Just an FYI, I didn't purchase this here, so I won't comment on sellers or prices.

Short review:

+ Full HD! can read license plates and see details clearly in daylight

+ Built-in GPS is surprisingly accurate with both location and speed.

+ Built-in accelometer records any bumps or "shocks" the vehicle receives.

+ Good quality mounting sticker

+ Several configuration options

+ Updateable firmware if you can find it

+ Automatically over-writes oldest files when card is full

+ Small and semi-inconspicuous

+ Automatically saves video when unplugged

+-Parking mode option if camera is powered

+-Default configuration options don't work well, but are changed easily.

+-Included 8GB card is only 4 hours of HD video. Easily upgradeable to 32GB card though.

Not so great at night this is where the 5th star went.

Expect broken English, as this is a Korean product.

Quick start guide only Korean English manual is on the SD card.

Software tends to crash/lock up fairly often

I believe there is no manufacturer warranty for the US.

No button to permanently keep a recording

Built-in mic records quiet and muffled.

Details:

Only 1 button on camera: Microphone toggle on or off.

List of configurable options for the CAMERA from within the SOFTWARE:

* Only one physical button: Microphone on or off.

* Play Speed: 0.4x; 0.6x; 0.8x; 1x; 2x

* Volume

Parking mode details:

Parking mode is supposed to be a low-power mode that is activated after the camera is stationary for 5 minutes. Of course, this will only matter if you keep the camera plugged in and if your car provides power when off. The camera stays on the entire time, it just doesn't write the video to the card unless it detects shock or motion, which I assume uses less power. Yes, this could drain your battery anyways, but the camera uses such little power this is not likely unless you rarely/never drive the car.

Note on motion: The manual doesn't clarify this at all, so I had to test for myself. The camera actually does "see" motion not just "feel" it. In other words, if motion is turned on for parking mode it will record someone walking in front of your car/camera, not just pushing on the car.

Other notes:

* You need a windows computer to install the software, change settings, or view GPS data. However, raw video is stored as standard AVI files, so you will still be able to view video with any computer.

* This camera has no night vision whatsoever. There needs to be some source of relatively bright light to see anything clearly.

* I forgot to measure the length of the 12v adapter cord before installing, but I was able to route the cord all the way around my windshield, out and around the dashboard, and to the middle outlet with about a foot to spare. It may have been 10-12ft long.

* The camera saves a video file to the card every 1-2 minutes OR when power is disconnected.

* Camera takes about 30 seconds after power is applied to begin recording, and averages about 1-2 minutes to obtain a GPS signal.

* To reiterate, if speed overlay is enabled, you will only see KPH in the video. MPH is only viewable in the software.

*Update: There is an English version software update available that works for me on Windows 8 x64, so I assume it should work on Windows 7 as well. It is located on the original manufacturer's "mall" site, which is totally in Korean. Link below if it will allow: ipassmall.co.kr/ipassblack/down_proc.asp?filename=PC+Player%28ver+1%2E3%2E2%29%5FITB%2D100HD%2Ezip

This is a great camera, for what it is.

With accelerometers (to sense crashes, jolts or sudden acceleration/braking) and embedded GPS metadata, this is much more than just a souped-up GoPro camera.

The camera records audio and video continuously on the included full-size 8Gb SDHC card, but I would recommend buying a 32Gb card or two. It's a good idea to have a spare on hand in case you need to remove the card to view or preserve its contents.

Most cameras in this price range dont even record audio, the ITB100HD does.

Camera settings are done within the (Windows only) player application, which are then transferred via the SDHC card to the camera. The camera itself has one control: A single push button that toggles the internal microphone on and off, and to format the memory card. Worked fine with 64-bit Windows 7.

Settings include choices of frame-rate and resolution, whether or not the camera records continuously (or simply responds to motion or jolts), whether the camera overwrites older files, and in what order event-associated files are over-written.

You can also choose how sensitive the shock sensing and motion detection is -to a point. I have found there are too few steps of resolution to choose from, and the camera is often sensitive even at its most insensitive settings. There are also presets for brightness, time zone, and the ability to export still frames or whole clips to your computer's hard drive.

When the camera experiences shock or jolt, it tags a clip as an 'event'. Likewise, if it records motion while in 'Parking mode' (when it senses you haven't moved for five minutes), it tags those just as distinctly. This is useful when sorting thru files to distinguish travel time from time parked.

The on-screen speed overlay is in Kilometers/hour, requiring a 3rd-party firmware hack to correct it to mph.

Time-stamp information comes from GPS, so that is not only a convenience but essential if you need to use this video in court.

There is a 'Video Out' connector you can use to assist aiming during installation, and later to provide sound and picture if you want to live-stream your dashcam to UStream, Skype, etc. This is an essential option if you need to preserve your video remotely, to protect evidence from theft or confiscation.

The videos are divided into one or two-minute timestamped clips (depending on the frame-rate you choose) and are standard H.264 video playable on any modern computer.

In the event of a crash or power loss, the camera has enough internal reserve power to do a proper shut-down, preserving the video.

At the highest quality setting, the frame-rate is 24fps (rather than 30fps) but is more than adequate. Even the 15fps option performs well, and may actually be a better choice for night driving and economizing memory.

The 'Parking' setting appears to be more for saving recording space than battery power, so if you have a weak car battery you may not want to leave this operating for days without charging your battery.

The pinhole opening for the microphone can be enlarged to improve audio, which comes from the factory somewhat muffled.

The mounting kit is for adhering the camera to the windshield glass. In my vehicle, however, I get better performance mounting the camera to the rear-view mirror, so you may wish to obtain a hefty piece of Velcro. Mirror-mounting also better conceals the camera from theft, and newer vehicles have continuous power available at the mirror so you dont have visible wires and clutter.

Each time you insert the SDHC card, you need to push the 'format' button to get the camera to recognize it. If you forget, the camera will sound an 'SD card error' (4 beeps that repeat) after the camera has been operating for several minutes.

There is an essentially useless LED that faces the front, and flashes when in the 'Parking mode'. I call it the "steal me" light, and you can cover it with black tape.

The oddest thing about this camera is how it is marketed.

iTronics has apparently had issues with some sellers, and honoring the warranty seems to depend on where you bought it.

The manual is broken English, so it would be worthwhile to consult some online forums dedicated to this camera.

The English portion of iTronics website is completely unintelligible, so firmware and software updates are often found on independent forums like dashcamtalk.com or radardetectorforum.org.

Even with the English-language software version, iTronics seems to assume most users will be in Korea. That's unfortunate, because they are underestimating the value of their own product, and missing bigger markets.

You can find the English manual on-line, search for ITB100HD_English Manual.pdf

You can also download and install the player application, by searching for ITB-100HDE PC Player.zip

There are other versions of this camera from iTronics, some have substituted the GPS module for Wi-Fi (so you dont have to fetch the SDHC card) and even one with a voice module (sadly, only in Korean). The ITB-100HD has the better CMOS imager and performs better at night, so beware if you are considering other models.

If you are a good driver, and are ever in the position where you need to prove it, this under-$200 "black box" is a good investment.

If you would like a rock-steady record of a road trip matched with a GPS map, you are also in luck.

One last thought: Using this camera at night will definitely illustrate the value of keeping your windshield clean.

The only concern I had when buying this product was that I saw that it was km/h only and would only show MPH in the viewing software.

I found a guy on a forum who was selling a converstion for $8.00 and thought that was crazy. Then I did a bit more searching and found a blog post that not only described in detail how to convert the code to work with MPH, but also shared a patched binary for FREE!

has details on how to update the firmware of the camera to use MPH instead of km/h. It took me less than five minutes to convert mine and now I couldn't be happier.

1080hd for good quality video,

GPS to tell you where and how fast you were going,

shock sensor to tell when you crashed,

Accelerate or Decelerate awareness,

creates separate folders,

So whats missing?

an installation for MAC, are you serious? how did such amazing technology mess this up? i cant even look at the settings, since there is only one button on the device and everything else is handled through the computer when the SD card is inserted, fail...

I did not buy this product from this vendor on amazon, but am giving a review on the itronics ITB-100HD.

over all its a good product that work well and is very easy to use.

PROS: no over heating problems unlike the blackvue

the recording quality is good during the day but is just ok at night

you are only able to read lic plate if the car is not in motion and is within 5 ft in front of you.

CONS: clarity at night is not the greatest. I dont believe this is a true 1080P HD quality more like 720p (yes i have the settings on 1080P)

the IPASS Black program does not always work

if you have a MAC, windows 7 or 8, forget about using the program as it wont even start up with the SD card in the computer. you are still able to play the video on quicktime or windows media player or

VLC

the mic is not the greatest but works decent.

overall its a good product.... this product is mainly only used to record accidents not obtain lic plates while car is in motion.... dispite the cons i am able to express this is still one of the best car dash cams out there.

DBTech 175 Watt Portable Micro Power Inverter With USB Port - 12v AC to 110v DC Car Plug Converter

DBTech 175 Watt Portable Micro Power Inverter With USB Port - 12v AC to 110v DC Car Plug Converter For Your Ipod, iPad, iPhone, Tablet, PSP, DVD Players Laptops Netbooks And cellphonesWe needed an adapter for our portable DVD (kids broke the cord). None of the "universal" adapters fit our ports, so we began to look at this kind. Many are very low output and do not provide enough continuous output to run a device, only charge it. Very happy with this product. Great continuous output for our needs. Gets a little warm after 4 hours of use (but so does every other device, including the player). Have not tried using the USB port at the same time yet. Takes a little getting used to the bulk of it when plugging in, but green indicator light lets you know when you've got good contact.

Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Bought this 3-21-11 and have used it once briefly to verify it works.

The first time I plugged the inverter into the cigarette lighter I already had my laptop charger plugged into the inverter and the other end of the charger plugged into the laptop before doing this. That blew the 20 amp fuse in my cigarette lighter. So after putting in another fuse I decided to plug just the inverter in first, then the laptop charger, then the laptop. That worked fine and I tried that several times and it worked fine each time (Dell D600 laptop and charger and laptop which probably draws no more than 90Watts on average)

Possible order matters as the laptop charger appears to have a big capacitor in it and possibly trying to charge that up and power the laptop plugged into the charger draws to much current all at once initially.

Also verified the inverter would drive a 60watt light bulb as well.

Will report back after our vacations this year as to how well it has worked over time.

Be cautious to consider buying this product. The device is loud, in that it has a fan inside and this fan runs all the time.

The product gets hot within a few minutes and remains hot while in use.

So hot in fact that one may worry that it is overheating. In addition, the net battery recharge gain to a regular Dell laptop in terms of recharging a battery while driving is nominal.

One thirty minute drive/charge yielded less than thirty minutes of renewed battery.

Obivously, in an emergency or to convert a cars dc to ac for use while driving; this device works.

It is not a very successful converter. Sorry to have to be unsupportive, but hopefully the manufacturer will upgrade the product.

when i bought this product with the price that it had on it, I didn't think it was going to be worth my money. When i got it I put it right to the test with a cross country trip. I was in the car for over 100hr in a few weeks. I always had my laptop (MacBook Pro 13") Plugged in charging. After a little bit you could start to hear the fan that was in it. But if you have music on even at a low level you cant even hear it. Best product i have ever used for charging my laptop in the car.

OTC 3183 Digital Battery Tester

OTC 3183 Digital Battery TesterI purchased this tester for work, doing basic lube work for a dealership. I needed a quick tool to test the CCA of batteries, and this tool was perfect. That is until it stopped working. I started to notice about 4 months in that i was struggling to get a connection and constantly have to move the wires around. Now it does not work at all. The battery tester is not good for constant use, most other people in the shop have the MAC version of the tester and it obviously lasted a lot longer then this. Have been trying to find some sort of way to talk to the company, but cannot find an email or a place i can send it in to get checked on. Really disappointed, if it lasted it would of been a great tester. Try to find a better tester.

This is a great little battery tester especially for the money. It is the same as the MAC tools BT8300 that sells for $229.99. I have tested hundreds of batteries and have yet to be led wrong with the test results. It is a real time saver being able to accurately test batteries that are very discharged saving time and money otherwise wasted charging up questionable batteries prior to testing them on a traditional carbon pile load tester. I have used a hand held Snap-On conductance tester comparable to this and prefer this OTC 3183. Stop reading and just buy it, you won't be disappointed. ASE Mastertech in NH

I bought this OTC 12 Volt Battery Tester to use both at home and in the shop. It works very well. Yes, the display is a red led like someone else already mentioned but what's wrong with that? The leads are actually constructed better than in the photo possibly have been updated??? I don't know of anything bad to say about this tester? It works just as well as the code generating Midtronics tester it just doesn't spit out a warranty code like the Midtronics does but I'm not doing warranty work, so I don't need that feature.

Since taking delivery of this tester, I have had only one opportunity to use it. But, the battery I was testing did not have the minimum 7-Volt charge requirement, in order to test it using this tester. This is the only reason I gave this tester 4 Stars instead of 5. This Kit includes a case, which hold the tester, leads and operation manual. The case includes a felcro strap to hold everything in place. I have a couple of old cars that are not driven much. Low Batteries are always a problem. This Tester is a handy way to determine if the battery is good or bad. Another plus is this tester can be used to perform basic starting and charging tests.

JENSEN JMS7010 Waterproof AM/FM/CD/MP3/WB/USB/iPod & iPhone and SIRIUS Satellite Radio Ready Marine

JENSEN JMS7010 Waterproof AM/FM/CD/MP3/WB/USB/iPod & iPhone and SIRIUS Satellite Radio Ready Marine Stereo with NOAA WeatherbandThis was the best quality receiver with the features (CD, FM, Ipod, Sirius Ready) I wanted. The power is excellent at 50 watts per channel. The bass is strong and clear. At this point the unit has surpassed my expectations! Paired with one set of Alpine 7" coaxials and one pair of Infinity 6.5" coaxials, the sound quality is great at HIGH volume. My only drawback initially was the lack of a removable faceplate. My next adventure will be the Sirius module and antenna. I'll be watching Amazon for the best deals there too! My buying experience has been excellent with Amazon!

I had done about a weeks worth of researching marine stereos before pulling the trigger and buying this unit. There is not a better stereo available for this price! You get a CD Player, AM/FM, iPhone and best of all: Satellite radio!

One of my favorite features is it uses a memory chip to remember all of your presets and the clock. This is extremely useful because of how my boat is wired, the battery power is killed to all the accessories when the boat is turned off. But when power is restored, all my presets, equalizer settings, & clock are just how I left them!

Installation was very straight-forward and easy. I recommend this to anyone adding or upgrading their marine stereo!

Viper 5301 2-Way Remote Start System

Viper 5301 2-Way Remote Start System
  • Remote starter lets you warm up your car in cold weather and cool it in hot weather for added comfort and convenience
  • Compatible with most vehicles That are equipped with the correct bypass, including both manual and automatic transmissions
  • Allows you to start your car at the touch of a button
  • TempCheck using GhostLights, Checks the vehicle temperature using the hidden LEDs on the remote
  • Extreme 2,000' FCC legal 2-way range For expanded connectivity

I received this remote start unit as a Christmas present (installed it in a 2010 Ford F-150) and have been using it for the past month or so. While I agree that the buttons on the remote are a bit too sensitive, I did not have problems with a lot of accidental activations when putting my keychain in my pocket. I did, however, accidentally start my truck a couple of times when I was carrying my keys along with other items (groceries, etc.). So a little redesign on the remote is in order (take note, Viper).

However, there's a way to make this issue go away. The owner's manual describes a "Button Auto Lock" mode that must be configured by an "authorized dealer". This is complete nonsense, of course -you can do it yourself. What you need to do is hold down the Function (bottom) button for 10 seconds or so, until the amber transmit LED lights up. Then push the Unlock button for 2 seconds until the remote beeps. This puts you in the remote's configuration mode. Push the Lock button so that the LED next to it lights up. (If the LED is already lit, then the remote is already in auto lock mode.) After the Lock LED is lit, let the remote sit for 30 seconds or so.

With the remote in this mode, you can start your engine by pushing the Function button and then the Unlock button (to unlock the remote), and THEN the Start button. So essentially you start your engine with 3 button presses instead of 1. This is a compromise that I'm willing to live with.

The range on this unit is actually pretty impressive. I work in a large building with a large parking lot, and I routinely park way in the back. I can remote start the engine from a distance of almost a quarter mile, which is about an order of magnitude better than the range that you would expect from the Ford factory remote start option. I have not personally had any issues with the unit not functioning in cold weather -the past couple of nights we have gotten down to the teens below zero and my truck starts just fine.

All in all, I'm very happy with this unit, and it has made my winter morning routine a lot more pleasant. The issues with the remote button sensitivity are real (and it's why I have to knock off a star) but can be worked around with relatively little overall impact to the unit's utility.

Buy Viper 5301 2-Way Remote Start System Now

I had this thing installed in my wife's car as a Christmas present. Cost me $350 for the unit plus $100 for an adapter to work in her car and another $100 for installation. The buttons are way, way too sensitive. I carried the starter fob on my keyring in my pocket and every time I moved, the car would start. Although the engine would shut itself off after 15 minutes, this would happen multiple times all day and night -very hard on gas consumption. The other problem is that the headlights turn on when the engine starts, but do not turn off when the engine shuts down -very hard on the battery. I finally removed the starter from my keyring but figured at least my wife would be OK, since she carries hers in her purse. I was wrong. I noticed one day her starter fob was sitting on her desk, not on her keyring. She was having all the same problems carrying the starter in her purse. She put her old factory remote fob back on her keyring -it doesn't have a starter function, but she can at least lock, unlock and open electric doors with the factory remote. So now we have a $550 Viper remote starter that we don't use. What a waste of money. It really angers me that companies that design gadgets like this do not TRY THEM OUT before they put them on the market.

Read Best Reviews of Viper 5301 2-Way Remote Start System Here

The remote control for the Viper series is poorly designed in that the pushbuttons stick out beyond the face of the remote and are super sensitive. You can not carry the remote in your pocket or purse without inadvertenty unlocking, starting, etc your car. There is a lockout feature associated with the remote that is not mentioned in the manual nor do some of the installers know about. The installer has to set this feature on the remote and it requires you to push the function button and then the unlock button before using the other buttons to perform a function. You only have 60 seconds to do your thing, then the remote relocks itself.

Even worse, there are complaints all over the web for another problem that I have. The "main brain" for the Viper 5301 system fails in extreme cold weather. Duh!, why do they think people buy these things in the first place. If my engine and Odessey van interior are still warm, the remote will start the van. If the engine and van interior are cold the remote will not start the van. Go figure. There were several people sitting in the installers waiting area with the same problem when I went to get the unit fixed.

Want Viper 5301 2-Way Remote Start System Discount?

The remote is so poorly designed for this remote start system, that I can never keep the keys in my pocket without it randomly unlocking my truck or starting the engine. The button auto lock feature does not really work, it only works to prevent one mistaken button push, if a button is accidentally pushed again, it will preform that function. Because of the ease of mistaken button pushes, your remote battery will not last very long at all. Best Buy installed the system in my 2011 Dodge Ram. Buyer beware! I suggest a different manufacturer if you want remote start.

Lost both battery door within a month of owning due to poor design. My carbon monoxide detectors have gone off twice in my home only to find the car running inside my garage due to accidental button press while in my pants. Dealer says theres a function to lock the remote to prevent this. BS! Simple countersunk buttons would have dont the trick. Now instead of one button to lock and one to unlock I half to press three (function, unlock, unlock or Function unlock lock) What a pain. Came out of the mall during Christmas shopping to find my car loaded with gifts completely unlocked due to inadvertant button pressing. Thank goodness nothing was taken. By the time I have it de-installed I will have lost $250 because the labor is not refundable and you half to pay to get this junk removed. I have no faith that Viper will make any attempt to remidie this poorly design product. But more importantly Best Buy should never have sold the junk!

I installed this unit in my 07 Infinity M35 three days ago. The unit played for all of 3 seconds then it went into a reset mode where it reset the preset (A-B-C) channels of my radio back to the factory settings, plus I lost the capability to play/control my IPOD through the device. I talked with a Tech at USA SPEC and was informed that the company is aware of this particular problem but they didn't have a fix for it. The Tech at USA SPEC said that some Infinity Radios have problems interfacing with this unit.

I had been using a cassette tape insert, but the sound was just not working well, and the tape insert often took multiple tries to get it to work. Went thru one vendor with the product and had a bad experience, then bought from Crutchfield and it worked wonderfully. I have a SAT button, which is now my iPhone button, many of the radio controls also work with the iPhone directly, so I am not playing with the iPhone, but just "tuning" the car radio. Well worth the $.

Great product, easy installation, great product, and fast shipping. I installed this product on a road trip to Florida from Missouri. The instructions are clear cut and easy to follow. I would recommend this to all Nissan owners with premium sound systems.

Great product. It took me a while to install it, but that was mostly because I was trying several places to have the iPod cable coming out of. I settled on the storage area directly above the radio where the nav system would go by drilling a hole in the bottom of the plastic. Product works great, the only hiccup coming with the text display of the songs. It shows the name of the song followed by a bunch of gibberish of leftover song names from recently played tracks. It doesn't really bother me though. All I wanted out of this product was for it to be completely hidden and for me to have control on my steering wheel to skip songs. Love it.

I bought this car charger for my mom. It worked out great because now she has a 2nd wall charger for her condo.

Raptor GBT2P Battery Terminal Positive 2X8GA 5/16 - GOLD
  • 5/16" bolt and 2- 8AWG out
  • Gold-plated connectors
  • Resistant to corrosion

This is a great connector. I have had it on my car for about a year and a half and it shows no signs of corrosion and still looks great. It is a bit bigger than the stock connector, but thats not much of an issue since you will probably be using custom cables so you can just angle it a bit more and be fine.

Husky Liners Custom Fit Heavy Duty Rubber Front Floor Mat - Pack of 2I looked over many mats & saw that most did not fit, were cheaply made or just crap. Well these were perfect in every way. The price was right, the quality was as advertised & the fit perfect!! Thanks.

The mats arrived as scheduled in a flat box inside a huge chunky box so lots of recycling material.

They are nice and thick, supple and flexible and deep grooves to hold a lot of muck, sand and water.

Cleaning with detergent and water and hose off. Feel is better after washing off the mold release chemical which gives a slight tacky feel when new.

Color is good and they look well made. Will definitely protect my Suburban carpets during the winter!

4 Gauge 16' Heavy Duty Jumper / Booster Cables Car Truck SUV Automotive

4 Gauge 16' Heavy Duty Jumper / Booster Cables Car Truck SUV AutomotiveThe length on this is important. It allows you to be on the side of the car's battery from behind so that you don't have to risk turning the car around the opposite direction (useful on high-speed roads/highways, etc). Good length and solidly built.

Cables are nice a thick, but the cable connectors and storeage bag are cheap. I guess not bad for the price.

12 Volt 7 Amp Hour Sealed Lead Acid Battery (12v7ah , 12v 7ah , 12 V 7 Ah)

12 Volt 7 Amp Hour Sealed Lead Acid BatteryFirst of all, my mother had her alarm system battery replaced a couple of years ago. She had to pay for the battery and a $75. service charge. She asked me, today, to pick up a new battery from the alarm company that installed her system. When I read 'rechargeable' on the side of the battery, I couldn't wait to get to her home and see if the old one was also rechargeable.

Three minutes after I opened the closet door where her distribution panel is, I changed out the batteries. $75 for that?

The replacement battery cost, with tax, $39.06. I couldn't give a five star rating to something I haven't tried yet. But this is what I am going to do. I will buy this battery and a charger, charge the old battery and have a new one for stand by. It won't be a stretch to keep one here for our portable digital television for tornado warnings time.

Amazon, you are incredible. If I want an honest review, I come to your site and not the manufacturers' sites.

Very good, fit the bill of a replacement battery for my Verizon ONT for my FiOS service. A more expensive battery would probably give you the same thing, a charge for a limited amount of time.

Belkin 140w DC/AC Inverter

Belkin DC/AC 140-Watt Power InverterGood, stylish charger; can use cell phone or electronics while the item is being charged. There is a slight humming noise due to the fan, but while you are driving (especially on the highway) it is not that noticeable. Be sure to have the switch to the unit in the "OFF" position before plugging into the cigarette lighter. Plug in, then wait 15 seconds for the unit to warm up. Make sure that your car is actually running since idling the car will not be sufficient to power up the unit. Not doing so will result in the unit beeping and the red light flashing from time to time. Wait for the green light. Now you can use your normal household plug. Be sure to turn off the unit before turning off your car engine, since it might force your radio to stay on even though the key has been taken out of the ignition. I know it's a hassle, but what do you expect for emergency power. =) So far so good. I will keep you updated otherwise. (Be sure to read the instructions manual that came with the power supply. This is just a summary of what I've read)

Purchased locally (not Amazon). Occasional use for the last 9 months and it has been perfect. Things like (occasionally power goes out at home, in addition to mobile applications, hence the router was powered using a portable 12V source):

-13" MacBook Pro

-HP printer

-Router/modem

-Cell Phone chargers

Cannot vouch for the output AC wave characteristics/shape, but the AC voltage has been a rock solid 115VAC with a 140W load on it. Originally purchased another brand, but it did not work for more than a couple of minutes before shutting off (sorry, do not remember that brand).

If you are buying an inverter locally, you may want to consider taking whatever you are intending to power with you so you can test it in the parking lot after you big it in case it does not work for you (saves a trip back and forth to the store to return it).

I have had two different models of the Belkin PcAnywhere inverters over the last 5 years. Both have failed and they are not reparable. One unit had an external fuse the was not blown. That unit always showed "overload" with nothing plugged in. The other unit (with no fuse (inline or otherwise)) simply gave up and would not even power on. I would recommend staying away from these units. I have a ProStat 250 that is still working great.

Love this power supply! It's compact, light and very easy to use. It has been a life saver (job-saver?) for road trips that have gone a little long. The compact size and relatively long cord make it easy to place nearly anywhere in the car without taking up valuable foot space or cargo room.

Delphi SA10085 Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Built-in Wireless FM Modulator

Delphi SA10085 Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Built-in Wireless FM ModulatorI have not before been interested in getting sattelite radio and never thought I would, but after I saw my friend with one of these DELPHI Roady2 units, I had to get one too. My friend had shown me other XM units he had, but this is the one that got me to get XM.

When you look at this tiny shirt pocket sized device, you think it is just a controller or head for a much larger unit somewhere, but EVERYTHING is inside the small device itself, including the FM transmitter. Most FM transmitters on the market have been bigger than this device, but somehow they fit one inside this unit with all the other stuff it needs to do.

This unit is smaller than my radar detector. Much smaller.

And unlike most FM transmitters, this one has a nice strong signal! With my friend outside in his car with the unit, I went into my house and was able to tune the XM station he had tuned to on my radio in the house!

In fact, what I like most about this unit is that it is so easy to take from home to car so that you only need one unit for both. Right now, I have it tuned to a channel in the bedroom, but can listen to a radio here in the office on the other side of the house, or any room in the house, the FM transmitter is that good. You have a choice of several FM frequencies, and unlike those FM transmitters you tune with a screwdriver, this one is digitally PL locked to the frequency you select via the on screen menu, and it will not fade off frequency.

The audio quality is going to be better with the line out jack, but the quality of the FM modulator has been good enough for me so far, plus it means I can use any radio in the house or car without having to connect any wires to them.

OK, now some neat features not mentioned on most reviews and websites....

While listening to a channel, you can use the thumbwheel and read what is playing on all the other channels without leaving the channel you are listening too. If you find a song or program that you like, just push in the thumbwheel and you jump to that channel's audio.

Let's say you are in the car, and a song comes on that you really like but don't have pen or paper to write down the name of song and artist. Just push the button on the front labeled: MEMORY. Now that song and artist info is stored into memory so that at any time later when you are around pen and paper, you can call up that information and write it down! You can store up to 20 songs in this memory, then it starts deleting the oldest song title in memory once you have 20 stored.

You can also put songs into another memory that will have the unit BEEP at you if any of your favorite songs are being played on any channel while you are on another channel. Then one press of a button, and you can jump to your favorite song playing.

Each major city has it's own traffic and weather channel, and the current temperature and forecast is printed on the screen too.

You can program your favorite stocks to constantly show you the stock rate on the screen under song or channel name.

Another reason I never wanted to get sattelite radio in the car, is because of having to mount another antenna on the car, I don't like to put holes in the car. But this one has a magnet mount and is the size of a refridgerator magnet, so you can stick it on the roof while driving, but you don't even have to do that, since just resting it near the front windshield inside the car has been getting me great reception, so why put it outside the car if I don't have to? Some might just stick the tiny magnet antenna to the top of their radar detectors.

Same with indoors. I was told to put it in a window with some sort of direction view, but I have it in the middle of the room now not next to any window and it is working just fine. I ordered the in home kit, which will give me a seperate indoor antenna that is a bit larger and will probably be better yet, plus, then I don't have to take the one antenna in and out of the house, I can leave the one in the car and the other in the house and just take the unit itself in and out.

They give you several mounts for inside the car, and I like the vent mount the best, because I don't have to use any sticky permanent tape, glue, or velcro in my car, it holds on to the air vent real tight, and the unit just slides on and off of it and is nice and visable to read right over the radio. But this mount can be taken off easy and does not ruin the car or leave sticky residue.

I bet most people will not figure out how to use the vent clip, and no instructions explain it, but if you figure it out and do it right, it will never fall off and will stay unless you want to take it off. If it keeps falling off for you, you are not doing it right. You don't just slide it in and out of the vent, once you slide it in, in snaps onto to thin plastic parts of the vent and will not come back out unless you angle each of the clamps the right way. And once you have this snapped in to your vent, you do NOT take it on and off as another reviewer mentioned having problems with, the DELPHI Roady2 slides on and off of the vent mount, so you leave the mount on the vent, you don't keep taking it off, you just slide the Roady2 on and off the mount that stays connected to the vent, unless you are not going to use the Roady2 in the car ever again, then take the vent mount off.

And I figured since I got the unit on a weekend evening, I would not be able to get it activated until Monday morning, but XM had an operator to help me when I called and my unit was activated within 10 minutes just from calling from home with a credit card.

Even though you disconnect the unit from power and take it from the house to the car, or back the other way, it remembers what channel you were on last and all the memories and information you had stored in it.

Oh, and you can order a remote control for the unit too. It even has an infrared remote detector in this tiny thing.

NOW FOR SOME SECRET TRICKS!!

Not mentioned in the manual, and unknown to most Roady2 owners, are secret codes to get extra features out of the unit!

With the unit turned off... Press 2 3 2, and then push in the tuning wheel.

The unit will turn on without the backlight on!

This is great if you don't want to attract attention with the bright lights of the unit in the dark, or to consume less power if you want to operate the unit on a battery pack.

To help aim your antenna at the two satellites...

With the unit turned off... Press 2 0 7, and then push in the tuning wheel.

The unit will turn on, then press the DISPLAY button until the display shows BER%

Now adjust your antenna until you get the lowest reading on one or both of the satellites.

You are shooting for "0" on one of the satellites, as only one is

needed, but if you have a clear shot to both, it is possible to get low number or "0" readings on both.

UPDATE: HIDE ANTENNA IN THE TRUNK!!!

--------------------------------------

I have found out something very interesting that I wanted to share here. I put the tiny magnet mount antenna that comes with the Roady2 under the rear deck of the car under the back window. (The carpeted deck that the rear speakers are usually mounted in.) And as you can open the trunk and get access to and easily SEE the bottom of the rear speakers and see them hanging down from the deck, you can also stick the magnet antenna here!

Be carefull to understand that just putting any radio antenna in a trunk, where metal shields it from seeing the sky will NEVER work. NO METAL OF THE CAR CAN BE BETWEEN THE ANTENNA SO IT CAN NOT SEE THE SKY. (No damage will occur to the radio, you just won't get any reception!)

BUT.. on most rear decks of cars, there are usually lots of cut outs of the metal of the car (especially two big ones for the speakers to go through) and if you wedge this antenna and stick it on TOP of the metal, so that only the cardboard and carpet of the rear deck is between the antenna and the sky view out the rear window, this WILL WORK!!

Do not stick the antenna on the BOTTOM of the metal, but on TOP of it so that it is sandwiched between the metal and the carboard/carpet of the rear deck.

It is OK that the carpet and cardboard block it from seeing out the rear window, as radio waves can go through cardboard and carpet, just not METAL. So now, when you look at the rear deck, all you see are your two rear speakers and third brake light, you can't SEE the XM antenna, but the satellites CAN see it!

I have used it this way now for MONTHS without EVER having any reception problems. No matter which direction I am driving too, because the 2 XM sattelites are at such angles in the sky that they will always see through the windows of the car and reach the antenna under the rear deck. If the sattelites were directly straight above, then this would probably not work, since the metal ROOF of the car would block the antenna depending on which direction you were driving. I bet this trick won't work with Sirrius antennas, since their sattelites are always moving around and many times are straight above you.

But even under the hardest rain storms, I have had full strength reception with this tiny antenna hidden in the trunk! The wire I just sent under the rear seats and to the front of the car. The magnet holds it securely in place. And when the car is parked, no one can SEE the antenna, and the Roady2 goes in my shirt pocket, so no temptation for burglars are visible in or on my car at all.

-----------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE APRIL 2006 XM lowers audio quality on all channels

-----------------------------------------------------------

I am very disapointed to report that several weeks ago, I noticed a DRASTIC change in audio quality. The bandwidth on every channel has been lowered and all the music channels sound really bad now. (in my opinion) No highs at all, all music sounds like the lowest encoded MP3 files you find on the internet, watery and mushy. XM Comedy used to sound great, while the Laugh channel always sounded bad, but now XM Comedy sounds as muddy as Laugh, and every other channel now.

Turns out XM added around 10 new music channels, but there was not enough bandwidth to do something like that, so now all the channels have to sound bad, so they could add these other 10 channels in the same bandwidth.

I guess XM hopes that most people won't notice the drop in audio quality, and yes I am an audio engineer with audiophile ears, but even my wife noticed the drop in audio quality, so it was a MAJOR drop in quality as she never notices things I usually try to point out to her. In fact, I didn't tell her about the change, she asked ME if the audio sounds different than it used to!

I can't listen to any of the music channels now, and switching to a local FM station after listening to the XM channels, is like switching to a CD after listening to AM radio.

I recorded a lot of programming directly from this XM radio to DAT and into my DAW, and I can record from the same channels today and compare the differences from only two months ago to today, and the difference is NIGHT AND DAY. XM also added very high compression to the music channels, that they never had before this change, so now even the classical music and Jazz channels have absolutely no dynamic range and sound ridiculous. (in my opinion)

This is really sad, because I really enjoyed having XM, but if other people don't complain, and if they don't get the audio quality back to where it was, very soon, I am going to cancel service. I find myself listening to FM stations again because the audio is SOOO GOOD when compared to what XM sounds like now. (in my opinion)

Comercials are now being added to some of the XM music channels, and has always been on the talk channels, so now that the audio is WORSE than FM broadcast, I feel like XM is insulting my intelligence.

Sirius is no better, they sound awful to me too. Both these services are adding too many channels trying to compete with each other, and now they both sound horrible. If XM was smart, they would have DROPPED some channels and improved sound quality, not made it worse. Up to last month, XM was the better sounding of the two services, now it's like listening to two AM stations and trying to determine which sounds better.

This is still a great little unit, and this change will effect ALL XM radios, so it doesn't make this unit any worse than before. If XM decides to put the audio quality back where it was, this unit will be able to give you good sound again.

I just wanted to add this new information so I could sleep at night having my review up here.

Go listen to this at a retail store first, and if it sounds ok to you, and you think the audio sounds good, then buy it.

I started looking at the satellite radio service when I found out that Major League Baseball signed an 11-year deal with XM to broadcast all games beginning in 2005. After doing my research on this site and many others I decided to purchase the Delphi Roady2 (SA10085) and the optional home kit (SA10069-11P1). These two items togehter simply provide you the least expensive, simplest and most complete package for satellite radio.

What it comes with:

The unit comes with all you need to install the Roady2 in your vehicle. (cigarette lighter cord, mini mag-mount antenna with plenty of wire, cassette adapter, vent mounting clip and swivel mount). The Roady2 itself is the size of an audio cassette tape and has a built in wireless FM modulator and comes with a black face plate installed on it and a red and blue which can be installed if you desire.

The home kit comes with a stand to hold your Roady2, AC power adapter, antenna and remote control with battery.

Home installation:

The first thing you need to do is find a spot in your home where you can recieve the satellite signal. After my experience, I suggest the following. The Roady2 has the built in wireless FM modulator (12 different channels) which means you can use any FM radio in your house to listen to your XM radio. The range is pretty good. I placed mine in my second floor bedroom with the antenna near a window that provides a full signal. You will have to experiment to find a location that works for you both for signal strength and functionality. But once you find the spot you are all set. I used the second floor to increase the range of the FM modulator and its more convenient.

Once you have a signal and the unit is on tuned to Ch 1 (Preview Channel) you can activate your XM service. I activated mine online on the XM web site. This was straight forward and painless. About 10 minutes after activation I had access to all channels. I listen to my XM on my home stereo system, a boombox in the kitchen and a small radio in the bedroom all while my Roady2 just sits there on my night stand doing its thing. The only thing I have to do is go to the Roady2 to change the channel if I desire.

Operation of the Roady2:

The unit is fairly straight forward to operate. There are some drawbacks many of which are just do to the small size of the unit, but there are also many great features. The display can only show 2 lines of information at a time. To see the other lines you need to press the Display button. There are some features and preferences which you can change with the Menu button, such as the display color (there are like 7 to choose from) and FM frequency and others which I wont go into here. The buttons are fairly small and you can easily hit the wrong one. However, that is where the best part of the home kit comes in. The small remote control. The remote has all the funtions of the Roady2 except the Menu button. It also adds a couple of features not available on the unit. (SCAN and JUMP)

There are 3 banks of 10 presets for a total of 30. The only downfall of the presets is that the display does not show the memory position while you are listening to a station. (minor problem) A nice feature is the ability to store up to 20 of your favorite songs. While the song is playing you simply press the MEMORY button and the Roady2 will store it. The next time that song is playing on any XM station you will be notified even if you are not listening to that station. Haven't seen this in action yet because in the 4 days I have had this unit I havent heard the same song twice yet.

Vehicle Installation:

As with many newer vehicles, my car does not have a cassette player, so the cassette adapter is useless to me. That is why the wireless FM modulator is so important. The vehicle installation was simple, but I do have some suggestions. I experimented with antenna placement on my 2003 Chevy Impala. I wanted to try and place it on the inside top of the windshield. I took it out for a ride and noticed that the signal faded out in some spots. I live in a CT town with many trees and some hills which surely had some affect. I found this unacceptable and tried it mounted outside using the magnet. I placed it on the vertical post on the drivers side of the windshield, which was the easiest spot for me without running the wire all over my car. I took another ride on the same route as before and never lost the signal. Problem solved! I am using the vent clip mount and the cigartte lighter plug. Plugged the power and antenna in and tuned my car stereo to the FM modulator and XM was playing loud and clear in my car. They say that the wireless FM modulator is the poorest sound quaility of the possible connections, but it sounds GREAT to me and for the ease of installation you cant go wrong.

I love this radio and the XM service and to those of you who are considering the Roady2 or XM service I recommend you buy it. You will not be disappointed! This is the best bang for your buck and the service has something for everyone (music, news, talk, sports, comedy, specials, weather, traffic and more)!

I had always wanted satellite radio, but thought it would be out of my price range because all of the accessories that I thought I had to buy and have installed. I was telling a very good friend about wanting a satellite radio and after taking him to see the display they had set up in a local "Best Buy" he wanted one also, but like me figured price of all the accessories would be a bit much, and we both left it at that. Well about two weeks later He was in a mega truck stop on the outskirts of Denver, (He is a Car Transporter) looking at the XM radio wondering out loud if he should bite the bullet and just buy it. A trucker over heard him and Said, "Well buddy you could buy all that stuff or you could do like I did and just buy the Roady 2." The trucker went on to explain what it was and how he could put it in himself and that if he acted right away he could get the home kit sent to him free. Well say no more my friend bought the roady 2 and call me the very next day and told me about the roady 2 and the free home kit rebate offer. Fifteen minutes later I was buying my very own.

Hooking it up was so easy, and customer support was great. I had to be careful while driving because it it hard to channel surf with the roady, but I just ordered a remote and that fix's that problem. The sound quality is so much better than am/fm radio but at times I do hit dead spots, but they don't last that long.

The mounting can be a bit trouble some, but I solved that by using the velcro pads they hold it in place very good.

There are so many great stations I have not been able to listen to them all. Being that I love all kinds of music it is hard to pick my favorite station.

I sent the rebate for the free home kit the same day i bought the roady 2, and as I sit here writing this review I am rocking to station 74 -The blues stations.

I don't know if they still have the free home kit rebate going on, but it is great to be able to hear xm radio in the house. The home kit like the car kit is very easy to set up it comes with a stand and everything else you need (except a remote).

The sound quality of the kit is very good and like I said the ease of hooking it up to a home system is easy.

Being that a lot of new model cars come with satellite radio the death of commercial radio is right around the corner.

So if you love crazy wacky D.J.'s and commercials, then the XM Roady 2 is not for you. But If you love great music and lot's of it Then The Roady 2 is for you.

Im really in the same boat as reviewer S. Conley. The roady2 is a very user friendly XM receiver. I had the unit installed myself in about an hour, with all wires aesthetically pleasing and hidden (only exception is where they plug into the unit).

Yes the buttons are small but manageable. Several mounting options are available and useful. I currently use the wireless FM modulator, I can't complain. It sounds crisp, clear and better than your FM stations. The only problem I have is an occasional weak signal, depending where I'm driving.

I would have appreciated the remote being packaged with the unit though, it's almost a necessity while driving. (...). The only other thing I wish was different is to have an option to display the channel, artist and song at the same time, currently you can have only two of the three displayed at a single time.

Want Delphi SA10085 Roady2 XM Satellite Radio Receiver with Built-in Wireless FM Modulator Discount?

Always wanted XM Radio but I never wanted to spend more than twenty dollars on a reciever. Spend "real money" on car stereo equipment in a major city never makes a lot of sense since you are one parking lot away from having something stolen.

The Roady 2 is a great, small, cheap solution for anyone that wants satellite radio. Nice design, about the size of an IPOD and a bit thicker it works great. No problems with the FM Modulator even though I live in the heart of L.A.

XM Radio is everything that's been promised. The subscription set up is a breeze.

Husky Liners Custom Fit Heavy Duty Front Floor Mat (Black)

Husky Liners Custom Fit Heavy Duty Front Floor MatUsed the Amazon wizard to see if these would fit in my 2002 Mazada Protege LX and it said they would. Found out after they got here that they do not fit. What you see in the picture is what you get, nothing more or less. Returned these for a refund.

Far from being a great fit, these are really just stock mats that fit well enough you don't have to cut them.

Outstanding product quality, no so great fit for the VW Golf -some left foot rest/mat overlap.

OK for this set, but I will look for a better fit the next time.

1987 Jeep Wrangler -DOES NOT FIT

Amazon's find parts says they fit, but they do not.

I will cut them to fit but I expected "custom fit" as represented in the product's features.

In this case I guess "custom fit" means that you will have to customize them to fit.

had to trim both sides.would have bought truly custom ones for more if they had them available.these are one size fits all but they are durable

These are nice thick rubber but they are not made to the contour of my vehicle....the 'see if it fits' feature says it does fit, and it does fit if you don't mind curled up rubber around the edges.

Blue Sea 1011 12V DC Socket

Blue Sea 1011 12V DC SocketI looked around at local auto parts stores to find additional 12 VDC sockets for my travel trailer, but they were all a crappy and cheap-looking. This socket, on the other hand, is solidly built, weather-proof and has a couple of mounting options. Electrical connections are made with 1/4 inch female push-on connections, so the install looks very neat. I was so pleased, that I have ordered 2 more for my trailer.

This was exactly what I was looking for and at a very reasonable price, delivered reliably and quickly. I wanted an accessory socket that I could add to my golf cart to plug in my iPhone. The iPhone has a limited battery life. I have a golf GPS that I want to use for a full 18 hole round of golf and without extra power, I have to turn off the iPhone for most of the round. Turning it back on increases the time for a GPS lock and adds a wait time before I can get a reliable distance measurement; an annoying wait for my golf partners. This socket was easy to install, well made and allows me to use the iPhone charger cord that I purchased for our auto. The 1 1/16 inch circle drill to install it cost more than the socket!

The product seems to be well made, has ground contact all around instead of a small strip like some. So far I am well pleased.

The product is solid, however the watertight cap fit is not tight and is easily opened even sometimes without touching it.

Solidly made, has been used many times, no problems yet. Seems worth the money, to me. In use about a year.

Optima 8014-045-FFP YellowTop Group 34/78 Deep Cycle Battery

Optima 8014-045-FFP YellowTop Group 34/78 Deep Cycle BatteryBelow is a copy of the email I got from Optima regarding a battery purchased from Amazon.

So be aware the the money you are thinking you are saving maybe costing you big time. You should also know that for marine batteries Otima is strongly reccomending the use of there $200 charger to keep them charged properly.

Hello John,

Amazon.com is not an authorize online OPTIMA retailer, We do not know where they acquire the OPTIMA batteries nor does Amazon.com honor the OPTIMA warranty.

I've owned 80-100 yellow tops, I put them in everything I own. They used to be good when they were made in Colorado, when they switched manufacturing to Johnson Controls in Mexico they changed the construction and they keep cracking. I've had a dozen crack a cylinder. These are complete crap now.

Some background: I'm a mechanical engineer and I've built and worked on at least half a dozen powerchairs used for a competitive indoor sport, power soccer. I've used a data logger to look at battery voltage under load, and I've compared MK gel batteries, Optima Yellowtops (from a local distributor), and Odyssey PC1500s. I have also seen other people using Interstate AGMs, and other "deep cycle" batteries for the same application, and have seen the trouble they've had with them.

Compared to gel batteries, the Yellowtops provide a lot of power, and feel more "peppy" regardless of if they're full or nearly empty. This is a big "pro" for people who need their chairs to perform at their full potential, but potentially a "con" if you don't pay attention to how discharged the batteries are, since they hold up well enough that you can run them down to a really deep discharge and prematurely shorten their life. I found that if you're not careful, don't take any precautions to keep them fully charged, and use them hard, you can kill them in six months.

These batteries can easily charge at 20 amps and higher, similar to the Odysseys, and better than any gels. If you keep them topped up and charge them above 28.8 volts (14.4 each, two in series) whenever you use them, and don't run them down till the chair slows down, you can get well over a year of power soccer use out of them.

They are a little smaller than other batteries, both mechanically and in terms of stored energy. They rattle around inside a Group 24 battery box, which can be a little disturbing, and they don't last as long on a charge as a set of Odyssey PC1500. They also don't hold up for as many cycles under the same use as the PC1500 because you're using a larger portion of their capacity, and lead batteries don't hold up well under that treatment.

In summary: If you're on a tight budget but want something better than gels, if these are on sale then the Yellowtops are what you want. If you really need the best, step up to the Odyssey PC1500. Also, don't forget to use a proper three stage charger that terminates the CV portion above 14.4 volts and below 14.8 volts.

Sales people will tell you "Yellowtops aren't for wheelchairs" or "Odyssey batteries aren't for wheelchairs", but that's BS. Pay attention to charging, don't trust the joystick lights, and these things are fabulous for high performance chairs.

I bought this battery through Autozone (that way I wouldn't have to worry about any type of weird warranty exchange through amazon). Eventhough i love amazon, i HIGHLY encourage buying this battery through an approved seller, that way, if your battery needs warranty exchange, you can just drop off and replace easy.

You can get this battery IF:

-You're going to use this on a vehicle which requires power to start (any auto)

-You may have sources of accessory power that have potential to drain the battery (light use power inverter)

You SHOULD get this battery IF:

-You HAVE sources that can draw lots of accessory power:

--Subwoofer/amp

--Ambient lighting

--Added lighting

--high use power inverter

--Lots of off-roading (vibration is VERY bad for an acid battery)

Conditions that required myself to buy this battery:

-HID lighing

-Complete interior with LED lighting

-Added ambient lighting

-Added door lighting (2005 Ford F150)

-1000W Amp/Sub

First thoughts:

After install, the first start takes a few seconds longer than any start I've had with preceding batteries. Of course, I had a lower CWA than the previous batteries, so that was probably it. After the first start and all the parts had power again, every start was clean, perfect and, dare I say, better than previous batteries.

The drain on my battery from peripherals (with the vehicle not on) is CONSIDERABLY less than previous batteries. I have no tested, nor want to test a heavy drain on the battery, but, since this battery can actually handle the drain without damage.

So far the battery is superb, and offers a lot of power to my accessories. Previously, when the sub hit hard (I have no capacitor, too lazy) the lighting would slightly dim. NO MORE! Very excited.

I'll keep this review updated periodically with any news on the performance of this battery!

Optima were an excellent battery in the 1990's and early 2000's. The batteries they built and sold in that era would easily last ten years. But in the last eight or nine years, they have lowered the quality level in their batteries to the point that they barely make it past the warranty period. I am now stuck with two gel-cel boat anchors, which died six weeks after the warranty period. That is almost $400. Both were lightly used in race cars that saw the track 12 times per year. That is 36 Sundays of use for each battery. And to top it all off, I now must pay hazardous recycling fees to get rid of these boat anchors. I will not be buying Optima brand products again.

Rampage 501001 LED Clip On Light

Rampage 501001 LED Clip On LightI wanted a clip light in my car because I am always dropping things under the seat and things like that and wanted a bright light that I could always find. I leave this clipped to my rearview mirror tab and it has yet to fall off. The clip is well made, and the all black case blends in nicely. The LED lights are very bright and the battery lasts a good while. I had bought cheaper versions at the auto parts store, but the clips always broke. This one is great.

my FJ cruiser doesn't have a map light so i added two of these to the visors. they work nicely and the light is easily aimed where you need it. they can be folded up out of the way when not in use. a good choice for some extra light!

This thing is great for just under 12 bucks! No way is it worth the over 30$ retail! The light is quite bright and the clip is strong. I would definitely buy another as long as the price is the same!

Cheap. Switch does not work and the light is so dim it serves no purpose. Furthermore it is very fragile plus magnet is not strong enough to hold it's own weight. Do not waste your money on this junk.

Bought to add light to my Jeep Wrangler...problem is, despite the picture, these do not open wide enough to clip onto the hard Jeep visor.

Also the pivot point is far too loose and they wiggle too much and don't stay in place.

Certainly not worth $10, even if they would clip on as advertised
