fear of theft. The parking lot is also the reason I needed the camera in the first place. The second reason was that this unit has a wireless and wired option which no other unit on Amazon seemed to have. I was surprised, but the wireless option worked fairly well for an F-150 (transmitter mounted in the bumper and the receiver in the kick panel). I do get some static on occasion, but this is usually cleared up by tapping the brake. My only other complaint is that the mirror is slightly darker than the original mirror and the screen has low brightness (probably for low power useage) so it can be hard to view in a bright setting (from other reviews this is a common issue with other models as well). The mild static and reduced visibility of the mirror is why I give it 4 stars. Overall I highly recommend this unit.

One note is the stock Amazon picture is wrong the 4.3" display is not in the middle, but is on the right side of the mirror which I like.

*****************************************************************************

Some install notes for those interested:

First of all the directions that come with the unit are fairly short and generic so you need to do some research on your car's wiring. What is essential is determining the backup light wire color for your car. I have an F-150 and after 15 minutes of searching on the internet I found a forum that posted the correct color wire (for a 97-03 F-150 the backup light wire is black with pink stripe). For tools I would suggest wire (I used 22 gauge), wire strippers, needle nose pliers, wire taps red, wire nuts, wire loom, electrical tape, zip ties, and a volt meter. Also, for testing I used a 12V DC converter switch in the cigarette lighter to power the receiver and screen ($8 from radioshack). Overall I got everything hooked up and tested in less than an hour. Mounting the units and camera just the way I wanted took about 2 to 3 hours as I built a bracket to mount the camera within the bumper and wanted the wiring tied down neatly.

As for the other reviewers who complain that it is complicated I have to disagree. I may be an engineer, but it is not rocket science. There is a wireless transmitter, wireless receiver (both labeled), a camera, a wire for the screen connection, a yellow composite video wire for the wired install, and an alternative power wire for the camera (if you choose not to use the wired option). Transmitter and camera go to the rear of the car while the receiver and screen power wire go to the front.

In the rear of the truck I mounted the camera and transmitter n the bumper. The F-150 had a small hole near the license plate for a sensor that was perfect for the camera. The backup wire and ground wire were really easy to find as it goes to the trailer hitch. I used some wire taps, wire loom, electrical tape, and mounting putty to put everything in the bumper securely.

For the screen install the wire from the mirror was just long enough to run up around the top of the windshield and down to the driver side kick panel. Here I used the 12V cigarette lighter to power the unit. After about two months of use I decided to hook it up permanently. I found a permanent 12V source for the mirror (don't worry about battery drain as it is low power and powers off after a few minutes without video input). The same 12V backup light wire was also present in the kick panel. Here I hooked up the wireless receiver and the green wire from the screen to the 12V backup wire. The green wire from the screen tells the screen to power on and switch to camera input any time you put the car in reverse (or anytime there is a 12V on that wire). PLEASE NOTE: I highly recommended using a volt meter to test the wires to ensure that they is either constant 12V or 12V when the car is in reverse before connecting the electronics.

The video connection is pretty obvious AV2 is for the input from the camera receiver (or the provided composite video wire). This is what the screen automatically turns to if you hookup the green wire. There is a secondary video source that can be selected which can be used for another camera or alternative video source such as a ipod or dvd player connection. Hope this helps.

I bought this camera/mirror for my ranger because I needed to replace my factory mirror due to it being broken, and also because I have a camper shell on my truck and cant see very well behind me. It was super simple to set up and install. The instructions were a little lacking, so I decided to make this video to help others see how simple and easy it can be. I changed the way that it installed so that I could turn the camera on at any time and see what was going on behind me. The picture is incredibly clear and detailed. I really wasn't expecting the high quality. I use it every day, and it works great! I love it!!

Want Pyle PLCM4300WIR Rear View Mirror Wireless Back-Up Camera System with 4.3-Inch TFT Touch Screen and Discount?

While I like the clarity of the camera and monitor, as well as the distance lines, this product only gets 3 stars from me for the following reasons:

As mentioned by others before, the instructions are very lacking in detail.

The Amazon website images, the original packaging and the images on the Pyle website are misleading in several ways.

1. The form factor of the actual mirror/monitor is different.

2. The monitor is not in the center of the mirror, it is towards the right side.

3. The "mirror" section of the unit isn't mirrored at all. It is simply glass on a black background. While Pyle may call this "anti-glare", it is actually anti-mirror. I have factory tinted windows on my Tundra and factory tinted back-glass on my truck cap and this lack of mirroring makes the mirror part useless except at night, and only then because other vehicles have their headlights on. Yet, the factory Toyota mirror can see through the tint just fine at all hours of the day or night.

I would more-correctly call this a factory-mirror-obscuring-video-monitor-mount.

Don't get me wrong, the camera and monitor work just fine, but I wonder if sacrificing the use of my rear-view mirror is worth it?

Compared to previous models, the installation is so much easier with fewer wires to run. The system worked the first time. I only had one hole to drill and the connections were made with wire nuts. I especially like the line scale in the display that estimates the distance to objects.

Go Power! GP-SW600-12 600-Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter

Go Power! GP-SW600-12 600-Watt Pure Sine Wave InverterThis is a product review of the GPSW-600-12. It shows the inverter from all angles and shows how to hook the inverter to a battery using the Go Power! DC installation kit (GPDC-Kit2). It shows the inverter being overloaded with 1000 watts and how to reset the inverter after being overloaded. It also shows the GPSW-600-12 running 800 watts of Light bulbs continuous. It also shows a large drill being used off of the inverter as well as a skill saw. It also shows the UL (Underwriters Labratories) listing that the inverter has.

Larger and heavy than expected. Installation was a snap with kit installed with 6 12V batterys in my fifth wheel.

I am using this inverter for continuous duty, electronics support. I'm very pleased with the performance thus far. It uses quality external components. It does emit a high frequency whine like most inverters of this type. You will need an enclosure with an STC (Sound Transmission Class) of about 45 to isolate the noise. Search wikipedia.com for an explanation. GFCI is also a nice plus. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

About a week after I received my GP-SW600 we had our first power outage thanks to a bad wind storm that also blew down several trees on my property. The outage only lasted a few hours but during this time we were able to watch TV, surf the internet with a notebook computer and run a lamp with a 7 watt LED bulb all at the same time. I wasn't even close to using 600 watts but the TV, satellite, modem, router, etc. all worked flawlessly with no hint that the power was coming from a 12 volt deep cycle battery. I have only used it once so I can't say anything about long term reliability and performance but based upon my limited experience this is a top quality unit that will do what it is supposed to do and do it well. It is definitely a step up from my modified sine wave inverters. If you want to run things with variable speed motors such as certain power tools, or if you want to run sensitive electronics such as notebook computers and routers, then I highly recommend this inverter.

Motorola T215 Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone Sun Visor kit (Bulk Packaging)

Motorola T215 Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone Sun Visor kitThis is a great product. It was easy to set up and the clarity is great; as good as the in car one that came with my Prius. The only downside is that there is no way to know when the charge is running low so I tend to keep it hooked up to the car charger most of the time. Hence four stars not five.

I bought this for my husband to use in his truck. He is on the road most of the day and his job requires several phone calls in and out all day. The speaker phone allows him to voice activate to make calls without using his cell phone. Much safer and more efficient then having to stop every time he needs to make or receive a call. Works very well so far and has far more capability than I realized when I purchased it. Well worth it! Good value for the price.

There are higher priced speakerphones out there but this one had been a reliable workhorse. Have purchased 6 of these for the whole family. Been using my original one for a couple of years. Only charge it maybe every two months and talk to my wife every word day all the way home, 15 minutes. To connect I have to make sure and turn on Bluetooth on my Galaxy Skyrocket first then turn on the speakerphone power. Connects every time.

Optima 8006-006-FFP BlueTop Group 34 Marine BatteryBelow is a copy of the email I got from Optima regarding a battery purchased from Amazon.

So be aware the money you are thinking you are saving maybe costing you big time. You should also know that for marine batteries Otima is strongly reccomending the use of there $200 charger to keep them charged properly.

Hello John,

Amazon.com is not an authorize online OPTIMA retailer, We do not know where they acquire the OPTIMA batteries nor does Amazon.com honor the OPTIMA warranty.

For the price it is NOT durable..these didn't last two seasons with proper maintenance... I would not recommend these batteries in the North where the weather isn't perfect for them...

I purchased two Optima batteries in the past for a sailboat that had an outboard motor and was pleased with it's performance. My starter battery in my current boat was no longer holding a charge, so I decided to find a replacement. I went with Optima because of it's performance and design. It is currently in storage as I wait for the next boating season. I look forward to installing it in my boat this spring.

Have only had the product a limited time, but was quick and easy to insall new battery. Two weeks before I bought this one I bought one locally in an emergency situation for the boat battery that was dead. Before a trip to Bimini decided to change out the other battery just to be safe and it was simple to install and $70 less than at retail store. So far so good. I don't like to review a product until it's been used for at least 4-6 months but its a battery with very good warranty and reputation so I'm not too worried about it.

Permatex 80370 Battery Protector and Sealer, 5 oz. net Aerosol Can

Permatex 80370 Battery Protector and Sealer, 5 oz. net Aerosol CanI've used this Permatex product for many years and with a good coating it completely prevents corrosion on the battery terminals (use Permatex 80369 Battery Cleaner first if you already have corrosion link below). Even if you don't consider yourself a 'do it your selfer', this is very easy to apply and is a must have. It will prevent battery cable damage and save you from getting stranded because of poor cable connectivity caused by corrosion.

Permatex 80369 Battery Cleaner 6 oz aerosol can, 5.75 oz net wt

I used it on a rusty battery terminals after cleaning them off. It works fine at preventing rust. The only thing is that the bottle is relatively small and that I think rust can be prevented using any grease no need for special "battery grease".

Buy Permatex 80370 Battery Protector and Sealer, 5 oz. net Aerosol Can Now

This stuff is impossible to find at local auto parts stores. Both walmart and auto parts stores carry a different brand, which leaves the red coating and is in a much smaller bottle. However, i've come to realize over the years that Permatex products are good-to-go, top-notch products. From brake cleaner to this stuff, you can't go wrong with Permatex. This product goes on purple, and one can immediately tell the difference in material quality over the other brands. Does a phenominal job at preventing corrossion on battery terminals. Good stuff.

Corrosion was eating away at the positive terminal of my 2010 Nissan Titan to the point where I had to replace the terminal connector itself. I cleaned it several times with various advertised products, only to have it return. This was the only product that kept it from coming back. Kind of seems like a spray paint. I also tried vaseline which didn't work at all to prevent the corrosion.

Want Permatex 80370 Battery Protector and Sealer, 5 oz. net Aerosol Can Discount?

Foul smelling. Messy. It probably protects okay, but you'd better mask off all adjacent areas before spraying. Otherwise you'll have nasty purple gunk everywhere you don't want it. It is difficult to spray just the right amount in only the area you intend it to go. I expected it to dry or set up, but it's pretty runny and I don't think it ever sets up. Maybe that's what it's designed to do, but I had hoped for something less messy than petroleum jelly or grease products, but this isn't it.

Pros: Above average cable quality, good signal transfer, fairly rugged

Cons: VERY difficult to remove, shell that attaches to RCA terminal can come loose/unscrew easily

Purchased this through an Amazon vendor at a price that was roughly half that of a local store. Has been through two cars in two years and cables are still going pretty strong. The tendency of the terminal ends to unscrew and the difficulty of removing it is probably going to get me to shy away from Kicker RCAs in the future.

Husky Liners Classic Style Custom Fit Molded Front Floor Liner for Select Ford Models (Black)

Husky Liners Classic Style Custom Fit Molded Front Floor Liner for Select Ford ModelsFrankly, these floor mats are absolutely underwhelming.

Was expecting a heavy-duty, rubberized mat capable of standing up to cold weather and rough use in my 2012 Econoline. Instead, the mats are plastic and very thin. Not sure they will make it through the upcoming autumn rains and winter snow.

On the plus side, well-molded and fit perfectly.

But oh so underwhelming. Not saying they are not worth buying. But I am saying they don't seem to me to be worth the price. Will be looking elsewhere for something better.

These mats fit perfectly and provide maximum protection for the carpet underneath from dirt and moisture. Highly recommend them.

pros: has red (not charging), yellow (charging), green (charged) light that is fairly big and easy to see.

cons: the coiled cord makes placing your ipod, say on your car seat, anything over 1 foot away difficult. you need to strategically place the ipod near the car charger outlet.

Yuasa Maintenance Free Battery YTX20L-BS YUAM320BS

Yuasa Maintenance Free Battery YTX20L-BS YUAM320BSI ordered this battery from DVolt Batteries via Amazon. The battery arrives un-activated. That means that you have to fill it with sulfuric acid and then charge it. Sounds fairly easy, just realize that it takes quite a while before it will be ready to use. And Sulfuric acid is kinda scary stuff to work with.

The battery arrived quicker than expected. Brownie points for DVolt for very quick shipping. The acid is actually very easy and safe to use it's in a container with six cells that match/line-up with the battery cells exactly. you align the acid cells with the battery cells and press down, the battery will puncture the acid cells and then the acid flows into the battery. Slowly. This takes over half an hour, closer to an hour.

After the battery has been filled with acid, you remove the empty acid cells, place a permenant cap on the battery (make sure you line it up exactly), then let it sit for a coyuple hours. Next, check the voltage it will be low. There are guidelines supplied by the manufacturer. finally you have to trickle charge it, basically overnight. Next day you're ready to go.

My bettery came slightly damaged in shipping. I didn't notice the damage until I was ready to install it. I let DVolt know via Amazon and they were very good to work with. It took a couple tries to get the problem resolved, but I now have a good, functional battery. Another brownie point for DVolt.

I have another YUASA battery, the same model, and it's performed flawlessly for 6 years now, even sitting outside one Minnesota winter. I love these batteries! I don't care much for the mail order activation part of it, but it's really not that bad.

Purchased this battery March, 2012 for ATV based on the One Warranty as stated in the product features site as follows: "Product Features Comes with pre-measured acid tubes that dealer easily empties into battery. Includes a seal that is then placed across top of battery to create a sealed, spill-proof battery. Never needs refilling but may need periodic charging. 1-year manufacturers warranty". The battery started failing within the one year and yes it was charged since the ATV is new and charging system verified. I initially contacted Amazon on January 29, 2012 referencing this purchase explaining the battery will not hold a charge and at this point requesting a replacement. After 18 emails back and forth with Amazon acknowledging that yes the features do state this battery has a one year warranty but they will not replace and D Volt does not honor what is stated on the site even thought it was sold with a stated ONE YEAR WARRANTY. D Volt and Amazon sold this battery based on the stated features of a ONE YEAR WARRANTY and now blatantly lie when time to honor their obligations. So do not purchase this battery from D Volt what so ever. Remember 18 email exchanges with all the excuses from there is only a six month when the site clearly states 12 months and when confronted about features in a screen shot Amazon agreed with the features but then stated D volt was not going to honor what they agreed too. The emails are there to prove how this company, D Volt and Amazon, is ready to sell but not honor their obligations.

The dimensions stated in the item description are incorrect. Actual dimensions for this model are Height-6 1/8", Length-6 7/8", Width-3 7/16". It is very important to have accurate battery dimensions when selling motorcycle batteries. The battery boxes on most bikes are made to encase a set size battery. Any deviation from this will result in the battery not fitting in the battery box properly. I would not trust this seller. They should do their due diligence by reporting the correct size of the battery they are selling. Motorcycles are not Cars and every part on them is optimized for size and space considerations.

I bought the Yuasa because it is original equipment on Honda motorcycles and it has performed wonderfully! The acid is very easy to use for filling the new battery upon arrival.

Sony MEXBT4100P Car Receiver with Bluetooth Receiver, Remote Radio with Pandora

Sony MEXBT4100P Car Receiver with Bluetooth Receiver, Remote Radio with Pandora
  • Integrated Bluetooth with Simple Secure Pairing
  • App Remote for iPhone & Android smart phones
  • Front USB in for iPod, iPhone & other USB devices
  • Pandora internet radio app control
  • Dynamic Color Illuminator with Sound Synchronization

I bought this unit for the family minivan recently. The wife commented how she wished she could play her Android phone through the stereo like I could (Kenwood w/aux input) so I bought the Sony. She was instantly upset claiming that it would look terrible and she could never figure out how to use my stereo. I installed it anyway with an Axxess AWSC interface so she could even keep her steering wheel controls. I used a (Metra?) install kit that included a lower pocket under the radio that gave it a more factory appearance and also eliminated the need for the radio trim plate. The included Mic was a neat little bonus, took a little to route the wire down the A pillar and over the instrument cluster but it makes the whole package just that much cooler. OK, so everything installed easily, I soldered and heatshrinked my adapter harness (Schose?) together and included the steering wheel adapter into this main harness. After the reassembly it really looked clean. I went through the menu to set everything up, paired my phone and wow, clean sound using Bluetooth from my phone. The audio setup options are plentiful, the eq presets are great and you can tweak it if you like. The display has 35,000 color options, I prefer the random fade. It also allows you to make calls from your contact list using just the radio interface. The final test was when the wife came home and I showed her how to use it. She loved it, she paired her phone, made a call, played some music and life was good. Now I am jealous and want to upgrade my aging stereo to Bluetooth!

Update: After a couple weeks my wife informed me that the clock would randomly display an incorrect time for about 5 minutes and even pointed it out when it happened so I did witness that anomaly. She also said the speakers faded in and out at times but I haven't confirmed that issue myself. Still pleased with the unit, it pairs up quickly. Unfortunately our phones will play for about 15 minutes before rebooting. This is obviously a phone issue though, re-pairing is required but pretty easy with the right widgets set up.

I bought this car receiver last week. Its very ease to install and use, I am very pleased with the equipment. However, I have problem connecting my Iphone 4s via USB , the equipment do not recognise the phone. I have tried with differents cables and it does not works with the Iphone 4s but it work as espected with my ipod 4th generation and a pendrive. I have talked with Sony customer service as well as Apple's and none of them gave me a solution or diagnostic. Nonetheless is a very good stereo.

Husky Liners Custom Fit Heavy Duty Front Floor Mat (Black)

Husky Liners Custom Fit Heavy Duty Front Floor MatBeware! Even though this Husky floor mat listed itself as a correct fit for a Lexus RX 350, the front mats were too small and did not provide proper coverage. The product description even contained erroneous information (which I relied on before I made my purchase). In the product description, it lists front mat size as 37 x 22 x 2 inches -NOT ACCURATE! With my tape measure in hand (after extreme disappointment that the floor mats did not fully cover my front floor area) I measured myself. The actual/correct measurement of the front floor mats is 28 x 18 x 2 inches. A very noticeable difference! The quality of the mat itself was very good. My entire problem was that it was not the size it claimed to be and it does not properly fit a Lexus RX 350. Amazon was a pleasure to deal with and I was able to return at no charge and get a full refund. Subsequently, I purchased the WeatherTech 440141 floor mat -more expensive, good quality and fits exactly. I actually preferred the material of the Husky liner (heavier, flexible rubber), vs. the WeatherTech (lighter, not as flexible and more "plasticy") but material aside, the WeatherTech provides perfect coverage and protection of my carpets.

I bought this for a PTCruiser (front seats): The fit is better than others I have had, and the mat seems substantial.

These liners are super. They are very thick and while not a perfect fit for my 07 Toyota Avalon they do provide excellent floor coverage. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought these for my husband's 2008 Corolla. The claim was that they were a perfect fit but it isn't. It is very close, but we had to trim a little off for the driver's side mat. Overall not a big deal, I still highly recommend these mats.

Even though they ask for specific model information about your car these are not custom fit until you trim them. They are sturdy and should last as long as the car does.
