This car charger failed to work at all. It was the correct device for my phone and in a brand new car with three different power source outlets, none of them fit this charger such that all the contacts were made...I guess the 99cent price should have been a give away... 1 star is one too many!

I rated this inverter 5 stars because it charged what I wanted, and when I checked the ac output with a Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor 120 to 121 volts displayed. Also 63.2 Hz to 63.3 Hz displayed when I check the frequency. I only connected items that consumed less than 100 watts. The inverter was tested with two different computers and a cell phone. I charged a 90 watt computer by itself on my 100 watt inverter. Then I unplugged the 90 watt computer. Then I plugged in and charged the 85 watt computer at the same time with my cell phone. Because all of my items charged, I recommend this product. Also the inverter I received looked a bit different. The inverter that arrived does not have the socket size adjuster. (The little switch that is on the part that goes into the cigarette lighter.) This is good because I didn't need it. My inverter fit in both of my cigarette lighter sockets perfectly! Also you can look at the CyberPower web site and see that this inverter has a 150 degree swivel head. I hear the fan in the inverter, but the sound is so low, I do not mind it at all. Also I only used this inverter while the vehicle is turned on and running. This inverter works great for me!

Bought this at Wal*mart a few months back and at first it worked pretty well. Then it began cutting off and then back on again over and over which caused the computer to lose more charge than it was getting. The only way around this was to leave the car running the whole time it was in use.

A couple days ago it started making an awful noise when plugged in. The noise was more of an annoyance than anything until a burning smell came from it and smoke came out of the side air vents!

For the nearly $40 it cost to buy it I would say it is definitely NOT worth it (and it was a big mistake to throw the package and receipt out) since it lasted only about 3 months!

Edit: Just wanted to add that it also began blowing the fuse to the 12v accessory socket...

I didn't keep it long enough to rate it durability or reliability for a car trip. Which was the intention. I need a simple little inverter for my 15 watts of DVD playing power needs and a little for my cell phone. Well it was working fine for the short time I used it. But within a minute the fan kicked on and it was the loudest fan I have heard in an inverter. So I returned it right away.

Sad too as I love my CyberPower UPS systems for my computers at home. So I was looking forward to trying an inverter under their brand labeling. Even though they likely didn't design the internals.

Other than the loud fan, for the short time I did have it, I liked the firm swivel joint as it held it's position great. No annoying lights. But at the same time a dimly lit LED would have been nice to know it is getting power and working. But the fan makes that painfully obvious.

I also could not find details on the packaging or unit about the amperage of the USB port. It did power and charge my Galaxy S3, but not sure how fast. So not sure it's enough for a 2W + tablet, etc.

Sadly I just couldn't accept the volume of the fan and returned it. 1 star = "I hate it" on the Amazon scale, and the ultra loud fan made me "hate it".

I'm not to sure if this, is, the inverters fault or my car's but I will assume it is the inverter. First use it ran hot and got loud. After maybe 40 secs it tripped the cig lighter circuit and turned off.

Works as advertised! Adequately packaged and received quickly. I hooked up on my Honda NSS250 MaxiScooter to power a Garmin GPS unit. The wires could have been a little longer to reach from my dash back to the battery compartment. I had to make a run to the hardware store and spend about $3.00 for the extra lengths that were required and hooked them together with electrical crimp connectors, another $3.00 for the package. I drilled a hole in the dash board and the power plug press fitted into the plastic. The cap is not spring loaded, but does have a secure fastener to hold it in place. it is a suitable power supply plug.

I bought this to add an extra switched outlet to my car. The product is quite small and was easy to wire into the fuse panel in my car. Once done, I was able to run my portable GPS through this outlet (now hidden nicely under the floorboard of my passenger footwell) and the GPS now powers on and off with the vehicle ignition.

This is no-frills, but construction seems solid. My only complaint is that it doesn't include any documentation to tell you which cord is positive and which is ground. I figured that out with a 5 second search on the Internet :).

Given the low price this sells for, I wasn't expecting much, but then again, I didn't need much.

I have a second, dual battery on my pickup that is isolated when the ignition is off, and I run several things off of it, and just wanted a cheap and easy way to keep any eye on the voltage, and this gets that job done.

The construction feels cheap. In fact, the little screw part on the end you put in the socket, that you would normally unscrew to change the fuse, is made of plastic even (except for the electrically conducting tip). Don't recall ever seeing any type of thing you insert into this type of socket not being metal for that part. So with that in mind, I wouldn't expect it would stand up to a whole lot of taking it out and putting it back in repeatedly. If you're going to stick it in and leave it, it will probably be ok.

The LED display is red, and I was worried it might be too bright, given the socket I was putting it in is on top of the dash, I was concerned it might be distracting at night. I was pleased to find this was not the case. It's just bright enough, and not too bright.

As I said, it's cheap to purchase, it's cheaply built, but it gets the job done if you're just going to stick it in and leave it. With that in mind, I'm pretty happy with the purchase. I might even have went 5 stars instead of 4 if that aforementioned part had been metal instead of plastic, which is the weak point on this item, in my opinion. If you want a cheap gauge to keep an eye on the voltage, go for this, you likely won't find better at this price point.

Works great, however, digital display was red and not blue on the one I received unlike the one shown in the picture. Would have given 5 stars otherwise. I was looking for it to be blue as described so it would match my cars indicator and dash lights. Luckily there are some red lights in my car as well as such was still able to use it. If your lucky enough like me to have a car which has the cigaret lighter outlet in a convenient place for a digital gauge you can plug in and forget about it and will always know and monitor your voltage every time you in your car. Nice surprise as this device is intended to test as needed rather than staying in place as I have done. Saves from having to run a voltage meter with another kind of gauge if that's what your going for like me.

I was disappointed with the mat, i thought it would be longer. The piece only covers the hump in your truck and you need to buy the sides from Husky Liner for it to cover the whole carpet area. I think the mats are way overpriced. I kept the same mats that came with my truck and the hump mat does have gaps on both sides but at least it does cover more of the carpet area than if i had purchased a cheaper hump mat.

I was thinking this was a over the hump floor mat that included the actual driver and passenger mats too. From the picture and description that is what I thought. Really disappointed with the product I got for the price. Would not recommend this to anyone. Find better deals elsewhere.

I bought this for a Christmas present and soldered it together myself. It doesn't do a whole lot of voices (5 pitches with the choice for vibrato or not), but the cool part is that it works.

The kit goes together quite quickly and the instructions were detailed and almost foolproof. I have average soldering skills and had no problem soldering whatsoever, since it worked the first time I applied power. When soldering inspect the soldering joints frequently to ward off those mistakes. The sound was loud and robust, however, I had to use a long speaker wire (no less than 18 inches) when attaching a speaker, because if the speaker is too close to the on-board microphone the screech and howl from feedback is unbearable. I also recommend not using an extremely cheap speaker, although those tiny speakers will work, the effect is not quite as dramatic with just a bit better speaker. I picked up a cool mini speaker at the thrift store for one buck. Just whispering into the microphone produced a loud strong output, although I had to hold the mic close to my mouth when speaking. The vibrato effect was fairly decent, but the high and especially the low pitch button setting produced very nice sound effects, and the robot voice option was really nice. It sounded like one of the Dahleks on the Dr. Who TV show. I kept playing with this device for quite some time, very enjoyable. I am currently installing this kit into an enclosure.

It was a good learning experience. This little device does not have a speaker so I salvaged one from an old radio. Later I learned the necessity of mounting and protecting such a board when I broke it. The sound quality was minimum and something that a person would build on a breadboard for dis-assembly after proving to themselves they could make it. Make sure you look up soldering techniques. Cold solder joints look soldered when they are not. Youtube is your friend.

The construction of this board is the only 'educational' value it offers. The parts are durable enough for casual work, assuming you have some basic soldering skills. A novice to such work can easily overheat and ruin some of the parts, so be careful. The unit itself seems sturdy, with strong connection and switches. The output is garbage! I bought these for my wife's 2002 Ford Crewcab and they fit very well and for the money I think they are great.

The mats are well made, durable and tough. I was a little disappointed with the fit. There floor mats are not a perfect fit for a F150. On the passenger's side, there was a small raised area on the floor mat because it did not fit exactly in the space. Most probably would not notice, but it I was always pushing the mat down into contact with the floor board.

Thor Rechargeable Spotlight

This is a very powerful light. In fact, the video I have uploaded really does not do the spotlight justice to just how bright this thing is! You may wonder why you would have a need for such a bright light, but it really can come in handy. I have it in case our dog gets lost at night, or if we think there is a potential threat (aka potential intruder) in our yard. However, the light is also a great choice for camping or possibly marine applications.

Other spotlights have two settings Ultra-bright and one that is less intense that is handy for saving the battery.

Need to keep an eye on how long it charges charging for over 24 hours can ruin the battery.

Like all powerful Halogen lights it generates heat. Be careful leaving the light on an unattended.

This halogen spotlight is just what the doctor ordered, and at a great price. My older spotlight died after 8 years, and I did the research on Amazon to find this one; super power, great price.

And let me tell you; it does not disappoint.....with 6.5 M candlepower, it lights up my woods and stream (in the dead of night) like it was daytime!!!

The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have an led to let you know when the thing is fully recharged....you just have to wing it yourself. Which is not all that terrible....I plug it in to recharge about 10pm and then disconnect it at 6am the next day. So far this has worked just fine.

This is a reasonably bright spotlight with a nice, focused beam that concentrates the light well at great distances. We bought it a year ago, and it worked fine from last fall through this spring. We rarely use it during the summer months as the long hours of daylight up here in Michigan's UP make it unnecessary. However, it was used once in a while and was regularly recharged.

Started using it daily again over the last two weeks and it just died. Bulb is fine, contacts all fine. Apparently, the battery is kaput. It should last longer than a year.

Although this is a bright light, it has several drawbacks:

* You must remember not to leave it on the charger longer than specified (or risk ruining the battery -a really dumb design).

* There is no charging indicator light -another dumb design (or lack of design).

* It's damn big and heavy.

I think I'm going to give up on rechargeable high-power spotlights. We've owned a half dozen of them, all different manufacturers, and none have lasted. I think I'd rather use one that requires regular battery changes. I've got a six-cell MagLite that's not as bright but, when I pick it up, I KNOW it's going to work.

I bought the Cyclops CYC-S6X to replace a similar unit whose battery had worn out. It works great and is even brighter than the old one. It is so bright that I can identify animals in the tops of trees almost a 1/4 mile away. The batter life is pretty good and the positioners are designed and work well.

Long ago I purchased a similar spotlight rated at 500,000 (1/2 million) candlepower. This one is rated at 2.5 million candlepower by the manufacturer, but is nowhere near as bright as the old unit. I guess the definition of a candlepower has changed (grin).

This unit has an on/off switch. I also preferred the old unit's trigger switch, which allowed easy momentary use. The trigger could also be locked for continuous use. With this one, momentary use is really not possible.

The unit I received does not look like the picture. The one I received has one moveable support on the bottom, which can be placed in four positions to allow various upwards angles when the light is placed on the ground. It also has a "pistol" grip which swings up from the carry handle. This is supposed to allow you to use "pinpoint aiming" when holding the unit upside-down with the grip. Big deal. Leave out the grip and add more candlepower, please.

I did not give it only one star because it does work.
