I installed this product this weekend in our 2008 Honda Pilot. I don't consider myself very mechanically gifted, but I was able to install the device successfully without any problems. It took about 30 minutes worth of research online to learn how to remove the radio, and 60 minutes to actually remove the radio, install everything, and put it back without scratching up the dash. The sound is terrific and I appreciate the ability to charge my iPhone with it and also like how the song names show up on the radio. It seems like a durable piece of equipment that will last.

I bought this item a year ago for my 2007 EX-L non navigation Honda Accord with XM Radio. I specifically selected this item because of the capabilities of the track info being displayed on the Accord's head unit. It works as advertised. Let me get more into why I gave this product 5 stars. i initially planned on installing the usa spec by myself after watching a few youtube videos. I was able to remove the panels, install all the necessary cables, drill a hole in my cubby, hook up my 3rd generation Itouch and it worked flawlessly. Where I got into a little bit of trouble was securing the adapter somewhere out of the way; I was never able to install back the cubby because I couldn't hide away the cables enough or the adapter. Luckily, living in LA i have plenty of indoor swap meets to choose and each one has at least one car stereo store in it. I called the nearest swap meet and asked how much for installation and I was quoted $35 dollars. I went back to my car and removed the usa spec and put all the panels back easily without the adapter and cables. I arrived at the swap meet, gave the guy the usa spec and the installation instructions downloaded from the usa spec website and he went to work. After installing the adapter he called me over to test it, he hooked up his iphone 4 and he was impressed with the sound quality and that it was a better product than anything he had in stock. At this point he begins to hide away the cables and secured the adapter and under ten minutes all the panels were back in place.

I am using a 3rd generation itouch with the usa spec and my favorite apps to use are Spotify (with premium subscription to be able to download songs directly to the itouch) and audible (for listening to books). I used the usa spec in direct mode with both apps since the spec usa is designed for the itunes app, otherwise, it will be in locked mode playing only the music in the itunes library. The only annoying thing is that every time the itouch is connected to the adapter it starts playing the first song in the itunes library. With both the Spotify and Audible app I was surprised to see the track/book info on the stereo display which was a bonus treat. I was curious to see how the Pandora, iheart radio and slacker apps will work with the usa spec, I connected my itouch within range of my wi-fi and the track info was displayed on the radio screen. Again, I was curious and grabbed my wife's iphone 4s and none of the apps, except for audible, displayed the info on the radio. Then again my wife has not upgraded any of her apps on her phone so that could be the cause for not displaying the info. Now, I am curious to see if the iphone 5 or the itouch 5th generation with the required adapter will be compatible with the usa spec. I hope I could help someone with their purchasing decision and best of luck.

This adapter was very easy to connect. The provided wiring gave no issues. The most challenging part was finding a place behind the dash for the box. Works great!!

A good mirror that works great, but I wish it had a flip up/down cover on it. Because when you are driving and have your visor down, the reflection of yourself is a little distracting. But I guess I am getting used to it.

The build quality really does stink on this. You need to pry it open with a screwdriver to change batteries, exposing the innards, and for some reason, the light dims after about 2 seconds of being on. Save your money and get something good, everyone. This isn't it.

Very cheap and flimsy all around. I feel like if I touch it, it will fall apart/break. The mirror came detached from the glue that was holding it when my car got hot. Also only one side of the light works and it tends to not stay closed and the batteries fall out.

I also agree that I wish it had a flip cover of some kind. Driving with the visor down but then having a mirror in your face is not ideal.

Wish I would've kept the packaging and everything so I could return it :(

The mirror is small but good enough for my fiance to refresh her lips when necessary. The lights are turned on by a small black switch that is a little loose but its just a mirror after all. Its fine for the price and you can switch it from one side to another depending on who needs it. Or you can just buy two. lol.

I have used or been familiar with Tripp-Lite products for many years, from revolving emergency lights to surge-suppressing power strips to this fine product and others. I have never once been disappointed. I have not yet exercised it to its maximum capacity but would recommend it for anyone.

P.S. I saw a post somewhere in which a gentleman referred to the output voltage being low. As a point of information, the voltage reading will not always indicate like typical line voltage because of the pseudo-sine wave output and depending on the meter that is used (digital dual-slope integration vs analog vs cheap vs technical level of experience) to acquire the reading.

To be fair, I am not an electrician. I am a programmer. But after studying different small-scale solar installations, I decided to go with this inverter because it came recommended by Mother Earth News.

After hooking everything up per instructions, I can successfully turn the lights on, then the radio, then a battery charger for my cordless drill.

But, if I try to start my radio, then turn the lights on, the on-board breaker pops on this inverter. It is really getting annoying.

I am also only getting 89VAC out and no load. It's like this thing can't handle any kind of load.

I'm sending this back.

However, when I opened my package, I noticed that not only was my hula girl wearing a yellow dress, not a green one, the dress was made of string and not any straw type substance. The hula girl looks nothing at all like the picture, even the base is different. The hand positions are flat and unnatural. Overall, the hula girl I got in the mail from this company did not resemble what I was led to believe I had ordered.

Came ahead of projected time. The skirt (yes they were made of strings and not the straw materials)immediately fell apart. I got some super glue and put it back but now the sticker on the base doesn't stick well. I decided not to bother returning it because it seems more like a hassle instead. She now sits in front of his monitor doing nothing.

i have used this product for about 8 months now. it is used to charge 6 and 12v batteries on multiple child electric cars. fully automatic switching between 6 and 12v. all that you have to do is hook up the alligator clips and plug it in. the very easy to read indicator lights on the front panel indicate whether or not you have a good connection. they also indicate with color change from yellow to green when you reach a full charge. i use this every time to charge the small cars, i threw away the cheap chargers that came with the cars. this is so much more dependable.

to the people that have problems, are you trying to charge batteries that this product is not intended for? the manual that comes with this charger tells you what batteries (volt and amps) that you should use it for. if used as intended, this is a great charger.

Received this charger / maintainer to hook up to my ATV battery and immediately began using it. Have owned it for over 2 weeks now and it has run flawlessly, the automatic switch over works perfectly, the included quick connect wiring makes this thing super simple to hook up to your most often charged / maintained piece of equipment and the fact that it is so small makes it super easy to store when not in use. I've had several of these over the years lost some, loaned some (and never got them back) but mostly, when I tended to need them, they were at home in the big tool box.

Now I bought three one for each car's toolbox. Should I have a problem, or someone I'm parked near has a problem, I have the tool I need.

Although they said they would work for my Toyota Sienna, they don't quite line up perfectly. With that said, I still like them better than the normal floor inserts that come with the van. I have DDD and this product gives me the fastest pain relief of any mechanical device I've tried. I like the fact that it DOES NOT contain a self timing shut-off device as many do. The only thing: I wish there was a way of shutting it off without unplugging the transformer... when left plugged into the wall, the transformer gets very hot... even when not in use. This can be overcome with a short extension cord with a switch built in or a switched wall socket.

I bought this cushion after reading favorable reviews on it, for my husband who had recently herniated a couple of lumbar disks. We were facing a long road trip home to see family and I was thinking I'd end up doing all of the driving. Not so! The heated cushion was just the thing to keep hubby happy and pain free for up to 6 hours of driving at a stretch. We were both happy with that outcome. He didn't really use the massage (really vibrate) function much. The heating element and shape of the cushion worked very well on his back. Because it pushes your lower back forward, you will have to put a towel or cushion behind your upper back to keep proper alignment when you use it.

I bought this for my husband, who has been experiencing back pain while driving for extended periods. He then used it on a 750-mile drive. It worked very well, and he especially liked the heat option. Unlike other cushions we tried, this one did NOT push him too far forward on the seat. I compared several similar products while shopping for a back supporting cushion, and I believe that this one is by far the best value for the money. The only problem was that the elastic strap (provided for stability) was too short to go around the front seat and broke.

Ballistic Performance claims that these batteries have a capacity of 28 amp-hours, but the actual capacity is about a third of that. Based on the claims of the manufacturer, I foolishly purchased two of these batteries expecting to get at least 25 amp-hours out of each of them. After a good break-in period of 8 partial discharge / full recharge cycles (using the Ballistic Performance balance charger), the capacity of both batteries is around 9.5 amp-hours. This was measured with a Watts-Up meter during discharge, and the balance charger confirmed the results at the end of the charge. After 9.5 amp-hours of discharge (at 3.5 amps) the voltage was 10.3V and dropping fast, which indicates that they were, indeed, at the end of their capacity.

My battery died on my bagger and the dealer wanted $185 plus tax for a replacement. I decided to take a chance and try something new so I ordered this Lithium Ferrous Phosphate battery from Amazon (Mueller Motorsports). It arrived in 5 days and when I picked up the box I thought it was empty!! It only weighs 3 lbs! I was worried that it would be bouncing around in my battery tray since it is so much smaller and lighter so I cut up an old mousepad made of neoprene and lined the bottom of the battery tray with that. Then I used the packing foam that came with the battery to secure it in place and hold it from vibrating. So far I have 800 miles on it and it works good, but it takes a little while to get it to wake up in the morning, kind of like my wife ;)

All in all I think it is a good investment and the weight savings alone is really awesome. So far so good!!

I used this to replace the typical lawn tractor battery that was in out vintage race car. The cranking power was not enough to get the high compression, big bore race motor to turn over when hot. This lithium batter not only kicks the motor over just fine but saved 16 pounds in weight.

The only thing to be careful of is vibration can cause the battery to dump it's charge very quickly. Apparently all the wires and coils inside are not "potted" for vibration isolation. Seems a mystery to me that the "power sports" applications it is designed for don't vibrate enough to be a problem but a big bore 4 cylinder motor was. The cure was to put it in a bracket that is mounted on rubber mounts. Haven't had any problems since we went to that on our two cars.

Of interest is the manual (such as it is) warning that if the battery went down below something like 8 volts the battery was not usable. Talking with a tech at Ballistic he said to put it on a 6 amp or higher charge for about 15 minutes. If it gained in voltage then finish charging in the normal way. Sure enough, it came back and we have been using it ever since.

These seemed like a good set of ring terminals. But after getting them, they were too big and bulky. I ended up using copper lugs that I could solder wire into and even grind the rings down a little for a better fit. The craftmanship and machining of these is what caught my eye. However, the practical use for them was not very much, at least for my stereo setup. They're stuffed away in my misc. parts drawer with all my other connectors. I'll probably never use them.

The picture is pretty self-explanatory. Small unit that would fit in a larger pocket. However, the tips on the testing wires are very sharp, so you have to be careful how you handle it so you don't inadvertently poke yourself (esp. be careful to keep this away from kids). Tested the electrical sockets in my house just fine. Tested my batteries fine. It's a real handy device. If you're going to test a lot of sockets, then you should consider a three prong tester since it's much faster to pop in and out of sockets. With outside sockets that get beaten up and junk inside the holes, this tester is easier to make contact.

This meter is simple to use, reasonably well constructed, and a great value for basic electrical circuit and battery testing. The analog dial is easy to read, with a mirrored arc for precision.

The meter itself was well designed. I especially liked the battery testing feature. But then I read the label attached to the test leads.It says in effect that the test leads contain lead and you should wash your hands after using the tester! This is insane! I wouldn't have this meter anywhere in reach of children or pets, or myself for that matter. I promptly threw it away.

The charger works fine, used it to power my laptop on a road trip I plan on using it for future trips. The power inverter isn't that loud so that is a plus.

It worked Okay for almost one year. Provided enough power to run a typical laptop as long as the car was running. If the car was only in accessories mode then it would cycle to generate power which caused terrible fluctuations!

works fine for my Tomtom. However, the actual part that plugs into the cigarette lighter could be more tight. It is a little wiggly and the GPS shifts in sharp turns. Also, would be nice if the arm that holds the GPS would be longer or extendable. Unfortunately it is so short, that it interferes with the shift stick. When putting the car from D to P I need to move the GPS a bit because its in the way. Other than that I prefer it to the suction cup holder on the window.
