BestDealUSA Mini 12V/24V LED Display Digital Car Volt Meter Vehicle Voltage Gauge Voltmeter

BestDealUSA Mini 12V/24V LED Display Digital Car Volt Meter Vehicle Voltage Gauge Voltmeter
  • 100% brand new and high quality
  • This digital gauge displays the voltage of batteries in the car
  • With high brightness of LED there is no difficulty in seeing the display

I didn't have much in the way of expectations for this product, but I was quite impressed when it arrived shortly after placing my order on Amazon. I quickly discovered that the fuse to my cigarette lighter was blown. Moved it to the accessory jack and it lit right up. It comes with a fuse to protect it from damage, but at this price who cares?

I had to use this in my girlfriend's car because she has been getting the battery light intermittently despite replacing the battery and alternator. This car has no volt meter in the dash, but with this gadget we get to see the voltage bounce between 13.8 and 14.2 consistently (which is quite normal.) This confirms that our specific problem is related to a short in one of the wires to the ECU.

It is daylight readable, but not too bright at night. It has a warm blue glow and looks great in the dash. I would make it permanent if it was my car. With a good understanding of the properties of DC, this device could help you quickly identify anything from broken belts, blown fuses, faulty alternators, dead battery cells, flaky regulators, dying starters, faulty grounds/shorts, and more; all from the comfort of your cockpit.

Enjoy!

Like the title said, out of two, only one is properly working after a month's use, the other died with no apparent reason. I have no intention of returning the item as obviously because of cost and burden ratio.

Anyway, when it works, it's amazing. You could diagnose "on the fly" your car's alternator, battery, and equipment load performance.

What broke on the broken one? On the screen, most of the lighting legs are dead now. It looks like chinese symbols when plugged in.

This is an inexpensive DC digital volt meter with a cigarette lighter plug. It has no instructions to speak of and doesn't bend like the more expensive ones. To use it just plug it into the cigarette lighter port and turn on the ignition. If the voltage is less than 12 volts with the engine off and goes up to about 13-14.5 volts with the engine running, almost a guarantee that your battery is headed to that junk yard in the sky.

I've got a nice meter like this that I paid two or three times as much for it but this one is so inexpensive that I can just pitch it in the little tool compartment in the back of the car. You could also leave it plugged in if you are curious about the car's voltage under different conditions. Works fine, not a super bright display but as cheap as it is who's to complain.

This product is simple enuff to use...plug it in to ur lighter..an watch ur alternator's output from idle to accelerated speed..have it for about 3 weeks now an no problems watsoever...bright red LED display even in the daylight its bright enuff to read..all and all a value for money little gem..that can let you know if ur car's charging system is giving its true output..or your battery is not holding charge..

Great for monitoring your vehicle's electrical system. For cars with idiot lights this is a great device to have, it will help you detect electrical problems early before you find yourself stranded and needing help from a stranger. All you do is plug it in to a power port and see the exact voltage of your electrical system. This devce can be used while the vehicle is running or parked. Well Worth the cost!
