I purchased two of these and one arrived with a dent in it. This was probably due to them being in the same box with absolutely no packing material in the box. So, one must have banged against the other in transport. I am not sure if this affected the performance or not.

My real problem was actually with the digital display. I found that the LED's for the display put a constant drain on the capacitors, which made it useless for my purposes. I needed them to hold a charge while not hooked up. This may not be an issue for others.

The only drawback I found to this cap is its inability to cover the live terminals. It fit just fine, although the included screws did not hold the MDF board material for very long at all. The mounts worked fine, and so far, I have had no issues. It's a good capacitor for the cash, but keep some liquid tape and some coarse screws handy.

I bought this to change tires at the race track. But I just keep finding uses for it. Tons of power for a cordless and decent run time on the little lithium batteries. At first the little batteries do not fit, but there is a ridge in the tool there to force you to use the big batteries. All you have to do is grind it off and the smaller kit batteries will fit. Works great for: driving in big lag bolts for a deck, changing a flat tractor tire in the middle of a field, swapping car tires.

What it does lack is variable speed, but this is a brute force tool anyway. The little led light is handy too. FYI, at the track, one battery will do almost 2 sets of tires tourqued to 100 ft/lbs.

I used to make my living as an auto mechanic. I used a friends Dewalt cordless 1/2" impact wrench and was very impressed but when I saw the price I backed off. I own several other makita tools that use the same lithium-ion battery and have been very happy with them. When this unit came up for less than half the price of the Dewalt I jumped. I still own a 1/2" air impact and this cordless wrench appears to have as much power as the air wrench. It is heavy especially with the battery but at least there is no hose attached to it. I like the shock absorbing battery mount. I think that's a great idea.

I purchased this solely for removing the 1 1/8" pinion nut on a 15 year old Jeep Cherokee. They're torqued from the factory to 200 ft-lbs. In MN, the salty roads lead to a lot of rust on threaded fasteners, so I was worried about being able to remove such a large, heavily torqued nut.

This impact had absolutely no problem getting the nut off. 2-3 seconds of hammering and off it came. For anyone who lives in the rust belt, buy one of these immediately. I wish I had gotten one sooner, it is SO much better than a 2' breaker bar with a pipe over the end of it. Plus it's still small enough to get into most places.

It paid for itself on just this one repair as the local shop quoted me ~$250 for this fix.

For anyone who frequents junkyards, this tool's value is immeasurable. Taking apart rear ends or suspensions is absolutely no problem, though I recommend an extra battery.

Cons? It's a bit heavy, especially at arm's length, but it removes nuts and bolts so quickly that you don't have to hold it for long.

These come witha cover to protect the connections once terminated. The additional tab under the screw is great for making tereminatons without extra lugs. Occasionally you can get your wire ueder the base metal on the terminal, but that only usually happens with smaller gauges

I decided to purchase the Husky Liners instead of the equivalent Weathertech product because of Husky's competitive pricing and the overall-positive reviews I have seen on this product on Amazon.com and automotive forums. So far, I have not been disappointed -the material is incredibly durable, the beige color is a very good match for the beige interior of my 2006 4Runner Limited, and I have not found (as have some other reviewers) that the liners are exceedingly difficult to remove from the vehicle for cleaning.

The only complaint that I have is that the second-row liners that I purchased for my 4runner were made for vehicles with and without power seats -if you have the power seats, Husky instructs you to cut out two tabs from the portion of the liner that rests against the tracks of the power seats to accommodate forward/backward motion -it's easy to remove the tabs with a sharp knife, however, the tabs themselves are not in exactly the right spot, so when the seats are moved all the way back, the seat interferes with the liner a bit. Not enough of an issue to prompt me to spend more on Weathertec.

First off I should say that I am not a professional in any field that would use this tool, so my comments are made from the standpoint of a layman making casual use of this product. That said, I am very happy with the performance and quality of this impact wrench.

The product itself has a nice, solid feel to it. The grip is comfortable and both the trigger and the switch to change the direction of the drill are conveniently placed. The body is sturdy and light enough for continual use. Two battery packs came with the unit so that you can always have a fully-charged battery to use. The pack slides on a locks easily, and removal is the same way.

As for performance, I feel the wrench has enough torque to get most normal jobs done. Start-up to full-speed is instantaneous when depressing the trigger all the way, and it also has a nice control over the variable speed aspect although the instructions caution against varying the speed too often because that will shorten the life of the wrench. And of course it is very handy having the automatic part of the wrench to save the trouble of having to manually tighten or untighten things.

There is a ring of three white LED lights around the drill part that comes in handy to see what you are doing when the room lighting isn't sufficient. It also comes with a nice little carrying case. I found that sockets click on and off quite easily.

All in all this is a solid, well-built product that should last a long time.

great size good tightening torque but will only remove 40ft-lb tightned bolts. Would be nice to remove as tight as it tightens but for the size and the lights in the end its probably worth the money

Reading the other reviews, I knew that there was trouble syncing it with certain devices. So when tests showed I couldn't sync it with either of the Bluetooth headsets we have, I was frustrated, but not all that surprised. I went back to amazon to look for another brand to try instead.

In my searches, I found that there are similar devices which are receivers, allowing you to plug normal non-Bluetooth headphones in and receive Bluetooth audio. One looked very, very similar (TaoTronics BTI-005 Bluetooth Audio Dongle Receiver), and I remembered that when I'd opened the package for the item, there was a male-to-male coupler included. I had actually thought to myself, "Why is there a coupler in here...why would I plug headphones in to a transmitter?"

To test my suspicion, I plugged some old headphones into the coupler, then the device, and tried to pair it with my cell phone instead of a headset. Ta-da...it's a receiver. I double checked the package, and there's a sticker that clearly labels it a transmitter...must've been one of those occasional Amazon packaging mix-ups, first time it's happened to me.

I'll see if I can get the right version, or a different brand, and update my review.

P.S. For what it's worth, the receiver did work pretty well.

This is an inexpensive DC digital volt meter with a cigarette lighter plug. It has no instructions to speak of and doesn't bend like the more expensive ones. To use it just plug it into the cigarette lighter port and turn on the ignition. If the voltage is less than 12 volts with the engine off and goes up to about 13-14.5 volts with the engine running, almost a guarantee that your battery is headed to that junk yard in the sky.

I've got a nice meter like this that I paid two or three times as much for it but this one is so inexpensive that I can just pitch it in the little tool compartment in the back of the car. You could also leave it plugged in if you are curious about the car's voltage under different conditions. Works fine, not a super bright display but as cheap as it is who's to complain.

The mini crowbar broke almost immediately, good thing it had two sides to it. Had the hardest time removing the old battery, TomTom sure knows how to glue things down.

Realized there was no double tape included in the kit and I didn't have any at home, had to salvage little pieces of adhesive from the old battery.

All in all with a little determination everything worked out.

When your TomTom Go 930 won't hold a charge, TomTom support offers a too bad so sad recommendation. The TomTom support team tells you that there is no way to change the battery; not so fast. This product is for the handy gadgeteer. The DVD included with the product clearly explains the process of changing out the battery. They supply the tools, you supply some dexterity and perhaps a hair dryer to loosen the glue that holds the original battery in place. You will need a well lit work space and perhaps a small tweezers to help replace screws on the motherboard. Be patient, especially if you have to use the hair dryer for a few minutes too loosen the old glue.

At first I really liked this amp as the Highs/High Mids are wonderful. I had no problems until I recently had trouble with my Hifonics brutus hifi2500d. Since i had problems i removed my subs and amp until i can figure out what happened. This is where this amp comes into place. I messed with it a little to get more bass out of my 6.5 alpine type r (in doors) and alpine type s (in rear panels). I've tried everything to make sure i have the right airspace behind all speakers including pods and dynomating. The mids to low mids are very choppy and sound as if the speakers are distorting. It's very annoying. And to top it all off, i can only turn my volume up halfway on the amp and from my clarion eq without distortion and even then about 15 minutes listening time at those volumes will cause my amp to over heat and go into protection mode. I have it in a huge open space where it is extremely easy for air to get to the amp to cool it down. i've even tried keeping it turned off with the ac blasting until it gets pretty chilly in my car and it still over heats and turns off only giving me maybe 2 more minutes max. I like listening to rock music at a pretty decently high level of sound. but in order for me to have non stop music i have to have the volume only turned to 1/4 volume. Kinda stinks. For 150 bux you cant ask much from an amp but im pretty sure i should be getting better than that. I've also tried calling hifonics considering there are no dealers near me and left my phone number and all the detail i can in a message. After at least 5 calls and 3 messages i havent heard back from them. I think in the near future im going to save up and get an alpine pdx series. If you like your highs and high mids to go with your subs this is an alright choice. If you like quality, just look a little deeper into your choices as i did not and am not happy with my choice. Oh and i've had this amp for about 3 months now.

I recently purchased a battery for my Mercedes and it had a different battery vent tube than the original. Bought this one and then found an old one from a different battery that worked. I went to return it to amazon and they said they'd refund me the price and I can keep it. This is why I buy through amazon. The battery vent tube looks like it would function perfectly. I only needed the vent elbow and it fit perfectly when I purchased the battery from my dealer and did not know I needed this since the old one snapped in half when I tried to pull the elbow off the old battery.

I live on a yacht so the temp and humidity level is extremely important for a number of reasons. The temp on this unit is 3.4 degrees on average too high (inconsistent) and the humidity level fluctuates by as much as 10 %. The unit is also very slow to react to changes in temperature and humidity. There is no way to calibrate the unit either. Very disappointing.
