BW Hard Shield Shell Cover Snap On Case for Verizon Samsung Brightside U380 + Car + Home Charger-Bl

BW Hard Shield Shell Cover Snap On Case for Verizon Samsung Brightside U380 + Car + Home Charger-BlackI liked how thw case snapped on easily. It fits well and has a good feel.

The car charger works OK and charges at the same rate as the wall plug.

The wall plug has a nice long cord.

As far as I know the chargers are fine, and the case was thought very highly of. Until today, my son let me know that case (which he's had for two days) broke when he slid his phone open. I'm bummed.

For less than five bucks I got this bundle with two chargers and cover for my brightside. Feels nice to the touch although the slider function seems a bit hindered from this. But it's nice to have the extra protection and the car charger. I wish all little devices used the micro usb plug companies like Apple with their new "unique" charger only serve to make us pay more to them and trash all the old charger cables. What an un-pc and eco-unfriendly move Apple! The chargers here fit my other phones, my kindle and I love this about it.

I got this case to protect my Samsung Brightside, it does its job we'll. I have dropped my phone a few times and there isn't a scratch on it, just on the case. The only problems I had were getting it on all the way. But the good news is that once it is on it is going to stay on for a while. The chargers were a big bonus to the purchase. Overall I recommend this product to anyone looking for a hardcase to their Samsung Brightside.

Belkin F8Z446 Micro Auto Charger with Charge Sync Cable for iPhone and iPod

Belkin F8Z446 Micro Auto Charger with Charge Sync Cable for iPhone and iPodLooks great. Charges just like it promises. But like a couple other reviewers wrote, it causes some radio interference in my car when it's plugged in. For two days, I was convinced that my favorite FM station had closed down and gone off the air. But after a little fumbling around, it turned out it was this charger ... plug it in, no FM reception; unplug, good reception; plug it back in, no reception. I'll probably keep this as a backup, but for now I'm using my old, bulkier charger

Pros-

It is tiny, simple and does the job. I snapped it out of the box and been using it all the time. I love the Sync Cable. I will add it to my travel pack list.

Cons-

It is tiny, darkand easy to forget or misplace. It is so small that is difficult to label! The name tag label I made for it is bigger than the Micro USB Charger unit. My old one was so large it stood out, I never had to look for it! I am going to have to give myself a reminder when traveling to pull it out of the Rental Car.

USES: Why I'd buy it I used it on my first edition iPhone and the latest one, it works reliably. I tried the sync cable to connect my iPhones to my G4, and did Syncing. It is interchangeable with my Apple sync cable.

The USB Auto Charger fits snug, flush in my lighter on my Ford Explorer. This looks so much a part of the car I forget it is there. I am pleased. It charges just as fast as the Apple charger that came with my iPhones. It replaces 2 cables and one charger that is 8x it's size. Sometimes accessories for charging don't fit or work well when the weather goes sour. This thing works, rain or shine. Highly recommended.

I was using a lower current USB car charger on my iPhone and couldn't figure out why after a couple hours of driving and using the TomTom GPS app, that the iPhone was discharging faster then it could charge. After researching it online, I discovered that I need a higher rating charger [1A]. This micro charger from Belkin is affordable and fits nicely into the cigarette power plug. I now just leave it plugged in at all times. So lessson? Not all USB car chargers are the same!

I have a Toyota 4 Runner and the micro charger protrudes out slightly but have zero problems charging my iPhone 3Gs. I also have a BMW and you can replace the cigarette lighter, keep the micro charger plugged in and still close the lid. It hides really well on my BMW because it is micro and unobtrusive. Highly recommended.

Husky Liners Custom Fit Second Seat Floor Liner for Select Jeep Wrangler JK Models (Black)

Husky Liners Custom Fit Second Seat Floor Liner for Select Jeep Wrangler JK ModelsI like these mats, they look cool and u can just rinse them off with the hose to clean, zero complaints from this buyer

Ultimately sold these because of the two piece design and the fact that they have no ability to hold water. It is good to keep the water off the carpet, but slushing back and forth over your feet isn't much better. A mat needs some texture.

ContourHD 720p HD Helmet Camera

ContourHD 720p HD Helmet CameraPros:

Comes with mounting options that can be customized to work for just about any application

Comes with 2 GB SD card

Very well build, doesn't feel cheap at all

Rotating lens to accommodated angles when mounted

No external recording device needed

Cons:

Near HD video, I wouldn't call it HD quality even though the video dimensions are HD, but outstanding for a small wearable camera

*Update: The sound is pretty bad if you are going very fast. The mic location could be better because there is an electronic sounds that dominates the audio at high speeds.

Review:

I bought this camera to help make videos of my dad's Camero and Ducati for his father's day present, mostly just to get another angle. The price was great on Amazon! With all the discounts I got it for $230 which is seventy dollars cheaper than anywhere else. The shipping was great, I ordered it on a Thursday and I arrived on a Monday day.

I just took the camera for a spin mounted on the rear foot peg on my Triumph street bike. I used the included goggle mount, a strap from an old headlamp and some zip ties to secure the camera. The goggle mount can be used to mount it pretty must anywhere that is vertical and has something you can run a zip tie around. The video looked pretty good but like I said earlier I wouldn't call it HD. On my 24 inch iMac it looks pretty blurry and graining even when I am not moving to be considered HD but for a small camera it looks great. It is also nice not to have to have an external recording device and all the wires required for connecting. In both settings, HD and SD the video looks great! Both are in widescreen with the HD at a little higher resolution.

The sound is also great. I was probably going 60 or 70 a few times and the wind was noticeable but not annoying. The sound quality when used in a still setting is amazing for such a small camera. I tested it around the house a few times and the sound was great.

Overall I would recommend this camera to anyone wanting to record Point of View sports action. The quality of the product and video are well worth the price. I would see what you can do with the included mounting options for you order the other mounts. Great product!

I own both the VIO POV.1 and the ContourHD. I must preface this by saying I use these cameras in a unique application, that being on a military helicopter. Both have their pro's and con's but since we are talking about the ContourHD, I will offer this:

Pro's:

Resolution, it is HD of course. It does fish eye a bit more than I would like.

All-in-one: No separate components..everything is literally right in your hand. (can be a draw back) No wires....

Laser for making sure the camera is mounted properly.

USB Chargeable battery with decent life.

30 minutes of HD per gig..comes with a 2 gig card. A larger card really is needed.

PRICE!! Excellent.

Cons:

Not anything close to Mil-Spec like the POV.1 (That thing was built for the military)

On/Off switch can slide back and you would never know it. Fixed in later serial numbers.

Mounting options are minimal.

No lens cover..really? Fix that.

Packaging looks pretty on a shelf but mine arrived bouncing around in the pretty plastic box.

No included case.

The all-in-one design offers limitations for remote operations. You have to be within arms reach to use this thing. Also, you have no ideal what you are shooting or what you shot until you get back to your computer. (The POV.1 has the handheld unit so you can see, and edit, what you are shooting...but comes at the expense of bulk and wires)

Depending on your application, this could be and is a great camera. For what I need it for, it is too limited...until I modify the mounts! Do your research and know your mission before you pull the trigger.

Buy ContourHD 720p HD Helmet Camera Now

I finally received the camera from VholdR. So far it's lived up to my expectations. The video that I saw coming from it was super clear and the color looks amazing. It came with its own software that also made everything easier. The 135 degree field of view is better than the fish eye look that you get with some other cameras. Good price for a compact HD camera.

Read Best Reviews of ContourHD 720p HD Helmet Camera Here

I have this as well as the VIO POV1. The video quality and especially the colors are much better on the ContourHD at 1/2 the price. With the external mic, the sound quality is better on the VIO (can put it inside your helmet to cut wind noise). Too bad they don't have an external mic option on the ContourHD. Unitl VIO comes out with HD, the ContourHD is the helmet cam to beat.

And the ContourHD video works great in a Mac with IMovie.

Want ContourHD 720p HD Helmet Camera Discount?

I'm going to start with the negatives. Yes, the mic could be better. But when you're haulin', wind noise will almost always be a factor. Battery life? Eh, sure it's not fabulous... but once you pick this thing up, see and feel the size of it, realize that there are NO external parts, and then see the video it produces? You'll forgive the battery life. Buy another battery, which is easy to do when your entire helmet cam costs less than half of anything even remotely in the same league (although nothing actually IS in the same league).

Positives? Where do I begin? This thing is all-inclusive (did I mention NO external wires at ALL?), very lightweight (I hardly notice its presence on my bike helmet), super easy to use, and records unbelievably smooth (I found it almost too smooth, in fact... looks like a cable cam is flying through the trees as opposed to me rolling rocks on my mountain bike) HD video. Yes, the HD isn't as clear as it could be, but if you've read any of the other benefits of this cam, believe me you won't care. The video is still leagues (and I mean LEAGUES) ahead of anything that is out there for this amount of money (and most of the stuff that costs at least twice as much... I'm looking at you, VIO). I've been disappointed in the quality of video of every helmet cam I've used until now.

This device is worth every penny. Make sure your computer can edit HD video though, otherwise everything will look choppy.

Buy this camera as soon as you can. It's a blast.

Veho VBC-001-BLK SAEM Bluetooth Handsfree Car kit with Motion Sensor Power Save Function (2 years S

Veho VBC-001-BLK SAEM Bluetooth Handsfree Car kit with Motion Sensor Power Save Function
  • Unique AMS (automated shutdown sensor) technology with human body sensor for energy saving and extended battery life
  • Extended battery life with 32 hours talk time, 66 days standby time, 2 years standy in sleep mode
  • Crystal clear call quality by eliminating wind noise and echo with automatic volume control
  • Multi point pairing with upto 8 devices and use 2 devices simultaneously using Bluetooth version 2.1 +EDR
  • Proximity auto pairing to automatically pair your mobile phone and car kit

I chose this model because it does not have an FM transmitter. I'm already using a satellite radio receiver which is transmitting on FM so I wanted something which was entirely independent and stand-alone. This was it. The battery life advertised is one of the best I've seen. There's a detector which puts it into sleep mode when you're not around to save on the battery.

Sitting in my car and quietly listening to the radio, this device would fall asleep until I moved my hand. Then, it would wake up, each time playing a little tune. If you flip the sun visor down, the motion detector is pointed away from me so it will fall asleep and play a little tune. hummph. No way to disable the motion detector or the wake-up and sleep tunes.

The bluetooth would also stay connected when I went inside so, when I wanted the unit to go to sleep it wouldn't.

There's a little blue flashing light when you're connected. While you're driving, might get annoying especially at night. But, that I can disable by pressing the + and buttons together. Great. But, as soon as the unit sleeps and wakes up the light returns. Not so great.

The good news is that I found a method which works for me. There is a master power switch right on the front edge. When I'm on a call, I just switch the unit on and the call is transferred automatically without any button pushing. iPhone does this for me. If your phone does not, you can simply transfer the call manually by pressing the button on the unit. I haven't tried answering a call yet but should be fine.

Despite the fact that Apple disabled Siri on my iPhone 3GS, they did leave me a few undocumented voice commands, such as "dial." Holding the button down on the unit for a second or two, I hear a tone from the unit, then a tone from the phone, then I can voice dial. Pressing the button when the phone is ringing will pick up the call. I found it to be not perfect e.g. one time I pressed the button on the unit and my iPhone started playing music, but I blame Apple for that.

The mic has good quality. No problems with voice commands. I left myself a voicemail and listened back typical cell phone sounding quality but I'm happy with it. I do not need to shout into the mic, but speaking clearly helps. The speaker is loud and clear, surprising quality for a small, flat speaker. And, when I heard the message I left for myself it didn't sound like I was in an echo chamber or even on a speaker phone.

Seems to take about 5 seconds to connect when I power it on, so I'm just keeping the unit off until I need to make or receive a call. This way I don't need to mess with the bluetooth connecting, disconnecting, motion detector timing out, not timing out, flashing blue light, etc.

Totally satisfied it's not perfect, but what it does it does well. I think it's the best out there. For the price, I'd say go for it and upgrade when something better comes out.

Buy Veho VBC-001-BLK SAEM Bluetooth Handsfree Car kit with Motion Sensor Power Save Function (2 years S Now

Pairing up this unit was very easy. Once fully charged I installed the clip, attached it to my visor and turned it on. Later that day, I went for a ride and called my wife. She said the sound quality was as good as when I use the phone by itself with minimal background noise. She also said there was a slight echo, but it must have been the cell connection because the echo hasn't happened on calls since then. Although the sound quality is good enough to understand what is being said, the sound quality leaves a little to be desired. The small speaker lacks the dynamic range that the cell phone is capable of (all mid frequencies, similar to a standard wired phone or small transistor radio), and tends to be slightly distorted with the volume maxed out when the caller speaks loudly (-1 star for sound quality and lack of FM broadcast).

The feature that really makes this unit an easy sell for me is the automatic power up and standby modes controlled by the built in motion sensor. All you have to do is get in your car and the unit turns itself on, as opposed to most units that you have to touch a button or flip a switch to turn it on. For me, this feature totally makes this unit the best choice above all others. Other units turn on and off when it senses the paired Bluetooth unit near it, which eats battery power if you have your car in the driveway and you are moving in and out of Bluetooth range in your house or business. I've had this unit for about three weeks and am still working off the original two hour charge. It uses lithium batteries, so the unit is smaller than most others, and the charge should last the same or longer than other hands free units.

Overall, I am very pleased with the Veho Saem speakerphone unit and highly recommend it.

Fierce Car Audio Battery Terminal FBT40

Fierce Car Audio Battery Terminal FBT40
  • Audio Battery Terminal FBT40 0/4/8 gauge

Title says it all. I was pleased with the quality. I did use a small amount of solder to tin the wires before installing and tightening the screws as power cables with tiny individual threads tend to pull free of these type connectors. After tinning (again not making a metal jacket but just enough to see a slight color change in the wire) the wires were tight and wouldn't pull out with the toughest handling. Good product at a great price.

XM XPMP3H1 Portable Satellite Radio and MP3 Player (XMp3i)

XM XPMP3H1 Portable Satellite Radio and MP3 Player
  • Pause and replay up to 30 minutes of XM programming
  • Record songs while you listen, or schedule recordings of your favorite shows
  • TuneSelect and GameSelect find your favorite artists or sports events on any XM channel
  • Upload and manage MP3/WMA files with the included XM2go Music Manager software
  • 2 GB on-board memory, expandable via the microSD card slot

Anybody who is reading these reviews for the purpose of buying this product should be aware that a portable satellite radio is not based on the same technology as a Walkman-type radio sold back in 1980s. Satellite radios work by line-of-sight, which requires an unobstructed path between the receiver and its signal source. When properly installed and used, the XMp3i works great for recording and listening to live XM/Sirius broadcasts. However, you must ensure the unit is receiving a strong signal to make it work. If you plan on using it mostly in an automobile (with a live signal), that means purchasing an additional car cradle/antenna. If you wish to use it mostly indoors, you'll need to install the included home dock/antenna properly.

I've had a good experience with the Xmp3i so far. In fact, I was able to listen to live XM/Sirius radio while biking over the weekend with very little interruption. I also used the home dock to record some of my favorite shows for playback later. I believe it is the ability to record programming which is this unit's strong suit. You can record up to five channels at the same time, so getting vast amounts of music/talk on to the device in a timely fashion is easy; provided you have correctly installed the home dock. The playback is flawless and is much more convenient than listening live since you can skip songs, commercials, etc.

The interface seems a little sluggish at times and is not the most intuitive, but it works. Thanks to the microSD slot, you can load up your MP3 library and play your own tunes as well. I was impressed by the overall sound quality from both the satellite feeds and my MP3 files.

The Xmp3i is best-suited for users who will pre-record their music/shows to bring along in the car for playback. It also works well as a standalone device for plugging into your home stereo system. Do not buy this if you want to listen to live XM/Sirius broadcasts when you take the subway to work, or while you're hanging out in mom's basement waiting for some laundry to dry. Though it has a built-in antenna for live reception, the manufacturer clearly intended that to be used in outdoor-only situations.

This is a great little radio. Reception is great. I love the recording of XM stations feature. BUT, as of this writing, the enclosed software DOES NOT work win WIN 7. So if you have WIN 7, you will not be able to copy mp3 recordings on this unit. Why they (XM) have not fixed this is beyond me. I called XM about this, and they are useless. Cutomer Service immediatly claims no responsibility whatsoever. They tell me to call Microsoft! Unbelievable. WIN 7 has been out for almost a year now. Come on guys!

Read Best Reviews of XM XPMP3H1 Portable Satellite Radio and MP3 Player (XMp3i) Here

My XpressRC screen went out, and I needed a replacement. While I tried every way under the sun to find a current radio not made my Audiovox, I couldnt, so decided to try this one, since I dont own an MP3 player, I figured it would be a nice backup when I wanted to listen to something different.

First, this is a satellite receiver. Anyone that expects a satellite receiver to work 100% like an FM radio, doesnt understand the concept. While more forgiving than DirecTv or Dish, you really need to be able to see one of the two satellite locations for uninterrupted reception. Im not going to fault the radio because it blanks out inside a house. It needs an outside (or south window) mounted antenna (included) unless you happen to live where there is a terrestrial repeater (I do).

The radio needed two firmware updates when received. They took about 15 minutes. Added several features and fixed several bugs.

XM audio quality on the included ear buds is good. Much better than I expected.

Sound quality through the powerconnect FM transmitter in my work truck is much better than the previous clip on your FM antenna device. No issues at all in driving around out in the country out of repeater range. Usual dropouts going through tunnels, or under gas station awnings I had with the XpressRC.

The MP3 section is great. Audio quality is excellent. Needs a MicroSD card to store more than 7-10 albums at 256K rate.

Havent tried the song or station recording feature yet. 30 Minute buffer works fine.

Easy to navigate. Now if the screen doesnt burn out like my XpressRC did, Ill be very happy with this receiver. I do plan to try to buy an extended warranty for it though.

It claims 4 hours for XM live, and 16 hours for MP3's. Ive been playing MP3s for 6 hours and the battery indicator hasnt moved yet.

The documentation claims you shouldn't have the radio in an environment over 95 degrees as it will limit the lifetime of the battery. Its 5 degrees warmer than that here in the shade, so I figure 120+ in the truck when its parked.

Might need to keep a spare battery in the fridge :)

If the product holds up to daily use, Ill be a happy camper.

EDIT TO ADD: 02/08/2012 Have had the radio running almost 2 years now. Works perfectly. The powerconnect to the vehicle electrical system gives interference free reception. Recording works great, and Ive built up quite a library, as well as put all my mp3s on a SD card. No issues with the radio at all after almost 2 years. Pops out to bring home on weekends, and plugs into the home cradle with an outdoor mounted antenna, although Ive stopped doing that and just use their internet service at home now. Good radio. Highly recommend.

Want XM XPMP3H1 Portable Satellite Radio and MP3 Player (XMp3i) Discount?

I just purchased this product and was pleasantly surprised by its features, small size, and sound quality. It activated quickly and worked very well with good reception hand-held outside as well as indoors with the accessory antenna (included) in a window. Unfortunately, it is now fairly useless because I made the mistake of upgrading the firmware from v1.29x to v1.31x. This upgrade inactivates the control wheel of the device which means you can't use it -you can't selected items like channels, categories, set-up option, etc. The warrantee says the product should not be returned to the retailer from whom you purchased it (Amazon) -but should contact XM radio. XM radio technical support said they can't help, I should contact Audiovox. Audiovox said to leave an email on their website. I'm waiting for a response. Searching the web, others have had this same problem. I'll wait and see if any fix comes along soon, otherwise I'll return to Amazon. Glad I bought it here. I'll update this when and if I get more info.

Update: Spoke with XM again today. Even though the packaging that came with the unit has an insert that says in capital letters: If you experience problems DO NOT RETURN THIS PRODUCT TO YOUR RETAILER but instead call XM Radio. The XM technician says they now have a solution -"Please return your unit to Amazon, buy another unit, and don't upgrade the firmware." Clearly that will work, but I think I'll wait until I hear back from Audiovox.

Final update: Audiovox's response was:"We don't provide customer or technical support for our XM radios; you must go through XM." So, I used Amazon's wonderful replacement service and was sent a new radio by overnight FedEx with Saturday delivery, printed out the return slip and sent the old one back. The new radio works just as well as the original but with a working control wheel. I love it. Downsides: every time I open XM2GO software to manage books and MP3s on the unit, it tells me my firmware is out of date -but I'm sure not going to update the firmware again. This unit is currently running firmware version 1.29x. If a firmware version appears that is higher than 1.31x, I might consider trying it, although I'd do so with some trepidation. I'm going to change my rating to four stars if Amazon will let me.

Final, final update: Thanks to a comment received to this review (feel free to read), I have now upgraded my new unit to firmware version 1.31x and after following the commenter's advice to remove the battery and wait a while -it works and works just great. Hope this helps others.

Save 13% Off

Works great as long as you are standing in the middle of an open field and holding the radio over your head. If you live in a big city, XM does appear have the Clear Channel Repeater System backing up their satellite signal. I am guess that is where the good reviews are coming from. I live in a rural area. Took it to the ball park (no trees) for a morning jog. I could only get a signal while jogging in certain directions. It does work OK at the house hooked to the home dock with the external antenna but that is not why I bought a portable radio.I am boxing it up now to return.

Peak PKC0CV 4/10/20/40 Amp Intelligent Battery Charger

Peak PKC0CV 4/10/20/40 Amp Intelligent Battery ChargerI love this charger. Perfect for my RV having 2 parallel deep discharge batteries. Charging with my on-board gas generator seriously speeds up the charge at the 40 amp rate. While paying $4 for gas I don't want to run the generator unnecessarily with a charger having a slower charge rate.

It works as promised. But the manual is not too clear about how it works. There is no transformer. It's a High Frequency switching power supply and charges by both constant current and constant voltage only near the end. Near the end of charge the microprocessor switches back to constant voltage to top off the battery at a much slower rate.

I set the mode at 40 amps and if the batteries are deeply discharged, it stays steady as a rock at the 40 amps, up until it approaches 90% of the full capacity. Then you can see the charge rate taper off as it slows down the charge until it's full.

I spoke to customer service about the 90 day warranty. They just didn't get around to updating the warranty period to a year. But they have not denied a free exchange to anyone, no matter how long they had it. Of course they want to reserve the right to deny a free exchange if it was abused. IMHO for the money, it's the best in value, rating the performance vs cost.

I would like to buy this but just noticed that the warranty is only 90Days!!! That's it???? Only 90days!!! They must not think much of their product!! Even unreliable Vector VEC 1095 offers 5 Years, last time I checked (I had 6 of those).
