Bluetrek Compact Classic Ultra Slim Loud and Clear Carkit Speaker Driver Pack - Black

Bluetrek Compact Classic Ultra Slim Loud and Clear Carkit Speaker Driver Pack - BlackOK, I have to admit I had high hopes for this unit. I liked the thin design and using the mic to turn the unit on/off. Having the unit on the visor keeps the mic and speaker close. I was hoping that Bluetrek had improved on the previous design since I had read many mixed reviews on this and similar car kits. The unit charged quickly though took a while to pair initially. Now, when my iphone is searching and I lower the mic it pairs in seconds. Hold the button down and access voice control to dial. I've only made a few calls, but the other end could not tell I was on bluetooth. The volume can go loud if you need it, but with the speaker close to your head you won't. I have not tried it with windows down nor with music in the background. Also, I have not tried it outside of my car so I can't speak to the distance it can hold a connection. Only time will tell if it can hold up to the heat of the Las Vegas desert. For the price, i'm very satisfied.

I ordered 4 of these for myself and other family members not too long ago.

Worst piece of junk I've ever encountered, hands down...or hands free.

3 failed to pair... no matter what we did on our new Iphones. One did. I sent 2 back immediately for a refund from Amazon.

One I smashed into a million itty bitty pieces and mailed it to Bluetrek. It was worth the $47 of satisfaction I got from obliterating this piece of garbage.

I wish that I didn't have to give it even ONE star!

At least Amazon answered and reimbursed me. ( They have my everlasting loyalty for standing by me )

Bluetrek customer support is non existent so I can only say they don't care about their product

and won't support it.

I solved the problem with the purchase of Jabra Drive hands free devices instead.

Pairs up easily and works like a charm. So far I've used it for 3 months and it hasn't needed a charge yet.

I bought 2 of these, thinking they were like the one I had previously owned. Not even close! Looks similar, but sound it so bad you can't even use it. My speaker phone on my mobile is a better option. Total waste of money and time :-( Tried to return them, but I was on vacation, tried when I got back, but Amazon says I missed the return "window" by one day! Also, had to return one right away, did not accept a charge, so I didn't get to test until later....The one that did except a charge didn't recognize my phone at first, so much time wasted...

I thought this would be the answer to my all my phone-on-board worries! However, there's no one home so this just keeps on ringing in some very key areas.

What's good:

1) the price

2) Easy set-up

3) Extremely good/clear speaker

4) Manipulating phone controls can be done via the kit or the cellphone

5) I have found that the battery power has been quite reliable.

What's bad:

1) people on the other side of your conversation have great difficulty in hearing you clearly and without drop-outs/breaks in the signal. Even when you speak no more than two inches from the microphone. This makes for an extremely frustrating conversation when you are trying to focus on the road. i sometimes have to switch back to the handheld in order to finish my conversation. For this reason alone, i could never recommend this buy.

I bought this for $20, which was a very reasonable price. I find that the speaker quality is O.K., and people sound a little tinny. Don't have the window down or you won't hear anything as it is not very loud. But it holds a charge for a long time.

Usa Spec Pa15-vette 2004-2010 Corvette, Chevrolet, and Cadillac Ipod/iphone Interface + Aux Input

Usa Spec Pa15-vette 2004-2010 Corvette, Chevrolet, and Cadillac Ipod/iphone Interface + Aux Input
  • Auto Charge feature charges IPOD battery and auto stops after 1 hour of non use
  • In some vehicles if Vehicle has existing external CD Changer it must be disconnected.
  • Auto Playlist Select - If no play list is created, Auto Selects first 5 play list on iPod
  • Use the Radio's CD Changer buttons to access and control up to 5 different mobile playlist. Song up, down, shuffle, random, etc.
  • Access unlimited song per mobile play list

I purchased this for my 2005 CTS Sedan.

While I was able to install this unit easily when installed it did not work. When I contacted the manufacturer USA-SPEC they informed me that Discount Jungle is not an authorized retailer and that the device may not be authentic. I also had my Cadillac dealership trouble shoot the XM receiver and they confirmed that the USA-Spec device was defective and that the car stereo was operating properly.Amazon should remove Discount Jungle as a retailer of this product. Discount Jungle...more like Discount Junk.

Update I was finally able to get some assistance from USA-Spec and after some trouble shooting they were able to help me get the settings right and get the unit working. I have updated my rating from one star to three. The unit is now working but the instructions were wrong, and USA-Spec was initially unwilling to help me since I didn't buy it from an authorized retailer. If you want USA Spec support then buy it from an authorized retailer...not through Discount Jungle.

I bought this for my CTS-V with the Nav package. It worked really well. The instructions were a bit confusing, since i had the older Navigation unit. I called the tech support, and they were very helpful and everything is perfect now.

Install took 2 tools and 20 minutes

Pros:

Easy to install

Good tech support

Works quite well really

Direct iPod control

Cons:

instructions vague on older units, just call

Works well in a CTS-V1 (04-07) and plug n play to your existing harness. Programmable buttons so you can pick artist, random, playlists, etc from the head unit, not have to use your phone though you can still do that.

Pros:

*Adds iDevice connectivity (audio only; 30pin devices only)

*Plug n Play

Cons:

*Dated considering the Apple lightning connector and no android (mini or micro USB) support

*No BT (no handsfree call functions)

*Plug does not work with iDevices with (most) cases

If you want to change to something more modern and not just add audio, there are a host of other head units available (Pioneer AppRadio, Parrot Asteroid, etc) that will allow you to use BT, USB sticks, apps (Pandora/Spotify/etc) but you lose your DIC (Driver Information Center). In that case, you would need to purchase an external device like an ultra gauge or other OBD II reader to get the same info.

Works great and wasn't too difficult to install. Just be careful removing all the plastic parts from your car! The interface is great to have so you can listen to your iPhone iTunes thru your stereo without having to squint at the iPhone display.

I installed the PA15-VETTE in my 2005 Cadillac SRX (Factory Bose Radio, XM Activated, No Navigation). What a great product! Works as advertised. No cable cutting required, everything is plug and play with the factory system. Of course you have to spend some time taking apart various parts of the interior to run cables, etc but totally worth it.

Let me just say as well that USA SPEC (The Manufacturer) has some of the BEST support I have ever encountered. The support is US based, and I never was on hold for more than a couple minutes. Initially I had some issues with noise on the XM Band after installing this kit. Although USA SPEC didn't have a fix up front, they were eventually able to make me a modified cable that solved the problem! Wow!

Cobra MicroTalk CXT225 20-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio

Cobra MicroTalk CXT225 20-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio
  • 20 Mile Range, 22 Channels & 121 Privacy Codes
  • 10 Channel NOAA radio & Hands-free operation (VOX)
  • 8 Rechargeable AAA batteries, and a 2 port desk charger included
  • Maximum range extender and belt clip included for maximum efficiency and carrying ease
  • Lead-Free Packaging

We purchased these to use on a cruise we were taking. When they first arrived there were several things I was grateful for. They fit very nicely in your hand and are easy for kids and adults to use. The charging plug uses one outlet but charges both devices at the same time (which is huge on a cruise ship with limited outlets).

Trying them out around town and they worked great. I sure wasn't going 20 miles but had no trouble going a couple of miles in the suburbs. On the cruise ship I was surprised at just how well they worked. We were unable to go from the top deck to the very bottom deck but could get pretty close. It made the whole trip much easier with less planning.

They provide lots of functions with a wide variety of channels and we never had an issue. The lock feature was nice so the kids didn't accidentally change channels but you do need to remember to unlock it before you are able to turn it off.

Overall, a great value for the cost, if your looking for long distances you will need to spend more.

Buy Cobra MicroTalk CXT225 20-Mile 22-Channel FRS/GMRS Two-Way Radio Now

First off, anyone who knows radios knows no radio of this size and output can achieve the range they claim in the city, mountains, or forested areas. If you are on a lake, you can expect very good range. Anywhere else, forget it. So, I didn't expect anything else from these.

These are my third pair of Cobras. I bought my first pair 8 years ago and they are still working well. I keep them for emergency communication for our neighborhood's disaster preparedness committee. In our last mock exercise we used them to coordinate neighbor safety checks up to a range of two miles. They worked quite well.

Cobra is a well made radio. My only dislikes in the 225's are:

#1the volume control button. I prefer the kind with a volume knob on the top to turn the volume up and down with a twist of a knob, like my first and third pair have, and these radios are a little small for my big hands. Other than that, they are as good as any other I have had.

#2Cobra has downsized the batteries from AA to AAA making battery change-outs more frequent than before.

#3The rechargeable batteries are useless, in my opinion, especially in the field where recharging is not an option. First, they take way too long to charge in-radio, and they die quickly. I use alkaline batteries exclusively. I buy a brick of batteries at Costco. Much better in my opinion. If you insist on rechargeables, then buy another set and a charger for them to keep on charge while you wear down the current set in less than 8 hrs (standby time).

#4Unlike some (much) more expensive hand held radios, you cannot use your Cobras while they are on the charger. That's too bad because these radios make excellent VOX operated "baby" monitors. Our ten year old granddaughter recently had back surgery requiring her to stay in bed upstairs for several days. The batteries always died overnight, so she had to wake up and send her little sister downstairs to get her mother or dad. Plugging them in renders them useless, so again we resorted to high quality alkalines.

I have been using this product for a while, and it is working fine, except for the range is no where near the 20 miles. I would say it works within 1 mile, and that's about it. Otherwise, it is a good product with no other problems.

I received these only yesterday, and tried them out right away. I'm impressed by their look and feel. They're very compact, the buttons are all rubber, and the screen is clear and easy to read, especially when its' display light is on. This radio is very easy to figure out. The mode/power and channel buttons are used to change almost all of the settings. When broadcasting, a volume setting of about 6 (out of 8 max) is loud enough to hear my broadcasts from other radios very well. The wx band has MUCH higher volume than communication bands. Do yourself a favor, and before switching to the weather band, TURN THE VOLUME DOWN. I almost broke my eardrums by leaving the volume on 8 while switching to wx.

After 10 seconds of no communication, these go into battery saver mode. The manual says they go 8 hrs on a full charge. I read 10 hours on a review posted by an owner. The only thing I don't like about these radios, is the fact that there is no battery life indicator. The only thing it has is a low battery level indicator. So until the included rechargeable AAA batteries hit that low power, you have no idea where they're at. The batteries take 15hrs to fully recharge.

I tested the range of these only slightly. I communicated to someone in my house while i walked approximately .4 of a mile on a winding road down a very steep hill , with tall trees, terrain, and apartment buildings as obstacles. In other words, in no way was it line of sight. My voice was clear for the person all the way on both frs and gmrs channels.

Finally, the length, including the antenna, is about 5.75 inches. The body alone is about 3.90 inches, and the width at its' widest point is 2.50 inches. I would definitely recommend these radios, as they are inexpensive, and surpass my expectations. I plan on using these for shopping trips with family, and while caravanning.

Edit after 1 week of use: I've upped my rating from 2 stars to 3. Read on for details...

As others have mentioned, these radios, like all other FRS radios, won't communicate further than 2-3 miles in hilly terrain when used in FRS mode (note that these radios do have a more powerful "GMRS" mode that will probably allow communication over greater distances, but which requires an FCC license to use!)

The rechargeable batteries (300 mAh each) included with these radios are pitifully weak they do not last a full day when the radio is used continuously. I have ordered a set of Eneloop Batteries (800 mAh each almost 3 TIMES the capacity of the originals!) to replace them, but suspect the radio's charger probably won't work with the eneloops, due to a sensor contact in the battery compartment to sense only the ORIGINAL batteries. I will update this review once I find out for sure.

Setting these radios up to work with other FRS radios is not as complex as I had originally thought, PROVIDED YOU READ THE MANUAL IN DETAIL! The trick is understanding that there are TWO DIFFERENT TYPES of privacy codes (CTCSS codes and DCS codes)! Setting up channel 11 to use digital code 27 is not enough; you have to be sure the 27 you've selected is the same privacy code TYPE used on your other radios!

The squelch on these units should be adjustable. Granted there's a way to manually disable the squelch, but it's clunky and a squelch adjustment would be much better.

I don't like the fact that the charger plugs into the headphone jack! So you cannot use/listen to these radios while they are charging!

----------

I have two pretty significant gripes with these radios for use on the FRS band that you'll definitely want to consider before you make your purchase. Note that I did NOT use the radios on the more powerful GMRS band.

I bought these radios to use while skiing with my parents and brothers families. We like to be able to ski separate trails, then hook up back at the bottom, and FRS radios are GREAT for this. Both brothers and my Dad already had various other FRS radios, so I bought these assuming they'd be easy to set up to the same channel and code as everyone else's. Bad assumption. The instructions are not super-clear, and there's a single "Mode" button that forces you to cycle through every setting just to make a change to the setting you're interested in. Add to that the fact that the instructions are very brief, and there's nothing explaining how to match these radios to other FRS radios and you can plan for this to take at least an hour and probably more time than that (if you're ever able to get them to talk to the other brand radios)!

After much frustration I finally managed to get them working with everyone else's. I then plugged the radios in and charged them overnight (about 12 hours). In the morning when I left to ski, my radio indicated a full charge. By 3 PM the radio was nearly dead. But not quite dead... I could still receive, but could not transmit; instead of transmitting, the radio double-beeped at me whenever I pressed the transmit key. As a result, I was unable to hook back up with my ride at the end of the day, and had to resort to paying $11 at the base lodge ski shop for 4 AAA Duracels with which I was able to connect back up and get a ride home.

One other annoyance is that when the radios are in "Locked" mode (which prevent accidentally changing the settings) you can't tune to the weather band you have to "unlock" the radio to listen to the weather.

I'm charging these radios again tonight, this time with them turned off (I think they were on while charging last night)... so we'll see if they last any longer... but until I find out for sure, I'm carrying my $11 spare Duracell AAA batteries with me...

Black & Decker PI500BB 500 Watt Power Inverter

Black & Decker PI500BB 500 Watt Power Inverteri use this to keep the kids gadgets going on trips over an hour or two... it has 2 wall outlet plugs that will power most anything short of a toast... and if you use the battery jumpers that come with it you can get alot more power (i havent tried those myself)

I hooked it up to my car battery under the hood using the clips. That was ok, but the battery clips seemed a little flimsy and probably won't hold up to constant use. I used it to power my sons baseball pitching machine. It didn't pop a fuse/breaker and worked great.

DPV was too negative after a replacement. Trey recommended different batteries from the same manufacturer but they cost $180 each and supposed to match the weight. It's small and slim. So is the battery. Battery life is about 10min, so I always have to plug it in. The maps are from 2004, so many new roads and changes don't show. Cannot upgrade the maps. After you use it 2 or 3 times then it deadlocks and need a hard reset, so the included stylus is useful. If you see this gps, I would turn my head the other way and start walking.

Pulse Tech Battery Maintenance System 100X010

Pulse Tech Battery Maintenance System 100X010Its a true delight to get to write such a positive report. This charger will charge/desulfate/ and maintain any 12 battery from gel cell jump packs, to AGM spiral cells, to car, truck and RV batteries and will actually restore them to a higher capacity as well as make them last much longer. For 24 volt applications you can use two of these chargers. I run a battery shop for a large maintenance facility and since we started using these products several years ago, we continue to save thousands of dollars every month using Pulse Tech chargers (bigger commercial units using the same technology). This is the only charger I have found that actually breaks up the lead sulfate crystals -which form on the lead plates when a battery sits at a less than full charged state. (All lead acid batteries do this). Its these deposits of lead sulfate crystals that keeps the battery from delivering current and excepting a full charge. I have 3 of these chargers at homethey come in different colors (red, yellow, green and blue and a dual charger version). They are all electronically the same so buy the cheapest one you find.

In a world where things claim to "work better" or "make things last longer"this is the rare exception where the product actually does what it says and does it well. These results can be fully verified though empirical testing. Used regularly you should expect to easily get 6-10 years out of a battery rather than the often normal 2-4 years. This will quickly pay for the charger. I cycle it through all our batteries (at home) 3 or 4 times a year to keep them charged, de-sulfated and ultimately lasting longer. If you have access to a battery conductance tester (found in large automotive shops) which tests batteries for capacity and cranking amps, you can test a battery and then go use this pulse tech charger. You can then measure how it restores the battery to a previous higher capacity. It will often bring back a really weak battery to fully operation status allowing you to get a couple more years of use out of it. Its rare that I am able to recommend a product so hardily, but it works well and you will be happy with not having to buy replacement batteries for your equipment so often. If you have questions feel free to give me a shout at C23Flyboy@hotmail.com

-Scott

I've used this product for several years now and it's the best charger I've ever owned. I originally bought it to maintain my motorcycle battery. I use my motorcycle mostly for track days now so I don't ride it as often as when I commuted on it. Because of this, I had to replace a very expensive AGM battery. Rather than having to replace expensive batteries, I put my bike on a trickle chager. Originally I tried to get away with a cheaper type. I used a battery tender junior (which I bought from amazon). It died after a day of use. I figured it was defective and I had it replaced. It also died. Given the rock solid ratings and review, I figured, I must have done something wrong. I talked to their customer service and on my 3rd try on that charger had it "maintain" a new battery with a full charge. It also died. I gave up after that and switched to this charger.

This charger has worked flawlessly over the past few years. The indicator lights give me all the information I need regarding the health of my battery. It doesn't overcharge the battery or reduce battery life. I now use it also on my deep cycle batteries on my boat (3 of them). I basically cycle this charger and move it from battery to battery every few weeks. I've used this thing non-stop for at least 2-3 years now. It is also water-resistant (proof?), and I have no problem leaving charging my boat even if it's raining outside. It also doesn't get hot at all like many other chargers.

The only drawback to this unit is is $100 bucks vs. $25 for other chargers. However, I personally believe it's well worth the money.

If you check the specs, all the models are the same charge capacity, except for color of plastic and labeling. So buy the cheaper one! Have two differant ones, and both identical ratings, and charge the same in real time.

Read Best Reviews of Pulse Tech Battery Maintenance System 100X010 Here

I purchased the Pulse Tech charger after much online research into this technology and even some discussions with the company since they are local to my area in N. Texas. What I think I discovered from my research is that the pulse technology is best suited for new batteries rather than reclaiming old and sulfated batteries. This technology seems to prevent the sulfate from forming on the plates. I installed the charger/maintainer on a brand new 100 Ah marine battery. On start-up, it showed 50% charge level and began it's charging/pulsing cycle. The maximum charge current is 2.5 amps, so it took 24 hours for the battery to reach 100% charge. At 100% the Pulse Tech charger switched to maintenance mode. That consists of no charge current, but the anti-sulfation pulses remain active.

As with any device of this type, it can only get glowing reviews if it works. With the promise of pulse charging extending the life of batteries for 4-6 years and beyond. This review will be very stale by the time I can report back on the devices complete success. However, as a battery low-current maintainer with high tech properties, It seems to be a well-made and easy to use device. I give it 4-stars for now with the possibility of getting that extra star when it shows it's usefulness 4 to 5 years hence. Because of it's ease of use, great function, and feedback via lights, I still rate it highly and can cautiously recommend it to others. I do recommend it as an addition to new batteries or ones that are still performing near 100%. Preventing sulfation seems to be a better solution than removing it after the fact.

Want Pulse Tech Battery Maintenance System 100X010 Discount?

this brought a dead sulfated battery back to life that a 2/10/50 amp charger set on 2 amps for 2 weeks and still wouldn't start the car.(Battery was left hooked up in a truck by my neighbor and wasn't started for 2ish years). It just wouldn't take a charge so I pulled the battery and sat it in the garage corner with this pulsetech thing on it for 3 weeks or so. It came back to 75 percent on the indicator and wouldn't go higher so I put it in and it has started an F150 v8 fine for the past 5 months. This thing paid for itself just saving 1 battery. i used it on my skidtsteer and tractor and it definitely perked up those older batteries as well compared to the trickle charger that i usually leave on them. Also brought back a 6yr old marginal battery in a hyundai that was barely turning over and after 2 days cahrging with this on is starting normally 2 months later. I'm happy.

This charger does just what it should at a price that's far below the OEM cost. But the picture doesn't show how short the output cable is, only about half the length of the Garmin original. The cord is coiled, but it's quite stiff and doesn't stretch out too easily. Still, it was long enough for my small car; other users might find this too short for them. Also it's a straight plug for the receiver, while the original has a right angle one. This makes the plug stick out farther in the back. And coupled with the short cord, it puts some extra strain on the receiver power jack. I just needed to move the Garmin a little on the windshield, but again this may be a concern for some users. I docked this adapter a star because of these issues.

Other than the short cable, this is a great value. It powers and charges the receiver just like the original, and you can't beat the price. I have no idea how long it will last, but if I need to replace the charger again I'll probably come back for another of these.

This charger will put your GPS into PC sync mode, disallowing you from actually USING your GPS while it is charging in your car. Completely useless. I don't understand why some reviewers didn't have this problem and others do there must be different units coming from different sellers.

80 AMP RELAY 12 VOLTS

80 AMP RELAY 12 VOLTSI purchased this solenoid to power an electric fan conversion on my 1992 Chevy S10. The electric motor/fan was originally out of a 1993 Chevy Beretta GT and the wiring showed it needing a 30-amp fuse. I figured since this solenoid is rated at 80 amp continuous/150 max, it should do the trick. I installed the solenoid, hooking one of the small terminals to the ignition switch on the fuse block, and the other to ground. I, or course, then hooked one of the large terminals to the hot wire coming off of the alternator, and the other terminal to the positive terminal on the fan. I now have over a thousand miles on this solenoid and I'm not sure if it's even gotten warm (even sitting in the engine bay next to the battery).

Overall, this solenoid seems pretty bulletproof if doing an e-fan conversion, and I couldn't be happier about my purchase!

I used this to install a 1 speed 98 lincoln mark vIII fan on my truck.. this relay has held the duty very well so far.

GTMax 6pcs - Black Rubberized Hard Case + LCD Screen Protector + Car Charger + Travel Charger + Mic

GTMax 6pcs - Black Rubberized Hard Case + LCD Screen Protector + Car Charger + Travel Charger + Micro USB Data Cable + Stylus for AT&T Samsung GALAXY S2 / SII I9100 AttainYou get what you pay for. The biggest problem I had with this product is that it was advertised to fit my Samsung Attain. Everything works but the screen protector. It is not cut right. But like I said. You get what you pay for.

The screen protector fits perfectly on my Galaxy S2. I never tried putting the case on (I got more expensive version), but it seems to be a descent quality product. All the cables are a big plus, everything works so far. Stylus is ok, I thought it will be a little bit different.

For the amount of accessories you get and price you pay for all that, it is an amazing deal.

I found this package while searching for accessories for Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, and I made purchase because the details led me to believe that they were indeed made to fit and to be used by that particular version of the Samsung Galaxy smartphone. When package arrived, it was obvious that the items were made to be used with the first generation Galaxy. Not even the charger would work correctly with my phone, it being dead as a hammer. The stylus was a toy. Since the package cost so little, I just threw it away, rather than going through the hassle of returning it. Normally, I observe the old adage. "If it's too good to be true.....", but greed got me this time. Don't consider buying this product!

fabulous. I originally bought this package just for the car charger and extra cables, but all the bonus stuff is a steal! I never thought I would like using a case with my galaxy s2, but I LOVE the case. It's so sleek and still protects the phone. Snaps right into place. Although the screen protector didn't fit. But everything else is good. I even use the stylus with my kindle fire.

Schumacher IP-1800I Instant Power 950 Peak Amps Jump Starter with 18Ah Internal Battery

Schumacher IP-1800I Instant Power 950 Peak Amps Jump Starter with 18Ah Internal BatteryThis Schumacher is great to have along in my outdoor excusions that take me into very remote areas. Feel so much more secure with all that extra jump starting power. I drive an X-Terra into the north Maine Woods area every winter; not a whole lot of human interaction

there so if feels good to have extra cranking power available. This model actually held up to several cold weather jumps on 4-wheel drives with juice left over to

power my computer, boom box, and utility light. Most folks probably would get buy with less cranking Amps but I feel so much more secure with extra juice.

Amazon had the best price that I have come across.

makes it a bit more assuring. -Bootleg

I primitive camp at rendezvous and this unit keeps my cell phone chatged, my kindle fire charged and powers my laptop... Doesn't sound very primitive does it. lol

The options available on this model are great, the problem is that the batteries are faulty. I should have headed the warnings others gave in reviews but I figured I'd give it a shot. The problem is the internal battery would not take a charge, not even once. When it arrived I followed the directions and left it on the charger over 72 hours, after all that there was no charge at all so I put it back on for 4 days, after that the orange charge status light came on for about 5 seconds then it went red again. Log story short I tried charging a few more times and nothing worked, amazon will not take that as a return item but after talking to customer service they refunded me the entire amount, now I have to deal with disposing of this thing. I did end up buying a similar product made by Duracell, works perfectly.

I haven't tried to jump start my v8 engine yet, but the 110 outlets operate most household appliances. Very user friendly. If it fails to jump start my car I will add more at that time.
