Buy Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2005 Toyota Camry With Do-It-Yourself Programming Now
Very quick shipping; took less than one minute to program two key fobs. Local dealership wanted ~$160 for one, got two for about $45. Still working after three months.Despite my selecting all the right parameters when ordering the clicker, they sent the wrong one and I had to send it back (trip to the post office). I then got the right clicker and it works just fine.I bought a used remote for $23.00 and followed the instructions in this you tube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQmpLjYryRw. It took me about 3 tries to get it to work. I spent probably about 20 minutes in total watching the video, jotting down the notes and programming the remote. Programming the remote mostly involves opening and closing the car door and sticking the key in the ignition.Toyota was going to have to order the remote, then they were going to charge $150 for the remote and $99 to program it.
I am really glad that I bought this from Amazon rather than Toyota.
