These are a lot heavier than I expected and are excellent quality but the tongue is a lot thicker than I expected and made it harder to connect to the battery than I wanted. I am not sure how well the set screw will hold over time and it is hard to get the oxygen free cable in them because the cable and the lug hole are the same size.

Sima STP-1500 DC to AC Power Inverter, 1500 Watt

I am a 18 Wheel Truck Driver. I bought the inverter at a truck stop to mainly run my 700 watt Sunbeam Micro Wave. I was happy for the 1st few uses. Now I know that this is some junk that was not worth my hard earned money. The inverter will run my tv, lap top and recharge phones or my Kindle. Its great for little stuff, nothing more. I can't run my micro wave without unplugging my tv or laptop, even if they are turned off. I have to also turn off my a/c in the truck just to be able to run my micro wave and, and I have to turn off and on again the inverter 5-10 times before I can get the inverter to work right.

And if the my truck is not in high idle 10,000 rpm's, my food would never get cooked. When hooking up the wires, don't use a fuse system because you will keep blowing them and wasting your money. I installed an inline circuit breaker and the circuit breaker works Great. I just wish the Sima 1500 Watt inverter would. The vibrations from the truck causes the red or hot wire to spin backwards and get loose. I am so disappointed with the Sima 100 watt power inverter that I am in the market looking for a better working power inverter. For these reasons I am giving this product a 2 star rating. I may have bought a bad one in the batch, but I will never buy another Sima again to find out.

Pico 5575pt Master Batt Isolator Switch

I had one of these switches a couple years ago to turn power off to the batteries on my RV. It was mounted on the battery housing and failed after two months because it filled with water. There was no seal or caps so it would fill with water when it rained. I saws this same switch on Amazon showing it with a rubber seal on top and a rubber cap to put on when the key was removed so I ordered one. Guess what? It came with no rubber seal around the key hole or rubber cap to put on when the key is removed. Just the switch and key. It will surely fill with water just like the old one.

This is a follow-up on this review. I contacted the seller concerning a return of this item. The seller was very proffessional and offered a full refund if I returned the item. I asked if they possible had one of the switches that did have the rubber seal and cap. He searched his inventory and found he did have the proper switch. I told him I would keep the one I had for other uses and purchased the correct switch over the phone. The seller even offered to give me some credit for the incorrect switch that I dedided to keep for other uses. I was very happy with the seller and their response to the problem.

I've installed this on my camper battery box as a camper disconnect. I used to have to pull the fuse to shut off DC power to the camper when not in use. This is much more convenient.

HELLA 002843011 2843 Series 100A Rating Battery Master Switch

Installed this on my RV to stop charging the battery for extended periods when hooked to 120 volt source and to avoid battery discharge when the RV is in storage. I installed the switch on an L-bracket mounted inside my locked front compartment on the 5th wheel. Mounting was simple. To prevent loss of the key, I used a nylon tie to fasten the key loosely to the electrical cables. It is sturdy, very easy to operate and does exactly the job I needed. Much better than the type that mounts on the battery post in my opinion.

I have a travel trailer that when purchased I was advised to disconnect the battery when not in use. I thought they meant long term but I quickly found out that with the electronics in new trailers, some stuff still draws from the battery even when off. I drilled a couple of holes & mounted this switch right on the battery box.

Disconnects the whole system and the key is removed & kept in the pass-through. Works great!

I bought this switch to add to my KZ Spree after finding the battery nearly dead each time I was going to use the RV. I had read that KZ used this type of switch on their 5th Wheel RVs so decided that I would install it on my Spree. I found a pre-drilled AC cover plate at a big box retailer and replaced a solid AC plate on a electrical box near the battery. I inserted the switch into the positive lead from the battery to the trailer and it works just great. Now when I put the RV into storage mode I turn the switch to the off position and stop all battery drain. I don't understand why this is not standard on the Spree line of RVs but it works for me and I would recommend this solution to any RVer to stop storage battery drain.

I had high hopes for this product. I'd been using a cassette style adapter for my MP3 player and wasn't happy with the normal tape hiss present in that style of adapter.

The unit works as described and is fairly convenient to use if you keep the "cheat card" of frequencies handy. You must also have a good, solid unused frequency in your area among the ones available on the Voyager. Unfortunately, I don't really have a frequency that's completely clear for it to broadcast through, which results in a fair amount of static and squeals and pops normally associated with AM radio stations.

I'm sure this product would work well for people in areas with a lot of clear frequencies, but I've gone back to my cassette adapter. The tape hiss is more acceptable to me than the random poor quality and static I frequently get with the Voyager.

Having used other FM transmitters for sending my MP3 output to my car FM radio, I can say that this unit is the best that I have used. The output is FM quality (which is the best you can expect from a FM transmitter)with good highs and good lows.

The output from the unit is very strong (compared to the other battery units I have owned). It takes a powerful station to create any "noise" under your signal.

I am buying several more for friends. Being a geek, I am very protective of my reputation and would not buy or suggest an inferior product.

This was my first time using an FM transmitter for sending my MP3 output to my car FM radio, and the unit works very good. It is very convenient the fact that it does not need extra batteries, so it does not have extra costs associated. It worked at the first attempt and continues to work well, although sometimes other stations interfere with the frecuency I choose. The sound quality is good, keeping in mind that you can only get FM quality.

I recommend it.

I fully expected to hate the FM Voyager Car Audio Adapter and have to return it. I've had terrible experiences with FM transmitters and held little hope for it, but this one solved my problem. It holds a signal better than anything I've tried before and the sound quality is pretty good. It beats the tape adapter for sure. I live in a big city where a lot of frequencies are occupied by radio stations, but the signals never cross! I gave it a rating of 4 stars because the retractable winding cord doesn't work that well, but it's hardly a reason not to get it.

Works well in general. Dont expect CD quality, but as good as any FM station as long as there is no local station at the selected frequency. An ipod battery charger feature would have been nice, but thats just a 'nice to have' really. Takes some getting used to for adjusting the volume on the ipod vs your stereo system to get the best sound, works well once you get it just the way you like it.

This key worked perfectly for me! Great alternative to paying $200+ at the dealership. I tried Home Depot and a couple of other hardware stores to have the key cut, but it was too large to fit into their machines.They recommended trying a locksmith, which I did, and they were able to cut the key in just a couple of minutes for free. After the key is cut, follow the programming directions which I admit, took me a few attempts until I had it memorized, but it really is simple. As a previous poster mentioned, you need to make sure that your car does not require an anti-theft microchip in the key. The computer device inside my key had fallen out and my broken key still started the car, so I knew this wasn't necessary for me.

The keys are good and programming them to open the doors was easy.

Unfortunately the keys WILL NOT start your car until you take your car and the keys to a locksmith ($125) or the dealer ($300) to have the anti-theft chip programmed.

The ad says "Easy programming at home, no dealership hassle!" but it's not true unless you want to open the door, but not drive the car.

This product worried me when I was trying to figure out whether or not it was the correct key. I took it to Ace Hardware, Home Dept, Lowes, two local locksmiths, and none of them had the machine that could fit the key due to it's large push button handle. I finally found a locksmith that had the correct machine and $5 later I was ready to program it. Programming was a piece of cake and took no longer than 5 minutes. Just follow the directions. Key works great! Ordering a second one now for my wife.

To make matters worse the key does not start the ignition. It fits the key hole, does start the stater motor, but the main engine doesn't kick in afterwards

I have used boat battery chargers on every big boat that I have owned. Some required very large systems, because they basically counted one(1)battery as a bank. I purchased this, not for my boat(I already have one on it), but for a back up to my solar charged 12 battery electric system(3 banks of 4 batteries).

I rewired both the solar charging system and the existing backup system to integrate it with this charger. Because it is probable, that batteries may be in use, even at night, I disabled the "Boost" 2nd stage of the charger, so that it would not be overcharging any of the battery banks. When overcharging they gas and boil out the electrolyte. With manual chargers, you have to sit right on them and make sure that they are not boiling over. The 1st "Bulk' Charge rate will take them to 80%, and the way that I have set the charger(manual explains how)it will then go to the third stage, "Float." All done, automatically.

Samlex makes great products and, 'they ain't cheap.' Amazon's vendor sells this cheaper than I have seen it, anywhere in this country. I was concerned that I might not be getting it when I was originally told that I would, but these good folks stepped up to the plate and got it to me exactly one day after it shipped. Incredible. This old, 'DIY Engineer' highly recommends both the Amazon partner and Samlex products.

The charger works perfectly. It has one ground (negative) terminal along with 3 positive terminals. The 3 stages (as I understand) will help prolong the life of a deep cycle battery. This charger has two dip switches that the user can adjust depending upon what type of battery is being charged.

I have the unit permanently mounted near my battery bank. The cord is run a couple of feet over to the receptacle. It is a tad bit inconvenient to pull the cord when I want to shut it down but I can live with that. I may be showing my ignorance by saying that it should have an on off switch. But that is the only thing negative that I have to say.

Got this camera to keep an eye on mares and foals being transported in my horse trailer. It works well for short trips. However, the battery life (w/out infared)is 3 hours or less. Not very helpful for a long haul, and recharge time is fairly long. I've rigged a 12 v battery in the tack room of the trailer to try to plug the camera into for longer trips. Haven't had the opportunity to use it "plugged in" yet, but may give a new review once I do.

Bottom line........... I'm not sorry I purchased this camera, only wish it did a little more than advertized. If wishes were horses...............

I had purchased a different model a few month back. The picture quality was very good but connecting it to may pc to download videos never worked. I also had to invert the video so I could attach the camera to my windshield vs the dash. So the bracket holding the camera was revesed so it never locked in. This caused the camera to fall a few times to the point it stopped working. At least i blamed it on the falls and not a defective product.

This camera has an excellent picture, it is setup up perfect out of the box and attaching it to a pc is simple. Excellent product. It even can be used as a PC camera. I wished I had bought this one the first time. I had a question that I sent to the seller. I got a response back fast and delivery of the camera was fast.

This was sent to me as "Eagle" dam cam which has no Eagle anywhere on the item or packaging. Some sellers such as Texas Wholesale charge $106 for "Eagle" but send you this cheapest version that you can find on the internet for $40. Forget about this junk. I purchase a Viewsonic a year ago and am happy.

This dash-cam works fine. Quality seems okay for the price range; it's all plastic.

All the buttons and features work. Can't talk about longevity because I've

only had it a few days. Video is so-so and stightly jumpy at high speed.

However, it's adequate for a dash-cam and more resolution or higher frame

rate would only eat up more FLASH storage.

Pros:

1) Performs all the basic functions of a dash-cam correctly.

2) Daytime video quality is adequate, although I wish the lens were wider angle.

3) Suction cup mount works quite well so far.

Cons:

1) Instructions are kinda stinky, although a techie can figure it out pretty easily.

2) Resolution is NOT 1080 or even 720. Maybe 480 you generally cannot read the license plate of the card ahead.

3) The same dash-cam can be found for signifcantly less than the $100 listed here.

My final advice is: shop around. I paid signifcantly less than $100. At the

price I paid, it would be 4 stars for value, but at $100, it's only 3.

I'm using this in a 2007 Ford Focus. A car that has a factory stereo with an auxiliary (AUX) button, but no auxiliary hook up jack; The jack is in the back and has to be brought forward by fiddling with electronics and taking the radio out.

To side step the problem of having no jack on my factory radio, no want to mess with the electronics, and no real need to buy a new stereo, I was lead to this option by Pyle which plugs into my Power Outlet.

There are three options that I've found to play music through the device:

SD Card

USB Flash Drive

MP3 Player via included Audio Jack Cable

USB Flash Drive: Up first to try the device out, I loaded up some songs on my USB flash drive via my computer and stuck it into the device. I set the Pyle device to a radio station, then set my cars radio to the same station. After inserting the USB drive, the device read the music very quickly. During playback, a static noise could be heard through out. It wasn't constant, nor very bad, but it was noticed immediately. I think that one could live with it as music plays with a sort of radio quality, but I was shooting for perfection so I went on to Option 2...

SD Card: Removing the USB and inserting the SD Card, the device read the music, again, very quickly. During playback however, you could hear a constant static noise that would go up and down in pitch. Going through a few different types of songs, the noise never went away, or got better. This option for me was worse than the USB stick so I went to the last, and assumed best, hope for great MP3 playback. Option 3...

MP3 Player/Audio Jack: The Pyle player comes with a regular audio cable for connecting MP3 players. I have a middle of the road MP3 player I bought from Walmart for $20 (a GoGear Vibe, to be specific) and so, having songs already on it, I connected it up and found no, to very little, static! The only downside is that the volume is now maxed out. I like to jam out sometimes and, either through the Pyle's fault or my MP3 player's fault, I have to crank up the volume dial in my car all the way to even get it loud enough to hear over 55mph. In comparison when listening to the radio or CDs, the radio volume bar never went past 3/4. I later found out that I could maximize the volume of playback by adjusting the MP3 player's volume, but again, it did little to get it much louder and at max volume, I was missing the quality I got from burning my own CDs.

The only other negative thing I found is that I must unplug the device whenever I leave the car because, if I don't, the screen stays lit. Being that my car is parked alone hours at a time in the middle of the night, having brightly glowing electronics inside isn't a good thing. You never know who might be walking around with an idea of breaking into cars. It's only a minor inconvenience to reach up a little and pull the device out, but some sort of on/off button would have been a nice idea.

In conclusion, this is a great and stress-free option if you want to listen to MP3s in your car, but you're not wanting to buy a new stereo or mess with wiring (even if it doesn't take a lot to do). But this is far from great quality. Three stars is perfect because, it works, sometimes great, but I wasn't too impressed.

Kensington makes excellent products. This Powerbolt Duo car charger is no exception. This Kensington car charger is good for charging the Apple iPad and Amazon Kindle Fire, and it comes with a micro USB cable for the Fire, but it costs $30.

The Kindle Fire requires an electrical charging current of 1.8 A (1800 mA), so only chargers meeting current output of more than 1.8 A can charge it in reasonable amount of time. Many chargers on the market have output current of 2.1A. Make sure you see this specification on the product page. Kensington, Skiva, and Scosche all make car chargers that meet the 2.1 A requirement but are much more expensive.

This is the kind of cable (USB 2.0 on one end and micro USB on the other) that some reviewers were saying that Amazon should have included in the Fire box. It is used for charging if the connection is between the Fire and a USB charger, or copying files from your computer to the Fire and vice versa, if the connection is between the Fire and your computer.

This charger has two USB ports that share the 2100 mA output, so if you want fast charging, use just one port to charge the Fire/iPad, and leave the other not used by anything else.

This combo costs $16, about half the cost of the Kensignton.

I would only recommend the Kensington if you want to charge the Fire or iPad AND another USB device that consumes less than 1.0 A SIMULTANEOUSLY and don't want to sacrifice charging time. Physically, the Kensington is smaller and also well-made.

The other two reviews don't say much of anything other than negative stuff so I am going to tell you about the good stuff. I ordered this for my first Kindle. No it is not black like the picture or at least mine is not. Mine is white. It does work nicely when I have been in a crunch to charge my Kindle while traveling in the car. No it's nothing fancy that needs to cost a ton of money! Amazon has provided a good product for charging the Kindle. I hope this helps anyone they may want to purchase. It really does work!

My old remote to my 05 Tahoe Z71 had shorted out thanks to a friend's son who slobbered all over it. The dealership wanted to charge me $80 for a new remote and "special programming". Luckily I'm not part of the 90% who fall for service dealer bull crap. I ordered this for a fair price, it came with customized instructions specifically for the year span and model of my truck. Took me literally less than a minute and a half to program and it's very responsive just like a new remote should be. I can lock and set the alarm on my truck from inside my house with no problem unless I'm in the back yard. Trust me people, this is the company you want to order your remotes from. I'm ordering another one once I get another truck key made for the wife. We ordered a new keyless remote and received very promptly. After programming we still had problems with locking and unlocking all doors on our vehicle. Called tech at Discount Keyless and he was extremely helpful and we discovered that it was an issue with a lock actuator in the car dash not the remote fob. Dave then gave me instructions on how to return the fob and was pleasant and very knowledgeable throughout our experience. Excellent customer service for this transaction and would definitely recommend company.

Bought this for my 2004 Tahoe to replace the factory one that had died long ago. Shipped quickly (5 days from NJ to FL) and literally took about 45 seconds to program. First of all the fobs arrived super fast. The key fobs are new and the programing was fast and easy. If you buy this from the dealer you will easily pay more than double and you can take it from me because I worked in dealer ships all my life. I had a after market alarm in my truck when I both it and it was starting to malfunction so I decided to give this OEM part a try and I am glad I did. Thank you to the seller and Amazon. UPDATE the batteries in both remote died after one month of use so I contacted the supplier and they would not send replacement batteries. ( UPDATE ) One fob was draining the battery but the company sent me a new one after I returned the old one just remember the warranty is only good for ( 90 days )!!!!!!

This hands free kit works well. Very good volume. Holds charge for very long and the range is quite good. There are times I may forget to switch it off when not in use and it still keeps charge for long. I would recommend this product.
