I purchased this product, with the recommendation that it would help maintain my battery life with my cell phone. It was explained, the regular chargers that you receive with cell phones, actually damage the batteries and shorten their life. I have had this problem with many of the cell phones I have purchased, not knowing it might be the charger causing the problem. I just got my daughter another phone, I want this one to last, so I am trying this charger.
