Husky Liners Custom Fit WeatherBeater Front and Second Seat Floor Liner Set for Select Kia Sorento

Husky Liners Custom Fit WeatherBeater Front and Second Seat Floor Liner Set for Select Kia Sorento ModelsI purchased these for my 2011 Kia Sorento. They went in easy and cover everything I hoped they would. Overall these will provide excellent protection for your vehicle. I had a set of WeatherTechs in a previous vehicle and while these aren't quite as nice, they were nearly $80 cheaper which more than makes up for it in my opinion.

Get a set of these and you won't be disappointed!

Love these. Would buy again! Keep them in year round. The custom fit is fantastic. A little difficult to get out because of the rubber spikes on the bottom, but they stay right in place.

These mats came within ten days and the fear of my floors being destroyed by my children and dog have disappeared. I look forward to skiing and not worrying about the floors getting muddy or wet. Now if they just made something for my seats I would be in heaven.

Purchased these for a 2012 KIA Sorento SX, the "dressiest" trim level of the vehicle. Though they fit well and meet the need for protection of the floor, we have decided to return them for several reasons.

Unlike traditional rubber floor mats, the Husky mats are a stiff "plastic" material that, at least in our opinion, looks out of place in a vehicle that otherwise has a relatively "upscale" interior. That's a matter of taste, of course, and it's certainly true that the coverage the mats provide is far better than the traditional rubber mats available from KIA. Still, the "feel" of the mats under one's feet is a bit....well, cheesy.

The first point would not be a deal breaker if it were not for the second and third problems. Like many mats, these are held in place with tiny "nibs" that grip the carpet to prevent movement. (They are not designed to accommodate the Sorento's floor "buttons" to hold the mats in place.) The nibs would work well except for the fact that they are extremely sharp, more like tiny VERY sharp spikes. In fact, one must be extremely careful handling the mats to avoid puncture wounds. Once in place, I have no doubt that the mats will stay in place but I would be concerned about the damage to the carpet underneath after extended use. Furthermore, trying to remove the mats for cleaning can be a risky endeavor.

The sharp spikes are especially problematic in the second row single mat that covers both sides (and the center) of the floor. The problem is two-fold. First, with kids in the back seat it's possible for tiny fingers to encounter the spikes if too much exploration of the floor is involved. (Yes, I know, what's the kid doing down there? LOL.)

Second, although a single mat that covers the center drive line "hump" seems like a good idea, it makes removing the mat for cleaning a much more involved task. And with the tiny spikes, it's best undertaken by two people to avoid scratching the interior. Believe me, the spikes are VERY sharp.

In short, after considering the hazards and the looks of the mats, we decided to return them in favor of the more traditional (though admittedly less protective) rubber mats from KIA and to save a few bucks in the bargain. For those who are looking for the best possible protection of the carpet in the Sorento, I'd recommend at least looking at the competition from WeatherTech before opting for a lower priced alternative.
