The cables are well made and come with a decent case. The issue I have with them is the Cinch-Lock clamps. They work great on soft metal terminals like lead. However, on many newer cars, you don't have the option to clamp onto the lead terminals. Only a hard metal post is provided. When the clamps cannot get a good bite on the battery terminal you don't get a good connection. Overall they do work, but it takes a lot of fiddling to get the connections solid. The design and construction of this product is good. They fit well in the little case that is provided and slide nicely under the seat of my car. They are certainly not heavy duty cables, but at 16 feet they are long enough for most situations and as claimed in the description they should be more than adequate for any car or small trucks and SUVs.I've only needed to use the cables once, but I liked the cinch-lock mechanism and it made me confident that they would not fall off or move around at all during use.

I bought another cable with normal clamps first, and later ordered these on Amazon. I used both, and there are some things I liked about this cable, but I also noticed minor issues with the design. How They Work:
It's worth explaining how the clamps work, which I hadn't realized until they arrived. Unlike other clamps, the springs in the clamps pull them open instead of closing them. As you close the clamps, the clamps are locked in small steps by some sort of mechanism, preventing the springs from pulling them open. To open the clamps, you release the lock and the spring tension opens the clamp.
Pros:
Overall these look more sturdy and durable compared to other cables I saw
The clamping mechanism allows them to lock stronger than the spring tension in some other clamps can
Nice carrying pouch that's easier to store compared to hard plastic cases
Cons:
The clamps are a bit bulkier, making it harder to get in tighter spots
When you get the clamps in tighter spots, you have to be careful when you reach for the lock release for removing the clamps
Overall, I'm happy with the cables and would recommend them.

I wish this product had came in with a detailed instruction on how the quick release button works (how you open up the clamp). Sorry, I don't take cues, but I do read instructions. Well, if you have this problem like me, and not sure about how to open up the clamp, then, the tip is--push the black, so-called "quick release button" down, and we will go from there.Three stars for lacking detailed instructions.

Although I have not had a chance to use this product yet. I wanted a sturdy one which The family Handyman recommended. It was a lot stronger then any of the other ones I was going to buy at the box stores.
