At fifteen bucks I am more than happy. It's unintrusive, bright to see, clear to read, and above all, it's accurate. The alarm is a must and seems to be sensitive enough to maintain a perfect growing enviroment yet, not poorly going off giving false alarms due to false readings. I have two, and I've had others like it before but this device is particularly more reliable than the rest.

This digital device makes it easy to measure both the temperature and the humidity. We heat our home with a woodstove, so it's important to keep the humidity up. I like the size, the ease of operation, and the nice, large numbers. Compared with our other (harder to read) thermometers and hydrometers, it is accurate.

I live on a yacht so the temp and humidity level is extremely important for a number of reasons. The temp on this unit is 3.4 degrees on average too high (inconsistent) and the humidity level fluctuates by as much as 10 %. The unit is also very slow to react to changes in temperature and humidity. There is no way to calibrate the unit either. Very disappointing.

i install flooring most times hardwoods with the occasional laminate job. in any case humidity is a huge factor not only for install but finishing also.

with this meter the readings are almost instant and definitely right. it's cool too to show the customer for basement jobs where humidity is usually higher.
