Car Dashboard Video Camera Cam Accident DVR Full Hd Resolution , 2.0" Ltps TFT LCD Display

Car Dashboard Video Camera Cam Accident DVR Full Hd Resolution , 2.0' Ltps TFT LCD DisplayUnit turned off after 5 seconds. Internal battery would not charge. Manual impossible to understand. Ended up getting a Vacron for $300. After looking at other dashboard cameras, it appears that you won't get anything reliable until you get into the $300 range. The $29-$59 dashboard cameras all appear to be junk. Some people apparently get them working, but the vast number of bad reviews on most of them should have been a warning.

Suggest getting dashboard cameras that record in H.264 rather than AVI. AVI is "freeware" whereas for H.264, the manufacturer had to pay for that software which suggests that the rest of the system is equally high quality. If you don't really need a dashboard camera, any of them will work, but if you really want one you can depend on, you'll have to step up...

Just got it today. So far its working great. It took a little to learn the functions, nothing difficult. At the 640 setting the picture is clear, can read plate numbers. So far I'm impressed. I'm using a 2gig card, and am recording a total of 16 min in loop mode. I've ordered a larger card. So far I'm very happy, I will update after more testing. Thus far I would give the pic a 8, the sound a 6, and the mount a 5. At this point I would recomend this to a friend.

Battery Tender Plus 12-Volt / 1.25-Amp Battery Charger, Pink

Battery Tender Plus 12-Volt / 1.25-Amp Battery Charger, PinkWe purchased this item to recharge and maintain battery energy in our classic car. The instructions were easy to follow and the item performed better than expected. I also appreciate the pink unit supporting a worthy cause.

BATTERY Tender in first class charger for those hard to get places where battery's are located like boats and motorcycles . I love my three owned TENDERS

Buy Battery Tender Plus 12-Volt / 1.25-Amp Battery Charger, Pink Now

I just love the pink!!! I gave my old battery tender to the boyfriend. It still worked fine, but I wanted pink and he needed a tender. I keep my bike hooked up when not in use as this prolongs the battery life. I keep leads on the bike's battery (included with the tender) and plug in after my rides. It's good for vintage cars as well, like a friend's Mustang. The battery is safely charged and then tended -just leave it hooked up.

We bought this unit to keep a pair of classic camaro batteries in good working order. Right out of the box we tied it into a battery using the ring terminals without problem. The unit cycles the battery up to full strength and gives an obvious indication of where you are in the charge cycle. As a bonus my wife is tickled pink that it's pink and has the bonus of helping to fight breast cancer. Would recommend this unit to anyone.

Tekonsha 90195 P3 Electronic Brake Control

Tekonsha 90195 P3 Electronic Brake ControlConsider this... The combine cost of your tow vehicle and trailer... The combine weight of your tow vehicle and trailer... The fact that your trailer may well weigh more than your tow vehicle... And that moron that just jumped in your lane then slammed on his brakes... This is NOT the time to think to yourself, "maybe I should've gotten a better brake controller." Seriously, when the difference in cost is under $100, is it really not worth buying the best?

I've used the Tekonsha P3 for two and half years now and I have nothing but praises to sing! Features, user friendliness, and results! This unit has it all. First lets talk about the mechanism. It uses a digital G-Sensor as apposed to a physical pendulem. Why is this a benifit? Because there are no downhill issues that you see with the physical and analog type sensors. Prior to digial sensors, the downhill slope would throw off the pendulem and the brake controller either would send a weaker current to the brakes or none at all. Some people have questioned the reliablity of digital sensors. But with more than 10 years of full production digital units, complaints are actaully less than the older analog units. Consider this as well, the sensor is not only quicker but more accurate as well, hard to soft braking is much safer now. How does it work? Just like any other accelerometor...it senses the volume deceleration and then computes an appropriate voltage and current to send to the trailer brakes based on a percentage of the user's max output setting.

Let's talk interface. A four button face with a roughly 1.5" LCD display plus a belly mounted manual switch. With no brakes connected, this unit will dispay the default "Tekonsha Screen". Once brakes are connected via the trailer plug, the unit will display the "Tow Screen". It has a large two/three read out that displays 0.0 as a default. While sitting still and once brake pressure is applied it will jump to approximately 10% of the max set output, after 3 seconds of being stationary it will move up to 25% power. This is designed to "hold" the trailer if stopped on an incline or decline. Setting the max brake power is a snap with the two "Up" and "Down" buttons on the left side of the face. The value moves up and down by 0.1 increments and quite quickly if you hold the button down. The last two buttons are "boost" and "page" which I will discuss when I talk features. The last button is the manual brake override. This bottom mounted spring loaded slider switch will manually add braking power to the trailer brakes (up to the user set max) even without depressing the vehicles brake peddle. This is a standard feature on all brake contorllers, but I wanted anyone looking for their first brake controller to understand what this was. Lastly, is the warning screen. It's a deep red screen with a trailer and a "no" sign. This indicates that the controller which had previously sensed brakes connected no longer can sense them. Generally an indication of a poor trailer connection at the wiring harness or a problem with the brakes themsleves.

Let's talk features. I've mentioned the "Boost" button, but what is it? There are 4 levels of boost for trailer brakes. Off, LV. 1, LV. 2, & LV. 3. Boost adds a brief (fraction of a second) burst to the trailer brakes which slows the trailer slightly more than the normal pressure would and keeps it from bumping or pushing the tow vehicle when brake pressure is initailly applied. Very important if as many are these days, your trailer weighs more than your tow vehicle. After the burst it returns the voltage and current to the G-sensors reccomended output. There isn't a real scientific method for figuring what you need to use. The picture on the home screen shows LV1 as small trailer, 2 as a med tailer, and 3 as a large trailer. My trailer is a 6K lb. TT and I just leave it on the default LV. 1 boost. Everytime the units is powered it returned to the default LV. 1. The unit will power down after 15 mins with no trailer connected AND no input from the brake signal wire. The "Page" button will take you to a second screen that you navigate with the "up", "down", and "Boost" (now "enter") buttons. This sceen has some cool features as some useful features. "Backlight" allows you to brighten or dim the brightness of the display. "Color" lets you set the color of the display. (Yeah I know, unessesary, but cool) The default color is "White" which is more of a light blue. There's also Magenta, Orange, Dk Blue, Violet, Lt. Green, and Dk. Green. Red is not availible as it's reserved as a warning color for the "no trailer connection" warning screen. Back to the page screen. There's also a VERY USEFUL troubleshooting screen. It lets you view diagnostics on the fly and over the road that can give you four digit readouts of battery voltage, stoplight (brake input signal) voltage, brake voltage, and brake current. This screen alone is worth the cost of this brake controller! When you first connect your tailer do some tests and record the max input you set, the output under normal braking conditions, as well as the brake voltage and amperage. If down the line you get the feeling the brakes aren't working properly, you can re-run this test and see if it's an electrical problem or not. Finally when your done, pressing the page button will return you to the "tow screen."

Installation. A snap for anyone that has a factory tow package. Tekonsha offers plug and play wiring harnesses that plug into most make and model years of trucks. If you have to have it installed or choose to install it yourself as I did, it can be challenging. But it's a simple four wire hookup. A 12V input from the battery (running thru a 30A auto reset breaker NOT a fuse), an output to the brake pin of your 6 or 7-way trailer connector, a stoplight input running to your vehicle's stoplight switch behind the brake peddle, and lastly a frame ground. The mount can be a little challenging to install because of the akward access to the screws, but it can be mounted at nearly any angle other than strait up or down and provided the face is facing a close to directly rearward as possible.

All in all, this is probably the most important review I've ever done. This controller will save you grief and keep you and your vehicle safe. Make sure for your safety, your families safety, and the safety of all those on the road you buy the brake controller that does it's job the best. Buy the Tekonsha P3.

I bought the P3 just prior to a trip to Florida hauling a large dual axle trailer with a 2007 Toyota Tundra. I also bought the wiring harness for the P3 which was designed for the already installed factory towing package.

The brake controller arrived by UPS the day prior to my trip and I took it out to the truck to install and quite frankly spent more time trying to figure out where I wanted to put it than it took to setup. After mounting the controller with the supplied bracket I backed up to the trailer and plugged the trailer in and followed the directions to set up the brakes.

Everything worked as advertized and it handled the trailer quite well. When loaded for the backhaul to Grand Rapids, the trailer was 10k+ pounds. The trip went well and I used both the proportional and the manual settings to see how they worked. Again I was pleasantly surprised as it worked as advertized and there was not much of a learning curve. There were numerous options such as lighting and colors etc which I fooled with a bit but not extensively. It stays on for about 15 minutes after the truck is turned off to hold the trailer brakes while you are outside.

My overall impression was very good and I don't have any negative comments at this point. I especially like the option of a wiring harness that is made specifically for my vehicle it was one of the easiest electronics installations I have ever done.

This was a typical Amazon order...it arrived as advertised and on time. Installation in my Toyota Tundra center console went well at first, but after I had everything put back together I checked the controller one last time and got an error message that wasn't addressed in the manual. I called Tekonsha tech support and they told me it was an internal fault and the controller needed to be replaced. According to the technician there was a string of faulty controllers that were built and this was probably one from the bad batch. I appreciate their honesty!

I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent me a replacement unit. At first I was concerned that it might be from the same inventory batch, and possibly faulty as well, but I installed it and it has worked flawlessly for the last 3 weeks and several hundred miles of towing a 6300 lb. trailer.

Amazon did a great job sending the replacement unit instead of making me deal with the OEM for obtaining a replacement. They paid all shipping and the return was painless.

The brake controller is great, I don't even feel the trailer behind me when I brake. It has some nice features such as variable boost settings and battery voltage readout. I did a lot of research before I chose the Tekonsha and I have no regrets. I would purchase another without hesitation.

First, this is a great unit and rock solid at brake control. I upgraded from a Tekonsha Prodigy. It's Simple! Just removed the older unit (Prodigy) from it's existing bracket, unplugged the existing wiring plug, plugged in the P-3. I slid the P-3 into the old bracket and inserted the 2 screws. It's installed.

Then I just adjusted the P-3 per the included operating instructions. It could not have been simpler.

Starting from scratch? About an hours work and the instructions are all there. Most newer trucks come with a trailer harness for a controller. My 06 Chev 2500HD did. However there are instructions for installing it without a dealer supplied harness as well.

Highly recommend this unit vs. others if mounted at eye level. (see "Update Aiain).

Update: This is a great unit. BUT, other than an LCD screen to provide additional info for the user, the ability to control the braking action is no better/ no worse than the Prodigy I replaced.

Update again: The LCD screen is impossible to read if the unit is mounted low on the dashboard area and/or if you wearing polarized sun glasses. I switched back to the LED unit which is far easier to see and read.

DOWNGRADED TO 4 Stars!

I am very impressed with this brake controller. I just purchased a 18ft enclosed cargo trailer and needed a controller for my 3/4ton Chevy. I've been hauling trailers for 10 years and never used a proportional braking controller before. I have just finished a trip from Chicago to Cincinnati. Wow, I'm impressed by the smoothness and control i got with this system, especially with a well loaded down trailer behind me. Also very easy to install in the prewired Chevytook no more than 30 minutes.

Coleman Cable 08471 12-Feet Medium-Duty Booster Cable with Non-Polar Glow Clamps, 8-Gauge

Coleman Cable 08471 12-Feet Medium-Duty Booster Cable with Non-Polar Glow Clamps, 8-Gaugevery bare bones but fully functional jumper cables to throw in the trunk of your car. lacks the fancy safety heavy coverings on the grips you will find in much higher priced versions. if you know what you are doing and understand the protocol for safely jump starting a vehicle, don't spend the extra money on a heavier set, this set will serve you just fine.

The Coleman jumper cables are great good quality material. Five stars.

I'm posting this review specifically to remind other potential buyers to review the "Cable Type Selection Guide" (which is featured in one of the product photos). Don't make a dumb mistake like me and buy 8-gauge cables for your full size pickup truck. I am giving these 8-gauge cables to my wife for her sedan and buying Coleman 4-gauge for my vehicle...

For the price of this product, you can't go wrong if you need to jump start your car in a hurry or emergency. My car battery dies often and in the last 3 weeks we've had to jump it 4 times. This does the job. The cable is a little short so you just need to make sure the cars can be relatively close together.

I ordered these for emergency purposes in my 3rd car. The cable is fine, but the clamps on each end are flimsy and I am not sure how well they will clamp to a side terminal battery, if at all. Since my Toyota used top terminals I decided to keep them and hope if I ever need a jump, they will also have top terminals available. Checked Walmart website after buying and they have similarly priced items, so consider looking at brick and mortar before purchasing these "name brand" cables.

New Potato Technologies TuneLink Auto Bluetooth in Car Stereo Wireless Adapter for Android (Black)

New Potato Technologies TuneLink Auto Bluetooth in Car Stereo Wireless Adapter for Android - 1001-01002DThis is a great product and worked out of the box. I tried it with a Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and an Asus Transformer prime. We have Apple and Droid devices in our family, but I found that I could not pair an Apple iTouch with this device. On contacting New Potato support, I was told:

"If you want to use TuneLink for both Android and Apple devices, you need to be using the Apple version of TuneLink. From a hardware standpoint, these 2 are virtually identical, but the Android version is missing some parts that allow it to communicate with Apple devices."

So now I have to return this and buy the other version which is annoying.

Hopefully this will help others choose the correct version.

I have used TuneLink Android with both the AUX out and the FM Transmitter, and I think both sound excellent. The AUX obviously is more clear and the way to go if you have an input in your car, but the FM is great as well. In response to the other reviews on here that talk about a "lisp" sound or distorted "S" sounds, all you have to do if this is happening is turn the phone's volume down a few clicks. The FM volume is a bit boosted when the phone is turned all the way up, and for loud material, I noticed the same thing until I turned it down. The little boost is great though when listening to audiobooks or spoken word that is quiter though...

All in all, great product!

Buy New Potato Technologies TuneLink Auto Bluetooth in Car Stereo Wireless Adapter for Android (Black) Now

I read reviews before purchasing this unit and they indicated this is the best quality FM transmitter to produce almost broadcast quality sound. I did not find that to be the case. I have returned it. I'm also surprised by the written return policy of the vendor. It states a refund will be subject to fees if the product is not returned unopened. How the blazes can you know if it works properly and is worth the money, unless you do open and try it? It was the most expensive unit of the ones I was considering, so I expected it to be at least satisfactory in sound quality, but it wasn't. It produced a static "lisp" type of sound on all high frequency sounds such as a cymbal strike or anything with an "S" sound in a word.

Update. Even though my package was returned and it was obviously opened, since I returned it for reasons of dissatisfaction, I did get a full refund.

I really, really want to like this device. And when it works, it's fantastic. I use the line-out (not the FM transmitter) and the sound quality is great.

But that's only part of the story. I've been through three of these since I bought mine. The first two had a thermal issue that would cause them to stop working, which is a problem considering this thing is going to sit outside in your car. New Potato did replace them, but it cost me about $10 to ship it back every time.

The real problem, though, is that for some reason my Galaxy Nexus and this thing don't play nice. They will connect every time, but eventually the A2DP will break down and the audio won't work. Sometimes it's enough to unplug the Tunelink and plug it back in, sometimes I have to turn Bluetooth off and back on on the phone, and sometimes I have to do both. Then other times I have to unplug the Tunelink and turn the phone off and on. I have no idea who's fault it is, but it basically makes the device useless.

New Potato spent time helping me, but the last email I got from them was "hey, we have no idea. There's another guy with a Galaxy Nexus but he says it's fine". I was hoping the update to Android 4.0.4 would help, but it didn't.

Automatic Bluetooth connecting and Audio Quality...

The first pairing was simple and setup was done in less than 2 minutes. Note: Be sure that when you plug the receiver device in to the power adapter of your truck you make sure you pick one that that cycles the power with the key on/off. Turning the key on and giving it power is what tells it to start looking for the paired phone. In my Nissan this is in the Arm console. When I start the truck it powers the device, the device automatically looks for the phone and connects within 10 seconds all without any user input (VERY NICE!!!). When I turn off the truck it automatically pauses the MP3 playback. With the receiver device being in the arm console I was worried that I might have reception issues or audio quality loss. However being in the console I had no issues with the wireless connection or quality. Audio quality is as good as a direction wire connection. I use the AUX jack on my stereo to connect the receiver to my stereo. As such I did not test the FM transmitter.

Automatic Media Playback...

Using the latest version of their TuneLink app from the Google Playstore Market the app allows you to pick a default MP3 or Music playback program. If you install this app and pick a default music app the phone will still do all of the above Bluetooth connecting automatically, PLUS it will automatically start/resume playback of the last MP3 you were playing, right where you left off. For me this worked perfectly the first time. However after it resumed, my phone displayed an error that the TuneLink app has stopped working. After that crash the auto playback resume feature no longer worked without manual help from me. This could be that the app is not playing nicely with my Samsung Note II. The auto pause when turning the truck off works with or without the app on my phone.

Overview...

This product is exactly what I was looking for: Get in to my truck and have the phone automatically connect to the audio system. I am very pleased with this device and find it worth the few extra bucks you might pay over some similar devices that don't offer the automatic connect feature. NOTE: The above auto connect assumes you have bluetooth turned on, on your phone.

One final note...

This unit is NOT for people looking to create an option for Bluetooth hands-free phone conversations. Unlike some similar devices this product only supports media over Bluetooth. My truck already has a Bluetooth hands-free option for talking on the phone, so that is not something I need. If you already have hands-free in your car this device works perfectly in conjunction with you current hands-free and will even pause the music while you take a call through your cars hands-free system. But if hands-free phone calls is something that you are looking to get from this device, then you need to look for a different product such as the Belkin Bluetooth Truck Hands-Free Kit which offers both Media and Phone calls over Bluetooth but does not support the automatic connection like this device does.

Black & Decker AAW100 8-Inch Auto Wrench Adjusting Wrench

Black & Decker AAW100 8-Inch Auto Wrench Adjusting WrenchFirst tried to use this wrench to remove copper piping from a laundry sink. Wrench simply would not grip the nuts, it does not close tight enough; at least for that application. Only thing it was good for was taking to the tool chest to size the craftsman wrench I needed.

I does work fairly well on most nuts, but still can not compete with a quality wrench set. I am going to put it in the emergency kit in my truck. I guess if space really is an issue, it is a good buy.

I bought this wrench because it looks so innovative. When I had it in my hands, I realized that my assumption was wrong. The reasons are:

1. The switch is at an awkward location. My thumb is not there when I grab the wrench.

2. The power of the motor is too weak. So there is no feeling that the jaw is tightened.

3. The shape of the handle is far from ergonomic. It usally slips out from hand.

4. Overall size is too bulky. So it is not agile enough.

One day, there must be an occasion when this wrench can be helpful (I hope), so I just keep it.

Buy Black & Decker AAW100 8-Inch Auto Wrench Adjusting Wrench Now

This is the best new tool to come along in twenty years. What a great idea and excellent implementation of it. This is the coolest crescent wrench I have ever seen. It makes it so easy to work on projects where you have different size nuts to tighten and especially when working where space is limited. The electric adjustment on the wrench is amazingly quick. I mean you hit the switch and it's snug up against the nut ready for you to start turning. This wrench is not fragile either. It can apply as much torque as a regular crescent wrench. It is amazing that it is not that much bigger than a regular wrench. It will fit in all thoses tight nooks and crannies where sometimes you need to get a wrench into. Amazon doesn't have any in stock yet so I found mine at Lowes Hardware. The Thornton Colorado store sold their whole display in one day. I drove up to the Longmont Lowes to get one and it was well worth it. GREAT TOOL!

This is the second "Auto" tool that I got from B&D that just sucks. It just doesn't tighten enough to be of any use. I can understand the safety issues of why it won't close too tight in case it is used on something like a finger, but in order to tighten a nut and bolt, you need something to tighten on that, and this just doesn't.

Want Black & Decker AAW100 8-Inch Auto Wrench Adjusting Wrench Discount?

This wrench has internal parts of poor quality. The mechanicsm is driven off a small rubber belt. Mine worked approximately 3 weeks. Then, when the button to move the jaw was used, the motor would run but no jaw movement. I removed the screws from the plastic casing to find the belt had broke in two pieces. It appeared to be dry-rotted. It is a cheep internal part that, when breaks, renders the entire tool no more valuable than the $5 crescent wrench from Walmart. Don't waste your money.

Sound is really good (its actually louder then we expected) and its just what we wanted. Some people wrote that the speakers were "ok" but I think they are just fine. No complaints and we have enjoyed it so much. Would recommend!

This radio works great in my pontoon! I was expecting a $100 radio and what I got was something much more! I am very impressed with how well this radio works. It sounds great as I added the 2 speakers to my existing speakers so now there are 4 hooked up! Plenty of power and range! Would definitely buy again for different boat! Very happy for the the money spent and I am an Audiophile. My cars are all JL Audio and Eclipse and Alpine decks and I just didn't want to spend that money on a boat that is used 25 times a year.

This deck never worked right from the get go. The CD player would not load CD's. Trying to load any disc resulted in just a clicking sound from inside the deck. This is funny because the reason I bought the deck was to replace another Dual Marine Stereo that wouldn't load CD's either.

Also, the USB functionality does not work right. It read and started playing a USB flash drive that I inserted, but stopped after about three songs. It then started scanning through all the folders (but not playing anything). After a minute or so of this scanning, it just plain refused to read from the USB drive at all. I tried 4 other flash drives with the same result.

So, this one is going back and I'm going to look for something from a more reputable manufacturer.

First off the speakers said they were rated at 50 watts. When I got them I noticed stamped on the back of the speaker was 20w. Sure enough after I hooked them up they sounded tiny and distorted quickly. I do not see how this is a marine grade radio either. All they did was wrap it in black tape which you end up popping a hole in when you take it out of the sleeve with the puller tool. The is not a power constant so I lose all my settings every time I turn it off. Not to mention every time I turn it on it ejects the CD. Falsely advertised because it is CHEAP. You might as well by cheap speakers and stereo that are not marine grade and they will be of better quality than this and will probably be more durable.

Optima 8025-160-FFP RedTop Group 25 Starting Battery

Optima Batteries 8025-160 25 RedTop Starting BatteryThe battery died on my Scion tC and I went straight to Amazon to find a new one. I have had an optima Red-Top in my Prelude for about 6 years now and it still runs strong (Worth it for just the winter starts alone), so I naturally went for the same battery this time. As far as the battery is concerned:

......Works great right out of the box

......Battery was charged enough from the factory to get the car started right out of the box.

......Size and weight are very close to the OEM tC battery, It fit right in place with no mods. (Also, I do agree with the previous poster who said the terminal protector case would serve great as a booster to pick the battery up an inch or two. It's just a square piece of plastic)

As far as the shipping and packing by Amazon is concerned:

......First, I'll admit, I was concerned about the shipping based on what I read in the other reviews, but I know Amazon is on top of most problems pretty quickly and I was hoping they had addressed the packing issue by now. So I went ahead and ordered.

......Well, as soon as I opened it up, It was obvious they fixed the packing problem. It was packed VERY well. You can see in the pictures that the used chunks of cardboard pieces sandwiched between an inner and outer layer on all four sides. No cheap popcorn or anything.

......The battery arrived with no dents or scratches

......Never doubt Amazon, my son.

All and all....a great buy!

I have owned several Optima Red and Yellow top batteries, and these are about as good as it gets. To get any better, you'd have to spend twice as much money.

This was my first Optima battery purchase from Amazon. Order processing and shipping was first rate (as usual). The 'doorstep' price (with free super saver shipping) was better than any I found online or at a local retailerand I spent a lot of time researching my purchase beforehand.

Changing a car battery usually only takes a few minutes and a few wrenches or sockets, and I'm sure that as long as you choose the right size battery for your car it will work well. The application guide on the item page accurately included my vehicle.

I have to say that I had a little problem with my shipment arriving damaged, but Amazon stepped right up to the plate and hit a home run with their first-rate customer service. I was initially hesitant to purchase this because of the 'no returns on hazardous stuff' disclaimer, but rest assured that Amazon stands behind its products. And after my experience, I would strongly recommend Amazon for a car battery purchase.

I didn't realize what a straightforward way this was to get a battery for my Jeep Liberty. I was looking for a replacement for the original 5 year old battery and was pleased to find at the Optima Batteries web site they had one that fit my 2002 Jeep Liberty. I quickly found the battery on Amazon.com at a great price. The battery went right in my Jeep with a simple socket wrench. My local recycling guide pointed to somewhere to take the old one. The extra starting power is great.

Below is a copy of the email I got from Optima regarding a battery purchased from Amazon.

So be aware the the money you are thinking you are saving maybe costing you big time. You should also know that for marine batteries Otima is strongly reccomending the use of there $200 charger to keep them charged properly.

Hello John,

Amazon.com is not an authorize online OPTIMA retailer, We do not know where they acquire the OPTIMA batteries nor does Amazon.com honor the OPTIMA warranty.

Bought one for my 04 GTO, it lasted about a year and then died, sits on the charger and won't go above 10.5 volts. I expected better.

I purchased the chargers so I could have my phone readily available. I seen these and thought wow for this price I cant go wrong.

I was way way wrong! Not only did both chargers flake out after less than 2 weeks of use, but the car charger almost caused a fire in my car! I dont know if the random weirdness my phone now has about it was cause from the charger shorting out, but I can tell you that these products are dangerous and should be avoided!

The charger got so hot that it was almost to hot to pull out of the outlet, and caused my truck to smell of burnt plastic and electronics for nearly a week!

It was on the brink of catching on fire!

Please stay away and spend a little extra money on a name brand. I did after this happened and have not had an issue since. So to me that ruled out my vehicle outlet as the culprit.

And please please dont buy this for your teenagers cause Lord only knows what would have happened if this had happened to them.

These do not work for IPod or Ipod touch even though the description indicates that they do. Don't waste your money.

This is a great charger that is quite versitle in terms of devices that can plug into it. First I should warn you that you should check your device and make sure it is rated for the appropriate output voltage and amperage. However, after doing so I found that in addition to my Archos 5 internet tablet, I could also charge my Garmin 720 NUVI, 2 different cell phones, and 2 different bluetooth headsets with the appropriate USB cable (USB micro or mini). I highly recommend this as a replacement for any lost chargers for many USB mini/micro compatible devices.

Seems to be a good product and only problem there might be is it seems like cheaply made but so far so good. I would recommend it for the price.

Works great. Great quality at a great price. Multiple uses for charging any usb charge capable device. Using for phones, games, Wii chargers.

PowerLine 600mA Universal AC Adapter with Compatibility Tips 90303

PowerLine 600mA Universal AC Adapter with Compatibility Tips 90303I purchased two of these adapters to provide continuous power to the two Petmate Le Bistro Portion-Control Automatic Pet Feeders that I recently purchased from Amazon. The 600 ma (milli-amps)of current is sufficient to run many small devices, and the 7 different tips will adapt to many products (just make sure to insert the tip to get the proper polarity, or you may blow out the device you're powering, or at least blow a fuse). The ability to change voltage settings makes this product very versatile, as you can choose from 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9,and 12 volts, DC (VDC). In my case, I needed 4.5 VDC at 600 ma to run the pet feeders, because the product vendor does not list the adapter on their website, yet their manual directs you to the website to buy one. A quick search of Amazon brought me to this product. Amazon's excellent customer service, and fast, free shipping served me well once again!

1-6-12 Update: Both adapters are still doing their job with the Petmate feeders after about 9-months of twice-daily use.

Went to Radio Shack to look for a universal adapter for my daughter's little BeBop CD player. They were charging like $30 just for the adapter and then you had to buy the tip separately. Wasn't sure how much that was but probably another $10. Searched here and bought based on reviews. This works great. Voltage selection is a great feature and the multiple tips are great. There is no noticeable heat coming from the unit. Finding the right polarity is important but not complicated at all if you know how to read. You match the symbols on your device with what is in the instructions and you are good to go.

Great price, arrived quickly, and is working perfectly. Another great Amazon purchase for me.

Selectable voltage outputs of 12V 9V 7.5V 6.0V 4.5V 3.0V NO 5.0V

NOTE:

600 MILLIAMPS OF CURRENT IS PROBABLY NOT AVAILABLE AT ALL VOLTAGE SETTINGS. It's most likely available only at the lowest voltage setting and decreases to a maximum of about 150 mA at 12 volts.

NOTE:

There is no 5.0 volt selection available that's very common to all powered USB hubs and other PC related electronic devices.

Just a heads up to those who might be looking for an additional ac adaptor for Motorola Digital Video Baby Monitor with 3.5 Inch Color LCD Screen

The plug on the Motorola Digital Video Baby Monitor is very small. Therefore I was concerned this ac adapter might not have a tip that fit the Baby monitor.

The adapter arrived today and I am pleased to say that there is one plug small enough to use on the Motorola Baby Monitor listed above.

Hooked it up and all seems to be working fine atm.
