This item is not flimsy in any way. It is very stiff and sturdy. My HTC evo 4g lte is about as big as a phone you can put in it. Smaller phones will fit a little better. Shipping took about 1 week.

I've had several vent mounted options that didnt hold up over time. This is bolted to the floor and works perfectly. Very sturdy as well. Im pleased with this mount.

Wow this came quick via USPS! This is one tough mount! It is far from flimsy and quite stiff. All a pleasant surprise. My 'naked' Evo LTE fits perfectly. The bottom 'fingers' are spring loaded for a secure fit. I'm a little concerned that the 'fingers' seem flimsy, but so far so good. Installation on the passenger front seat bolt was a piece of cake and took under five minutes. I highly recommend and plan on buying a second one for my wife.
