Floor mats fit reaonably well. I would like to see a little more flexibility. They are very rigid, almost a hard plastic. They are very deep, and I am sure they will hold a lot of water. I'm a little concerned about emptying them once they collect some snow. I'd like a bit of absorbent carpet or a little flexability to allow them to be removed and dumped. As it is, it will require a shop vac or a rag to do the ol' squeeze and dump.

After several months of use, they don't show any signs of premature wear.

The benchmark I always use, is a simple one...Would I buy them again if they were stolen. Maybe. I'd probably shop around a little more next time.

Update 10/7/2012 : the little spike that holds the drivers side floor mat in place has poked through the plastic. While I'm sure it will help reduce water off boots up front, its now got a hole in it...a hole that will let water out onto the carpeting below. Down to 2 stars and off to store to buy a different type of floor mat. This time with eyes on the product first.

I have bought floor liners before, but I have never bought floor liners that fit my vehicle perfectly. It was/is a great investment. By these first, and you will never have to buy another set in your life.

I'm still yet to buy this product because I couldn't get anyone that can install it yet. every installer here in Bridgeport CT seems to be interested in selling their own products. Untill I get an installer, I'll wait a little bit. The advertiser of the product did not have a slot to contact them like "ask seller a quetion" spot. I'll like to ask them if they can recommend an installer close to zip code 06606. But for now, I love the look of the device!

Yeah .. I finally got the product, got it installed and running! It's so far working as advertised. Couldn't get an installer close to my zip code (06606). All the ones I found wanted me to buy their own product... Heck no (I said).. I want this and only this. Even though I found one similar to this at one installer store but the final cost drove me away!(about $765:00 for both the device and installation). I went through the manufactural website for this product and I found some recommended installers. Found one not too far away from my location, called him and booked an appointment. The batteries that came with it already ran out. The installer couldn't program it! (innitially I thought the device was defective but when we changed the batteries, he was able to get it all set up. I was also able to cut the set-up cost too. Everything totalling about $350:00 (including the cost of transportation to and from the installer location) as opposed to a quation of $765:00 I got from another installer. I'm happy with my remote starter so far.

I bought this item just about 3 weeks ago and I have been using it for 2 weeks. It has several advantages. First of all it is small and really easy mountable on the car screen, it is almost not visible while you are driving because it is hidden by rear-view mirror, you can just see LED that shows you mode of device.

Then video. Quality is perfect and could be played by any player that can play MP4.

Also, when you insert SD card to the camera and start it it will place all software in it.

It places it's own video player.

This player seems a bit complicated at first glance but is really good, due to device records not only video but also supplementary info. it can show you your position and speed based on GPS data, time (you have to specify your time zone), sort files by 3 types (normal, event, park). Also if you choose a date it will show what hour you were driving, minutes, seconds, you can click on the desired time and it will view the file that corresponds this date.

Also package contains 4 cable holders that allow you to properly mount power cable.

Just 2 small disadvantages: not very loud sound recording and quite sensitive G sensor.

I got home the other day and found this order from Amazon. I opened it up, then considered sending it back. It was not the unit which I thought I had ordered. Plus in reading the instructions, it says that the software is on the memory card. The accompanying memory card was blank. (BTW. It uses micro cards.)

Then I got onto the Internet to check it out. It was rated as having the best quality image that you could get from an auto accident camera. I had to try it out, at least, before sending it back. I figured that I would compare it to another Accident Camera that I have for in different vehicle.

I installed it in my car today. It uses a base with a double-sided sticker to attach to the windshield. Once you touch it to the glass, it's there permanently. I did not get mine level. I should have taken more time, as it says in the instructions.

Insert the unit in it's base, then insert the memory card, then attach the power. It's main modes are normal mode for driving. Event mode which is automatic when you hit a bump. And parking mode where it only saves files if there is something moving in the image. It also shuts off automatically when power gets low so that the camera does not to run your battery down while your car is parked. It has indicators to tell you which mode it is in, plus a voice will tell which mode it is in. It switches modes automatically.

The 1st thing it did was format the memory card and save it's software to the card. They claim that the software is compatible with PCs, some smart phones, and some GPS units which accept memory cards. All that I know is that it works on my laptop with Win 7.

One of the odd things is that all of the adjustments to the camera is done to the software on the memory card after the camera formats it. It starts up with the time zone set for Europe. It also starts up set for KPH instead of MPH. Everything is in English. You will have to adjust the time zone and set it to MPH. The software uses the entire height of a PC screen. I could not adjust software information page on my computer screen.

I took the camera for a spin. The video was excellent, compared to my other accident camera.

I'm keeping the camera.

I uploaded a video from this camera, but Amazon hasn't it live, yet. It's HD video and may be too large.

There are 2 versions of this camera. One is Korean and normally is only sold in Korea, according to the information available. The other is for the rest of the world, which is the one that I received from Amazon.

I've had the Blackvue installed in my Tundra for about 3 weeks now and I'm impressed for the most part. One major drawback is if your model vehicle's cigar lighter shuts off after so long with iginition turned off (to prevent car battery drainage). Then the camera turns off and you won't have video footage if someone hits your parked car. Apperently there's some "Power T" battery pack available out there to fix this problem. Doesn't seem to be availble for purchase at the moment. Still looking.

Camera clarity is good for the price. I could take snapshots from the micro-SD card onto my laptop of License plates and street signs that are readable. The incident mode trigger is a little sensitive at times even after adjustment but not a big deal, can easily ignore or turn way down or off, but better to error on the side of safety anyways. The motion sensor is super sensitive during daylight when turned up: raindrops, leaves blowing by, blinking lights set it off easily. It's not the greatest at nighttime though without a minimal amount of light, so park in a well-lit area or install a motion security light near your driveway. It will come on with cars passing by with their lights light, but someone creeping in the dark-I wouldn't count on it: hence the Viper system also installed.

The camera is easily concealed behind the mirror so people don't get too curious. GPS works great. Sound is good. Overall, I'd give this camera a 5 if they included some back-up battery pack system so I can keep it in actual parking mode for multiple days without draining my battery. It only uses 4V in full 1080 HD mode so, it probably would take a long time anyways.

If you try to update the firmware from the manufacturer, the unit tells you that it is a different model. This is the same problem noted on the reviews of the 400-1, read those before you buy. The unit gets very hot. Combine that with direct sun from the windshield and you can imagine how hot! This will be a good unit if they can work out the problems, not worth the money as it is. I am really sorry I bought it.

While the original DR400G-HD was plagued with reliability problems, this version claims to resolve the overheating issue. The main problems in the original camera are as follows:

"Please check SD card" error

Many people suspect the first 3 problems listed are a direct result of the camera overheating.

Overheating

Unfortunately it does not appear that the overheating problem has truly been resolved. Even though the default bit rate is much lower, many users complain the camera gets very hot and there are reports of overheating cameras.

Does what it's suppoed to do, be sure you have an area in the firewall that's easily accessible though as drilling a 3/4" hole requires some effort with a unibit and a drill. I have it installed on a 2002 Nissan Frontier. Although it's plastic, it feels like you get a durable part with a tight grip around the 4 gauge power cable. There is a rubber grommet that fits inside the flange so make sure that is centered correctly before tightening it down for the correct watertight fit.

Forget trying to fish the wire through an existing grommet, with this little guy all you have to do is find a spot, drill and install. Seals nice, provided you get the right size for the wire being run. Definitely a must have to perfect a smooth and water tight install.

This says it is for 4 gauge wire, but it is too big. I wouldn't want to have that big of a gep open in my firewall to allow exhaust gasses into my truck. I didn't use it.

Although these are rated for 4awg wire, they appeared too tight when tested. I understand that they need to be somewhat tight to prevent air/water from passing through, but not to the point when stripping off the protective coating becomes an issue/concern

This radio is decent for the price. Gets out to repeaters 15-20 miles away. Reception is decent too. I am pleased with the quality. I do have problems using the software on windows 7 machines, however it works good on xp. Programming is easy with the software. The radio can be manually programmed fairly easily. Not as easy as the software, but not as bad as I read in some reviews. I would buy again. Purchased for backup and portability.

I had purchased this radio as a gift for a friend of mine who was new to amateur radio. She was unfamiliar with handheld radios. The radio is not a true dual band. It can switch between both bands however they must be on the same transmit & receive channels to talk. Programming is rather difficult however the speech does confirm each key as it is pressed I think the software and cable would be a great help for programming faster and more accurately . The manual is very difficult to understand however if you are familiar with other handhelds it can be figured out. That is why I have ordered the software and cable for her to assist in the programming. Overall for the value the radio works well and as claimed, we have been able to hit the local repeaters with no problems. The delivery was extremely fast and the seller has been excellent in helping out with the radio. The radio is a good value for the money and fast service.

Cant beat the price. More than I expected. I was told it would be hard to program with out the soft ware but its not. Buy it and take the time to look around on the net for tips, its well worth your time. I have the compatible Baofeng (that I love) but this is much easier to program with out the soft ware. I hard wired several of these cables to my street and dirt bikes (BMW 800 GS, KTM 530, Husqvarna 310) for use with a Garmin Nuvi 550 and Oregon 450 T. They work well but prior units have failed. I traced the failure to breakage of the small internal wires due to shock and vibration. Riding aggressively off road creates quite a bit of shock and vibration. I suggest that if you use any of these small usb cable units on a motorcycle that prior to use, remove the box cover (2 small screws) and apply clear silicone sealant to the tiny wires and other internal pieces to secure them. Let dry, then reinstall the cover and you are ready to go. An added benefit to the silicone treatment is that it resists water which can also cause failure. Since going to this bit of extra effort i have had no problems and my GPS units work well. I would have rated 5 stars if the usb came pre-sealed and treated but then it probably would cost more. Overall these work great and the price is very reasonable.

Requires a little bit of wire stripping and soldering, as should be expected with a hardwire install. Works great with a Garmin Nüvi 1490T. Unlike some vehicle power solutions, it doesn't send the Nüvi into USB mode. The toroid makes it a little difficult to snake the cable through your vehicle, but it's not too bad. It would be nice if the plug was a right-angle.

I bought this to hardwire my dashcam, which uses a USB mini port for power.

It worked right off the bat after install.

Cord was long enough to install in my 2012 F150 from center dash through the dash conduit to passenger feet area.

The box made it a bit difficult to feed the wire through the conduit, but it eventually went through.

Word to the wise though you should really own proper wire strippers. There is a very short amount of bare wire by default. I tried to strip these with a knife and I made a mess of the ends.

I wired this into my motorcycle to power my Garmin and it worked well for about 6 hours. After that, my Garmin Nuvi 765T started reporting "Accessory connected to wrong port" every few minutes and stopped charging. I ended up ripping out this charger and replacing it with the OEM Garmin charger http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0086CTL5Y/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5 with leads soldered right to contacts and then wrapped in electrical tape. The OEM charger works much better.

I just bought the complete set of Husky floor liner mats (front, passenger, and cargo area) for my 2007 Honda Pilot. They are not bad but for the price I thought that they would be a little better quality. These mats are made out of a semi-rigid plastic NOT rubber and although they seem durable the plastic seems thin and flimsy compared to the premium rubber floormats I've bought in the past. They arrived promptly but the mats were rolled up in their flat boxes and since they are made of platic they developed crease marks and were slightly deformed when removed from the box. This also caused them to not lay flat when I put them in the car. The good thing is that these mats are custom made to fit your vehicle without the need to trim or shape them. Overall I am happy with the purchase but if given the chance again I would purchase rubber liners from WeatherTech instead of the plastic liners from Husky.

After several tours of a friend's "Ham Shack," and after receiving several helpful tutorials on this topic from my friend, I was ready to take the plunge.

It took about 12 hours to install the whole rig, and my oh my, it was a fun project. And watching those photovoltaic cells turn the sunlight into electricity is every bit as fascinating as I'd thought it would be.

If I were queen of the world (and it shouldn't be long now), I'd recommend that every homeowner in America have a set of these on their roof.

The controller that came with the solar panels is quite impressive. It has a digital display that's large and easy to read, and shows the remaining voltage in the battery power. The unit is made of aluminum and the knobs are solid and sure.

Another nice bonus that came with this set are two of these 12-volt LED lights. They do a good job of illuminating the dark corners of our little shed, where this unit is now installed.

Hubby and I spent countless hours figuring out the correct angle for the panels, and it varies, depending on the time of year. There were many factors such as the big old tall trees in our yard. After the "Solar System" was all set up, we were both AMAZED and pleased to see that it started charging immediately. What was so amazing? It was a dark, cold, gloomy overcast day.

I highly recommend this unit. The PVC frame is well-made and *fairly* sturdy and it's easy to assemble. Best of all, this system really works. One caveat, you'll need to buy a deep cycle marine battery (about $140) and a good quality inverter (I recommend at least 750 watts). Expect to spend another $60+ for the inverter.

A friend of mine recommended that I purchase heavy duty mats for my car as a means to keep it clean. The all-in-one mats from Walmart and other retailers simply wouldn't keep things clean. So I reviewed these Husky Liners that were custom fit with the same custom fit ones from Weathertech. So not only did I save about $60 but these Husky Liners have teeth on the bottom of the mats in order to keep a snug fit, so unlike the equivalent Weathertech ones, everytime you sit in your car the mats won't slide. This is so important and can in fact prevent potential injury. My vote definitely goes for Husky Liners Custom Fit!
