I have purchased over a dozen of these players to use myself and give away. When they work, they are great transmitter/sd card players. Once you figure out the controls, they are easy to use and do a great job, and they come with a random play mode. Their downside is that some do not work out of the box. But for the price, I order some spares. You can also get a 120 volt ac to 12 volt female cigarette lighter addapter and use them in the house, giving you a cheap SD card player for your home stero. I have also set them up to use with my old boom box radios outside in the yard. With these, I can play any music I want on any old FM receiver.

This product did not work at all. I am very dissatisfied and would like a refund. I ended up going to Wal-mart to purchase another one that actually works. Do not buy this!!

It works as per the description. I like this product and recommend to a friend. I had a different fm transmitter before that require tuning and synchronization with the car's fm every time I started the car. I think this one has an internal memory, that can remember the fm band and also the last songs played.

I bought several of this kind of FM transmitter. The workmanship of most is pretty bad, but the quality of sound that you get is great. This particular model though prettier to look at has less quality for sound reproduction.

I have an older model car complete with cassette player!! I needed something to play my digital music without the cost of replacing my car stereo. I absolutely love this transmitter! I purchased this new Terra 45 Winch from Amazon for an unbeleivable $211.99 and it has far exceeded my expectations. I am using it as a utility winch on my car trailer to haul Jeeps and other vehicles. The motor sounds great, and the construction is much more rugged than the entry level Chinese winches (which this is replacing). It has plenty of power and the release mechanism is easy to operate.

I am also using this winch at the front of a car hauler to pull disabled vehicles onto the trailer. It was either a Chinese 10K pound winch or this one. From the research I did, this will pull the same and last longer, so it was an easy choice. It is very well built compared to the Warn I had on my ATV, the motor sounds great the gears are pretty quiet and the kit comes very complete. The only thing I needed to purchase was a snatch block which effectively doubles the weight it can pull. More importantly I feel that taking the extra few minutes to use a snatch block will increase the life of the winch dramatically as it doesn't have to work as hard. Having the remote is very handy when loading a car and the handlebar switch works well mounted to the winch. I am using it with a 2" hitch winch mount and a custom receiver at the front of the trailer so I don't have to leave it out in the weather and also so I can use it on my truck and ATV's. A very versatile tool for all sorts of uses.

I bought this winch for my car and equipment trailer and find this product to exceed expectations in every way.

Top quality components with all wiring and instructions included. I mounted the winch inside my trailer mounted tool box

to keep it out of the weather and out of sight. I mounted the roller fair lead on the wall of the tool box facing the trailer deck

and use the UTV handlebar control switch to operate the winch when I am standing alongside the tool box. I lengthened the wired remote

control harness to reach behind my trailer so I can steer the vehicle I am loading .

I am very pleased with my choice and would by another or recomend one without reservation.

As soon as I recieved this by UPS I put it to work pulling

down a large ash tree. It had plenty of power to pull the tree

in the direction I wanted & to also pull the limbs from the

trees that it fell onto. It took a while to wire it as it is

designed mainly for mounting to a vehicle. But I built a box

out of a plastic tool box to hold all the wiring components

so now I can just take that, a 12 volt battery and the winch

anywhere it is needed in the woods. I did use the hitch mount

to do the job and that worked ok but I will build a custom

bracket to fasten to trees to keep the winch upright. I like

the ease that you can spool out the cable by turning the large

knob on the side. Everything is color coded with a diagram so

its not that big a deal to wire up.

I purchased this along with the Komodo portable winch mount from Amazon.com.

So far, I've used the winch on the mounting plate attached to the hitch receiver on my pick-up truck to pull up small trees. I don't know exactly how powerful the winch is but, attached to one larger tree, it pulled my GMC Canyon pick-up with the parking brakes applied without sounding strained.

Since I'm not using this on an ATV/UTV I had to do some modifications to the wiring. I attached the small red wires together that would normally go to the ignition and simply attached them to the positive pole of the battery along with the battery positive battery cable. I have a 700 amp car battery and a deep cycle marine battery that I use with the winch.

The Komodo portable winch mount required some modifications for the Terra 4500. It has eyes welded on for winches with a narrower fairlead than the 4500 has. I cut these completely off including the welds with a grinder and cut out a slot where the mount has a front lip so the fairlead could be mounted flush on the base. Unfortunately, I cut the slot in the centerline and couldn't use the cage on the mount. If the slot in the front lip is cut approximately 1/2 to 1 inch to the right of the centerline of the mounting plate (looking at the plate from the hitch side), the cage for the mount should fit.

To summarize, this is a powerful little winch,has met all my expectations and, along with the Komodo portable mount and some high amp batteries, is extremely versatile.

i have had this inverter for almost three months now. it has worked very well. i can run my 6,000 BTU air conditioner off of it with no problem but it wont start my 10,000 it tries but it doesn't quite have enough power but maybe that's cause i am running it off of my small 110 amp hour Never Start battery. i can run a small toaster oven, a Circular Saw or my friends 64" TV all with no problem. the fans adjust to its temperature so they don't always run when its cool and they are not that loud. i am using #2 GA copper wire with this. unfortunately this wont run my APC Battery Backups as the power isn't clean enough to transfer over on to it but that's not a big deal as that's not what i intended it for when i got it.

I bought this to power a portable laser printer, as soon as the printer started warming up it would fault. Tried on multiple batteries and using heavy duty cables. It just couldn't handle the job. My old 750W power inverter could at least power the printer on, this would just fail. It is also very big in size. Item returned to amazon immediately and I hardly ever return anything but not much I could do with just a brick.

With a power hungry myTouch 4G you need to be close to a re-charging capability. I was glad to see this product because it seems to meet my needs, has the correct cables, and does not have to be mounted anywhere. The only problem is, it also needs to work.

The first one came dead on arrival (DOA). When I plugged it in, the Channel display was just dark and blank (with or without my phone plugged in). When you plug the phone in it is obvious that no charging is going on. Just to be sure, I tried plugging it into my auxiliary plug and my other car's plugs. My old T-Mobile charger works in all these outlets... I just do not use that phone anymore.

Gomadic's customer support was excellent. They sent me a replacement and I got it in two days. The only problem is that the unit has exactly the same problem as the first one. I wonder if they got a bad lot from the manufacturer. Hopefully, they will test the next one before they ship it to me.

Update: The third time was the charm. Gomatic provided yet a third device and this one worked! Sound is excellent through my car FM radio with little or no static. I do have to turn the volume on my phone up almost all the way and turn the radio volume up a little higher than I would on a normal FM Station, but the sound is excellent. Also the charger seems to quickly add a boost to the phone so even a short charge seems to help me make it through the day.

One thing potential customers should be aware of is that this unit is not intended to be a hands free device as it does not have a built in mic. You will need to use a bluetooth headset to make phone calls, but when you make a phone call the media volume mutes so your call is clear. When you finish your call the music is back...

I now give it a three but mostly because of Nomadics customer suppport.

Order this product for my wife for christmas she loves it. Easy operation. The only thing keeping me from rating this product a 5 star is becuase of the sound. I can hear interference in the speekers at a lower volume.

Acid Neutralizing Mat

This is exactly the same mat sold in the big box auto stores for double the price. This battery mat just slips under the car battery and may require some trimming with scissors to fit in your individual tray properly. Once it is installed it will eliminate the acid that some times drips down a batteries side which froms and corrodes anything it comes in contact with especially plastic parts and wire covers. Less corrosive acid is always the best acid period.

I purchased this as I found that a small amount of battery acid was occasionally dripping down onto my truck's washer fluid pump. After replacing two pumps due to corrosion/decay (after only a couple months $80 a piece!) I purchased this mat at a local Harbor Freight. It has worked great & neutralized any acid that finds its way out of the battery; I have not had another washer pump fail since. Harbor Freight no longer carries this, but this mat does exactly what you expect. After it ages and soaks up acid it will build up the white crusty corrosion you'd expect. I'm buying another!

So I was concerned these wouldn't work with my 2012 GMC Terrain. I tested it on AV1, which is the standard DVD setting. It worked great. Good, clear sound. Unfortunately, found out that the AV2 (the RGB connection through the passenger section) does not carry over. Worse yet, discovered that mid-way on a 12-hour road trip. Would be good if GMC and the vendors were more transparent with the frequencies of these. I'm not going to ding the rating because of this but strongly recommend you test both your AV units.

Other notes the auto off appears to work fine (or the kids are actually turning it off). Battery seems to last a decent amount of time. They've lasted 4 months with regular use so far.

I purchased this charger because I wanted the option to charge my Kindle Fire at work. First, the Fire's battery life is amazing and I didn't actually need a charger, but the USB cord was great to transfer data using my laptop. The biggest complaint with this charger is the fact that if you push it all the way in the 12v receptacle, you are going to need something narrow to pry it out and probably some pliers unless you have an iron grip. I've seen other chargers that are designed to mount flush like this before but they usually have some type of d-ring to assist with removal. If you don't need to move the charger between vehicles then this charger would be fine.

This product did work as stated for a GPS unit. Only draw back is it is really two pieces with a plug close to the end of it. The connection appears to make the unit adaptable to other applications.

Might work fine for you just be aware the power cord is not as show in the picture as the adapter/connector does add a lot of bulk to it and tends to easily hang up on items and unplug itself.

Got this for my dad for his Rand McNally. The only negative is that the cord is not as long as what he was expecting. He is a long haul trucker and needed a longer cord for his semi truck. Otherwise, it works perfectly.
