I have a Mazda Tribute 2008, which is pretty much identical to the Ford Escape. These mats conform to the exact physical shape of the driver/front passenger floors, with maybe 1/2 inch space on one side or the other. I'm hoping with some of the Summer heat the mat settles down and that "gap" disappears. It's not a really big deal though. They are also made of a light material, which is fine. In the picture, you might get an impression that it is a heavy rubber material or something. I'm hoping they otherwise last, and I'm looking forward to the easy cleaning job, whereas the manufacturer mats it comes with I had to scrub all the time :)Save 41% Off
