I just received it , opened it and tried in the car parked in garage , the sound quality was extremely good & much better than my previous fm receiver.Need to try it in the road and see how it works. Keep in mind the device connects to your iphone via the audio out leaving the iphone connector slot free.This means the transmitter is not gonna charge ur iphone but leaves the slot free so you could use a iphone car charger to charge it...update (02/19/2013)
After using it for one month,its started giving problems!!!.As mentioned by someone else in the review,the main issue is at the audio out where the cable gets loose !!! Today i was driving back from office,i thought of using it but the cable which connects to my iphone was going off even if i touch it and its so bad that i had to literally hold the iphone to get clear sound..I was really worried bt getting into an accident coz this damn thing was taking away my full attention. I wish the manufactures put some effort in getting this fixed. else this product is a flop at its best !!!
WASTE UR MONEYit goes in and out sometimes while driving, but no major issues...the cool thing is you can also talk on the phone and you can hear it through your speakers.We tried to use this on a 4-hour trip across New York State. Reception was poor; it only receives a couple of stations, none of which gave us decent reception for more than 5 minutes. The plug in adapter stopped working after the first use. The battery still worked, however, so we could still use it as long as we changed the batteries about every 3 hours.Music comes in with a lot of static. Depending on where it is in the car it sometimes doesn't play at all. I had a great FM Transmitter that I used with my older iPhone, but when I got the iPhone 5 i needed one with a different connection, so I got this. I'm considering just getting an adapter to use with the old one and just junking this device
