Viper Responder 3305V 2-way Car Alarm Security System w/ Keyless Entry, One LCD 2-way Remote and On
March 31st, 2012 my car was broken into and my thief/thieves got me for roughly $700.00 worth of electronics.
-------------
After searching around and reviewing many alarm models that are on the market, I ended up choosing this alarm because it was the most affordable, packed some great features, and is made by a name I know I can trust. If you are looking for a product that is going to protect your vehicle, this is a great choice. The only feature I have found that it DOESN'T have is REMOTE START, though it supposedly has the option (I haven't been able to find out how it is utilized through my research). I installed this unit myself, therefore I have read all about it.
ABOUT THE ALARM:
Ability to monitor your Dome Light, make it flash (if alarm is triggered), make it stay on for 30 seconds after you leave the vehicle.
Ability to monitor door triggers/Switches. Basically if the door is opened, the alarm is triggered.
Ability to monitor a trunk/hood pin. If the hood/trunk is opened, the alarm is triggered.
Ability to monitor ignition switch position. If the key is turned, the alarm is triggered.
Ability to disable the starter from functioning. If the alarm is armed, the starter is disabled.
Ability to lock/unlock your doors.
Ability to wire TWO of your own functions to the AUX channels. (Turn stereo on, pop trunk as examples)
Ability to detect vibrations. (The Shock sensor is built into the brain)
Ability to be wired into your lights, so they will flash when alarm is armed/unarmed/triggered.
Ability to control a BRIGHT BLUE LED to warn thieves.
-------These are the essentials to protection. There are other useful features, and options where you can program it to your liking.
As a example, if you were to want it to roll your windows up when you step away from the vehicle, this alarm can do it.
I recommend this alarm, unless remote start is something you desire. If not, get this device. At first, I was skeptical to purchase this online from Amazon. I didn't want to pay anything more than what I had to for installation. The product came with everything I needed for installation. The product is great! The 2-way remote is kind of bulky and takes up space on your keychain but if you're paranoid like me and always wonder if you locked your doors or not, it is the greatest invention ever. It shows you that your car is either locked or not locked. That way you do not have to walk all the way back to your car to check if the car is locked.I just had this alarm installed recently and I must say I works great. All the features work as advertised and having the two-way remote is great for added security and peace of mind. I haven't tested the range of the remote yet but it works fine from across a large parking lot. I definitely recommend buying this alarm from Amazon and having it installed professionally. You will save probably $100 over buying it from the shop that installs it.This alarm is pretty good, well worth the price I paid for it, as it was a lot cheaper on Amazon than it was on Viper's actual website. Of course, I had the alarm professionally installed and it works great from across parking lots. The signal doesn't transfer too well through large buildings and walls, but that's expected, as this is the lower grade version of the Viper alarms.
It comes with 2 remotes that are pretty nice and the batteries last fairly long in each remote. Also, a blue LED light comes with this alarm that blinks when the alarm is armed, looks cool at night and is sure to scare away any intruders. Tons of other cool features and add ons for this alarm great buy. Also, the seller shipped item very fast. Great service.I bought this alarm recently as was about to move to another apartment but still staying at my current place. I bought it having trust issues about my new place. When it arrived I immediately installed it in my 2004 Ford Taurus. But the strangest thing happened on the following day when some character attempted to break into my car with not even 24 hours passing after the installation!! The monitor alerted me that the car was being tampered with so I ran out to see what the issue was. There, I saw a character trying to break in and he bolted when he saw me. Hmm? Just as I installed it someone came to break in? Unbelievable! I still don't know what may have happened but thank God my car is still there in one piece! Thanks to VIPERI STILL HAVE MY CAR!!! A great choice you will not regret!

Kenwood X500 "X series" 500 Watt Digital Mono Car Audio Amplifier with Small Footprint for Easy Ins
- 500W Peak Power
- 300W RMS x 1 at 4ohms
- 500W RMS x 1 at 2ohms
- RMS Watts per channel @ 4 ohms, 1% THD+N 83 dBA
- Signal to Noise Ratio (Reference: 1 Watt into 4 ohms)
All in all though I am pleased with this amp. Powerful enough. Small and compact. Barely gets hot. Even after hours of hard running. Uses barely any juice. Played for about 6 hours without the car running. Not so lucky with past amps. Lets just say had to replace a couple car batteries. Would have given it a 4 or 5 star review if it were just a little more consistent with its power distribution. Anyways, still a good amp for a simple setup.I put this in my truck 2 months ago and since then it has been working great. I have it all wired with 8 gauge stinger wiring to the 4 ohm shallow 10 inch Kenwood excelon sub. This combinations bumbs! The amp barely gets warm after a hour of use and i have had no problems with it at all. I like how small and easy to install it is because it's class D so you can almost put it anywhere. Puts out plenty of power especially in my single cab. The on-board fuses are nice to have too! Definitely a good buy.I purchased this to power a single twelve in a ported box and it gets the job done and done well. merchandise came exactly as advertised and shipping was really fast especially since it was so close to Christmas.Cannot go wrong with Kenwood Excelon Amps. This is an awesome product! Currently have a single 10" Kenwood Excelon Sub and the match is perfect!Great amplifier powering one 12, this amp delivers the goods. If your looking to make an investment in car audio and do not have much money then this will suit your needs for a beginner.

Pyle PLVHR75 7-Inch TFT Widescreen Headrest Monitor
The LCD display is 1440x234, and handles both NTSC and PAL composite video.
The connecting cable as supplied with my unit has two female RCA video inputs, a green accessory power wire (with no connector on it) which can be left unconnected on a home-use unit, a red positive power wire with both male and female bullet-crimp connectors on it, and a black ground wire with a 1/4" spade lug connector. The power wires go through a small box with a glass fuse and EMI/power filter inside. All of those connections then go to a single, 6-foot cable with a kind of subminature DIN connector which then attaches to the unit. The unit I have does not have audio inputs on it, and the cable did not exactly match the one seen in the PLVHR75 manual found online.
The unit comes with a short stand with adjustments for viewing angle. While this was designed for a headrest, it can also stand on a desktop.
As mentioned, brief manuals for the unit can be found at the PYLE website. The English translations are a kind of poetry. This is a great little monitor for a great price.
The picture quality is good for a screen this size and it's bright as can be. The colors are great also.
A few notes...
The power is given as a negative and positive wire, so you'll have to wire a plug yourself. I wired up a 12v, 800ma power supply and it worked fine.
Also, I've read reviews about these kinds of monitors complaining that they do not work with a computer. The device has 2 RCA inputs, the kind of round yellow plugs you find coming from a DVD player or game system. This won't work with a computer unless it has an RCA output.
The screen can be removed from the headrest shroud (which is not a little cloth thing, as I expected, but a plastic frame) and works great with the stand.
If you're looking for a little monitor for the car or some small time watching in the home, this is a great option with awesome features for the price.

I bought two of these monitors for my kids along with a universal headreast mound because they were too big to mount in the actual headrest. They worked fine for a month or two, then one of them turns off by itself and cannot be turned back one without remove power multiple times. I have tried to contact Pyle by email about a month ago and they haven't replied yet. I will try to call them tomorrow, hopefully we can get this resolved.Read Best Reviews of Pyle PLVHR75 7-Inch TFT Widescreen Headrest Monitor Here
This display is designed for installation in a car. It has composite video inputs (2 total one for a DVD, one for a backup camera). The power is designed to be wired into the 12vdc car power. So, do not buy this for your home or computer.Want Pyle PLVHR75 7-Inch TFT Widescreen Headrest Monitor Discount?

T225 Bluetooth Car Kit
I requested a review unit of this T225 because the limitation of our T325 per-vehicle solution has been that if my wife and I swap cars, we don't have hands-free calling unless the first person out remembers to also swap the speakerphone units.
This T225 speakerphone pairs with multiple cell phones so that more than one person can use it hands-free. The extra people might be in the vehicle (which would be a little weird, as the microphone would typically be on the driver's sun visor). But, in a multi-driver household, any driver would have hands-free operation.
What's not to like? Well, all of the features of the T325 that this speakerphone does not have which make the T325 more "hands-free" than the T225.
This is a very basic, 'dumb' unit. When a phone rings, it announces that the call is for Phone 1, Phone 2, etc. If two paired phones are in the car, you have to have some idea which phone is 1 or 2 (etc) to know if it is your phone that is ringing or someone else's. Doesn't sound like a huge deal, but...
What about when only one of multiple paired phones is in the car? This phone simply rings and says that there is an incoming call. You have no idea who it is from. The T325 announces the caller by name. If you don't want to answer the call on this T225, you have to somehow press both the volume UP and DOWN buttons at the same time. With the T325, you just press a single button.
How about dialing? Both support voice dialing using your phones own voice-dialing feature. So, the intelligence depends on your phone itself. But, what about calling your 'favorites' or frequently called numbers? The T225 offers nothing. The T325 memorizes a list of favorite contacts and easily lets you scroll through the list with one button, listening to the name being announced and then pressing the dial button when the name comes up.
Entering the car, the T325 announces "Connected to John Smith's iPhone. Battery level is high" (e.g.) while the T225 announces "Connected to Phone 1. Battery level is high." Receiving a call, the T325 announces "Call from David Jackson". The T225 announces "Call for Phone 1".
The T225 is so limited its only real feature is the ability to pair with multiple phones that I just cannot recommend it, when I consider how powerful and useful the T325 is.
I've posted a photo showing both the T225 and T325 clipped to the sun visor to compare their sizes/shapes. Open it up, turn it on. Pair your phone with it.
That is it. The device is simple, it does one thing, and it does it well. Sound quality is clear, people say they can't tell I'm on a speakerphone (but I use Sprint and their voice quality is not so good.
There are other models that do more, I read the three star review, but I put it to you this way: You want a device that does one thing and does it well, and you want the battery to last as long as it can so that you can use your phone as long as you can. The more features you load on to the device, the more the battery wears down, and the harder it is to use, or the more likely you are to get it into an odd state.
It really is a top quality device, and I have nothing bad to say about it. Voice instructions for hookup, you really do not need the instructions.

In a different product review, I proclaimed the Supertooth HD as a near-perfect Bluetooth device for hands-free use. I came up with a list of 14 criteria items. I will post that list here and that will show why I rate the Motorola T225 as 2-stars.What makes the perfect car bluetooth speakerphone?
==============
1. It should have caller-id that speaks the name of the caller
The Motorola T225 does not have caller-id.
2. It should automatically turn on/off as you are away from the car
The T225 is pretty bad in this department. While it seems to have an auto-off, it will never turn itself back on unless you purposely move the micro-power-switch off and back on again. I tested this multiple times and it simply has no way to turn itself back on automatically. It is waaay too inconvenient to have to remember to turn this device off and back on each and every single time you enter your car.
3. It should have ample volume while driving at highway speeds
Volume on the T225 is pretty pathetic. The Supertooth HD is probably 4x louder.
4. You should only have to press a single and easily accessible button to answer or place a call
This is a really bad design on the T225. It has a mute button and an answer call button, both are the same size and you have to remember which button to press or...take your eyes off the road and look up to see which button you are pressing. Sure you will memorize it eventually, but the device is so small, if you're off by 2 inches, you'll press the wrong button.
5. It should make use of your phone's built-in voice recognition system (if your phone has this)
Confirmed, this works.
6. It should be easy to pair and auto-download your phone's contacts
Yes, easy to pair multiple phones, but there's no caller-id name announce, therefore, it does not store contacts. This is a huge deal-breaker why have the fancy technology of bluetooth, if it won't announce who is calling you ?
7. It should reconnect easily when you are in the car
Does not do this at all once it has auto-turned itself off. You must physically move the power switch off and back on.
8. Callers should be able to hear you clearly at highway speeds
Callers seem to hear me fine, but I couldn't hear them because of the low speaker volume, with volume turned all the way up
9. The charging port should not be obstructed when the device is installed on a sunvisor
Not obstructed
10. It should have a long battery life
Seems to be as advertised, but probably because it turns itself completely off, you must manually turn it on each time after it auto-powers off.
11. It should be reliable whether it is -40 degrees in Fargo or the internal car temperature reaches 140 degrees in Texas
Unknown at this time
12. It should have good documentation or manufacturer's website and support
Motorola has always been good about this.
13. It should be usable whether the sun visor is flipped down or up
If you flip your visor, you must remove and reposition the device and visor mount.
14. It should be reasonably priced
Compared to the *feature packed* T325, this T225 is over-priced it simply has no real features. If you're going to spend the same amount of money, get the T325 on Amazon. If you want a bluetooth device that matches the 14 criteria items above closer than any other device out there, for a reasonable price, get the Supertooth HD.

I've had this unit for a few months now, and I'm still running off the initial charge! Battery life is amazing, clarity is good, and the bluetooth range is greater than I had anticipated.Pairing was simple, and re-establishing the connection is as easy as turning it off and on again. Big talk button, easy to hit even with gloves on. No complaints, I wish I'd gotten it sooner!

This is truly a universal product. I have a 5 years, old fashioned cell phone from Samsung provided to me by Verizon, which was never happy with any other Bluetooth device. It worked with this one like a charm. Very easy to pair and connect, almost like plug-and-play. The product itself has a very beautiful design and speakerphone is very powerful. Even if you drive with your windows open, you can clearly hear the voice from your call. Battery lasts a lot. This is an excellent deal for the price.I am extremely happy with this product and I recommend it to all users who experienced problems with other Bluetooth devices in the past.
Amazon.com was kind enough to provide this product for me through their Vine Program for reviewing and I was not request to provide a positive review. Opinions expressed here are my own.

Mini Battery Charger Kit for Canon NB-4L, NB-5L Battery - replaces Canon CB-2LV - CB-2LX with fold-
I've used at 120Volts and and 12Volts in the car. Works perfectly in both conditions. It also comes with a Euro adaptor, which I will probably never use.
I couldn't be happier! This was nice -not your usual inexpensive third-party piece of equipment. The module is sturdy, and comes with many extras like the car adapter and EU converter.Product works just fine, in that it charges my batteries, which it is supposed to do. I'll be honest, I have not tried the car adapter, and what with not being in the EU, I have not tried that one either. The only thing is that the wall adapter goes from a totally normal orange-ish light to kind of freaking out and flickering frantically back and forth between green and orange once the battery is charged. But maybe that's just something about my battery. Anyway, that indicates it's charged, and it works fine, so it's all good. (I'd probably give it four and a half stars if I could, because the flickering's a little weird, but since it doesn't affect its functionality, I'll go with five.)At first, the red light charging indicator did not work in my car even though battery was getting charged. I thought the problem was with the indicator. But when powered on wall socket, the red light appeared. Then after subsequent uses, it started working properly in the car too. Could have given 4.5 but now that I don't have any problems with it, I will give a 5.It is a great device.... Does what it aims to do and the extra gadgets for the price was great. Absolutely amazed...

Saw this new charger and since I like this brand (own the NOCO Genius G7200 12V/24V 7200mA Fully Automatic Battery Charger and Maintainer (Grey)) I purchased one of these. Way smaller than I though it would be and very light. I was confused at first since there seems to be a lot of cords, lights, buttons. But once I plugged one battery into it, I figured it out. Has everything a normal charger would have just more condensed and 4 of them. If something is not charging it's on standby, but anything else plugged in is charging and you can see the lights blink on levels. There is one master power button if you want it all off. After the intital confusion I am extremely satisfied.Read Best Reviews of NOCO Genius G4 6V/12V 4.4 Amp 4-Bank Smart Battery Charger and Maintainer Here
This charger is awesome! It is a new product and is top of the line. It has 4 different banks on the same box and you can use all 4 chargers at the same time. It is small and super light. Easy to mount to the wall and manage cords. Also, comes with 2 sets of alligators and 2 sets of eyelets. Great deal!Want NOCO Genius G4 6V/12V 4.4 Amp 4-Bank Smart Battery Charger and Maintainer Discount?
I got this charger on a whim to try to get my garage a little more organized. As it says, VERY light and easy to mount to the wall, good quality. It's exactly like my other battery charger just more of them. Have it plugged in to the lawn mower and 2 Harley's. Gets a little warm but nothing to be concerned over and is quiet. I'm happy with this G4 charger.Saturday, September 21, 2013

These mirrors are poorly made, have hardware that doesn't fit a golf cart, and the plastic mounts are flimsy. They are going back. I thought the extra couple of bucks would get me a better product, but just the opposite....I got junk. DO NOT BUY!Want GOLF CART REAR VIEW MIRRORS UNIVERSAL Discount?
I park my cart inside a small shed, having mirrors for backing is very helpful. Using the cart outside the property lets me keep better track of cars.Update 16 Mar 13. Just finished installing these mirrors. A tad tricky you need to remove the mirror from the base to mark the holes and install the lower bolts but NOT difficult. Just pay attention to the way it comes apart and reverse the order for re-assembly. The base is plastic to tighten firmly but not too tight or you might break the base.
The field of vision is VERY good and the mirror is clear and did not vibrate (making a blurry image). I'm even more pleased with my purchase.
