PowerDrive RPPI200C 200-Watt DC to AC Power Inverter with Cup Holder Design, USB Port, and 2 AC Out

PowerDrive RPPI200C 200-Watt DC to AC Power Inverter with Cup Holder Design, USB Port, and 2 AC OutletsIt does not sit in our cup holder well, it tips over constantly (-star) and the internal fan runs while on so you can hear it. If you can live with these irritations (which I can't, I gave to my husband and he LOVES it!) it's the perfect product, I especially liked he way the 2 3 prong plug ins face away from each other.

I read the reviews on this but I didn't care. I plugged it in and it worked fine besides the noise. I turn the radio up anyway so I hardly hear it.

Great product, while traveling for pleasure or business this little power supply can run two lap tops, an I-pad and charge your phone at the same time all on only 12 Volts from the cigarette lighter. who knew you would ever need to run so many things at once to keep up while out of the office or traveling with the family.

We have two of these that are on the road just about every weekend. Great product and great service from the vendor.

Viper 3303V 2-Way Responder LC Security System Car Alarm (3303V)

Viper 3303V 2-Way Responder LC Security System Car Alarm
  • 2-Way 24-Channel Paging Responder Car Alarm with Keyless Entry
  • Includes one 5-button LCD 2-way SuperCode remote and one 5-button 1-way SuperCode remote
  • SuperCode Technology provides up to 2000 foot range
  • Priority icon map with 20% larger display | Priority user interface
  • Confirms commands on LCD screen | Rechargeable battery

We have a vintage car which just has been completely restored.

I have done much research on different types of alarms, and even the ones with GPS tracking system, which is all good, BUT, you have to pay a monthly service fee of $19.00 and higher PLUS the unit. So in the long run, those systems can cost a fortune.

I have always heard of Viper alarms to be the best of the best. We also did not need a remote start because of the car having a carb on it.

This Viper alarm does exactly what we need........and we know our car is well protected. The range is pretty good, IF you don't have buildings and objects obstructing the remote and the car.

I'm very happy with this unit and the seller. The unit arrived before the estimated date and very well packed.

I called my local dealer for their best range system. I asked for one mile range because I park on roof of apartment parking garage and travel to hotel garages and carry high value equipment businesses. After they installed the 3303, I noticed the Viper website mentioned one mile under 3303 product technology so I felt confident. After someone busted out 2 windows and stole my stuff, dealer tech told me that I have a 1/4 mile system. After researching, the tech is right. The two way only works if I park in fire lane or stand next to garage. The viper website is shady because they mislead one mile range.

Mini Car / Auto Charger for the Rio Karma - half the size but twice the power - uses Gomadic TipExc

Mini Car / Auto Charger for the Rio Karma - half the size but twice the power - uses Gomadic TipExchange Technology
  • Charger provides a full 10W (2,000mAh) of available current in a small form factor a little over 1 inch long. Flexible, straight cable measure 50 inches in total length.
  • Gomadic TipExchange Technology protects your investment by providing a means to change/upgrade your charger by simply swapping the physical charging tip. (Charging tip for Rio Karma) included with additional tips sold separately)
  • Intelligent circuit provides precise output voltage and resistor configuration specific to the Rio Karma. This ensures battery is safely and efficiently charged without affecting battery longevity.
  • Straight, non-coiled cable design allows for easy routing of your charger around vehicle trim for a more professionally installed look. Durable construction is built to last.
  • Backed by the Gomadic Lifetime Warranty. This is a quality product that is built to be the last car charger you ever buy!

Had an issue w/ the item, because I thought the tip on the charger goes into the larger of the two USB slots (see picture). It doesn't, the tip it comes with only charges the Rio; it does not activate the menu. After explaining my issue with customer service, the issue was resolved quickly. I got the new tip in no time flat.

Gomadic is a good company to deal with as they have really good customer service!

I still love my Rio Karma but with its battery life starting to wane and a long trip coming I needed a car charger to make up the difference. This product is 12 volt cigarette lighter adapter with a universal end and an adapter that matches it to the Rio's DC power inlet.

It may be that my Rio is old and worn, but as delivered the plug would not maintain contact enough to charge or power the Rio without physically holding it in place. Since the provided plug did not appear to be as long as the one on my original AC adapter I went to work with a dremel tool and ground down the plastic casing on the plug to expose about another eighth inch of conductor on the plug. Now it fits perfectly and charges with no problem.

Pyle PMP3G2 Mobile SD/USB/AUX/MP3 Compatible Player with Built-In FM Transmitter -Green

Pyle PMP3G2 Mobile SD/USB/AUX/MP3 Compatible Player with Built-In FM Transmitter -Green
  • LCD Display Screen - Fully Adjustable Arm for Multi Angle Viewing
  • Built-In wireless FM Transmitter with 206 Channel - Wireless Full Function Remote Control
  • Frequency Capable (87.5-108MHz) - DC 12Volt Compatible
  • USB/SD Card Compatible - Green color Cigarette Lighter
  • 3.5 AUX Input Adaptor

For a basic device, this is a great unit. Even in the city you're going to get a good station and decent reception. It's not going to charge your iPod or other MP3 player, but if you want to load your music or audiobooks on a USB flash drive or SD card, this is going to work great for you.

Pros: FM frequencies all up and down the dial (VERY important if you live in the city); works off cigarette lighter (nothing to keep charged); works with SD card, USB flash drive, or input from portable player (one of these options will work for you); will start on the track you last left off with; allows folders for making playlists.

Cons: Line of sight for remote operations (in other words, this thing is going to stick out somewhere in your car); no fast forward and rewind (if you're listening to an audiobook, better make sure you're at the end of a chapter before you stop or turn off power); SD card or flash drive sticks out.

If you're looking for a unit to work with an older car stereo or even a newer one without a direct input for your digital music player, this is great. And because it will play your flash drive or SD card, there's no need to make a bunch of MP3 CDs and store them in your car. Place your files in folders to make a pseudo-playlist, and you're good to go. Even works with the adapters for a microSD card. This was a great purchase to put days' worth of music in my car without needing an elaborate setup, a dozen CDs, or something that needs constant charging.

Only thing was that my unit is NOT green, but red. Doesn't really matter, since I prefer the red, but I thought green would have been a cool color too.

****May 2011 Addition****

I've now had this unit for just shy of 2 months and the display has completely stopped working. I cannot see ANYTHING on it. Since I have all my songs in folders (pseudo-playlists), it's not a real problem, but if I had to tune this thing again I'd be in real trouble. If you keep this in your car (as I do), I highly recommend storing it in your glove compartment or somewhere else to keep it out of sunlight when not in use. And park your car in the shade!

This player is pretty amazing. It plays most any mp3 files I feed it. However you have to keep trying until you get a good one. I wanted 2 and went through 4 to get them. One display was barely discernible in total darkness. Actually all four displays were different. Two were adequate but you can't read any of them in sunlight. I have an old USB player that sounds like $&1+ so I plugged it in direct. Bingo, the Pyle played it's files fine. Well 2 of the Pyles did, 2 didn't. That's not a deal breaker but weird.

It broadcasts in .1 MHz steps, 87.5 108.0, which is good. One car radio matches up while the other one tunes better .1 off. Your results may vary. When you get close to a radio broadcast tower changing freqs is a button push away.

The sound is very good at 14 out of max 16 on the volume (as long as you have good files). The signal to noise ratio over FM is fairly low but not noticeable at reasonable volumes with a gas engine. If you crank it you will hear some FM noise at stop lights between tracks, etc. In a car where the 12V socket powers off with the ignition, it starts up playing the last song from it's beginning. With full time power I just hit the pause button (no noticeable power drain for days.) When I restart the car it starts up the same as above (from the power surge?)

As far as play, there are only four modes: single, folder, all and random. I can't figure them out. If you have multiple folders it doesn't seem possible to play only one of them in random mode. When you try it will grab tracks out of another folder. When you want to play all folders random it will hang up in one folder until you goose it. Whatever you want, it ain't gonna give you. So I just put one folder per card or stick and then I can choose either "in order" or random. If I want to change "folders" I just change the memory. This is actually doable driving while changing folders isn't practical since you can't see what you're doing. As I can put 25 to 62 hours of audio on a $6 (4Gb) stick in 2010, that's the only way to go for me.

A bonus is that you don't have to "register" the files with the player like a Latte or a Blackberry. Just plug and play.

You only need the remote to change folders or EQ, both unnecessary to me.

You can plug your iPod headphone jack to it if you like. Using the resulting 3 amplifying stages (at least 2 of them being cheap) on your audio seem nuts to me.

BTW, both red ones were bad. I kept a green and a blue one.

It was great first 2-3 months, nice & clear, loud enough, etc... The 1st thing to go was the last station memory, no big deal, but then the USB & SD inputs stopped outputting anything shortly after, though it appeared to play very faintly from the media the line-in worked for another month or so b4 it crapped out... The screen still lights up but w/ no display info kinda sucked at the 4-5mo level...

Now, Less than a month since then it won't lock a station (not that I can see or hear like it useta do) for about 6mos of use for less than $20... I'm guessing they used some cheap parts & tiny wires that either caused 2 much resistance or melted internal parts possibly the sun?

I'm not sure it's even charging my phone much on the USB, takes longer than the wall charger that is, but it is better'n using it 4 nothin' since no more sound!

I'd say 2 stars cuz it would be great if it still worked, but I went w/ the cheapest one for $6 (incl S/H) last week & it is simple but works just as good or better than this one... Not as nice looking tho!

I just received this on Oct. 1 and used it for a trip over the weekend. I plugged a 2Gb flash drive to it and it played all of my files. It produces a very clean sound once it is tuned to a usable FM frequency, just don't turn up the volume (gain) up too high or you will hear considerable distortion.. The remote isn't all that powerful, but as long as you're in the front seat all is good. Overall, a good product for people that do not have MP3/Ipod connectivity in their car. At this price, they will make good stocking stuffers for the holidays.

Pyramid RPB425 4 Gauge Ground Wire 25 feet OFC (Black)

Pyramid RPB425 4 Gauge Ground Wire 25 feet OFC
  • 4 Gauge Black Ground Wire 25 ft. OFC
  • 61/0.25 x 7C,D. 9.0mm

This is the WORST power wire ever purchased. They claim it is 4 gauge, but in reality it is 8 gauge! it is all shielding and hardly any copper wiring. It is made from such thinly stranded wire that cutting the cable shield will surely cause you to cut into the wire, reducing the gauge even more. I have performed trunk battery installations in 8 other vehicles, all using 4 gauge wire. Using this wire the car will NOT START. For comparison, Stinger brand 4au wire is 3.0mm, Phoenix Gold's 4au wire is 2.5mm, this brand is 2.0mm. AGAIN THIS IS NOT 4au WIRE!!!! Don't be ripped off.

I bought this along with some 4ga ring termials. Just be aware that the wire is smaller than regular 4ga, the wire with insulation fit inside the crimp on termials. Compared this to a piece of 4ga I had from an old system and it seems like this stuff is 8ga. Maybe it was labeled wrong or something.

I bought this wire expecting 4guage wire. I have alot of 4 guage in my car right now and it is alot bigger than this new stuff. Although the shipping was pretty good, when i opened the package it was dissapointing to see this instead of 4guage. But none the less, it is a great price and i wish i would have read up on some reviews. i would say this is closer to 6 or 8 guage.

Want Pyramid RPB425 4 Gauge Ground Wire 25 feet OFC (Black) Discount?

Truly this is about a 6 gauge wire, so don't buy this expecting a true 4 gauge wire. I knew this beforehand and still purchased because it it's a really good price per foot of wire, even if it is 6 gauge.

This is a good quality wire.

The image shows a deep black insulator which is not exactly what I received.

On the other hand, the electrons that flow through the cable, I am sure, won't mind the slight color issue.

As a 4 Gauge wire it is quite flexible and easy to handle. The bend radius, as one would expect is limited.

If you intent to use it in small spaces with tight bends, it is probably better to use some higher gauge wire.

I use it to connect a battery bank with wires of equal length together and don't want too much of a voltage drop between the individual batteries.

NOCO Genius GEN2 12V+12V 2-Bank 20 Amp Smart On-Board Waterproof Battery Charger

NOCO Genius GEN2 12V+12V 2-Bank 20 Amp Smart On-Board Waterproof Battery ChargerI did a LOT of on line reviewing before purchasing my Genius 2 charger. I looked at many brand and narrowed it down to either Minn Kota or the NOCO Genius 2. I'm glad I went with the Gen2. I wired up the charger plug to a recessed outlet on my boat instead of the plug-in cord. The charger is small and light and give great power output for the money. 2 banks @ 10amps per bank. It automatically charges and then shuts off and goes into a "mainatain" mode. I charge both my starting batter and my deep cycle battery with it. It knows how to charge each batter based on the internal circuitry. I've used it about 1/2 a season (30 plus charges) and typically leave it plugged in for several days at a time. Batteries are perfectly charged and ready to go. I would HIGHLY recommend this charger to anyone who is looking for an onboard charging system for your boat. It beats the hell out of hooking up an individual battery charger after each trip. I just plug in an extension cord and I'm good to go. Amazon.com has the absolute BEST price on it too. I paid about $115 delivered and other sites are charging $179 or more! Its listed on the NOCO site for $215.

Used to charge two Optima Blue Top deep cycle marine batteries and this charger is the best! Totally automated and very safe! Won't burn up or overcharge batteries. There's some serious technology in this charger!

Received item fast and was exactly as advertised. I read a lot of reviews which helped me with this purchase. I do agree with some of the reviews is that the power cord is a little short, but really no problem or issue for my application. IF you are looking for an on board charger, this is it. Price is best by far. Great product.

This could be a million dollars and it would be worth it but for slightly over 100 dollars it's almost illegal. This charger does everything and the nice part is you can turn it on and walk away and know your taken care. When you return no matter how long you've been away your boat, motor home, or whatever will start and function perfectly as it should....I give it 10 stars.
