This is a really handy little charger. It can charge your battery in the car or at home. Too bad all these batteries aren't standardized. I left back 1 star because I haven't had it long enough to rate its life.

It's always good to have a back-up for your electronics so I bought this and a battery for my son's camcorder words like a charm and we were able to video tape 2-dyas worth of family events! Highly recommend and very affordable.

found LED flashed more then it need too, but all is well as it charged my new Maximal Power DB FUJ NP60 battery witch i use for my 2-way radio VX-2r and works well. Like i can take as a small kit to use in other parts of the world.

I have chargers like this for other cameras, have the same design, and have functioned fine. This one arrived dead on arrival, not charging and no led. I took it apart to see its design, as returning it wasn't worth the hassle though I am sure I would have received a refund with amazon no problem. Not sure where failure is, visually its assembly looked ok. I found the np120 battery is a tight fit. Note that if you have another charger of this same design and same voltage specs but different battery size, the battery holder can usually be swapped. I was able to take the battery holder off of this one that failed and put it on another of the same chargers I have for a sony camera and it worked. See in the picture where it is rounded in both sides, if you pull down there, this is the part that holds the battery-it is modular and comes out.
