As soon as I open this and put it in my car it did not work, the light never came on and it never charged my phone. I have had this charger less then 24 hours and it is being sent back.

This works pretty well, and considering the dearth of accessories around for the Gigabeat, you have to take what you can get.

It works really well if you only use it as an FM transmitter or battery charger, not both at once. However with the power and audio cords plugged in, there is a distinct high frequency whine. It you're travelling at highway speeds, you probably won't notice it over the noise of the engine. But it seems to vary based on engine speed, so during a stop-start drive around the suburbs you will notice it. It's a pity they couldn't have filtered this noise out, especially since it's "second generation", so presumably someone would have noticed this before.

It's built pretty well and I like the idea that I can get other tips in the future to use it for other music devices or phones.

We were happy to get the car adapter to our cell phone. We got it soon and it works well.

They fit absolutely perfectly in my 2010 Prius II. It literally couldn't fit any more perfectly. I like the color, and the rear covers a all of the area and has a nice lip on it so it catches snow and mud really well. They are a bit expensive, but I'm very pleased with how they look and fit.

Unbelievably nice! I LOVE these mats. They don't have the leaky holes that the Weathertech mats have, they look nicer, they're a darker grey, and the lip goes up higher. I am thrilled with these mats. I was also worried that they'd feel like a 'hard' plastic under my feet, or that my heel would slide easily on them; neither is an issue at all. My wife and I are both thrilled with these mats.

I purchased these directly from Husky and was very disappointed. I bought two front liners for my FJ Cruiser.

First problem was quality. For $90 you expect something substantive, these things are made of plastic about as thick as (2) gallon milk jugs sandwiched together. This is a problem where the lip of the liners (designed to keep liquids pooling in them) is close to the doors of the car, where you get in and out. After only trying them a few days, you can see where the cheap quality would lead to bending and damage in this area.

Second and biggest problem is that in the FJ Cruiser they attach to the floor with hooks built into the floor. FJ has a plastic floor, so if you don't latch them, they slide. The holes in the liners were too small and when I forced them over the hooks, the plastic got bent around the edges of the holes, damaging them and meaning the hooks didn't secure them properly. It wasn't hard to see where after some use, they would not have stayed hooked whatsoever. This is a serious design flaw. A little effort on Husky's part could have fixed this, they only had to cut the right size hole and add a grommet around the edges of it. Lazy.

The liners fit perfectly, but that seems a moot point, given their serious flaws and cost.

Husky made me pay to ship them back. Very bad business, considering they didn't work out because of cheap design efforts on their part. The customer service rep told me I had to pay to send them back, that why should they, since they gave me free shipping. Normally I might accept that, but once you see these things, you'll realize they cost all of $1 or $2 to manufacture, making free shipping inclusive in a $90 price tag something of a joke.

I bought Weathertech rubber mats to replace these. The Toyota FJ all-weather mats also seem better. Both are cheaper, about half the price.

Husky doesn't deserve business with products like this one. I usually don't write reviews, but between the quality of the product and my service experience, I think others should know before they buy.

I am extremely pleased with this item. They fit perfectly in my 2010 Prius and are very well made. They grip well to carpet and do not slide at all. The price is great, especially considering the similar "Weathertech" item is nearly $170.00. These get the job done for a much more reasonable price. Before buying this product, XM radio scored a 10 out of 10 in my book. With this product, XM goes all the way to 11. Yes 11 out of 10. No longer do I have to reach across and change stations. In addition, the scan feature means that I am listening to more and better music. Like digital cable or satellite tv, you can now scan stations to see what's playing without actually changing the channel. In short, if you own a roady you owe it to yourself to get the remote.

Having this remote makes my driving safer! I clip it to my seatbelt and don't need to reach across the dash every time I want to change a station.

Even better--the "scan" feature is a lot of fun. With so many stations I rarely got to hear a lot of what's available on XM. The scan feature is fun. It will scan either my presets, or the whole XM spectrum.

Also easier to save songs in my playlist. The large XM button is easier to find than the one on the corner of the Roady.

If you've already bought a Roady, spend another couple of bucks and get this, too. You need one.

This remote works nicely, user friendly. The buttons DO NOT light up or glow in the dark, but not a big issue. Overall I think its a wonderful item and makes having XM radio safer because you don't have to take your eyes off the road to use it.

The Roady II is an excellent product, but if you're eyes are no longer what they once were, you will find its small buttons to be a challenge to both see, and operate in a bouncing vehicle. This is especially true if you must mount the Roady at arm's length or more. The remote control really is a "must have" item, and turns a very good product into an excellent one. The only functions missing from the remote are access to features that select basic setup items or options such as the selection of the display color on the Roady. For those, you still have to use the tiny buttons on the Roady itself. This is a no-brainer. Get one!

This is very handy when you will not be near an electrical outlet are using your phone a lot. I ordered this product about 2 months ago, and finally decided to review it. To sum it up, it sucked. After about 3 or 4 days it broke in such a way that you had to hold the button on it for it to charge otherwise it would go off. The reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because in the brief amount of time when it worked, it worked well. I don't know if I just got a bad one or if this occurrence is part of the product, but I do not suggest getting this one. I installed this unit inside the headlight housing of my Yamaha V Star 950. After carefully studying the motorcycle wiring diagram, I learned there is a pre-wired connector for an optional light bar accessory. Since I wasn't using the accessory light circuit I determined it to the perfect location to tap into the motorcycle's electrical system. And the light circuit has power only when the engine is running so tapping in there will prevent the GPS from drawing power from the motorcycle battery when not in use.

There was just enough room inside my headlight housing to insert the 12V power transformer with the USB connector threaded out the back of the headlight housing. Next I plugged the USB connector into my GPS device mounted on the handlebar and cranked the engine. Viola!

I have no clue what would cause some GPS devices to switch into data mode. But my Nuvi 255 correctly switches from battery to direct current mode when the engine is running and switches back to battery power when the motorcycle engine is turned off.

Used this to power my Garmin Nuvi 760 & 765. Anyone with decent techincal skills will be able to intall this perfect. Connect the red wire to 12v switched power. And Black wire to ground. Make certain 12v source is switched power to prevent a battery draw. Which will kill the battery if the Nuvi is attached while the car is parked.

I ran the wire to the glove box to keep the garmin chagred and ready to go when i need to use it.

My GPS intermittently switched from charge to battery mode in use on the motorcycle--in other words, the power supply was intermittent. Then after proper installation and very little riding for three months it DIED. Checked the mini-USB connector: the metal shell was not connected to ground and two of the connector pins were shorted together. Also discovered the power cable is not shielded and has very light-gauge wires in it compared with the wiring out of the cigarette lighter charger that Garmin supplies. Cannot recommend this unit. Buy something better. Installation on a motorcycle ain't so easy. You don't want to have to do it twice.

UPDATE: Disassembled the Garmin cigarette lighter power supply, put it in a plastic box and wired it into the motorcycle. Now have steady power.

I have had this installed for about 6 weeks. It worked fine initially.

The installation had two issues that several others complained about. The thickness of the power and ground wires made it almost impossible to wire it into my 96 Accord using splices. The size of the box made it difficult to zip tie it to prevent it rattling or moving around.

3 days ago, my Nuvi 1350 started going into data mode before rebooting into map mode. This behavior was followed random reboots while on the road.

If you are going to purchase this item, make sure it is easy to access when it fails.

Bought this last winter and just got around to installing it. I was leery after reading the reviews, so I opened it up. One small phillips screw and the case pops open.

Inside I found a small circuit board, inexpensively made with through-hole components. I could see several capacitors and inductors that looked vulnerable to vibration. So I warmed up my hot-melt glue gun and potted all the components on the circuit board into place. Took about 5 minutes including re-assembly. Epoxy would have worked as well.

Installed it on my 74 Suzuki GT550 and so far, it works like a charm. Wouldn't fit inside the headlight shell but I was able to tuck it in behind the headlight bucket mounting ears and secure it using a couple of wire ties.

I found a plastic cap to protect the USB connector from the elements, and I strap the connector to the Nuvi mount when not in use.

Time and miles will tell how it holds up. The bike is an old two-stroke, without the benefit of modern suspension, so vibration will be a factor.
