Using the 11 Plate HHO Dry Cell I was able to get between 3 to 3.5 volts. It was good to see how a fuel cell is built and how simple they are. Very educational. Nice product.

I haven't jumped a battery with these, but I inspected the connections and the insulation and I'm impressed. The cables themselves are more than adequate for jumping a car battery.

If these fail to perform, once I actually do jump a battery with them, I will amend this review.

As others have expressed, it is annoying that the star rating cannot be amended as well.

I bought this to assemble my own car emergency kit. It's the only item with the length and gauge I wanted. Quality control is not great, since 2 of the clamps were missing the glow in the dark "Polarity labels", but other than that it does what it's supposed to do. No complaints.

First of all, when I got my shipment the box the cables come in was thrashed. Second the construction of this item is mediocre, I guess there isn't much to say about jumper cables as long as they work and they work.

I'm very pleased! I ordered 2 of these because I had a lot of doubts in car splitters as previous ones and most I found online had HORRIBLE reviews. With this one that is NOT the case. They seem very quality and durable build. If something goes wrong I trust this seller will take care of me. Although I don't think anything will go wrong! I think I was lucky to find lasz's listings and have 1 of these adapters setup in both my households cars now. The nice glow of the blue light(from the BESTTEK logo on top) showing when its pulling power is really nice. In one of my cars the adapter that plugs into the lighter socket is slightly smaller than the outlet and we always unplug them when we're not in the car as we don't know if its bad to leave things plugged in pulling power from the battery?(maybe someone can answer me? =D) Anyway, even though its slightly smaller it still stays connected and pulling power while we have it pushed in there. I just like that it shows the blue light so we know when we've 'hit the sweet spot' in that car and don't have to waste time wiggling it around or messing with it. These headphones are really nice. They offer a lot of cushion on the ears. They are adjustable to fit multiple ages. The carrying cases are a very nice feature. The Farenheit HP-11S turned out to have several potentially useful features although I wasn't able to evaluate them because my copy of the headphones worked only sporadically, and then only when within a few feet of the transmitter (less than half the range of the unit it was hoped to replace). Its fold-flat feature and the auto-off feature would have been especially useful in my situation. It was also fairly inexpensive.

I was unable to find any complete description of the product before I purchased it, so I discovered most of the unit's features only when reading the descriptions on the package. It would have been helpful especially for comparison purposes if more detailed info had been available while I was comparing alternative products.

The biggest piece of missing info was the unit's operating frequency. This made it impossible to determine whether the unit was compatible with my existing transmitter prior to purchase. Because the unit turned out (apparently) not to be compatible, it was not usable because it did not have an included transmitter of its own, and I was unable to determine whether any compatible transmitter is available for it.

Although I could not tell for sure whether my unit was simply incompatible with my transmitter, or if the unit itself was defective in some way, I suspect that most of the negative aspects here stem primarily from lack of needed info prior to purchase.

RoadPro RPBH-012 12V Beverage Heater

Hot water in my flask doesn't stay hot enough for a whole day out, and this is a good way to bring my tea or coffee up to temperature. I haven't tried heating water from cold it is always at least warm when I start. It takes several minutes and the wait can be a bit tedious, but it does a good job. The clip which is supposed to hold the heater onto the side of the mug doesn't (it flops about), so I have to hold it to keep it properly immersed. It cools off quickly and is reasonably easy to clean with a small brush.

This is a good product. I use it in a stainless coffee mug in the car. Sometimes the cigarette lighter plug on the Road Pro will melt if you leave it on too long. Radio shack part number 270-1521 is a much more robust plug. I just crunch the old plug up and cut the metal tabs with the wires soldered to them from the original plug and put them in the holes in the Radio Shack heavy duty plug and it is fixed and lasts forever. I leave the LED connected and it indicates when it is plugged in.

Great gadget. Much better than the plug in mugs that fail quickly.

I purchased this item as a gift for my son. He is an over the road truck driver and I thought this would be nice so he could make coffee of a morning. He used it twice and it burned out. It may be that it was just a defective product, but on the other hand at a cost of about $12, it is not worth taking the chance. I would have returned the product, but it may be months before I see him again, and he had already discarded the packaging. My loss could be your gain. Don't buy!

I bought this item to heat water so that I could keep hot coffee during a 5-day cross-country road trip. (Without having to pull over to purchase it...) The product specifications indicates that the so-called "metal" clip would attach neatly to most "CERAMIC" coffee cups. Firstly, the "metal clip" is NOT METAL but some type of hard plastic. I chose a ceramic cup with the narrowest rim to be sure it would accomodate the space allowed for the clip to engage. However, as soon as I placed the clip on the rim of the my cup, the clip snapped off! (With little or NO pressure!!)

I just finished the trip on Saturday Sept. 4th and any hot coffee during my trip was purchased from various vendors enroute so I wasted $16.98 on the item and shipping cost. WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP!

Usually, you get what you pay for. Sometimes, you get lucky and get more than what you paid for. Unfortunately, the Wolo Bright Star is actually worth less than the little bit I paid for it. First, the big design problem. It has a coiled cord, which means it has no reach unless you find a way to straighten it out. Second, the visibility is very poor in daylight conditions. Even on a cloudy day, this light won't really attract your attention more than a 1000 feet away. On a sunny day, this light isn't really noticeable unless you're standing a few feet away. Finally, quality is very poor. After a few days of use, I noticed moisture building up on the inside surface of the light. It had only been exposed to a very brief and light rain shower, and it has a rubber gasket, so I was confused. I took off the lens and wiped it off, but the condensation came back a few days later. After a couple weeks, I'm guessing some of that water finally made it to the motor because the light stopped working completely. How did the moisture get in there? When I took the new light out of its box, the rubber gasket looked brand new. After a week's exposure to the elements, surface cracks were appearing on all sides. For $25, I guess you can't get quality components. Stay away from this one.

Decent for the price. Not that bright during the day but its good at night. Magnet holds pretty good to the roof of the car.

I bought this blanket for my wife, for our long drives to and from the Catskill Mountains, in the winter. She is very happy with it and says it is plenty warm. The material is soft, although a bit bulgy after many uses. The cord is long enough to reach the outlet and seems to be heavy duty with a level control. It is well made and large enough. I was surprised that a 12 volt blanket would be this warm. I was worried about using a heating device through the cars 12v system but I have had no problems (Toyota) I am more than satisfied with the purchase and recommend it to my friends.

The only down side is now our dog insists on sitting on her lap for the entire trip.
