I bought these based on their price and description. I assumed they were a little better than junk. I was wrong. The clamps may work a few times before they self-destruct (seriously). I boxed them back up immediately after seeing how they were made to be returned. Very disappointing. Beware of the flood of cheap Chinese crap appearing now on Amazon (and everywhere else). I found a much better (and less expensive) set at the local Advance Auto Parts store (also made in China but better quality).

I bought the GPS and originally had it on a cycle. Unfortunately the connector into this mounting unit, if bumped to much, would come loose on the inside. Hence forth the unit has been moved to my car where the liine into the unit will not be bumped on the side. Seems to work just fine. No problems.

This model is a recent purchase and I also have one 12V only model (3600) that I purchased two years ago. I own two farms and several vehicles and various farm equipment. Both units are very rugged and perform very well. I have used them both to start farm tractors, cars, trucks, mowers, a generator, and my Bobcat in winter. The cables and clamps are heavy commercial quality items that store nicely when not in use. The built-in charger works well to quickly charge and maintain the internal batteries. It will jump-start several vehicles between charges. These have really proved invaluable and save me the hassle of getting a truck close in while trying to get the battery side close enough so I can wrestle around with a cold set of jumper cables what a pain.. I carry one of these on trips, when towing or in bad weather so in an emergency I don't have to rely on the kindness of strangers for a jump-start although I have rescued two damsels in distress and one city guy with a Neon so far. You don't have to worry about smoking the alternator on your truck when jumping an unfamiliar vehicle either. The accessory 12V cigarette lighter-type outlet has actually proven to be a handy "never thought I would use it" feature. The switches are commercial quality and are not flimsy junk like many others. The LED readout actually provides useful information concerning internal battery or vehicle voltage levels or percentage of charge. If you are in the market for a no-nonsense unit, then I can tell you I have been very pleased with both of mine. You can rest assured that you will get what you pay for. Ladies, these would make a great gift for your busy guy. Just make sure it's big enough for his equipment. The 12V only is fine unless he has really big trucks, tractors or airplanes. I had intended to buy a high capacity jump starter for some time for use on the farm. I was prompted to go ahead and get one a few months ago because the batteries on my Dodge Ram 3500 have reached the point that they will hold a charge for only a few days -some times the truck may set a week without being used. Since the vehicle starts fine when used regularly, I didn't want to buy a new pair of batteries till I had to.

I have been amazed at the power that this jump starter delivers. It starts my truck's relatively big Diesel engine every bit as easily as new batteries would.

Only one minor complaint: The cables on the jump starter lack a couple of feet being long enough to reach from the ground to the battery on my truck. This is a minor problem -I simply set it on the bumper.

As I said, I have owned this jump starter only a few months. If future problems occur, I will amend this rating.

I used it to start up a ford econoline with a seized up alternator, and it turned it over like nothing. I had to keep it on the van because the battery was dead and would stall without the power. I had to start it 8 or so times to drive it up on my trailer.

Only problem with it is the fan stays on the entire time it is plugged in. The manual says you can leave it plugged in forever, but I don't know how long that little fan inside can take it. That is my only problem with it so far.

As it states, it is not copper wire. The only real problem with this wire is that you need to be very careful when cutting or striping it as the actual wire inside is very easy to break/cut through and the individual strands are very fine and you can actually break them off very easily.

This "soft" wire is both good and bad. It makes it very easy to run the wire as it's very flexible, but once again you have to be a little more careful with it, unlike a thicker copper wire.

Used it to do the "Big 3" on one of my cars and seems to be working fine.

I bought this after borrowing my father's same charger for about 4 months. Charges the 12 volt batter for our riding toy. Display indicates when 80% charged and 100% charged. Cords on both ends are pretty good length, making it convenient to leave on the work bench in the garage and stretch down to the battery for charging. The camera's resolution of 1280x480 pixels is because there are two cameras and the picture shows two videos of 640x480 side-by-side, therefore the frame size is 1280x480. The camera listed here says it is an HD DVR and this is not true. Amazon should not let people believe that they will have an HD picture just because assuming 1280x480 is an HD standard. It is not and never will be high definition resolution, Wikipedia will help you to make it clear. Full HD is 1920×1080, and 720p HD is 1280x720.

Overall picture is blurry and round "pillow-like", nothing is possible to read, not even a license plate of a car standing right in front! Come on people, it's 2012 already, 0.3mp VGA cameras are out of market like 10 years ago. Camera is worthless in any insurance claim as well, if anything happens they require HD quality. So unless you want just to view the roads you drove and what was happening in car at that time, which maybe helps to taxicab drivers, otherwise it's loss of money, 1 star and returned immediately.

For what it is, this is a great little DVR. I got mine, put in a MicroSD card, plugged in two wires, and it just worked. Build quality is much better than I expected, it feels like it's put together solidly. For the price that I paid, I was expecting loose fitting, thin plastic shell that creaked and flexed when holding it, this does not do that.

Video quality isn't bad, although it is low resolution. This is clearly stated on the product page in multiple places, so I'm not sure why other reviewers seem surprised by this. Any camera with as wide angle of a lens as this has will have difficulty making out license plates, regardless of the resolution. If you're wanting a camera to read license plates with, get something with a narrower field of view and a high resolution sensor. If you want something that clearly shows what's going on in and around your car, get this one.

Also, this isn't mentioned in the review page, but this unit does show your speed on it. It's only shown in KPH though, there are no options to change it to MPH.

This isn't related to the product review, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Mine was shipped VERY fast. It was well packaged, and arrived in excellent condition. I noticed a lot of people mentioning that they received their cameras poorly packaged and beat up. The seller that I bought mine from was EXCELLENT. It shipped from California, not over seas. The package arrived in good enough shape to be in a retail display.

Pros:

It works well, for what it's designed to do

Exterior camera is wide angle enough to show both sides of the hood, and what's beyond it

Interior camera is wide angle enough to show the entire inside of my pickup, and both side windows

Can easily play back the video (In very low resolution) on the device, without needing to hook it to a computer

Seems to be built well

Cons:

Poorly translated manual, although the device is simple enough to use that this shouldn't be a problem. All menus on the device appear to be translated well.

Requires proprietary software to view playback on a PC.

Mount is relatively large. I've got a pickup with a fairly large windshield, the camera and mount seems to take up a lot of it. This could probably be helped with an aftermarket mount, since the camera uses a standard thread for the mount.

There's a flashing icon on the display, I'm not sure what it means. The manual says nothing about it. It may be because I'm currently using a slower MicroSD card than they recommend.

It would be nice if the wiring harness for the GPS & power were smaller

Overall, I'm very happy with this unit, and would certainly recommend it.

I've had this product for many months now and I really enjoy having it, it definitely was worth the money. During the day it is great, however at night, unless you are on a light highway, it is useless. But I enjoy the GPS feature, and the gravity sensor. It has 24hr time which I also like, It isn't extremely intuitive, but you only set it up once and rarely download video onto your computer, so it's not a big deal. It said it worked with a mac, however I tried many time and eventually just gave in and looked at the video on my windows 8 laptop.

Coleman 6- to 12-Volt Portable Power Kit 50100

I liked the charger although I have some difficulty. The battery did not activate with the solar charger and I had to use the wall outlet. I also could not get my cell phone to charge off the internal battery but technical support has been pretty friendly and helpful so far. Some things have not been resolved as of yet. A note to keep in mind is that the unit seems to need to be in direct light for a long time. The window approach did not work all that well as direct light was not available full time. The radio does not have an antenna but sounds pretty good and the lights, my primary reason for the purchase, are flashlight quality.

My model didn't appear to come with the right cables -the key power cable didn't look anything like the picture in the somewhat cryptic instructions, and as a consequence none of the adapters could be fitted to the solar charger. But then the so-callled chargepak wouldn't charge anything, even when fully charged with the AC/DC converter, and as a consequence the the radio/light wouldn't work either. In case of emergency, I suppose you could throw it at someone.

The solar panel works even in dim light, I place mine on a windowsill and it still manages to recharge the battery. The battery holds a charge for quite a while, I found it quite useful during long power outages. The built-in lights and radio works well. It's very portable and fits easily in your car or take it along with you on a hike or camping. The connectors will fit most cellphones and it has a USB port to provide power for devices such as iPods.

I've used one of these radios for quite a while now (yes, it's survived a few drops, too) and I think it's great. The solar charger hasn't been all that useful to me, but we don't seem to get a whole lot of steady sun, here, so I've had a hard time making it useful. But, I bought the appropriate adapter for the charge pak and I simply charge it up by plugging in. The battery power lasts a long time.

I love the convenient shape and the easy-to-grab handle. This is a nice 'flat' type of radio. I always need a flashlight, too, so that's a plus. I use this gadget every night!

Initially I bought Winch-in-a-bag for my Elk hunt to Colorado. After recieving it this past Saturday I wondered how I could try it out. Well today my better half ran the riding mower in the creek beside the property. Using it just as the instructions state it pulled the tractor out no problem. With this being the first winch I ever used the only thing I didn't like was how the cable doesn't wind evenly.

I used this product in the process of cutting down 16 trees to help guide the tree in the proper direction. It functioned in this application. However, the cable tends to track into the sharp edge of the Hause or cable lead hole. This action quickly wears the TPO block and results in cable damage against the sharp edge of the metal hause. The TPO block is not available as a service part. Additionally, on my unit, the "spring steel cable tensioner" proved defective. It cracked apart and was also scraping on the cable. Based on the tracking design issue, I would not recommend this winch for anything more than a once or twice in a lifetime use in a pinch. I am guessing the tensioner issue was a quality defect.

Good for small jobs but lacks power. I bought it to use on a 63 foot Rohn fold over radio tower but it had insufficient power to raise it.

Read the reviews before I bought this and was apprised at the vat differences in them. I needed a winch for some light lifting and to move a truck around my yard. It functioned flawlessly. I think that if it is used as designed it does what it is supposed to at a very reasonable price. If you are stupid enough to think this can be used like a piece of heavy industrial equipment then you will be disappointed. If you want something to throw in your trunk as insurance to drag yourself out of a ditch it will work perfectly. I would recommend getting some sort of snatch block so you can double it's load pulling capability.

Product is fine for light work ---I live in Alaska and used the winch to pull my snowmachine out of deep snow -the winch worked fine but the yellow cover over the terminals came apart and the engage/disengage knob broke after the second use --outside temp. was plus 20 above this knob is made of plastic and does not hold up after minumal use. The bag the winch comes in--is way to small and also does not hold up well-maybe this item should be called a throw-away winch.
