Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2006 Toyota Sienna With Do-It-Yourself Programming

Keyless Entry Remote Fob Clicker for 2006 Toyota Sienna With Do-It-Yourself ProgrammingI purchased a used Toyota Tacoma. It had only 1 remote and the dealer was too expensive. I wanted a second remote as a back up. After doing extensive research I found this on Amazon for a new OEM remote. It arrived and was exactly as described, a brand new remote with instructions. I followed everything on the sheet and it works perfectly...actually better than the one I had even after replacing the battery.

Great product.

Keyless entry systems prevent auto theft and also provide staggering markups for dealers, who sometimes sell items like this for about $300. I'd just bought a late-model used truck that came with one fob like this, and wanted spares, so I bought two. Programming was a snap sure, you have to do something like put the key in, turn it halfway, push the button, stand up, sit down, and pick a bail of cotton to program them but it was so simple, even a Systems Analyst could do it. :-) They have worked flawlessly ever since. The dealer can charge whatever they want, but with prices like this online, they will not get much business.

I got this for my '06 Toyota Sienna. Absolutely exactly as described. It took less than two minutes to program it, with the VERY easy to follow instructions. I would recommend this to anyone that lost the original, or needs another.

I have to say the programming instructions were so bizzarre, I thought "you have got to be kidding me." But I followed them exactly and it worked. Who knew that opening and closing the car door, turning the key on and off, opening and closing the door, and whatever else was in the sequence would program the remote? I was about ready to click my heels together and say "There's no place like home." But don't knock it. Just follow the instructions and you'll be absolutely pleased.

Only one fob came with the purchase of the van so we had to get a second one. The installation instructions were easy to follow and it only took one try to have the fob operational.

I rated the fob excellent because I have the 2 fobs that came with my truck. The directions for programming it though are very difficult to follow, so I am waiting until I have my truck serviced to have it programmed at the Toyota dealership.
